Derping... All Day, Every Day!
|
A lot had happened in the last few moments. Kaz's team seemed to have one, finishing off all of the Ninjask and powering up. In fact, each and every pokemon leveled at least once. Nidoking became the strongest, again, and reigning champ on the team. While Flaaffy was right behind him. The entire team would need some more training, and the boy wanted to pick out the best spots for them to individually train. Cyndaquil in a forest like this, or field. Poliwag in a volcano, or somewhere like Meteoric Plains. Speaking of Cyndaquil, Kazuki wanted him to evolve and--what the hell!? Skarmory landed was a bit of a surprise, so Kaz returned the team in a hurry. The bird seemed to be in a bit of an uproar about something. Seeing as Kazuki couldn't understand him, they took off in a hurry down a path. Some things became distracting. It wasn't long before the true truth behind Skarmory's appearance was evident. It had been the girl! At least this one. The boy seen how worried the girl was and he began to listen and get up to run. As they started, he looked over. "Hey, are you Ringo's friend?" He couldn't forget the true mission, or task, at hand. Ringo was a little messed up, and he'd accepted. This all started when he admired the man's Ivysaur. So now he was sent into a battle, sent into the forest, and sent running from something he didn't even know what it was. "If whatever it is catches up, I'm prepared for a battle. You can run a head!" |

In My Little White Room Again
|
Millenia Town [Wandering Around] The woman slowed her pace down as she neared closer and closer to you, her boot crackling against the dry leaves which smothered the ground below her. Her piercing green eyes seemed to question you as she looked you over, taking a few raspy breaths, for she thought you would have taken off with the entire hullabaloo she had created moments ago. She tilted her head to the side, her chest still heaving, as she tried to turn your mush words (she hadn’t a clue what you had said, for her ears were ringing with panic) into something understandable. Eventually she shook her head and wiped her brow with the back of her hand, then with a quick jerk she casted off the sweat from her hand to the ground. She laughed a little, still struggling to breath, as she said: “Yes, yes I am! My name is Charlotte –I’m guessing that Ringo sent you out to find me; I must have made him worry..” she said, putting her face in her hands as she continued to heave for she hadn’t yet settled down. She allowed her face to pop back up after a few seconds with a small smile, her breath slowing down as she gained more control over herself and the situation. She then listened to you, hearing about how you offered to stay behind and deal with whatever she was running from so that she could run on ahead and get out of the forest. After gathering her thoughts for a few moments she managed to come up with a solution, especially after she had just gotten a look at King who was still by your side. “Your team,” she began, “they are exhausted, aren’t they? No, no, I can’t have you stay behind and deal with that little bitch and her minions, I won’t have it; it would be suicide.” Charlotte began to tap her foot on the ground impatiently as she held her chin between her thumb and forefinger, trying to think of some other potential plan. A light popped up in her eyes as she held up her index finger, showing she had an idea in mind. “How about,” she began, “we try to get out of here together; try to throw them off with a zig zag pattern and whatnot? We might not be able to escape them, but it will give your team some time to heal as well as my own (I’ve only got one, but hell it’s something).” Charlotte laughed a little as she moved away from you and towards the path which lay ahead, beckoning you with a nod to follow. “Come on, we can’t wait around like this; they are gaining ground I’m sure of it. That and I really don’t want to keep Ringo waiting on me any longer, he’s already going to have a long hard laugh after hearing about my adventure hiking my happy ass up here..” she said, mumbling off at that last sentence as a little tangent to herself. She had a pair of what seemed to be gardener gloves on her hands, which she straightened quickly, before wiping the dirt off of them onto her jeans. She tucked her hair behind her ears, getting the brunette mass out of the way, as she walked further away from you. “Come on!” she said, waving her hands to entice you to follow. |

The boy had no choice! She was the one being chased and he had a hard enough time with the Ninjask. Although no one on his team fainted, Nidoking and Flaaffy came close with their energy. He had seem them lower them usual, with fatigue shining through like a flashlight in the dark. Which means it was bad. With that in mind he only nodded to Charlotte and started to follow her in her path back towards the Pokemon Center, well, Ringo. Kaz hadn't the time to tell her what had gone on and if he had, well, he begun to fear what she might do. It wasn't his fault, but if he had been more careful maybe something could've been different. No matter, it was a race to get out of the woods and away from danger now! "Alright. Sounds like a good plan!" The boy repeated a nod, picking up his pace. Nidoking had to be tired, so the sphere Kaz had attached to his belt came up within one of his hands, allowing a crimson beam to engulf and absorb the massive pokemon. His purple beast would rest up in his pokeball, learning to save himself to fight another day while Kaz worried about getting them all out of this terrible mess. "I have to tell you something, Charlotte." Kaz stopped, pausing by jogging in place. He looked down at the ground, but not entirely where she would think the worst had happened. Ringo was in the care of a Nurse, so that he trusted. It was what Charlotte thought and did next that Kazuki worried most about. "Ringo had a small accident. He'll be okay, but..." Again, he paused. This time to let some of his words soak in and process. When he felt it sort of safe, he began talking again, "He is at a Pokemon Center with his pokemon. We'll have to meet him there. He was very worried. I told him I'd go and get you and bring you back safely." With that, he was done and had caught up to Charlotte. With what he said, he was beginning to fear her stopping and an inevitable battle pursuing. But, what could he do!? With news like that he only had to try and keep her calm. |

In My Little White Room Again
|
Millenia Town [Wandering Around] The two of you began hiking up through the dense forest along a rugged little path against the side of a hill. Tree’s clung overhead and blotted out the sun as you made your way around the hill, watching the slivers of sunlight that escaped through the tree’s leaves dance along the dirt and rock covered ground in extravagant motions. Charlotte always kept a few feet ahead of you though; she scaled up the rocky pathway easily with her combat boots, she didn’t have the slightest fear of slipping up or falling –she was at total ease with her surroundings. The two of you continued to skate around the hill until you came to a split in the road..something you hadn’t seen before. Charlotte, slightly dumbfounded, turned around and studied the landscape behind her. This is where she saw you come from, wasn’t it? Hell, everything looked the same..except for the break in the road which lead to potentially two different places. The woman puffed out her lips and cheeks in irritation; she was not happy with this detour. She looked at her options: to the left was down the hill, a deep and potentially dangerous path covered with rocks, massive branches that had fallen from the trees and rolled down the hills during storms, and god knows what could possibly be living beneath them. The other path was on the lighter side, for the rocks faded away and were eventually replaced with a path of dirt. Charlotte was not dumb, nor stupid, nor ignorant. She knew the possibilities and she avoided them, knowing that she could not afford any more trouble then what she was already in. So she ran to the lighter path and called you over, yelling for you to come on over and follow her to god knows where. So the two of you then continued through the dirt path, watching for any potential wildlife and any potential threats, when you eventually told her about Ringo. At first she was quiet, not sure what to say and possibly shocked, but she then took in a deep breath and muttered: “Dammit, Ringo! What have you gotten yourself into this time?” And with that out of the way, the two of you then rounded the side of the hill and came to a tranquil little area that was lush with life and berries. Down the side of a small cliff of rocks that lay on the side of the hill poked out a small spring, which slithered down through the limestone and gouged out what appeared to be a twenty by twenty foot pond filled to the brim with lilypads and other aquatic flowers. Mud was scuffled around the edge of the bank, signifying that living creatures often used this as a path to enter to and from the small spring fed pond. To your left there were two small bushes amongst the mess of trees, once was speckled with pink plump berries while the other was speckled with a few small rotund lilac ones, and then to your right there were a few fallen logs that were imbedded in the ground –like a natural seat of sorts. The young woman laughed out loud at the sight, she seemed to be so pleased! She threw down her backpack onto the log and swirled around, taking in the glorious feeling that was wrapping around her, as she ran back over to you and grabbed a hold of your hand. “This place,” she said, “this place is beautiful. Just look at all of this, all of it! Can you see them; the Pokemon?” she said as she pointed her finger out towards specific areas in the small wooded area. “Look up in the tree, see that web? There is more than likely a Spinerak of sorts living up in there. Oh and over there, besides the pond in the grass, look! It’s a Gloom sleeping against the pond grass. And look! –a Lombre sleeping in the water alongside the lilypads!” she said, “This place is beautiful!” The little Gloom who was snug against the grass opened her eyes to see what all the commotion was about, but she found you of a little or no threat so she slumbered back off to sleep. The Lombre, more skeptical then the Gloom, growled slightly before ducking his head under the water –leaving only his lilypad cap visible. Charlotte sat down onto the log and pulled out a Pokeball, which she then tossed up into the air and watched joyfully as the crimson light danced down and fell before her. As the light broke, it revealed her beautifully groomed Linoone, who sat up on his back legs and gazed at his trainer curiously. “We’re going to take a break here, Linoone.” she said to the little one as she pet his head lovingly. “Now go grab one of those Pecha berries; you need to go eat that and clear out the poison in your body.” The little one nodded and darted off in a flash, plopping off a berry from the shrub into his mouth as he wolfed it down. The young woman then turned her attention to you, and smiled before she spoke: “I know Ringo; he’ll be fine. But right now I think it would be best if we rested here and gathered our strength since we are not sure if we lost that little bitch and her squad..” she said as she inspected the wooded area around her. “Let’s rest for a bit!” she said as she laid down onto the log, her Linoone crawling into the hollowed out area and curling into a ball before he too went to sleep. Derping... All Day, Every Day!
|
The day was slightly saved as Charlotte stayed calm. She seemed to know Ringo would be okay and even said so. They must go way back or he is just prone to injuries. Whatever the matter, Kaz was glad nothing bad would come towards him. Aside from the crazy journey into the woods. That may be about it thus far. As they avoided whatever had been chasing Charlotte, they found a new place to be but were so tired. As Charlotte released her Linoone, Kaz realized it was poisoned by the type of berry she mentioned. Speaking of pokemon, he needed to heal his as well. He needed for Nidoking and the rest to gain their health and energy back as quickly as possible. Who knows what crazy stuff can be right around the corner. A fight-picking Kangaskhan, A super-charged and can't be controlled Pikachu, and of course the swarm of Beedrill or some other pokemon that you wouldn't want to be caught dead with (swarm wise). Releasing all six of his pokemon, Kaz felt a little nervous. Aside from tutoring separately, this would be the first encounter between some of them. Nidoking stretched every limb he had. His arms went wide, tail went out, and his month opened wide for a yawn. The Flaaffy pretty much did the same, however she was a little more conservative being a female and all. They were the top dogs in Kazuki's party, who at one point (actually not long ago) had looked over the Cyndaquil and Poliwag. Those two glanced back and forth at each other and then at the bigger pokemon. Maybe they looked up to them, who knows. Skarmory, off to the side, had his wings down and a confident, almost cocky, look about him. Trubbish, well, would have a hard time fitting in because of his usual smell. "Heh, Charlotte, don't mind the little green one." Kaz said, pointing Charlotte away from Trubbish. It was his future poison pokemon, alongside Nidoking. Kaz recalled that his pokemon were using moves left and right, but no matter what he'd wait to eat any sort of berries until they were about to leave. "Hey, you six can relax and rest a little. I'm pretty sure we haven't had a moments rest since each of you joined me. Sorry I over work you all." Kaz frowned a little, but he could make up for his sad feeling by allowing them to rest and enjoy the day for what was left. |

In My Little White Room Again
|
Millenia Town [Resting Area] With a flick of the wrist, your entire team was released into the little reservation where they could all stretch out and relax. Each Pokeball snapped shut tightly after their components where released, and then one by one you moved them from your cupped hands to your belt where you clipped them on for safe keeping. As you lifted your head up, you could now see Charlotte moving over closer to the log like seat, while the others of your team spread out over the area, swarming to different locations that seemed more suitable for their needs. Nidoking, who was the bulk of strength on your team, went over to quaint area beneath a dense and thick tree, where he slid down back against it and curled up into a sleeping position. He wrapped his massive tail around the underside of his body, so that he could keep himself warm with the soft winds floating about in the area, and quickly the massive behemoth dozed off and into sleep. He seemed to snore a little here and there, which was really cute, but other than that he was perfectly relaxed and off in his own dreamworld. The others, such as Flaaffy and Poliwag, wondered over to the little pond that lay in the corner of the area –with the trickling of the spring feeding the small pond being the only noise to their ears. The little tadpole did a belly flop into the sweet sensational liquid, ignoring the Lombre who was also residing within it, while Flaafy sat at the edge of the pond and allowed her little feet and tail to dangle in the water. Poliwag would pop up and down from the water occasionally, joking around and just having fun, while the Lombre eventually crawled over to a more secluded section where he continued to be off on his own. Luckily for you, the wild Pokemon didn’t seem to bother with you and your team; they just kept to themselves mostly. The Gloom that sat at one edge of the bank would awake from her deep sleep every now and then, examine who was around her, smile, then doze off again only to repeat the process moments later. The Spinerak that lay sleeping in whole in a tree that draped over the pond never came out, so it could be assumed that the little one was fast asleep as well. You then had your odd balls, like Skarmory. This magnificent bird wanted nothing more than to gain a distance between himself and the others of his team, so he perched himself up upon a high branch in one of the trees where he finally settled down. He tucked his head down beneath his wings, poking out every now and then to get a view of what was going on around him –it was almost as if the steel bird was trying to multitask by getting relaxation and keeping watch at the same time. Your other odd ball was Cyndaquil, who wandered off to the berry bush by her lonesome and began to roll about in the vegetation. She squeaked happily as the bushes ruffled when she through her weight upon them, watching as some berries plopped down onto the ground..which she proceeded to scarf down her throat and devour it juicy goodness. Oh yes, and then there was Trubbish who was hanging out around you, probably terrified because he wasn’t well acquainted to the team. Charlotte looked down to the little bag like creature and smiled, then pat her lap slightly to summon her Linoone. The creature snaked out from within the log she sat upon and into her lap in a matter of seconds, each and every one of the creatures movements were as beautiful and graceful as the next, where it purred and rolled around in his masters lap in order to gain some love and attention. Charlotte laughed and played with her Linoone, a sweet and delicate smile on her face, when eventually he too settled down –which he proceeded to follow by falling asleep in Charlotte’s lap. Looking around for a second, Charlotte then placed her hand on her Pokemon and began to lovingly stroke it down it back as she hummed to it. She eventually caught your eye and waved you over to sit beside her, which was when she began talking in a low but peaceful sounding voice. “So,” she would begin, “how did Ringo get hurt? Was he a dumbass and smashed his face in with a shovel or what? And where did you meet him? You must have just met him, because he would have told me about a nice boy like you if he had known you for a while..” [1/3] Edited by Crosse, May 14 2011, 09:19 PM.

Derping... All Day, Every Day!
|
The pokemon all had their own thing to do, and were doing so peacefully. Nidoking and Skarmory seemed to take to resting, napping as it seemed. While Flaaffy and Poliwag were awake but relaxing all the same, in a small pond next to the Lombre. At one point, Kaz found himself nearly reaching out as to grab Poliwag before seeing the Lombre move without trouble. A long sigh came from the boy, as he didn't want trouble. If the Lombre had attacked, surely Poliwag would be out quick, but Flaaffy could try and protect. Cyndaquil was another young one, along with Trubbish. The former had played with berries while the latter seemed to stick closer to home. Hell, Kaz was getting use to the smell already. Seeing the Linoone seemed to hypnotize Kaz. Watching the pokemon act so natural reminded him of wild pokemon and how they are when living their lives. He wondered if all of his would like to live wild, as he only understood that being cooped up in a mechanical sphere for hours on end can be bothersome. It was a very happy moment having them all out, as he planned for this kind of thing more often if anything. As a voice broke the seemingly silent atmosphere, Kaz turned alert. How he met Ringo was a whole other story. In fact, one that was short so he might as well tell Charlotte. What started off as wanting a Bulbasaur as amazing looking as the man's Ivysaur turned out to be a job seeking boy finding himself against a group of Raticate who seemed to be a little more vicious then you'd normally think. Explaining this to Charlotte might make her laugh, or she may frown a little. We'd have to see. "Actually..." Kaz started, before sitting not to far away from the woman, having Trubbish stay close to his back. He beckoned for Cyndaquil to leave the berries alone and join him, which it did in almost the same fashion as the Linoone. "I was on the hunt for a Bulbasaur. I have a dilemma and a side of it kind of has a place for a grass type. Ringo had been gardening and I found him and his Ivysaur. Admiring it, I asked him about finding some. It is kind of a blur, thinking back on it after all that has happened here." A thumb met his mouth, his teeth gently biting down on it until he began to talk, "all I know is we were forced in a fight with a group of Raticate. I think one of them bite his arm, and he lost a lot of blood. I had been so focused on finishing the rats; if only I was careful." Realizing the entire thing was sort of his fault, again, Kaz frowned. "Sorry this happened Charlotte. If I had been better in the battle, none of this might have happened and instead of me it could be Ringo coming to get you." |

In My Little White Room Again
|
Millenia Town [Resting Area] The young woman brushed her long hair back behind her ear with her slender hand as she listened to you speak; she kept quiet, more than likely thinking to herself about what had gone on during her absence, but luckily upon further inspection you began to get the sense that she wasn’t too disturbed or traumatized by what had happened. Of course she wasn’t apathetic to the whole situation; I mean, her boyfriend (which he is, not sure if I mentioned this before) was just practically mauled by a bunch of bloodthirsty rodents so she was concerned..but she wasn’t flailing about and dragging you off into god knows what kind of trouble. She was looking down to the ground now, at her feet which were swinging slightly off of the log seat and kicked at the dirt ground, as she continued to think. Her eyes soon lifted up from the floor and moved to her lap, where her Linoone was cuddled into her and fast asleep, which caused her to smile. She stroked the little creature gently with the back of her hand, her eyes following the movement as she expressed her love and admiration for her dear Pokemon, before he eyes slowly turned and looked up to you. She wore a blank expression while she gazed at you, not sure what to say at that exact moment, but then her eyes dropped down to the little Trubbish that was trying to climb on top of the fallen log. He flailed his arms as his stubby little legs tried to push himself up, and after much struggle he managed to climb onto the log and sit besides his trainer, you. Charlotte turned away, laughing, and trying to cover her smile on her face by putting her hand up to cover her mouth –much like when a lady covers her mouth when she needs to speak while eating. She slowly turned her head back around to look at Trubbish, who was glaring at her and absolutely not amused that she found his feat to be hysterical, which caused her to burst out laughing again –it was just one of those moments where a facial expression, which meant to be dead serious, just seemed absolutely funny on each and every level of humor possible. Trubbish growled though, for he wasn’t happy with what had gone on, but he sucked it up and turned around on the log –so that his back was facing you and Charlotte. “Oh I’m so sorry Trubbish,” she said, still trying to control the giggles which overwhelmed her, “it’s nothing personal –I swear!” Her Linoone’s eyes slowly began to open and blink as his trainer continued laughing; he was slowly waking up from his short laugh. He yawned and stretched his body out, taking up about another two feet of space as he totally branched out his body in all angles, mouth agape, as he began to roll over and over as he slowly brought his body and mind back and into full consciousness. Shaking the sleep off, her got up in his trainers lap and twirled around so that he was now facing you before he settled down again. The little weasel rested his head on his master’s thigh, with his body coiled in her lap, as his periwinkle eyes studied you as you sat besides his trainer. He cocked his head to the side, and then the other, as he tried to make you out, but eventually he gave in and he turned his head to the side and began to study your team as they too continued to stretch out and relax. Charlotte, who was watching her Linoone all the while, smiled down at him and stroked the back of his head after he had finally settled down and left you alone. She scratched behind the little ones ears with her thumb and forefinger, smiling as the weasel’s hind leg began to kick at the air, and then she stopped, petted him once more, and then just rest her hand atop his head. Charlotte then turned to you, her face still with a slight smile, as she tried to think about what to say. “Ringo is always getting into trouble,” she said, taking in a deep breath and finally breaking the silence, “but thank you for watching out for him. And no, don’t say that; I’m sure you battled your best. And hey, if I you didn’t battle and help him I wouldn’t have met you and your impressive team.” she said, her voice trailing off at the end. Her smile widened as she thought of something, and she turned to you, quite excited, as she spoke: "A Bulbasaur, eh? Their adorable little things don’t you think; they are quite useful too! Well I have to say, you couldn’t have stumbled upon a better man to help you out with your search; Ringo is the most knowledgeable here in Millenia about all grass type Pokemon that I know of! I know, without a doubt, that he will be able to find you one easy; and probably give you to it at a discount, seeing as how you saved his dumb ass and picked me up for him.” She laughed and covered her mouth, as she rocked back on the log and Linoone struggled to keep his balance in her lap. Trubbish, curious as to what the entire ruckus was, moved his head over his shoulder to look back at you and Charlotte. He narrowed his little eyes, still upset about having been laughed at, but then, of course, Charlotte caught her eye and laughed again –causing the little one to blush and turn back around with his back to the two of you. He started grumbling to himself, for he wasn’t too happy, but hell, he kind of set himself up for that breakdown of self esteem. [2/3] |

Derping... All Day, Every Day!
|
Kaz watched as Charlotte's face failed to change until the Trubbish's act. The little bag pokemon tried getting on the log and got quite far, reaching the top and was an accomplishment for it, no doubt. When it heard Charlotte's giggles, that feeling of victory seemed to leave him. Kaz sat gently on the log next to the Trubbish, making sure it didn't roll. He patted the pokemon on the head, smiling at it as he did. "It is okay, Trubbish." Kaz said, keeping a bright smile on his face. Quickly glancing to the rest of the team, this seemed to be the best moments so far in their journey. But Kaz left the Trubbish to return sitting next to Charlotte. Upon sitting, the Cyndaquil seemed to come over. Its flames weren't going, blazing to keep warm. It sat next to Kaz's bottom and rested against it. All the same, the pokemon were resting in such a peaceful look. Nidoking and Flaaffy, by far, have been the hardest workers--with all the tutors and such. It really seemed nice to give them this break. Cyndaquil seemed to be using this time to gain some attention and love from his Trainer, as the others played and painted a beautiful picture in their Trainer's mind. Charlotte's words brought Kazuki back to reality, a reality of pokemon, fighting, and hardships. Mentioning the rats did it, that's for sure. While she spoke, Kaz couldn't help but to grimace. He may have kept on battling, eventually defeating the Raticate. He may have taken up the task to find Charlotte, and ended up fighting a few Ninjask and being chased by who knows what. All the same, he didn't feel as if he deserved the Bulbasaur--though, he knew resisting Charlotte wouldn't work either; she had already tried cheering him up so he felt as if he should keep his feelings to himself. "Though, I am still a lot undecided. I originally wanted a Bulbasaur to help with gardening and other things around a daycare I wanted. However, I haven't really seen too many popular daycares to even get some encouragement as to starting my own." Kaz laid everything out to her, giving the hidden hope of getting some answers as to whether or not to go through with his dreams. He could always find people passing by and give them hope to his service (this, of course, might be NPCs). "However, maybe I'll just have one to train and admire." A second option, one Kaz didn't really want to put into use--the guy rather have a plan or a task planned out rather then playing by ear. Kaz's eyes seemed soft at the moment, while his hand went over the Cyndaquil's head and back, gently massaging it, in a way. He knew the break had to end soon, and they'd pick up moving again. In My Little White Room Again
|
Millenia Town [Wandering Around] Charlotte’s dark green eyes glittered as specs of sunlight seeped through the mass of leaves that shaded the small, tranquil area overhead as a gentle breeze passed its way through. She smiled slightly as she listened to what you had to say, averting her eyes from yours, looking down to her little Linoone that rested in her lap. The thought of you wanting to be a Day Care owner seemed to impress her, but she became discouraged, much like yourself, when you began to explain the doubts that had begun to plague your mind. “That’s obviously a problem,” she said, stroking her Linoone along his slender body, “but everyone who is in pursuit of some kind of dream must have to face troubles along the way –just look at Ringo! In order to pursue his dream he had to get a job as a gardener, and because of that job he was practically mauled by a bunch of misfit rats!” She smiled, laughing to herself a little bit, as she imagined an exaggerated and animated expression of Ringo when he was attacked by rats; she was trying to make it into more of a cartoon in her head rather than realize how bloody and brutal it really was – almost like a coping method. Looking around, she sighed, and began to pat her Linoone on the head to wake him up. The little one stirred, at first not wanting to wiggle out of Charlotte’s lap, but eventually he slid down onto the grass so that she could stand. The young woman brushed off her pants as she stood and took a gander of the area around her, watching everyone around her as they too began to stir from their relaxing sleep. Turning back to look at you from over your shoulder, Charlotte smiled, then spoke: “I think everyone’s had enough time for resting; how about we get going? We need to try and stay ahead of that mob and get out of these damned woods before they find us.” Linoone barked and jumped onto the fallen log besides you, looking around, before jumping off of it and landing onto Charlotte’s shoulders. The little weasel like creature wrapped his body around her neck, so that his front end was cuddled against her face and his bottom half was draped over her shoulder. He yawned a little and began to paw at his face with his little paws, trying to wake himself up all the way, while you stood and began to return all of your team to their respective Pokeballs. Together then the two of you packed up your belongings and began to make your way out off the little tranquil area, when Charlotte turned around to wave goodbye to all of the wild Pokemon. She stopped in her tracks though, shocked, for the two Pokemon that had been seen lounging around in the area. She looked around, confused, when a slight hum filled the air. Looking up you could see five little creatures land on different branches on the tree that draped over the small pond, all of them looking curious and happy, as they studied the two of you. The first Combee, the leader of the group, lifted up off the branch and spun around jeering and the others followed suit. The leader narrowed his eyes, a smug look on his face, when Charlotte managed to put the pieces together: “Scouts! Shit shit we need to get rid of them, quick!” And with that Linoone bounded off of her shoulders and down onto the ground, growling at the little bugs as they danced around in the sky. Charlotte turned to you, her face looking serious. “They are scouts for that mob; we have to get rid of them quick before they get back and report out location!” You didn’t have long before these little bugs would flee and tell their queen where you were hiding. Best to finish them off quick, don’t you think?

Derping... All Day, Every Day!

The boy's eyes found a more gentle touch, one that exceeded anything he has ever felt. Even though some of what Charlotte said hit home, like her sudden remarks about rats and being mauled. It didn't make him feel any better. He tried, at times, to push a smile through his unsettlingly, bad feelings. Nidoking budged him softly with an arm, the brute had a smile, though it could be easily mistaken for having been full on whatever food he could get. The others started to come in, almost sensing Kaz's upset feeling. It was all short lived as Charlotte alerted him to some unwanted guests. Combee, said the Poketech as Kaz ran the data through. He had never seen one of these, and if he had he didn't remember. Their were five, an astounding amount of opponents. The Poketech seemed to not warn him of any more danger and the team looked strong enough to take some of these pests out. It was time to hatch a plan. For all the trouble he had been put through with the Ninjasks, the bugs were in for it as Kaz wanted to take out his feelings of anger of himself on the bees. Besides, Charlotte's Linoone seemed a little off. Probably from still having gone before with the entire chase. "Maybe I should take care of them. According to the Poketech, my pokemon have some good advantage." He glanced over his shoulder after getting up and looking alert with his team facing the enemy. They all seemed so intent on fighting--even the Trubbish who Kaz returned to his pokeball so the poison young one couldn't get hurt. Five against five was good enough. It was time to start fighting back. "Here we go," He announced, having the team get into a readied position. "Nidoking can use two Thunderbolts on the first Male combee; with his ability I think there should be some extra power packed in there." Nidoking stepped to the side, knowing his attack would need space. "Flaaffy can do the same. With that nifty STAB thing in there, you should be able to do some good damage. Attack the first female." The sheep moved over to Nidoking, knowing they would be using the same move and neither would get hurt from one another. "Skarmory, after they are done also wait for the two younger ones. Then attack with two Steel Wings on whichever Poliwag attacks. Speaking of which," Kaz glanced at Poliwag who had a nifty move, "Use Ice Beam twice, try to freeze the middle Combee. Skarmory can follow through with two Steel Wings. And Cynadaquil, use two Flame Wheels on the second female." There seemed to be something else wanting to come out. "Oh, and if any of the targets are to faint before the two turns, use the next attack on the next available target. Help each other out." Let's see how this goes. Kaz estimated the damage on what his other battles seemed to be. The Poketech told him that Combee was a hybrid of the bug and flying type, which had been weak against electric, fire, and ice. Three of four elements he would be using in this round. If he could get at least two or three out in this single round, there was no way any of them would get away. Focus, guys, focus hard and make your attacks stick! Kaz thought, nibbling on his thumb nervously. |

In My Little White Room Again

Millenia Town [Wandering Around] Charlotte turned around to face you, a look of worry on her face. “A-Are you sure? she asked in a concerned manner, “I can handle them too.” The look on your face though told her that she needn’t worry; you felt confident enough that you would have everything under control. Charlotte merely nodded her head and backed away, pulling out a Pokeball which she used to return her Linoone with –trying to give him as much extra rest as he could get before the platoon of bees would arrive. She looked around though, trying to keep a lookout just to make sure that none of the bees strayed too far away from the battle field, as well as making sure that the Queen and her minions were still quite a ways off. She caught your eye a second before the battle got started, which she smiled and nodded to you, wishing you luck with your fight. The little Combee, as you could now see, looked agitated and anxious; they were ready to fight; they were ready to cause damage. It was odd seeing these cute little creatures so infuriated, for the scrambled around wildly in the air as if someone had just thrown a rock at a hornets’ nest. Their eyes were all red with anger, narrow with rage, as they swarmed around one another in the moments before the battle started. Nidoking started everything off though; he set the hoard of angry bees into motion by firing off his Thunderbolt attack. His attack struck the first male bee dead on, electrifying his body, but before Nidoking could throw another attack at them the little one retaliated by sending a sweet aroma through the area. The use of his Sweet Scent seemed to effect the minds of everyone on your team; they all seemed quite pleased as they began to sniff at the air around them. Even Nidoking seemed to be effected, but it wasn’t all bad, because he managed to turn himself around and fire yet another Thunderbolt at the same bee –causing it to fall to the ground. Flaaffy, who was the other electrical genius on the team, was one of the first to become distracted by the Sweet Scent. While her mind was on other things one of the little Combee veered past her and bit into her shoulder with a Bug Bite before flying off and back into the swarm, allowing another soldier to swoop down and bite into Nidoking with his own Bug Bite attack. Mareep yelped at the pain and narrowed her eyes, wanting to get revenge on her attacker, but she couldn’t tell them apart any more now that they were in the swarm –so she returned to your prior instructions. She blasted two Thunderbolts off towards the first female Combee she saw, causing it to fall to the ground with a thud. Poliwag was fumbling around, trying to locate his opponent, when finally he seemed to lock onto the little bee. With a grunt he fired off his first Ice Beam attack, which caused some good damage, but when the second Ice Beam came around the little one dodged with ease. With a devilish look in his face, the Combee threw back two Gust attacks which caused your little Poliwag to topple over onto his back. The little bee laughed at the site but then, out of the corner of his eye, he saw Skarmory on the approach. The first Steel Wing slammed into the little bee with a thud, causing him to nearly fall out of the air, but he managed to catch himself in the end. As Skarmory turned around to go back with another attack the little bee flew up and into one of the trees that surrounded you, concealing himself from Skarmory who was too big to fit up between the branches. The little one laughed, pleased to see Skarmory struggling. Last up there was Cyndaquil, who was attacking one of the female Combee with her Flame Wheel attacks. The attack did fine damage, as well as the second one, but when little Cyndaquil began to retreat the Combee fired back with two Gust attacks of her own. The attacks threw little Cyndaquil back and into a tree, causing a good amount of pain, as the bee quickly tried to throw in a third attack on the vulnerable creature. Out of nowhere then came Skarmory, slashing into the attacking Combee’s side with a Steel Wing attack and threw it down. He may have not gotten to attack his real opponent, but at least he was able to somewhat protect little Cyndaquil from one of these pesky bees.

Derping... All Day, Every Day!

Hearing the woman's words made the boy feel as if she didn't trust him, or that she underestimated his pokemon. That should never happen; Nidoking and Flaaffy were the stronger of the bunch and they would see to it that the team never got hurt. In the round that just passed, it seemed that Skarmory was the same way. Kaz cautiously walked towards Skarmory, not to startle it as he stated petting the steel bird; whether or not he could feel it, Kaz made an effort to show affection for the bird's deed of helping out Cyndaquil. He returned to where he had been standing because the battle wasn't over. Through one round, three Combee seemed to fall. The combined effort seemed to take down mostly the female looking bees. That set things up perfectly for Nidoking and his ability Rivalry. The stronger pokemon might be able to finish everything off, so Kaz beckoned for Poliwag and Cyndaquil to come back towards him--a much safer spot than where they were now. The boy felt no worry in this, and he looked back at Charlotte with a smile. It was show that he wasn't afraid of the bees and knew he could win all along. It wasn't as much as being cocky, thinking he was the best and couldn't be defeated but more or less very confident in the type of his pokemon. The Poketech had told him all he needed to know; he had a few moves that proved super effective against the bees and he'd use those to tear them apart. "Last round guys! Let's make it that." Kaz cheered on, boosting the feel in his pokemon. Only Nidoking, Flaaffy, and Skarmory were up on the front lines, and it seemed like it was the only ones needed. The first two had Thunderbolt, a move that could cripple the bees right now, while Skarmory had a move to finish them off. "Nidoking and Flaaffy, use Thunderbolt. After that, Skarmory can move in with a Steel Wing to each. If they are still moving, Thunderbolt them again!" Kaz kept his smile, confident in finishing it this round. Poliwag and Cyndaquil looked a little nervous but Kaz had been through enough to know he was doing good. Nidoking and Flaaffy use x1 Thunderbolt on separate Combee! Skarmory uses Steel Wing on both of them; if not fainted. Nidoking and Flaaffy use a second Thunderbolt if the Combee are yet to be fainted. |

In My Little White Room Again

Millenia Town [Wandering Around] The remaining little bees scattered around like a group of angry hornets, but that was where the similarities end. Unlike their monstrous counterparts, these little bees were hardly a threat to your safety –don’t you think? They weren’t full blown warriors dedicated to keeping the happiness of their queen alive, no, these little ones were merely babies that fooled around and looked for a bunch of bad guys at the request of her highness herself. These little babies could hardly battle it seemed, at least to you, and they were weak against the type advantages that many of your team held against them. But as they flew around like wild hooligans, trying to attack and dodge almost at the same time, your teams attacks rained on them like a malfunctioning, and falling, ice cream truck from the sky. They threw attacks back at you; they wouldn’t go down without a fight. Your team had small cuts and bruises from their attacks, but in the end it was nothing major, especially that when they threw their own attacks back it caused many of them to fall flat onto the ground. The chaos continued for a while and at times you were unsure of who was dealing the damage and who was getting hit; it was a mess. But as the dust settled down and the noise around you quieted you could finally see the results from the battle. At the feet of your team lay the five Combee, all of them unconscious, and none of them able to run back to their queen and strengthen the platoon any more. In the end you would be thankful that you had finished them off quickly, because this just made the hell you were about to go through a little easier. Now don’t get me wrong, for you’re about to step off of land and wade into the fiery waters of hell itself, and you would be incredibly lucky if you managed to escape it without being burned. Outcomes of the Battle Charlotte ran up to you and grabbed a hold of your arm, trying to drag you off and away from the fallen little bees as her Linoone circled around her feet. The weasel perked his ears up as she tried to pull you away from the scene of the fallen, which was when he began to hiss and growl at the cluster of trees that lay directly behind the fallen Combee. Bursting through the trees immerged six beedrill, all of them ready to fight, and their queen who perched herself up between two branches as she began to watch a fight unfold. You would have to get rid of the others before you could get to her.
(( I'm sorry this ref is so bad. My mind is just elsewhere for some reason. I promise the next one will be good!)) |

Derping... All Day, Every Day!

Things seemed to be going good—no, great—for the boy and his team. Not only had they finished off the Combee, but Kaz got his first pokemon in what seemed to be the twenties. That is, at least, what the Poketech read. On yet another note, his little Cyndaquil had reached a level of power to allow him a new form, an evolution that turned him from a once cute little thing to a cute, slightly larger thing. With the flames turned off, Kaz hugged the little guy. He was smiling and just so happy they were making it through things, but most important of all was Quilava's new strength. A thought of the next evolution flashed in his head, increasing his anxiousness. As Charlotte approached him with a worried look, the mood in the air quickly changed. From what was once Combee now turned out to be Beedrill. Those who trailed the Combee and seemed to have found them. With their Queen revealing herself behind them, the boy moved the girl behind him. This was going to be harder then he thought, and as the Poketech beeped with information, there had been no element Nidoking had in his variety of moves. As the strongest, a level gap of epic moves weren't going to help, so fighting those with the same gender seemed to be the best with the Rivalry ability. "Charlotte, go back to the Pokemon Center as fast and safely as you can." A bold move, one that when the last word left his mouth made him cringe. Kaz had a strange phobia of bees, and overcoming the battle with Combee helped little when seeing ones like Beedrill. He had to move the girl away, making sure she could get away with the utmost safe path. Agreeing with him, Nidoking stepped in front, alongside Kaz to the right. Flaaffy was next, taking the left. Skarmory took to the sky, taking the air. Quilava stepped by Nidoking, as Poliwag was near Flaaffy. The wall built with confidence, courage, and friendship had the perfect look to it. "Let's do this team," Kaz said, with one of the hardest faces he's ever had. "Poliwag, they hate Psychic. Use Hypnosis on the male Beedrill, but if you can't tell them apart, just use it as many times as you can on three different ones." The tadpole nodded, allowing Kaz to move on. "Quilava, you have the strength here. Show them what you got with using three Flame Wheels on one of the Beedrill that Poliwag (hopefully) puts to sleep." The top three strongest were next, "Quick! Skarmory use Swords Dance and Peck, twice, on another (hopefully) sleeping one; Flaaffy use Thunderbolt on another. Nidoking use Thunderbolt twice on only a Male Beedrill! GO TEAM!" Nidoking — Thunderbolt x2 on BeedrillFlaaffy — Thunderbolt x2 on Beedrill (Any; preferably sleeping) Quilava — Flame Wheel x3 (if can, otherwise x3) on Beedrill (a target of Poliwags) Skarmory — Swords Dance x1, Peck x2 on Beedrill (a target of Poliwags) Poliwag — Hypnosis on 3 Beedrill, preferably the male; due to x2 to psychic [] Telling Charlotte to go back to Pokemon Center alone! |
