HEELLLOOO! And welcome to Nogou Village! The sun is shining and the wind is slightly blowing, the perfect day to begin your journey. You're probably full of excitement by now, just the feeling of absolute freedom, but this time you're not alone. You have your partner, your trusted Turtwig, or Turtle as you prefer to call him. It's going to take a lot to get to where you want to be, but that shouldn't be a problem with a little hard work and effort. So, let's get started, shall we? You are now in Nogou Village, the number one eco-friendly place in all of Alternia. All over Nogou they have recycled items, natural products, and everybody lives in tree houses. Cool, right? Everyone living in Nogou seemed to be calm and relaxed, worshiping life to the very end. Children were seen playing a game of baseball out on a patch of grass. They were all running and having a great time with each other, and their Pokemon. You walked along the streets with Turtle secured safely in its Pokeball, then BAMM! You fell over hard and landed with a loud thud. What just happened? Standing before you was a fairly sized Zigzagoon, panting from the running. Running up from behind the Zigzagoon was a little girl. "I'm so sorry! Oh Spike, when are you going to learn? I'm Layla, and this is Spike, he likes to tackle people." Hmm...How random. "Hey, would you like to have a battle? I'm a beginner trainer, so I won't be much of a challenge," Layla asked. So, you have a choice. You could battle this young girl, it'll give you a good chance to see just how well your Turtwig can battle. Or you could just go off and do something else, whatever you feel. Level 4

Lion looked down at the girl and drew her facial features into his mind. She seemed eager to battle and he knew that Turtle would enjoy it also, but he had just gotten to the quaint village. He was in my early twenties, and she couldn't have been a year more than twelve. By default, wouldn't him battling her make him somewhat of a jerk? Layla's no match for him, He lived in the woods for Christs sake he's probably had much more training than Layla. He then looked down a thin trail in which he had come from with just enough room to walk on. There were leafy green trees casting mellow shades all around them. He looked down at Layla, then looked back up at the surrounding city, then back to Layla. "Hmm..." he said aloud. He looked back down at Layla once again and weighed his choices. Battle the girl, win, get some experience, and become a jerk... or... Tell her sorry, leave, explore the town, and try to make new friends. The choices were hard, but he already knew from the start what his answer was. Lion looked at the city once again, drew in a deep breath, and spoke, "Well, I've made my decision." 'Finally', he thought silently to himself. "And my conclusion is, is that I would actually like to explore the town before I get into any battles. I just got here y'know?" And so it was, Lion set off down a dusty trail into the village, leaving Layla behind, and passing nothing but a few small abandoned buildings and some brownish dying trees. |

The girl looked angry and upset, like she was going to throw a tantrum. Obviously she's the stereotypical spoiled brat who always got her way. And you just tried to prevent her from getting her way. No matter, you start to walk away, looking down the dusty trail into the village, seeing the tree houses in the distance in the sunlight. The winds of adventure buffeted you as you walked on. Sorry, my bad...it was only a nice, warm breeze. Before you got too far, her pokemon got in front of you and tackled you to the ground, giving the girl time to catch up. "You will battle me!" she exclaimed in her spoiled brat tone of voice, "you will or else I keep having Spike keep tackling you until you do! I always get my way and you should learn to do the same!" Obviously, this girl won't stop until she got her way or until you get tackled enough that you pass out. The girl gave you a determined look as you contemplated your options. You can step over the Zigzagoon and continue on and hope that the authorities see the girl's Zigzagoon attack you which would mean that the little girl would get in trouble. Or you can battle her. You can even bully her like she's bullying you. It's your choice since this is your adventure. |

'What is her problem?' Lion thought to himself. It was very clear that this girl was NOT going to give up and it was actually getting pretty annoying. Lion was now on the verge of actually battling her. I think that they both new that there was no chance in hell that they were going to battle. It was simply absurd. Who battles fresh the boat? Lion then said, "Yeah, Your threats are amusing and all but I'm just not buying into it. This battle WILL not happen. Thanks for the offer though." The girl still didn't look amused at all. None the less Lion still didn't care either. He then made a quick careful attempt as to not to hurt it but to get the zigzagoon to side and began walking once again through the depressing trees. The sky was darkening so he decided to head down the winding path to the Pokemon Center. "Damn!" Lion said, in a disappointed voice as a drop of rain fell onto his head. Lion then pulled out his poketech and checked for nearby shelters. Anxious for more pokemon he also checked for more nearby pokemon up for trade and sale. Edited by Evan, Nov 17 2009, 05:18 PM.

As you head to the Pokemon Center, you see a familiar girl with a familiar Zigzagoon, but the girl was getting yelled at by an old man. You're far too far away to catch anything that they say, but it's obvious that the man was displeased and the girl was downcast. The Zigzagoon looked sad too. Can't really do much about it though. Maybe take the brat under your wing if you really wanted to, but I doubt you would. So you're looking for trades and shelters, huh? Well, in a place like Nogou, the Pokemon Center is the closest thing since they give temporary rooms to traveling trainers such as yourself. As for the trades, well there's plenty of them. So you're looking for a Gligar over the Poketch, huh? You wind up seeing a goodly number of them, but you find that a breeder is selling what are being advertised to be Gligar eggs and for fairly cheap too, for about $25. Whether or not they'd hatch into a Gligar is a different question altogether. As you walked further, you can see the Pokemon Center in the distance as raindrops start to fall more frequently. Water and grass types almost swarmed all around you. In the grass, even some on the path. The town was nearby so a lot of them had gotten used to a human presence, so they didn't run and hide. Well too much. If you were to pay attention, you'd see that there were quite a variety of pokemon out, enjoying the little rainstorm. Pokemon like Oddish, which usually only uprooted itself during night were out dancing with sunkern, hopip, bellsprout, and similar pokemon. Their cries sounded joyous and grateful at the water from the heavens. And just all around happy. If you wanted to take a look, you probably would get quite a sight, seeing all the grass types dancing around. Of course, if you didn't and continued towards the Pokemon Center, you couldn't go too much further due to a cluster of pink eggs. Of course, they had to be grass pokemon due to the fact that they were dancing around in happiness too. Sure, you could probably easily walk over them or around them. Or if you really wanted to, you could catch the egg pokemon. It's really up to you with what you want to do. Edited by Heidi Falcon, Nov 17 2009, 07:18 PM.

Lion looked at the poketech which had a GODLY amount of Gligars within it's depths. One name stuck out though Gligar eggs for $25. Hmm... it seemed somewhat shady but there was this gut feeling that it was legit. So after a few moments of consideration his decision was made. He was to buy this Gligar Egg. Because even if it wasn't a Gligar how bad could it be? The only thing I can think of that I wouldn't want would be a-- Well--- Come to think of it, I would be satisfied with any pokemon. Rain was picking up to a neat hail as Lion walked down the now somewhat Eerie path fumbling with the poketech trying to make a transaction. Once complete he then began to run. After sprinting a couple of meters he tripped and his supplies went flying. Upon getting up he realized that he had smashes his poketech beyond repair so there was no way to get help. He had also lost his pokeball containing his trusty partner, Turtle. He was devasted and frantically searching throught the water. |

So you're paying $25 for an egg that was advertised as a Gligar egg by a dealer who only operated through the poketech app and not in person. Shady, but I guess a pokemon egg was a pokemon egg. So you keyed it in, made the transaction and you fell. However, the pokemon egg appeared in front of your face when you got up. Of course, the pink eggs saw it and gathered around the egg. In the fall, it looks like the only thing you have left is the egg and it appears that an Exeggcute has adopted said egg as one of their own. As you're searching for Turtle's pokeball, you managed to find everything you had but. However, you catch a blur of red and white in a lone Magikarp's mouth. I guess the stories of Magikarp spawning just about anywhere there's water was true. Of course, the Magikarp is just within your reach, splashing for no reason other than it was the only thing it knew how to do. So you can either try to grab the egg away from the Exeggcute, grab the Magikarp that has something red and white in its mouth, or go get help. |

Lion was hurt at this time. More hurt than most people could imagine standing under. While this may be, at the moment more than just his life was at risk. Not only was there was a Magikarp with his pokeball, but there was also an Exeggcute hording his egg. He then got up despite his now drenched, bloody leg and looked around to focus in on the pouring rain. "Where is it..." Lion said, referring to the egg... "I can't let it break..." He said once again. These thoughts were now running in and out of his head. As the rain continued to pour down ever so hard. "Dammit! Where are you!" Lion was clearly stressed. Just at that moment Lion spotted in his peripheral vision the Exeggcute and then dove for it. |

The Exeggcute surrounded the egg, obviously protecting it. Really nothing to give you the idea it would break. When the Exeggcute saw you approach it, it gently moved backwards and gave you a protective look. Obviously, it saw the egg as a younger version of one of their heads. So you know the egg is most likely safe. Also, I should describe how the area has changed since the downpour started. You found out that there is a somewhat deep pool of water to your left that you came from. There was also a pool of water on the other side of the trail. And you may or may not know that Magikarp are good at jumping. Remember that Magikarp you were chasing after? It jumps out of the water to get to the pool on the other side. However, it didn't notice that you were right between point A and point B. So you pretty much got slapped on the side of your face by a flying fish. Of course, it wasn't really flying. Just jumping. As you react to pain, you can hear the grass types calming down as the sun came out. Of course, the Magikarp is on the trail, flip flopping everywhere, trying to get back to the water. The Exeggcute, however, is laughing at your misfortune of being hit by a flying Magikarp. How mean! |

The sun was finally coming out and everything was much, much calmer but he was still in a predicament. The Magikarp had what appeared to be his pokeball and the Exeggcute had his egg. Well I guess that the pokeball was more important so he began thinking of a plan to get it. Ehh... The dive would almost always work so that's his best bet at getting it back. The plan went into action and Lion glared at Magikarp. He then circled for what seemed like a decade looking for the perfect vantage point. When he finally had the annoying Magikarp in his perfect view he readied himself for the leap. 3... 2... 1...! He dove forward despite his injured and now possibly infected leg with his arms outward going in for the grab. He was intent on getting this pokeball back at ALL costs. |

Quite the situation you have yourself in. Having a Magikarp with your pokeball, and a group of eggs as one pokemon thinking the egg you own is theirs. Oh boy, looks like some mess. When you decided to go after the pokeball, you seemed to go around and towards the Magikarp. The fish wasn't all that dumb, it knew you wanted it. You wanted to catch it and take back the red and white device. As you leaped, the fish swam a little bit in place, hoping to throw you off. Luckily, it didn't, and you catch it. Although the landing was a bit rough. The water wasn't as deep as say your height, so you hit bottom kind of quick. Your leg, seemingly injured, only throbbed with more pain. At least you got the pokeball's captor in your hands. Reaching over, and with a few slaps in the face, you obtained the ball back from the fish. It seemed to toss and struggle about until you let go, or did you? You had a perfect chance for a Magikarp right here, and letting it go might be a waste. Now that you have the pokeball back, maybe it is a good time to start a fight or something. The egg can wait, it doesn't seem to be going anywhere. The Exeggcute were staying in place, still laughing at the fish's tail swatting at your face. |
