Millenia Town Pokemon center “Sir..Sir..can you please give us a coment?”…”What happened tonight Sir?” Questions abound as the plethora of news crews tried to surround you and force you to reveal your secrets and inform them of all the things they felt they needed to know. Man reporters sure can be annoying can’t they? Especially the really annoying ones who pester you for information, so pretty much the entire group of reporters here. It is ok though, these pesky reporters have nothing on you and you skillfully weave a tale about how you intend on giving them information on a later date in time. Annoyed by this the Reporters nevertheless retreated to look for something of interest to film. Heh pesky reporters, you sure showed them huh? Anyways back to the task at hand. After capturing the Slugma you pulled some dodging and weaving that helped you escape the crowd and dart down a back alley. You made your way quickly to the Pokémon center and looked around for the Breeder who you saw earlier. You drop your Pokémon off to Nurse Joy and then walk up to him and press him for information about where the Slugma might have come from and after a brief sigh the Breeder decides to tell you what he knows. He looks around to make sure no one is listening then leans towards you, “Have you heard the rumor going around about a rogue scientist named Siegre Telan? He is notorious for performing illegal experiments on fire Pokémon? Apparently he lives in the shady part of town under an abandoned building.” He stops for a second, as if thinking then continues, “The sign is pretty much destroyed but you should be able to see some of it. Just look for a 3 story building with a sign that says ‘Rdy Manor’. It used to be a place for homeless people but after a fire a year and a half ago it has been abandoned. I think that there might be some connection to this scientist and why the Fire Pokémon attacked today. So far no one has taken the time to listen to me but I think with your help we can finally shut that mad-man down. What do you say?” He asks and holds his hand out. Well it looks like you found a lead as to what might be the cause of these Slugma now all you have to do is follow it up…or don’t, it’s up to you. Edited by Absesas, Oct 4 2012, 06:56 AM.

Listening to the breeder Chris tried to remember any rumors that he mentioned. Unfortunately he hadn’t heard anything of the sort, but it sounded good. A mad scientist who experimented on fire Pokemon caused the problem that nearly burned down half the town. Sounded like a bad anime on television. He looked at the man like he was crazy. “Ok, I’m going to head there.” Giving the man a good smile Chris turned and looked like he was heading for the door. However before he reached it he snapped his fingers and headed back to the counter. He leaned towards the nurse on duty and spoke in a quiet voice. “Can you please do me a favor and watch him? I think he might be dangerous.” He didn’t want to get the man in trouble but something about the story made Chris suspicious. A mad scientist was very unlikely, and a negligent breeder was a better idea. So instead of calling the guy out he was just going to ask the nurse to be careful. Giving her his most confident smile he turned and left the Pokemon Center. Once he left the building Chris glanced back at the Pokemon Center. Something about this wasn’t a good idea, but he couldn’t figure out why. With a sigh he turned in the direction that he guessed the building was and headed down the street. Whatever happened he was going to find out why. |

Millenia Town Moving into the shadier part of town So you decided you wanted to take this guy’s request and go check out this scientist he was so worried about? Awesome it’s always nice to help people, especially if the consequences of not helping could be tragic so it’s good you decided to help. As you gave you response to his request for help he nodded before reaching behind him and pulling two Poke-balls out of a backpack. “Very well, if you succeed I will give you the choice of one of these two Pokémon. The first is Aron and the second is Carvanha,” he said with a serious look. After that he gave you the directions to find the scientists lab and, after dealing with Nurse Joy and making sure all your Pokémon where healed you headed out and made your way around the Poke-center and started the somewhat long walk to the shadier part of town. The walk was relatively uneventful compared to the fire you just got done dealing with. A few random pedestrians moved about to finish up their last minute errands and get ready to head on home. After about 15 minutes you find yourself cutting across an empty street and moving into a side alley to try and get across to the other side of a group of buildings. As you move you notice that this area looks a lot dirtier than the main part of the city. There is trash strewn at random, the occasional bum asleep on a doorstep or curled up inside a box, all in all it looked like you were moving into the right area. You push forward and are just about to exit the alley when you hear a cry of pain down a little off to your right in a little alcove. You move forward, since it’s on your way anyways, and spot a Meowth being attacked by 4 Dratt and, for its part, the Meowth was putting up a good fight but just couldn’t get away from the incessant cruel poking and prodding the Dratt where giving it. The Meowth, if you looked close enough, was bleeding severely from a deep gash across its right eye that would almost certainly leave a nasty scar. Its tail was bent at an odd angle which suggested it might be broken at about middle of it and it limped as it moved, favoring its left leg. Despite all of these rather severe and painful wounds the Meowth continued to fight to protect itself, a look of determination and confidence shown in its eyes, though if you looked close enough you could just barely tell that he was starting to lose hope that he would survive. Well it looked like you had an opportunity to save a Meowth here if you wanted to take it, at the very least the Dratt could be potentially useful if you want to try and catch one. Better make your decision fast if you’re going to help, that Meowth looks to be in a very dire situation.

Glancing in the little alcove Chris cursed under his breath. This situation seemed all too familiar to when he first started his journey. Back then it was a Glameow vs. a couple Spinarak. He saved the poor cat like Pokemon then, and didn’t even bother catching it. Instead he took it home where he felt it was still waiting for him. Now history was repeating itself. Shifting his backpack a little more Chris contemplated leaving the group and continue on his way. The Meowth might have started the fight over territory, but looking at the injuries it might have been the other way around. He brought up his Poketech to check on the Dratts. What he saw eliminated all hesitation to intervene. Slipping out two Pokeballs and mentally choosing his third and fourth Chris stepped into the alcove. “Leave him alone.” He tossed the two Pokeballs out while replacing the used Pokeballs with two more. Let’s teach them a lesson. Meditite, Pichu, Torkoal, and Lapras. Come on out!” Pichu and Meditite appeared between Meowth and the Dratts, while Lapras and Torkoal were a little too big to fit in the space. However they looked in the alcove like towering powerhouses. Pointing at the Dratts Chris made his declaration. “Leave that Meowth alone. Or be prepared to battle.” Looking at his four Pokemon Chris mentally spoke to Meditite. Normally in a Pokemon battle against another trainer you had to give your Pokemon commands verbally. But there was no such rule in a wild Pokemon battle. Meditite, please give my commands to the others. Pichu is to use Charge and then Thundershock if the Dratts attack. Lapras to use Confuse Ray on as many as possible. Torkoal to attack with Ember. And you try to get Meowth out of the alcove and safely behind me. If any attack then I want you to use Thunder Punch. Don’t bother using psychic since they are Dark types. A mental confirmation came back and Chris smiled. He knew his other Pokemon were familiar with Meditite’s mental abilities so they would receive and understand the order. He just hoped he could force the Dratts to leave without a fight. Meowth looked like he was in danger, and the longer they waited the worse it could be. He didn’t like it, but Chris had to bully the bullies. |

Millenia Town - Shady side Currently in an Alleway So you decided to go the route of good Samaritan partially because of the bad reputation that Dratt had? Man these Pokémon sure seemed to be dead set on proving people that pokemon CAN be evil aren’t they? You threw out your Pokémon and then sent your mental orders to which your Meditite, and subsequently your other Pokémon, confirmed they each understood. The Dratt stopped tormenting the poor Meowth and looked at you with varying expressions of confusion, surprise, and anger. What appeared to be the leader of the little group stepped forward, glaring angrily at you, “Dratt Att Dra Dra Dratt!” it said before turning to face your Pichu and started using the Taunt Attack. Much to the annoyance of your Pokémon each Dratt turned to face a different target and used Taunt on whichever Pokémon it was facing. Sadly each attack except for the one on your Pichu worked rather well and caused your Torkoal, Lapras, and Meditite to become taunted. This didn’t really affect anything other than your Lapras whom, for lack of any other attack orders, tried positioning itself to assist with the Meowth extraction. Pichu started preparing to attack by using Charge to increase its power but the Dratt in front of him wasn’t going to wait and moved to attack with Fury Swipes. Pichu tried jumping out of the way but was not fast enough and ended up being hit 4 times before the attack ended but this placed the Dratt well within close reach for the Thunder shock that you asked for. Pichu looked the Dratt square in the eyes and unleashed its attack which hit and caused the Dratt to convulse wildly as the charge boosted electric attack coursed through his body, doing decent damage. Torkoal, watching Pichu fight, sent an Ember at the Dratt the electric type was focusing on before sending another at the one in front of him. The one sent at the one Pichu was attacking hit with critical damage but the one used on the foe in front of Torkoal missed by only a few inches. the Second highest level Dratt moved in with a series of Scratch but Torkoal ducked back, causing the already angry Dratt to become even more enraged as its wild swings missed their mark at every turn.. Meditite, after sending mental orders to the Meowth as to what the plan was, started getting the feline Pokémon moving. The other low level Dratt moved in to cut off their retreat by jumping high into the air and trying to come down on top of the poor Meowth. Meditite clenched his fist as electric energy started to spark and, with a quick jump of his own, sent that same fist into the left side of its hip of the enemy Dratt. The low level Dratt was sent flying backwards and hit a wall before sliding to the ground. It didn’t look like the attack itself would be enough to take it out, but that definitely looked like it hurt as the Dratt tried to stand but a severe pain in its left leg prevented it from moving very much. The second low level Dratt, after watching the Thunder punch, decided that was the move it would Mimic and temporarily learned Thunder punch. It turned to your Lapras and, after charging its fist, went in with a Thunder punch attack. It hit your Lapras square in the body causing her to Lapras cry out in pain but she was able to overcome the electricity wracking her body and lowered its head to try and give Meowth a chance to climb over it and get close enough to move behind you. Meowth saw the opening and took it, darting up along the Lapras’ neck, landing on the ground beside it and scurrying over to get behind you. It looked as bad close up as it did far away and you could tell that if you didn’t do something for it soon its life would be in very grave danger. Well that first round was kind of difficult but it seemed your Lapras was a real trooper, taking that hit and STILL giving that Meowth the chance it needed. It seemed that these Dratt knew what they were doing and they had every intention of taking you and that Meowth down. What would you do now that the Meowth was out of immediate danger of being attacked?

Cursing under his breath Chris glared at the Dratt. Thunderpunch was a move he taught Meditite, and now that Dratt mimicked it. Even worse he used it on Lapras, which only made his angry. The only good news was that Lapras toughed out the attack and still managed to help the Meowth to safety. Up close the Meowth looked worse than in the alley. The injuries looked similar to the ones Lapras sported when she beached herself. The kind of injuries that progressively got worse as time moved on. They needed to get the cat-like Pokemon to a Pokemon Center quickly or things would just get worse. Or at least to his mom; she’d know what to do. But they first had to deal with these renegade Pokemon. It didn’t look like they could just confuse them like they did with the Slugma. The Dratt took care of that with the Taunt. Chris could try to switch them out and back in again, but who knows what these Pokemon would do during that time. They just might use Taunt again and put him back at square one. No, they had to go on the offensive. Time to get creative. Pointing at the ‘leader’ Chris gave his first orders to his water/ice Pokemon. “Let’s go Lapras. Use Ice Shard on that one. Then follow up with Water Gun.” Hopefully that would throw the leader off and make things easier on the others. Pointing at the laughing boy who mimicked the Thunderpunch. “Torkoal I want you to stop that one with Fire Spin. Keep him isolated from hurting Lapras further. Then use Ember on that one.” He pointed at the leader again. “If Lapras manages to finish him off then use it on one of the ones not trapped.” Turning to his great duo Chris gave the last of his commands. “Meditite I want you and Pichu to double team that one.” He pointed at the weaker of the two females. “Meditite use Thunderpunch and Pichu use Thunder Wave. Follow up with another Thunderpunch, and if you’re not Taunted Pichu I want you to use Thunder Wave on the other one. If you are then use Thundershock on the weaker of the two if she’s still up. If not then use it on the leader or the stronger female.” |

Millenia Town - Alleyway Early Evening Breezy These Dratt are far more troublesome than I first thought. They're listed as pet peeve Pokémon, but by the looks of this current battle I can safely say that they're proving to be significantly more than that. By all means, this battle is winnable, but I'm sure that it will be a struggle so long as these mimicking swindlers are stealing your moves over and over. I guess all you really need to do here is dispense of these Pokémon then get the rather weak Meowth (who is sat behind you liking his wounds) to safety. Who knows, maybe he'll join you too if you treat him right! Of course, that would indicate that the Dratt were up for a fight. Admittedly, they had appeared very ready to give your Pokémon partners a sound kicking a few moments ago - but for some reason, all four of them seemed rather hesitant. You noticed in particular that they were looking beyond both you and your team. Furthermore, you could feel a rather warm sensation tickling your back every so often. Just what were they staring at that was directly behind you? Why had they stopped attacking you - was this new entrant to the fray so dangerous that these Dratt would so easily consider running with their tails between their legs? As you turned your face slightly, you soon realised just what was so problematic - for the quartet of Dratt and your own Pokémon. The former soon scarpered as a fearsome whinnying noise accompanied the arrival of this new Pokémon - whilst you could only stare in surprise and shock. This Ponyta was incensed. From what you could see, there were notable marks down the mane of the Fire Horse Pokémon - it seemed as though this poor Ponyta had been given drugs! Perhaps this was one of the results of the scientist's experiments that the breeder had referred to? Needless to say, it was evidently clear that it was far stronger than any normal Ponyta you had ever come across - it almost seemed like one step of his hooves upon you would crush your body in seconds. You may think that this Ponyta could be a decent opponent, but are your Pokémon ready to take on such a strong Fire Horse Pokémon that has more drugs in him than Charlie Sheen on a Saturday night? I have a feeling that this drug is likely to wear off over time, of course. At the moment, however, considering just how powerful this rather large fire Pokémon is, there is only one option that will not involve you scraping your partners and the injured Meowth off the side of the alleyway. Chris stood there with a ‘Deerling in in the headlights’ expression on his face. This wasn’t something he was prepared to deal with, and it obviously showed. A mental slap in the face from Meditite knocked him back to reality and he quickly calculated his odds. They were not looking good. The Dratt were vacating the premises at high speed, and Chris was thinking the same. His Pokemon seemed reluctant to fight, but they were willing to defend their trainer. Even Lapras looked ready to fight, and she was the newest of the group. But Chris knew that it would be a losing battle the way the Ponyta was now. Maybe the effects would wear off soon, he hoped. They had to act fast. Not bothering with using Meditite as a telepathic translator Chris called out his orders. “Lapras use Confuse Ray quickly. Torkoal cover our escape with Smog.” He hoped that the two attacks would throw the Ponyta in such confusion that they could make their escape. While the two Pokemon launched their attacks Chris pulled out a Sitrus Berry and tossed it to the Meowth. “Find a place to hide and eat that.” With a mental thought Chris had both Meditite and Pichu jump onto his shoulders and hang on. When it became apparent that Lapras and Torkoal did their job he quickly called them back to their Pokeballs and made a break for it down the alley. This was not what he wanted to do with his day. |

Millenia Town - Town Centre Early Evening Breezy You've gotten yourself into a rather bad mess today, haven't you? If it wasn't bad enough that you had to put out a warehouse fire at first, you've come up against a quarter of Dratt trying to commit Pokécide upon a helpless Meowth and somehow incurred the rage of a drugged up Ponyta. Seriously, what have you done to deserve such a crap day? I suppose the only positive here is that you haven't been cornered by this Fire Horse Pokémon. Otherwise, you and your team would be resembling chestnuts on an open fire during Christmas. “Lapras use Confuse Ray quickly. Torkoal cover our escape with Smog,” you ordered, turning to run away from this incensed Ponyta as quickly as you could - you obviously had no intention of sticking around to deal with this one just yet. Thankfully, your large dinosaur-like Pokémon found the mark with her Confuse Ray, giving the junked-up horse significantly more to worry about. Then again, this Ponyta may have been confused in the first place from all the crap he had been given, so it might have just done nothing at all! However, it did buy you some time, allowing you to escape this alleyway with your body still in one piece. I'm not totally sure whether the Meowth will alright in the face of your new foe, but at least you had done something to help him in his time of need. Probably not enough, but who knows? Maybe you'll see him again when he's all healed up - or simply charred into toasty cat food for some alley-cat. Regardless, you charged away from the alley, hoping upon hope that the rabid Fire Horse wouldn't follow you as you attempted to find somewhere...anywhere to hide, or to merely get your Pokémon healed up so that you could give this drugged horse a decent battle. No such luck I'm afraid - the neighing of this Ponyta foe followed your every step. You dared not to look back in the event that he was right behind you. Luckily for you, the Millenia Town Pokémon Centre was very close to your current position, almost within touching distance. I'd get inside if I were you. As quickly as possible. Trying to pour on the juice Chris knew it was a useless prospect. It was crazy to try and outrun a Pokemon, especially if it was a fast one like Ponyta. Plus he had two hitchhikers that he didn’t get a chance to put in their Pokeballs. No matter how much he was in shape this was a futile prospect. Glancing up he noticed how close the Pokemon Center was. A brief hope came to his mind when he realized safety was within arms reach. But immediately it was pushed out of his mind by another prospect. He was leading the crazy Pokemon right into a populated area. Even worse, he was leading the crazy fire type into a place with injured Pokemon. That thought right there caused him to slam on his breaks and whirls to face the charging Pokemon. Both Meditite and Pichu looked at Chris like he was crazy, and the psychic/fighting Pokemon probed the mind of his trainer for an answer. Once he realized the problem he immediately relayed it to Pichu. With their faces becoming determined both Pokemon jumped to the ground in front of Chris. Like their trainer, neither of them was going to let a rampaging Pokemon hurt others. Slipping two Pokeballs from the folds of his jacket Chris called out two more Pokemon. “We can’t let him through. Let’s go Wingull, Houndour.” The two Pokemon appeared from the beams of red, Wingull taking to the air as soon as he could. They had to keep this Pokemon from hurting others. Pointing at the approaching Pokemon Chris called out his orders. “Pichu, I want you to slow it down with Thunder Wave. Then follow up with Charm.” If they could reduce the Pokemon’s strength then they had a chance. “Wingull I want you to climb as high as you can then dove bomb with Water Pulse in front of you. Repeat as necessary, but don’t dive without water in front of you.” Turning to Houndour and Meditite he gave his final orders. “Alright, you two are on quality control. Keep Ponyta from everyone else.” He turned to Houndour. “Stay between him and the streets. If he makes an attempt to run over or around you use Roar to send him back.” To Meditite he continued. “Use Hidden Power to try and keep him here. If he attacks use Detect to avoid it.” |

Millenia Town - Town Centre > Unknown Lab Early Evening Breezy Have you lost your mind?!! Of all the thoughts and deliberations that went in and out of your head, the decision you wanted to make was to turn around and face a crazy drugged up equine wreathed in flame?! It's your funeral - I hope you enjoy getting trampled on by a rabid Ponyta. I see even your Pokémon agreed with me on this one. I understand you want to protect the people within that Pokémon Centre, but that will mean nothing if both you and your Pokémon end up flat on your back covered in hoof marks. You've made your bed, and I suppose it's time for you to lie in it - let's take care of this rabid horse! However... "Quickly, in here!" a voice yelled, a gloved hand grabbing hold of your arm to drag you down a nearby alleyway. Realising you were heading away from the scene of your dramatic and bloody finale, you hastily dragged out the PokéBalls that belonged to each of your Pokémon to recall your partners. However, beyond that, you couldn't help but look backwards, watching as the Fire Horse Pokémon continued his charge. Moments later, you heard a multitude of beeping noises, before your eyes glimpsed the inside of a doorway - which immediately closed and locked itself as it shut. You had no idea where you were, but it was clear that this man, whoever he was, had essentially saved your life - that drugged up Ponyta had found himself smashing away at the doorway with little success. Just what is that thing made of anyway? Regardless, as you turned around, you finally saw who your saviour was - and just what was inside the building he had taken you to. DOCTOR GIUSEPPE PIRLO "For your information, I am Doctor Giuseppe Pirlo. I apologise for dragging you in here, but you would be dead otherwise," the scientist admitted, gently bowing his head. However, you weren't really paying attention to your 'saviour' any more - your attention was drawn to the tables lined with scientific equipment. More importantly, you noticed several syringes. This man, the good 'doctor', appeared to be involved in something was ever so slightly amiss. "It is a shame, really - I had expected my magnum opera to maintain their composure, rather than running rabid," he stated, glancing out at the doorway - which was still being struck viciously. "Perhaps my experimentation has been flawed in this regard," Pirlo continued, stepping further into the dingy laboratory to stare further at the syringes on display - whilst his words were overly complex at times, you had a good idea that this man, was behind the raging Ponyta that stood outside the doorway. "It will wear off in time - but I need help in catching the beast outside," he stated, motioning for you to follow him. "There is a second entrance to this place - we will exit from there and catch the horse off guard," Giuseppe admitted, subtly pointing down a smaller corridor. His intentions for catching the Ponyta may be morally bankrupt, and you'd be perfectly within your rights to tell him where he can stick his plans. In all honesty, I wouldn't be surprised if you called the police right now and sold this bespectacled nutter out! However, you know full well that you want to stop that Fire Horse from causing damage to the town. Maybe, for this moment at least, you should give the good doctor a hand? Looking around Chris couldn’t hide the disgust on his face. He had been in enough Pokemon Centers helping his mom that he recognized some of the stuff. The others he guessed from various horror movies that he was talked into watching. The ‘good doctor’ was anything but what he claimed to be, and that just made Chris more angry. Add in the fact that he mentioned the Ponyta outside as a ‘beast’ and hinted at his involvement with said Pokemon, and it look all of Chris’s willpower to not tie the doctor to the table and open the door. Actually he was beginning to consider that option as the man explained his plan. Would it be considered murder if he tied the man down, or would it be justified as suicide on the man’s part. Either way he wasn’t going to get a man killed just because he didn’t like the guy. Instead of doing what he wanted to do, Chris did what he had to do. And that involved him looking at his Poketech and pushing a few buttons. He sent a brief message to his father: “Dad, send police to location. Mad scientist working with fire Pokemon. Warehouse his fault.” Lowering his Poketech Chris looked at the scientist with a cold glare. He asked the question, though he pretty much figured out the answer. “Why do you need my help? Don’t you have a counter drug that won’t hurt the Pokemon?” |

Millenia Town - Unknown Lab Early Evening Breezy I can't blame you for being disgusted by all this. Quite frankly, your idea of tying down the good doctor and letting the rabid Ponyta outside have his way with the one who caused such harm would have been rational in this instance. However, you saw sense and instead informed the police - in secret, of course. You didn't want Dr. Pirlo to pick up on your movements, after all. “Why do you need my help? Don’t you have a counter drug that won’t hurt the Pokemon?” you asked, gritting your teeth as you questioned the good doctor - even though you felt you knew the answers to your questions. “I experiment, dear trainer," the doctor replied, slowly stepping forward towards the second door to the lab. It was almost as though he was about ready to wander up and down the back hall as he continued his explanation - though thankfully, he refrained from such activities. "The cocktail of drugs inserted into these Pokémon...let's just say it's almost impossible to now what would counter such toxins with doing harm," he continued, pointing to the collection of bottles strewn across the open cupboards to your left - you hadn't really noticed before, but there were a rather large amount of them! No wonder the good doctor would struggle to know what would counter the drugs he had already injected into the Ponyta. "Injecting the wrong drug into the beast without testing the reactions outside the body could be fatal," Dr. Pirlo admitted, pressing one of the half-full syringes by the table - causing a rather viscous liquid to squirt over the floor. I don't know what is in that thing, and I don't want to find out to be honest. "All I suggest is we exit this place, catch the horse outside and allow him time for the effects to wear off," the good doctor stated, electing to show some form of compassion in a bid to get you in on this plan. "If you need to use your Pokémon to help you, there is a healing machine to your right," he added, pointing towards the machine closest to you. It was your typical PokéBall healing machine, which you rather cautiously placed your Pokémon into to heal. Naturally, you were sceptical of all this - you almost felt as though this doctor had nothing more than a black, dried up little heart within his body, if one was in there at all. You had a feeling that once the Ponyta had calmed down, this doctor would merely test more drugs upon the poor thing. You trusted this man about as much as you'd trust Mitt Romney - as far as you could throw him. Such reluctance and scepticism left you hesitant to follow the good doctor. "If you don't trust me, I'll go on ahead and open the door," Dr. Pirlo admitted, moving on forward. In the near distance, the obvious sound of a door opening echoed around the lab - before a slightly less common, and certainly more harrowing male shriek shattered the sullen silence that had preceded it. "Help me!" the doctor yelled from afar - before noises that were virtually indescribable accompanied the cries. Within minutes, silence fell over the lab once more. But not for long. Having heard such sounds before you were taken into this lab, you instantly recognised the hooves of the wild Ponyta charging down the corridor. You had tried to run from him previously - but in this instance, there truly was no escape. You didn't know the code to get out of the door you entered from, and the drugged up horse in front of you was blocking the only open exit. You had to battle this Fire Horse Pokémon. Though...doesn't he seem a little weaker than before? DRUGGED POKÉMON Level 23 ![]() Angry Current Drug Effect: All damaging attacks are boosted by one stage (e.g. Tackle is now a C power attack) |

Shaking his head Chris used the machine the doctor indicated. The man was an idiot in Chris’s opinion, a brilliant idiot. If there was anything horror movies taught him; it was that you should always know what you’re making so you know how to stop it. Or else you’d end up with a Frienkenchu monster that ends up killing the towns’ people. And the wild Ponyta was a good indication of that. Taking the Pokeballs off the machine Chris turned quickly to the human shriek coming from down the hallway. “Aww crap….” Well looks like he got his wish. The doctor seemed to have gotten his just rewards for his actions. But that doesn’t make him feel any better. Actually with the hoof beats coming down the corridor Chris was beginning to feel a lot worse. Glancing around he noticed that there was no way out. He was trapped in the room with a supped up fire Pokemon. Not the best of situations. Room was too small for some of his larger Pokemon, and he couldn’t hope to fight against it with only one or two. They needed all the room they could get if they were to bring this Pokemon down safely. Pulling out two Pokeballs Chris went through his options. In normal circumstances he’d use Lapras to get her some experience and Wingull for mobility. But in an enclosed room they wouldn’t be able to fit or move around so well. Why did the doctor have to take him from the outside where he had the mobility? The man was a complete idiot. That limited his options, but Chris wasn’t about to give up and die. He had too much he still wanted to do. “Pichu, Houndour, and Meditite. Let’s stop this crazed Ponyta.” The three Pokemon appeared before him, ready to pick up where they left off. “Pichu, use Thunder Wave and Charm on Ponyta and then get out of the doorway quickly.” If they could paralyze the fire Pokemon and weaken the attack then they had a better chance of surviving. “Meditite I want you to use Mind Reader and Hidden Power. Make sure your attack hits and then do the same.” He was beginning to feel a little lucky that Meditite’s Hidden Power turned out to be a water type. “Houndour, I want you to act as the distraction. Use Roar to try and stop it in its tracks, and then nip at his hooves and run out of the corridor. Keep him distracted from behind and try to get him to follow you outside.” If they could get the crazy Pokemon outside then they would have a better chance of wearing it down. |

Millenia Town - Unknown Lab Early Evening Breezy I can't argue with your logic here - Dr. Giuseppe Rossi was a brilliant idiot. After all, someone who wasn't an idiot would still be alive right now, rather than being the result of an experiment to see whether human bones could withstand a Ponyta's hooves. I had a hypothesis about that little trial, and it seems like I've been proven right - either that or our deceased scientist was made out of glue and the used crisp packets he stored in his back pocket! Regardless, you now have an irate Fire Horse Pokémon staring at you, and it goes without saying that this place does not hold happy memories! Intriguingly, however, his first attack was not levelled at any of your Pokémon - instead, the angered and drugged up Ponyta directed his ire against the lab that had caused him such pain and suffering in the first place! Not sure whether this will be of any help to you, by the way, but I think your Meditite is showcasing the raw strength that typifies his species! An improved attack stat can't hurt, can it? Furthermore, it appeared as though your Fighting/Psychic type had his sights trained immediately upon your foe - as though he already knew what was about to happen next in the battlefield! As such, he was hardly surprised when Houndour attempted to force the Fire Horse Pokémon out into the open with a fearsome roar - which prompted the drugged up quadrupedal creature to bolt from the lab with extreme haste! Without any questions or any hesitance, your legs carried you away from this dingy and rather harrowing underground structure as quickly as they would go. You didn't even stop to see whether the scientist had any chance of surviving the terrible fate the had befallen him. Though of course, as you rightfully said - the good doctor deserves everything that came to him. Moments later, you and your trio of fighters glimpsed the skies above once more. You hadn't been down in the lab for long - the reddish skies that accompanied the early evening still remained above your head. Millenia Town - Town Centre Early Evening Breezy Despite being drugged and rather irate, there was an almost melancholic aura surrounding your Ponyta opponent. Maybe these were his true feelings? The man who had caused him such pain was dead - so did this helpless and suffering Fire Horse Pokémon merely wish for his torture to end? Being somewhat distracted with the realisation that overcame his psyche, your Pichu took advantage, sending forth a tiny spark of electricity towards your foe. The poor Ponyta's muscles instantly seized up, forcing him to slump to the ground. The poor thing was clearly distressed, and your Pichu's attack had only exacerbated the punishment he had already taken. Of course, considering that you were now attacking him, it was a distinct possibility that he would turn his attention to you in revenge for prolonging his suffering. Thankfully for you, however, the paralysis had taken hold of him - he wasn't going anywhere for the time being. With the Fire Horse Pokémon attempting to regain use of his legs, your Meditite emitted several waves of coloured energy towards the Ponyta - which notably caused a hefty amount of damage! I suppose the fact that your little yoga-posed Pokémon's Hidden Power is water-based in nature is a massive help in this battle - and naturally overcame the difference in strength between your team and that Fire Horse! Furthermore, your Pichu still had one further debilitating strike to deliver against this opponent of yours - another affliction to counteract the boost in strength that the junked-up Ponyta had received. I'm not sure quite how the Tiny Mouse Pokémon managed to show himself off to be more charming and cute, when he's pretty cute to begin with, but it seemed the allure of your Pichu's charm had debilitated the Fire Horse Pokémon once again! I'd wager that this battle is going in your favour now, Chris - let's deal with this drugged up creature and put this whole mess to bed once and for all!
