(Just letting the next Mod know that the Sableye is badly poisoned, not just regular poisoned.)

Gah, things were starting to get bad now. The duo of the Zangoose and Sableye nailed excellent damage on Sengjin's Pokemon, Hurf Durf more specifically. To throw salt in the wound, he forgot that the Zangoose was immune to status. DOH! Things were not good, but the battle was far from over. Well, that's what he kept telling himself.

Pure offensive went well in the past for Sengjin, but against these two opponents? Not so much... However, Hurf Durf was close to being knocked out, and perhaps it was now the time to focus all attack power on one Pokemon. Besides, that Zangoose was a big threat, taking it out now would certainly help Sengjin in this battle.

"Hurf Durf, hang in there. Focus on your speed, and attack the Sableye and Zangoose with Blizzard. Raymond, use two Bubblebeams on the Zangoose, three if necessary."

This battle was raging! There was claws flying, Blizzards blowing, and toxics poisoning everything that it could. I wish I was there, I’d be taking pictures.. but enough talking, let’s battle. You quickly gave out your commands, first you want Hurf Durf to focus on his speed, and then you wanted him to blast his foes with Blizzards. After that you commanded Raymond, you wanted him to use Bubblebeam twice on Zangoose, and if need be, you wanted him to use it again. Well now that orders had been said, let’s see how this round turned out.

Hurf Durf was the first to go, the Swinub quickly began focusing on his speed, raising it a step higher then normal. After that was complete, he began his double Blizzard attack. The little pig pokemon quickly blasted a good Blizzard attack at his foes. One hit Sableye, but the other barely missed Zangoose. Once the attack cleared, you would see Sableye standing like a statue, he was frozen! Or well, so you thought. Sableye wasn't really frozen,he was just freezing his ass off, and his muscles were tightening.. so maybe they were frozen! No... No they weren't...

Next on the attack list was Sableye, but he was so cold he didn't attack! So, instead of attacking, it just suffered from the poison. After Sableye it was Zangoose’s turn. The pokemon started off by doing an odd looking dance. The female pokemon started spinning in circles, throwing her insanely large clawed hands into the air, and jumping every once and awhile. The move was obviously Swords Dance, and now the pokemon’s attack had been elevated. Zangoose would soon stop the dancing, and would rushing towards Raymond, with her claw raised in the air. She was going for a scratch attack, but Raymond soon put an end to that.

Your little Shellder watched as the pokemon ran towards him, and before the Zangoose could attack, Raymond blasted a beam of bubbles at it. After the first Bubblebeam, Raymond used another. The second Bubblebeam was able to cause the Zangoose to slow down, causing her speed to drop. It didn’t cause the pokemon to faint, and you weren’t allowed another move since you had already used your three-move combo, but one good thing did happen! It looked like Zangoose was finished this round too! You must have burst her bubbles, because she wasn’t attacking anymore this round! Sooo, what would you do next?

You!

Gah, damn these old dudes that got Sengjin into this situation. His concern was not whether he was going to win this battle or not, but how to get out of area after the battle was over. After all, if things went south, then all the old dudes could jump him and beat the living crap out of him. Sure, he was only a teenager, but Sengjin didn't think that his age would stop them from beating him to a bloody pulp.

He tried to keep his mind open to ideas, but there were so many things going on that it was hard to pay attention. Not only is there a battle underway, there's also the case of that Scyther that's trapped in the net. Poor thing. The flying bug creature must be scared for his life, or batshit angry... Anyway, Sengjin got his mind back into the battle. Things went pretty well, he got too caught up in things so he didn't pay much attention to the battle.

"Alright, Hurf Durf, Body slam that Zangoose twice. Raymond, finish off the Sableye with Icicle Spear. After, use Bubblebeam on the Zangoose."

No more Blizzards anymore, for they take far too much energy out of Hurf Durf. It's a super awesome attack, but if only Hurf Durf was stronger, then he'd be able to harness the full power of the move. Moves meant a lot to Sengjin. To him, they are the reasons as to why people win or lose, and while his Pokemon do have a good variety of moves, there's always more room for improvement.

Mental note, do some more damn move tutoring after this!

Boring short paragraph to get into the ref, bla bla. You had alot of things going on here, but don't let your mind stray too far from the actuall battle at hand. Sure that Scyther needed help, wait.. It's in a net? Why isn't it using them scythes to rip the net open?

Let's finish this up, or try too. Remember, not everything as easy as you think. Especially with a set damage calculator. Your Raymond, the Shellder, finished Sableye off easily. Not even more so thanks to the help of the severe poison the ghost type was dealing with. So the Sableye was down and out, leaving the single Zangoose left. Swinub, or Hurf Durf, threw its body towards Zangoose ready to body slam. Zangoose seen the attack coming, and swung both arms at exactly the right time to deflect Swinub away with a strike. Raymond then came in with a bubblebeam, which struck Zangoose very well, and dealt quite abit of damage, despite the level difference.

Zangoose turned to Shellder, and got ready to attack. This left its behind open for a body slam from your precious Hurf Durf, the attack came like a ninja and Zangoose stumbled forwards before crashing onto the ground. Don't get too ahead of yourself however. The battle wasn't over.. Just yet, and Zangoose got up looking even more angry now..

Almost done, just a few more attacks and this battle will finally be over. Then, there's the problem of getting the hell out of there while also finding a way to free that Scyther... Anyway, the Sableye was knocked out and only the Zangoose was left, with only a slimmer amount of health. Things have been going good so far; he kept his fingers crossed and hoped that his luck would continue. If his luck ran out, then he was at the mercy of the large group of men. Fudge.

"Okay, let's finish this Zangoose off with a barrage of Ice attacks. Raymond, use Icicle Spear, twice if necessary. Hurf Durf, use Powder Snow twice. Together, that Zangoose will be gang raped owned by ice!"

His orders were clear, obliterate that Zangoose, but more importantly, embarrass the Trainer that owned it. For the leaders, being beaten in a battle by a fourteen year old kid would certainly hurt their reputation. Perhaps the group of Dunwick look-a-likes would join Sengjin and leave the two bozos that he was battling.

Unlikely, but it could happen.

So I just finished exams, I'm tired, and I am really really bored, so don't expect this particular ref to go into the record books. But I can see that you were at an obvious advantage over your opponent, as there was one of her, two of you, and both your Pokemon had very strong moves spirits, while the Zangoose was just someone's pet thing. Too bad for her.

So naturally you were ready to finish the battle, as were your pig and living shell, so they were wanting it really bad. Of course, Zangoose wanted to not get owned, but there wasn't much she could do about it. So when Raymond started with 5 Icicle Spears to her chest, it wasn't surprising that she was about done. But to make sure, Hurf Durf used a pair of Powder Snows which finished the job. The frozen, incapacitated Zangoose was hovering slightly above the ground. Well, that was done and over with!

Knowing that they had been beaten, the poachers all ran off like a bunch of little babies. Why did they do that? Well, mainly because they suck, and partly because the plot says so, but whatevskis. All that mattered was that you could help the Scyther. Oh yeah, and Dunwick dropped $600 as he ran, so that's cool too.

It's okay, Miles. Hope you did well on your exams!

Sengjin gave a sigh of relief when Raymond and Hurf Durf finished the Zangoose. Though, he wasn't glad that the battle was over, he was glad that the group of guys decided to book it and run their asses back to wherever they came from. And to make it even better, Dunwick dropped six hundred dollars when he ran away. Six hundred dollars! I could buy a new guitar with that...

Anyway, things weren't over, however, because there was still the matter of the Scyther that was still trapped in the net. The young Trainer returned both of his Pokemon back into their Pokeballs and quickly ran over to the net that was keeping the Scyther held captive. Poor thing, it must've been scared out of its mind, seeing how it couldn't even cut the net with its own sword-arm things...

"Hey, don't worry. I'm here to help," said Sengjin, trying to soothe and calm the Scyther. He took out a Pokeball that was on his belt and sent out his Teddiursa, the only Pokemon who could probably cut the net. "Alright, Teddy, use as many Scratches to free the Scyther from the net. Be careful not to hit the Scyther, it's already scared out of its mind."

If things went well, then the first thing that was on Sengjin's mind was to ask the Scyther to join his team. Cause... You know.

Well, guess what? Things never go well when it seems to be that easy! Especially if you're on one of Crosse's plots... ANYWAY. Teddy Scratched at the netting daintily, masterfully avoiding the Scyther's delicate claws of death. After a couple of Scratches, and a little bit of squirming, enough was cut so that the Scyther was able to get out. He zoomed out, and...

Well, he rammed you into the ground.

Yeah, you see, this Scyther did not think you were helping at all! As a matter of fact, you came with the poachers, and, well, that made you a poacher in his eyes. The only difference is that you allowed him to kill you easier! Great job. It's now time for you to either willingly die or take down this dangerous Scyther, because it's blinded with fury!

Well, everything seemed to be going well, perhaps finally- HOLY CRAP!

After Teddy freed the Scyther, the crazy flying bug Pokemon flew right to Sengjin and knocked him to the ground. The blow didn't hurt him, but it was very unexpected. He thought in his head that the Scyther would appreciate the fact that the young Trainer freed it from the net. He thought wrong. Well, the Scyther seemed like it wasn't going to calm down, so catching it was the only solution for this problem.

Sengjin took out Raymond's Pokeball, the obvious choice of what Pokemon to use. Raymond had ice attacks and could put the hurt on the Scyther. However, he remembered that both Raymond and Hurf Durf, both who can use strong super effective attacks on the Scyther, were just in a battle, so that meant that they were in no shape for another fight. So, instead, Sengjin decided to use Teddy. He hasn't seen much action lately, and this battle could really help get some experience.

"Teddy, you're already out of your Pokeball. Focus on your attack, then after, use two Fury Swipes! Move fast and strike hard!

What better way to work a cuddly teddybear back into action than against a horrific insect nearly three times their height, with swords for arms and unsurpassed speed? Mmm... On the plus side; given how stupid this Scyther must be to blind rage at the youth trying to help him out, he might not pose so much of a tactical challenge. Oh, and you have a headstart on this Pokemon, given how he had been captured. But something about the bloodcurdling cry and villainous stare he unleashed as he zipped forward seemed to negate any psychological advantage you might have thought you had...

His Leer indeed lowered your Teddiursa's defense, who had been focusing on increasing his strength. He pumped his arms and calmed his thoughts, trying to temporarily improve the power of his coming moves, even if his guard had been completely thrown off. With a buff and a malus now on the bear's accounts, it was time to get the ball rolling... The very sharp, pointy ball...

A Quick Attack was first, as Scyther's raging assault came into fruition. Teddiursa was sent sprawling from the well-executed technique, and it was only in the aftermath of the attack that he could retaliate. He sprung to his feet, and leapt forth, with an imitative fury not so poorly derived from Sycther's original. His little, prickly claws met Scyther's abdomen (since the bear couldn't really extend his reach much higher) once, twice, three times, before Scyther broke away for a moment.

This proved a temporary release, however, as Teddy was soon upon him again, scratch scratch scratching away. He managed another 3 swipes at the bug's kneecaps before he was forced away, Scyther growing even more irritable and even less sane as the moments passed. This was surely a prime opportunity to call upon strategy to prevail?

Teddy did superbly well this round, managing to do a lot of damage to a Pokemon that's larger in size and stronger. But, of course, size isn't everything (most of the time). Anyway, things seem to be going well for Sengjin, so he decided that this round was going to be the last one. Those goons could suddenly come back and jump Sengjin, that would be unfortunate. Unfortunate indeed...

"Alright, Teddy, let's end this. Use two Scratches on Scyther, then run away while I throw my Pokeball at it."

Sengjin took out both of his Pokeballs from his bag and readily held them in his hands. Once Teddy has attacked the Scyther, the young trainer planned to throw one Pokeball immediately after. If the first attempt failed, then the second one.

In My Little White Room Again
Route 4
[Meadow]

And so it seems that the end of this little plot of mine has finally come to a close; the people who you had tagged along with, Dunwick and his little friends, had proved themselves to not only be poachers, but that they were relatively strong trainers as well. In the end though, you would immerge victorious from the ending of the battle, having defeated both the goons and Dunwick and his boss, who fled upon defeat. And of course, to make things even better, you found a wad of cash in the grass from where they had fled –what luck! But things did seem to take a turn for the worse, when you tried to free the Scyther from his prison, for he too saw you as an enemy and lashed out in fear and frustration. His bladed arms would indeed be dangerous, but you, having fought quite a good amount of hell, thought you could finally take him down and claim him as your own. So you summoned your Teddiursa to fight, and the little one wasn’t going to go down easily, and so the battle begins; the epic finale of this long ass plot which I had you endure. Would it all be worth it in the end?

So, Scyther shot forwards with his amazing speed, and slashed at the little bear with one of his deadly claws. Teddiursa dodged though, just in time, as his bladed arm slashed over his head he fell to the floor, where he proceeded to Scratch at the massive bug’s legs. The creature, irritated and in pain, hissed out and lifted one foot high into the air, which he then threw down upon your little Teddiursa with an odd form of his Strike attack. Teddy, nearly being crushed with the pure weight of the bug, fought beneath his foot and eventually managed to find his way out, which he then proceeded to follow up with a Scratch aimed at his lower abdomen. The massive bug hissed out in frustration, snapping at the small bear with his jaws, as the little one picked himself up and began to run like hell away from the bug so that you could prepare your Pokeball. He ducked for cover as your arm swooped out, throwing the ball out towards the massive bug, which engulfed him in a mass of red light and fell to the ground.

     Shake. Shake. Shake. Ding!

And it appeared as if the RNG did have a slight feeling of luck towards you as that beautiful noise sounded, and now, you were left all alone in this small meadow with your Teddiursa. Not only that, but your ride had fled too, which meant you had no way back to civilization –guess we’ll just have to hitch hike then? Perhaps tutor a little to get your team to build up their health and energy again? Whatever the choice was, it was yours, because you are now officially free of my plot! I’ll add in the exp you won into your profile right now, Teddiursa gained 14 :exp and Scyther got 6.5 :exp . And now, without further or do…

Congratulations, you caught!

Sengjin threw the pokeball, fast and straight, directly at the scyther shortly after Teddy launched his sequence of attacks. The spherical object connected with the flying bug pokemon, forcefully sucking it into the ball. After a few shakes, the pokeball dinged, confirming the capture.

A smile formed from the young Trainer when he went to pick up the pokeball. The scyther would surely be a great addition to his team, especially if he could get his hands on a metal coat. Then, his team would be even more awesome. However, now that the chaos was over, he wasn't sure on what to do next.

He lied down on the ground in an attempt to clear his head and get his priorities straight. He stared at the sky, looking at cloud formations and whatnot, and thought about the kinds of things he should do first. He thought about training his Pokemon more by either battling or more move tutoring; he thought about making money, since he was a greedy little punk.

Anyway, there he lied, thinking.

As you lay there, thinking. A mysterious man appeared, next to him a Kadabra. You sat up, suprised not knowing where he had just come from. He smiled, he didn't seem as menacing as this sounded. "Come with me, you have been selected." He said, with that Kadabara waved its left hand and teleported the three of you to the Tournament of Aegis!

I'm not going to bore you with everything - because you know how the tournament went on. - You didn't do too badly, you got through to the second round of tier 3. Unfortunately, that is where your little journey ended. You had voluntarily stepped out halfway through your battle, and upon defeat the same man who had taken you there appeared once more with his Kadabra. "It is time for you to go, you will be dropped back in Millenia."

With that, all of a sudden you found yourself falling to the ground on your knees. A huge sigh sounded around you. You took a second, and looked up. You had landed in the middle of a battle. "What the- Hey get out of the way!" One boy shouted. Infront of him a strong looking Bellsprout. "Hey! If you want some then we'll both take you down!" Infront of the other guy was a mean looking Nidorino, who scruffed the ground as it snorted at you. Both the boys got closer and looked down at you. "C'mon then, if you want to get involved so badly lets do it."

Wow, that Kadabra could of dropped you in a better place, huh?

Tournament of Aegis, Sengjin participated, but only managed to get fifth place. While he still got a trophy thing and some money, it was bittersweet for the young trainer. After the tournament, some changes were made to his team. First off, cestar was traded away for some money, pokeballs, and also for a charcoal. While Sengjin didn't have a fire pokemon, the sell back value of the item could be worth a lot. Next... Actually, that was pretty much it...

The kadabra teleported Sengjin back to route 4, not in Millenia, and worse, dropped him off right in the middle of someone else's battle. What's even worse than that was that the two trainers, who were battling, seemed to have some... anger issues. Awesome.

Sengjin didn't say anything to the two trainers, but he snickered and grabbed two of his pokeballs from his belt. He sent out two of his pokemon, Teddy and scyther, to take on the enemy nidoran and bellsprout. The young trainer would've liked it if these were wild Pokemon; both of them could be valuable to a certain trainer. But, they weren't, so Sengjin got his mind focused on the battle.

"Alright, guys, let's knock some heads loose. Scyther, use Focus Energy to increase your critical hit ratio. Then, Pursuit on both opponents. Teddy, soften the two of them up by using Leer on both of them," he turned his attention to his scyther, "Scyther, make sure that you attack after Teddy has used Leer on both of them."
