With the thugs being taken away by the police, Sengjin said farewell to Red and made his way to the pokemon center for a much deserved rest. After what they had just been through, a couple hours rest was just what they needed before doing anything else. The young trainer arrived at the pokemon center, handing over his tired pokemon to the nurse so that they could get back to fighting form. He sat down on a wooden bench and started to daydream. First he thought about about food, then he thought about ice cream, but before he could think about more ice cream, the nurse came by and handed his pokemon back to him; he forgot how quick pokemon centers were at healing pokemon. "Is what my pokemon?" Sengjin responded. He looked to where the nurse was pointing and saw that it was a staravia in the middle of the pokemon center. "Well that's weird... No, that's not mine." He walked over to the staravia, staying close yet far enough away to not pressure the bird pokemon. "Hey, buddy, are you missing your trainer or something? Maybe I could help you find him/her?" He backed up a bit and waited to see what the staravia would do. He wasn't going to battle a random pokemon that was sitting in the middle of the pokemon center, if it belonged to someone he didn't want to anger the owner for attacking it out of the blue. |

Millenia Town Town Centre Sunny Gible Egg 9/15 Seiryu Egg 4/25 It was rather strange in a way - if this Staravia was wild, how did he manage to get inside the Pokémon Centre? Admittedly, automatic doors can't discern between wild Pokémon and trainer owned Pokémon - so perhaps he had just found his way into the Pokémon Centre by accident? "Hey, buddy, are you missing your trainer or something? Maybe I could help you find him/her?" you questioned, bending down to try and see if there were any marks upon the bird Pokémon that would be able to tell you whether he was trainer owned or a wild one. However, no sooner had you bent down, the Staravia jumped up and whipped your hat up from your head - before shooting out of the Centre with your hat in his beak! Needless to say, you chased after the Starling Pokémon out into the streets of Millenia - only to find your target, standing next to a rather young lady. "Starry, why do you have a hat in your beak?" the lady politely queried, gently coercing the hat out of the Pokémon's beak. You presumed that this young girl was the trainer of the Staravia, and ran forward towards her. "Oh, is this hat yours? My humblest apologies," she apologised, bowing her head in a noble manner - before returning your hat to your head. "Oh yes, before I forget. My name is Catherine," she stated, gently curtseying as she spoke - seems someone had been raised to be a true lady. "This is my father's Pokémon - I'm still trying to raise him as my own, but he doesn't appear to listen to me very often," she admitted, glancing down at the Starling Pokémon - I guess that would explain why you found 'Starry' in the Pokémon Centre goofing off. "I don't mean to be a bother, young trainer, but would you do me the honour of a battle?" Catherine asked, politely bowing her head once again. You're not going to turn down a request so eloquently put, are you Sengjin? Or are you? LADY CATHERINE Level 25 (Starry)

"Hey! My hat!" Sengjin cried out as he chased after the staravia. Running out of the Pokémon center and into the busy streets of Millenia, he caught up to the feathery thief and saw that the Pokémon who stole his hat was owned by a pretty lady named Catherine. Sengjin went up to her and after putting two and two together, she apologized for her staravia's actions. She returned his hat to him, explaining that the staravia was owned by her father and that she was having a hard time getting the flying Pokémon to listen to her. That was no surprise for Sengjin. Growing up as a kid, working at his Dad's aquarium, he would spend the entire day trying to get the Pokémon to obey him and get into battles together only for them to swim away and ignore him. This happened nearly every day. "...would you do me the honor of a battle?" Catherine asked, bowing like the sweet and eloquent girl she is. "You're on!" he exclaimed. He took a few steps back and fiddled around with the Poké Balls on his belt, thinking on who would be a good fit to battle against this staravia. Hurf Durf would be the easy choice, one blizzard alone will be a huge hit to the staravia, but where's the fun in that? After thinking it through, he decided that he wasn't going to use Hurf Durf, Teddy, or Raymond, but his new addition to the group, Magby. What better way to get used to the group than jump straight into a battle, Sengjin thought to himself. Not only would magby get his feet wet and get some more experience under his belt, Catherine's staravia would as well. Maybe after the battle Catherine and her starvia will be closer. Let's hope they're classy in defeat. "Alright, Magby. Welcome to the group. This staravia looks tough, but I believe in you! Let's start this battle off with a smokescreen. That starvia looks like a quick one, so her lowered accuracy will even the playing field I reckon'. After you use that smokescreen, follow it up with an ember attack! With that giant cloud of smoke, there's no way she's going to see it coming!" And so it begins. Edited by Sheik, Oct 21 2014, 12:11 PM.
