::Shimo City .:Outside the hospital Jem gave you another varied look, containing a mixture of emotions. Jem wasn't enjoying taking your commands but he accepted that you did have a point her. Two of his attacks were completely useless. Sighing he wished you'd read his attack list better on that thing strapped to your wrist. He knew a way he could get the fish to succumb to his Scratch attack. But, seeing as you didn't order it, he would spite you by not using it. He stood ready to dodge whatever came his way from the Mortpoi, stalling his attacks again. Mortpoi gazed at Jem wondering why the stupid Pokemon never attacked first. Not really caring why the fish fired some more Water Gun's his way. He fired all three one after the other, creating a continuous stream of water. Jem rolled out of the way of the first one but the Mortpoi cleverly swung the jet around. Instead of firing where Jem was he aimed it to where he would be. Jem not noticing rolled directly into the stream of water, taking the damage from two of the Water Guns. He panted from the effort of staying conscious, that last attack had taken its toll on Jem. Annoyed at this he turned with vengeance in his eyes towards the flying fish. His eyes glowing he fired off three Night Shades in a row at the stupid fish. All three hit the flying fish and it collapsed to the ground with the pain of it. It lay there for a few seconds before recovering and returning to its hovering in the air. Jem stared at the fish and waited patiently for your orders. Now only taking them to mock you. Graham meanwhile had run off into the surrounding shrubbery. He began his hunt for an item to bring back to you. Maybe he would find a Potion or if you were lucky a Nugget or probably nothing at all. Well he had until the battle was over to keep searching so that's what he would do. Well the battle had turned your way. If you wanted to catch the Mortpoi now was the time. Jem though looked ready to kill it. Well it was your choice. What would you do... Battle Conditions

I peered over at Jem and tilted my head, trying to figure out what that look was supposed to mean. Clueless, and deaf to the meanings of a pokemon's body language and vocalities, I found myself looking over the battle, curious. The way things were looking, neither would last another turn, and after trying to puzzle out why Jem hadn't tried to move faster, I did some research. It wasn't hard.. And it wasn't long, before the Poketch would turn up results, announcing that Sableye were useless that way, but by no fault of their own. Seemed there was some inherent ability causing asspains. I sighed, and looked between the two again, biting my thumbnail for a moment before I sent the hand owning that thumbnail into my pocket to retrieve an empty pokeball. I took a slow step forward and paused a moment. "Uh... hey, Jem?" I asked, waiting for the ghost to turn around before throwing the pokeball at the fish. "Y'done good... Both of you." I smiled, watching the pokeball fly through the air in hopes it had some form of aim guiding it... Despite being unconvinced by a deep history of poor aim and the fact I was fresh from the hospital. "But it's time for a break." |

Overlord of Trains - GRUNTY GRUNTY GRUNTY GRUNTY
|
~Shimo City~ .:Outside the Hospital:. Getting into a fight fresh out of the hospital is never a good idea, unless you're not the one fighting. Jem was somewhat low in strength, but otherwise didn't have a lack of energy. Of course, it wasn't as bad, as Mortpoi was almost down for the count, even if it wasn't very exhausted. Choosing the wiser option of trying to catch it, you threw the Pokeball at it, as the ball flew through the air. You seemed a bit hesitant in your aim, however, luckily for you the power of luck was on your side. The ball arced down, hitting Mortpoi. The Pokeball opened up, enveloping Mortpoi in a red light before sucking him in. The Pokeball landed, softly bouncing a couple inches a few times. It lightly shook back and forth, as Mortpoi was definitely fighting. However, it quickly let out a click, as Mortpoi couldn't resist any longer. The battle was complete, and with a win on Jem's part! He had gotten stronger, and to top it off, you obtained a new Pokemon! It's up to you if you'd want to use it or not, but either way, you caught it. What was next? Jem and the Mortpoi you had captured were both incredibly weak, it'd probably be a good idea to go to the Pokemon Center. Along with that, if you had any plans of meeting back up with him, you could look for Augustus. Who knows, maybe he's at the Pokemon Center? It'd probably be a good idea to get inside for a little bit, since even if you had woken up from the hospital, considering your reasons for being in, remaining out in the cold for too long right now could hurt you.

I stared at the ball for a slow minute, it took that long for the idea of success to sink in. I gave a soft shiver and imagined the cold must be getting to me. It wasn't like my wardrobe was designed for cold weather, anyways. I pulled my backpack off my shoulders and threw Jem a little pouch of pokefood, pulling out the blanket I'd been given and finding some place to wait. Jem caught the packet and stared at it, then up at me, as if to say 'I'm not eating this collossal crap!' Which is probably what was voiced in that little namequote he followed the look with. "Oh, grow up. It's all I've got right now. I'll get something better when I have money, okay?" The sableye humphed and floated up to a low tree branch to nibble at the pokemon food, feigning ignorance to the rest of us. I waited patiently, after collecting the pokeball and smiling at the fish's pokeball before stuffing it with the other pokeballs. While waiting, I hummed some little lullaby I barely remembered. Jem glanced down from his branch, unseen to my eyes, tilting the brow above one of his little gem eyes. After a moment, he flipped over from the treebranch and held out the bag to the trainer, who stared at it, and then at Jem, the lullaby ended for the moment. The bag still had some small bits of kibble in it, and after a slow moment, the pale hand reached into the bag. ~Aww, the strange ghosty has a soul!~ The little tapir cooed, appearing in a flash from her pokeball and startling the cold little vagabond, before curling up in her lap, making sure to do it softly. ~Be careful, little ghosty. Someone might see.~ The tapir's eyes narrowed in a most teasing nature as she recieved a deep embrace from the shivering trainer, taking a moment away from her taunting to pull the blanket tighter around herself and the little trainer chattering her name away. ~It really is a shame their vocal skills are so shitty, isn't it? But at least the minds are easily-accessible.~ The sableye glared at the tapir before curling back onto his branch and ignoring the pig-like beast. ~What are we waiting on? This human's already in rough shape...~ "That stupid rat-beast. The idiot human sent her off to find something nameless. Humans really are such fools. Why do you bother?" ~That's certainly not the wisest decision she could have made.~ The tapir said, facing the trainer again and dragging her trunk against the human's cheek, questing for an aswer to a question in a language either would not understand at some juncture. With no response, she sighed and returned to peering about, waiting for the raccoon's return. "I guess..." He started, shrugging, and grinning down at the little pink blob. "Because she's a stupid human." He crossed his eyes for emphasis, but shuddered when the form of the little coon slipped through his, glaring down at the raccoon as she curled up on top of the tapir, under her trainer's chin softly. "Don't do that, you freaky little human-sympathist!" He snarled. She ignored him, while she let the guitarist run her fingers through the jagged-patterned fur, grinning softly as the pair snuggled. "Thank Fwol, Graham! Let's get out of this fegging cold!!" The human snarled, all 'Terin's to most of the pokemon. As she made for the center, Jem glaring, but in tow, she curled her arms around the tapir for warmth, retaining the blanket-jacket, under which the coon happily hid as a boa. "Oh, you find anything, Graham?" I asked, holding out my arm for retrieval of any objects the rodent might have found. |

Derping... All Day, Every Day!
|
Shimo City... ...Wandering Around After getting everything done around the hospital, it was time to move around. One of the first things that came to mind was the Pokemon Center, and as it seemed a storm might be approaching. Making your way, the Zigzagoon came up running, where you extended your hand asking if it found anything. In fact, it did and was carrying something in its mouth that seemed a white color, nearly blending in with the snow's ice crystals. As the little 'coon moved his face to nuzzle with your hand, you got a short glimpse of it. In the snow, a sudden drop of red stood out like shade on a really hot, scorching day. You probably wouldn't question it at first, but as a light weighted object hit your cuffed hand, things changed. Examining it further, you noticed it had been a thumb. Yes, a thumb. It looked rough, maybe a man's thumb, and a drop or two of blood trickled down the side of your pinky, falling into the snow to scatter throughout the crystals. As that all happened, and whether you threw it down or not, a mist of sorts started to role in. Of course, with it came cold winds, where once in a while they whipped past you nearly making you into a decoration in a giant freezer. Abruptly, a man's voice was muffled through the snowy mist coming behind you. Your view was shot; the snow and mist together made it nearly impossible to see, but suddenly a silhouette came through faintly. It seemed to be a man, maybe even a guy in a suit. As he got closer and closer, his voice sounded more and more frantic. You made out the words "Help!" and "Get to the Pokemon Center!" before the silhouette seemed to drop. As it did, it skidded, coming into view a little better. On the back of this figure seemed to be flapping creatures, and two of what looked to be only three popped off and came at you. Before you knew it, you had a body and three pokemon, two attacking you. As they got close, you noticed they were Zubats. These weren't regular pokemon; regular pokemon don't go blood thirsty. A mystery that might be too scary to solve as the blood dripped wildly from their mouths, and they snarled at you and screeched, ready to suck out some of your own liquids. An inescapable battle, one that you would be most fortunate to win and save yourself. ![]() Lv.9 Lv.8I hope you liked this first ref; there is much to go. |

I flinched away as the man fell to the ground, staring at the zubat with some mixture of reverence and fear. Mostly, just deciding I had to have one of the vicious bloodsuckers. I raised my poketch to scan the pokemon curiously, having fiddled with it some after those messages from my 'Mysterious Benefactor'. "Known Resistances to Grass, Bug, Fighting, and Poison type attacks... Known weaknesses to-..." I paused, a grin forming widely on my maw. "Jam, it's your game, here! Can you give me two sweeping Psywaves? Try to catch all three of them with both, if you think you can, hmm?" I patted the Munna with a smile, turning my eyes the Sableye's way. "Jem, would you play Guard Dog, please? They can't hit you... Not with the moves they should be using at those levels." The Sableye snarled at me, but found himself slowly putting himself closer to Graham and Jam and I, the thumb having found a place in the snow to tint it crimsony pink. I glanced sideways at Graham and smiled, where she perched on my shoulder. "If you get the chance, could you drop a couple Tail Whips, if it turns out it's needed? Try not to get in the way if you can help it. Psychic attacks apparently do a real number on Normal-type pokemon like yourself." There was a brief bit of conversation between the pokemon before the attacks would get underway. Jam verbally noted an obvious favoritism playing out here, and made a mental note in her own mind to go through mine while I was sleeping later. Jem snarled something about being somehow forced into behaviour, blaming it now on the Munna. Graham just nodded and nuzzled my cheek, explaining that she'd been my pokemon since very early on, due to similar life situations and after some trust gaining. (Btw, The Munna's name is Jam, the Sableye's name is Jem. For some reason, my profile's not been updated. Mebbe I could get you to? ^-^) |

Derping... All Day, Every Day!

Shimo City... ...Wandering Around The Zubat seemed to be able to find you perfectly, despite the snowy mist carrying in from howling winds at time. As the bats couldn't see, they had a general idea and sense to find its prey. Thus, Munna was fair game. While having a weakness to her, she had a weakness to them. It was going to be a little stand-off-ish the way things might play out. Though you had back up for these kinds of things. Though, Munna was the first to fire off an attack, had it not been that way things could be different. However, with the first Psywave, it seemed to hit the male bat head on, though the female took to her flank and flew over to attack Munna's side with a Leech Life—that one move that seems to be their favorite and of course super effective against you. A second Psywave fired, and it seemed to be gunning for the male, the strongest of the two in which taking it down was probably a priority. Though the Psywave move is one that fluxes a lot, and the first had done so good, though the second failed to match the same strength. It was unfortunate, though it was what it was. Munna tried hard this round. With the female at her flank, it was probable that it'd attack, though ignoring the defenses and resistance, it went in to attach on to Munna for a bite-like Strike, hanging over the side and trying to suck out Munna's pokemon blood. Having done so, it took a little additional health out. As much as a fighter as Munna might be, she almost couldn't shake the Zubat off, but in doing so she was vulnerable to the male Zubat's Leech Life, another super effective move. Seeing as how things went down, it was probably smart for the Zigzagoon to get in their early, in order to get things done incase Munna could not continue after the next round. She leaped off your shoulders, sloppily landing after trying not to clip you with nails. In the snow, she has a sort of camo to her, which she used perfectly to catch the Zubat's attention with some Tail Whips.

I growled and repeated my orders to Jam. "Two Psywaves. Watch your flank!" I barked, reaching through my bag again to call out the little sandshrew I'd gotten, staring at it for a moment as a single descriptive flitted accross my mind. "Cannon Fodder..." I muttered, smiling. "Oy, Fodder. Get after the bat still on the corpse, already. Hit it with a running strike and pin it to the ground." The sandshrew looked up at me timidly, eyes wide as though it wanted nothing more than a friend. "Shut up and do it, ground rat!" I snarled, balling my fist at it. It gave a squeak and shuffled off to do my bidding. "See about getting your teeth around it's neck to snap it!" I couldn't tell if the rodent would do as it was told or try to run away, or if it had even heard the order. "Graham! Pin the ZuSlut! SHe's getting in the way!" Graham chittered something at me that I didn't catch, and that the others would probably not repeat, either for age or manners. "If you get the chance... Go for the throat." Jem stared at me cock-eyed, trying to figure out where the ferocity had come from, and admitting to himself that... He kinda liked it. He was finding it an attractive trait in humans, and sneered at the little shrew, opting to keep his post on the branch for nothing better to do, picking at the crumbs remaining in his little bag of Pokemon Food. Jam peered over her shoulder at me just briefly, but turned back to the battle shortly after, glancing at the female before turning her attention back to the stronger of the two beasties. |

Derping... All Day, Every Day!

Shimo City... ...Wandering Around Your change of heart certainly concerned the team, and myself. From the point you're coming form, you could be the Zubat's trainer, and how they stuck for the dead body had become somewhat of your style. As you moved on with the battle at hand, however, you aimed to take all three Zubats down instead of the two that wanted you. Sticking to the one that wanted nothing to do with you was a bold move, trying to take down three enemies. Munna was having a little trouble with things, and as the female was on her flank, it had to be her first target. But the male was a little territorial, whereas he came at Munna with stunning speed. His glide was interrupted by the first of two Psywaves planned. It wasn't strong at all; hell, the Psywave attack was one of those 'chance' kind of moves. A second Psywave caught the male again, this time doing slightly more then the first. It wasn't your round with Munna, where she was struck with the male's Leech Life, but before he could get the full effects of it, the team backed him up. "Zubat!" They said, nearly as if singing. The Sandshrew snuck past the offensive bats and to the distracted bat on the body. When it was hit, it screeched (not the attack) but the other two seemed a little occupied. Of course, the female started getting attention as the Zigzagoon chased her down. Seeing his choice of things, the male went to help his companion that the mouse attacked. Together, they tried biting the poor thing. Instead only the male got to use a Strike, as the other did. The double teamed attack threw Sandshrew off balance and the bat got free. Now you had three angry bats instead of only two. But it wasn't over, the one female got in there and took another Strike on poor Sandshrew for pinning her. All the same, Zigzagoon had the other female pinned—the one flying to people's flanks—and was able to get her pinned. Though, they had to exchange Strikes before Zigzagoon won in strength, but for how long would it hold up?

I growled, harumphing and recalling the fainted Munna. My own shortsightedness seemed to have escaped me as I growled at the pink pokemon's ball, glaring up at the ghost above in the trees. "Well, get in there, you lout!" I growled, bringing up the attack lists again to make my commands. "Move faster, you yellow-brick-rat!" I snarled at the little sandshrew and his timid manner. "Pin the wings to the ground and snap a neck! Use... Ah! Bellyflop should be a good start. Your weight should be more than enough to hold it to the ground, and strike with your teeth once you've got it there. Hesitation will end you." I snarled, the glare in my eyes warning the rodent. The naiivety in not picking a target was, like the rest of my shortcomings today, lost on me. And the bipolarity didn't seem to bother me. Graham would recognize it, as well, as she'd seen it many times over the course of her stay in my care. "Graham, Hit 'em with a dual-growl and try to tackle one to the ground again." I looked up at the ghost as he stared at me, moving only after Graham gave a soft bark from her own place. "Jem, use a leer on whichever the other two don't touch and follow up with a scratch." I growled something about getting this all over with and glared at the bats. I pulled my guitar's strap from my shoulder in preparation to join the battle, probably next round. Shimo City... ...Wandering Around The way you spoke to Sandshrew got him alert, but almost too alert. It was to the point he nearly jumped off the Zubat to become attentive looking. While maintaining what little hold he had, he forced himself back on the Zubat with the move you had instrcted, Belly Flop. His weight was enough to over power the Zubat, landing more so on its head because of how the two were positioned. Biting it next was the only thing left, and to your surprise, the Zubat struck first, but received immediate attention from petite teeth, sinking into the neck and opening a minor wound. He had no power after everything to forcibly snap a neck. Luckily, the Zubat did not strike back at the mouse, but instead screeched out to alert her companions. Speaking of which, you were fighting with. Using Graham the Zigzagoon and Jem the Sableye. Their assault of status droppers went like this: Graham's double growl worked on each, as the bats were torn between finishing off the Sandshrew or attacking them. The Leer's worked perfectly too, having caught them with perfect timing. All of this startled them, having them become more alert. As the other female went for Sandshrew, she found herself being chased by an angry Zigzagoon. When the male got in the way, he was tackled instead. The female was able to reach the Sandshrew, giving it a strike to finish it off. At the male, the Sableye was seemingly going after the male, knowing he was the strongest. The one Zubat, the male, being held down was of no use. He couldn't attack with a Zigzagoon on him. He was in no position to even reached up with his petite neck and give a bite. You were in luck. And the other seemed distracted with her problems, and helped the other one up and out from under the slumped body of a defeated rat.

I growled at the proceedings, loud enough Graham could hear it, and realize that frustration was setting in with the creatures turning out to be somewhat 'useless', the way my mind was reading things. She decided to take this round into her own paws, another growl coursing from her throat at the incessant, winged rodents. She followed this with a drop of her weight against her pinioned target, much like the one the little sand mouse had given earlier. As I recalled the rat, I glared at the flying rodents. I noted Graham's eagerness to make herself useful and, with annoyance, the persistance of the Sableye's ability. "What is the POINT of your ability, huh?" I growled, then sighed, rolled my eyes, and pointed at the stronger zuslut. "Hit that one with a couple good scratches!" I barked, then, mildly hesitantly, reached down to my belt to acquire one of the balls waiting there: to call out the undead fish. A soft crawl tilted up along my muscles as the daunting, rotting figure of the fish made it's way to reality, but I worked to shake that off. "Alright, you. I know you and Jem are already a little beat, but we still need a hand, here." I was referring to their recent battle, of course, for which the pair still had not visited the Center. "If either of the Zusluts get too close to Graham, hit 'em with a good water gun to knock them away... And down, if you can." I looked over to Jem. "OI! If you can pin one, when you're done being a slow little assmunch, that'd be cool." I glared at the bats, thinking for a long moment. If they were this much trouble wild, and untrained... How much shit could I give little asswipes like that idiot richkid with them under my own thumb? A slow grin came over my maw and I hopped to poking through my stuff, staring in disbelief at the perfect count of pokeballs in my bag. "That's... Just a little bit ridiculous..." I muttered, and only grinned wider, picking them up from the bottom of my satchel. "But... Several levels of awesome, all the same, I guess." {Both Jem and the Mortpoi should be in less than perfect condition, I think, but I don't mind the assumed healing from the pokeball, if you don't wanna screw with rough calculations. Otherwise, my char would've used all 5 of her pokemon from the start, just 'cuz she's used to things not going her way. They were both down to the wire when their battle ended, but it's been a little while since the battle, maybe around a half-hour or so? I should have mentioned that when I sent Jem into the fight, probably. XD Sorries!} Edited by Flygonic Outlaw 101, Jul 5 2011, 09:20 PM.

Derping... All Day, Every Day!

Shimo City... ...Wandering Around This was a definite slow battle. Yet, you were down to nearly nothing as two of your pokemon were previously hurt. Though, they had recovered enough of their health being in the pokeballs. Every so often, they get a little health back and luckily, both Sableye and Mortpoi, healed half of their original health. While that seemed grand, it wasn't as lucky on the battle field. Graham the Zigzagoon had pinned the one Zubat down, and gave a growl at point blank. Stripping it of its attack power; but the growl made it squirm and became much too different to maintain. As it started to shake violently, the zigzagoon dropped its weight, but it didn't seem to be the full amount. That was mainly because the Zubat got free mere seconds before the attack and moved out of the way. Though, it was still a good attack. Sticking towards revenge, the Zubat went for Zigzagoon. Sure, the orders seemed to protect Graham, but there was nothing anyone could do with a point blank attack! It was a Leech Life, which healed Zubat a tiny bit. Damn Zusluts. Well, it wasn't totally bad because during the Leech Life, Mortpoi knocked it with a Water Gun, forcing it away and making it so if it does move towards the Zigzagoon they can try and prevent it. One was down, two more to go. The female that had been wounded, seemed a little more angrier and much more aggressive. But the other female didn't lack her own aggression. Both came in for you, and maybe Graham. Maybe even Mortpoi for fainting their ally. Either way, the Sableye seemed ready, and was able to scratch the lower levels female, once, before watching it get a Water Gun to the face. It was such a strong combo, fainting another Zubat in the same turn. But the other Zubat wasn't happy at all. It moved in, finding Sableye to be a target. As they exchanged blows, it seemed both were still in.

I harumphed at the proceeds of the battle, arms crossed and a grin stretching across my face. The fall of Graham's target found one of the pokeballs whizzing for the near-lifeless flesh and smacking the beast between it's ears. I didn't bother watching the ball rock, while I watched a second zubat felled, repeating the action. I also repeated the not-watching part of the equation. With only one left, my grin grew only more wicked. "Alright, everyone on that last bitch!" I snarled, repeating words that were getting old, adding a new twist for Graham. "Graham, I want you to pull a Belly Flop out of a Tail Whip." The coon stared at me for a moment and watched me twirl my finger pointed towards the ground softly before giving a hesitant nod, since the maneuver was an unpracticed one, but she felt she understood well enough, and pelted for the opponent, digging her foreclaws into the dirt in front of the bat to swing her tail around before leaping into the requested bellyflop. My intended effect included something along the lines of momentum adding to the power of the move. I glanced over at the Mortpoi. "You. Rotten fish... Use... Astonish, then Strike it with your tail, towards the ground." I hadn't devised a name for the ghostly aquatic yet, nor the proving-useless sandshrew. And my eyes turned now to the Sableye, up from the Poketch I had been staring at for the Fish's moveset. "If you're needed, rake your claws through a wing a couple times." I shrugged, still unused to ghost pokemon in general. The third pokeball, and the last I had, I held at the ready, eager to end this montage of obnoxious and return to the pokemon center with my catch and make my party more useful. The zubat seemed to work well as a unit, and I fully intended to use that to my advantage in the future. Besides, they had caused me enough trouble, it was time for sowing to be reaped, as I saw it. The moment the bat sunk towards the ground limp, or the one it tried to fly off, would be that one when the last pokeball would fly. |

In My Little White Room Again
|
Shimo City [Wandering Around] Graham cocked her head to the side, her big bulbous eyes glittering up to you as you threw out your final commands to your team. She nodded to herself and then picked herself up off of the ground and rose to all fours, lowering her head towards the ground, which was she began to growl towards the last remaining bat that fluttered over yonder. The little racoon like creature hissed again before she took off, her stubby legs keeping him low to the ground, while she closed the distance between herself and the bat. The little critter twirled her body around for a Tail Whip and then spun back around so that she was facing the bat again, still running, before throwing her entire body into the bat that was trying to keep up in the air. The attack caused the two of them to topple to the ground with Zubat beneath Zigzagoon as they hit the ground with a hard thud. Graham shook her body and backed away from the bat, her feet nimbly moving so that she could avoid any counter attack. Turning around she could see the bat pick itself up once again and slowly begin to rise into the air. Graham growled. The ghost fish Pokemon was the next to attack and he began to do so with his Astonish. He quickly disappeared from sight and reappeared quickly next to the target and slammed into the bat, causing it to nearly out fall out of the sky again, but then it managed to catch itself and begin to find some way to counter attack your Pokemon. But before she could do so the ghost fish whipped its body around and slammed his tail into the bat’s body, literally throwing it down and into the ground this time. A cloud of dirt poofed beneath its body when it hit the ground, for it had been knocked completely unconscious. Seeing his victory the rotten fish returned to your side besides Graham, who was looking at the bat curiously as if she still expected it to move. Just then though, before you could do anything, little Jem skipped away from your side and made his way to the bats that now littered the floor. He crouched besides them curiously and poked at them with a sharp finger, like a child poking at a dead animal with a stick, and he did so to each of them. When Jem had poked the last fainted bat and had gotten no response, he turned to you and smiled –his bright sharp teeth shining brightly against the dark tone of his body. His jeweled eyes seemed to sparkle with a bit of excitement as he took one last look at the fainted trio, but then he left them be and returned to your side like everyone else. As he was walking back though.. he stopped .. and had his eyes fixated on something behind you. The little creature cocked his head to the side, then to the other side, as he studied the form, until eventually he raised his boney arm and pointed at them behind you with his lanky fingers. If you were to turn around you would then see three police men approaching you, the one at point holding out a flashlight that was lighting their way through the darkness while the others kept their guns in their hands. They all had Pokeballs clipped to their waists besides the holster for their guns, but they seemed too bothered by whatever they were looking for to risk using them. That was when the officers light shined on you and then shined it down toward the trio of fainted Zubats. The light hitting their bodies provided a flood of adrenaline to shoot through their bodies, reviving them slightly from unconsciousness, and then all three of them jumped up into the air and screeched. “Holy hell!” yelled the officer as he followed them with his light, “everyone watch out!” But rather than attacking like the officers thought they would, the bats fled before you could capture them. They darted up through a crack in the ceiling and escaped from the light and into a lair of darkness, able to rest and regain their strength from losing that tough battle against you. The lead officer sighed and lowered his light back down to you, his face was pale with fear and his eyes were wide. He shook his head from side to side, trying to rid himself of the shivers that were trying to trickle down his spine. Looking back up to you he seemed to find the words on his tongue: “You there,” he began, “come on, follow us and we will lead you out of here and to the Pokemon Center.” They didn’t seem like there was anything shady about these men, so, would you follow?
