As you stepped onto the streets of Nogou Village, you could feel a fresh breeze lightly wrap around your ankles and cool you. Nogou Village is one of the region's principle cities because of its economic purpose in Alternia. The village of Nogou was the top producer of food for the region. So basically you made a good choice in selecting your city; lets just try not to get you into any trouble while your here.

It was a wonderous day to start a Journey. The sky was clear and not a thing could go wrong. It was although the world was at peace and nothing wrong could ever happen. Otherwise a perfect time to start a Journey.

Anyway, there are many things that you can do here. Go to the park, look for a job, you could even look for pokemon that inhabit urban areas. Though, some pokemon like Grimer aren't always nice to have around. However, there are plenty of other things to do as well including finding another pokemon trainer and battling him or her for glory, honor, and the right to rub it in their face if your opponent loses. Remember though, battling is just as much physical as it it mental. Fair warning if you choose the path of the warmongerer. In fact look over there I see a Snubbull coming towards you. It looked ready for a fight and was probably coming towards you because of that reason. Wanna take this thing on?

Bridget couldn't let that Stantler beat up the Michi, especially since it was so cute. She was of course going to help battle the Stantler. She called, "Okay Churi use a Growl then a Quick Attack on the Stantler!" Weaken the attack the attack would suffice because Churi wasn't at full health. Hopefully the Michi would help as well. If not this could turn out to be a rough battle.

She then cast a glace towards the Snubbull she had attempted to capture earlier to see if it was sucessful. After that she went back to the current situation at hand. Something in her gut was stirring. It could have been the bloodlust in the Stantler's eyes, the rather odd attitude of the Michi, or maybe just how Churi may have been too weak from the last one to pull this out. She would probably find out soon enough though.

Bringing sexy back? Apparently?
Considering the Churi just finished beating down that Snubbull, it was going to be tough taking on this Stantler, however, seeing the Michi imbued Churi with a newfound energy to take on and defend, and a sparkly aura enveloped around your squirrel as you heard the faint ringing of bells. Moving on, your commands rung true and Churi picked up on them just fine, wasting no time in going straight for the Stantler. First up was Growl, which went off flawlessly, leading straight into a Quick Attack, staggering the Stantler.

The Michi decided to step in and help, hoping that you were nicer than that Stantler; it was only looking for food, and there were better ways of asking to share than ramming your behind with that collection of nubs referred to as antlers. Either way, it led into the attack using two of its Bite attacks, gnawing on Stantlers heels while Churi staggered it. Stantler wasn’t going to take this sitting down though, so retaliated against Churi with Astonish, and Leering at the Michi. Michi backed off, naturally, but remained nearby in order to continue the attack as needed.

From the looks of things, this Michi was on your side so long as you weren't another hostile target. So long as things remained this way, things should proceed smoothly and be over pretty fast; hey, you may even get a Stantler for your team. Either way, your move, and only you can truely save this Michi from the bully that was this antler abusing deer.

For the time being I am retired from Alternia. Due to the nature of my work, I've become very busy and time here is hard to find. I shall return eventually however.

Bridget nodded at Churi's and the Michi's great attacks. "Okay Churi, use another Growl to weaken the Stantler's attack power so we don't take as much damage. Then attack with another Quick Attack but watch out for his antlers!" She ran her fingers through her hair, anxiety burning in her gut. She wanted to catch both of them, especially the Michi. She started calculating the chances of succussfully catching them both with her pokeballs. If she played her cards right, it could be possible, though she had to make sure that Churi stayed fit and healthy.

Right now her highest priority was to knock out the Stantler, which would make the Michi safer. Then was the capturing and making sure she captured the Snubbull. After all of that she would need to go the the nearest Pokemon Center. Her head ached at all the things she had to do, and her journey was just only beginning. She was going to need to lay down for a bit after this.

This Stantler certainly was being quite a pain. First, he goes and bullies this adorable little kitty pup...thing. Then, he decides to attack you just because you attack him first! What's his deal? Whatever his reasons, he's attacking you, so you've gotta deal with it. A brilliant girl like you seems more than capable of defeating a creature like this. Churi seemed determined to help her new friend, and this Michi looked like he was getting accustomed to you. Maybe you won't have to capture him after all, he may just willingly join you. But I'm getting ahead of myself, for now we must deal with this battle.

Let's see what we've got. Hrmm, some Growlin, some Quick Attackin, seems like a basic battle. Alright, I think I can take a crack at this. Churi gave a cute little Growl, further lowering Stantler's attack strength. He wasn't too pleased with this, and went in for a Tackle. It was at this very moment that Michi's ability came in handy. He decided to get over his fear and gave a menacing snarl. This Intimidation cut Stantler's attack strength clean in half. This was pretty sweet, but unfortunately Stantler's Intimidate ability did the same to Churi and Michi. Ah well, you win some you lose some.

Stantler's Tackle hit hard, but luckily the damage was halved due to the previously mentioned Intimidate. Churi was knocked back a little bit, but she recovered swiftly and retaliated with her Quick Attack, zipping with blinding speed at the Big Horn Pokemon. This little squirrel packed a powerful punch, smacking Stantler hard. Michi had snuck behind Stantler and hit him with his own Quick Attack. He then latched on to his thick backside and sunk his teeth in. The Bite caught Stantler's attention. He started spinning comically trying to dislodge the little thing. Eventually, an Astonish to thin air gave him the necessary jolt to throw the little guy off of him.

Overall, not too bad. You'd done some nice damage, but you took some too. Michi was getting into the spirit of the battle and lending a good hand. Working together I'm sure Churi and this little guy could make quite the team, all you need is some good coordination. If the two of you work together you could take this guy down in no time!

Bridget saw how good Churi and Michi were battling. "Okay Churi, let's go with just two Quick Attacks this time! I want you to try and coordinate with Michi and try to confuse the Stantler." Confusing the opponent is a good strategy. If they're confuesed, you have more openings to attack. Sometimes it turned out more ugly for your side though. She hoped it didn't turn against her and worked for the better.

The Stantler and it's bully attitude was getting on Bridget's last nerve. Sure, she could be a bully herself and she was being sort of hypocritical. She waved it off though, thinking it was beside the point, even if it wasn't. If she caught it, that would be one of the first things she'd work on was his attitude. But for the moment she needed to think about the present and then worry about the future.

I'm wrecking this place up like a tornado of vengeance! Sideways is the best ways! Look out, Aro. You're about to be diago-NAILED!
By Saya Lenal:

The battle wasn't going too badly- good for you! The Pachirisu and Michi, despite being much smaller than the Stantler, were holding their own. Seems like you've got a knack for knowing how to command Pokemon.
The Stantler rears back, nostrils flaring and front legs kicking before it runs forward, aiming a Tackle at the Michi. The Michi avoided to the right, but Stantler turned right around to Astonish him with a swift hit to his right hind-leg. The little kitty-pup flinched, too startled to do much else, this round. Churi ran in, all up and ready to strike back and defend its possible new friend. Using one Quick Attack, she hit the antlered creature in the side, nearly toppling it over! The Stantler managed to regain its balance in time, standing strong as it watched Churi get back far enough to avoid any counter blows. It stood there a few seconds, its breathing heavy; it was starting to tire. This was the perfect time to strike!

Michi finally snapped out of his brief daze, and in coordination with Churi, both Pokemon threw themselves at the Stantler as quickly as they could. Though the beast tried to avoid it, he wasn't fast enough. Churi's increased Speed sent her right into the Stantler's defenses, delivering a powerful attack to his underbelly. Now off-balanced by the Pachirisu's punishment, Michi moved in to deliver his own blow. However, his Quick Attack seemed almost half-hearted in comparison to Churi's, as he was still quite intimidated by the large Stantler. The Stantler bellowed with pain, stumbling to the ground before just as quickly picking itself back up, looking more than a little worse-for-wear. He's standing on his last legs, now; surely just a little more of a push would knock him out for a while and earn your Pachirisu and her new friend some in-battle experience!

Both Michi and Churi took a few steps back to avoid the Stantler, should he choose to charge again. They both seemed to be awaiting your orders. What will your next move be?

Bridget smiled warmly at Churi and Michi. They were doing great out there, and this battle would probably end at this turn. She called, "Alright great work you two. Let's wrap this up with Churi use two Quick Attacks and Michi again coorinate with Churi." It would probably be unlikly that the second Quick Attack would be needed but this battle could turn out unpredictable. Just looking at Bree someone could tell she wasn't one that liked surprises. Especially ones that pulled at the strings of tactics and battling.

She needed to be ready though, an any case the Stantler had anything "up his sleeves." The Stantler looked stubborn and arrogant. With a personality like that, it was bound to probably try and counter any of the moves thrown at it. Hopefully, a good Quick Attack would knock it out and it wouldn't have a chance to strike back. Her mind lingered over the word 'hopefully' but she pushed it aside remembering it was two against one.

This was becoming an epic battle. A true fight to be remembered for all time. Your children's children's children's best friend's nephews will tell the tale of this majestic battle. Well, not really. It was actually pretty straightforward and simple if you think about it. Churi dashed in with her Quick Attack, slamming into the weakened Stantler. He was barely standing, with just about one HP left. Churi went in for her second Quick Attack, knocking the mighty beast over and ending this battle.

Churi and Michi rejoiced, happily dancing over their victory. Stantler just remained still, too weak to move, but not so weak that he couldn't watch in agony as these two teeny tiny Pokemon danced in happiness over his defeat. He truly was beaten. Here comes the part where you throw your Pokeball and capture the poor thing, only you didn't say you were going to do that, so I guess I can't really make that choice for you. Oh well, your journey, your life, your choice.

I can, however, control the actions of our new little friend over here. Michi ran up to you and started nuzzling against your leg. Aww somebody like you! Well, would you take the little guy with you? It could be an excellent opportunity to add some spice to your lineup. Besides, just look at him! He's so cute! How can you possibly pass up a chance at catching this guy. Still, I can't control your actions, so it's all your choice. Capture Stantler, or not. Allow Michi to join you, or not.

Bridget smiled down at the Michi who was still nuzzuling her leg. She defently wasn't going to pass up an offer like this. She decied against catching the Stantler, not wanting to be too greedy and remembered the Snubbull from earlier. She knelt down next to the Michi after throwing a quick glance over to where she had last seen the pink, dog-like pokemon. She'd have to deal with it after this. "Want to join us on our journey Michi," she asked calmly.

Bridget pulled out an empty Pokeball and held it out at Michi. It was his choice if he wanted to come, though seeing how happy he was she couldn't guess if he declined the offer. Churi called what seemed like encouragement to Michi, as if maybe begging it to come. If it refused she wouldn't know to let it go off or to battle it and try to capture it fair and square. She needed not think of that until she knew for sure if it wasn't coming or not.

The little Michi looks almost startled by the offer, but very clearly is okay with it. The red kitty-pup creature let out a sound of joy, padding up to the Poke Ball offered and poking his nose against the button. A transparent, red beam of light washed over the creature before withdrawing it into its container. The sphere did not shake- after all, the Michi itself chose to come with you! Congratulations, you have a new companion added to your Pokemon team!
Churi seems overjoyed by the addition. It's good that you didn't try to separate these new friends- they were quite a formidable pair while they were together. After taking down such a scary Stantler, these two could probably overcome mountains and cross seas without batting an eye. Or, at least, with the help of some hikers or a boat, they could...then again, should these hikers be particularly bad at hiking, or the boat full of holes, it's possible that your Michi and Pachirisu, in fact, wouldn't be able to overcome mountains and cross seas. But I digress! These are all mere details that are completely unrelated to what's going to happen next.

But, anyway, back to your journey. The Stantler shakes itself out a little bit, trying to clear the fog in its mind, only to topple over. Almost instantly he is back up onto its feet, looking quite ragged. Churi's fur bristles, letting out a small warning growl...but the Stantler didn't seem to want confrontation. It turns tail and runs, seeing as how you didn't want to capture it and add it to your team. Now that you're free of any antagonists and battles, ready to face the day and maybe get some traveling done! So, now that you're with your new team, where would you like to go, Bridget? Your Churi, Michi and Snubbull are ready to follow you for as long as you want; after all, they're your team!
