Learning from past mistakes. That's a good thing. Hopefully this round will go a lot smoother. You're attacks, although simple, were guaranteed to win you the battle, if they hit home of course. Let's see if this round would go the way you wanted it.

Velix, still handicapped with confusion, could do nothing but cause itself harm for the first attack. The second attempt at Confusion went down beautifully and the Zubat went down, unable to move. That makes all three pokemon down and out. The battle was almost over. But you had started a fight with that Hoothoot. Looks like you would have to wait a little bit longer to end this battle.

It was Mareep's turn to attack now. The sheep pokemon fired off a number of Thundershocks and it wasn't long before the break dancing owl could dance no more. Laying down, not moving, all four pokemon were helpless. Now it was up to you if you chose to capture any, or leave them to be taken by others or teleported away to be healed and released back into the wild. With that done you were now free to choose your next move. Would you continue looking for batles, or adventures? Would you start your Move Tutoring business? The world is your oyster. Make the most of it.

Kaz greeting his pokemon with a smile. Everything is how he wanted it. Both had leveled a couple of times, and things became to look like a bright picture. He was especially happy with Mareep, but just as happy with Velix. Checking the Poketch, he found they both would evolve soon. It was his dream to make Nidoran into a Nidorino, and then into a Nidoking. Which, with time, he could do. He couldn't remember off the top of his head, but he had won some kind of prize in a contest or something. It was the moon stone. An ingredient to Nidoran's final form: Nidoking. Equip and ready, Kaz just had to fill the level gap. But Mareep evolved soon as well, or so he thought she would. He checked the Poketch, and it wouldn't give him the information right now, something must be updating. Oh well, what can he do about that? Remembering how he checked Velix's information page once, he has it on his mind that she'll evolve soon too. Maybe after the Tournament he can have them battle more and more, and eventually he will have three evolved pokemon. Don't forget the move tutoring business he is looking forward too.

"Return." He said, holding up the pokeballs for recalling both Velix and Mareep. He attached them to his belt, ran down to the pokemon center to heal. Once there, it was an in and out experience. He had returned to the streets. The Tournament was coming, so he had to wait in order to purchase the Tutor License. He had enough money! The rules, the ones posted in the Pokemon Center, scared him. Not being able to enter a pokemon center to heal your pokemon unless you complete a move tutor first? What evil is that!? What if all of them were just in a huge battle? Though, that never happens. Oh well, if the license gets revoked, he'll practice tutoring his own pokemon, buy the license again, and start the business all Over. For now, though, he wanted something quick to do before the Tournament.

Looks like you just have some time to kill before the big Tournament, huh? Hmm, it's kind of difficult to decide just what to do, really. Perhaps you can just spend some time with your Pokemon before it happens. Or perhaps you would like to go find a battle against a really, really, REALLY weak opponent so you can end the fight before it even really starts and get some extra EXP! But that would be kind of a bully thing to do, don't you think? It's not nice to pick on weaker Pokemon.

As your mind drifts around in thought, you suddenly realize someone has taken a seat next to you. You glance over to see an older woman, a soft smile on her face. Her hair was a deep gray, wistful and curly over her slightly wrinkled forehead.
"Beautiful day, isn't it?" she asked, her can in front of her, both of her hands set atop it. "I saw your battle, young man. You're a Pokemon Trainer, I take it?"

Perhaps it was an obvious thing to ask, but this woman seemed nice enough. You should always respect your elders, after all.
"I was a Pokemon Trainer, once...back before that whole disaster happened." she murmured, and her face fell, her lips curving into a troubled frown. It looked like she was definitely remembering something particularly unpleasant. Perhaps you should try and change the subject, or simply excuse yourself from the situation. Or, maybe, you should listen to her tale; she might have an interesting story to give.

The night was still at large, and time was lingering; stalling itself until the time of the Tournament. People say if you watch the clock, it'll go slower. Well, there was no clock around but damn, it felt like it was going slow enough. As he sat down, so did an elderly lady. Quickly, she brought up conversation. Kazuki could be nice, but could dark and mysterious. He was almost bipolar, but wasn't technically. With a sigh, the boy listened. So she used to be a trainer, and then she brings up some bad accident? It is not in his place to ask, but he is curious about what types of pokemon she had. Oh, and what happened to them. He turned slightly towards her, and opened his mouth.

"What kind of pokemon did you have? What happened to them?" A casual conversation with the elderly woman seemed fine to waste some time. Hours, mere hours, stood in his way of fighting.

So you had decided to stay and hear the old woman out, huh? Well, that's a nice gesture. This lady might be all on her own, just begging to find someone that would listen to her story. Old people tended to reminisce a lot, so it was a kind move for you to be patient with this woman.
"I had a full team of lovely Pokemon from the Johto region. It consisted of a Meganium, Noctowl, Magcargo, Donphan, Espeon and Ampharos. They were a lovely bunch, indeed...bless their hearts..." she said sadly, her eyes downcast on the ground beneath her feet.

"Chikorita was my starter, of course. We traveled the land in search of any way we had to prove ourselves, wanting to be the very best there was. Then again, what Trainer doesn't? Haha..." she laughed weakly. "Well...the incident happened several years ago, when Team Rocket was still a large, bustling syndicate that did their very best to cheat and lie and steal until they got what they want."

Her expression turned bitter, as if she had tasted something that didn't agree with her senses. "I was a little girl, still. A foolish child. I didn't know what I was doing." she whispered angrily, a tone full of self-hatred. "They told me they'd give me anything I wanted if I went with them. They said they would always keep my parents safe, always watch over me, always let my Pokemon stay by my side. I was naive enough to believe them. We went to a place away from anyone else, and they took all of my Poke Balls from me and knocked me out."

She sighed, her hands tensing on the top of her cane. "When I came to, I had nothing, anymore. All of my Pokemon had been stolen from me. I reported it to the police, but nothing had ever been found of my poor dears..."
Her eyes moved up to the sky. "I just hope they were at least treated decently..."

Kazuki listened to the old woman. As she talked, he began to feel bad for her. It wasn't long after she named her pokemon that Kaz also thought about them. He doesn't remember ever seeing any of the ones she had mentioned. It would be kind of cool to see them. Either way, her story was sad and filled with sorrow. Even the boy felt bad for her. She was old, and a time machine would really do the trick. No one invented those yet, but when they do...

"I am sorry to hear that, Ma'am." Kaz put a gentle hand on her back, but only for a second. He took it back and stood up. "If I see anyone from a gang like that, I'm going to have my pokemon battle them. I wish I could help, but maybe I'll come back and find you. Maybe I can help you with things. Right now, I have to find a woman. I guess I'm on an errand." Kaz took off, giving a slight wave when he was in front of her. He was taking off.

The sun appeared to be rising already. Night sure did go by fast. A battle with a few pokemon sure did take the time out of the darkness, and the light is moving back in. Oh well, on to getting this money for this man. Boy, did a free tutor of the move Counter sure sound nice. Kaz had been conversing with a few trainers via Poketch, and he's hooked himself up with a few jobs. Let's see... for an ekans, Kaz will be receiving an older man's Beedrill. The trade will be whenever the man wants it to be. The second may be for money. A good price coming Kazuki's way to teach a sludge pokemon, Grimer, a few moves that should be easy. Sludge Bomb and Acid Armor? Phew, some easy ones for once. Not saying the Beedrills will be tougher.

That reminding him. Kaz already had six pokemon. He wanted to continue on this path for the man, so the tutoring will come after. For right now, he sure did have pokemon to train. Machop was not experienced enough to use Focus Punch, which with a break, took a while to tutor. Now Kaz has a Nidoran that is close to evolving, a Mareep, and a Velix who are also close. Sneel, Voltorb, and Machop needed the training more. In a PC box, a Geodude, Snorunt, and a Poliwag waited patiently for him.

Heading to the shop that Laurie Trough was rumored to be at, Kazuki knocked on the door. "Laurie, I've been sent to collect money. Open up!"

You were really thoughtful to stay and listen to the elderly woman's tale. It might have brought up bad memories, but it also meant that she could remember the good times with all of her companion pokemon! Besides, having someone listen to her while she talks about it was a good thing for her. In you, she saw a very familiar version of herself. Young, ambitious and full of adventure! She was grateful that someone had kept her company and visiting with you even managed to cheer her up a good deal. Even if it was only for a short time, the time you spent with her could have possibly made her happier than she had been in a long time. As you left, she offered you a little wave; a smile was present on her face making it clear to you just how helpful you had been.

Now, we need to move onto the more serious portion of this ref and possibly the near conclusion of this plot! Just going to throw this in here, but the last actual dealing with this plot was several pages ago. Which meant I spent a good amount of time back reading just to be clear on what all happened. So, yeah. Keep that in mind in the future. Anyway, you have had plenty of time to prepare yourself to meet with Laurie and collect that cash. If you returned to the shady man, you could even get a free move tutor which is always appreciated. Especially for an egg move, right? Above you, several clouds were lurking. They had a dark tint to them, which indicated that they were almost overflowing with water that just wanted to surge down and soak everything it could. Except not really, because rain clouds and water can't really want to do anything.

But, enough with the weather forecast. I only mention it because it may or may not affect the next few posts or so, be it with battle or to just simply make things more dramatic. Either way, it'll rain soon. You finally located the store that had been scribbled down on that little piece of paper. It was impressive; large and elegant, you could easily tell that it was a higher end store on the chain of existing franchises. There was a single glass door that acted as the entrance. Luckily for your specific purposes, it didn't seem like any bystanders were inside. The store was closed for whatever reason it would be closed for. However, in response to your pounding, you saw a light turn on in one of the back offices. You held your breath for a moment, wondering if that would be Laurie coming out with some super powerful pokemon to completely wipe you out or something. A few moments later, a large man came walking down the aisles of clothing and opened the door, stepping outside to meet you. He was wearing a typical every-day security man outfit.

"I don't know what you're referring to, but Laurie has asked me to dispatch you as quickly as possible. If you're smart, you'll just leave now. Understand?"

He reached down to his waist and removed to pokeballs from his belt, then released the both of them. After a moment, a Machop and Poochyena appeared. Both looked pretty strong and ruthless; the Poochyena was even growling a little bit to help prove the point. That point being that you should leave, or else. So, what now? You weren't going to come this far just to back down, were you? Looks like a battle is inevitable.

It seemed all so fast paced as the security guard, or at least the man dressed as one, came out. He was quick to threaten Kazuki with pokemon. A Machop and Poochyena. No stranger to the Machop species, as Kazuki has one. The pokemon looked young, and didn't make Kazuki feel threatened at all. Besides, he didn't come all this way to be chased off by pokemon. When it came down to the point of decision making, Kaz went blank. He wanted certain pokemon to gain experience, and others did not require it to his 'taste'.

"Alright, so you think you can use them to ward me off?" Taking two pokeballs off of the belt he wore, Kazuki readied his arm. He already knew which they were. Nidoran and Machop. Machop because his Focus Punch required him to be stronger. Nidoran because he'd eventually be ready for evolution. Releasing both, he smiled. It was a reunion. Machop was the second pokemon Kazuki ever required. He actually fought against Nidoran, and both had grown since. Machop may not have had much growth, but Nidoran sure did.

"Alright. Nidoran and Machop, we need to focus on this battle. It's going to reward us good. Nidoran, I want you to start off using Sludge Bomb. Use it against the Machop. After you tried hitting him with that, get in there for a Horn Attack. Machop, on the other hand, I want you to use three Low Kicks on Poochyena. One after another; don't allow it room to attack." Kazuki had inner thoughts, which consisted mostly of future plans for the two. However, he's probably thought them over so many times he couldn't bring himself for another round.

The weather didn't even seem that good. The battlefield had a chance of being wet, which would not help the pokemon.

I see you are taking the very straight forward approach in this battle. All damage, nothing else! Well, the enemy was pretty weak in comparison to what you had in your repertoire of pokémon. At the very least, this would prove to be a rather quick battle. Then you could proceed on to your confrontation with the final boss in this plot: Laurie! With all you've gone through to prepare for her, surely it wouldn't let you down. I'm sure the rewards are rather enticing for you as well, but hey. Isn't a free move tutor always enticing? Of course it is, you silly trainer. Anyway, we have a pressing battle to get to, don't we?

Unfortunately, it didn't seem like the security guard had the common courtesy of giving you a chance to go first, as his Pokemon were geared and ready to go already. His Poochyena, already raring to have a piece out of you and your pokémon, started everything off with a Growl attack. I'm sure you already know it, but the result was both of your pokémon having their attack stat lowered. While he was doing that and preoccupying your team, the Machop was busy using Focus Energy in order to increase his critical hit rate. Looks like he was planning on having luck on his side to do some major damage here soon! Nidoran took the opportunity of the enemy Machop's stillness to launch the Sludge Bomb attack you had ordered. It hit with ease, dealing a surprisingly great amount of damage! It was no critical hit, but that was still something. Oh, look! Machop was even poisoned. So far, this has gone pretty great for you.

Nidoran continued his attack and rushed in to deliver a Horn Attack. The Machop, while still hurting from the damage already dealt, was still too proud to dodge and thus took the hit. In exchange however, he brought down his fist and delivered a powerful Karate Chop to Nidoran, landing a critical hit! Meanwhile, your own Machop raced forward to carry out your orders. The Poochyena saw him coming and whipped a violent amount of sand in Machop’s face. Unable to see clearly he attempted the first Low Kick attack, but was unable to land it. Blinking, he cleared up his vision enough to make the second land. Since Poochyena was on the ground already, the third landed cleanly as well.

Overall, you had dealt some pretty heavy damage against this guy’s pokémon. I can’t help but wonder if he’ll actually let you inside if you win. I mean, wouldn’t that seem odd? Meh, oh well.Anyway, what were you going to do now?

This round went very well for Kazuki. Yes, indeed, it went very well. Nidoran's Sludge Bomb was perfect, and his Horn Attack equally impressive. Machop got in two of the low kicks in, and that impressed Kaz as far as that goes. Machop could be such a powerhouse, given the chance for some move tutoring and leveling. Nidoran was already a poison god, in the eyes of Kazuki. Until Nido evolves, Kaz kept a firm grip on his thoughts about the moon stone. What a great situation he'd be in after getting a beastly Nidoking. Machop, equally thought of at times, was on Kazuki's list for things to do.

Either way, this battle was at hand. Kaz started to think about after the battle. Would the guy really let Kazuki in? He was an older man, and Kazuki was a teenager. No doubt the man could over power him. If necessary, his pokemon were there to back him up. Machop and Nido both looked on to their targets, ready as they took their stances.

"That was great. Both of you. They look like they are low on health." Kaz let a smile cross his face. This battle was exceptionally easy. He couldn't wait to get onto his tutoring jobs. He had about five customers waiting on him. They wanted him to do things now, and they would get done. "Nido, Machop, time to finish this thing off. Machop, use Low Kicks on Poochyena. Nido, use as many Horn Attacks that need to be done." This battle was over.

Dang, only one turn has gone by and you got some major, major damage in. The security guard's Machop was close to dying and the Poochyena was close to joining him. This battle should be in the bag, right? Sure...

Getting to the battle, your Machop was the first Pokemon to act. He charged at the Poochyena, ready to send the dog flying into the air by using a Low Kick. However, the security guard knew that you would do this, so he sent out a command that would counter your attack. As your Machop charged at the Poochyena, the dark Dog Pokemon used a Sand Attack that hit the face of your Machop. Now, blinded, your Machop missed his Low Kick and was soon bit by the Poochyena. It wasn't a Bite attack though, it was more of a weaker version of it (A Strike attack). Now, Strike does little damage to a Pokemon, right? Not in this case. The Poochyena actually bit your Machop's foot, which made Low Kick utterly useless and made him slower. Ouch!

As your Machop limped back to his side, the other Machop was ready for battle. It was about to die, so it was full on offensive for this turn. And at the same time, your Nidoran was charging at the security guard's Machop, ready to land a Horn Attack to finish the Machop off. As they both charged at each other, they both got ready to launch their attacks. Finally, they both collided into each other and landed their attacks. Your Nidoran successfully hit the Machop with a Horn Attack, but was also hit by two Karate Chops, at the same time! But wait, it gets worse. Karate Chop: higher critical hit ratio. Focus Energy: increases that ratio. STAB: 'nuff said. Guts: boosts attack by 50% when inflicted with a status condition. I got one word for your Nidoran... YOWCH!!! But despite the amazing attack by the Machop, it did little damage since Nidoran resists fighting attacks. Now, the Machop fell to the ground, knocked out.

Now all that was left was for your Nidoran to use his remaining Horn Attacks on the Poochyena. Your Nidoran charged at the Poochyena and was hit by another Sand Attack. This time, your Nidoran was luckier than your Machop, and managed to land his attack. After the second Horn Attack, the Poochyena retaliated with another Strike attack, which did okay damage and quickly followed it with another Sand Attack to your Nidoran. With -2 Accuracy, your Nidoran, unfortunately, did not land his final Horn Attack.

The turn was now over and the round has taken a surprising twist. But it was still in your favor, it was a two on one and both of your Pokemon had a lot of health left. Easy battle, eh?

Kazuki grimaced. The turn of events in this previous round were definitely not to his liking. Hell, why would they be. He didn't have to explain it to any; inside his head or not. The security guard seemed like nothing, and this battle was soon over. Afterwards, the boy was just glad to move on, and find the female owner. For now, finishing off this pest of a Poochyena. It was Poochyena, alone, that create such a problem this round. Were they that good to create problems like such? If so, Kazuki would consider going for one, but as it stood, he cared not for them.

Machop's leg looked badly hurt, and Kaz could recall another time where his legs went out. This was the second or third, to be exact. Well, certainly it was getting on Kazuki's nerves that Machop always got his legs in a bit of a situation, when none of the other pokemon ever do. What is up with that!? Oh well, this battle was over. Machop would get experience from Poochyena, and that is something that mattered to Kaz. Machop was next to be trained--if his legs didn't fall off. With a short, very short glance, Kaz readied his orders.

"This battle is basically over. Machop, if you can manage, use Strike. Nido, attack with Horn Attack, twice if need be." For a minute, Kazuki considered using Sludge Bomb, a move that guaranteed victory if it hit. With the rank of power it was, he was sure of it. But no way would they waste that much energy for a slowly defeated canine. If this next turn predicted Kazuki's victory, he'd recall his pokemon quickly, and then run past the guard and into the building. The faster he completed the job, the faster he could get to getting Counter and tutoring other people's pokemon for rewards.

In My Little White Room Again
Well, from what I can tell this battle is pretty much over –is it not? Why, I’m not sure if you would even consider it to be a battle in the first place, because it ended so quickly and both of your Pokémon had came out of it relatively unscathed. However, a battle is a battle however quick it may be, and of course there was that lovely prize at the end of each and every one: exp points –making you one step closer each time to achieving that badass Nidoking of yours! Oh how your opponents will cower in fear with that mofo on the field! I’d be anxious (and slightly worried if) about that date that keeps closing in on you! But anyways, you can’t get the exp until you win the battle, and I can’t live with this ref unless I actually comment what the hell happened in your battle, now can I? So here we go~

With one opponent down and one to go who was just barely holding on, your comrades were beginning to feel very confident and hell you can’t blame them. Machop took off first, rushing in at the enemy hound with his fist tightly clenched. The boxer like creature took a good swing at the canines face with his Strike attack, and even managed to get the little one to cough up some blood that came from his gums when his teeth slashed against them during impact. But he was a fighter and refused to fall, yet. Seeing as how the pooch was still standing, your Nidoran took off (considering it like a rabbit, I guess it kinda just “hopped” its way over there?) and prepared for his onslaught. His frontal horn, the biggest one, began to glow white and color and seemed to be surrounded by a strange mystical mist. Nevertheless, the little rabbit reject threw himself into the hound (who was dazed by the previous attack) mercilessly! The Nidoran collided with the Poochyena, his horn clashing into the poor things chest and possible breaking a piece off of his scapula. The little one howled out in pain once before he fell to the floor, K.O’ed.

Congratulations

And so, with his team unable to battle, your foe had lost. The guard recalled his team, whispering words of thanks to their Pokeball’s before shoving them back into their pockets, and then turned away. “Laurie!” he called out into the stale air, as if he was trying to beckon the woman to come out of hiding and meet with him. “Look, Laurie, the kid one. We need to just get this shit of yours sorted out before more trouble rolls our way; I don’t think my team can handle it.” His words were left hanging for a few moments, but eventually the woman named Laurie appeared with a rather dissatisfied look on her face. She nodded to her guard and told him to run ahead and heal up his Pokemon; that they needed his care more than her at this very moment in time. Nobel, don’t yah think? Anyways though, the woman approached you and sighed: “You’ve won. Fine, here take the money. Now please, we’ve had enough trouble for one day, so please leave.” she said before turning tail and retreating into the building once more.

Well, now here you stood with your money and a stronger team. This is where your path reaches a divide in the road though, my friend. Will you return the money to that shady man who had asked you to go all this way and get it, in return getting $120 in pay? Or perhaps just shuffle off with all of the money, and never think back to that strange man again? The choice was all yours~

Derping... All Day, Every Day!

Kazuki finally won. It was fairly quick, however, it seemed like a drag. Kaz wanted to get the money back and get his free tutor of Counter! It would be so exciting, but he doubted he'd ever try using it as much as the shady man did. Oh well, at least he'd have it. It also meant that he could get to the tutoring orders he has. Via Poketch, Kaz watched as the business piled. He capped it at five customers, but one may be going to someone else. Either way, it was business and he needed to get it done soon. Kaz wouldn't mind training straight to getting Nidorino! Things had to wait.

With the money in his hand, Kaz had a huge smile across his face. He had won the battle against the security guard and it was time to leave. "That's all you needed to do. You won't be seeing me again!" Kaz gripped the money and ran off. He was headed back to the alley where the Shady Man is, so he can get his payment.

In My Little White Room Again
With your handful of cash in tow and the decision to return it all to the shady man that resided back in the alleyway in mind, you decided it was about time to leave the building where Laurie had resided. You seemed exited about everything: the free move tutor, how close Nido was to evolving, and of course how many people had popped up wanting them to tutor their Pokemon. You seemed like you where becoming a very successful move tutor, are you not? I mean, you did had five customers lined up for tutoring, most of them wanting you to tutor two or more of their Pokemon a variety of interesting moves –so yeah, I’d say that without a doubt that you were becoming very successful as a move tutor. Anyways though, you quickly made your way away from the building and down towards the alleyway, where the shady man stood –leaning up against the side of a building in a carefree and nonchalant manner.

“Why hello there~” said the shady man as you approached, “Since you’re back I’m guessing you’ve managed to collect all of my money? Well done! Well done indeed!” the man held out his left hand, taking the cash from you and then counted through it. “Yes, it’s all here, just like I asked. Now then, here is your pay.” he said as he removed one hundred and twenty dollars from the wad of cash before handing it over to you, a pleased smiled stretched out across his face. “Now then, I’m assuming that you want me to go ahead and get this move tutor of yours done, eh? Well then, just hand over the little fellow and we’ll get started.” With that all said and done, the man held out his hand ready to receive your Nidoran for training. You handed over you Pokeball, your heart pumping with excitement, and watched as he released your little Nido into the alleyway before him. “Hello there, Nidoran. Your trainer here wants me to teach you a move called Counter, and well, that’s what we’re going to do. But now, before we get started I’d like you to meet a friend of mine.” he said as he pulled out another Pokeball from his pocket.

“Ai, ai, aipom aipom!” cried the monkey after she was released from her Pokeball and darted up onto her trainer’s shoulders. The little monkey smiled down at you and Nido with her cheesy smile as she bounced up and down on her train’s shoulders and continued to giggle. “Now now sweetheart, we’re going to teach this little Nidoran here Counter, okay?”he said to the monkey who nodded eagerly before she jumped down off her trainer and hurried over to Nido --where she began to speak in him in her foreign tongue. After their introductions, the man cleared his throat and began. “Nidoran, the move Counter is relatively simple; you just wait for the enemy to strike and intake all of the power that they used and double that energy within yourself. Immediately thereafter you go in and strike with all of that stored power and cause massive damage to your opponent, like so.” he said pointing to Aipom who had begun to be engulfed in a deep crimson color. “Go and attack Aipom, Nidoran.”

The little rabbit like creature did as he was told, running over to the monkey and preparing to hit her with a simple Strike attack. The move landed, of course, but immediately thereafter the monkey jumped up in the air and spun, smacking Nido hard in the face with the hand on her tail. The attack hit Nidoran hard, and the little one gazed up at her after witnessing such immense power. The monkey giggled as her face blushed pink; flattered with Nido’s bewilderment. The shady man nodded and continued: “Now Nidoran, this time Aipom here will attack you and you Counter her. Remember to keep a hold of the energy that will be transmitted to you once she hits you and then try firing it back at her, okay?” Nidoran nodded, and prepared for Aipom’s attack.

The little monkey darted forth with that cheesy smile still on her face and jumped into the air like before, spinning midair and smacking him with her tail. Nidoran took the hit, his body glowing in a red mist, and tried taking in all of the energy and doubling inside of himself. He managed to do so, but he had focused too much on gathering the energy that he kind of, forgot, to actually strike the monkey back. The little one giggled, amused at Nido’s failed attempt, but silenced herself when her owner spoke up again. “Good, Nidoran. You know how to keep a hold of the energy and how to double it inside of yourself, good. But now, you need to release that energy and attack Aipom here…now, try again.” he said.

On command Aipom shot forth again, preparing herself for attack. She jumped into the air much like before and slammed her tail hard into Nido’s glowing red face. The little rabbit had stored all of the power and energy that he had came from the attack and doubled in within himself and then, with haste, he jumped forward and nailed Aipom hard in the stomach with his horn. The monkey stumbled backwards, clutching her stomach, and kneeled over (it was very painful do to being super effective) in pain. Through the pain though, she lifted her head up and smiled at Nido in acceptance –he had done it. The shady man applauded Nidoran with a chorus of claps as well, and then thanked Aipom for her help before returning her to her Pokeball. “Good job, Nidoran. You did very well.” he said before turning to you. “It was nice to meet you, friend. Thank you again for aiding me with Laurie…and now since your move tutor is done we must depart –but I hope to see you again in the future…with a very powerful Nidoking!” he said, turning around and heading out of the alley.

Counter learning curve___Completed!

With Nido’s tutoring now out of the way, you could now get to move tutoring all of those people who had signed up previously with you and earn yourself some money –unless that is if you wished to do something else before that time came around.
