In My Little White Room Again
|
[Nogou Village] The sweet scent of fresh cut pines, berry plants baking in the mild autumn sun as golden brown leaves rained down from their stems and the other vegetation in the area with a slight whisper from the caressing winds, the heart full laughter of children as they chased their Pokemon about in circles, the small village down in the depression beckoning you to continue your approach; it was just another day in Nogou. With the sun slowly beginning to set, hiding behind the hills that surrounded the small town, the sky became a mural of golden red flares that were slowly beginning to be sucked down into the deep blue night that began to awaken. And now as you you’re your decent down from the hilltops down into the snug little village below the warm aroma of pies baking, bread steaming, and fresh picked fruits wafted up from their crates in the little market area. Despite the fact that the day was slowly coming to a close, the bustling citizens of Nogou did not halt with their business –whatever it may be. Shopkeepers still had their shops open with their goods, food, flowers, knick knacks, jewelry, and all other assortments up for display as customers swarmed through the ally-way looking for any potential interests. You could see some children clinging to their mother’s dresses or their fathers legs, a few of them wandered off screeching as an ice cream trolley came into view. They all giggled and laughed they pointed their pudgy fingers up against the glass and pressed their faces up against the glass of a nearby cake store as they fantasized over consuming Red Velvet cake, Sponge cake, and even one that was labeled “ Death by Chocolate”. It was sweet how the children where choked up in their own little fantasy worlds, living each day to the fullest and not wasting a second that could be used for play; it was a nice sight to see. As you continued through the ally, observing all of the little shoppes that were spread throughout it, you could hear an odd commotion coming from over yonder. Curious, you wandered closer to see a couple of what looked like self employed men talking amongst themselves. Each of them seemed flustered with something, for their eyes were narrow, faces red, and even one began to stamp his foot on the ground. Suddenly though and odd crash sounded from somewhere further down the alley and all men turned..especially when someone had began yelling, “Stop her! Stop her! Thief!” The man that had stomped in foot shot off immediately to intercept the thief, but he was rather scrawny, so he decided to go along with a different tactic. He grabbed a hold of one of the nearby metallic trash cans and through it out into the walkway; the can filling the width of the opening completely. He took a step back, then another, and jumped out of the way as slender dark legs flew over the barrier. A woman, apparently your age or a bit younger flew over the roadblock with absolute Grace –a little female Houndour right at her heels. The canine growled at the three men as they tied to approach her trainer, scarring them away with a burst of flames that she let rain down onto the ground below. The woman, wavy crimson hair that cascaded down her back and over her shoulders with black goggled perched upon her forehead , laughed at the men as they cowered in fear. She was quite beautiful too if you took a closer look at her, slender, beautiful dark golden eyes, and with a giant swirl lollipop stick out from between her lips. Oddly enough though, for being so pretty her clothing was rather conservative; combat boots, black skinny jeans, a random roughed up t-shirt, and what appeared to be an oversized biker jacket. Upon closer inspection, you could see in her left hand she had a sack over flowing with random merchandise…as well as a handful of cash wadded in her fist as well. With her free hand the woman pulled her goggled down off of her forehead and placed them around her eyes, situating them so that they fit her face perfectly. With a smirk, she looked down to the little Spinarak that had crawled from her backside onto her stomach, and then crawled her way up and onto her trainer’s shoulder. “Common girls! Time to split!” she said, gaining her Houdnour’s attention…and with that she was off –down, past you, and around the corner. “Someone! Stop her! Please?” cried a man from over yonder. Oh what to do what to do? Surely someone like you would be willing to do a simple good deed such as this..but don’t forget that chicka has a Houndour –who could literally wipe the floor with your little Sneel if she wanted to. |

Miles had quite enjoyed the trip to Nogou Village. He had heard rumors of how homely the village was, and how well it melded into the forest surrounding, but he had no idea that it was to such an extent that even the gym was hard to see. Everything was so healthy, so green, so amazingly humane that it stunned the miner. Miles walked by a plethora of assorted stores and trolley carts, holding anything and everything, as he watched the innocent children run happily over to the ice cream trolley. He smiled to himself, wondering what adventures would await him in this small village, as waves of citizens rushed by to perform their business. But Nogou wasn't the epitome of kindness and caring apparently, since a girl, labelled a thief, ran by with a satchel full of goods and a hand full of cash. Her hair was the prime part of her beauty; the crimson shade stood out against her golden eyes and odd attire. She was also in possession of some sort of spider Pokemon and a dog that could shoot flames. Her beauty was nothing to Miles though; he already had someone at home that he loved. Miles knew this thief wasn't going to be caught by anyone unless he did something, but was it worth it? That fire dog was dangerous to Serpens, and he didn't want to hurt his interesting new Pokemon. But he couldn't let the thief get away, could he? No, he wasn't about to take the chance of hurting his Sneel, and he didn't follow the thief. It was a tough choice, but he couldn't be a hero when it came to fighting. Maybe if he was better trained... Instead, he searched for another opponent, perhaps a wild Pokemon. And if a trainer fought him... Well, that might be better. |

So you wanted to avoid battling the thief, and try and find some pokemon. That was wise, considering that you were just a beginner. You needed to train Serpens, level him up until he evolved into an almighty Metaconda! Serpens only had 25 level to go until he evolved, it wasn’t impossible, just very difficult.. Anyways, as I type your ref, I’m going to munch down on a chicken salad sandwich from 808. It’s the best sandwich place around here! Just thought you should know.. As you continued down, further and further into Nogou, you almost felt a little guilty. I mean that poor man had been robbed of all his money, and it looked like a great deal of his merchandise. But oh well, your most concern was the safety of your pokemon, and that was what counted. However, as you went to turn the corner your jaw almost dropped. There standing not five feet in front of you was the thief. She was on one knee, quickly counting through the money she had just taken. As soon as she hit the end, she glanced up seeing you standing there. In almost an instant, she had the money back in her bag, and her Houndour was between the two of you. ”You have been following me! I’ll show you what happens to people who follow me! she shouted. Houndour quickly let off a viciously loud bark, before, like earlier, she sent out an array of flames, which hit the ground at your feet. Luckily, they went big embers, otherwise you could have been on fire at the moment, but I’m not really that evil.. ”C’mon! Summon your pokemon and battle me! Or, just you and my Houndour can play, either way, I’m going to enjoy watching you burn!" she said, quite harshly, might I add. Looks like there was no way around this fight, what you tried to get away from, was now your only way out. Luckily for you, one of the guys from earlier showed up, "Hey! he shouted, as he ran up beside you. "Help me defeat her, she's been stealing from our town for months, and it's time to fight back!" he shouted. He pulled out a pokeball, and sent it flying with a quick flick of his wrist. Soon, a Wooper would be standing between you, and Houndour. "I've got this one, just take out her Spinarak!" he shouted. Opponent! ![]() Level: 6 [The guy will battle the Houndour while you battle Spinarak, their battle will end when your's does. And sorry about the mix up..] Edited by Vlad, Sep 15 2010, 01:35 PM.

Miles was unfortunately going to have to fight this crimson-haired opponent of his. He really didn't want to, obviously, but it was okay. He could at least say he did a good deed here. He sighed and stooped down to pick up his mining kit, which he had dropped in surprise after seeing the girl. He cautiously opened it to reveal the Poketech, which wasn't on his arm for some reason. He strapped it on and began to peruse through the extraneous information throughout it, searching for the bug before him. After a couple seconds of searching, he found it. The little device had a surprisingly large amount of information about his opponent. He noticed the moves his opponent currently knew as Poison Sting, String Shot, and Scary Face. He wasn't sure about what those attacks actually did, but he could find out later. It seemed like Poison Sting was an actual attacking move, while the other two were buffs or debuffs. He then checked his Sneel's profile. He saw that his little snake could use Bind, Wrap, Leer, and Bite. Leer he knew was a debuff; that was at least one thing that was easy. The other three were more than likely attacking moves. One thing that made Miles smile was the realization that Poison-typed attacks were ineffective against Serpens. He readied himself as he pressed the button on Serpens' Pokeball. As the Sneel materialized in front of his presence, he began to issue some orders. "Okay Serpens. Let's begin by running up to Spinarak and Biting her twice. You won't be affected by Poison-typed moves, so don't worry about her Poison Sting." Miles was ready for his first battle to begin. |

So you decided to battle the crimson thief, or well you didn’t really have a choice, but it wasn’t anything you couldn’t handle. The woman had a Spinarak, and you had a Sneel. Like your poketech had already told you, poison type attacks were pretty much useless against a steel type, so you honestly had nothing to worrying about. But anyway let’s get on to the battle. The woman was quick to give her orders after you gave yours, ”Go my beauty, use your String Shot twice and reduce that thing’s speed” she said, making your pokemon sound like a monster. ”And after that I want you to fire off a poison sting! It may not be able to poison your foe, but it can still cause some damage” Boy did this chick not no about steel types.. Her voice was like honey when she spoke, it was kind of weird actually. If you didn’t know this woman was a thief and she just approached you, you would think she was as innocent as a newly hatched Happiny. However, you knew who she really was, and I guess you had to beat her in battle. She was awfully pretty though, maybe you could just talk things out? That sounds like a good idea to me.. wait, what am I saying? She’s a thief and I know what it feels like to have something stolen from you! So get in there and show her what happens to thieves! Do it for As Serpens closed in on his foe, he opened his mouth, revealing his fangs. And I’m not going to lie, they were scary looking.. But, as he slithered forward, he was hit by the two string shots, reducing his speed. But that didn’t stop the little guy. He managed to get close enough to bite the bug, and if he could have he would have eaten it, but I don’t have the power to make that happen. After his first attack he went in for another, which like the first one hit, but this time he was hit by the Spinaraks poison sting. Which didn’t do a thing… So this round was over. Both sides dealt their damage, and this battle was finally on. The only question was who would win? Sneel had a 100% chance of winning, but you never know what could happen. So we will just leave it to fate for now. Team Miles :sneel ![]() (Serpens) Level: 5 35/35 86%Notes: None. V.R.S ![]() Level: 6 23/37 91%Notes: -Three Move Combo Used. [OOC: Sorry it’s a crappy ref. Miles smiled broadly. Serpens did perfectly that round! As a matter of fact, it looked like his little snake didn't even take damage. It was good that he didn't take damage, because that would make things a lot easier for the next attack. He didn't think things would work out so well, so he decided to just keep with the same plan. Why fix what isn't broken, right? Miles checked the other Pokemon's moves again. Poison Sting, String Shot, and Scary Face. He was right that the String Shot wasn't a damaging move, and that Poison Sting was. Unless the enemy rammed straight into Serpens, his Sneel would take no damage. And even then, since Sneel was a Steel type, that would do barely anything. Oh man, how the tides were in his favor! Meanwhile, his mind wandered toward the girl. She really was beautiful; her crimson hair even more so. And her voice was like an angel's! Why is someone so lovely a slave to such evil? It didn't make sense. He could only wonder how such a thing happened. But enough of that: the girl was a thief, and she had to be stopped. There was no changing that. He glanced over to the other men holding off the Houndour to see how they were doing. When he confirmed that they were fine, he began with his orders. "Okay Serpens, here's what we're going to do. First, focus on your speed a little bit, so we can get back into the fight without having to worry about you missing. Then I want you to run as fast as possible and Belly Flop onto Spinarak. While she's down, coil around her and use Wrap to make this quick." He only assumed that's what Wrap meant; it's possible that Serpens would shoot a beam of light straight at his opponent's face when he said Wrap, but it wasn't too likely. {Oh yeah, and Serpens should be -2 speed from the String Shots, I think.} Edited by Miles, Oct 10 2010, 05:03 PM.

My muse is finally back to me so yay! Now to ref you, since you have been waiting for like ever >,>… After you made sure the other guy and his Wooper were ok, you explained your battle plans to your Sneel. After you finished your pokemon sprung into action, and quickly began focusing on raising his speed. Serpens began concentrating hard on raising his speed, and for some reason closed his eyes. I guess so he wouldn’t get distracted, but your opponent used this to her advantage. ”Spinarak! Run up to that Sneel and Strike it twice! Quickly now, go!” she commanded. Spinarak scurried as quickly as she possibly could towards your Sneel, hoping that she would be able to attack, throwing Sneel’s focus off. But, she wasn’t able to do so. Sneel quickly opened his eyes, and dodged the first strike. He would then prepare to leap into the air to use belly flop, but Spinarak managed to strike him first. Now even though Sneel was a steel type, and we all know that normal type moves don’t really do crap to steel type pokemon, it still threw him off guard, making belly flop unsuccessful. However, Sneel still had a move to use! He slithered over to Spinarak in the speed of light, not really, and coiled himself around the bug. While trapped in Sneel’s wrap, Spinarak pretty much couldn’t do a thing. The arachnid would just have to wait until Sneel released her, before she could attack. Hopefully for the thief and her pokemon, that would be soon. So this round was over. Both parties managed to get some damage in, but not much. However, Sneel had his opponent in his coils, the only question now was, what would he would with her? I guess that was all up to Miles, now wasn’t it? {Vlad, just saying, you randomly downgraded the Spinarak from level 5 to level 6 xD} Miles knew exactly what he would do now in this position. He had his opponent immobile, and by some force of luck, the little vermin wasn't a smashed mess on the ground. That was irrelevant. Anyway, he had his opponent right in place to use attacking moves without worry. Bind and Wrap seemed to him to be the same moves, almost, so his next logical choice would be Bite. He wasn't sure how powerful the attack was, but he knew that the bug probably couldn't stand two or three of them. It all depended on how successful Serpens was at keeping the Spinarak in his grasp while he executed the attacks. As long as he could keep his opponent at bay, no matter how many times she attacked him (somehow), he needed Serpens to not let go. Logically speaking, Miles knew that a 200 lb. snake could probably keep a bug that was less than a tenth of his weight from moving, but who knows? The point is, three Bites are what he wanted to do, and hopefully, the battle will be over by then. "Serpens, we have that Spinarak where we want her! I want you to Bite her three times in a row! Try to bite her in the same place though. Also, make sure you keep her constricted. Tightening your hold on her will help." Now, Miles waited. Edited by MilesMilitis, Oct 26 2010, 07:52 PM.

{Buwah, sorry about that Miles. That ref was horrible! x_x} Well it looked like this battle was going well for you. Everything was playing out in your favor, now wasn’t it! Serpens listened to your commands, and would quickly follow through with them. The steel-typed snake quickly opened his mouth, revealing rows of teeth, and quickly struck down and bit his opponent. The Spinarak screeched in pain, and began frantically struggling to get out of your pokemon death wrap. However, she was unsuccessful. The thief watched as her pokemon was bitten, and she winced herself. ”C’mon love! Get out of that ugly thing’s grip!” she cried out, ”Try and use string shot on its mouth, so he can’t bite you!” she shouted again. Serpens wasn’t about to wait for that to happen, and so he quickly launched back down with yet another bite. The Spinarak quickly let out another scream in agony, not only that, but she had started bleeding from her body. Serpens was excited about this, it would be his first battle he ever won, and soon he went in for the kill. As Serpens opened his mouth for the third time, Spinarak quickly unleashed as much string as she could. The web wrapped around Serpens mouth, causing his jaws to clamp shut. So no more bites, for now anyways. Even though Serpens mouth was wrapped shut, he still had Spinarak in his coils. No matter how much the poor pokemon tried she wasn’t going anywhere, and so in attempt to be set free, she struck at Serpens body. Barely doing any damage, but loosing the snake’s coils a bit. You would have to do something quick; otherwise Spinarak was going to get out. So what did you plan on doing next? I wanna know, I wanna know, so hurry and put your request in the rrt ^^ Team Miles :sneel ![]() (Serpens) Level: 5 29/35 66%Notes: [-2 Speed] V.R.S Crimson Thief ![]() Level: 6 5/37 73%Notes: [Three Move Combo Used] [Wrapped. –1 HP every Turn] |

Miles smiled quite a bit after that last attack. It was kind of humorous that Serpens had his mouth covered in the sticky silk of his opponent. It was also funny that his opponent was inches away from unconsciousness, due to being in Serpens' grip. He couldn't help but smile at such a wonderful predicament! It seemed like the other man was doing well against the Houndour, which was good, and it looked like Serpens and Miles were going to win their first battle. Miles was unsure of what he would do next, though. Bite was his primary method of attack, and now it was gone. He definitely would not wait for his opponent to faint from Wrap, that's for sure. He looked at his Poketech for some advice. After a little scrolling through some useless information, he came upon a Global Attack list. He looked at all the choices: Belly Flop, Flap (useless), Staredown, Intimidate, and Strike. It looked like Intimidate and Staredown were the same as Growl and Leer, and Strike was not a terribly powerful move. However, Belly Flop was based solely on weight, and he remembered that Serpens weighed upwards of 200 lbs.! Yes, Belly Flop was the best bet for the situation. "Serpens, we have this battle in the bag! First, make sure you keep a tight grip on that Spinarak so we can attack without worries! After that, use your weight to Belly Flop onto your opponent! Do it twice!" Let's end this. |

After you gave out your commands, Serpens immediately began to follow them out. The steel snake quickly tensed his body, causing his coils to extremely tighten around the Spinarak, which probably killed it right then and there. Then he the snake lifted up the upper half of his body, and slammed down on the Spinarak as hard as he possibly could! The weight of your pokemon smashing against the weight of the Spinarak was like an anvil falling on an egg. Hell, the Spinarak only weighed 18lbs, which was not even close to your Sneel’s 230lbs. So ya, I’m almost positive that you not only made your opponent faint, but I think you may have killed it as well. Well, I must say, job well done! You managed to beat the thief, and kill her pokemon! Yay for you! Haha, I’m just kidding. Anyways, as soon as your battle ended, the thief recalled her Spinarak, it seemed as though she had already recalled Houndour. I mean it was after all, at a major type disadvantage against the man’s Wooper. So all was well, both you and the other guy managed to defeat the thief, who now had a smirk on her face. She looked at the both of you, ”Well played boys” she said, with her lovely voice. ”But now, I must get going. Ta Ta for now.” she said once more, and before you knew it. The thief threw a beautiful red rose at your feet, the stem stuck into the ground like a dart, and almost as soon as it stuck in the ground, it exploded. It wasn’t really a fire explosion, but an explosion of pink smoke, which actually smelled like berries. Weird. After the smoke cleared, which only took a few minutes, you and the man would look around, only to find no one in sight. How did she disappear that fast? Well I guess she was a ninja, because she was honestly gone. After a few seconds of both being dazzled, the man finally looked at you. ”Thank you for helping me defeat her. That woman is more trouble then a stampede of Tauros” he harshly said, ”Her name is Rosalee, but everyone around here calls her Bandita.” So you know knew her first name, maybe with a few more encounters you could get her number, but who was to say that you would ever see her again? Well who needs girls anyway right? As long as you had your pokemon, nothing could be better. Which speaking of pokemon, maybe you should go have Serpens healed. I mean, this man was just blabbering on and on, and to be honest it was kind of getting annoying.. Congratulations! Serpens gained 15.6 for winning! Serpens is now level seven, and has 4.6 exp remaining! Please post in the Porfile Updates thread to have these changes made to your profile. Edited by Vlad, Nov 4 2010, 09:22 PM.

Rosalee, huh? Beautiful name for a beautiful woman. However, she was nothing to him, compared to Decorus. Miles already had a woman, and he didn't plan on cheating on her. He was too busy anyway. Serpens was his memory of her, and he doted on his little Sneel like he was the only one for him. And of course, just now, Serpens showed his mettle against a tougher opponent. He was glad that he could win and help the people of Nogou against a thief. He didn't really know if he actually stopped people from getting things stolen from them, but it didn't matter. He didn't mind being the man of the moment. "Great job Serpens. Let's get you to a Pokemon Center so we can move on." Miles pulled the Sneel's Pokeball from his mining kit and put Serpens into his Pokeball. He began, then, to set out for the Pokemon Center. He was smiling happily, for no real reason. Yeah, he helped Nogou chase off a thief, and pulled off a win in his first trainer battle, but that wasn't it, he knew. It was the view. As much as Miles loved to mine, he hated the environment. Here, though, it was a breath of fresh air every time he took one. The trees were the greenest he had ever seen, and the human life was melded in with the forest life so well that he heard it's almost impossible to find the gym. That's the life he wished was part of the mining life. But no worries; Miles was focused on the present, and maybe in the future, he could buy a mining site and add a little to the surroundings. |

In My Little White Room Again
|
So you chased her off huh? That’s the last time I create a pretty little redhead to come and intervene in someone’s journey, especially one who could have seriously beaten someone into the ground with her precious little Houndour –but I’m too nice for that. Perhaps that is my problem..am I too nice? This question crosses my mind quite frequently because, quite honestly, I want to screw people over somehow –it makes reffing more fun, don’cha think? But I cannot force myself to do something like that, especially when the person has a very interesting character and my conscious is raging against me. Oh well, I’ll have to set aside a ref or few in the future in which I can resurrect hell to earth and force mangled little demons to chew at the bones of the protagonist –slurping up their delicious marrow in great sloppy slurps..and then to have said protagonist awaken from the dream. Yeeees. That would be fun. I must keep note of that somewhere. You had won the battle, and now, looking down to your injured friend you had decided that now would be the best time to move on and go visit the Pokemon Center. It wasn’t hard to find, even despite the fact that it was colored a deeper shade of red to match with its surroundings –bright ass crimson just wasn’t going to work in this tree hugging community. Anyways though, you entered through the frosted glass double doors and quickly made your way over to the front desks where little Chanseys trolled behind. One of them saw you immediately and rushed through the door behind the counter to summon a nurse, and together the two of them immerged. She took your Sneel’s Pokeball cautiously and wondered back into the room to proceed with healing him, then returned him to you moments later. The center was cold and relatively crowded with people, so you made your way back outside. Looking around, you could see the small bed of flowers lining the sides of the center. They where mangled with a mess of daffodils, sunflowers, and even roses. Whatever species of flower that could be found in this area where planted there, and each one was personally raised and cared for by the gardener who was kneeling over them. He wiped his brow with the back of his hand before going back to untangling the stems that had become intertwined when either children or Pokemon decided to play in these small fields, but from the look on his face you could tell that he was pleased with what he was doing. Some children shouted over yonder, to the left of the center, down a steep and grassy hill where they rolled about with their Pokemon. They called and screeched joyfully as they tackled one another, and then would occasionally turn their attention over to their parents (who were sitting on a park bench) and began to beg for them to join them. The father eventually went over to ruff house with his children and their Pokemon, leaving the mother to watch over them sweetly. “Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaanma~” The odd noise caught your attention, and brought your focus over to the giant spectacle that was out before you. An elaborate fountain stood at the center out before you at the entrance of the center, and only now did you actually take notice of it. It was of a Lapras, head held high as if she was singing, but with water spraying from her mouth as well as from other areas around her body that made her appear to be riding on a wave of water. As your eyes drifted down along the polished statue, you could see a small family of Yamna skimming the surface of the water. They appeared to be content with sliding along the surface of the water and occasionally getting a drink from it, and hell, they were quite a sight to see since they normally keep to themselves within the heavily wooded area that loomed several miles behind the center over yet another hill. So, I’ve given you a few options to go about here. There is a flock of Yanma before you, a creepy forest just over the horizon, and a massive flock of trainers inside of the Pokemon Center who may all be itching for a fight. So what do you wish to do? Something I’ve picked out or would you rather set out a new path for yourself?

You see, what Miles really wanted to do in his life was figure out just how many licks it takes to get to the Tootsie Roll center of a Tootsie Pop. Unfortunately, there were no Tootsie Pops lying around, and so he had to settle with fighting a bunch of ugly ass bugs that were really annoying. Apparently it was swarm season for them, and they were swarming all right. He felt that he would perhaps be doing a lot of people a favor if he, you know, beat the daylights out of a few of those things. He stared for a minute at the Pokeball containing Serpens. His Sneel was residing in it, refreshed after his fight with Rosalee and her Spinarak. A smile moved over his face when he thought of the battle. It was a smart choice on his part to bring Serpens with him, as it was proving to be very helpful. When he threw the Pokeball down to release Serpens, he started to think about the best way to knock out the Yanma. Sneel was an unusually heavy Pokemon, so Belly Flop would definitely be in his repertoire, along with his standard Wrap and Bite combo. "Serpens, let's do this. We're going to focus on the stronger female Yanma first. If you can get your attacks in before they attack, Belly Flop her, and then follow it up by Wrapping her and Biting her. If you can't get the other attacks in, use your remaining moves to retaliate through Biting." It seemed confusing when Miles looked back on it, but hopefully Serpens would figure it out. |

[Location -- Nogou Village] So, he were are. A nice little setting to keep you occupied for the time being, what with all the families out with their children. Among all of the choices you had, you decided to stay here and attack one of the said families in the area. Granted, they weren't one of human families with their pokemon. But all the same, that trio of Yanma's were a family. Just who exactly are you, anyway, to want to disrupt their happiness by aiming straight for the mother? You should be ashamed. Especially when they hardly venture out over this way. Sigh. Anyway, since you've already made your decision, we're just going to move right along and see what happens. So, off Serpens went, slithering along the ground with his abnormally heavy body, leaving behind a small trail in the ground where he had been. The family of Yanma were merrily buzzing around the fountain with joy, their legs lightly grazing the water and causing a few ripples upon the surface. You know, there is actually a surprising amount of water in this thing. Yet, there you were, sending a pokemon of considerable weight:size ratio over there to attack the pokemon that were hovering above it. I kind of wonder what would happen if... Serpens fell in. Would he drown? If he started to, would you think to return him to his pokeball or attempt to lift a good two-hundred some-odd pounds out of the water? Hehe. Anyway! He was fast approaching the target, all ready to bring all of his weight crashing down upon the body of a poor, unsuspecting insect. Though, in truth, they weren't entirely unsuspecting. I mean, c'mon, did you think that a large snake heading their way would just go by unnoticed? Hah. Anyway, the Yanma family kept a cautious eye out for your pokemon, and just as it was about to attack, they all ascended into the air, away from Serpens and the reach of his attack. Bummer. But wait, there's more. His attack missed the pokemon, but it kept going. Right onto the side of the statue. Metal scales, plus weight, plus concrete means that there was a very loud noise. Even further, a few cracks had appeared on the edge of the surface, running almost to the base of the statue. Staring up at the Yanma, Serpens quickly realized that he wouldn't be able to reach them anytime soon; especially not without shattering this statue in the process. The Yanma, instead of being angry or frightened, had looks of glee upon their faces. They were having fun! Still, they didn't attack. Maybe batting was not their solution? They seemed like they were just teasing, or toying, with your Sneel. Hrm. You could either try to keep attacking somehow, or you could try playing a game with them. Watch out though, 'cause they're clever little bugs. |
