Chloe stopped and stared at the older man beating the heck out of the younger one. She had no idea what was going on, but for some reason she got the feeling that the younger guy didn't deserve everything that was happening to him. Noone deserved to get beat up that bad, she said as she looked at the blood on the guy whom she figured to be George.

"What are you lookin' at sweetheart? Why don'tcha get a move on, eh? Nothing to see here."
the man said to Chloe. How dare he talk to her like that? How disrespectful. "Look here, I don't know who you think your talking to like that!" the 15 year old girl shouted out at the guy. At first she thought about just leaving the two men alone, but now she was thinking otherwise. That man needed taught a lesson.

"I'm guessing your George," Chloe said pointing to the guy who just got beat up. "Well don't worry, I'll take care of this guy!" Chloe said reaching for her two pokeballs on her belt. She must have forgot that she was 15 year old girl and was about to pick a fight with a man in his twenties. However, it was too late now as she tossed both pokeballs out in front of her. The balls simultaneously opened and both Ace and Cherie turned to face their trainer.

"Hi guys, we are going to teach this bully a lesson," Chloe said pointing at the guy that told her to get moving. "Get ready buddy, because you and your "boss" are about to get a real fight!" Chloe shouted not knowing what she was about to get herself into.

Well, that was a way to go. Standing up to a man who had been beating up another for a bit of time. I mean, he was probably much stronger than you were, luckily he didn't seem like he was going to attack you. So, he decided to go for a more gentlemanly approach and just challenge you to a battle of Pokemon. "Haha, you have guts little girl. Fine. If you win this duel, I'll leave him alone...for now. If you don't, than you waddle yourself on over to that Pokemon Center and leave me to my business. Heh...go Pokemon!" he said, before you even had a chance to agree or disagree, he threw up two Pokeballs. Both burst open and within a few seconds, two Pokemon materialized before you. "Are you ready to take on a gang member sweetheart?" he said with a maniacal laugh.

The two Pokemon he sent were a Growlithe and a Zubat. Both weren't as strong as your highest, meaning that this man must have been a newbie or something. But let me tell you, I guarantee that they'd be stronger if he was a bit more experienced. He just smiled and looked over at his friend, who was still bleeding almost lifeless.
"Heh, the boss gave me these Pokemon...I will win for sure heheh." he said smirking and turning his attention back to you and the battle at hand. He even graciously gave you the first move. His Pokemon looked rather vicious. He stood there and crossed his arms. You two weren't going to get much attention from this battle either, it being in a secluded alleyway and all.

So, what will your first move be? Or would you back out now? I mean, you could still forfeit and let this guy go back to his business. But this was your last chance. Or you could start by giving your Pokemon some attacks to use against them. It looked like this was going to be a double battle for sure. Your two Pokemon versus his two. What an interesting concept.

Chloe became a little more scared than before when she saw the guy throw out two pokeballs. She hoped he was all talk and not some super great trainer, or else she was in trouble considering she was just a newbie trainer herself. As the man's pokeballs opened, a Growlithe and a Zubat emerged. "Growlithe could be some trouble," Chloe instantly said to herself knowing that Cherie wouldn't last long against a fire-type. That just meant that she needed to take the dog out first.

"I hope you know I'm not backing down!" Chloe shouted out to the man who admitted that he was part of a gang. Chloe laughed as she realized that she was getting herself into a battle with a gang member. The same girl who never thought she'd even be a pokemon trainer was now battling against a gang member. It's funny how things can turn out.

With all four pokemon out on the battle field standing across each other, Chloe decided not to waste time and began commanding he pokemon attacks. If she could get the first hit in, it would sure help her in the battle. "Alright Ace, use Focus on your Attack and then use a Bubble on Growlithe. Cherie, you use Focus on your attack as well, followed by a Tackle on Growlithe," Chloe commanded.

Well, well, well. This battle was going to go to one Pokemon, then the other, obviously. Your plan was to attack the Growlithe first, then the Zubat afterward. That's a nice way of doing it. I mean, surely the Growlithe would be quite surprised by the constant attacks. That was always a way to go! Nice battling! Alright, so as stated, both of your Pokemon instantly began to focus on their attacks. Each of them upping their stat. Ace then blasted a fit of bubbles everywhere, aimed as best he could at the Growlithe. The little puppy Pokemon was rather scared at what to do. He tried whatever he could to dodge them, but whenever he moved one way, there were bubbles there, and then to the other, bubbles over there. There was no escaping it. As soon as the bubbles began to fade, Cherie began her attack coming at the poor puppy. A tackle attack right at the dog, hitting in it in the face. BAM! It flew back and then it began its retaliation.

The trainer on the opposing side was quite concerned. He told both Pokemon to use their instructed attacks, a Leech Life from Zubat and a Bite from Growlithe on both Pokemon. Well, Zubat first went in for your Surskit and bit as hard as she could, while the dog went in for your Cherubi. Both attacks dealt some damage, and then the two kind of switched, but Cherubi didn't allow the Zubat entrance into any part of her. She was quite cautious and the Zubat finally gave up and fled back to her trainer. On the other hand, Growlithe was quite upset and kept at it, trying to bite Surskit as hard as possible to create some damage. He finally had an opening and took it, dealing a little damage, then once the attack was over, he quickly limped back over to his trainer, hurt but at the same time proud that he had dealt as much damage as he had.

Round one went extremely well for you I believe, besides the Zubat taking nothing, that wasn't the goal right now anyhow, the goal was to take down Growlithe, and if you kept it up, Growlithe could be down in the next few turns! Good luck!

Chloe developed a small grin upon her face despite both Cherie and Ace taking some decent damage. That was beside the point though, considering that her plan seemed to be going quite well. Growlithe, the pokemon that seemed the strongest out of both of her opponents took some good damage and Chloe was set to finish the dog off in another round or two. All she needed to do was deal some damage and make sure neither Growlithe nor Zubat got off a good attack.

It was not Chloe turn to attack once again, and she tried to think of a good way to insure that Surskit could land a Bubble attack successfully on Growlithe. "I hope you know now that I'm noone to take lightly!" Chloe shouted out at her opponent. She couldn't believe herself, was this really her? With each passing minute, she becoming more and more like a Pokemon Trainer, or at least acting like one.

With a smile she turned to look at Ace. "Ace, I'm so impressed with your battling, your becoming a great battler," Chloe said. With her smile growing even larger, she turned to Cherie. "You too Cherie, let's keep it up," she said before preparing herself to shout out her commands for this round. "Both of you, begin this round with a Focus on your Defense. Next, Cherie you start first. Use a Strike attack on Growlithe. Ace, wait back and prepare yourself for a Bubble attack. At any moment you see an opening, let it loose!" Chloe commanded holding her finger out toward her opponent.

Chloe looked from Growlithe and Zubat to their trainer and gave a small chuckle. She was trying to be as confident and intimidating as a girl of her age and size could be. She remembered hearing from someone one time that in a fight the most important skills are confidence and intimidation. Even though she was new and inexperience with battling, all she had to do was show that she wasn't backing down and her Cherie, and Ace would win for sure.

I'm wrecking this place up like a tornado of vengeance! Sideways is the best ways! Look out, Aro. You're about to be diago-NAILED!
It's funny you should mention intimidation, for this was, unfortunately, where Growlithe's ability finally kicked in. Now that he was being targeted, and he knew it, the dog stood firm and stared menacingly at your two pokémon. Their attacks returned to normal, having been affected by the temporary boost of Focus, but in a few rounds would actually be lower than normal. Maybe it really is best to get rid of Growlithe quickly!

Despite your tactic, your trainer foe didn't look too perturbed. He smirked at you as you confidently mouthed off at him, and remarked with heavy sarcasm: "Yeah, you're really proving yourself to be awesome, kiddo." Losing the jesting tone, he continued: "you're really gonna have to try harder than this."

As your two pokémon, a little miffed by the insult, upped their defences and prepared to attack, the guy gave his own commands. "Growlithe, Zubat! We're gonna give her a taste of her own medicine." The two pokémon seemed to bristle with amusement, just as boosted by their confident trainer as your own pokémon were by you. "Zubat, I want you to try and intercept an attack, any attack - then Leech Life that Cherubi! Growlithe, Bite that silly plant!" Zubat, being the most mobile pokémon on the field, had little to no problem zooming about. As Cherie bounced in, aiming a Strike on Growlithe, Zubat darted in and took the hit. Being so close to the grasstype, it was easy to turn around and land a Leech Seed; the bat sunk her fangs into one of Cherie's succulent 'cherries' and didn't let go, absorbing life energy from the plant as she cried out in pain and distress.

Ace had little to no choice but to use Bubble. As Growlithe bit down on Cherie, overwhelming her with damage as you were trying to do to the Growlithe, Ace sent out a massive volley of bubbles. As before, the Growlithe was unable to dodge the attack, and growled and whined at the supereffective water damage. However, some of the bubbles drifted pass and hit both the Zubat and Cherie, though to much lesser extents - and, due to her resistance, Cherie was hardly affected at all. The Zubat didn't look like she was going to let go, but a sudden and unexpected interruption caused her to release and flap higher, escaping both the bubbles and the sudden intrusion. The object, having been going at quite some speeds, embedded itself in the wall of the alleyway. The jerk you were fighting blinked at it, but wasn't interested at all - he was more interested in beating on you so he could keep pounding on George. The meteorite seemed to radiate coldness, and your pokétech beeped at you, declaring that anyone who brings such a meteor to the Meteoric Plains will receive a gift. It seemed like an odd time for such a competition, but the meteor wasn't going to belay its arrival just because of your fight!

:greymeteor

Cherie practically limped back to you, but was soon recovered; being sapped wasn't a pleasant feeling, but she wanted to make your proud and was stubborn enough to continue. Ace, unharmed this turn, eyed the cold, grey object in the wall warily, but then turned his attention back to the more immediate danger. You could deal with the meteor if you wanted to.

Chloe's teeth began to chatter and she started to shiver from the cold radiation of the meteor. The thing had fallen out of nowhere and for a moment Chloe almost forgot she was in the middle of battle. That is until Ace retreated back to her and let out a strange battle cry.

"Hang in there guys!" Chloe called out to her two pokemon that were fighting as hard as they could. With the message coming through on her Poketech about trading in the meteor for a rare pokemon, Chloe kept moving her head from the battle to the meteor. She couldn't let a chance like this go, but she also couldn't let it get in the way of her battle.

"We have to get rid of that Growlithe guys!" Chloe shouted while looking down at her Cherubi who was now in some decent pain. Not only did she have to deal with being inexperienced when it came to battling, but she also had to deal with not having very good moves. "Alright guys, let's finish Growlithe off!" Chloe shouted. "Cherie, focus your attack and then race forward with a Tackle on Growlithe. Ace, wait for Cherie to finish her attack and then use two Bubbles to finish off Growlithe. Watch for him to dodge Cherie's tackle as well, because if he does so still hit him with a Bubble!" Chloe said before looking back over at the meteor.

Chloe watched the battle for another second as her pokemon prepared for their attacks. She then sprinted over for the meteor, still making sure to keep an eye on the battle. She needed to pick the meteor up, put it in her bag, and get back to her battle as quick as possible.

A double battle and you seemed to be doing rather good. Your commands show that your character thinks they have a good strategy. The Cherubi had used Focus first; focusing on how to build her attack up, and it did. Her only move seemed to be Tackle, other then the GAL Rushing in, the Growlithe took the hit. As it backed off, Surskit used his bubble attack. The first one did some good damage, having all the bonuses like the type advantage, STAB, and whatever else. When the second came, it had surprisingly finished Growlithe off.

With that obstacle out of the way, your full attention could go to the Zubat, and finish it off rather quickly. Zubat swooped down, wanting to deal some damage, he used Bite. He ended up getting one of Surskit's legs, causing it greater pain as the bat brought his whole mouth around such a petit leg.

Chloe jump in excitement, letting a small sound of joy escape her mouth in the process. After many turns of aggravation thanks to the small window of attacks at her disposal, the match finally seemed to be getting somewhere."Time to finish this off, so we can find us some more friends!" Chloe called out.

Both Ace and Cherie looked back at their trainer and then at each other. A small yet, determined grin appeared on the two small pokemon. For a couple of pokemon as small as these two, their grins produced a more intemidating look, making them appear to be slightly more competitive than at first glance. That is saying alot, considering both are known for their "cuteness" and not their fighting skills.

Now however, it was time to prove it was more than just a grin. Chloe was now done thinking up her next offensive maneauvers and was ready to call them out and hopefully finish this battle. Or get a little closer at least. "Alright guys, lets win this one. Cherie, try a couple more Tackles. Time them right to make sure they hit, hit that bat hard girl! Ace, one more bubble and then finish her off with a Strike attack! Chloe commanded, as she found herself closely watching, hoping for the best.

Head of Registration - The Exploding Train
You and your Pokemon were both eager to move on and finish this battle. Unfortunately, the man wasn't about to just roll over and go away because his Growlithe was down.

"Zubat! Recharge your batteries by hitting the little cherry with two Leech Lifes!"

Cherie was first to go, and she barreled herself forward hard into the flying annoynace. Zubat, angry and annoyed, launched back with a Leech Life! The insect-like attack did some good damage to Cherie, who yelped out in pain. Ace, ready to defend Cherie, slowly limped forward and let loose with a blast of Bubbles! They popped right at the Zubat who screeched and hollered!

While the Zubat was distracted, Cherie lept into action again and pounced on the Zubat from behind with a ferocious Tackle attack! Zubat once again bit down on Cherie and sucked some hp and energy from her. Ace, slowly but surely due to his injured leg, ran up to the bat and struck it hard with a non-broken leg. The bat yelped and let go, flapping back towards the bully to await further instructions. You did some good damage to the bat, but Cherie had taken a few blows as well! What will you do now, trainer?

"Come on, give up, you already lost!" Chloe shouted out giggling. In all honesty, Chloe was starting to get bored, but she knew that it was going to take at least a few more rounds before this battle was finished. The girl never really could keep herself content with the same activity for too long, which is part of the reason she took off on a journey in the first place. She had a need for adventure in her life.

"Alright Cherie, that's enough. Return, Ace can handle it from here, no need to get you more hurt than you already are girl," Chloe called out as she withdrew her small cherry like pokemon. Chloe knew that using only Ace meant that the battle was most likely going to take even longer, but the price she'd have to pay to win her first battle.

"Alright Ace, start by Focusing your attack. Next let out a Bubble. Finally, once the bubbles begin hitting your opponent, pop up behing them and Strike Zubat to the ground!" Chloe called out her orders and then looked down at her Poketech. Maybe gambling would give her a little more fun? She punched in some numbers, purchasing 5 lottery tickets for the week.

Ah the battlefield. Man kind’s best, and sometimes worst, invention since the creation of the world. A place where honor and glory where earned on the blood, sweat and tears of both humans and Pokémon alike. Yet of all the types of battles fought none where as prevalent as a Pokémon battle. Most people found their way to this point at one time or another during their lives and apparently this fact holds true for you as well. Oh well, on to the battle.

Orders set in for your Pokémon it started using Focus to increase its attack. “Zubat I want you to use Bite then keep hold while using Leech Life.” The other trainer ordered. Zubat did its best to nod and started flapping its wings as fast as it could muster towards Ace. Zubat flew in just as ace was finishing his Focus attack only to find, and feel, several teeth sticking off of his face and started to panic. He thrashed around for a moment while Zubat happily figured she had a good hold.

Fortunately for Zubat she quickly remembered its orders for a Leech Life attack and started preparing for this. Unfortunately for Zubat Ace also remembered its orders. Focusing its energy into its mouth it shot out a rather strong Bubble attack. Considering the instance the attack hurt rather badly and Zubat was sent flying back with bubbles exploding in its mouth.

Seeing his turn Ace ran forward as best it could with its leg the way it was aiming to hit the Zubat with a Strike attack. Unfortunately the attack missed as Zubat used one of its wings to roll to the side. Zubat took this turn to use Leech Life on Ace and lunged forward sinking his fangs into Ace’s side. Ace started hopping around trying to dislodge the Zubat from his side and succeeded after a few seconds. Zubat winged its way towards its trainer looking rather ragged from its beating. Admittedly your Ace didn’t look much better since it had four slices across its face from where the Zubat had bitten down.

Chloe watched in horror as her little Ace was getting his life sucked away right in front of her. Feeling helpless, she just kept screaming for Ace to break free, until finally he let loose his bubble attack and freed himself. As both pokemon finished their attacks and stared at each other, awaiting their next attacks, Chloe once again looked on in horror. Ace was winning the battle, but he was still in pretty bad shape.

"If we can just get one more good hit on Zubat," Chloe mumbled softly to herself. This wasn't going to be any walk in the park however, considering that Ace was pretty badly injured. Still, they had to try. "Alright Ace, one more hit and we should be able to win this battle. Then I promise I'll get you over to a Pokemon Center to heal you all up," Chloe said to her Surskit as she tried to think of how she could make one more hit count.

"Ace, wait for Zubat to start coming and then spray a Bubble at her. If she makes your attack first, go ahead and just stay with the bubble. If your bubble is unsucessfull for she dodges it, look for which way shes going to move and hit her with another bubble in that direction!" Chloe said hoping her plan would work, not only to win the battle, but for the sake of her Ace's health. Not to mention Cherie's as well.

As Chloe finished calling her attacks, her Poketech began going off. When looking down, Chloe was suprised to find that he had won the lottery twice when she played! She typed in a few more commands and before her eyes a Clefairy was sent to her team through the Poketech! Plus a handy $150. Luck was on Chloe's side with the lottery, but would be with her in this battle as well?

After you cashed in your money and took your Clefairy that you won from the lottery, you focused back on the battle so you could absolutely destroy this dude. Your orders to your Surskit were fairly simple, if the Zubat was going to come, then attack it; if it wasn't going to, then attack it anyway. Well, you already know this, since you thought of the idea... Anyway, the Zubat had one advantage of being faster than your Surskit, so the bat Pokemon flew over to Surskit and attacked with a Strike, which did moderate damage. However, the Strike from the Zubat was useless, since your Surskit quickly retaliated with a Bubble attack, which connected with the Zubat and knocked it out.

Click

Now that the battle is over, your opponent is supposed to run away and drop some cash, right? Well, not exactly. He returned his fainted Zubat back into his Pokeball and started muttering to himself. Finally, he looked over at you and drew out one long sigh. "It's too bad that I lost this battle," the man said, "But don't worry, this won't be the last time you'll see me!" He ran over to you, and since he was a lot older and bigger than you, he pushed you a few feet back and ran off. You fell down on the ground and hit your head on a hard object, that immediately knocked you unconscious.

After an unknown amount of time had passed, you woke up next to a group of Chanseys. While it was certainly a little bit confusing and a strange sight for you, it could've been worse - you could have been kidnapped or something! But, luckily for you, George was deeply grateful for what you did, so he carried you to the Pokemon Center. After all, you did save him from being beaten into a bloody pulp, so it was the best thing he could've done to help you.

One of the Chanseys noticed that you had woken up, so she quickly waddled into another room. Soon after, a Nurse came out of the same room that they Chansey went in. She seemed fairly young, had dark hair, and noticeable freckles all over her face. She walked over to you and put her hands on your shoulder. "Careful, your head still might be a little wobbly from the hit," she said in a soft, soothing voice. She helped you sit upright and went over to one of the freezers that were in the room. She grabbed an ice pack and gave it to you so you could press it against the spot where you hit your head.

You had a huge lump on your head, too. Humongous!

Anyway, George quickly entered the room, and he too had some bandages from the beating he took earlier. It seems he won for having the worst day, but despite the fact that he got beat up, he seemed pretty happy to be in the Pokemon Center with you. "Hey, it's good to see that you're awake. You were out for nearly two hours! How are you feeling?"

OOC: I think Brolis had a plot in mind, but I don't think he's written anything down about it. If you want, I could write something up and continue it from here.

"Agh..where..am I?" Chloe grunted as she reached up for her head that was still slightly hurting. To her however, the pain was a mystery, as was the strange pink blobs she saw running around. Stretching her muscles and looking around a little longer, her vision started to become less blurry, so that she could finally begin to make out her surroundings. "Is that, a, chansey?" She asked herself confused. Normally Chloe would be jumping in joy at the sight of the beautiful Chansey, but right now she was just extremely lost.

"Careful, your head still might be a little wobbly from the hit," A woman said walking over toward Chloe, putting her hand on Chloe's shoulder. "Your a nurse," Chloe said. Looking around some more, Chloe now realized that she was laying in a bed. She was in a Pokemon Center! But why? The nurse walked over, grabbed an ice pack and handed it to Chloe. "Why on earth do I ne.." Chloe began to say until she remembered the pain from her head. She rubbed her fingers along her head until she came across a giant lump. "Oh my gosh!" Chloe shouted loud enough that the trainers in the front room probably heard her. "What the heck happened?!"

It was just then that a kid walked through the door. For some reason he looked relatively familiar to Chloe, but who was he? "Your that kid from before," She said staring at the boy. "Hey, it's good to see that you're awake. You were out for nearly two hours! How are you feeling?" Things were now starting to come together for Chloe. She remembered the battle, but that was all. "What is going on, the last thing I remember is me and Ace winning that battle. Not, I'm here. Oh no, wheres Ace!" Chloe shouted looking around for her Surskit.
