~Merry-Go-Round~
|
His breath froze on the cold air as he stepped outside into the chill of Shimo city. Ah Shimo City, more of a town than a large bustling metropolis but thats why he came here. He didin't want to deal with the city anymore. Too crowded, too many sick, rich, degenerates to annoy him. The air was cleaner here even if it was cold and kinda snowy. His jacket kept him pretty warm and he was generally at ease with the cold so it wasn't like he was going to freeze to death here on the wonderous island of Byayuki. Shimo city had a pokemon gym but he wasn't strong enough for that yet. His next stop would be Zaroff Island once he caught a few pokemon and stocked up on pokeballs. Overall it was a good plan. His lips moved slightly but he didn't smile, not yet anyway. Not until Kamen, his ralts, joined his side with a yawn. "Morning sleepy" now he did grin a bit and chuckle. When he was with her and other pokemon were the only times he ever really showed signs of still having a core of happiness under the layers of dark and somber. Today... was a good day to get moving. They had spent enough time sight seeing yesterday and staying at an inn for more than three days was a little excessive. He needed to get moving and wanderer Alternia and see the world. Something caught his eye though, a shadow in the waning sunlight, it looked like a snover once he and Karmen (which he had scooped up much to her chagrin) had closed the distance. The snow crunched under his feet and he smiled. "Alright" he let Karmen down, "Lets battle it". Edited by Aeon, Jun 5 2010, 11:22 AM.

In My Little White Room Again
|
The snow continued to crunch and compress beneath your leather boots as you and your dear Karmen continued out into the dying day along the snow laden ground. Your life before had obviously been horrible, it was something that had gone to such miserable extents that it was unfathomable to the incompetent sheep that plague society today. But now you were finally able to start anew, in the lovely region of Alternia in a beautiful snow beset town with your dear little friend – a sweet little Ralts that had seen just as much hell as you had so early in her life. And so the two of you continued towards the mystical object off in the distance, sun waning in the sky, in hopes partaking in the old cliché of bonding-while-battling! How lovely~! Upon your approach, you could see that it was indeed a little Snover. The creature turned to you as his odd rooted ears picked up the clamor of your feet shifting through the thick snow, and narrowed his eyes. He seemed to sense the lust to fight in you and attempted to ward you off with a nasty glare, but his attack backfired when he saw your eyes: your jaded green orbs that reflected the horrors of your past. The Snover turned away, breaking off his stare, and then decided to focus on the little Ralts in your arms rather than you yourself. Perhaps he could sway you not to battle him if he scared your little friend? Well it was worth a try..the root creature began with Intimidate, and followed it up with a Leer. He refused to begin the fight (physically), probably because he had no interest in pitting his strength against your dear little Karmen –so he was trying to scare you off. Now Noah, will you decided to still go along with your original plan and battle the odd creature or perhaps change tactics and try to befriend it? It’s your new life, and it’s all up for you to decide~!

His jade orbs took on a dead sheen when he saw how the snover did not want to fight. While he had a want and desire to start to train Karmen if a pokemon did not wish to fit then he would oblige that wish and not fight them. However Noah did indeed want to expand his team, thus he would try to befriend the snover. When he reached the snover he glared down at him and nudged him with his foot lightly. "Oi, you, you look pretty smart not to mess with us. With Karmen and mine's resolve we would have wasted you quick. So here's the deal, you want to get strong? Strong like us? Sure you do, its in your eyes. You want eyes like mine... eyes that down flinch. Join us, simple yeah?" he spoke in an even unagressive tone that spoke volumes about his personality. He could see the snover, deep down, was scared. He knew what fear was all to well. So he offered the little guy a way to erase his fear. Noah spoke again, "Think it over" before he sat down on the hard, frozen, snow covered ground as if the cold didn't bother him in the least. He let Karmen sit on his shoulders and he simply stared at the snover with his jade colored orbs. His eyes were boring into it's soul it seemed. Yet his eyes, for all the death in them, glimmered like gems. He would be a good trainer for the snover. Now it was only a matter of whether the snover would see the desire in Noah's eyes and if it too wanted to have desire as strong as he. |

The Snover looked up to you with his vine like arms crossed as his listened to you attempt and persuade him to join your small team. His eyes shifted down to the ground, watching his stubby feet as he kicked at the snow clumps that disrupted the uneven ground below. Your proposition did indeed seem interesting…but how could he trust you? For all the little tyke knew was that you could be some random trainer who just persuades others to join his team and then letting them live out the rest of their days rotting in a PC box…the Snover was very unsure about how to respond to your proposition. “Oh hey, girlie, there it is!” called a voice from behind. “Damn, it looks like we are not the only ones who spotted the little one...” A young man, probably in his early twenties, came over the small snow hills in your direction. He seemed to be dressed more elegantly than the others who were staying at the little cabin down the road, for he wore a lovely black turtleneck sweater that clung to his fit body nicely and posh looking snow pants. “Meooooooooow~!” cried the feline who had her body wrapped around her trainer’s neck and shoulders. The Glameow locked eyes onto you, and hissed as his trainer closed the distance between you and them. “Now now, Glameow.” said the trainer, reaching a hand up to stroke the felines neck affectionately. “Be nice to our friends.” The young man turned his attention from you and Karmen to the Snover who stood behind you, arms still crossed, but now an annoyed looked seemed to have washed across his face. Turning to you, the young man said in a soft and kind voice: “Excuse me; I see that you were trying to bond with that Snover…but I happened to see it before you had. I need to catch it so that I can give it to my girlfriend, her Meowth had just had kittens and their teething –they need something soft and chewy to play with.” He smiled and turned away from you, then pointed dramatically at the Snover who was becoming even more annoyed with his presence –oh if only he knew what the man was planning on doing with him… Glameow jumped off of her trainers shoulder and landed onto the snow padded ground on all fours. The prissy feline flexed his classy, sinuous tail in the cold air as he locked eyes with the Snover and then hissed at him. Now Noah, would you really allow something like those two interfere with your little friend? Perhaps persuading the trainer to fight you instead would prove to the little one that you indeed did have amazing strength -that you were someone who the Snover would want to join....

As soon as Noah saw the man his gut reaction was to punch him. Rich people, they were all scum. There were no exceptions to this rule in Noah's mind and when the man spoke of his intent, well, Noah DID punch him, rich on the chin. A heavy knuckled punch that with rattle him but not enough to do any lasting damage. To add insult he spat on the man's face. "Rich people, you're all worthless trash. Like your money and your greed gives you any right to treat people like garbage. Let me tell you something... you rich people... all you're worth is mud, mud and dirt" he stood deffiantly between the snover and the glamemeow. Karmen jumped of his shoulder and from under her bangs you could see the jagged scar that went across both eyes in a horizontal fashion. She looked just as pissed as Noah. Ralts were able to pick up emotion and Noah's anger was visibile to her. Noah spoke again with venom and acid in his voice and in his words. "Get lost, get lost you useless husk of a human being... no... calling you a human being is an insult to humans. You're scum, the stuff I kick off my boots. Nothing but worthless trash meant to be burned. You want this snover so bad? Too bad. He's under my protection and I'll have you know I have ties to the wonderful law enforcement people back in Golderia City. Saying you were going to hurt this pokemon was your act of incrimination. So get lost, I don't want to see your face again!" his anger was rightous and well placed. The treatment he had gone through made him hate all rich people. They were nothing but a cancer in the world. A festid tumor meant to be cut out and removed. If this guy ran now Noah would give him reprieve but if he stayed, Noah would choke him with his own two hands just enough to cause him to pass out but not enough to kill. Noah never killed anyone or anything. He made a policy that killing was just as bad as what the richies put him through. They'd get there's from the law, he didn't need to take capital punishment into the mix. "Go" he said with finality to the man. |

Well I most defiantly understand why you punched the opulent young man, but in the end it most certainly wasn’t the best thing to do. He flailed backwards a little bit after the swift strike to the jaw for he was caught totally off guard; he probably thought that with his “friendly” approach that you would just simply leave the Snover for him to reap. Once he regained his footing he turned to face you again, but this time his face was tinted with a ravaged shade of red. The Glameow hissed as you intercepted the potential battle between him and the Snover and then began to brandish his claws against the snow at your feet, trying to intimidate you from taking another step closer to his master. Unfortunately though, your threats and degrading words had gone unheard, for the young man was consumed with fury. “Kyle!” cried a voice from over the horizon. A young woman, about the same age as the young man, scampered over the snow laden ground filling the twilight with the sound of the snow crunching beneath her boots. Upon further inspection, you could see a Meowth clinging to the young woman’s shoulders –the exact same one that the young man was previously talking about. The feline hopped off her trainers shoulders once they arrived and rushed over to greet her mate, Glameow. The young woman hugged the presumed “Kyle” tightly, and then listened intently to the words that he had begun to whisper to her –probably informing her of the situation. “The hell is your problem you little shit?” spat the young man after the two had finished conversing with a dramatic point of his index finger. The woman nodded, and locked her arms around her boyfriend and snapped at you as well. “Why would you hurt Kyle, he did nothing to you or your little..little..Ralts.” The woman seemed to be shocked by the odd deformity on the small and normally cute little creature, but rather than being overcome with feelings of sympathy for the little one she was surmounted by the distaste she felt for its odd complexion. “What did you do the poor thing?” she questioned “Its hideous!” Before you could reply though, Kyle broke into the conversation once more. “Alright punk, you want a fight then well hell you’ll have one! Glameow, Meowth, take your stances!” Hmm, this seems a little unfair does it not? Two luxuriant felines versus one small, tiny, little Ralts? Well luckily for you, your karma had started to kick in. The Snover stood out before you, holding out his two arms in a protective manner as he grumbled at the two felines. He turned his head down to look at Karmen, nodded, and then cast a glance over to you –he was willing to obey you for this battle. The sky overhead continued to darken, for the creatures ability was beginning to take effect; Snow Warning. You could begin to see small pellets of ice fall from the sky, but it did not seem to faze the rich couple at all. Perhaps this would be the thing, to successfully show him your strength as a trainer, and thus determine whether or not he will decide to join you….
