Overlord of Blowing $hit Up
By Treecko99:
Well isn’t this lovely, two lifelong friends traveling together on a long and perilous journey for glory, money, and the further preservation of rainforests and the creatures that reside in them. Nope there was nothing wrong with 2 grown men traveling together, nope nothing wrong at all. Except, perhaps when something goes horrible wrong and you two somehow end up reacting “Broke Back Mountain 3: The Return of Mr. Happy”, yet the likeness of that happening is 1 in a million…isn’t it?

Anyone who, where was I. Oh yeah, I was talking about Nogou. Since both of you are natives I suppose I shouldn’t have to describe the most evilest of evil starting areas one could possible begin in. but if I didn’t this post would be empty. EMPTY I SAY, so for the heck of it I shall.

First off, why is it so evil you ask? Oh you didn’t ask? No matter I shall tell you anyway. Not only was this village populated by tree huggers (people whom Gabe should be able to relate to) far and wide for they also produced one of the most deadly devices known to man. A threat so massive that it makes Al-Qaeda look likes a daycare center (you know the one where they pretend they’re teaching you while your parents are away but actually hype you up on junk food and allow you to watch T.V and nap to pass the time). Yes you’ve guessed it, vegetables. Just saying the word sends a shiver down my spine, I can’t bear to think what actually eating them would do to me. If I were you I would escape from this bejeebas forsaken town as fast as your little legs shall carry you. I still can’t understand why with the variety of options for starting towns why anyone chooses Nogou. I mean if I had a dime for every time someone started here I could build a life size model of Thomas Jefferson taking a bubble bath. I suppose that’s enough rambling for one day, lets gets this Journey started already.

For the most part today was a pretty bland normal day. The sun was shining brightly through the myriad of gaps within the clouds creating the perfect combination of heat and shade. The wind was blowing, but not to the point where it made it difficult to remain upright. The birds where singing some indecipherable melody that would even make the toughest of mamma’s boys stop to hear the music. Each of your Pokemon, Snover and Ekans respectively, were enjoying what festivities the day had to offer, whereas their trainers (that’s where you two come in) where doing whatever to adult males do when traveling with each other. Yep, it seems as if nothing could go wrong.

Or perhaps it could, as I randomly spawn a Pokemon for you two to battle. Today I feel in a good mood so I’ll let you off with..oh I know. A Sentret and Glameow sounds perfect.

Yes a Sentret and Glameow where blocking your path, snarling at you as if you hated your very guts. For a minute they remained still, glaring at your Pokemon then averting their gaze at yourselves. Glameow, obviously the brains of the outfit, tilted his to the left and quick as a flash Sentret charged, heading in the direction of Snover; whereas Glameow went the opposite direction and dashed towards Ekans. If I were you two (which I’m not) I would suggest either telling your Pokemon to dodge or counter attack. Or you could always close your eyes and pretend this whole thing never happened.

:glameow Lv 5 :male

(REQUEST ME FOR YOUR NEXT REFF OR I'LL BRING HELLFIRE DOWN ONTO YOU)

Gabriel walked through Nogou wondering what he would do with the information he had been given and how he would change the world with it. All he really knew right now was that he was now traveling with Tyvan, his long time friend, to discover the evils behind human nature. You see, Tyvan was from a family that mistreated pokemon and well…Gabriel was hoping he could influence Tyvan to see that pokemon are very important figures in their lives, maybe than he wouldn’t have to and he’d treat pokemon the proper way.

As the blonde walked through the streets of the town in which he was born and raised he noticed a few people wondering by and he let the smell of the tree’s around him fill his nose. He looked over at Tyvan and smirked, “We should really find something interesting to do” He said as they walked the streets of Nogou, it was true though, these two boys, they needed to decide on their path and where they would go and all that fun jazz.

Gabriel, he had no idea where Tyvan would want to head off to but he knew that he himself would want to head to the mountains. He hadn’t been there before you see and well, he was hoping he could get in a few battles with some new and exciting pokemon and maybe even start working on increasing the power of his team itself. There was actually one specific pokemon that Gabriel was looking for at the moment, he was hoping to come across an Onix, he had always wanted to have a fight with that giant land snake.

Yet, as they walked they came upon two other pokemon that seemed prepared to battle. A Sentret and Glameow were standing in their path and staring down Snover and Ekans as if they wanted to kill the two pokemon and well, they than attacked. The Sentret started to rush at Snover and Gabriel smirked, Snover had easily a hundred pounds on the little ferret and he even had an extra foot of height. He would have to let Tyvan handle his own battle separately as he ran scenario’s through his mind.

“Snover!” He yelled as he kept putting together his strategy, “Wait for it to get close and than use Razor Leaf at close range, just make sure it’s within range for you to shower that little ferret with leaves.” He said smiling as he looked over to Tyvan and thought about the Glameow attacking the Ekans. They would have fun with that fight, there was no notable size difference and Ekans had no really powerful attacks yet, Tyvan would have to put together a strategy that would be top notch.

Tyvan had woken early that morning, deciding that it was finally about time that he and Gabe got a move on. 'Such a boring day' he thought to himself as he met up with Gabe. As the two walked along the streets Tyvan released his ekans from its pokeball. Ekans slithered about and made its way up around Tyvan's shoulders, he couldn't stand being cramped up in those pokeballs. Gabe had mentioned something about wanting to head toward the mountain region to try to encounter an onix, and Tyvan had absolutely no problem with that. Ever since the death of his mother Tyvan had studied the great gyarados and found that onix seemed like a similar match.

Gabe was complaining about wanting something to do and the two decided to head out of town. Snover seemed to have been released from his pokeball as well and the four companions began to head out along the path. Just then two creatures that Tyvan had never seen before. As he checked his poketech it informed him that these two pokemon were called Sentrent and Glameow. These two new pokemon seemed to be enraged with Tyvan and Gabe though they had done nothing to either pokemon. Ekans slid down Tyvan's chest and hissed at the pokemon in a defensive posture.

Out of nowhere the sentrent rushed Snover and before Tyvan had time to say a word he saw the glameow barrel towards Ekans. Tyvan could hear Gabe screeming something to Snover to try and help it in it's battle and Tyvan knew it was time to get it in gear. "Ekans steady now, lets teach this cat a lesson! Use your wrap attack and force him into submission!"

Tyvan had no idea how powerful this cat like pokemon was but hoped that Ekans would be able to finish this fight early that way he could help Gabe, though it seemed as if Snover needed little help against the rodent.

So, we have a tree and a snake vs a cat and a... Raccoon looking thing. The two of you have better things to do really, but these two wild Pokemon came out of no where and launched themselves at you... Welcome to Alternia! Where the unexpected is the expected. Humor aside, this battle's going to be pretty quick paced, as most first battles usually are. Though, one tip: This IS a double battle, so both of the opponent Pokemon could be targets, you know..

Before a anything, abilities come into play. Snover's ability causes clouds to gather overhead, and in minutes, a light snow is starting. In another minute, it's picked up, and hail is pouring from the heavens. That's going to make things interesting... Ekans's Intimidate then starts up, giving the two opponents an attack down right off the bat. Intimidate is sweet....

The face off between the Glameow and Ekans was first. The cat was more nimble, thus attacked first. In a lightning flash move, it appeared in front of Ekans's face, and slapped it's paws together loudly in a Fake-Out attack. Ekans was taken by surprise, and flinched because of the move's nature. Glameow then jumped onto the great snake's face, and began to claw at it in a Scratch attack. Ekans didn't look like it was having the best of days, huh? It tried to shake the cat off, but only cause the feline to dig in even deeper. Pretty sure with the right movement, that cat could be in for a lot of hurt... Like, say... Something along the lines of a Belly Flop attack....?

On a stranger note, a bag of items seemed to be sitting by your foot... Score?

The battle between the raccoon-thing and the frosty tree was next. But, things just happen to be getting a lot more interesting about now... Just as the christmas tree looking Pokemon launched a barrage of leaves at the running Sentret, the ground underneath the raccoon-ferret Pokemon exploded. It was sent flying, and landed in the forest nearby. Snapping branches suggested that it's fall was broken, so no worries. Was was even more weird was that a second explosion came from the hole, and through the smoke, you could see a large, hulking figure rise from it. The dust cleared, and you could see steam, and smoke, rising from the creature. It was large, and looked like it was made of stone. It made a low groaning sound as it lifted it's arms, and looked around. It happened to surface just as a large barrage of leaves was coming for it, and it wasn't looking in the right direction to see them, either.

The attack collided with the rock golem, nearly knocking it back into it's hole. It turned around as fast as it's boulder feet would allow it, and gave a loud, horrible sounding roar. It raised on arm, and lifted it's figers out from a fist. A hole in it's palm could then be seen which started to emit heat. Within seconds, flaming fireballs were blasted from the hole, and right into Snover. Both attacks used were super effective, but the Ember did much, much more damage. Thank your x4 weakness to fire on that. It looked, or at least sounded, super pissed at this point. And, you just happen to only have a pokemon which is extremely weak to it.... I'd call for some help, yes?

Also, another tip for the both of you... You're allowed two attacks each turn, and you can have your Pokemon use 3 moves each once per battle. Might help you along a bit.

Battle!

Gabriel

Tyvan
