That was a really sad story. I kinda feel bad for your family. Perhaps, one day you'll be able to reunite with them. Anyway, you were walking upon the grassy ground of Route 1, but then you heard a little tune. "Mary had a little lamb, little lamb, little lamb, Mary had a little lamb, whose fleece was white as snow. And everywhere that Mary went, Mary went, Mary went, and everywhere that Mary went, the lamb was sure to go." Next thing you knew, you saw a little girl standing in front of a group of Mareeps and Flaffys. I guess she must be a local sheep herder. "Oh look, Daisy," the girl named Mary said, "i spy a lost sheep. You should try to befriend it, Daisy." Who was Daisy? You watched silently as a pink and white Flaaffy started to jog towards your way. It towered over you, scanning your entire body. "Hello, my dear. Do not be alarmed. My name is Sister Daisy," said Daisy the Flaaffy, "we are all a part of the Sisterhood of Devoted Mareeps. You may be a boy, but we will gladly take you in." So, Sparky, would you like to join the Sisterhood of Devoted Mareeps? Potential Allies: Lv. 15 (Daisy) Lv. ? (Number unknown) Lv. ? (Number unknown)Edited by Sora, Apr 4 2010, 11:50 PM.

Sparky was frolicking down Route 1 when he noticed a couple Flaaffy and a Mareep in the distance. As he came closer, he could hear one of them talking to a 'Daisy' telling her that she should befriend him. Sparky smiled and figured it was a nice gesture when she came over to talk with him. 'Sister Daisy' as she called herself, made Sparky laugh a bit. "Haha, well, if it's called the 'Sisterhood of Devoted Mareeps' than why are you, a Flaaffy, in it? And why are you asking me, obviously a male Mareep, to join up? What do you guys do anyways? Like, how are you devoted Mareeps or whatever? I'm just a traveler, so I like to go from place to place and visit things. But, I wouldn't mind making friends with you guys, I don't know how inclined I'll be to join though, give me a little time to think it through." he said smiling. He was up for almost anything, he did have a plan to keep to however, finding his father was the most important thing on his mind as of now. But he was always willing to make friends whenever he could. He jumped onto his hind legs as he spoke with the Flaaffy. He was so excited to have some kind beings around him, even if they didn't know what his history was filled with. The terror of his past would never creep to his present he hoped. He then looked passed Daisy to the others a bit farther away. He smiled at them and gave a little wave with his paw. Then he turned his attention back to Daisy and gave her a half smile as though to say, "I am glad you're here". He then decided to follow Daisy back to the pack in hopes of making more new friends. |

Following your new friends back to their herd of mareeps, you were hoping to make some new friends. The other mareeps looked at you and crowded around you when you arrived. Most of them had the usual questions to ask a wandering pokemon. Questions like "Who are you?", "Where did you come from?, and "Where are you going?" where the most common. Curious bunch wouldn't you think, but then again they were a herd being herded by a herdsperson in a herding area. So seeing a wild mareep would be an interesting experience for them. Of course Mary their herdsperson noticed how much her mareeps and Flaaffy liked you and walked up to you. "Aren't you one of the sweetest pokemon. Unlike that vile caterpie that's been tormenting my poor Mareeps." She said giving you a soft pat on the head, and then returning to to her sit to watch her mareeps. Wait what was this about a vile caterpie? How could a caterpie torment a group of mareeps and flaaffy's? String shooting their feet? I think not, but anyhow I'm sure that you'd never meet up with such a caterpie anytime soon. "Don't worry she pats everyone she likes on the head. And yes we've been having some trouble with a caterpie lately." Daisy said. "Anyhow there's Peach, Mario, Luigi, Bowser, and Pauline." Daisy said point to the owners of each name. Now isn't this interesting, you seem to have stumbled into a herd of mareeps with a caterpie problem. What shall happen now, you have a herd of fellow mareeps and flaaffy's with a caterpie problem, and you have little to no information on where to find your father. But on the bright side of things the herd and their herdsperson seemed friendly, and the area looked good for some grazing. |

"You guys have a Caterpie problem? How bad can it be? If you need any help. I am sure I can help you. Just tell me what to do, you guys have been pretty kind to me so far, I mean, why not give back, right?" he said smiling. He was quite unsure of how to play this out, be a concerned Mareep just like them, or play it off that he was so much stronger. It seemed as though his first sentence to these people that it was going to be the latter, even though most of these Pokemon around him were twice as strong as he was, he was willing to give anything a shot. The little Mareep had no idea how a Caterpie could cause such problems for a bunch of Flaaffy and Mareep. Was it just one Caterpie? By the sound of it, it seemed as though it was, but how bad could it be? All the Caterpie that Sparky had ever met were harmless, how could this one be so much different? It just didn't seem possible. Sparky shrugged and just waited for a response from anyone of them. There were quite a few of them anyway, so if they could all band together, this Caterpie didn't stand a chance. He was ready for almost anything. He wasn't going to give up on his newfound 'friends' even if they did seem to be a bit pansy-ish. |

“Yes we have a Caterpie problem. It’s horrible the Caterpie uses string shot to tie up our feet, mess up our wool, and to mess up our food sources. Well it’s not as bad as it may sound, but it does pose problems because no matter where we go, the Caterpie seems to know where we’re going.” Daisy said with a sad grin. “Yes we’d like some help, if you can convince the Caterpie to leave us alone, that’d be great. He seems to stay in or near the forest near here. He seems to only bother Mareep’s, and similar Pokémon.” Daisy said looking rather surprised, and pleased. Interesting isn’t it, a Caterpie being a relative pain in the rear. Playing it like you were stronger, was an interesting thing to do. Considering that the Mareep’s and the Flaffy’s were stronger than you, but wouldn’t that make the Caterpie just as strong? But helping out new friends seemed to be a good thing, besides who knows what you could get out of it. Like maybe some information, allies, or maybe even some more berries. From the information you were receiving it sounded like the work of a single Caterpie. It was different because it was picking on other Pokémon, which made the impossible into the possible. The Mareep’s and Flaaffy’s banding together to fight a Caterpie? A brilliant idea for defeating an easily beatable bug Pokémon. You may be ready for anything, but the other Mareep’s and Flaaffy’s seemed to be more interested in eating, playing, and listening to their herdsperson telling nursery rhymes. “Enough about Caterpie. There are other things to do then him, like playing tag and eating the wonderful grass and berries around here.” Daisy said, and other Pokémon nodded in agreement. “And what about you stranger, going anywhere special next? You must’ve seen some interesting things during your travel.” Asked Peach the other Flaaffy next to Daisy. Interesting, these Pokémon are docile and seem more interested in playing and eating then getting rid of a Caterpie. But that’s how life worked doesn’t it? And their natural curiosity is showing with their questions. And now begs the question of what you’re going to do. Which is simple considering you really haven’t agreed to anything yet. You can stay here play and frolic with the other Mareep’s and Flaffy’s. You could also move on after staying awhile, and continue your search of your missing family members. Or you could be the noble Mareep and hunt down the vile Caterpie and bring and end to his reign of mischief on this herd. The choice is yours; I’m not going to stand in your way. (This was a fun ref… and no this isn’t a plot really.) |

Sparky smiled and figured that the other Mareeps weren't going to do anything, and he knew how much it sucked when he got things stuck in his wool. He wasn't about to let a mean Caterpie get away with all of this mischief. He was going to put a stop to it for sure. He then said, "Well, I will definitely help you guys. You have fun, I'll search for the Caterpie." As he watched Daisy and the rest of the gang go about frolicking about with each other, Sparky smiled and started to run off into the distance, looking for this evil Caterpie. He thought about the different things he could say. But then again, if he was really as mean as these other Mareep and Flaaffy had said, than he was going to have to actually battle this man. Another thought crossed his mind as he was walking into the nearby forest, what if he actually made friends with him, or what if he was actually going to be making friends with the other Mareep and Flaaffy. For all he knew, anything could happen. |

"Oh, really? You mean, like, you don't wanna play?" a young Mareep piped up, glancing at you with a slightly worried face, "If you're gonna go out all alone like that ... like, I mean, won't you get lonely? Or like, get scared? Or lost?" It seemed that you hadn't noticed this particular Pokemon before; she was kind of meek and small, and not as ditsy as the rest of the group. Or well, perhaps she was ... just she isn't showing it right now. Anyway! The sheep Pokemon walked over to you, but you were quick on your feet. Without a word, you had left the confines of their territory. The young Mareep that had approached you turned around to get a good look at her companions. They had turned to grass and started to graze on them while others simply decided to look for some other ... recreational activity. Hmm. Gritting her teeth as she closed her eyes, the Pokemon mustered up the courage to chase after you. And she did, holding in a scream as she dashed after you madly. Meanwhile, you were looking for the Caterpie. The Caterpie was a nasty little fellow, leaving holes in leaves and several other Pokemon as well. You saw several Oddish nursing the leaves upon their head - there were punctures in them, similar to those that happened when worms chose to munch on leaves. Naturally, you proceeded to wonder what in the world was that worm doing with this kind of aftermath ... but those Oddish probably weren't your concern. You could ask them what the heck happened to them, though I don't think they are going to be responsive. After all, they look pretty hurt and you butting into their matters, well ... could result you in being headbutted. (Ow.) Either way, you soon heard a yell coming from somewhere behind you. "Aaaaaaaahhhh! Get outta meeeeeeeeeee! You buuuuuuuuuug!" It wasn't a pained cry, but instead, more like a cry from someone being bugged. In this case, literally bugged. Was it that Caterpie? But before you think about this, think about where you've heard that voice before instead. Was it that Mareep from before? (Cue music here.) Well, it was. And it sounded like she needed some help with ... um, bug infestation? I'm not quite sure how to put it, but it should be something like that. Let's hope this doesn't leave you with nothing if the bug turns out to not be that Caterpie. Level 3[Bug (Caterpie?) in wool] |

Sparky instantaneously leapt around, looking to see that the screech was coming from the little Mareep from before. The timid Mareep seemed quite scared, and Sparky was quite interested to see what exactly was bugging her. Hopefully it was the Caterpie that was causing so much trouble from the beginning. He ran back to see what was wrong. "Oh my! What's wrong? Is it the Caterpie? Where is he?" he asked, watching his fellow Mareep jump about and scream a little more. Sparky just stood back, eyes widened and watching out for this little problematic bug. He was sure he wanted to battle it, make it stop hurting all of the other people within Route 1. He was sure of it. He wanted to make this guy pay for all of the bad things he had done to all the other Pokemon in the area. He wasn't going to get off the hook quite this easy. Sparky would force the bug to stop, even if he had to take some measures outside of just talking or battling him. He was tired of looking at the distraught faces that this Caterpie brought upon the rest of his kind, and other Pokemon in the surrounding areas. Sparky wouldn't give up. |

"I, like, don't knooooooooooow ..." the little Mareep moaned as you trotted over to get a good look at her. Yikes! You quickly drew back, tail straight as you saw what was literally bugging the sheep Pokemon. It was a Weedle; not the Caterpie you were looking for, but a bug-type all the same. Maybe you could beat it up so you could get information on the green bug; I don't know. Or you could make peace and help the Mareep. I'm sure the Weedle didn't want to get stuck in that thick mane of wool either. The Mareep glanced at you. "I'm Petal ..." she said softly, "And there's, like, a bug in my woooooooool!" She stamped on the ground, the bug squirming around within her fleece. She couldn't roll on the ground as there was the risk of the Weedle's poisonous horn and pincers piercing her tender skin; she could be poisoned then. And she didn't want that, especially after she took the trouble to run after the other Mareep that wished to help her flock ... gee, doesn't that sound like you? "Oh, I'm stuck," said the Weedle in a monotone. He glanced at you, wriggling slightly so that he could get a good look at you through all that beige-colored wool. "I am stuck," he repeated in that same monotonous voice. It was like he was slightly bored ... if not on the verge of knocking out Petal so that he could escape from the clutches of doom. Okay, not really doom, but he could suffocate. (Weedle pouted in apparent thought.) Oh, young Mareep hero who decided to get himself to save the flock from being - "Heeeeeeeeeey! Like, stop that! Ow. Ooooowwww. Oooooooowwww!!" - ... to save Petal from being stabbed to death by the irritated, monotone-using Weedle. We'll continue with that slightly more epic, if not cheesy statement after you save the damsel ... uh, sheep in distress from a toxic death. "Okay, calm down, both of you. I'll get you out, but Petal, you have to stop moving. We're going to have to clip some of the wool away. Weedle, I need you to use your horn, instead of jabbing it into Petal, use it to cut some of the excess fur around where you're stuck. Petal, you have to stop moving, just lie down and stay there for a bit, we'll have this problem gone in no time at all." he said. Sparky looked at the problem and twisted his head, wondering what exactly he could do to help this situation. He pulled and tugged a little on Petal's fur trying to push some of the fur aside to allow the Weedle to breathe comfortably. He bit down on the wool and pulled pieces of it apart slowly, as to not pull it out or anger the little Weedle anymore. He stood there and rustled through the fur a bit more before returning to his previous spot. "Alright Weedle, just use your horn to cut through the last few spots now. You're pretty much free, I think...I tried to move the fur away from you, so you could have more body movement." he said smiling. He then ran around to the other side of Petal and put his paws up onto her back, as to keep her down while the Weedle tried to free himself further. "Hey Weedle, I do have a question while you're getting out of there, do you know of this disruptive Caterpie that has been terrorizing the other residents in the area? If so, where can I find it? I need to tell him to stop." he concluded. He wasn't too excited about having to tell this Caterpie to stop, but he did want to help out his new friends. So, that's what he would do. He smiled and awaited for the time that Weedle was fully out of poor Petal's fur. |

It seemed to have gotten a lot darker in such a quick time. It was like something was blocking out the sun. The Weedle had managed to free itself from the clutches of Mareep's wool and busily squirmed off after a quick thank you. As the Mareep frolicked in happiness you heard a scream that echoed throughout the Route. Turning you saw what appeared to be a 100 foot Caterpie. Well maybe not a 100 foot but it was pretty damn big. Almost as big as an Aggron. What the hell could have made a bug like that so big. A Flaafy ran up to you pointed at the thing and shouted. "GODZILLLAAA!!" Then ran off...just kidding. The Flaafy briefly explained that that Caterpie was the cause of their annoyance. I suppose that makes more sense as to why they were being tormented. Still it was just a Caterpie...only bigger. I'm sure it couldn't pose that much of a threat...could it? Anyway the Mareep and Flaafy were starting to run back to their pens. You had decisions to make now. Join them? Leave them? Fight the Caterpie? Reason with the Caterpie? Or join the Caterpie?
