Sengjin was walking around Millenia Town, searching for something to do. He stayed away from the bad parts of the town; he had a bad experience a few years ago, so he was determined to stay in the good parts of the town. He walked around and got to a place where there were several trees. It wasn't like a forest, it looks like somebody randomly placed these trees here... And with these trees, came a lot of bees. A swarm of Beedrill were chasing after a Pikachu, who was running for his life. Sengjin hadn't seen Pokemon brutality before, so this was a sight to see. He took all four Pokeballs from his belt and released all of his Pokemon. Sengjin was a little excited about this battle. it would be a four on five and it would be so freaking AWESOME! "All right guys, we need to save that Pikachu. Hurf Durf, focus on your Accuracy and then use a Blizzard on the Beedrill. Try to hit as many Beedrill as you can. Blizzard is a wide move so you should be able to get at least two of them." Sengjin smiled, he can now finally see how Blizzard is going to do in battle. "Spearow, after Hurf Durf uses Blizzard, I want you to use Aerial Ace on the first two Beedrill that you see. After you land your Aerial Aces, make sure you get back to our side of the battlefield. I don't want you to get gang banged by the other four Beedrill." Sengjin then turned his attention to Raymond. He had a little bit of trouble thinking of how to use him. "All right, Raymond. Your job is to soften up the Beedrill. Focus on your accuracy and use a Toxic on the first Beedrill you see. Maybe the one on the far right since it seems like it's the strongest of the five." And then finally, it was to Teddy. The Bear Pokemon could only inflict damage by getting close to the Beedrills and using a physical move. That was too risky. "Teddy, I want you to go to the Pikachu and help get rid of the Beedrill that's on its tail. If you get close enough to a Beedrill, use a Scratch attack on its face or wings. If we can immobilize it, then this battle will be slightly more in our favor." Hopefully the strategy would work well. There's a total of ten Pokemon, and there's bound to be a few mistakes. Hopefully, all of the Beedrills would make them. And out of all of this, Sengjin bought five lottery tickets. How neat! |

In My Little White Room Again
|
((OOC|| I love how chaotic I made this! If I happened to miss anything just let me know so I can correct it)) Alright, let’s begin this epic battle against the Beedrills without wasting another moment! So with your orders ringing in the ears of your team, all of them began their assault on the menacing bees with haste. But since it would be near impossible to describe the outcomes of the attack because of the frenzy at hand, I’ll go by Pokemon by Pokemon in explaining how your first round went. First off, we have your Teddiursa. The little bear nodded at your orders, knowing that it would be risky to flat out attack the enemy. His mission now, was to rescue the wild Pikachu that was ducking and diving from the fury of bees that were trying to pierce him with the painful stingers. It was quite funny, for Teddy went all commando after hearing your orders. The little bear crouched in the grass, and quickly but stealthily made his way to the electric mouse, occasionally ducking in and out of the higher patches of grass. Eventually, he arrived besides the Pikachu and began speaking to him in his foreign tongue, persuading the creature that he was his ally. The little mouse nodded, and they began their attack. The Pikachu fired off two Thundershocks into the air, but only managed to hit one Beedrill. Luckily, she fell from the sky and crashed into the ground –allowing Teddy to approach and slash up her face. He managed to blind the wasp in one eye before it flailed and made its way into the air again, flying around crazily as blood stung her right eye. Time for Hurf Durf! The little Swinub I traded to you a loooooong time ago! It’s nice to see how strong he has gotten, and I must applaud you on teaching the little guy Blizzard, but let’s now see how his first true attempt of the move turned out. The little creature hummed slightly as he calmed his mind to focus on his accuracy, and then, a massive white cloud was spawned from the nothingness and blasted across the field smacking two of the Beedrill hard. The bugs twitched from the frigid cold, but with irritation seething within them they decided to attack immediately thereafter. One came from behind your Swinub, and smacked him with a simple Strike, the strongest of the bees though (the other that was hit by blizzard) flung herself at Hurf with a Fury Attack and hit the small creature two times with her stingers. After Blizzard had died down and the field had become visible again, Spearow went into action immediately. The vicious bird locked eyes with the youngest Beedrill, and quickly disappeared from sight. Confused, the Beedrill spun around in place and then out of nowhere your avian striked him in the back. The wasp fell to the ground, allowing Spearow to focus on the next Beedrill. This time though, when he performed Arial Ace, he attacked from above and unfortunately him and the Beedrill crashed into the ground. The Beedrill managed to recover quickly though, for he lifted himself off the ground and turned to Spearow to fire a Poison Sting to the creatures face. Spearow squawked and shook his head, brushing off the pain, and then took flight to get away from the chaos. Finally we have Raymond. The little shellfish looked up into the sky at all of the Beedrill that swarmed about, his pink tongue licking at the air. There were so many to choose from! It was hard to tell who had been attacked and who hadn’t, but, the small clam decided to attack the one that had fallen after Spearows attack. He concentrated, humming a little, and then fired a massive purple stream of gunky water at the enemy. The attack hit straight on, actually causing the bee to crash into the ground once more (because he was trying to take flight again after the attack). Unfortunately, since Beedrill are part poison type, the Toxic attack did hardly anything…except for pissing the bee off even more. Infuriated, the wasp lunged across the grass towards Raymond –stinger’s ready- when he was engulfed by electricity; it seems as if Pikachu was also looking out for you and your team now. Your first round went pretty well, but the battle is still hardily over.

OOC: Oh wow, I didn't even know that you were the person that I got Swinub from. By the way, what happened to Trapinch? By the way, my Swinub still has +1 Accuracy for one more turn and I think Blizzard should have done a lot more damage. With STAB and the level differences, it should do at least 18 damage. But I don't want to complain, you did spawn all these Beedrills after all A lot had certainly happened, but luckily none of Sengjin's Pokemon had taken that much damage. Teddy did a good job helping out the Pikachu, Hurf Durf also did a pretty good job with his Blizzard, Spearow did great by landing its two Aerial Aces, and Raymond did... alright. The Pikachu was also doing a good job; it saved Raymond from being attacked by a Beedrill. The battle was now a five on five. Hopefully Sengjin will be able to defeat all Beedrills quickly, the Tournament of Aegis is right around the corner. Holy crap, it's in a week  "Hurf Durf, you're up first again. I want you to focus on your Special Attack. Then after you've done that, I want you to use a Blizzard on as many Beedrills as you can hit. In fact, aim the Blizzard right in the middle of the pack of Beedrills." Sengjin hoped that Blizzard would do a lot of damage to the Beedrills. It's a very powerful move and with a focus on Hurf Durf's Special Attack, it should do a bit more damage. "All right, Spearow you're up next again. I want you to focus on your Attack and use two more Aerial Aces on the strongest Beedrill. You should do at least 18 damage on the Beedrill (Yes I calculated that myself :P )." Turning his attention to Raymond. "Raymond, I want you to focus on your Special Attack too and use a Bubblebeam on the strongest Beedrill. And if you see an opening, use Clamp on any Beedrill." "Teddy, I want you and Pikachu to stay together and form a tag team." Sengjin looked at the Pikachu, "I think that Thundershock and Scratch move works well, don't you think?" The Pikachu looked at Sengjin. Its ears wiggled and looked back at the Beedrill; he assumed it was a yes from the Pikachu. Now that all of his orders were given, Sengjin waited and watched his Pokemon perform their moves. He knew that they were using a lot of energy, but he wanted to get this battle done quickly. Hopefully it'd be done quickly; hopefully Sengjin could catch all of these Beedrills. |

In My Little White Room Again

((OOC|| lol, well Shadow traded me his TM Avalanche for Trapinch a looong time ago, before he left. ^^; I’ll add back in the accuracy, and I will correct the damage done to the Beedrills in this post for ya. And again, if I mess something up, just let me know!)) Yeeeeees holy crap indeed. Everyone desperately wants more training done before the tournament, and your one of the lucky ones my friend. Being all alone on your journey, able to post whenever you get the chance and not having to wait on any friends or allies who are joined in your journey that take a month and a day to post once (*points at otto*). But yes, only a week left! Time for everyone to start stressing out and pulling out their hair, especially when final exams start the same day! [/rant] Ehem. Well to continue with your battle, I will use the same method as before: describing how everyone on your team attacked in this mass of chaos one at a time. And so, this time we will start with Hurf Durf, my old little Swinub. The little creature trotted forward at the sound of your voice, and calmed his mind to focus on his special attack. He watched the bees jot left and right and up and down, frenzied all over the place. You wanted him to aim in the middle? Good idea. He summoned the ice cloud to form from behind him once more, and it scampered across the field and hit four out of the five Beedrill. Very good accuracy this round! But there is one tiny problem…the Beedrill that avoided the attack happened to be the strongest, and now she dove in as hit Hurf with Fury Attack once more, this time striking him three times. Spearow was next. The small bird closed his eyes and calmed his mind, focusing on the power of his attack. Attack the strongest, that was your command…and so, the moment his eyelids burst open he shot forth towards the female Beedrill –scoring a perfect hit with Aerial Ace. He made a U-turn to gain more momentum for his second attack, and then hurled himself at the bee once more. This time though, the Beedrill was ready for a counter attack. Upon impact, the Beedrill fired a nasty String Shot at your Spearow causing him to fall out of the sky. The webs held his wings to his body; he was unable to fly, and was completely open to the Beedrill’s next attack. The wasp fired a Poison sting to his face, causing some damage, and quickly retreated to rejoin the group in the sky. As the Beedrill took flight once more, she was attacked yet again. Before she could even fathom her next plan of attack, she was smacked sharply by a Bubblebeam. She hissed, and turned to face your little clam friend…then lunged. She began to swipe at his shell with Fury Swipes, occasionally hurting the poor little thing…but that was when Raymond remembered the second part of his attack: Clamp. The clam Pokemon grabbed a hold of one of the Beedrills arms, causing her to hiss out in pain. She tried to fly off again, but the Raymond’s weight kept her grounded. Seeing their family member in peril, the other Beedrills decided to swoop down and try to free her…when they were intercepted by Pikachu and Teddy. Two Thundershocks were shot off, each of them impacting one of the four Beedrills that had attempted to attack Raymond. The two fell like they had before, leaving them open for Teddy. The small bear began to claw at their body, totally blinding one Beedrill and slightly blinding the other. The blinded Beedrill had become hysterical, swinging her arms around aimlessly attacking the air…accidentally hitting another Beedrill who I return fired a sucker punch in anger which caused her to fall to the ground…K.O’ed. The second strongest Beedrill was furious at the fact that Teddy had caused one of his brethren to attack another, and so he flung himself at the small bear and fired a Poison Sting to the bears face. The little one unfortunately had become poisoned…. This is turning into a very interesting battle….

This battle seemed to be fairly easy, and hopefully it'd stay that way; I hope I didn't just jinx it there. Hurf Durf landed a superb Blizzard on the Beedrills and did massive damage on them. This battle was going well and hopefully it'll be finished in one final turn. Thinking over his strategy, Sengjin didn't see much of a reason why he should change it; it was working well so far. "Hurf Durf, guess what? You're going to use another Blizzard again, however, I want you to use it if there are at least two Beedrills left, because you're going to attack last, instead of attacking first like how you've been doing for the first few times. If there's only one Beedrill left, then use a Powder Snow on it. If you feel like it could use a Blizzard, then by all means, go for it." Sengjin turned his attention to the rest of his Pokemon. The Beedrills were low in health, so if he could coordinate all of his Pokemon to attack correctly, this battle will be done. "Spearow, use Peck to get the String Shot off of you. If you can manage to get it off of you, I want you to use Aerial Ace on the weakest Beedrill. If you can't get the String Shot off of you, then I want you to use Intimidate on the strongest Beedrill. Try to lower its defense as best as you can." Now to Raymond, "Raymond, I want you to use Clamp on the Beedrill with the most health. After you've done that, one of the Beedrills will probably try and attack you, so use Withdraw and hide inside your shell. Your shell is made out of tough stuff so hopefully it'll protect you." Finally, to Teddy, "Teddy, you and Pikachu are doing great. Teddy, instead of using Scratch, use Fury Swipes instead. You might be able to get in a lot more damage with it and hopefully end this battle." All of Sengjin's commands were done and he waited for their Pokemon to execute them. In fact, Sengjin dug through his bag and took out a Duck Ball. Sengjin had noticed this before, but wasn't entirely sure how it got there. If there were any Beedrills that were not knocked out, then Sengjin might throw his Duck Ball at the Beedrill, maybe doing some damage by whipping the hard ball at it. He also took out all of his Pokeballs and his Ultra Ball. If the strongest Beedrill fell, then Sengjin would use his Ultra Ball on it. If other Beedrills were fully fainted, then Sengjin would also throw his Pokeball at them, in hopes of catching them. So pretty much, if the strongest female gets knocked out (Which should be a level 14, not 13), then I will throw an Ultra Ball at it. If other Beedrills get knocked out, then I'll throw my other Pokeballs at it. I'm hoping to catch as many Beedrills as I can; hoping for all four of them. Or if the Pokemon is less than 25% HP, I'll throw a Pokeball. |

Spearow began to pick at the gooey thread with his beak, slowly but steadily breaking each wire that clung to his body. Once freed he stood straight up, began to flap his wings ferociously, and then allowed his mighty and triumphant caw to fill the hissing air. Annoyed with his dominating stature, one of the Beedrill quickly zoomed his way over to Spearow. Upon seeing this attempt of an attack, Spearow too took flight and began to duke it out with the hissing wasp. Being slightly blinded, Spearow had the advantage and so Spearow had no trouble at all in defeating this opponent with Aerial Ace…unfortunately though, he was unaware of the ambush. After the Beedrill had fallen, two of the remaining Beedrills began their assult on your comrade: the first smacked him hard with a double strike, forcing the bird to collapse into the ground yet again, and then the second went and began to kick him while he was down…or in other words he began to use his Furry Attack. It seemed as though the Beedrills were becoming more and more pissed as time progressed, thus making them more brutal. Raymond (somewhat stunned by the attack on his comrade) paused for a moment, somewhat intimidated by the bees. But then, he turned back to face off with the strongest bee when he was overcame with fear…for the wasp had begun to swipe her stingers against one another as a form of Intimidate. She then lunged; stingers ready, and fired a Poison Sting at him. Raymond luckily though was able to retaliate with a Clamp, and then quickly took cover within his shell. Rather than attacking the withdrawn clam, the female bee decided to move on with the other and attack the bear and the rodent. Pikachu hissed at the bees that flew above, trying to coax them to come down close enough so that he could blast them with a Thunderhock. The strongest Beedrill came forward and swooped down –taking quite a beating from the electrical attack, but she did manage to hurl herself into the Pikachu and began to beat the small mouse with her piercers. Teddy came to the rescue, and finished off the bee with a Furry Swipe to the face, but then he was tackled by yet another Beedrill. This one though, fired a Poison Sting, at the little bear –upping his poisoned status by a bit. Three bees down, two to go. But you had one final thing planned –to capture the fainted. You threw out your Pokeballs, successfully capturing the strongest with your Ultra ball and three Pokeballs at the other.
All went well, except for the fact that this INFURITATED the remaining Beedrills…especially ince you pegged one in the face with the damn Duck Ball…not a good idea…not at all. Since their health were not low enough to use any remaining Pokeball, they still floated about. But that was when. They. Decided. To. Attack. You. The wasp hissed and threw themselves at you, trying to strike at you with their drills. One succeeded, breaking the through your clothes and skin –causing some blood to run down your arm. It was painful, yes, and they continued to swarm around you…but that was when Swinub came into play. The little tyke had waited and waited, trying to find the perfect time to attack the two remaining Beedrills –and I guess he thought that it was the perfect time when they started to attack you. The bees hissed as they were overcame with frigid air, allowing you to successfully capture one. But now, only one bee remained, tired and aching, but still ready to fight. You had no more Pokeballs, so did you plan on just abandoning this after it was defeated or drag it off with you till you can purchase a Pokeball for it? (lol)
((OOC||EXP will be rewarded after the last Beedrill is defeated; Profile is being updated with the four Beedrills)) |

Sengjin smiled when the first three Beedrills were captured; he was actually surprised that he managed to catch all of them. Getting a little too distracted from that, he didn't see the Beedrill coming at him. Not entirely sure what to do, Sengjin did his best to try to cover the blow from the Beedrill. Its stinger stabbed Sengjin and caused him to bleed. He put his hand on the wound, trying his best to ignore the pain. But hey, pain is temporary and Sengjin caught FOUR Beedrill! "All right guys, we got this battle in the bag. Raymond, I want you to use a Bubblebeam and try to hit the Beedrill. Everyone else, keep your distance, this battle should be over quickly." Sengjin then looked over to Hurf Durf, "Hurf Durf, if Raymond misses his Bubblebeam, then use Powder Snow to attack the Beedrill. Twice, if necessary." This battle was done. The only thing that Sengjin was worried about was his Spearow fainting. It was obvious to see that it was low in health and Sengjin didn't want it to faint. Well, he was worried about another thing; his arm! His arm was bleeding and getting to a hospital would be the smartest choice for Sengjin. Or maybe the Pokemon Center. Maybe they also help humans with their injuries; maybe Sengjin should quickly go to a Pokemart and buy some more Pokeballs; maybe Sengjin could ask the Pikachu if he wanted to join his team. Then again, if Sengjin wanted that Beedrill, then he would probably have to carry it or something and that's kinda gross. Carrying a bug is yucky... So yeah, I will take your suggestion :P When/if the Beedrill gets knocked out, then I'll probably buy two Pokeballs, use one on the Beedrill and ask the Pikachu if he wants to join my team. |

Well, there wasn’t much left for you to do. Despite the red rage and fury that was reflecting from his red eye, you could also see that the wasp was becoming seriously exasperated. He faltered in the air a few times, trying his hardest to keep in the air, but then was smacked down by Raymond’s attack. The bee twitched on the disheveled grass, unconscious. Congratulations, you had won the battle.
Now that the battle was over, you went over and scooped up the last fallen Beedrill with the plan of dragging it off so that you could capture it later with some new Pokeballs. But before you could leave, you were approached by the small Pikachu. His ears were perked up, showing that he didn’t fear you or your team, and he began to tug on your jeans. Aw, he wanted to join you! He seemed to understand your current predicament, not being able to actually “capture” him and all, so he just waddled beside you as you began to make your way back up to the Pokemon Centre and the shops that surrounded it. Eventually you made it to the shop, and managed to purchase two Pokeballs, and then off you were to the Center to get Spearow and the rest of your team some much needed medical treatment! As the nurse took your Pokeballs though, she noticed your arm. “My, my, my! “ she said, slightly covering her mouth with her hand, “What happened to you? Go sit down, go sit down you don’t want to lose too much blood (not to mention I just cleaned the floors)! I’ll go get some bandages and antiseptic!” said the nurse before scurrying off. Well, what to do now? You were alone, waiting awkwardly for the hysterical nurse to return with the bandages, you noticed the others in the center. To the left a group of girls giggled amongst themselves while to your right there was what appeared to be two small children engaging in some type of verbal quarrel. You still had time before the tournament, did you desire to gain some last minute training or just ask the nurse for a room to relax until them with your new teammates? Now was your chance, if you wished to book a room, for the nurse and a Chansey had begun to scurry over to you. The Chaney held your Pokeballs, while the nurse carried the bandages in her arms. “Sorry for the wait!” she said before tending to your wounds…. Edited by Crosse, May 26 2010, 04:17 PM.

Sweet deal! Sengjin managed to catch all of the Beedrills and even catch a Pikachu. Although he paid a pretty big price. He got stabbed in the arm by a Beedrill because he threw a Duck ball at it. That certainly taught Sengjin a lesson, only throw Duck Balls at Pokemon that can't hurt Sengjin in any way. After Sengjin dragged the Beedrill to a Pokemart and bought two more Pokeballs, he put Beedrill and Pikachu into them. He also healed his wounds with the help of Nurse Joy and her Chansey. After all of that, Sengjin wasn't sure on what to do next. He was battled out, so maybe he could start move tutoring again. He has new Pokemon and move tutoring could be a bonding experience. Yeah, that sounds like a good idea. He also wasn't move tutoring because of the Tournament of Aegis, move tutoring is just good, yo. But before Sengjin would do all of that, he would eat dinner and go to sleep. The Pokemon Center provided all of that, so that was his home for the rest of the day. The Next Day Sengjin woke up bright and early, ready to start move tutoring. After switching his PC around, he finally got his team set up. He went outside of the Pokemon Center and found himself at the parking lot again. Although, there was a carnival there, so he had to move. Sengjin walked only a short distance away and found himself at a large plain. This was a bit strange for Sengjin. Millenia Town had so many buildings and there was a plain in the middle of it. The spot was great though, perfect for move tutoring. Sengjin released all of his Pokemon from their Pokeballs, ready to start move tutoring.
Now came to the decision on what to teach them. Raymond already started on Brine, but it went slow and he didn't know if he wanted to at the current rate of it. Looking through his Poketech, he searched for moves that Raymond could use. A move that caught his eye was Hidden Power, but he was unsure of how to teach it to Raymond. He would still try it and if it went well, then he would keep going. Spearow was an obvious choice. Spearow was already halfway through learning Double Team, so Sengjin already had a move that he could teach to Spearow. Hurf Durf had a few good moves, Body Slam and Blizzard, but he needed another move. Searching through his Poketech, his options were Earthquake or Hidden Power. Earthquake seemed like it'd be a hard move to teach, but he wanted to try it. He managed to teach Blizzard to Swinub, so hopefully it'll go well. Then to Teddy, he needed to finish teaching Slash to him. Pikachu, Sengjin decided that he would keep the Electric Mouse Pokemon on his team. The move that he was going to teach him was Thunderbolt. Finally, it was Beedrill's turn. Sengjin was going to teach Beedrill how to use Poison Jab. He was thinking about teaching Twineedle, but his Beedrill was only two levels away from learning it. ![]() "All right, Raymond, time for you to learn Hidden Power. This is a unique move because it's not JUST a move. It's a move where it can turn into any type and can deal any kind of damage. This is a unique move so you might have trouble with it. The first thing I want you to do is focus and concentrate on the energy inside of you. Then I want you to bring the energy out and keep it around you. It should be in the form of a sphere and the size of a baseball. Then, here's the catch. The balls of energy around you are going to be a different type than you. The balls of energy shouldn't be water, but they should be something like Grass or Fire. I think for now, you should JUST try to get the balls of energy around you and fire them off. Go ahead and try it when I give you the signal." ![]() "Spearow, guess what you're doing? THAT'S RIGHT! Double Team! Hopefully you remember everything, but just to refresh your memory, here's what's going to happen. You're basically going to fly, but try to create images of you. You can achieve this by using your Aerial Ace speed. That's the two things you need to focus on, speed and creating images of yourself. You can go ahead and start if you want, just fly in the air and practice." ![]() "Hurf Durf, you're going to be taking on another challenge, and the challenge is you learning Earthquake. Earthquake is pretty simple, you create an Earthquake! What I want you to do is focus on your feet. To create an earthquake, you need to jolt a sudden burst of energy into the ground, so I think you should do that at your feet. Remember, a sudden jolt of energy at the ground. Your earthquake should also try to move forward, not to the side or behind. You might end up hurting someone if you do that, so make sure you have plenty of space." ![]() "Teddy, we're going to finish learning Slash now. The move is pretty simple, so I want you to find a tree to practice on. Pretend that the tree is the body of a Pokemon. You want to use Scratch on the vitals of that Pokemon, but you also want to pack a lot more punch into it. If that was a real Pokemon, make them feel your Slash." ![]() "Pikachu, my newest member of the team, you are going to learn Thunderbolt. You already know Thundershock, so we have something to work with. Thundershock is the baby version of Thunderbolt. Instead of sending small amount of electricity, you're going to send a large amount.. What I want you to do is do a simple Thundershock. Then after that, try to increase your power twice as much. Then after that, increase it by another stage. This way, your Thundershocks should get progressively stronger and stronger, which will eventually turn into Thunderbolt." ![]() "Beedrill, you're going to be learning Poison Jab. The attack is fairly simple, you jab at something and hopefully it'll poison. To help you learn this, I'll throw this Duck Ball at you. When I throw it at you, I want you to jab it with your stingers. Think of it like Poison Sting, but packing a lot more punch into it. The Duck Ball never seems to go away, for some reason, so I'll constantly throw the Duck Ball at you" Sengjin moved around, getting enough space for him and his Pokemon. They then proceeded to start practicing their moves. A note to the mods, I'm using my level 14, female Beedrill for the tutoring. Edited by Sheik, May 28 2010, 08:58 PM.

Massive move tutors, eh? Well lucky for you that just so happens to be my specialty! So have no fear, Jsol is.....present. Anyway, with tutors like this we have no time to spare, so on with the ref! First up is Raymond. Hidden Power is a tough move to teach, but it could be well worth it in the end. Raymond looked hard inside himself, searching for....some kind of energy. He wasn't really sure how to do this, never mind form that energy into a baseball sized sphere. Still, he looked. Eventually he found something. He wasn't sure what it was, but it was something. Some undefinable energy. He couldn't really express it or form it or even really grasp it and centre it to one focal point, but it was there. He had a long way to go, but he was on the right track. Hidden Power - 5% Second is Spearow. Continuing his training for Double Team, he took off at Aerial Ace speed. He was going pretty fast by now, with some after images forming behind him. They faded after a couple seconds, but they did stay for longer than before. In fact, a few didn't really fade too much. Looks like he was getting there. However, Double Team isn't just a bunch of after images. No, those images had to move and act like the original, to give the appearance of multiple Pokemon. Still, he was well on his way to completing mastery of the technique. Double Team - 75% Third up is Hurf Durf. Before I begin, I'd just like to express my love for his name, it is quite incredible. Now that we've gotten that sorted out, back to the tutor itself. Earthquake is a strong attack. Very strong. On top of that, it required massive amounts of energy. On top of THAT Hurf Durf won't learn it naturally for quite some time. So you're fighting quite an uphill battle here. Still, the little Swinub gave it his all. He stomped down really hard on the ground and...managed nothing. Well no, not nothing. He managed to hurt his foot. Looks like this would be a hell of a lot harder than originally thought. Earthquake - 1% Fourth on our list is Teddy, the Teddiursa. Huh, this is the second Pokemon I've tutored in a massive tutor session that was once mine, albeit for a very brief period before he was traded away. Teddy looked for a tree, as per your instructions. He found one and set to work. He imagined he was facing a Pokemon. Not any Pokemon, but an Elekid. Not any Elekid either, a specific Elekid that had beaten him senseless under the orders of a sadistic, cruel, evil little boy in a wheelchair. He felt pretty pissed, and Slashed pretty hard at what would be the neck, chest, and soft stomach of the imaginary Elekid. He'd done some good damage, making some nice marks on the tree. Still, it was no Slash. He'd need to Slash a lot harder and make much deeper marks in the tree to master the attack. Slash - 40% Fifth is Pikachu. He was new to your team and didn't really know you very well. These tutors would be a great way to build a close bond and lasting friendship with the little guy. He knew how to Thundershock like the back of his tail, and could generate electricity like no other. Thunderbolt should be a cinch. Or so you thought. Turns out it's a lot harder to control large amounts of electricity than you'd thought. Pikachu started to generate electricity. Then he generated more. And more. And more. Eventually, it got out of control and the electricity went flying everywhere. Luckily the only one hit was Hurf Durf, and due to his immunity to electricity he barely even noticed. Pikachu felt a little down-trodden, but now at least he knew that he can't just make so much electricity and expect to control it the first time. As well, he knew his limit, which was about halfway to Thunderbolt strength. A few more practices controlling it should be helpful. Thunderbolt - 30% Finally, we come to Beedrill. Funny, this is the second time I've tutored Poison Jab recently, and both have been very different approaches. Beedrill knew how to secrete a little amount of poison to the tips of her stingers, and so the concept should just be make more and faster. Simple enough. Well, like all of these tutors, not so simple after all. She tried very hard to secrete a bunch of poison by the time to Duck Ball got to her, but she barely got more than a Poison Sting's worth out by the time she had to jab. Thankfully, she has the jab part down, and the ball flew right back to you. She has the jab, so just work on creating the poison faster and in larger quantities. Poison Jab - 10% |

Progress was going... alright for Sengjin. The one Pokemon that caught Sengjin by surprise was Pikachu. He managed to get a decent jump on Thunderbolt; hopefully he'll keep that rate going. But now, Sengjin stood there and thought to himself. How could he help his Pokemon learn their moves faster? A book on move tutoring would be very handy right now, but who knows where those books are... Raymond had little progress with Hidden Power and that was expected. The move was unknown to Sengjin and he figured that it would take some time for Raymond to learn the move. He searched through his Poketech, looking for more information about the move. The description of the move is that a Pokemon sends many orbs around them and crashes them into another Pokemon; they can also be any type except Normal. Well, how in the hell could Sengjin teach that? He searched for tips on the internet, trying to find anything that could help him teach Raymond. As luck would have it, Sengjin managed to find an article of a person who was a "master" at teaching Hidden Power. Master or not, Sengjin was glad that he found something. ![]() "All right, Raymond, time for some more move tutoring. Hidden Power is a move that's... Hidden! I guess that's why it's called Hidden Power. To find the "Hidden Power" in you, I want you to meditate and relax. Breathe calmly and find that energy inside of you. It may take some time, but you're bound to find the energy. Once you find that energy, you need to control it and bring it out of you. It should be in the form of a ball and you should also have many of them floating around you. Once you've done this, then I want you to send those balls of hidden energy into the air. The only reason why I want you to send them into the air is so you don't hurt anybody else. Start on your meditation; I'll keep an eye on you." Now it was Spearow's turn. He already had good progress on Double Team, so Sengjin didn't really have much else to tell him. His method was fine, Spearow just needed to practice it and perfect it. ![]() "All right, Spearow, time for YOUR turn. From my perspective, you already have the move down. All you need to do is practice and perfect it. I don't have much to tell you, but that's a good thing; that means that you know what to do. Use the same strategy as before and I'm sure you'll get it in no time." Hurf Durf's turn. F**K. Sure, Earthquake would be a tough move, but Hurf Durf got literally, close-to-nothing progress on the move. Sengjin wasn't ready to give up on the move and so was Hurf Durf. They were both determined to learn the move. Well, not Sengjin. He's not a Pokemon... ![]() "Hurf Durf, we got little progress on Earthquake, but don't even worry about it. Now we both see what we did wrong and how we can improve. I think for this method, we're going to something crazy. Something so crazy, it might make headlines for the local newspaper. What I want you to do, is summon ALL of the energy inside you to create an earthquake. Well, maybe not ALL, but a buttload of energy. Then once you have all that energy, send it straight to the ground. Make a new tectonic plate on this planet; make scientists say, 'This tectonic plate was created by a trainer and his Pokemon.' Just... Try to create an Earthquake." Sengjin didn't ACTUALLY want a new tectonic plate on the earth, but I think that was decent motivation... Teddy was next and Slash was slowly starting to stick with him. Sengjin didn't really see how Slash could take awhile to learn. It was just like a Scratch, but aimed at the vital organs of another Pokemon. ![]() "Teddy, you've got Slash learned, but you need to pack a lot more punch into it. Find that motivation inside you. You REALLY want to hurt that other Pokemon. Use your anger as slashing fuel. Fuel the drive inside you; fuel yourself so you can land a blow that your opponent will REALLY feel." Pikachu was up next. Pikachu made excellent progress with learning Thunderbolt and hopefully it would keep going that way. "Pikachu, you're doing a great job so far. Actually, how do you feel about the name, Wooday? It's just Woody, but like, WooDAY." Pikachu just stared at Sengjin.... "Right, anyway. I feel like, that you can now generate the electricity for a Thunderbolt without a problem now. If you can, then that's great. If you can't, then spend some time gathering the electricity inside of you. But once you're ready for another Thunderbolt, you have to try and control it. Last time, you sent the Thunderbolt everywhere and hit poor Hurf Durf; it's a good thing he's resistant to your electrical attacks. It's hard for me to explain to you how you can control it, so I just want you to try your best. If your first attempt doesn't work, try it some more. You'll eventually get a feel for the move." Now it was up to Beedrill, Sengjin's strongest member of the team. Of course, level-wise, she was the strongest, but move-wise, not so much. ![]() "All right, Beebee, I hope you like your new nickname by the way, it's time for you to learn Poison Jab. Before, you did a great job at jabbing at the Duck Ball, but you were lacking the poison for the move. Instead of jabbing at this Duck Ball, I want you to simple jab at the air. But, you have to make sure that you can secrete enough poison for each jab. Jabbing is easy, getting enough poison into each jab, not so much. Just keep practicing and you'll also get a feel for the move." Edited by Sheik, May 29 2010, 05:54 PM.

Yet another massive tutor session. Looks like we've got no time to waste, so let's just get too it. Starting up with Raymond, your little Shellder friend was having some trouble with Hidden Power. I guess you found a great way to teach it, with the whole meditating thing. He closed his eyes and tried very hard to concentrate. He focused hard within himself, and...felt that energy again. This time, instead of trying to force it out, he tried to relax. He relaxed and breathed deeply. He felt the energy slowly coming out of him. He couldn't really form it or control it, but he was able to feel it pretty strongly. So that was something, eh? Baby steps here, baby steps. Hidden Power - 20% Moving on, we come to Spearow. He flew around and around and around over and over again. Each time, the clones stayed for a bit longer, until eventually they didn't fade at all. He was almost there, just one last little thing remained. Spearow would need to use some energy to give the clones the ability to move as he did. Remember, they weren't just images, Double Team creates prefect clones that move with the original. Once he uses that energy I'm sure he'll master it. Double Team - 90% Now we come to Hurf Durf. I'm not so sure how safe it is to ask him to create a new tectonic plate, but hey, you're the boss. Hurf Durf took all of his energy (well, 99% of it) and put it into his foot. He lifted it up and....STOMP! He hit the ground hard! Hard enough in fact that there was a large circle of cracks in the earth around him and the ground had shaken a bit when he impacted. Still, not an Earthquake. Not even close. Hurf Durf had expended so much energy in that one attempt, he slumped to the ground and could barely stand. Maybe Earthquake is a bit too far for now. Remember, it takes a massive amount of energy to produce the strength for it, and Hurf Durf just didn't have that energy. Maybe try something else. Earthquake - 5% Fourth on our list is Teddy. He knew his motivation the second you asked him to get angry: Elekid. For some reason he HATES them. And kids in wheelchairs. But Elekid were Pokemon so he could imagine attacking them more easily. He walked over to the tree from before and let it have it. He released his fury and Slashed away. He'd managed to make a bunch of deep gashes in the tree that would leave any Pokemon stunned. The only problem was, he was TOO aggressive. He'd need to get angry and let that fuel him, but he couldn't get TOO angry and take his eyes off the prize. Maybe work on controlled anger. Slash - 65% Fifth here is Pikachu. He was a bit terrified after Hurf Durf's explosion of power, especially since he was weak to ground. Eventually, however, he was brought back to reality by his new name. Wooday? Interesting to say the least. Wooday shrugged thinking "What the hell, could be worse." He attempted to build more electricity as you said, and decided that he was going to control it. However, he found that as he got more and more powerful, he found it harder and harder to control. Eventually he had to release it into the sky. He was getting a bit better, but he'd need to find a faster way. Maybe instead of taking big leaps, set goals, like "Okay, so charge up so and so amount then release it, and then try to double it" or something like that. Thunderbolt - 50% Finally we come to Beebee. She didn't care much for the nickname, which is to say she didn't really care at all. She listened to you and nodded. She tried to form the poison much faster, and found that she had to force it out to really get much. She'd need to form it much easier than that to master the attack. Eventually she managed to form enough to have a decent Poison Jab and stabbed her stinger forward. It was a good jab, the problem is still the poison. She'll have to learn to do it faster and better. Poison Jab - 25% |

Oy vey, these move tutors are a little too much. But does that mean that Sengjin should stop? Of course not. Sengjin needed to do this for future gains. He can't be lazy for this, not at all. Bleh, move tutoring... Raymond was up first again and this time, he managed to do pretty well with Hidden Power. Some more meditation and he should be able to get Hidden Power learned like that that *snaps*. He was a fifth of the way there, so there was plenty of time for the both of them to learn the move. ![]() "Raymond, you're doing a great job. I want you to meditate again and find that hidden energy inside of you. Breathe steadily and slowly focus that energy outside of you. Control those orbs; control those orbs to make them move as you want them to move. The energy should no longer hide in you, but come to the outside and reveal itself. Control the energy and send it upwards to the sky. Our goal right now is to control the energy." Spearow almost has Double Team down and one more round of practice should do the trick. Spearow was having a slight problem with his image effect, but hopefully it'll be perfected after this round. ![]() "Spearow, you're doing a great job. You almost have Double Team down and you should be able to learn it in one more go. Except what you have to do, is that you have to make sure that your clones move like you do. You're moving way too fast for me to see with my own eyes, so you have to try and create a moving picture of you." Now it was Hurf Durf's turn. Not much surprise to Sengjin, Hurf Durf got little progress from learning Earthquake. It was quite frustrating for Sengjin; he had no choice but to give up on the move. Perhaps when Swinub is stronger, then maybe he'll teach him the move. ![]() "Hurf Durf, Earthquake is taking too long, so we have no choice but to stop learning the move. We'll save it for the future, though. The new move that you're going to learn is Mud Bomb. Like the name would suggest, you make a small bomb out of mud. The first thing you want to do is find some dirt to make mud of. To make the dirt wet, use a weak Powder Snow on the dirt. That should make the dirt wet and give you mud to work with. Right now, we're just going to work on making the mud and making it into a bomb. In the future, we'll make it so you can make a mud bomb in an instant. But that's for later, right now, make mud and make it into a bomb, then throw it somewhere. Like at a rock or a tree." Teddy got good progress on Slash, but Teddy might have gotten a little TOO angry... ![]() "Teddy, you have Slash down, but you want to control you anger a little bit. When you're angry, you start acting without thinking. Remember, you must always think before you act. If you don't, then you leave yourself vulnerable for an open shot. You want strong hits, but control is the key." Wooday had pretty good progress with Thunderbolt; he just needed to learn how to control the bolt of electricity. ![]() "Wooday, you're doing great so far, but you also have trouble controlling your Thunderbolt. Instead of creating a really strong Thunderbolt, try to aim somewhere between a Thundershock and a Thunderbolt. That way, you'll be able to have more control and be able to send it anywhere you want. Be careful that you don't hit anyone; that'd be reallllyyy bad." Finally, it was Beebee's turn. Poison Jab was surprisingly difficult for Beebee. It should be like a Poison Sting, except it being packed with a lot more punch. ![]() "Beebee, right now you're not doing so hot. I think right now you want to control the poison you secrete into your needle-arm-things (Can't think of the word >.>). Remember, control is the key. Control the poison that flows through your body and control it so it goes into your needle arms. Then once you feel like you have a good amount of poison, jab and jab away." |

Shellder first, huh? Hidden Power, huh? Well alright. Raymond focused deep inside and brought out the energy again. They floated there, but they were slowly bursting into nothingness as Raymond began to make them move. He had the general gist of movement down, however, control was by no means mastered, but general idea of movement was there. Yes. General. Hidden Power Learning Curve: 40% Spearow was next. Double Team…Alright, let’s just keep it simple. Spearow accelerated again to create the clones again and reached deep within- Y’know what, I’m not even going to try and explain it, you were done with the move anyway, so just be happy knowing that your tutoring in this instance was finally over. Double Team Learning Curve: 100% Hurf Durf snuffled about and looked around for some dirt. Finding some, the Swinub used the Powder Snow to make it damp. Sadly, the consistency, amount, and generally lack of bomb-like qualities made Hurf Durf unable to proceed. I’d recommend trying to do something else, or perhaps using a different move as a base. There are surely a few moves out there that utilise Mud, maybe you could learn another? Mud Bomb Learning Curve: 10% Teddy bear! Woo! Oh, wait, it’s a Teddiursa. Anyway, restraint was the key word and Teddy was going to try. Anger still fuelling his actions, he lunged forward and realised his mental state mid attack, pulling back a little and delivering the blow all the same. It was a good blow, no doubt about that, but the balance between anger and restraint needs to be put in check. However, it was definitely a great tool to get you this far, now you just need to refine the technique just a little more. Slash Learning Curve: 75% Wooday…Pikachu…I dun get it. Anyway, moving onto the Thunderbolt Tutor, Wooday tried to build up the energy from a Thundershock, trying to find the middle ground in which to maintain optimum control. Then, as you’d expect, he let the sparks fly. There was power, but control was wavering. It had gotten better considering that the power was greater than that of the Thundershock, but you were still a ways from the power unleashed from a proper Thunderbolt. Ah well, practise does make purpose, and it’s very possible with a Pikachu as a Tutoree. Don’t worry, no one was hit, so you were fine to continue, also. Thunderbolt Learning Curve: 65% Beebee stared at you for a moment when you said “needle-arm-things” but was essentially unfazed by the comment. Anyway, with some amount of concentrating and then punching forward with her stingers, needle-arm-things, or what have you, she performed alright. Sad thing was, the poison component was still lacking, but the force of the punch was almost complete. Focus more on the poison, and only the poison, and you might progress faster. I’m not really too sure myself, but with that being the component you’re lacking, well…makes sense, no? Poison Jab Learning Curve: 40% Suddenly! A loud and piercing whistle sounded through the air and next minute you knew! ![]() A meteor, and a random evolution stone? Works for me! Either way, when they crashed down, you were sent a message via PokeTech about the Pokemon giveaway in the Meteoric Plains. Fun for you. I’m…kinda out of ideas here, so can I end this? Yes? Awesome. Good luck in the tourney. |

After a long and tedious bus ride, Sengjin finally arrived back at Millenia Town; after all those stops and having to deal with the crying babies and that one angry guy who always seems to be on a bus, he was FINALLY back in Millenia Town. Anyway, now that Sengjin was back in town, he wasn't too sure on what to do. Today was his birthday and he kinda wanted to celebrate. At Sengjin's current location, he was maybe a little less than forty-five minutes away from his house. It was early in the afternoon, and he thought that maybe it'd be nice to surprise his parents by visiting; they'd probably think he'd be in Route 4 by now. And so, that was the plan for Sengjin: to celebrate his birthday at his house and then leave the town. He breathed in the sweet smell of air and exhaled loudly. He checked his belongings and made sure everything was there. Raymond, Hurf Durf, Beebee, Spearow, Sparky Sparky Boom Man, and Teddy were there. Sometime Later After walking for around a half hour, Sengjin decided to take a break. He looked around and wondered where he could rest. After looking around for only a short amount of time, he found a large tree to sit underneath. He got to the tree, sat down, and tossed his bag off to the side. Sengjin rested his back against the tree and started to hum to himself. "I love... love liver... meow mix... deliver." Sengjin was feeling very comfortable as he was resting against the large tree. He hoped that nothing bad would happen on his birthday, that would just suck. The birthday thing was only there to increase Sengjn's age, since 13 is a horrible age for me >.> Edited by Sheik, Aug 10 2010, 10:37 PM.
