In My Little White Room Again
|
Millenia Town [Outside Pokemon Center] Chaos swirled all around you and your team, even now, after most of your foes had fallen to the ground, unconscious and unable to save themselves from whatever disaster may have stuck their way next. You were winning this battle, which was without a doubt, and now it even seems as if you had taken a good chunk of your mind off of the battle so that you may tutor with your Pokemon. Now, I’ll let you know ahead of time that I’m rushing, because this is a lot to write and I don’t want to really put a whole ton of effort into it, since it seems quite chaotic. So, my descriptions of your Pokemon and their move tutoring processes will be small, as the battle rages on in front of you, quickly coming closer and closer to the end. The electricity that surged from your teammates was sure on your side, for all of them fired off their massive electrical based attacks towards the bird, even the small Poliwag who tried his own with and ice attack. The attacks seared against the sky as the bird flew about, dodging a few and getting a few mighty strikes in before he would fall, luckily for you all of them were aimed at the tank of your team and not the itty bitty tyke who hid behind his legs. And so, as the lightning cracked against the air, they eventually came into contact with the birds metallic skin, causing his body to pulsate with the electrical current that would cause his downfall. Within moments, he fell, down from the sky above and down into the wet ground which he had previously tried to defend. You wanted him as a friend, you wanted him to be on your side, you wanted yet another badass on your team; so you threw the Pokeball. The mechanism fell upon the bird with a whack, sucking him up instantly, as it fell to the ground and began to shake until the lovely little bing! –signifying a successful capture! With that now out of the way, you called your Poliwag over so that you could give Velix some tutoring instructions real quick before I spawned two NPC’s over the hill, rushing towards you with a sense of danger and worry in their eyes. Grinning, for he was pleased with the battle, and was more than happy to be the test subject once again. Velix listened to your instructions carefully, nodding after each sentence, saying that she understood each and every bit of information that you presented to her, when she finally turned from you and got down to business. Looking over to Poliwag, she nodded, showing that she was ready, when he nodded in response. She then allowed her psychic energy to consume her body, engulfing her mind, as she felt chaotic thoughts begin to consume her. She managed to try and take out the thoughts, thinking of things less hectic and evil, as she tried her attempt at Poliwag. The attack still managed to throw him in the air, causing quite a good bit of damage to the poor little guy, but she had managed to pull back quite a lot on the power she needed to use. The attack was still invisible to the naked eye though; there wasn’t any beam or anything of that sort in sight. Confuse Ray learning curve__30% Gastly, on the other hand, would be learning a move that would cause quite a good bit of damage to his enemies if he managed to master it (which I bet he will :P). So, you instructed him to form a ball composed of his ghostly typed energy out before him to get the feeling of what the move needed to be in the shape of, and then you told him that he needed to start working on pressing in dark typed energy into the ball rather than ghost type. You gave him an example of dark thoughts: pranks, murder, torture, etc. But in the end, it seemed as if the fact that he didn’t have a base move for a dark typed attack would be the hardest part of learning this move. This was because, after you gave your instructions and all, he formed the ball of ghost energy and began to try and force the darkness into it. Small plumes of black spurted inside of the orb, though it faded away quickly, like blood dripping into water. Like any creature, he knew what dark thoughts were, but harnessing that power and keeping it I supply would be much harder; he needed to get a good firm hold on that inner darkness he had, perhaps making him feel the adrenaline of doing something horrible could help him along? Dark Pulse learning curve__10% But other than that, after you had finished with the battle and had finished with your tutoring session for this time around, you could see two figures running down from the Pokemon center towards you. One appeared to be a nurse, the other a police officer of some sort, and both of whom approached you. The officer said that the Skarmory you had caught had been a menace for quite some time now, and thanked you for your services with a nice wad of cash. The nurse beckoned you to follow her as she scooped up some of the injured birds, putting them on a cart that she had brought down to take them back up to the center. Nodding, the police man went to help her, and said to you before leaving with the nice young woman to be careful: for he still thought the Skarmory may be hostile towards you even after you had caught it.. Outcomes of the Battle!

Derping... All Day, Every Day!
|
Kazuki rejoiced. The battle with Skarmory went well, having him defeated in the previous round. It was all too good, and Kazuki felt like continuing onward to find new friends. His next stop would be going to the Pokemon Center. Healing his friends, and maybe tutoring some more before the next quest he'd under go. Though, he recalled Velix and Gasly; along with Nidoking, Mareep, and Poliwag. Skarmory was caught, so he had been put in a pokeball. He wasn't far at all from the Pokemon Center; Kaz was basically in it's back yard. Walking back in, he figured it wasn't time to sleep. With all of the excitement, there was no way! He'll just to head in earlier the next night. Heading over to the PC, Kazuki rubbed his eyes. It was bright in the building, compared to the night outside. The moon and the ceiling lights weren't the same, so his eyes lightly burned through with a sensation he hated. Ignoring what he could of the lights, the boy started pressing buttons. He exchanged Velix with Cyndaquil. The psychic was strong, and he had helped make it that way with tons of work in the tutoring field. However, it was very unfortunate that Kazuki had made a list of pokemon for a team he'd want, and sadly, she just wasn't in it. Cyndaquil, however, was. For a while, it was the same list, but Kaz always kept it open for change. Take Skarmory for example. He isn't in the dream team, but can be useful around the daycare. Once he was done, he went to the counter where the ever-sleeping Nurse was. She seemed to always be there, but maybe there was a back up. Glancing at the clock, it was considerably late. Kaz couldn't care; his pokemon needed the touch up. After she was done, he immediately went outside. There was some much needed help. Poliwag, Gastly, and Cyndaquil were behind Nidoking and Flaaffy. Skarmory was just saved, being a level under Flaaffy. "Come on out everyone!" Kaz tossed six pokeballs. Nidoking came out with a roar; Flaaffy came out with a girly grunt; Cyndaquil came out blowing fire from his back; Poliwag shook about; Gastly glanced around before giggling for no reason; Skarmory stretched it's wings and slightly hovered to feel it's freedom. "Hi everyone. We have two new friends. Skarmory, our flying buddy. Cyndaquil, the fire pokemon. Let's not treat them bad." Kaz decided to divide his team. Those that would battle, and those that would tutor. Getting these quick lessons in would be fine, as long as they didn't run into too much trouble. On the battle said was Poliwag, Gastly, and Cyndaquil. On the tutoring side was Nidoking, Flaaffy, and Skarmory. Where to start was the main concern. "We need to find a trainer. Don't go far, but scout someone. Poliwag, Gastly, and Cyndaquil. Go." Kaz had faith, as long as they listened and stayed close by. Trainers who liked them would surely come to the occasion, and find that this protagonist wanted a battle to raise their levels. On another note, he looked Nidoking and companion up and down. Here he goes with more tutoring before maybe going after.... Bulbasaur; that was it. Kaz decided to go for a Bulbasaur, and soon. He didn't know where to start but he'd get the chance. Nidoking, you'll be learning Megahorn. What a badass move this'll be, and very strong. In fact, it'll be your strongest move yet. Though, with your selection, you're already like a tank. Look at this picture! This awesome pokemon is using Megahorn. What you'll need to do is charge a lot of energy into your horn. You should know how with Horn Attack. Then, rush towards a target. I want you to first build up a lot of tension and energy. Even focus. Meditation would be good for building energy and maybe the focus, but just trying to build it up naturally would be great. After you do, try focusing on that energy and put it into your horn. Like I said, it'll be like Horn Attack, so you know the form of the move. Rush to the tree over there and try to break it down with your horn!" "Jolt, you evolved! You look good." Kaz smiled, allowing his praise and compliment to sink in. A good relation with pokemon is the way to go. "For you, well, you have arms that you can use to punch now. I want to teach you that move... Thunder Punch. You know some strong moves, and can charge up so good. Let's see what we can do for this punch. This picture shows an Infernape laying down a mean punch with an electric charge. I want you to think of the power you need for Thunderbolt, and move it into your fist. I want you to charge it up good while Nidoking is using Mega Horn. After he goes, punch the same tree." "Skarmory, I need a nickname for you. You were trying to be a tough one to take down, but we got you. Now, I'll help you have a nice home and some good moves. You'll need to help me out with things too." Skarmory failed to change his expression, clearly upset at the second comment, the one about catching him. "You'll be learning Steel Wing. You have that Steel type energy in you, so I need you to use it, and expose it. Focus it to your wings. It may make them heavy, but you're strong. Fly over to a different try then Nidoking, and try using the attack. Of course, we'll need to work for it, but try." |

Life is not a fairytale and there are no happy endings.

:: Millenia town After making changes between your party pokemon and your PC, you needed to get your pokemon all healed up. Upon seeing nurse Joy sleeping, it was Chansey who came and took care of your pokemon, returning when all were healed sufficiently. It didn't take too long, considering it was a pokemon running the place. Once you had made it back outside, you felt the need to introduce your two new additions to the rest of your team, so with that, you released all six. Your pokemon seemingly all had completely different personalities as they all emerged a different way. Infact, the personalities almost reminded me of my pokemon, almost. You had decided to do two things, involving all of your pokemon. Batteling and tutoring, wow, haven't you done enough tutors? Nevermind, you seperated them into two teams. The first team, consisting of your Poliwag, Cyndaquil and Gastly. Ordering them to find a trainer seemed more of a job for you, being their trainer. Yet, they all began to wander within a close range, looking up at people walking by, but no-one really seemed to take notice as of yet. On the tutor side was your Nidoking, Skarmory and Flaafy. Up first, Nidoking, your trusty, reliable starter pokemon. You were going to try and teach it Megahorn. A very, very powerful move. Infact, I couldn't think of much reason why anyone would want a bug type pokemon, nor could I think of strong bug type moves. Megahorn really, was the only one, other than signal beam that really stood out to me. This, was going to be difficult. Your Nidoking began to focus, concentrating all of the energy it could muster into the horn on its head. It's horn slowly began to glow and you could see the energy beggining to form around it, it was truely a magnificent sight. The horn didn't seem to increase in size however, did that matter? It then, after a little while took charge at the tree you had instructed it to attack. With its beasty legs running, it pounded the floor before crashing into a somewhat small tree that you could hear crack. Right now, this move was more like a strong horn attack, and your Nidoking took a bit of time pulling its horn from out of the tree's trunk, comical. It was going to take a LOT of practice for this move, it was, after all; extreemley powerful. Megahorn learning curve~ 15%Whilst Nidoking was trying his attack, Flaaffy was charging up electrical energy as you had ordered. It's fur was tingling with sparks and you could see the deep concentration coming from within. Then, Jolt took charge at the tree, swinging its arm back and throwing it forward as it began to be surrounded by alot of electrical static. The punch hit the tree, but very weakly. In my opinion, the electrical energy was there, easy, but the power of the actuall punch itself was not enough. Still, this was a very good start to learning said move. Thunderpunch learning curve~ 70%Your new Skarmory was going to attempt Steel wing. And why not? A huge bird, made of steel, shouldn't be too hard, should it? Surely not. The bird flew up and looked for a different tree. With one locked it its sights it spread one wing wide and concentrated on hardening it even more so into the steel energy the bird was litterally made of. With that done, and it was done with easy by the way, the bird swooped down towards the tree. Its wing dipped slightly as it came in, possibley from what you predicted, failure to hold the weight and power, but the wing still hit the tree trunk, causing a nice slice through the bark. All that is really needed here is a tad bit of practice on coping with wings that are that dense and powerful. Steel wing learning curve~ 75%"Hey! Nice pokeon here." A boys voice sounded. Turning around you seen quite a young boy, looking around at the three pokemon you had sent off in search of a battle. "Care to try them out against my trio?" He asked. Below him, was a Houndour. On each shoulder he had a pokemon too. A Pikachu and an Aipom. Could be valuable experience here, my friend. Potential enemies Level 12 Level 10 Level 10(I hope to God I have no screwed up here. ;¬¬ ) |

Kazuki tried to individually analyze each of his pokemon. Nidoking had a tiny start, but nothing to what Flaaffy and Skarmory had. In a way, that was fine. In another way, it made Kazuki upset. But Mega Horn is a very powerful move; the poketech reads it as what some may consider an A rank move. It is only right for it to take a while. Besides, Kazuki had the time, because he had found a trainer. "Yeah, how about a one on one?" Kazuki had Swirl, Gastly, and Cyndaquil stand by him. He'd have to wait to see who the trainer made step forward. He had already tried thinking in his mind of Poliwag fighting Houndour, and Pikachu being taken out by Cynadquil... But when it came to Aipom, Kaz found Gastly to not work so well. In a way, he wished he finished Dark Pulse. Moving on, and after Kaz quickly explained to the trainer about tutoring the other three, Kaz was going to give them the next round of instructions. Flaaffy and Skarmory seemed to have their moves put well on the table, so to speak. So they might need to learn an additional move. Flaaffy had a very difficult tutor a head of her if that happened. Skarmory, on the other hand, wasn't a big factor to fight with as Kazuki wanted him for more of the daycare or farm needs. "King, you need to focus all of that energy and more. You need to control the energy and have it appear to grow your horn, as well as make that growth solid enough for an even harder hit. Try making the horn bigger, and striking the tree this time. If you can make it two or three times bigger then what it is, we'll be in good shape." "Flaaffy, you did great. I am going to hold up both hands, and I want you to practice punching them. Don't use the attempt of Thunderpunch. Instead, just spar with me a little before trying it. After you think you got a stronger form of a punch down, go to the tree again and really give it a Thunder Punch." "Skarmory, for being new to the team, and learning your first new move, you did very well. We need to get you into a little bit of shape, though. For this move, that is. I want you to do the attempt again, minus hitting the tree. Instead, I want you to lower you wings, and pick them up. Repeat. Do it while focusing the energy that makes the wings heavier. As you train like that, your body will accept it over time. When you feel ready, try Steel Wing on the tree trunk once more." |

The kid smiled at you, and the two pokemon upon his shoulder looked at you cutely. "Ok, deal, how about you take on my Houndour?" He said as his dark puppy stepped forward. It looked quite confident, and definately didn't look asif it was a pushover. The Houndour scratched at the ground slightly, and glared at your three pokemon around it, waiting for whoever you chose to attack. Back with tutoring, and you were still continuuing to try and teach Megahorn to your Nidoking. You searched your poketech to find that this move was an A rank move. Possibley why Nidoking wasn't getting it anywhere near right. That, and the fact that naturally your pokemon learnt this move when it was at a MUCH higher level. The strength that came with experience was what helped Nidoking learn Megahorn, so without that it was going to take alot of practice, you see. Still, your giant poison pokemon began to try again. Once again focusing on putting all its energy again into its horn. This time, the horn did begin to grow slightly. Once Nidoking thought it was ready, it again charged at the tree and took a huge chunk out of the trunk. The strength was getting there, slowly. Remember though, this is a bug type move too, something that had to be infused into his horn.. Megahorn learning curve~ 40%You instructed Flaaffy to train its punches on you, like a sparring partner. You held your hands out for the sheep to practice hitting, without the electrical energy. Left, right, left, right it began to punch you, still holding back sligthtly. It didn't want to hurt it's trainer. Still, after a few minutes she turned away from you and walked back over to the tree. For a moment, she stood, taking in the electrical energy, before then she swung it back and struck the tree with a thunderpunch. It was almost perfect, almost!. I think focusing more of physical attacking power could help this come along, one final push! Thunderpunch learning curve~ 90%Your tactic for Skarmory was similar, and I liked it. Very clever. Skarmory focused that same energy to its wings, and once its wings were hardened and pure steel energy it began to raise them high, and lower, before raising them higher again and repeating. It could feel the burn, but that was the burn of progress! After a few minutes, again. The steel winged bird took off to the air, and tried the same tactic again. Using steel wing on the tree trunk, and cutting half way through the trunk! Steel wing learning curve~ 100% Learnt!

A smile crept across our protagonist's face. He had never really left Millenia Town in all his journey as a Trainer, yet he never really found a lot of nice trainers. This one seemed to be nice, fair, and respectful. Things looked up for Kazuki, who sent forth the obvious choice of Poliwag. "Alright. Poliwag, I ant you to start off using three Bubblebeams!" A simple three move combo could be devastating if it hit well. Time for Nidoking, who had seemed to move up in his progression track of Mega Horn. Something was missing, but the power was getting there. "Nidoking, keep working on the power, and as you do, we need to instill Bug energy with you. Focus your power on what it would be like to be a bug. Imagine a Beedrill, or Pineco, or Butterfree. Those bug types know Poison Sting most of the time." Moving bug energy into a poison beast like Nidoking? That is going to be hard work. "Flaaffy, you're good. One more task, and this is going to be easy. Use Focus on your Attack power, and really try to feel that boost. Then, Thunderpunch the tree. You have this, I know you do!" Kaz cheered! "Skarmory, you did great. Time to learn Swords Dance!" Kaz had tutored his Velix this, so he had known how to do it. In steps, of course. "You have sharp, steel talons. Start spinning in place, and really work on strengthening your body and mind from the spin to dismiss the dizziness. By spinning, you seem to sharpening your legs, and maybe the wind can scrap against your wings to make them feel sharper!" |

:: Millenia town ( Nidoking once again, did exactly what it has been doing. The horn was visabley getting large, and the energy could be seen absorbing into it as it glowed a bright white. This time, it was trying to emit bug energy into it. Which it had no base to go off of, but it had to start somewhere.. It rampaged across and this time, completely took the tree out of the ground as it barged through with its powerfull horn. Now, this was getting better! Megahorn learning curve~ 70%Flaaffy did as instructed. Focusing on its attacking force, with that, all it had to do was what it had been doing time and time again over the course of this training period. It picked a new tree however, as your Nidoking decided to destroy things. It swung its arm back, wrapped it up in its electrical powers and blasted the tree. Thunderpunch, thou art learn'eth! Thunderpunch learning curve~ 100% learnt. You were teaching Skarmory another move? Wow, you really were Sword dance learning curve~ 70%You had decided to battle with your Poliwag, obvious choice. Dishing out a triple attack straight off, with three of the same attacks! Houndour was quicker, and sent a leer at your Poliwag, lowering it's defence. However, that left the puppy open for the first bubblebeam, and unfortunately for it, the second. Some serious damage was done.. The third bubblebeam was fired, however the kids Houndour was ordered to counter it with an ember which ended up canceling out both attacks.

Nidoking and Kazuki stood on leveled ground. Nidoking had potential to incline, but Kazuki was leveled. He had no more ideas to go off of. Of course, he had to tell Nidoking to keep trying, as it's only hope. "Keep imagining, and put more power in it. You have this!" Flaaffy had finally finished her training, and it was time to get prepared for the next. Thunderpunch was out of the way, but Kazuki only had about two more moves in mind. Quickly scanning through his Poketech, he found Shockwave and Iron Tail to be the only ones left. Though it would be hard, Iron Tail was going to be his greatest challenge thus far! "Alright, Jolt, here we go. Iron Tail. You need to focus a ton of energy into your tail, and I mean a ton. I'm going to take this nice and slow. I want you to focus all of your power into your tail, every single ounce you can manage. Think of Skarmory, and his hard body. Use the energy to make it hard, like steel." "Skarmory, that was great. You're moving really quick with these moves. It is wonderful! Do Swords Dance one more time, and it may be it." Kaz cheered the steel bird on, who had been doing wonderful for adapting to a Trainer's order. Now for the battle. Kazuki nodded to the kid, showing approval. "That was awesome. But let's try again! Poliwag, use Bubblebeam as many times as you can!" |

![]() So, to start off you were teaching your Nidoking Megahorn, the strongest bug type move there was, well kudos for you! Megahorn would prove to be a very interesting and powerful move to use in the near future, which is probably why you were tutoring it, anyways, moving on. You pokemon began powering up like he had previously been doing, only this time he forced a bit more power. He kept imaging himself using the move, boosting up his confidence, and then he was ready. He let out a loud roar of his name, and took off stomping towards a nearby tree. The poison brute smashed his horn into the tree, and ripped it out of the ground! You could tell he had this move down, just one more try and it would be mastered! Megahorn Learning Curve_ 90% ![]() Next up was your newly evolved Flaaffy. Jolt listened to your every word as you explained to her what to do. After you were finished with the explanation, she began. She started focusing all of her energy into her tail, causing it to slowly glow yellow, but then she started thinking about turning that energy hard like steel, causing the yellow to disappear. She could feel her tail getting a bit heavy, but she knew that it wasn’t enough. She began concentrating harder and harder, and she finally felt comfortable with the way her tail felt. Well, it wasn’t steel type, but she had managed to fill her tail with energy. It was a good start for Iron Tail, now what would you do? Iron Tail Learning Curve_ 20% ![]() Last but not least on the tutor list was your newly caught Skarmory! The pokemon had just finished learning Steel Wing, and now you were teaching it Swords Dance, a good move for a Skarmory. The steel bird listed as you spoke, and almost immediately after you were done, it started. The razor sharp steel avian started quickly spinning once more, sharpening its talons, and wings. Congratulations, Skarmory mastered Swords Dance! Swords Dance Learning Curve_ Mastered! Now that the tutoring was over, or well, for this ref anyway, it was time to get to the battle! Your Poliwag was definitely at a type advantage here, but level-wise he was weaker. You ordered him to use Bubblebeam, as many times as he could, which would be two since he used three during the last round. Your cute little blue tadpole quickly unleashed an array of speeding bubbles at his foe, but unfortunately the Houndour was able to dodge the attack.. In return the hellhound pup unleashed a cloud of purple Smog, which quickly surrounded your Poliwag, but luckily he wasn’t poisoned! Poliwag quickly returned the favor, and released yet another jet of bubbles, this time hitting the pup and causing some nice damage. Well this round was over, let’s see what happens during the next one! Kaz Foe |

Kazuki had a feeling about this. The fact that Nidoking was almost there gave him a sinking feeling that he had done all he can think of. Another simple "Try it again!" was all he could think of. In this case, it probably was the best. King had basically learned the move, aside from a few twitches needed. Turning to the giant pokemon, Kaz smiled, and then shortly after frowned. "Sorry, friend. I wish I had more knowledge to tell you, but you've pretty much got it all. Just try it once more, and touch everything up. The length, the power, and the form" Turning to Flaaffy, who had down amazing for a start. As Kazuki had already foreseen, he'd have problems with the next step. Though, Kaz had been wondering how to do it. The progress she made had been good, and he debated whether or not to stop and tutor Shockwave, the only other move left to tutor Flaaffy. It'd be great to get Shockwave and Iron Tail out of the way, as they were both useful. One never missed, and the other with great power. Oh well, it was time to keep going. "Flaaffy, try again. Focus all the energy to your tail, and make it harder and heavier. I want you to focus for several minutes before going to those bigger rocks, and maybe that tree, and giving it a good swipe with your new tail!" Kaz pointed in the distance, where not extremely far away were two or three actual good sized boulders. A tree behind them would also help. Moving to Skarmory, after watching Flaaffy go off, Kaz patted it on it's cold, steel head. "You are going really good. But, I only have about one more move to teach you. Maybe two. If we can knock this one easy, we can move on. It'll be good for battling and helping. This move is called Iron Defense." Kazuki liked the sound of it. He had tutored an attack increasing move, and now a defense. Skarmory could get a boost no matter what. "I need you to focus a lot on your steel type energy, which comes naturally for you. But you have it coming easier to you then an electric type. Help Flaaffy out if you can, but try to use YOUR energy the same way, to harder your entire body, though. Make it even harder; make it like iron!" On to the battle. Kaz walked away from the tutoring to see how Poliwag was doing against this guy. He was surely doing a great job! Poliwag had the Houndour on the brink of defeat, and it was only a matter of time. "This shouldn't take long! Poliwag, use a Bubblebeam. If the canine doesn't faint, use another." This would be it for this match up, and moving on the next. |

Millenia Town![]() After hearing you speak your pokemon gave you a swift nod, he knew that there wasn’t much more to say, and so he would just finish this move tutor once and for all. Your Nidoking began to focus, the horn on his head began to glow a brilliant white, and soon it even grew in length! Reaching the appropriate size, your Nidoking began his charge. He ran as fast as he could, the ground beneath him shaking as he stomped across the earth. His target was none other then another tree, and before he collided into the beautiful piece of nature, he made sure to add as much power to his attack as possible. King ripped through the tree like it was a piece of paper, and ripped it straight out of the ground! With a savage roar of his name, your pokemon tossed the tree to the ground, stepped on it, and roared all Jurassic Park style. You know, at the end of the first one.. Anyways, it seemed as though King had mastered the move, and by the way he was acting, he was more then proud of it! Megahorn Learning Curve_Mastered! ![]() Next up was Flaaffy, you were still trying to tutor Iron Tail, and to be honest, she was doing pretty well. Teaching a pokemon a move that was pretty much the complete opposite of their type was extremely hard to do, but you and Jolt seemed to be doing pretty good so far. You told her to concentrate harder on focusing the energy into her tail, and this time you even wanted her to try and use the attack on some small rocks, or even possibly a nearby small tree. Jolt nodded happily, and began concentrating the energy into her tail. She kept pushing as much energy in her tail as she could, concentrating hard on making her tail as hard as steel. A few minutes passed and Jolt’s tail began to let off a light white glow. It was obvious that she was getting closer to mastering the attack, but she still needed some more energy for her attack. She quickly made her way to the smallest of the rocks you pointed out, and right as she went to hit her tail against the rock, the light faded. Now there was still a bit of energy left in her tail, but a pokemon slamming their tail into a rock would hurt, wouldn’t it? Well, of course it did, and as your pokemon’s tail hit the rock, she let out a small yelp in pain. So not only did she need more energy, but she had to make sure to keep the energy in her tail, and not to let it fade like it had just done.. Iron Tail Learning Curve_ 40% ![]() Skarmory was your last pokemon on the tutor list, and as you explained how the move worked, the steel bird carefully listened. After you were finished with the move explanation, Skarmory let out a metallic sounding squawk. The pokemon didn’t really know how he could help out your electric sheep, and so he would just focus on learning his move for now. He quickly began thinking of the steel energy that flowed through his body. He knew how to summon and focus the energy to one specific spot, due to his previous learning of steel wing, but this move would be a breeze since all he had to do was focus on summoning the energy throughout his entire body. The metal bird began summoning the energy. He focused hard on pulling out the energy all over his body, and I’m not going to lie, he did a damn good job! It didn’t take long, or last long at that, but Skarmory’s body became a bit shinier, and for a moment, it seemed to give off a metallic glow! The bird felt a bit more protected, but he knew that he could do better, however overall he was already almost finished with this tutor! Iron Defense Learning 50% Ooc: I’m really tired, and so this battle ref isn’t going to be that great… sorry Kaz T-T So this battle was getting pretty heated! Poliwag was really kicking some Houndour ass! You quickly gave your little blue tadpole his orders, and he quickly followed out with them. The boy had given Houndour his orders as well, which was to charge at your Poliwag and use a good old-fashioned strike attack. However, as the hellhound was running towards Poliwag, the little critter quickly unleashed a jet of speeding bubbles, which hit Houndour head on! The fire typed pup flew backwards a few yards, after he hit the ground, his trainer realized that he wasn’t able to take the power of the Bubblebeam, and that he had fainted. ”That battle was fun! Now let’s see how you do against my Aipom!” the boy cried, before summoning the little chimp with the huge hand on it’s tail. The little purple colored monkey seemed to dance as it entered the field, I don’t know about you, but I think that this next battle was going to be a bit difficult… But anyways, who would be your next pokemon to use? Remember, you could always stick with Poliwag.. Kaz Foe Congratulations! Poliwag gained 17.3 exp!! Poliwag grew to level 11 and has 2.3 exp remaining! Poliwag would have learned Water Gun, but you’ve already tutored it… Your Profile has been updated! |

Derping... All Day, Every Day!

First up was Nidoking. His tutor had been a complete success! Mega Horn was now in his wide range of moves, but the series of battles hadn’t. Kaz couldn’t bring himself to stop short, after only finishing the Houndour off. Aipom was going to be a little bit more challenging, but not to the pokemon. To himself. He wanted to use Gastly, but its best attacks wouldn’t fair against the monkey. Cynadquil was the only one who could do it. Releasing Cyndaquil, the fire type squeaked and released flames from its back, a natural Cynadquil thing. ”Cynadquil, use that egg move you have—Crush Claw! Three times against the monkey should do some good damage!” Moving on, it was back to Nidoking. Kaz had one final move that he wanted Nidoking to touch base on for now. That being Hidden Power. After Hidden Power, the boy sure had a list of moves, but nothing as important as Hidden Power. If done right, maybe he had more to tutor that would come easier. But he wanted to hold off after this anyway. ”Nidoking, I want you to stand still and focus your entire mind and body. Stay focused through the whole thing. Close your eyes and meditate. You have moves like Sludge Bomb, and Poison Jab, and Thunderbolt, and even the new move Mega Horn. What do these have in common? Yes, they all require a ton of energy being focused. You have the ability to focus an extreme amount of energy. Mega Horn is your strongest move thus far, so I know how strong you can focus. Do so, and focus for as long as it takes to feel orbs floating around you, and I want you to try and feel a warm sensation to turn those orbs red, if you can. If not, try to absorb them in, and force them out.” With that out of the way, Kaz turned. He wanted to let King focus on learning Hidden Power. Ice Beam would come later, and so would two of three elemental punches. Nidoking’s range of moves would never truly die, and soon Kaz will have turned him into a beast. For now, it was back to Flaaffy. The sheep had trouble holding on to the glow, and the strength of the Iron Tail. It had been enough for now, Kaz guessed. He had another move that he wanted to get too. Now, this one wasn’t a necessarily needed, but neither had Iron Tail been. Switching move to move might be hard, but this one stays in the lines of Jolt’s typing. ”Jolt, we’re going to switch things up! Instead of continuing with Iron Tail just this minute, we’re going to tutor Shockwave. If we have enough time after, maybe we can try and get back to Iron Tail. For now, Shockwave; the move is a bolt of electricity that is incredibly fast, but spreads out to hit in order to never miss its target. So, I want you to focus on Thunderbolt. That move is already fast, but this one is a guarantee that it’ll hit, and that is why it’ll be good to have. So, start by focusing Thunderbolt, but tuning the power down just a little, and I want you to make the shot wider, and faster. Try doing it twice and just remember the tweaks needed.” Back to Skarmory. His move was Iron Defense, and he had seemed to get a good start. It looked like such a good start that there really wasn’t much more to the attack, or move. Skarmory seemed to want better, though. Kazuki knew that with this bird, he is going to want to be better, and stronger then what he could’ve been before. Iron Defense, however, was the last move on the boy’s mind. Skarmory would get a rest after this end of the tutor. ”Skarmory, I just need you to do it again. Pull in all the steel type energy you can, and coat yourself. Imagine it raining, and you need to pull a coat over you. You want your defenses to be raised, in order not to gain rust.” Kaz was back to his mind games, and hoped they still worked. Another pokemon had been out on the field. Actually, two. Poliwag and Gastly had been on the sidelines. Kaz took a pokeball and returned Poliwag, giving Swirl his rest that he deserved. Next was Gastly. Although all healed up and ready for this next battle, Kaz had a feeling a certain move would come in handy. ”Gastly, it is back to Dark Pulse training. I want you to think of the darkest thoughts you can.” Kaz rushed. He scanned his Poketech for a means of a description. Finding something, Kaz immediately began to strategize it. ”Gastly, harness those dark thoughts and focus a lot of energy. Remember, this is Dark energy. Release the dark energy in spiraling circles, ones around themselves, but I don’t mean as if you think Hypnosis. Use this picture as a reference!” |

So now you were teaching your Nidoking yet another move. This time, it was hidden power, which truth be told I had very little knowledge on how this move worked out. It was an incredibley unique attack and even harder to master. Your large, purple pokemon began to focus on the energy inside, trying to pinpoint its 'hidden' power. As it focused, its eyes closed and white energy began to warp around the beast. The energy slowly formed into small spheres that surrounded Nidoking. The beast was focused, and the hidden power revealed its type and its power. But, unfortunately Nidoking wasn't able to unleash the power and the energy faded. I guess it was acceptable, Nidoking had just spent a ton of time trying to learn such a powerful move that it was quite tired. Not only that but it was trying to find a hidden power, it was hidden for a reason. Still, all of its experience with different type moves and strong attacks had made its progress quick. Hidden Power: Learning curve~ 80% ( , C Rank ) You had decided to stop learning Iron Tail with Flaaffy, and chosen to go with shockwave first. Flaaffy already knew a powerful electrical move, it was more powerful than shockwave itself, so it was an excelent start. Flaaffy concentrated its electrical energy, and fired it out quick and sharply. The bolt flew and struck a nearby tree quicker than your eye could follow. It tried again, fireing the bolt off in a bigger range. It was a really good start, and infact, only needed a little bit of practice. As you can tell, I'm a fan of practice makes perfect. Shockwave: Learning curve~ 90%Skarmory finally, and its iron defence. Not hard for a pokemon covered in metal, really. The steel bird focused on its defencive energy, and hardened its steel coat easily. That's all you need to know, really. The bird had succesfully covered itself in a coat of metal it was born with. (¬¬) Congratulations! Iron Defence: Learning curve~ 100%Finally, Gastly, and you were going to try and finish Dark pulse. Dark thoughts for a ghost type pokemon, shouldn't be too hard surely? The pulse you wanted it to create was spirals of dark energy. Gastly tried again, concentrating on those dark toughts and trying to execute it into a spiral beam. The energy began to circle the ghost, and as Gastly tried to execute the attack the energy sort of shot out and evaporated at the same time, just sparkling around the Gastly in a failed attempt. Dark Pulse: Learning curve~ 40%It was now time for Cyndaquil vs. Aipom! Aipom got in first with an Astonish, getting in at your pokemon from behind. Then, Cyndaquil moved in for its first Crush Claw, delivering some good damage as it smashed its right paw into the monkey, it didn't let up as its left claw then came in for a second. The monkey squeeled in pain, and retaliated by throwing a sand attack at Cyndaquil. The fire types eyes were effected, and its third attack missed unfortunately as it had no idea where Aipom was as its eyes were only half open.

First thing is first. Kazuki had greeting this round of tutoring and battling to a great, big smile. Nidoking had exceled greatly with Hidden Power, and Flaaffy with Shockwave. Not to mention Skarmory finished his third consecutive move. Gastly also had some increase, which was always good. As it stood, Gastly was up for battle next again whatever the boy had shown prior. He needed to be ready for everything. Kaz took his time with things, waiting him to think of what to say and have the pokemon do. As for Skarmory, Kaz praised him before returning him to a pokeball. Nidoking and Flaaffy had been basically finished, aside from a final round of practice. Instructing them would be easy. ”King. Jolt. Both of you are amazing. You are almost finished with the moves already. Not just that, but Jolt has a move she started. If you feel up to it, we can continue that afterwards.” Kaz paused, waiting some sort of response. King let out a soft roar, pleased to be praised. Jolt made the same noise, well, not a roar. She also nodded to going back to learn Iron Tail. ”To finish up the moves you are learning now, just try them once more. Do the same exact thing.” Kaz turned to Gastly, who had been having a really hard time with this Dark Pulse tutor. He needed something in the way of helping. What if Kazuki had him focus on the power, or use some kind of mind tricks on him. That is it. ”Gastly, I want you to focus on your Special Attack twice. Make it nice and strong for the time being. Then, think of if I abandoned you. I’m not going too, but imagine it. You wouldn’t like it; you’d be alone. Use dark thoughts like that to fuel the pulsing attack. Try it again!” The battle was all that was left. Cyndaquil had sand in its eye, and there was nothing to do for it. He wasn’t a water type. Cyndaquil had to fight on with just that. ”Cynadquil, try to feel the movements of your opponent. Use Crush Claw twice again.” |

So for your Flaafy, Jolt, and your Nidoking, King, a last bit of practice to perfect theese moves all you thought was needed. Well, it pretty much was. You couldn't tell them any more than what you already had, and practice makes perfect, it's not just a saying for little kids, it actually does! I wont bore you again with over the top descriptive paragraphs as all your pokemon were doing was the same thing I had written about last time. King began to attempt to produce the same hidden energy as before, the orbs began to circle the poison type, before the began to rapidly increase in speed, and stop. They stopped, and then flew outwards. A perfectly executed hidden power! Hidden power: Learning curve~ 100% ( , C rank)Jolt on the other hand, only needed to increase the speed of her attack, and she would. She charged up the attack, before striking the bolt out at a lightning fast pace which crashed into the tree she was targeting before you, me, or anyone else could even follow it. Nicely done there. Shockwave: Learning curve~ 100%Gastly was certainly having trouble with this dark pulse. You decided now to let the ghost pokemon focus on its special attack, to increase its power that was creating this energy. You also tried to play abit of a mind trick, telling your pokemon to imagine you leaving it? Dark pulse: Learning curve~ 80%Back to the battle. Cyndaquil had been hit by a sand attack, and was struggling to see properly. Still, you ordered another two crush claws. Your tactic was there for all to see, attack attack attack, and attack some more. Aipom and her trainer however, were a little bit more strategic. It came in again for another astonish attack, striking first. That gave Cyndaquil a chance however, to deliver another crush claw. Aipom pulled back, using a tail whip now to lower your fire rodents defence. Before the monkey then pulled out a scratch. However, again it gave oppurtunity for Cyndaquil to get in its second crush claw. You were certainly out on top, but don't take it for granted!
