[Wandering Around]

Charlotte took a few steps back in fear as she eyed the massive hoard which was taking form between the two of you. Her back was arched and her arms were bent at the elbows, almost as if he body was going through the simulation of “Fight or Flight” that very moment. Her Linoone danced between her legs and growled at the approaching bees, with his sight set on the queen who had settled down in between two massive branches at the top of the tree trunk which formed a “V”. She sat down and into the small crevice, her dress like attire flowing over the edge of the tree and with her hands folded politely in her lap; she was the mere image of sadistic queen from the dark ages. Her crimson eyes shimmered in the dying sunlight as her warriors scattered around the tree in front of her, all of them totally willing to give their lives away to serve their almighty queen without any doubt of her in their minds. She seemed to smile down at the two of you as the sun continued to set behind her, its rays eclipsing her body so that you could only see her deadly silhouette. The queen seemed to laugh at the sight, raising one of her hands to cover her giggles like one would to conceal a yawn. Her eyes danced from each of her soldiers and to each rebel which stood before her; she was looking forwards to this fight. Her eyes were mocking, taunting, deadly; she kept her gaze on Charlotte for the longest time before she looked down to you with her demented eyes –sending cold chills down your spine.

Sweat began to drip from Charlottes brow, causing her bangs to stick to her forehead and the hairs on the back of her neck to stand on end. She looked over to you, worried, and said to you: “Are you sure? No. No I can’t leave you here like this. Not with her.” Her voice was trembling. A massive portion of her being wanted to flee, wanted to run, while the other half wanted to stay and fight with her Linoone. But she felt like her feet were glued in place; she wanted to make a decision but she felt helpless to do so. Would you still try to persuade her to leave or encourage her to stand besides you and fight –because she is right in the danger zone if she can’t feel her feet and be on the alert of any incoming attacks.

Nidoking roared and threw his arms back in rage as electricity danced around his body before firing off and into the air, engulfing one of the bees in a fully strengthened Thunderbolt attack. The same bee stumbled in the air due to being hit, but he quickly recovered –dashing over towards Nidoking while he fired his second attack and successfully dodged. With great speed and agility he threw his dagger arms into the Nidokings flesh, causing tear after tear and wound after wound as he pounded away at him with a mighty Fury Attack. Hissing the bee swirled away from Nidoking, trying to keep his distance, when he spun around and fired off a String Shot towards the massive dinosaur. King screeched in agitation, pulling against the sticky string which was clinging to his body and to the grass at his feet. It was almost as like his feet were glued to the ground and his arms bound to his side; he tried to fight it but in the end it didn’t do much. He managed to free his arms just enough so that he could defend himself, but he wouldn’t be able to dash over to any enemies and deal some more damage. Not only that, but he would be less likely to dodge any massive attacks that may be coming this way. Luckily for him that wouldn’t happen in this round, but he might not be as lucky in the future.

Flaaffy covered her body two with a massive surge of electrical energy, concentrating on its power before she fired it off towards one of the bees that surrounded her. The attack, much like Nidokings, hit the target dead on and caused the bee to nearly fall out of the sky. The little one quickly caught himself and threw his body around with great speed, managing to reach the Flaaffy’s side before she could fire off her second attack. With an evil hiss he fired off a Poison Sting at a close distance, causing Flaaffy to try and cover her face with her hands to prevent any major damage. But the Beedrill would not relax until more hell was raised; as Flaaffy tried to recover from the attack the Beedrill lunged back down at her and struck her with another Poison Sting straight to the face. The attack caused Flaaffy to topple over and eventually fall down and onto the ground. She whimpered in pain as she tried to lift herself up, her legs and arms shaking, for she had become poisoned from that last attack. Luckily for her it wasn’t a toxic poisoned status, which it had a high chance of being due to being at such a close range, so I would be a bit carefully with these boys –they are not afraid to get up close and personal to cause some damage.

Poliwag danced around as he tried to fire off his Hypnosis attacks towards the massive swarm of bees. He had horrible aim; he couldn’t focus on one bee because they were all moving around so fast. But nevertheless he tried to fire off his attack to one of the bees who managed to dodge with ease. His second attempt though caught a target, one of the male bees, who fell to the ground, fast asleep. As he turned around to try and take his aim on the next potential target, he was met face to face with a very agitated Beedrill. The wasp shanked the little tadpole with three jabs from Fury Attack before flying away and allowing his partner (the one who Poliwag originally tried to attack) to dive in and whip out his own version of hell. This wasp was strong, determined, and lusting to bring down his enemies; he slammed his stingers into little Poliwag the maximum of five time! Screeching out in agony the little one fell over and onto the ground, unconscious, for he couldn’t take the bees attacks any more. He did manage to contribute to a K.O himself though, for the bee that had fallen asleep quickly became the target of both Quilava and Skarmory.

Skarmory dove in after he did his Swords Dance, increasing his attack power by a lot, and jabbed his beak into the bees crunchy flesh two times with his Peck attacks! The bee hissed in his sleep, but he still slept. Your newly evolved Quilava nodded to Skarmory who took off out of the way, only to be hit by a String Shot from one of the other bees. The bird fell to the ground, the sticky goo all over his wings and began to try to pull it off. If he didn’t manage to get the silk off of him he wouldn’t be able to take flight for his attacks, which could be a very serious consequence in this battle; he would have to fight on foot, which isn’t necessarily that species forte. Quilava wanted to run back and help her ally, but she knew that she also had orders that she had to fulfill. She shook her head and took off towards the sleeping bee, hitting him not once, not twice, but three times with her Flame Wheel attack! One her final dash, her final attack, she managed to faint one of her foes. One was down, but you still had a long way to go…

Derping... All Day, Every Day!
A pain wrapped itself around his thumb, as teeth bite down on it. The pain wasn't harsh at all, as if the teeth nibbled on the skin. It was Kaz doing it to himself. The act of nervousness wasn't so much for his pokemon, who at the time were doing fine. Except Poliwag, who he had to regrettably return to her spherical home. The nibble was for Charlotte. The girl had found fear to be a main point, and now she was stiff. The boy told her to run, but she didn't. His stand alone against the bees would be enough. He was sure of it.

There was no time to deal with Charlotte. Kazuki repeated to her about running off, and that he'd make sure both of them were safe. Knowing her, he'll be seeing her in the same spot. At least he wasn't angry about it. But the battle was what he needed to think about; the battle had to take over his mind. With this many enemies, there was no way in hell he couldn't. To him, it was one point for each side. Poliwag had fainted, but in exchange so did a Beedrill. There had to be a different approach though.

"Let's try something slightly different and hope for the best." Kaz said, a little nervous his pokemon would think less of him by trying something new and not being too sure about it. But experimenting with attacks and battles was what Trainers did, and Pokemon followed orders. At least his did, and he'd always appreciate them fighting with him. "Nidoking and Skarmory, use Peck. Flaaffy, use Thunderbolt on another. Quilava, Flame Wheel with Flaaffy. We have to take them down."

Nidoking using Peck x2 on the Male Beedrill (less health)
Skarmory using Peck x2 on Male Beedrill (less health; if faints, goes to a female in random.)
Flaaffy uses Thunderbolt x2 on first female.
Quilava uses Flame Wheel on first female (teaming with Flaaffy)

[Wandering Around]

The chaos surrounding the scene was intense: the wasps were flying all about and lashing out against anything they could find, whether it be an animal or a mere plant or tree in their way. Their sharp daggers cut through the air like swords in the hands of noble and wise nights, hitting many places and dealing a lot of swift damage. And then again, just like the knights, these Beedrill were thoughtlessly obeying their queen. If you were to look up you would see her excellency resting still in the “v” shaped tree that was stationed at the very back of the vast mob. She had her arms resting against the side of the tree and used her hand to prop her head up, as if she was bored watching the battle and had to force herself to watch. Perhaps she herself wanted to fight? That might be true, considering that her followers would never allow her to fight –unless they were unconscious, then the queen could do anything she wished. She shook her head from side to side as she watched another two from her team fall, both a male and a female, and continued to wish on about how she could battle better than any of these other fools. But like said before, she would have to wait. And if she’s learned one thing from being the queen of a swarm she would know patience.

Meanwhile, Charlotte was taking a few steps back. It seemed as if she was still debating with herself whether or not she should leave and was caught right in the middle between the two choices. She took in a deep breath and shook her head, then decided to take a few steps forwards back closer to you. It seems as if she liked the idea of staying with you more than running away, but her Linoone was still weak from earlier so she wasn’t sure if she should put him up for battle. That and she didn’t know if you wanted to deal with them yourselves; she didn’t want to insult you by stepping in and possibly lending a hand. She just ground her teeth together and continued to stand there awkwardly…

Nidoking, still covered in string, tried to run over to the one Beedrill he planned to attack. Surprisingly he seemed to avoid the possible disasters from having his body movements restricted and managed to smack into the wasp with his Peck attack. As he prepared for the next attack, suddenly, he couldn’t move his body because of the string, which allowed the bee to retaliate. The wasp flew into the massive dinosaur with a blast from his Fury Attack and then flew out of the strike zone, allowing another male to swipe down and strike at King with its own attack of Fury Attack as well. The first male that had attacked King had flown off, like said, but ended up running straight into the duel attack from Skarmory. This attack caused the wasp to fall out of the sky and smack down hard onto the ground with a thud, knocked out entirely. One of the wasps, free from a direct enemy, dashed in and slammed into Skarmory just then with another attack –causing little damage due to the typing.

Flaaffy almost managed to faint one of the females on her own with her duel attacks from Thunderbolt, but in the end it was Quilava who helped end its state of consciousness. When the little weasel came around for her second attack, her Flame Wheel was hit dead on by the wasps Twineedle which, unfortunately, inflicted the little one with the poisoned status. More of the free wasps flew around and smacked Quilava around a bit more after they had landed a few hits on Flaaffy as revenge for the fallen, but in the end it was the poison that was effecting the little lamb more than anything.

(Remember, I don't have the highest of muse. I need to get moving on this, though. Let's try it!! :D)

The battle seemed to be pressing on. The boy frowned at how his tadpole was knocked out. He grabbed the pokeball immediately, returning it to the spherical home where it couldn't get hurt anymore. The Beedrill looked aggressive, and Kaz would hate himself if he hadn't recalled Poliwag as quickly as he did. But on the other hand, he had one less pokemon. Slowly, he was knocking the bees out; from six to three, they were slowly going out for the count. The next one was in Nidoking's sights, and as Kaz watched the purple beast eye the insect, a plan hatched into his head. Nothing fancy, of course, but something to keep the battle moving and at a steady pace. It seemed that is all it was, a steady battle.

"Alright, guys! Let's continue!" Kaz said, standing around and watching his pokemon. He had a feeble idea, one that he didn't really like, but one that might better him in the future. He took out a free pokeball. The idea made him slightly hesitate. The space in his head broke apart when he realized his team needed instructions, and before the bees attacked. "Nidoking, use Peck again and aim for the last male. The rest of you should go for the first female Beedrill and attack all together. Not at once, but on that one target. If it faints, move your attacks to the other female!"

Nidoking using Peck x2 on the Male Beedrill
Skarmory using Peck x2 on "Top" Female.
Flaaffy uses Thunderbolt x2 on "Top" Female.
Quilava uses Flame Wheel on "Top" Female; if fainted already or on the first Flame Wheel, going for the second female.

     The battle quickly began again.

It started off with the class between one of the remaining males and your Nidoking, who was growling deeply under his breath. This massive hulk of a creature reared his head back and charged towards the bee with his head bowed, having the sharp horns on his head exposed and ready to impale whatever stood in front of it. The bee, a little disoriented by all of the chaos, was unable to avoid the hit and he took a good deal of damage --especially with King''s Rivalry ability being able to kick in once again. Before the wasp could even recover King slammed his horn into it again, throwing the bee back and into a tree with a hard slam. It fell down to the floor of the forest and was still for a few seconds, but then slowly and steadily his wings began to beat and he was lifted back up off of the ground. His red eyes seemed infuriated; he had taken such a hard hit and yet he hadn't been able to deal any damage in return. The creature hissed towards Nidoking and then turned its attention away, for it had a plan. In a flash it disappeared from King's sight and reappeared by Jolt. It brought one of its massive bladed arms back to build up power and momentum, then it swung all of that might and power into the little lamb. Jolt squeaked and tried to back away, but it was no use. Suddenly another bee caught on and decided to do the same: try to jab jolt to death before her attacks killed them all.

Luckily the first Beedrill that thought about attacking Jolt became paralyzed after doing so, while the other one managed to get away from her unscathed. The lamb was now seriously irritated and looked for her target, then gathered as much energy as she could and tried to zap it into unconsciousness. Unfortunately for her, the female still stood where she was, and she wasn't about to let Jolt ruin her fun of eating away at others health. She swooped down and jabbed Cynder with one of her arms, in a fashion similar to how the others assaulted Jolt earlier on, before retreating up and into the sky. She wasn't a foot or two away from the ground when she was hit by Skarmory with his attack, sending a world of pain her way. The bee fell to the ground with a thud, creating an easy target for the still grounded flying type, who continued to Peck at her until she was out like a light. Skarmory then began to shake his body around, trying to free himself from the string, but he still couldn't seem to get himself out of it all. He looked up and saw a purple hue growing stronger in both Cynder and Jolt's faces; he needed to get out of this and help, because their poisoned status was quickly eating away at their health.

Before everything was said and done, Cynder had one last attack she needed to pull off. She was quickly enveloped in a blanket of flames as she took off towards one of the remaining bees, throwing her body into it and causing a good deal of damage before landing back on all fours. She shook her body to shake off the dirt that was clinging to her fur and then sighed loudly; she was getting tired and her health was draining fast. The Vesiquen in the tree looked down to the little one and smiled, then tried to cover her wicked grin by elegantly placing her hand over her mouth. But still she continued to giggle at your distress...

Derping... All Day, Every Day!
Things really seemed dull in the way of victory for Kazuki. His pokemon were growing tired, and there had been two Beedrill left. Even before fighting the end boss, they had more obstacles. He didn't have the right moved against these bugs, and if he did, he just didn't know it. Which, as he thought like that, he frowned and felt bad about the battle. With what he could muster, he had to devise a plan. And in that plan, he wanted to be safe and start attacking the Queen Bee if a path to her had come available. With four pokemon against two Beedrill, well, if Kaz played things right then it was certainly a maybe.

The boy brought his Poketech to his chest, reading off information like any good Trainer would try to do in the midst of a battle. Not really. He didn't like insects too much, never mind the bug pokemon. They weren't his favorite type, and no where near it. He had found their weakness once before, but as he doubled checked it, he quickly thought of attacks. Kazuki had to take in each of his pokemon's abilities, moves, and weaknesses before really coming up with this plan. It took several minutes, but he had found what he wanted.

"Nidoking, use Horn Attack, twice, on the Beedrill." Kaz had pointed to the one to the left (male). While he did so, he turned to Skarmory in a swift motion. Addressing the bird, "Skarmory, use Peck on the opposite Beedrill." When he was done with the bird, he looked at who could help Skarmory take out the last of the Beedrill, and it seemed pretty close. He had to keep away from the Queen and really take these bastard bees out. "Flaaffy, Thunderbolt twice on the Beedrill that Skarmory attacks. Cinder, use Flame Wheel on the one Nidoking is attacking. For either of you, if you find your target down, immediately go for the queen."

Nidoking, x2 Horn Attack, Male Beedrill
Flaaffy, x2 Thunderbolt, Female Beedrill
Skarmory, x2 Peck, Female Beedrill
Quilava, x2 Flame Wheel, Male Beedrill

The wasps continued to skate through the air, whether it be above you in the canopy of the trees or gliding along side you just to make sure that you were not up to anything tricky. Despite how dull Beedrill normally are, these boys and girls seemed to have at least some level of intelligence. They did well working together for what they would have called "The Greater Good" of their colonies up within the trees. You're Pokemon though tried to swat them away with any method that they could possibly possess; they did everything from physical hits to strike down these pests to full out electrical surges to try and fry them. Looking down at the ground, you could see the fainted bodies of the past few wasps twitching in the grass, unable to move or defend themselves. The last few who stood against you continued to swirl about, trying to dodge whatever they could, but in the end your team would have bested them. It was probably because of all of the STAB tactics that you had available; Jolt was a little power house and Cinder was as sure as hell on her way to become something fierce.

Your team worked together like a unit, using whatever force and strategy they could come up with to help continue blasting through these wasps. When there were only a few left, you could hear King sigh in relief; he was probably getting very tired by now. One by one though your team plucked them away, causing all of the wasps to either fall and crash down into the ground or fall into one of the multiple branches that jutted out from all of the tree's in the area. Each individual Beedrill was also twitching at it's own pace, signaling that there was still some brain function working in these bugs. When everything seemed clear for a second, Charlotte quickly ran to your side, frightfully grabbing your arm as the massive queen glared down at her from her throne.

The Vespiquen tilted her head to the side, then the other, and eventually began to wave one of her hands around as if she was signaling for something to happen. That was when the buzz began again, only this time it was louder. Then, from the trees and from the bushes, multiple wasps and bee's appeared and quickly maneuvered themselves over to their Queen. The Beedrill acted like guards to her, their pointed arms like swords, while the Queen's little bumbling children pod of Combee quickly filled themselves in the branches behind her. The Queen smiled at her young ones, then turned down to look at you with narrow eyes. The setting sun overhead caught her eyes at just the right angle, giving her look an evil red glow that send a small trickle of fear down your spine. Charlotte had felt it too, for her grip had gotten tighter.

Suddenly though the Queen's eyes widened and she threw her arms horizontally from her body in order to tell all of here followers to get behind her. The wasps buzzed around to their Queen, moving the children, then took their places in the treetops like archers waiting for you to make one wrong move. What could have gotten her so jittery? That was when you noticed Charlotte, who had pulled out one of her Pokeballs and was looking prepared to enter the battle herself. "We've got to take her down," she whispered to you, "otherwise she wont leave us be." With a flick of her wrist she released her Linoone to the field, then looked over to you and nodded for you to send out one of your own Pokemon. You would have to choose wisely, for many on your team were weak and exhausted. Thankfully though you would have Charlotte this time around, but by looking at the Vespiquen she seemed more than ready to take the both of you down.

The queen raised a hand out towards you and Charlotte, palm facing up, then began to wave her finger as if to say "bring it on".

Finally on the Queen. As the last obstacle to go, Kazuki was the happiest ever. He couldn't wait to get past this... He'll save the word he was really thinking. Bringing the Poketech to see what her weaknesses were. He wouldn't have much to say to his pokemon, as they were probably all amped up enough to try and take this annoying bug out. Once and for all, that is. It would be simple, though. He pulled up a pokeball and recalled Quilava. He'd only be needing three pokemon, he hoped, as he formulated a plan. It was Nidoking, Flaaffy, and Skarmory. His three strongest to take her down.

"Nidoking and Flaaffy, use two Thunderbolts. Skarmory, get in there afterwards and use two Pecks!"

Before it totally ended in whatever results, Kaz was quick to purchase a few lotto tickets. He had tried it a couple times and never really won. But it could be a good thing this week, or just be a curse to fuel a future gambling addiction.

Shortest post ever. I have little time and wanted to get this in. Sorry, Crosse.

Also bought five tickets in the lotto

As soon as the Queen rose from her throne between the two branches in the tree, she disappeared immediately and reappeared besides Nidoking. She managed to get in a gruel some attack before the massive dinosaur returned fire with two of his electrical attacks. They caused a lot of pain for the Queen, but she still held on and threw herself towards the other two on your team. First she slammed into Flaaffy with another strong attack from her arsenal of moves, and then much like before she took the damage from the lamb right after she had finished attacking herself. The four of these Pokemon were swirling around one another, causing damage from every angle they could possibly find, until Skarmoy launched himself up into the air to continue with his own beatdown of attacks. In the end, the final Peck from the giant steel bird caused Vespiquen to swirl out of the air, hitting the ground with a massive thud. She tried to picker herself up once, but it proved to be of no use, and she collapsed down onto the ground.

All of the remaining bees fled at that instance, leaving the Queen and her fallen soldiers behind to face whatever fate might come there way. Now was a chance you could possibly take if you wanted. Capture the Queen for yourself and make her a part of your team perhaps? If you didn't want her though, there were also some of those fainted Beedrills from earlier on that you could try to catch now since there was no longer a danger around you. If you took a better look, you could see that two of the Beedrill's seemed to be in a decent condition to possibly be captured (since you like poison types, and all).

If you didn't want them however, now was the time to go back to Charlotte and tell her that it was safe to head back to the Pokemon Center. Because you know, she was more than willing to give up the information of where you could get a Bulbasaur now that you had gone way out of your way to keep her and her Linoone protected from that monstrous mob of Beedrill. So what did you want to do first? Catch the Queen? Catch a Beedrill or two for your collection? Or tell Melinda that you think it's safe enough to head back to the Pokemon Center and meet up with Ringo, finally? Of course your team was going to need a lot of healing as well, since most of them took a serious beat down from that massive hoard. So what is it you plan to do, trainer?

(Its the big battles! But now we get on to the more interesting things, right?)

Kaz jumped high into the air, throwing an arm even higher. With a closed fist, a bright smile, and some serious air between him and the ground, his victory was assured. He was so happy that he won. It felt great to him that he could win and prove he was a strong Trainer to himself and Charlotte. Thinking of her, he scanned around. At first he didn't see her. She must've really went to go hide from the queen. Hell, if Kazuki wasn't the one fighting her he might've too. He hated insects. But Nidoking was there for him; as well as Jolt and Skarmory. The latter being nicknamed 'Steel'. Not really original, but who cared. It fit for him.

Bringing out the pokeballs, he returned Steel and Jolt first, seeing that they did a lot to help out. King did too, but the beast of a pokemon threw up an arm to dismiss the pokeball. Like any strong trainer, the starter wanted to stick around and rest up while walking alongside his equally strong human. Nodding to agree, the two went in search of Charlotte. But before they could get out of the area, Kaz turned.

"We could really get something off of that Queen. And if we take her along, well, she can't reassemble any bees. They will be in a panic and hopefully not know what to do." Kazuki was basically bought on the idea of trying a way to preserve the peace in the forest. He didn't have any fancy pokeballs, which he nearly slapped himself for. Taking out a regular Pokeball, he hoped for the best. "Hope this works. Go, Pokeball!" He tossed it and waited for the results.

If he was to catch it, he'd walk off with her, bringing her along. Of course, she might be transferred to the PC and that was okay too. Either way, they had to find Charlotte and get on with things. Nidoking by his side, Kaz felt confident on getting to the next situation.

With an eager pitch, you threw the Pokeball towards the fainted Queen. The sphere spun in air, twirling around and around before it made impact with the unconscious Queen. Slamming right into her forehead, the Pokeball cracked open and released a massive red wave of light. Quickly the light enveloped the Queen’s body, turning her fainted figure into nothing more than a red silhouette now, and then the light retracted back into the ball. The duel colored mechanism snapped shut immediately after the glow had fled back inside of it, quickly then falling down onto the soft grass below and began to roll. The mechanism made strange mechanical sounds as it tried to contain the beast which was held within, wobbling around on the ground as if there was a fight going on. But in the end it slowed down, the pace softening, until the ball stopped moving and it made that sweet “ding” sound as the button on the front of it completely managed to seal the Vespiquen inside. Eagerly you ran to pick it up, whipping off a bit of dirt that was smudged over the smooth polished finish to the Pokeball so that it looked like new again.

Holding the Pokeball out before you, you could hear your Poketech began to beep and buzz as it realized that your team was full. Suddenly it began to beep again and the Pokeball in your hand flashed quickly, as if they were transmitting data to one another. Once your Poketech quieted down, the Pokeball in your hand began to disappear; the sphere began to break down into these blue forms of energy, as if it was from one of those old childish anime that merely had the dead evaporate in the arms of their loved ones rather than bleed out for all of the poor children to see. These little rectangles of blue light floated up out of your hands and into the sky, disappearing into the darkening day, and moving on towards the nearest Pokemon Center’s Personal Computer.

Out of nowhere Charlotte seemed to run at you and through herself at you with a hug; she was so excited that it was finally all over. She eagerly grabbed onto your hand and began to pull you along, walking side by side on your small trip back towards the Pokemon Center and Ringo. And it didn’t take long for you two to reach it..

Millenia Town
[Pokemon Center]

As the two of you walked into the Pokemon Center, you could see Ringo lying down over a couple of cold chairs trying to grab a bit of shuteye while he waited for you and Charlotte to return. The young woman left your side at the site of him, bandaged and bruised, and practically threw herself at him too. Awoken by the sudden glomping, Ringo flailed, and the two of them fell off of the chairs and hit the ground with a thud. They looked at each other for a second, watching each other, then they began to laugh hysterically. Ringo reached his arms out for Charlotte, pulling her close into a hug, and the two of them nuzzled their faces against each others. “What the hell happened to you?” she asked jokingly, only to get the smartass reply of: “I took on a Gyarados with my bare hands while you were diddly daddling along!” The two of them continued to laugh, even as the Nurse came out from the back to check up on Ringo. She smiled at the site and nodded towards you thankfully before returning to her duties.

Ringo picked himself up off of the ground and lent a hand down to help up Charlotte. Smiling, they held each other’s hands and walked over to you, a big grin on each of their faces. “You don’t know” Ringo sighed, rubbing his free hand on the back of his head, “how much it means to me that you managed to bring her back here safe. Really. You saw how messed up I was. I would have never forgave myself if I had just left her out there all on her own.” Charlotte smiled and turned back to Ringo, pouting her lips as she tried to pull a few heartstrings. “Yes left me to the mercy of a hoard of bees you did, Ringo.” she said, “But if it wasn’t for Kazuki here I wouldn’t be back by your side tonight. Now tell me, did you manage to do it?” For some reason Charlotte had gotten super excited, for she turned and was now holding both of Ringo’s hands in her own and was staring him in the eye.

“Mhm, “ he said smiling, “just give me one second.” With he released Charlottes hands and looked to you once before scurry off to one of the back rooms. He walked out with a box in his hands and his Ivysaur at his side. He beckoned the two of you over to the counter where he placed the box down, then picked up his Ivysaur and held it to his chest. He waved for the two of you to look inside, and that was where you saw three little eggs. “You did it!” Charlotte screamed, running to him and embracing both Ringo and Ivysaur in a hug, “My god you did it, Ringo! You’ve always wanted to be a breeder. My god this is amazing. Oh Ivysaur your little babies are going to be so precious!” Charlotte cooed to the Ivysaur, snuggling her nose against the small dinosaur who blushed cutely. Ringo pecked Charlotte on the forehead, then turned to you and said very eagerly: “You said you were looking for a Bulbasuar, well I’ve just so been attempting to breed them. I wanted to be a breeder for children’s starter Pokemon, which are normally a bit more difficult to breed despite the large amount of number of people that need them. As a git to you, Kazuki, I’ll let you take one of my first little prized possessions as a small thank you for saving the love of my life. Of course I can never truly repay you, but I thought this would be a good start.”

Derping... All Day, Every Day!
The reunion of the two lovers seemed to make things still in the Pokemon Center. Nurse Joy nodded a thanks to Kazuki, while it seemed empty and dull inside. Business was slow today, it seemed. Ringo and Charlotte seemed to have a little love thing going on and as Kaz was going to walk away, he heard Ringo and Charlotte thank him in their own way. Of course, a present and gift for appreciate. A choice of three eggs, made especially from Ringo's Ivysaur from before. It seemed to be such a choice, having a few eggs. Obviously the pokemon coming out would be level one. Kaz poked towards the middle egg.

"I'll take care of that one." Kaz smiled, happy that his goal had come a reality without a heroic adventure to save the Bulbasaur. Something like a baby pokemon could help him out a lot with relearning how to take care of lesser leveled and trained pokemon. "Congrats, Ringo, that you were able to breed them. I guess I'll be seeing you guys around!" With that, Kaz moved away. He turned on his heel and walked towards the personal computer.

Leaving the couple behind, they probably went on to talking about the adventure and how Ringo had been able to breed his Ivysaur. Charlotte seemed to be really happy for him. He was lucky to have such a girl. But now Kaz was faced with a few different wants and needs. Actually, none of them were needs but only wants. Peddleton was the first gym on the long list of available targets. It would, no doubt, be a rather easy target for him. It was something in his head telling him to wait for the Bulbasaur to hatch, train it up, and also help his other weaker ones. But three pokemon in his team had the chance for learning new moves that had already been touched upon. Not to mention three pokemon in his PC that could give him items to sell. Tutoring. It was something Kazuki loved to do.

He was at the Personal Computer, and took out the pokeballs for Steel, Swirl, and Cinder. In respect, Skarmory, Poliwag, and Quilava. A Poliwhirl was something he had wanted for a long time, but it wasn't a pokemon he'd pursue for so many levels right now. Wanting to help a secondary part of his team, he quested to deposit them. He took out his Shellder, hearing that Pearls and Big Pearls can go for a lot of money. Now, he still had about two slots left. He decided that it was worth nothing to tutor the pokemon he had on reserve. Instead, he brought Poliwag back into his party, accompanying it was Gastly.

Going outside the Pokemon Center, smelling freedom, was something very new to Kaz. Lately, he had been tutoring and running from bees, and fighting a hell of lot of battles. It was beautiful to be able to decide what to do. But he already knew what he'd try to do. Tutor. Battle. And train. He wanted Nidoking stronger then ever... He wanted Poliwhirl, a strong water type to be on his team. Releasing his team, they all stretched and knew what was in store for them.

"Here we go again, girls and boys!" Kaz stretched his arms up and over his head. It was going to be another long day.

Concerning Shellder

Kazuki looked at the clam pokemon. He kneeled down, eyeing it ever so more as he approached. The thing was known for a few different reasons. Evolving a Slowpoke into a Slowking at times. Making Pearls and Big Pearls. Cloyster was also a nice and strong looking pokemon that Kazuki had dreamt of obtaining before. This one would be more for a money situation, which made the boy feel slightly bad. It had to be done for money though. Kaz picked it up, carrying it to a bench on the side of the street not far from the Pokemon Center. The rest of the team followed, but it was the reason he put the clam on the bench that he was more concerned about.

"Shelldar, please make me a Big Pearl. We'll be tutoring moves right in the street. They are rare, and we could use a boost in money in case we need something." He asked politely, right?
Tutors

:nidoking

"Today is not going to finish Chip Away. While that move is a good one, and I wanted to teach you before... I feel that since you should be learning it soon (given your strength at its point now) there is only use for experience to teach it. The next move may be one that will be your last. But first, I found another to get you going." A beep interrupted Kaz, as he looked down, he spotted another move that he wanted to teach King. The list would prove endless for the poor purple beast. "We'll focus on everything later. Right now, Sludge Wave. You remember how we did Sludge Bomb? At first, you had only been making liquid, like Toxic. How about you do that again? Use Sludge Bomb but don't make it go through all the stages. They are the same amount of power. Start using Sludge Bomb, but don't harden it. Instead, make it into a pool that surrounds you and makes a small swamp of poison ooze!"

:flaaffy

"You missy still have Wild Charge to finish. I don't like the idea of it hitting you for a recoil, but we started it and might as well finish it. Plus, you're my electric powerhouse! Let's recap and review and go forward. Shroud yourself in the strong electricity you have. Thunder. Start to use Thunder, but instead of launching that powerful attack, keep it on you. Then run into a tree and strike it down. That is what Wild Charge is. The user will be covered in a strong electricity, and tackle. You got this Flaaffy!"

:trubbish

"Like Jolt, you have a move we started. You went pretty good for a first time. Toxic. You started getting some of that liquid out, but lets go for more. Think of Poison Gas, the poison genetic stuff that comes out to make it... think of it as a liquid. Use Venoshock to kind of get a grasp on it." Kaz thought of a beast that had the move.

"Nidoking, come show Trubbish what Toxic looks like!" Kaz said, holding his noise because Trubbish's stink started to get to him.
Battles

:gastly and :poliwag

"You guys are a bit young. Your gap in power is also a problem. Both of you look for separate battles."

*Tutoring. Poliwag and Gastly looking for separate battles. Shellder is making BIG PEARL. Counters are lessened. Egg is in need of being added to Profile and being hatched. Don't know if that is halved or not.

Stepping outside the Pokemon Centre you felt like you were getting your first breath of fresh air in ages. Of course you had been outside most of your journey, but now, finally, you have no obligations, no quests to embark on, no immediate goals. Now, finally, you were free. Free to choose whatever you wanted to do. Choosing to tutor your Pokemon was a good idea, it would not only make your team stronger, but strengthen your bonds with them. Having Shellder make you a pearl for some extra cash wasn't a bad idea either. The little clam got to work making you some money.

For the tutors we'll start with Nidoking, the de facto leader of your team (well I assume he is, I mean he WAS your first Pokemon). After showing Trubbish how to use Toxic he got to work on his own attack. He understood what you meant by a half-formed Sludge Bomb, and he tried to make it happen. He was able to successfully create a nice sludgy liquid, but not in nearly enough quantities. What's more, once he created the mass of sludge it didn't really do much, just sort of fell to the floor. He'd need to work on quantity and control over the substance, but for now he had a really good foundation.

:nidoking Sludge Wave: 35%

Next up is Flaaffy. Jolt was still a little uneasy about holding in that much electricity, but she trusted you. She charged up enough energy for a Thunder, but before automatically releasing it she resisted the urge to rid herself of the electricity. She ran forward, but as she moved toward her invisible target she felt control over the electricity slip, and bolts of energy flew off of her. She'd need to work on holding it all together while still giving a powerful hit, but at least now she was comfortable containing that much power.

:flaaffy Wild Charge: 55%

Finally we come to Trubbish. Seeing King perform the attack was very helpful. He let the poison ooze out of him and felt it running on to the ground. He did just as King did and...eureka! He did it! Looks like he's mastered Toxic. Now, I'm going to stay as far away from him as possible, because the smell is starting to kill my cat.

:trubbish Toxic: 100%

Meanwhile, Poliwag and Gastly were looking for opponents to face. Swirl was looking around and was about to give up, when suddenly he saw the weirdest looking fish he'd ever seen. It was brown and flat and pretty damn ugly. It must've wandered away from the beach. The perfect opponent! He was about to attack when a bolt of electricity shot out from it, hitting the ground only inches away from Swirl. Looks like this will be no easy walk in the park.

:stunfisk :male Level 16

Gastly was also looking for someone or something to fight. He heard a noise above him and saw a grey bird looking at him funny. As if he had intruded on her territory. Uh oh, looks like he found an opponent alright. She flew down to him and got into a weird bird-ish fighting stance. Gastly was ready, time to show her who's boss!

Nidoking

:nidoking

The boy watched as his Nidoking helped Trubbish with ease, then go to the side for his own move. The attempt looked good, but in a way was a feeble one. Being a new move that seemed to pop into the moveset of King, Kaz barely knew what amount of progress it had actually made. He was hoping that the move was at least a quarter of the way finished. Maybe if the beast could produce more, and send it further. But that was a lot to go by in one round more. Breaking it down, Kaz would move on to quantity before distance. Stepping next to it, he patted it on the back.

"Good job, King. Try to produce more of the sludgy liquid. You need more before sending it any distance.
Flaaffy

:flaaffy

The sheep seemed hesitant. He couldn't understand at first, but the answer soon came around to him. The Thunder move was very power, and holding it in must've intimidated the electric type. But in a way, he thought it must feel good to her. Finding the time and room to move closer, Kaz spoke lightly to her.

"Jolt, that was great. Try that again, but try your hardest to control it longer. The longer you hold it, the more powerful you'll feel. Strike a tree or something and really feel how amazing the power of your element is."
Battles and...

:trubbish | :poliwag | :gastly

The area around the pokemon slightly stunk like... garbage. At first, Kaz hoped it was a garbage bin on the side of the road next to someone's house. Unfortunately, it was no surprise that it wasn't what he thought and hoped for it to be. Instead, a petit bag of garbage that moved began to heavily stink. Trubbish, learning his newest move, created a foul stench. It was sad, but Kaz had to rush to return it to a pokemon. He never thinks he'll get used to that smell..

To the battles, Kaz had spotted both. For Poliwag, it seemed to have a conflict with a new pokemon. As well as Gastly, picking a fight with a new pokemon. A glance at the Poketech revealed that the two were called Stunfisk and Pidove, respectfully. It didn't matter much; once Kaz went through his Poketech, it was a matter of time before he knew what he wanted each pokemon to use.

"Swirl, use Ice Beam on Stunfisk. Twice. It is a strong move and super effective!"

"Gastly, ghost moves won't work. Take it out with some Dark Pulse! Two of them, please."

A lot of stuff going on here. Let's try to put this into some order that makes sense. I'll start with the tutors as that seems to be the most logical order. Before anything, however, you returned Trubbish and everyone breathed a sigh of relief (then a gag of disgust because the stench hadn't fully left the area yet).

King listened to what you said and focused really hard. He felt himself forming a sludgy ball, but then stopped halfway. Like before, it plopped to the ground. He had gotten the feel for making just the liquid, so he kept forming more, and more, and more. Eventually he was standing in a puddle of his own toxic sludge. That's a good start, he's definitely got the quantity down. Now he just needs to force it out like a wave. Perhaps by creating the sludge and forcing it out as he makes it he'll get it right.

:nidoking Sludge Wave: 50%

Moving on to Flaaffy. She found a nice tree off to the side to practice on. She charged up a massive amount of power and held it in. At first it was a little scary, but she got used to it and with time began to actually enjoy the feeling of the electricity. She started moving forward, slowly at first but picking up speed as she went until she was running. She slammed into the tree and released all the power into it. It was a phenomenal blast, dealing major damage to the tree. In fact it incinerated it. Maybe a tree wasn't the best target but what's done is done. She almost has it perfect. She just needs to put more power into her physical charge, but otherwise she has it down. Remember, this attack causes recoil damage, so she should hit her target hard enough to hurt herself a bit.

:flaaffy Wild Charge: 85%

Now we come to the battles. First is Swirl the Poliwag. His Ice Beam shot out and did some pretty good damage (though of course it could've probably been better), but failed to freeze the target. His second Ice Beam shot forth and again hit, but was quickly countered by two swift Thundershocks. The damage was pretty powerful, considering super effectiveness and STAB, but Swirl was still standing. Funny enough, both Pokemon did the exact same amount of damage to each other. Funny how it works out like that. One more round and this battle will be over. It'll all boil down to who's faster, you or the fish. Think carefully and you could win this, I believe in you!

Battle #1

Making our way to the second battle, we see yet more excitement. Gastly opened up with two Dark Pulses. Both attacks hit pretty hard, dealing good damage. Pidove wasn't down yet though. She knew her only chance to damage you was with Gust, so she used a Leer to lower Gastly's defence before sending one his way. The damage was pretty impressive, but nothing to write home about. Gastly was still on top. A couple more round like that and you'll be rid of her in no time.

Battle #2
