As you stepped out of the front door you were greeted with a cool breeze and a glaring sun. You'd said your goodbyes, had everything packed and you were ready to set out on your very own adventure. Standing on the doorstep with your Larvitar's pokéball in hand you glanced around you. It was the same old Millenia Town that you'd always known, but somehow today you saw it in a different light. The street running to the left of your house was still a suburban street, but suddenly the bushes and trees running along both sides were now potential habitats for any multitude of Pokémon. But the town wasn't all that had changed. You now saw the townspeople through new eyes as well. It now seemed that every second person that walked past was either a Pokémon trainer or coordinator, or else some other form of Pokémon user. There was the older man in the red jacket, who used to only be the older man in the red jacket, but now he was the older man in the red jacket with three pokéballs clipped to his belt. Then there was the boy in his late teens, the eight or nine year old girl, the group of school children playing in the park, and even some of the soccer mums driving past in their minivans; all of them were now potential opponents or allies. So I guess this is where you make up your mind as to what you want to do. You've got a few choices: you could challenge one of the aforementioned people to a battle (except of course the soccer mums in their minivans, as they're all long gone by thin point), or you could go and scrounge around in the undergrowth in hopes of finding some more Pokémon to add to your team. Otherwise you could get to know your Larvitar a little better; it might be nice to teach him some new moves or play with him for a while, or even to give him a nickname so that he's not just another Larvitar. Or, you could just take a wander around Millenia Town. You know, meet the people, take in the sights. I'm sure that if you look around enough you'll find that there are plenty of opportunities for young Pokémon trainers like yourself. Anyway, give it some thought, think about where you'd like to see the start of your journey taking you, and then act on those ambitions. The sun's shining brightly today, but the future's shining brighter! |

Crystal's heart began to race as Cole began to run head on at Nibblies. She could see the energy building up in Nibblies palm, extremely bright and vibrant. It all ended as soon as it started. Nibblies hit Cole first, causing him to slide backwards. And not a second later, Cole was already up and rammed against Nibblies. That was it. It's all over now. Crystal stood there, heart racing. Wow, her very first victory. This one she will always remember for the rest of her life. A large smile formed on her face as she ran as fast as she could to congratulate her Pokemon. As she grew closer, she made an ever-so-gracious slide on the ground next to Cole. Crystal embraced Cole in an extremely tight bear hug, and began shaking him back and forth. "Oh Cole! You did it!" Crystal exclaimed. Hmm, Diablo deserves some thanks too. Crystal pulled the first Pokeball out of its slot on her belt. She pressed the button centered on the ball, and the ball opened. Coming out from the Pokeball was her Larvitar, her precious Diablo. He looked a bit beat from the battle, but she'll take care of that soon. Carefully, she reached forward and embraced Diablo in a light hug. "We did it, Diablo! We won!" Diablo nodded his head in excitement. Now, Crystal was rearing to hit the beach and hang by the cool water. But first she'll have to find a Pokemon Center. Who knows what kind of crazy things could happen to them if they weren't fully healed. Being a Pokemon Trainer is also about taking the initiative, gotta be ready every second of the day. Crystal lifted her head, searching for the red roofed building called the Pokemon Center. She turned her head in multiple directions until she finally managed to lay eyes on it. Crystal stood up and called her Pokemon back to their Pokeballs. She didn't even get a chance to get to know Becci, but oh well. She'll get over it in a while. Crystal made a mental to-do list: Pokemon Center, then the beach! |

It seems you've been quite lucky in your journey so far. I mean, a Riolu? Isn't that like, a golden rare? It's weird how such a girly little girl ended up with a pokemon up like that. Anyhow, as you walked away towards the bright red roof of the Pokemon Centre, Becci watched you go. She seemed upset that you'd just walked away without bothering to say goodbye, or thank her for the battle. Or perhaps she was just upset that she'd lost. Either way, it wasn't long before she was out of sight, hidden by the many people and buildings of Millenia. After much pushing and shoving your way through the busy streets, you made it into the Pokemon Centre. It was less busy inside, but not exactly empty. There were a few people standing around, supposedly waiting for their pokemon to be healed and given back. There was one woman standing at the door, and as you entered, she gave you a leaflet. "Millenia Deckchair Hire!" she says as she gives you the brightly coloured leaflet. You glance at it quickly, and you see a picture of the Millenia beach, with a happy looking person lying back on a deckchair in the foreground, and an equally happy Pikachu next to her. "Just head down to the beach and look for the bright blue hut!" she continues loudly, when another person walks through the door, and she turns her attention to him instead. After taking your leaflet, you make your way to the counter and hand Cole and Diablo's pokeballs to the nurse. She takes them with a smile, and disappears for a moment. As you wait, you see yet another person walk in through the door and handed a leaflet. He's around your age, maybe one or two years older, and he looks like he's a surfer. "Hey, thanks. I was just planning to head down to the beach," he says, before strolling up to the counter, placing a pokeball on it, and then just waiting next to you. The nurse returns and hands back your pokeballs, pokemon inside fully healed, before taking the guy's. The guy smiles at the nurse, and then notices you. "Hey, what's up? The name's Rider," he says casually. "I see you have a deckchair leaflet too," he says, holding up his own leaflet. "Say, do you maybe want to head down to the beach together after I get my pokemon back?" he asks. So, are you going to accept? Are you going to refuse and run away? Or maybe just ignore him and go to the beach alone? Your choice. |

OOC: Ohh emm gee, you're awesome. :] Crystal finally managed to reach the Pokemon Center. Normally she wouldn't bother trying to make her way through a fairly large crowd of people, but this was rather important. She approached the sliding doors with relief. A slight smile formed when the doors made their way open, and a fresh scent of cleanliness hit her. As Crystal began to walk into the Pokemon Center, a rather jumpy and joyous woman shoved something in front of her. "Millenia Deckchair Hire!" she yelled aloud to Crystal. Her voice alone was just enough to make Crystal want to jump out a window. Crystal checked out the leaflet out of curiosity. On the leaflet, there was a picture of Millenia Beach. Score! The person modeling in the picture seemed to be at ease with a Pokemon next to her. Hopefully the beach was really like that, not just some people trying to reel people in for some good money. The woman said something else, but Crystal wasn't paying attention. She just nodded her head, and continued onto the main counter. There was a friendly nurse manning the counter, wearing a friendly smile. "Could you heal my Pokemon, please?" Crystal asked as she pulled out Cole's and Diablo's Pokeballs onto the desk. The nurse took the Pokeballs and left. After a few seconds of waiting, some guy approached her. The nerve. He put a Pokeball on the counter and waited...Awkward. The nurse returns, breaking the awkward silence. She gave Crystal her Pokemon back, and continued onto the other guy. He began to speak to her. So, Crystal found out his name was Rider...who names a kid that? And he's invited her to head down to the beach with him, how serendipitous. Crystal gave him a funny look that said, "Uhh, we're complete strangers." But then she said, "Sure, why not." Crystal headed for the exit, and waited outside for Rider to be done. |

Woo! Beach partay! Well I HATE beaches. They're too boring, nothing to do but lie perfectly still for hours on end while the sun slowly burns your skin to a crisp. There's always a fat couple wearing the smallest looking bathing suits imaginable making everyone feel nauseous and dizzy. Therefore, this ref will not be fun. Don't like it? too bad, make sure not to request me if you plan any more beach antics. Anyway, now that my anti-beach rant is over, I can begin the actual ref. Rider smiled a smile at you that seemed to say "Wanna make out behind that rock?" and he looked up and down your body so blatantly, not even trying to cover up what he was really looking at. Well, you said yes, so it's your fault, now isn't it? You walked down to the beach with this perv and the whole time he stared at you in a way that made you want to take a shower to get the feel of his eyes off of you. But what do I know, maybe you like it like that? The two of you got to the beach and lucky you the leaflet wasn't lying. There were lawnchairs everywhere, with people sitting in them looking as content as humanly possible. There were Pokemon running free with their trainers keeping a lazy eye on them. There were a few impromptu volleyball games going on. Rider stopped and breathed in the beach air. Looks like he was more into the beach than he was into...well, you. He opened his eyes and the sun gleamed on his brilliant blue eyes, and his sandy blond hair seemed to shine. He took off his shirt with such force he might as well have ripped it in half. Well, he may have been a perv, but at least he was a sexy one. His muscles drew your attention and you couldn't help make it a little obvious you were staring. The guy was a freaking adonis. He looked back to you and smiled before grabbing your hand and running on to the beach with you. When he got closer to the water he let go of your hand but kept running. He looked back and sort of jogged backwards as he spoke. "Hey, come on! The water's great this time of year!" Looks like he wanted you to go frolic with him or whatever. You could see he had a belt with a couple Pokeballs attached and-wait, what were you doing looking down there anyway? Whatever, I don't really care. Anyway, are you gonna go play in the water with this guy or not? You might get a chance to battle him later, and maybe more if you're into it......what? I meant maybe he'd be able to help you teach your Pokemon some new moves, what did you think.....oh.....oh! You sicko! |

Crystal headed down to the beach alongside Rider. On the way, he continued to give her strange looks of infatuation...Not a turn on. She didn't want some lame Cali surfer dude to be hitting on her and expect her to jump for joy. Only if he was the last person on the world would she ever act on it...maybe he'd learn to mature in time. That is, if she decides to continue hanging out with this guy. After minutes of seemingly endless walking with Rider, they finally reached the beach. It seemed like a rather nice day outside, perfect beach day. Crystal noticed that most of the entire beach population were seated in lawn chairs. There were people and Pokemon just hanging out and having fun. Just what she wanted, if only it would last this way forever. As Crystal took in the scenery, Rider grabbed her hand and yanked her down to the water. Rider released her hand right before he hit the water. He looked back over to her and yelled something. Crystal felt embarrassed, who knows how many stupid girls were watching his every move. And where did she stand in the middle of this? She began to get in the water, gradually getting deeper and deeper with every step she took. Crystal still wore her belt of Pokeballs on her, there was no way she would leave them unattended. Rider also wore a belt of Pokeballs. So, he's a trainer? Well no duh, she saw him getting his Pokemon healed at the Pokemon Center. Crystal thought this might be a great time to get to know her new Pokemon, Finn. She reached for Finn's Pokeball and dislodged it from it's place on the belt. Crystal tossed it in the air, and released her Staryu. Finn came out of the Pokeball with an elegant spin, then landed in the water with a big splash. "Hey, Finn! I'm Crystal, you're trainer," Crystal said. She felt kind of awkward having to explain that to her own Pokemon, but it made some sense. Crystal dunked down under the water to get her hair wet. Rider was right, the water was great. She was hoping to find some awesome kinds of Pokemon while at the beach. Crystal hasn't caught her own Pokemon yet, and was hoping to get it done soon...And maybe get to know Rider later. |

So you decided to shirtless perv with some innocent beach swimming. Well, at least he thought you were joining him until you released your "Finn" and basically ignored him. Oh well, perhaps that's what he deserved for being a perv earlier? It was a beach by the way, a place for relaxation and no drama. As you come back up from nice cooling dip underneath the water, you are met with the loud spinning blades of a helicopter above. Suddenly a man with a megaphone starts yelling. "Are you Crystal Tillett?" The man says looking down at you. Well, he was right, you were Crystal Tillett. But what did he want from you? "You were referred to us as a Pokémon Trainer and we could use your help. You see there is a large beast threatening to destroy Nogou Village. Will you answer the call; all of Alternia could be resting in your hands!" His voice sounded urgent and concerned and he seemed to really need your help. Looking up from the water, you gave him the sort of I'm relaxing on a beach and you want me to fight Pokémon look. After a moment of thinking, you decided to for some reason accept the call and returned your Staryu. The man tossed down a rope ladder and you began to climb up it. Once you made it into the copter you looked down and noticed Rider looking at you with a look as if his chick had just gotten stole by another dude. Oh well, you weren't really his. Hell, you may not have even liked him. The man pointed you into the direction of a machine that would heal and switch around your team if needed and then to a changing room for you to change back into your clothes, considering you were just out in water. After a few moments, you had reached the destination. "Good luck young trainer," The man and pilot said to you as you looked down at the gigantic Pokémon beneath you. After a long and hard fought battle, the helicopter brought you back to where you last were, or at least as close as possible. Somehow they managed to drop you off right in front on Millenia. Finally back to the normalcy of a Pokemon Trainer's life, your road stretched to endless bounds. It is your decision on what to do next. Please post here what prizes you can claim, as well as any changes you want to your Active IC team. ~Snow~ |

After a hard fought battle going down in Nogou Village, Crystal was finally dropped off back in the front of Millenia. She received a very decent amount of items and money, so now her journey would be even more interesting. Carrying around an egg will be a bit of a hassle, but it'll hopefully be worth it after. But now that she's back, she can do whatever she wants. Catching some Pokemon sounded like a good idea, but where? Crystal began to walk aimlessly, until she remembered that that kid was still at the beach, probably waiting for her to return. 'I guess I better head back now,' Crystal thought. Maybe she could go back to the beach and manage not to run into that guy. She didn't need someone drooling over her while she had a good time. Crystal began to walk down towards the beach with her new Egg in her arms. What would it be like to hatch an egg? And especially an Egg of this kind of breed, it's sure to be pretty big. Well, the day was young, and there's plenty of things to do around here. Why try to ruin a surprise by thinking about things first? To be absolutely sure not to run into Rider, Crystal began to look around for an alternate entry to the beach. That way, she was sure to avoid him...and hopefully other guys like that. |

After a while of walking along the busy streets of Millenia, you saw another path leading down onto the beach. You followed it down, and it took you to a relatively empty part of the beach. There were no people sunbathing, no people splashing around in the sea... There wasn't even a lifeguard. It all felt a bit... odd. Were you even allowed here? Either way, your method for avoiding Rider and other guys had worked. You'd managed to avoid everyone altogether. So...err....what to do now? In a moment, your question was answered. Dozens of people suddenly appeared on the horizon, all charging towards you. Some of them were clutching surfboards, towels, and some were even struggling along with deckchairs. But that's not the point. The point is that there's this crowd of people all running towards you as if their lives depended on it. Seeing as you didn't want to be run over, you stepped aside and let the crowd run right past you. As a lady ran past you, you distinctively heard the words, "OMG!!! IT'S THE END OF THE WORLD!!! POKEMON ARE TAKING OVER!!!" She then started waving her arms around and continued to run ahead with all the other crazy seeming people. What in the world was going on? Was the world really ending? Currently, it seemed like crazy people were taking over the world, rather than pokemon. But then another crowd formed on the horizon, and it wasn't people this time. Because the crowd was blue. As they approached, it turned out it was a herd/swarm/school/flock of Marill, and it must have been them that had sent all the people on the beach running for their lives. I don't blame them, either. These Marill look pretty angry, and there's no obvious reason why. Wait, this weird scene isn't over yet. There's a person in front of the army of Marill, waving his arms around and looking incredibly terrified. He catches sight of you, and calls out. "Hey, you, please help me!" he cried out at you. "I was trying to catch a Marill, and then I think its entire family came to attack me! Please, you look like a trainer. Please help me get these Marill off my tail!" he pleads to you, before glancing back at the Marill who are getting rather worryingly close. Close enough to count them. Five very, very angry Marill. The person then sends out a Bidoof. So, what're you going to do? POSSIBLE ENEMIES [all charging towards you]
POSSIBLE ALLY

Finally Crystal managed to reach the beach. She found an alternate entrance, but it was deserted. Maybe there was some sign banning the public...Oh well, too late now. She was about to release a huge sigh of relief, until a huge mob of people came running right in her direction. Her eyes widened, what were all these people running from? A few seconds later, some woman ran by yelling something about Pokemon taking over the world...Gosh, people really need to get out of the sun sometimes. After the crowd ran off the premises, a whole new crowd began running on the beach in the same direction. Crystal squinted her eyes to get a better look. It seemed like there was some huge tidal wave coming by. A huge wash of blue came rushing on the beach. As the other mob got closer and closer, Crystal noticed that they weren't people, but Pokemon. Marill to be more specific. They all looked pretty upset, they were yelling in Pokemon talk. They seemed to be charging towards one specific object. Crystal then saw a man waving his arms around crazily in the air. He called out for help, explaining why all the Marill were peeved. Crystal ran up towards the man, ready to help. It was 5 against 2, pretty unfair, don't you think? But she'll do her best to take them on. Maybe she'll end up catching one if she felt like it. Crystal reached for Finn's Pokeball, and called him out. Sure the types were the same, Water against Water, but she hadn't battled with Finn yet. And being at such low levels, the Marill shouldn't know any water-based attacks yet. Finn landed on the ground, getting used to the fresh air. "Alright Finn, these Marill are all pissed and we have to do our best to calm them down by battling them. This guy here is going to help us, so don't attack him. Okay Finn, start with Harden and then go in with Tackle!" Crystal explained to Finn. How exciting, their first battle together. Let's hope the guy next to her won't be such a screw up. |

The boy seemed relieved when he saw you were going to help him. Five on one would have been even more unfair, after all. But, I mean, you could always send out some of your other pokemon; you have three in total, if I'm not mistaken. You might as well make use of them. Anyhow, his Bidoof was first to attack. He didn't even need commanding, and just leapt into the crowd of Marill and started scattering them. It looks like the Bidoof might be smarter than his trainer. Now that the Marill were all seperated, they would be easier to tackle. The Bidoof then looked around, and decided to target the weakest one, which also happened to be the one that'd he'd already fought. The Bidoof narrowed his eyes, and then leaped at the Marill with a Tackle. The Marill had no time to dodge, and was crushed under the weight of the Bidoof. The Marill squealed with pain, and then Tail Whipped its foe. The bobble on its tail whacked against Bidoof's side, lowering his defense. The Bidoof Growled with annoyance, and lowered the Marill's Attack in revenge, before pinning its tail down, leaving it unable to attack. Meanwhile, Finn had been using Harden. It stood still for a while, concentrating, and when it seemed to have finished, its outer layer seemed to look stronger and shinier. It then looked around, unsure which Marill to attack. In the end, it went for the one closest to it; the weaker female. Finn darted in and slammed into the unsuspecting Marill with a strong Tackle. The Marill was flung onto its back, but quickly used its tail to bounce itself back up again. Angered at the attack, the Marill charged straight back at Finn in her own Tackle. Finn was ready for it though, and dodged aside. I'm sure Finn would have been laughing if it had a mouth. But then when the Marill used Tackle again, Finn was caught by surprise, and the force of it sent him skidding backwards a couple of paces. The other female Marill noticed that Finn was bullying its friend, and bounced over to help. It used a Defense Curl, perhaps in fear of Finn's high level, and then Tackle. Finn tried to dodge, but the Marill just managed to hit Finn's very edge. It didn't cause very much damage because of his level advantage and because it barely hit, but it was damage all the same. As your battle with the females was going on, the weakest male had leapt to the rescue for the other Marill. He tried to force Bidoof off the Marill with his tail, but wasn't strong enough. The Bidoof wasn't going to shift. The weakest male then called to its other friend, who bounded over and helped. Despite Bidoof's best efforts, he was sent rolling off the Marill and towards the sea. This seemed to give the three Marills an idea, and they bounced over, and began rolling the Bidoof towards the sea. The boy watched in horror. "I think they're going to try and drown him!" he cried, unsure what to do. YOUR BATTLE

Finn was doing rather well for its first fight. Crystal was starting to get the hang of things. And now she wouldn't underestimate her enemy. There were so many Marill, it was going to be tough to take them all down. It seemed that Finn was taking down the gals, while the Bidoof was taking down the guys. And yes, Crystal did have other Pokemon, but this was Finn's time. But if Finn was close to dropping, she'd switch out to save it the pain. As Finn was recovering from one of the Marill's Tackle Attacks, Crystal looked over to see Bidoof in a strange situation. Bidoof was rolling down towards the water, unable to stop. Then a few of the Marill began to push Bidoof as he rolled down the beach. The Marill wouldn't stop rolling him until he was well in the water. Crystal had to do something to help. The Marill won't be stopped that easily, and a simple Water Gun wasn't going to do it. Crystal tried to recall what other moves Staryu could learn. 'There was that one move...What was it called?' Crystal thought to herself. 'Rapid Spin! That's what it was. But could I really tutor Finn? Things didn't go so well when I tried to tutor Diablo...' She had to try, though. "Finn! Pay close attention! I want you to go attack those Marill pushing Bidoof. But this time I want you to use a new move called Rapid Spin. Rapid Spin is an attack that can damage the enemy by spinning fast. So to start, you want to try moving at a fast pace. Just move, don't spin yet. Then, when you think you've gone as fast as you can go, jump up into the air. When you're in the air, rotate your body," Crystal explained to Finn. "Gradually begin to increase your spinning speed. Feel your body spinning continuously, almost like a saw blade. Use the tips of your body to make contact with the Marill, hard! Give it a shot, and do your best!" |

Bringing sexy back? Apparently?

So the boy cried out for the salvation of his Bidoof, which luckily for him was responded to by your move tutoring with Finn. It was going to take some work, but it seemed like an easy enough move to learn. And so, Finn sped off in the direction of Bidoof, aiming for the Marill that was rolling him towards the water. Y’know, I’m still trying to figure out the threat there considering that Bidoof is pretty much a beaver, but alright. Finn ‘ran’ over to the Marill and did a pseudo cartwheel as it got closer, giving the small blue mouse a wallop and knocking it away. It was shakey in terms of balance, and it could have been faster; not to mention have some sense of an aerial attack, but you're slowly getting there. The other option is to just level up in order to learn it. Rapid Spin Learning Curve(Finn): 30% This allowed Bidoof to recover and both the beaver and the starfish stood ready to continue assaulting the mob of mice. Clearly, the one that Finn struck was not happy about having its plans interrupted so it dove at the starfish and tackled it to the ground. Bidoof, doing what it can to repay Finn for saving him tackled that same Marill and let Finn get back up. This was surely going to be a drawn out battle, but at least the others decided to have the decency to not gang up on you guys. I wouldn't just hang around though, they could decide to suddenly converge on either one of you; if mob mentality has taught me anything, swarming a target could easily make up for the level difference. Finn approached the Marill and used Rapid Spin for the first time. The attack wasn't as effective as it would've been if it were fully learned, but it was much better than expected. Finn's balance was a bit off, and there was a lack of speed. Crystal could just wait until Finn learns the move as a level-up, but why not be adventurous? The Marill that Crystal was eying was one of the males currently battling Bidoof. The guy she was battling with too wanted to catch a Marill, but he'll have to deal and catch another. Crystal waited for Finn to get back up, then instructed for its next attack. "Alright Finn, nice work! We're going to try again with the Rapid Spin. This time, try to use Rapid Spin and take out the male Marill farthest from you. Before you're balance was a bit off. This time, you really want to focus on the balance. Feel the rotation of your body, spinning around and around. Just let yourself continue to rotate. Also, you're going to want to get a faster start. The faster you spin, the more damage it will cause. So remember, balance and speed are key. Now go, give it your best shot!" Hopefully that was a good enough explanation. She tries to put herself in the Pokemon's shoes. Would she understand her own explanations? [Marill aiming for the Level 6 Marill, of course. ]

Move tutoring was no easy feat. I mean, break it down. Imagine teaching Karate to a stranger. Now, imagine teaching them by only describing the actions, and not showing them. Now, attempt to tell this person in another language. Now, attempt to teach it to a person with a different body then yours. And imagine finally that you actually had no idea how to do Karate yourself. Makes sense right? Difficult indeed. And you were attempting to teach it not only to a Pokemon, but a Pokemon in the shape of a star. Still, your words were encouraging, but just didn't put in enough detail or examination of what to do for the Pokemon to clearly make it happen perfectly...at least not just yet. So as it sprung into action, he began to attempt to spin. It's star-based body shooting into the air, spinning faster with each passing moment. But it began to lose control like a hobbled plane. And while the ferocity and force still slammed into the body of the Marrill you were aiming for, your pugnacious attitude against opponents that weren't focused on you, would be there to haunt you only moments later. Instead of attacking the two Marrill that faces you, you had chosen to aim for the weaker one...and while strategically, it was sound. Logically, you left your two most fore-front enemies open to move against you as one. And as Staryu landed back in front of you, still a bit gassed from the attempt, he'd be hit hard by two Marrill's at the same time. Their blue and white spherical bodies hitting the Star Pokemon hard, knocking it back a few feet. Fortunately the turn of attacks wasn't totally against you. The Bidoof had noticed that you had attacked one of his more fierce opponents and decided that it was time to show you he was a true ally. His tiny brown form slamming into the two Marrills that had just landed on a hit on Staryu, hitting them both at the same time with a body slam. It's more then double body weight causing a good amount of damage to the two water types. Sending them both scurrying away from your Pokemon to try to recover their sense of where they were. Crystal watched as Finn performed its second try at Rapid Spin. Finn did as it was told, it gained more speed. Unfortunately by gaining more speed, it wobbled back and forth, out of control. Maybe attacking the Marill currently battling the Bidoof wasn't such a great idea. The two Marill standing in front of Finn rammed into it, sending it backwards. "Finn, you okay? You did great! Try it again, aiming for the two Marill battling you. And you did pick up some nice speed, continue with that speed. You went fast, but you lost control. You want to maintain your control the whole time! It's like a disc. When you spin, you want to have the spinning effect of a disc, or a frisbee. Speed and balance, remember! If you feel yourself beginning to lose some balance and wobble, you can slow down," Crystal explained. It'll get this move, it's just time. While Finn is attempting Rapid Spin, Crystal had a few quick, but exciting, plans to attend to. She turned to the three Marill lined up against the Bidoof. She felt bad about what she was going to do, but there were four other Marill he could easily capture if he wanted. From her belt, Crystal grabbed an empty Pokeball from its slot. She pressed the button on the center, and it grew larger. Carefully, she breathed in and out. Her first attempt at catching a Pokemon. The Pokemon she had in possession weren't exactly "fair" captures. She just won two of the in the Lottery, doesn't take a whole lot of skill. Crystal stood up and caught sight of the desired Marill. 'It's health is low, this should be a good chance for a capture,' Crystal thought to herself. She aimed carefully, then tossed the Pokeball. Who new if the Marill would give in. From what she heard, the Pokemon is supposed to be sucked into the Pokeball, and that's about it. Crystal had never been good with her aim, or throwing. No wonder nobody wanted her on the softball team. Edited by Crystal, Apr 18 2010, 03:43 PM.
