After Sengjin introduced himself, Dunwick grabbed him by the arm and dragged him to the Pokemon Center. It was a little weird for Sengjin's taste, but then again, he was pretending to be someone he wasn't, so it sorta balanced each other out. Eventually, they reached the Pokemon Center and Dunwick finally let go of his arm. But now, Dunwick wanted Sengjin to get on his bike. He thought of it like this: an old dude is asking a fourteen year old to get onto his bike so they can go some place. Yeah, it was slightly sketchy, but it was whatever. Now, Sengjin was about to enter the Pokemon Center, but remembered that his Pokemon were still in that field where they were tutoring earlier. He ran over to his Pokemon, put them back in their balls, and went back into the Pokemon Center; it would've been bad if Sengjin had left his Pokemon there...

Inside the Pokemon Center, the first thing Sengjin did was heal his Pokemon. After, he walked over to one of the PCs and shuffled his party around. He deposited his Spearow and Pikachu because the two of them could use a rest. (or maybe because Sengjin was getting bored of them :P). After depositing his Pokemon, Sengjin was about to leave, until he noticed a scientist person standing and looking aimlessly at other trainers. Soon enough, the man saw Sengjin and motioned him to come over to where he was. Reluctant at first, Sengjin walked over to the scientist and after the man explained why he was there, Sengjin realized that he could trade his meteor that he found awhile ago, for a... thingy. And so, that's what he did, traded his meteor for the Dragon/Electric Poke.

As Sengjin received his Pokemon back from the nurse's counter, a man in the corner caught his eye. A poster near him said something to the effect of "Meteor Collection Event Swap Station: We're coming to YOU!" So.. that Poketch message from before about the meteor trade in, this looks like it was connected to it? A crate of Pokeballs next to the man reassured the thought. Seeing the Meteor in Sengjin's pocket, the man motioned for him to come over. This seemed too good fortune to be true.. could this just be a scam? Getting there, the man greeted him warmly.

"Good day sir! I see by the Meteor you're carrying that you might be interested in trading it in for our Prize Pokemon, right?" The man took a Pokeball from the crate and released it before him. :cestar It was a small, blue, bipedal Dragon Pokemon. There were strange white circles dotted around it's body, from it's head to it's fish-like tail. It cried happily once, then lifted off the floor and started doing circles in the air. A Pokemon with the Levitation ability, it seems.

As the man traded the meteor for the Pokeball in his hand, the dragon seemed to divert from circles everywhere to just circles around Sengjin.

"Ah, it seems that he likes you already. Enjoy your new Pokemon, and thank you for participating in the Midnight Ember Meteor Event!"

(The Meteor has been taken from your Profile and your appropriately leveled Cestar has been added to your Profile. Enjoy and thank you for participating!)

This "old dude" in question was only in his twenties, but it was irrelevant, for you were on a plot and morals didn't matter in those. As you walked out, Dunwick asked if you were ready, and when you nodded, he picked you straight up and chucked you into the side car.

Just two cool dudes. Riding in a motorcycle/side car. Out of Millenia. To Route 4.

As you two studs drove along, Dunwick turned to you. "Alright, kiddo. We're looking for an old jeep on the side of the road, okay? I hope you went to the bathroom while you were in the center, kiddo, 'cause we're gonna be out here a while." He chuckled to himself after that small joke as you two studs continued to drive along.

Eventually, he spotted the jeep you were supposed to be looking for. It was rusty, definitely old, and it looked like it was going to break down any minute. The wilderness-green paint was wearing off, showing rusty iron underneath, and the exhaust pipe was literally hanging by a scrap. And for some reason, the wheel on the back of the jeep wasn't even there. Apparently, Dunwick didn't notice, because he jumped out of his seat and started rummaging through the jeep. He tossed you a bag; or rather, he drilled a bag into your stomach, as you almost got knocked over from the sheer force that Dunwick threw the bag with. "Okay, kiddo. You got a couple things in there. There's three Potions, just in case you need 'em, a 10-foot mesh net, and about a yard of nylon rope. This is all you're gonna need, besides your Pokemon of course. Let's go kiddo." He beckoned you to follow him.

You two walked off into a patch of forest on the side of Route 4. After about three minutes of walking, Dunwick held up his hand in a signal to three men that dressed just like him. They were all large, had black biker jackets and faded jeans on, and they looked like they could punt you. Dunwick introduced you: "Okay, kiddo. This is the whole group. Don't bother with names; just think of them as your older brothers, okay? They've been doing this for a while kiddo, so don't hesitate to ask them stuff. Men, this is the rookie that signed up to play." It might be prudent to just ask the questions to Dunwick, since the other three looked like they were there for business. They nodded to you without saying anything and walked into a different part of the forest with Dunwick. You were just standing there, waiting for something to happen.

{This next part requires a GMod or higher to ref you, but after this next ref, you can request me again.}

After getting his Cestar from the man in the Pokemon Center, Sengjin left the building and rode with Dunwick. During the drive there, Sengjin didn't make any small talk with Dunwick. He was beginning to think that maybe doing this was a bad idea, but it was too late to turn back now; might as well go along with it.

Dunwick spotted a jeep and pulled over on the side of the road. He got off his bike while Sengjin stayed inside the side car. As he was rummaging through the jeep, Sengjin got out and thought that he could make himself useful by helping search whatever Dunwick was searching for. However, right as Sengjin got up, Dunwick threw a large bag at his stomach, knocking the wind out of him and almost toppling him over. He shrugged off blow and looked inside the bag. Three potions, a ten foot mesh net, and nylon rope; just like he said.

Now, both of them left the rode and followed this trail that led into the forest. After walking for several minutes, several men suddenly appeared, all dressed like Dunwick. Soon after, Dunwick introduced the men to him and he introduced himself also.

While nothing was really happening, Sengjin thought it'd be a good idea to talk to the other guys of the group. Maybe by doing so, he'd get an idea of what he was doing. He walked over to one of the guys and shook his hand, firm grip to show that he wasn't just a teenage.

"Yeah, so, it's a nice day to... be doing what we're doing, right?" said Sengjin, trying to make conversation and whatnot. "So, when did you get into... what we're doing? Do you... enjoy it?"

Well, this is interesting. A bunch of guys that could obviously kick your ass are teaming up with you and getting lost in the woods to try and find something. Maybe would shouldn't make plesent conversation because your hunting for something, but then again, that's your choice. You asked your questions and Dunwick gave you a stern look for a minute. He didn't really feel like talking but at the same time, he knew that sooner or later, you would have asked. The ground stopped for a second to allow Dunwick to explain what was going on.

"Well, me and the gang here go and look for Pokemon that are rather rare and capture them for other trainers for a small price. It's a rather fun job and it has some pretty awesome perks, like getting to travel around the world with my gang. You're more than welcome to join us as a full time member whenever you want. Just let me know if you want to. As for what we're looking for right now, it's a Scyther. We've been looking for it for a few days now and haven't been able to find it but I'm sure that with you with our gang, we should be able to find it in no time at all." Dunwick explained to you.

Well, that makes them seem a little less suspicious of any criminal deeds that you could have been helping them with. So on the giant group of guys went. Through the woods to find a Scyther for some Pokemon person of some type of importance that you'll probably never meet ever. And if you did meet them one day, that's probably be an awkward meeting.

Anyways, you and the gang continued your walk and after some time that is unknown of, you came to a large grassfield that was filled with roaming Pokemon. If you couldn't find a Scyther in here, you'd have to be pretty blind seeing that one was about 20 feet away from you. And if you looked close enough, you'd see that it was completely trapped in a net and that Dunwick and the gang has left you completely and just left you there by the entrence/exit to the woods. Well, that was nice of them. Wait a minute, if you looked over at the Scyther again, you'd notice that there was a group of people dancing around like some primative people that just caught dinner for the rest of the week.

Anyways, one person in the group of people, who looked a lot like Dunwick, held up a knife and looked as if they were about to stab the poor Scyther. Well, that's no way to make friends with someone's future Pokemon. Wait a minute, dancing around in cirlces, threatening knives, biker outfits, and suspicious intel? This people couldn't be nice after all! They were Pokemon Poachers and they're about to poach that Scyther! It's up to you to save the day! You could fight the grunts of the group that were the closest to you or just hightail it and run. It's your choice and I hope you choose the more noble option. But anyways, good luck and try not to do anything too stupid.

Oh, please, Mer, no one can kick my ass. No one.

Or maybe they could, anyway...

Soon after Sengjin asked the guys his question, Dunwick was the one to explain what they did. While he didn't go into too much detail about what the group does, his summarization of what Dunwick explained was that these guys catch Pokemon and sell them to other Trainers. It didn't seem like too bad of a job for him, perhaps he could do this in his own free time. He'd make some more money, and be able to buy stuff. Like some new shoes. Or a button-up shirt. Or another pair of jeans.

After thinking about spending lots and lots of money on things, he focused his attention back to the group. The group of guys walked further into the forest and behind them, Sengjin followed. They were on the search for a Scyther, and the young Trainer hoped that it wouldn't take too long. Yes. Walking around, aimlessly in a forest, in hopes for a rare, strong Pokemon. Easy.

The group reached a plain grassland, filled with wild Pokemon roaming about. Sengjin was looking around and the first thing that caught his attention was a Scyther. A damn Scyther. This was certainly going to be a lot easier than anticipated. But, he saw that it was held captive in a net and some people were dancing around the Scyther. Were they happy? Sengjin didn't know, but it was a certainly strange sight for him.

A man, who looked like Dunwick, left the group and stepped on towards the Scyther... with a knife in his hand. At first, Sengjin didn't really think much about it; he thought that he was going to free the Scyther. But, as the man got closer and closer, he was starting to realize that he was up to no good. That Scyther was in danger of being killed severely injured and Sengjin realized that he needed to leave this group, but more importantly, help that Scyther. He took all of his Pokeballs that were on him and sent out all of his Pokemon. Shit's about to go down, but he had no clue how bad it was going to be, so sending out all of his Pokemon seemed appropriate for the situation. A battle was inevitable, but Sengjin was ready. There were a lot of big buff guys in the group, but Sengjin hoped that his Pokemon would come out on top.

All Pokemon were out of his Pokeballs and weren't entirely sure what was going on, but after Sengjin explained the situation, they all got ready for battle. Even Sengjin's Cestar, who even though was new to the team, seemed to be loyal to Sengjin. Awesome.

"Hurry, Beebee, use Poison Sting to knock that knife out of that guy's hand." said Sengjin.

For now, he didn't give any other orders to his Pokemon. Sengjin knew nothing about the other guys' Pokemon, and didn't want his own to waste their energy. Instead, he waited to see their Pokemon and think of a strategy when all Pokemon are revealed. He hoped, though, that they wouldn't surprise attack him.

Woohoo, fun battle time! Anyway, Beebee, or whatever you call your weapon of mass pwnstruction, lifted his stinger up and fired a quick Poison Sting at the supposed Dunwick's hand. With an accuracy and range that was completely typical of a Pokemon as badass as Beedrill, it struck the knife perfectly and as it flung out of his hands, injected itself into a nearby tree. The supposed Dunwick looked around, flabbergasted and angry at the same time. He fixed upon you and your five Pokemon, because you decided that being inconspicuous was not the best plan apparently. Of course, Dunwick and the group had no idea that you weren't the rookie they were looking for in the first place, so they were all quite surprised with what they saw, and they instinctively pulled out their Pokeballs.

Only the supposed Dunwick and the supposed leader of the poaching group didn't pull out their Pokemon, but five grunts ran toward your location, chucking out the little orbs all the while. The first grunt let out a Sneasel, the wily little black demon. As the second one ran up, he flung a Pokeball revealing a Poochyena, which seemed a little wimpier than you would have thought a huge biker would have. The third grunt released a Cacnea, which seemed about right. The fourth grunt chucked a Duskull at the ground, and the creature moved around silently and ominously. The final grunt, who was a little more overweight than he was muscular, panted as he finally made it to his position, and released the biggest Pokemon of all of them: a Rhyhorn. Yeah, these Pokemon were so typical of a biker gang or a group of grunts that it amazes even me. Anyway, it's time for an epic battle. Good luck!

As Dunwick's group of guys sent out their Pokemon, Sengjin observed each of them and was thinking about who should attack who. There were a few Pokemon that seemed like it could be an easy knock out, but there were so many of them, that it was hard to think of a strategy that could work. So, he decided to play it simple and go for the type effectiveness. The Rhyhorn was the first Pokemon that caught Sengjin's attention. With a quad weakness to Raymond's Bubblebeam, it was a good opportunity to get the early lead in the battle. Next, was the Cacnea, which Hurf Durf's Blizzard could completely obliterate it.

"Okay guys, this is going to be a big battle," he relayed to the group. All of Sengjin's knew that this battle was important, so they were ready to give over nine thousand percent. "Raymond, use two Bubblebeams on the Rhyhorn, use three if it's still standing. Hurf Durf, use two Blizzards on the Cacnea. If it's still standing, then use Body Slam to hopefully take it out. Teddiursa, use Fury Swipes twice on the Sneasel. Beebee, you use Fury Attack twice on the Sneasel. If it's still standing, use another Fury Swipes. Cestar, use two Dragonbreaths on the Poochyena and one on the Duskull."

I had to actually mentally prepare myself for this battle. I even wrote up my plan for all the attacks first before I began. And you know what was amazing? Even with the sheer number of attacks that were performed, not one was a critical. I'm not even kidding. But some interesting things did happen, as you will soon find out as you read on!

First up was Raymond and his multi-Bubblebeam assault that would surely knock out the monstrous Rhyhorn due to quadruple resistance, right? Well, for now, you would be wrong if you thought that, for Rhyhorn didn't even have his eyes set on his assaulter, but on his prey: Beebee. Beebee was preparing for her first set of Fury Swipe attacks, but she never actually got to attack Sneasel because a giant living blockade was in the way. So she did what any Pokemon battling another Pokemon would do, and that was to attack the blockade in front of her. She got five hits in, and with her level bonus she did decent damage despite the level of resistance.

Unfortunately this blockade was alive. The Rhyhorn stared at her as she scratched his arm up a little bit, and she looked up to see a horn ramming into her stomach. The Rhyhorn's Horn Attack knocked Beebee onto the ground. She didn't have enough time to get up, though, as the monster Belly Flopped onto her. Raymond freaked and fired a Bubblebeam at the Rhyhorn before he could get himself up, and knocked the Rhyhorn off of Beebee, who was fine other than her broken butt stinger. Half of it was dangling by a little piece that held it together, and luckily, the butt stinger didn't have many nerves in it, so Beebee was ready to fight once more. And look at that! The Rhyhorn was knocked out too!

Now onto Hurf Durf and his opponent the Cacnea. By chance they were both going to attack each other; Hurf Durf because his master knew type trumping, and Cacnea because his master did not. Cacnea fired a quick two Poison Stings at Hurf Durf, which did practically nothing in terms of damage. Unfortunately, it did poison your Swinub, so that sucked. Slowing down the poison with the cold energy forming around him, though, Hurf Durf flung a massive Blizzard at Cacnea. Cacnea, once again with a type weakness, was hit hard. I mean, how do you dodge a freaking Blizzard? Therefore, it was no surprise that Hurf Durf's second Blizzard knocked the spiky Pokemon out.

Next came the assaults of Teddy and Beebee. Teddy began by running at Sneasel and using a Fury Swipes. She struck nothing. for Sneasel was already behind her after using Quick Attack, and he slammed into Teddy with quite a force. It wasn't very useful since this Sneasel sucks and therefore he did less damage. Beebee, who had gotten up by now, noticed Teddy getting drilled into the ground, flew up behind Sneasel and striking him with two Fury Swipes! The first set became four attacks, and the second set became five attacks, with no breaks in between the two. Sneasel, after suffering heavy damage from behind, turned around and proceeded to Screech at Beebee, who reeled in pain. The crafty Pokemon followed it up with a Scratch at your Beedrill, which did minimal damage due to level differences and such. Teddy, noticing that Beebee was getting her ears blown out, came to the rescue and dealt the final four blows of his Fury Swipes to shut Sneasel down.

Unfortunately, Cestar wasn't so lucky. Cestar managed to get in one Dragonbreath at the Poochyena, who took it without much resistance for some weird reason. However, the Duskull, who would have been a target later in the attacks, used a quick Disable on Cestar's Dragonbreath. Cestar then proceeded to stare blankly into space, as there was nothing to do at that point. Poochyena and Duskull, however, had plenty to do. Duskull fired two odd Thunderbolt-like things at Beebee, who was powerless to stop the attack. The two Night Shades did a surprising amount of damage. As she was knocked back from the blasts, Poochyena slammed into her right side and knocked her down. He then slammed into her again, and after all the assaults, Beebee finally went down. It only took a massive level difference, a Rhyhorn, a Screech, and seven attacks. No big deal.

Anyway, hope you had fun reading this, because it took me like two hours to make it up and do all the calculations. If you didn't, well too bad, because it probably only took you ten minutes max to read this.

Two hours, eh? Well... thanks =D

Anyway, everything seemed to go pretty well for the battle. Sengjin's Pokemon were able to knock out three of the opponents Pokemon, however, they also knocked out Beebee. Poor Beebee, it seemed like she was always the first one to be knocked out in the battle. No matter, though, her fainting won't be in vain. Sengjin returned Beebee back into her Pokeball and placed it on one of his belt pockets.

Two Pokemon were left, and Sengjin clearly had the advantage. If everything went according to plan, then this battle should be over, and he should be able to save that Scyther. And so, the young Trainer thought of a plan to take down the rest of the Pokemon. One thing was certain, his Pokemon were packing some power.

"Okay, Hurf Durf, keep it up with the Blizzards. Use two on the Duskull and one on the Poochyena. Raymond, use two Bubblebeams on the Duskull. Teddy, use three Fury Swipes on the Poochyena and Cestar, use Thundershock three times on the Poochyena."

{I decided to adopt a different system of doing the :exp , so I'm going to make the calculations from the last turn right now.}

:beedrill gains 9.5 :exp and now has 12.9/14 :exp left over!

:teddiursa gains 7.2 :exp and now is Level 13, with 5.5/13 :exp left over!
:cestar gains 7.2 :exp and now has 7.2/11 :exp left over!

Somehow I feel like being able to use a virtually impossible-to-dodge move on a target should be unfair. (READ: Blizzard) Yeah, you were pretty much crushing your opponents, who were all dumbfounded at how strong the rookie was. It seems getting crushed wasn't part of their agenda. Pity.

Anyway, it was down to only Poochyena and Duskull against four of your Pokemon. The battle at this point might as well be considered over, but your Pokemon didn't really care. As you gave orders, they all moved into position to annihilate the remaining two foes. Cestar went first for some reason. It managed to fire off one Thundershock, aimed for Poochyena. As it zipped toward his target, the Poochyena dodged nimbly as Duskull Disabled Cestar's Thundershock. Once again, Cestar's eyes glazed over as it had before, since no other diversity in attack was issued. But anyway, back to Poochyena. After the dodge, the little dog ran... smack into a Blizzard. Hurf Durf changed his attack sequence when he saw that Poochyena was running amok, and it worked; Poochyena was knocked back enough to let Teddy execute his attacks.

When Teddy reached the little dog, well, let's just say he didn't stop between his attacks. His first Fury Swipes, striking three times, led into the next, and into the next, without any delay. He struck a total of nine times, leaving bloody scratches etched into the Poochyena's fur and skin. The dark dog didn't get back up either after the attacks. Duskull saw this and went straight for Hurf Durf. He fired a Night Shade bolt at the Swinub right before getting blasted with a Blizzard assault. The ghost fired another one and Hurf Durf did the same. Taking into account that he wasn't the center of attention at the moment, Raymond waited until just after Duskull was hit by the second Blizzard to fire the first Bubblebeam. Unfortunately, Duskull wasn't about to get hit by the second Bubblebeam, so he managed to dodge the second one.

So it was very obvious that you were going to win now. But the Duskull isn't down yet. One more wave attacks should do it in, and maybe this time Duskull won't disable Cestar's moves!

"Of course it's still alive," Sengjin thought to himself. He thought that the entire barrage of attacks would knock out the rest of the Pokemon, but apparently he thought wrong. Anyway, he also realized that his Cestar had the move Taunt, which would have stopped that Duskull from using Disable again. Fudge.

No matter, though, the battle was nearly over and Sengjin could tell that the guys did not expect him to have such strong Pokemon. Oh, the benefits of move tutoring. Anyway, the plan.

"Okay guys, this battle is cake. Cestar, Taunt that Duskull to prevent it from using Disable and being a pain (Not that it's really going to matter anyway). Raymond, two Bubblebeams on the Duskull. If, for some reason, the Duskull is still standing, Hurf Durf, obliterate it with a Blizzard."

This battle was certainly over, but there was still the problem of the group of Dunwick look-a-likes. They easily outnumbered him, but they were also Pokemon-less. If things went south, the young Trainer hoped that his Pokemon would still be able to fight.

It looks like you finally figured it out, eh? Now it was time to finish off the opponent, who was pretty much down for the count, but I decided to be a raging ass and not let you win the last turn. But that's okay, because you were obviously ready to end this battle. You also made an important observation: you were tiny and young, while your opponents were massive rapists poachers. There were also five of them. Yeah... have fun with that.

Meanwhile, I'll have fun with destroying the final opponent, I guess. The Duskull's consciousness was wavering at this point, between unfocused to focus. It was confusing itself, blinded with the many attacks sent against him. Cestar taunted him, which was essentially useless since Duskull wasn't paying attention, and then Raymond fired the easy Bubblebeam. Duskull was hit and went flying to the foot of his trainer, who was yelling some things that might not be allowed on this site. Or in humanity. Whatever.

So that was a pretty abrupt ending, but why? Well, probably because you had to continue fighting! Seeing that their grunts were all owned by your posse, Dunwick and The Leader (I haven't come up with a name yet) stopped wailing on the poor, trapped Scyther and walked over to you. "Well, it looks like you losers can't take this punk out on your own, so it's time for me and our leader here to take him out. It's a shame; you could have been great." Dunwick was prepared to fight, and so was The Leader. They both threw out their Pokemon: Dunwick owned a Sableye, while The Leader had a typical Zangoose. Now it was time to continue, and by some magical force you could only have two Pokemon on the field during this battle (You can thank Crosse for this) so choose your two and GET ON WITH IT!!! /Monty Python reference

Just when he thought everything was over, everything wasn't over... The leader of the group and Dunwick stepped up and sent out their Pokemon, ready to finish the job. Sengjin, on the other hand, was flabbergasted, thinking that he was done battling. Apparently he wasn't, so he kept out Raymond and Hurf Durf out while he returned the rest of his Pokemon back into their Pokeballs. While having all of his Pokemon out would surely be more beneficial, he at least had some respect to keep it a fair battle. And Crosse is making me, but whatever.

"Raymond, use Toxic on both the Sableye and Zangoose. Then follow it up with an Icicle Spear to the Sableye. Hurf Durf, obliterate the two with a Blizzard on each of them. Then use a Body Slam on the Zangoose to *hopefully* paralyze it."

Since it was a two on two, Sengjin figured that Toxic would help by slowly withering down the enemy. Like, in his previous battle, if he used Toxic on the Duskull, then perhaps it would've been knocked out instead of living with just a slimmer amount of health. Still, though, Blizzard should do a good amount of damage, even against that Sableye who has no weaknesses. Damn Sableye.

So this battle was quickly becoming a test of endurance at this time, really attempting to make you show what you were made of in the long run. Yet, you seemed to be ready to take this fight on without a qualm about the continous nature of the fight. Your orders were given and your Pokemon ready to execute without a flaw. Of course, things that you couldn't help were definitely in action that it was too late to recognize now that you had given your orders. Your Shellder companion would soon sport out the poisonous toxin and it would land on both the opponents. Both of them feeling the effects of the attack as it seeped into their skin. Yet, as the Sabeleye became poisoned the Zangoose would seem to let it fall off...unaffected.

The Zangoose had a natural immunity to the poison ailment. Of course the Sableye took the poison in affect. But the attack had counted like two attacks, it's a shame it was an attack that was wasted. The Icicle spear attack had been effective on the Sableye, a good call on your end.

Your Swinub though, was quite skilled...the attack "Blizzard" a difficult move to master, would be effective against BOTH Pokemon. A great strategic advantage. The Zangoose quickly springing back into action with it's fury swipes. Angry black claws digging across the shellder's shell. Even the swinub would feel the pain of the attack. Of course the Sableye would also attack as well, a Night Shade inflicting on both your Pokemon...a devastating attack for higher level Pokemon. Of course, this battle was a mess with just a whole bunch of fire power and no strategy in it..as evident in the fact that you had no idea about the Poison immunity. So the fact of the matter was, you might lose this battle if you didn't take more care in selection of your moves...instead of just flexing muscle.
