HELLOOO! And welcome to Zaroff Island! After you both received your new partners, you're ready to begin your journeys together. Embarking on your very own Pokemon Journey is very exciting, but it's also a big responsibility. You have to remember to take care of your friends and your Pokemon. And in this case, you might not know a whole lot about Pokemon. That's alright, you'll catch on eventually. Traveling with a friend can be a very great experience. You will both learn a lot from each other. Along the way you might not always agree on something, but in the end you'll find that getting your way isn't always the most important thing. So anyways, let's talk location. Zaroff Island is the one of the largest unexplored areas throughout Alternia. Unless you're very careful, Zaroff Island can be a very dangerous place. The chances of running into a wild Pokemon can be very high, so it's a great place to add additional members to your "squad". To the west is Adler's Puddle, probably a great place to catch some Water-Type Pokemon. And to the North is the Twin Peaks Mountains, a good place to test your Pokemon's skill. So, you have a choice. You can do anything you want, except kill someone. You can't kill someone...Just not right... You both walked the streets of Zaroff Island, following paths leading in the direction opposite of the research center. Step after step you took, feeling more confident every second. Then suddenly, something came from behind you (Saya) and knocked you over. After landing harshly on the ground, you looked up to find a small Corphish standing before you. Walking towards the Corphish were two young girls. One girl had a small Pidgey perched on her shoulder. The other girl looked at you and began to laugh. "Ha, what a loser. Nice shot, Corphish," she said. Ouch, how rude. "I'm Beth, this is my friend Suki. How 'bout a battle?" Well, if I were you, I'd battle these girls and show 'em who's boss. But, it's your choice. So....Go on now! Level 5 Level 5

Saya turned with a grin, watching as the Wooper slammed her little head against Katsu's Poke Ball, successfully allowing the man to capture her. "G'job, Katsu!" she laughed, slapping him on the back, in quite a good mood now that she had another Pokemon on her team. "We're really starting to get somewhere with this whole Trainer gig, huh?" Her PokeTech gave a few beeps, alerting her to the time of day and hour. Oh yes, she needed to buy a few more lottery tickets to try her luck with...it was always fun to do that. She had won successfully once before, and had chosen money to make her bank account a little more stable. She yawned, stretching her arms out straight as Shred chirped a few times by her feet. Squatting down, Saya picked up the little fire bird, glancing back at her human companion. "We should get going if we wanna get off this island before nightfall," she said simply to him, giving a nod. She started back toward the path, heading out of Addler's Puddle. "Hurry up before I leave ya behind~!" They walked in silence for a while, other than a few random, curious questions to one another or pointing things out, like that oddly-shaped rock on the side of the trail, and a couple of Hoothoot in a tree sleeping. Shred was fairly eager to face off against any Pokemon they might even see, but she kept him back, as they had a schedule to keep to. She would really prefer not having to walk through the forest at night. Sure enough, they soon made it to a safe location by late evening, when the sun was setting low on the horizon. "Aw, man..." she groaned at the sight of the ferry, which seemed quite...well, broken at the moment. Before she could even question what had happened, however, a woman walked up to both her and Katsu, offering them rides on a Lapras. "Uh.." she murmured, before glancing back at Katsu. Turning back to the woman with a grin, she nodded. "Sure! That'd be fantastic, actually." She set Shred down by her feet as she knelt down, removing her pack from her shoulder and setting it on the ground. She opened it, removing her wallet, and pulled out $50, handing it to the woman before her. "Do you have enough, or should I cover you?" Saya asked Katsu, picking Shred back up. If they were going out to sea, she'd need to recall him to his Poke Ball soon... |

Katsu gave a small grin as the Wooper accepted his offer, bringing him up to three Pokemon. His Shroomish, the Spearow, and now this Wooper. That took his types to a Grass type, a Flying/Normal type, and now a Water/Ground type. That was a pretty varied combination of Pokemon, as far as he thought, anyway. He wasn't really sure if there was a type that would be able to be able to cut through all of his- He paused, looking over his team. Well, an Ice type would certainly put a damper on his team, that was for sure. Which meant that he'd need something that could beat an Ice type. He'd go with a Rock type, but generally Ice and Water were closely enough related that it wouldn't take a whole lot to take down his Rock type... Breaking from his line of thought, he turned to Saya with a wide grin, the smile having faded when he'd gone into deep thought. "Yeh, we're gettin' somewhere, but not all that far enough, I don't think," he said with a slight shrug, looking down at his Shroomish, which was looking a little worn down. "But if we keep going at this pace, I think we might be getting somewhere soon," he said, nodding slightly before pulling the Pokeball that belonged to Shroomish before returning the little grass creature. It wouldn't do to make it walk while it was so wounded. As he saw her fiddling with her PokeTech, and he remembered that she'd shown him the other day how to get the lottery tickets. It wasn't that he was a very big gambler, but by that same token, there wasn't a reason not to buy them, really. Sure, if he lost then he was losing money, but if he won, then there were all kinds of neat prizes to win. He didn't know exactly what he'd get if he managed to win, but he knew it'd be good, and that was good enough for him. With a grunt afterwards, he followed along behind her, chatting about this and that, without anything really in particular. He made a few sly comments towards her, trying to work his charms a little, but he was rebuffed pretty soundly. She was almost more of a mentor and friend than she was someone for him to hit on, but as she was the only cute female around, it was hard to direct his attentions elsewhere. But he had far from given up; he'd continued to work on her and he'd get there, someday. Near the end of their little walk, which ended at the Ferry, the boat appeared to be...quite out of commission. He frowned, crossing his arms over his chest as he moved over to investigate the remains. He knew that there were some water pokemon that had no issue in crossing the water, and he wondered if perhaps his Wooper might be able to give it a go, or even Saya's Magikarp, but before he could really explore that possibility, a woman approached, offering them a ride on her Lapras. The man frowned at the...convenience of the situation. Though he had no reason to doubt the woman, it just seemed all too convenient that she'd managed to have a Lapras for them to ride just when they needed one? However, as Saya inquired about his funds, he shook his head. "Nah, I got it," he said, removing $50 from his wallet as well, handing it over to the woman, doing his best to hide his suspicion. He didn't know what she was doing...but he intended to be on his guard, both for his and Saya's sake. |

How fortunate of you to have found such generous people! The lady gladly took your money, and after counting it up properly, smiled widely at you. After a few awkward seconds she realized you were waiting to be escorted to the Lapras in question. She laughed a bit as you two eyed the belt of Pokeballs she had on. "Oh, no, our Lappy isn't in any of these Pokeballs. She's right here!" Before you could ask, she took out a Pokemon Egg from her backpack. "Yup, any day now she'll hatch. So if you just give us a few days, maybe a month, I'll have her ready to ferry you guys over!" Was she kidding? A few days? Maybe a month!? No way would you wait, not when there were several other option available. The lady saw the looks on your faces, looked disappointed, and returned your money. "Oh, I'm sorry. I know it's a while to wait, but I really need the money. But if y'all wanna get to the main island fast, that man over there offers free rides to Milenia. The only catch is you gotta ride with him in the boat." Whatever could that mea-OH GOOD LORD! You followed her gaze and saw the most repulsive man imaginable! You didn't seem to have any more options, other than wait the next month or so for the Lapras egg to hatch. The man saw you two and waved. He was standing next to a very poorly made sign saying "Free bowt rydz" which probably meant to say free boat rides. What would you do? What could you do? Wait for the Lapras egg to hatch, or go for the free ride with the gross looking man? Who knows, maybe he's not as bad as he looks. He certainly couldn't be worse. |

Katsu gave a sigh, placing his hand over his face as he let out a small grunt. He knew this was going to happen. Well, maybe not this exactly, but something to this effect. They'd get screwed out of their money, which would leave them high and dry, so to speak. It wasn't like they really had much of a choice but to wait on the Lapras. "This is just frickin'..." he muttered, before the woman returned their money, before pointing towards a boat nearby. As Katsu's eyes flickered over to him, he gave an unplanned cough, averting his eyes nearly immediately. "Ah...right...thank you..." the man murmured before he glanced back to Saya, who had taken to hiding behind him at the sight of the man. It wasn't that he was fully against going into the boat with him...he just wasn't certain if he'd be able to hold his lunch the entire length of the boat ride. Not to mention that his English skills seemed to be lacking as well, which meant that he probably wouldn't be all that good of conversation, either. "What do you think, Saya?" he asked her, his eyes flicking back towards the rather putrid individual in the boat. "Do we chance our fate...and our lunch, with this guy over here? Or do you think we could wait for the Lapras?" He frowned, looking away. "Don't get me wrong...but I don't think that I'd want to spend a boat ride with him," he said with a shrug, the words low under his breath. "But we don't exactly have a whole lot of options...what about your Magikarp?" he asked, before his hand went down to his own Wooper. |

Saya balked at the woman with the Lapras egg, and was just about to snap when her money was handed back to her, and she gave a weak sigh, re-pocketing the fifty dollars. "We appreciate the offer, but I'm afraid we'll have to pass," she said with a small smile to the woman, before taking a few steps back. When the woman gestured to quite possibly the most frightening man she had ever seen, Saya almost instantly moved behind Katsu, her green eyes wide with shock. Realizing her rudeness, she rubbed her arm, frowning a little as she stepped out from behind her human companion. Shred gave a little chirp at the man, having very little care about his appearance. "I can't wait that long!" she admonished Katsu, setting her hands on her hips, as if it was insulting for him to even suggest such a thing. "I think we can go with him. Maybe he's not such a bad guy!" She harrumphed, brushing some of her black hair over her shoulder, about to approach the man when her PokeTech suddenly began beeping loudly, and she glanced down to it, giving a small gasp. "I won!" she cheered, grinning as she looked back at Katsu, whose PokeTech had also given him the same notification. "I won in the lottery~~" She pressed a few buttons on her Tech, confirming a few entries and typing in some more numbers for the next lottery. She rubbed her chin, glancing back at the Research Center that she could barely see in the distance. "Let's head back and get my Electrike~" she asked Katsu with an impish grin, latching onto his arm. "Please? We'll let this guy know we're interested, but we'll be back in thirty minutes to an hour with two new Pokemon on our teams..." But before Katsu would have the chance to speak, she turned back to the man, giving a shy smile. She was still slightly intimidated by his appearance. "Uh...we are both interested in your boat rides," she said sweetly, giving a nod, "but we have a quick detour to make; we'll be back in a little more or less than an hour, okay?" She gave a tiny bow before taking a few steps back, moving over to Katsu and pulling on his arm, leading him whether he wanted to or not back toward the Research Center. Shred tailed along behind them, chirping. |

"What are you in such a rush for, cutie pie?" Katsu asked as he watched, her, raising an eyebrow at her antics of trying to get him to feel bad, or some such thing, about his wanting to either wait or find a different route. "But if you want to go on and go with this fellow, then I suppose we can. It's not like we've got another way off the island, anyway." As she began to celebrate about having won the lottery, he glanced down at his Poketech, which was also giving off alarms, bells and whistles and the whole shebang. He checked the Poketech, trying his best to figure it out when Saya began to pull at his arm. Hang on~" he spoke, trying to confirm his entry and say that he did in fact want the prize, as well as put in another set of numbers for the next drawing. He'd won once; who knew what would happen if he won again? Maybe he'd get a better prize than a...He paused, blinking. A Snorunt? Whatever that was. Then again, he wasn't really sure what a good prize was. Saya seemed pretty excited about her Electrike, so maybe he'd get one of those? Or something that was similar to that. He didn't know for sure, but he wasn't too thrilled about this Snorunt. "Alright, alright. Let's go," he said with a nod and a grin, turning towards the creepy-looking fellow in the boat. HOwever, before he'd had a chance to say anything, she'd already gone and announced their intentions to him. Not that he was exactly against it, but it just seemed like it really wasn't any of this fellow's business. But Saya was being Saya, and he wasn't going to tell her no, as he knew what that would entail. He walked in silence for a moment before he turned, glancing at her as they walked, nonchalantly putting a hand on the small of her back. "So what's a Snorunt?" he asked, looking a touch confused. |

They were nearing the Research Center when Katsu spoke, and she felt the press of his hand on the small of her back. She rose an eyebrow, a little unused to the feeling. What was he thinking? Sure, he was a flirt, she knew that, but that was a little too forward in her opinion. At his question, she chuckled, gracefully twirling her way out of his grasp as Shred chirped a little noisily, pecking at Katsu's heels, as if to scold him. "A Snorunt~" she said in a slight sing-song voice, putting her arm through his as they walked along. She could at least tease him a little, if he was going to be so forward. "is an Ice Pokemon. Why? You get one?" She moved the arm that was around his, taking his wrist and examining his PokeTech, once again reaffirming the fact that she had very little inhibitions about touching him and being in his personal space, despite her thoughts from earlier. She typed a few things into the Tech, before releasing his wrist, revealing the image of a small triangular creature pulled up on the screen. "That's what they look like." she said with a small nod, putting her hands forward as she pushed through the doors of the Research Center. Her pace picking up as her excitement got the better of her, she darted over to the nearest PC, beginning to type like mad. "Log on to my account..." she murmured to herself, her eyebrow furrowing as she examined the many things in front of her, before a grin split her face. "Here we go! Pending Pokemon Arrival," she said merrily, clicking on it. To the left side of the computer, the Poke Ball dispenser released a sphere of white light, which soon died down to a normal Poke Ball. She picked it up, and almost immediately threw it to the ground. A small, green-and-gold creature emerged from the red beam of light, and the Electrike blinked, squinting at the brightness of the room. "Hey there, Shellshock! Welcome to my team!" Saya said merrily, and the Lightning Pokemon blinked up at her. He gave a cheerful bark as she knelt down, running over and leaping into her arms, nuzzling into her hair and against her neck. "You're so affectionate~" she cooed sweetly, petting the Pokemon. Shred looked up curiously and perhaps a bit jealously, before he moved over to Katsu, chirping once or twice. Saya turned to look at her human companion briefly before she reached over, logging off of her account. "I'm done here; log on and get your Snorunt so we can head back and get a ride over to the main lands!" She set Shellshock down onto the floor, and Shred looked at him curiously, making his way over. Almost immediately Shellshock's fur bristled and he let out an angry snarl, electricity beginning to build around him. "Hey... hey!" Saya barked, stepping between the two, not wanting the two pint-sized Pokemon to get into a fight. "You're on a team with him, Shellshock. You behave." Shellshock growled, glaring at Shred as he nuzzled against Saya's leg. Shred's feathers ruffled, and he nuzzled against her other leg. Saya heaved a sigh. "Shellshock, return." she ordered, returning the little Pokemon to his Poke Ball. "Shred, you come on back too." The fire chicken, too, was retrieved in his Poke Ball, and Saya ran a hand through her hair. "I hope they'll learn to get along..." she muttered mostly to herself, before glancing back to Katsu, checking his progress. |

The man sent a glance over to the girl as she moved away from his grasp, and he smirked, moving his hands to his pockets, giving a slight shrug at her through his trench coat. He had decided that, despite the fact that she was a little off sometimes, he found her to be quite alluring and attractive. Especially when she was on one of her highs, like right now. He glanced down at Shred when the little chicken came over to peck at him, accusing him of being un-gentlemanly, or at least that's what he assumed. "Okay now, Shred. Calm down..." he spoke, before she moved back to him, linking her arm around his. He raised an eyebrow at her, but didn't mention what had just happened between them. "Ice? I don't think I have one of those yet," he spoke, then moved to pull up his Poketech but Saya had already grabbed his arm. He gave a small sigh as she used the tech, before showing him what the Snorunt was. It looked like a little triangular pokemon and his opinion was that it really looked kind of stupid. However, he couldn't really say much, he needed an ice type...or at least he thought he did. Shrugging, he followed Saya into the Research Center, watching as she moved directly to the computer, accessing her PC in order to retrieve the Electrike that she'd been talking about. Then almost immediately, the little creature made itself known as Saya released it. The little dog seemed to be quite taken with Saya, jumping into her lap. Katsu smiled as he saw the creature nuzzling against her, though Shred looked to be a little jealous of the attention. As Saya moved away from the PC, he followed suit, pressing similar buttons and getting roughly the same effect...though it did take him another minute or so longer than her before the pokeball was dispensed. Opening it, the Snorunt was released out into the open, blinking a few times before it looked around, confused. "Runt?" it asked, its voice high-pitched and slightly annoying to Katsu's ears. He glanced to Saya, raising an eyebrow at her before returning the creature, not really paying it that much mind. He'd see how it fought here in a bit. The two then recovered their pokemon at the counter before they began their trek back to the boatman. If looks could kill, then Death would be his name...but as he was a riverman, Katsu decided to nickname the fellow Charon, boatman of the River Styx. "All right...let's get this over with..." he spoke as he approached. |

Well, you two have collected your winnings and are now on your way to the main island...with....him. Oh maybe he's not that bad. As he saw you guys approach he smiled widely. You could see he had nary a tooth in his mouth, and the few that did still cling to him gums were as yellow and rotten as roadkill Pikachu. Regardless, you decided to gather your courage and ride in this man's boat. When you made your way over to him he knew exactly why you were here. He cleared his throat to speak. God only knows how his voice is..."Why hello there, my name is William Anders, but you may call me Will." Wow. His appearance may be that of a dirty old schmuck, but his voice had the class and sophistication of British royalty. And his breath spelled pretty good too. "Please excuse my repulsive visage, I had a very...unfortunate accident shortly after my birth permanently moulding my face into what you see now. However, I will do my very best to make my boat ride as comfortable for you as possible." This Will was just full of surprises. He led the two of you over to the docks, and looking around you didn't see any rowboat, or leaky canoe, or anything one would imagine a man such as William to have. "There she is, the Pearl of the Seas" William pointed to what looks to be one of the nicest boats you two have ever seen. If this was what you'd be riding in then you guys were in luck. As luck would have it, you were riding in that! William ushered you two towards the boat, taking out the keys. "Once we leave port I'll enter our destination into the navigation system. I'm heading to Millenia Town, so wherever you are headed afterwards you will have to find your own way, however I can get you off of this island no problem." You guys hit the jackpot here. William Anders may be ugly as a Gulpin that swallowed a Grimer, but he had the charm and grace of a princely Persian. I have a feeling this boat ride will go quite smoothly. That is, if you choose to go. You can still back out, though i see no reason why you'd ever want to. |

Saya was utterly taken aback by this man's speech patterns and his formality in general. Wow. That had been quite unexpected. She wasn't entirely sure how to react, so she just mustered a small smile, quite flustered by her judging of this man. Appearances weren't everything, after all. "My name is Saya Lenal." she said sweetly, giving something akin to a curtsy with her apron. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Mr. Anders." She carefully stepped onto the boat, though she grasped Katsu's arm for balance as she did so, not wanting to fall. She had something of a fear of drowning, and even though she had a Magikarp now that would (hopefully) help her if she called her out, it was still something that she didn't care to do. She didn't even like getting her clothes wet, really. Brushing some of her ebony hair out of her eyes, she carefully took a seat by the edge of the boat. "Your boat is quite beautiful." she said with a smile, running a hand along the edge. She glanced over at Katsu, silently wanting him to sit by her. Though this Will character seemed to be a nice, kindly gentleman, she could never be too sure. Though she and Katsu hadn't really known each other for long, she still trusted him a great deal more than she did this other man. He hadn't done anything but help her, as of now; there was no reason to not trust this man that was accompanying her everywhere she went. It was almost like having a bodyguard. It was...sort of nice, really. "We're heading toward Millenia Town as well, actually." she said with a small nod, one of her hands absent-mindedly brushing against Shred's Poke Ball. "Well...really to the Meteor Plains, but I wanted to make a pitstop in town anyway..." She had the distant thought that maybe it wasn't really a good idea to be telling this stranger about her and Katsu's plans, but hey; if he followed them with any sort of malicious intent, she could sick her Pokemon on him or something. Katsu gave a grim look as they approached Charon, (which if you recall was Katsu's new name for this fellow.) The young man was inherently distrustful of just about anyone he met. There had to be a certain...quality about them that he couldn't quite identify before he'd lower his guard. We'll pay it little mind that most of the people that Katsu trusted tended to be attractive young ladies, however. "And here we are...taking a ride across Styx with Toothless Charon," the man muttered under his breath as the man appeared in their field of vision. Having already been fooled by one person about a ride across, Katsu was in a rare dour mood, which subsisted until he heard the man talk. Then he blinked, almost physically taking a step backward as his entire mindset went on a wild ride on the Goliath, turning his thoughts inside out for a moment before he was able to get a firm grasp on his mind again. "Er...yeah. Nice to meetcha too. Katsu," he spoke, nodding at the man as he wondered just what was going through this fellow's head. Certainly, he seemed to be a nice enough guy, but with an appearance like that... And it wasn't so much that the guy was ugly as sin. Well it was, but more indirectly. If he had an appearance like that, it was possible that he'd caught a lot of crap for it, and it had turned him into something of a sociopath, his entire point in life now to get back at those who had wronged him...and everyone else that was in the way, too. Through that vein, after he helped Saya onto the boat, he casually followed her over to the spot where she was sitting, taking a seat of his own. Reaching up, he moved a hand through his blond hair, giving a small grin to her as he inhaled the scent of the ocean. "I love the ocean," he commented as his grin widened a little, and he placed a hand on her shoulder, the other pointing out over the virtually endless blue expanse. "I mean look at it. It just...goes. It's so open..." Restraining himself somewhat, he moved back to his seat, glancing up at William. "Oh Captain my Captain. You need some help with getting stuff ready or are you good?" he asked, as if he were closer, he'd have a better chance of keeping an eye on him...assuming something went awry. |

 let's keep it PG my friend. You need to start learning to trust people a little more Katsu. Fair enough this man slightly resembled Golom from Lord of the Rings but that doesn't mean he can't be generous. Though with a face like his and a boat like that you couldn't help but wonder. Anyway you both stepped onto the boat and an amazing smell seemed to fill the air. You couldn't quite tell what it was but "Charon" as you like to call him seemed quite pleased you had noticed. Looking around, the boat certainly had it all. There was a swimming pool and a jacuzzi. Next to that was an open pool filled with...*gulp* Carvahna...try not to fall in there. There plenty of other people on the boat, all sailors by the looks of it, and all trainers like most people were. "Charon" turned to Katsu and said: "No, no help required. My men here are more then capable of that, thankyou. Now then, I must go and prepare to set off...and it smells like dinner is almost ready. Maybe five more minutes" He said with a smile. He walked off and a few minutes later, the boat began to move. If you were to look back at the dock you could see it getting smaller and smaller. The sea was the beautiful thing ever. Bright blue as the sun glittered off of it causing it to sparkle slight. It certainly was romantic. At the sides of the boat you could see pokemon swimming along, some playfully, others (like a very serious looking Buizel) were trying to race the boat, maybe for training purposes.) The boat sailed like a dream, it barely rocked so for those of you who were sea sick could gladly enjoy the journey. Things were looking good right now, but they would very quickly turn back. For in the distance...I see a storm approaching. Edited by killaz, May 2 2010, 04:47 PM.

(( Way to have a dirty mind, Killaz XDD )) Katsu glanced over the boat, taking in the sights as he wandered about the open deck. There was a pool...a jacuzzi...and- Katsu paused, blinking. Were those...Carvahna? Well that just seemed dangerous. He frowned, looking back over at Saya before glancing back down into the pool. They didn't look particularly dangerous now but he imagined if there was some form of food in there, that they'd frenzy right on up. And that would both make them look considerably more dangerous and probably raise his doubts about being on this ship quite a bit more. Then again, there wasn't exactly a whole lot that he could do. At least not now that the boat had started moving. Katsu waved to William before he made his way back over to where Saya was sitting. He didn't really know how to pass the time, as normally he would just sleep on the voyages across the ocean to deliver his father's work. But with Saya here, that didn't exactly strike him as the most polite option that he could follow. As he drew close, he reached into his pocket, finding the Poke Ball that contained the Snorunt. "Sohey. I got this Snorunt thing," he announced, quite obviously, as he sat down, releasing the creature onto the deck of the boat. It appeared, blinking up at him before it turned away with a slight 'hmph' noise coming from it. However, it sounded mysteriously like a 'Snor' to Katsu. "Anyway...what does it do? And what's Ice type good at?" he asked the girl, as her pokemon knowledge far outstretched his own. However, he soon glanced up at the sky on the horizon. "Well that ain't good," he murmured. |

Saya was completely and utterly naive about the happenings around her, as she had something of an inherit trust when it came to older people. When she and Katsu had first met, she had let him come along with her with only the slightest pause, while most would deny him and probably call law enforcement if he followed along anyway. It was possible that she needed to be a little less trusting, but it hadn't wronged her yet- so why should she? She noted the pool of Carvahna as something to steer clear of, as the meat-eating fish frightened her somewhat, just as Sharpedo did. If she were to fall in there or something of the like... She shuddered, only coming back to the present when Katsu released his brand-new Snorunt from her Poke Ball. She blinked, before releasing a soft laugh as the little Ice-type turned away from them both. "I don't think she likes you right now." she said simply, watching the Pokemon curiously. She put a hand atop her bandana, mildly afraid that it would blow away or something. "And...Ice-type..hm. I'm not entirely familiar with them, I'll admit it. But I know they're good against Flying-type and Dragon-type..." She lifted the wrist with her light blue PokeTech on it, typing a few things on the screen as she looked up the ins and outs of Ice-type Pokemon. "Ah." she said after a few moments, before leaning over toward him a bit, revealing the screen to him. "They're also good against Ground-type and Grass-type. Make sure you never pit her up against a Fire-type, Fighting-type or Rock-type, though..." She hummed thoughtfully, stretching her arms briefly before glancing out at the horizon. A frown formed on her face. "You...might wanna put her away. That storm doesn't look to friendly." Saya mumbled worriedly. |

Your final words Saya were indeed correct. That storm did not look friendly at all. It was coming closer and closer and closer with each passing second until a vicious wind whipped out that blew across the deck, blowing objects across the deck. You both heard one of the sailors shout over to you from the Port side of the ship. "Alas a vicious storm be brewing. You guys better get yourselves to shelter or you'll soon find yourself overboard or worse in the Carvahna tank." That last one certainly wouldn't be nice but there was very little time. Rain began to beat down hard on the deck. Soaking everything it touched it slightly stung as it landed, it certainly was powerful. You could hear the thunder and just a little off in the distance you could see flashes of lightning. "I've never seen a storm this bad before." One of the other sailors shouted. They were busy securing the ship. Where was "Charon" in all this?..(actually I'm going to call him Skippy for now.) That was certainly a mystery...then again as the captain he was probably at the wheel. You should be able to find that by yourselves. Another loud crash of thunder was heard and this one seemed to rock the boat viciously. One sailor was quickly thrown hard against a nearby wall and knocked out, saved from slipping into a tank from his nearby mate. "GET INSIDE!!" They were all shouting, not just to the two of you, but to each other. Better listen to them, unless you want to be thrown overboard. But...maybe there was something you could do. I don't know what, that's your plan. The sailors are probably all inside battling, gambling or trying to avoid thinking about the storm if you wish to join them. The deck was slowly starting to become extremely slippery. Better make your decision quick. Nearby, I can hear a roar.
