Sea Side Laboratories Deep under the warehouse that held the Sea Side Laboratories lay the hidden lab of Team Scion. Many men and women scurry about scribbling notes on papers held by clipboards, checking gauges on various machines, and conversing with one another on the spot and quickly hurrying away. The place was utter chaos and yet it was orderly, efficient, clean, and systematic. everyone knew exactly where to go, what to do, and how to do what they were doing. Above the lab in one of the observation huts, a woman was giving orders through a Microphone just as you walked in to check on your progress. Your charts and graphs that were needed were displayed on the glass of the observation hut like an LCD screen. Below lay the massive hulk that was the Great Genbu. Wires and tubes rand all over its body. Various tests were being held to discover what made it as it is. To the left of the Great Genbu sat four large stasis tubes. Each held an egg that also was covered in wires. All was going according to plan. |

Staring out at the slumbering behemoth, I can't help but feel excited. Normally I'm cool and collected while studying my specimens but this was something else entirely. A rare find at that. This Genbu was one of a kind. It held a secret gene, a mutation that caused it to transform to the splendid creature laying on our laps. What a marvelous thing we acquired. "Samantha. Keep a close eye on the anesthetic levels. We don't want the poor thing going into cardiac arrest because we overdosed it on sleeping medicine." I gave my assistant a warm and gentle smile and she blushed nodding. "My, my. We certainly are lucky. Not only the mother, but four of her offspring. Lets also keep the eggs sedated so they cannot hatch just yet. We haven't extracted the Mutated Gene from the mother. Also arrange a system to track the other three Pokemon we require for our experiments please. The sooner we can get them, the more we can focus on our next project." Once again she nodded and this time spoke to me. "Yes doctor." "Good girl." I said before leaving the observation deck. Everything was Condition Green so far. The mother was sedated enough to keep her asleep while we examine her body to single out the mutation. As I walked down the corridor I feel something brushing against my legs. "My dear James. Would you please not do that while I'm walking. Makes it hard to keep my balance you see." My Ditto slid up my pant leg and through my overcoat. He appeared infront of my face and changed part of his head to match the Genbu below, then changed into an Eevee's head. "Yes James. We'll soon be hunting for new prey soon. You'll get to play very soon." I patted the head of my Ditto and coaxed it out of my clothes. I continue down the corridor and swipe my card key through the reader and open the door. Inside was a special tracking computer that I had built a few years back when I started Team Scion. The memories it brought back. I, owner and soul proprietor of Team Scion, have managed to assemble an elite team of the best minds in all of the Alternian Region. Two other teams became my rivals in a way. Darkfire who want to rule the world by force is more a financial rival as they own a company that runs very similar to mine. Team Econix, while they mainly oppose Darkfire, they have shown their defiance to my own causes on multiple occasions. Including my most recent. I still burned inside seeing that floozy Miranda flaunting herself as I attacked the Genbu and trapped the various trainers in multiple barriers so they couldn't interfere. But Miranda found a way to stop us from retrieving the Great Genbu right away. Luckily I thought ahead and had a few of my operatives sneak into the base camp of those excavating the Ruins the Genbu resided. Once that was done, procuring the Great Genbu was easy and now we are at where we are now. Alls well that ends well. I smile and start up the tracking system and put in the data for three specific Pokemon. Soon the machine comes to life and I watch as the screen flashes the images that I want to see. "Yes. Very soon the fun shall begin." |

Different graphs, maps, and charts appeared near three blacked outlines that appeared on the screen. Each one was a Pokemon that you have been searching for and finally with all the needed data, your search could start coming to an end. All it would take now is the location and time. Time needed to confront and capture each of the Pokemon. The first one's map stopped. The map was a very detailed map of Golderia. Seems like the first Pokemon that you needed appeared in Golderia. Quickly you pulled out your clipboard that rested on the side of the computer and started scribbling notes. As you did, the second image's map stopped. This time it was located in Shimo and Deramus. So there were two locations for this one. The third image finally stopped, but the map was blacked out. The blackened map means that either the satellites you installed weren't working properly, or that the Pokemon you were searching for couldn't be found with the satellites. This was not a pleasing result, but it wasn't a crippling set back. Two of the important ones were found. All you had to do now was walk out and search. |

My face wore a blank mask as the details appeared on the screen. Although both results were to my liking and dislike I portrayed no emotion a all. Lifting my clipboard, I jotted a few quick notes down and returned the clipboard to the desk. My hands moved across the LCD keyboard in front of me as I typed away altering the codes that were shown on the blue terminal screen. Soon the master heads up display changed from the poorly colored digital maps to actual satellite footage. Viewing the surrounding areas, I tried to narrow the search down, but it was in vain. My tracker already loss the genetic signals, but that wasn't an issue. I had the location of a wild Eevee and wild Castform. All I need to do now was sent out a few peons to go and search around for my prizes. Once I finished here I would aid them knowing they weren't capable of such tasks. Curious, I brought up Genbu's genetic schematic . This time I couldn't help but to smile. The greatest natural find in all of mankind has graciously fallen into my lap. I just need to find that one minuscule strand of DNA that caused such a beautiful mutation to occur and recreate it for my own personal use. So many possibilities would open with such a discovery. So many wants and desires to be fufilled. As I shut down the terminal and gazed at the main screen, my smile widened and an odd sound broke from my lips. Laughter was something contagious these days, but well worth it. I laughed out loud as all my plans were starting to come together. Reaching for the microphone within my coat, I tuned it to the base's PA system. "Attention all associates. All field operatives meet within the briefing hall in one hour. That is all." My cheery mood carried through the PA system along with my voice. Time to address the troops and get ready for the hunt. |
