In a solid dash Carlos rode to Joukai Tower where the true prize awaited his arrival. He had come to the tournament in seek of a prize fit for a kind such as himself. Oh, but this prize was more important than some silly trophy and worthless $2000 pocket change. The prize for which he searches far FAR more important. For there was a myth to the tower, saying that at the top lied two relics that would grant one absolute power. He could imagine what would come to him with such power. The forest of Nogou would be no more, but in its place buildings cutting down the remains of trees to create toothpicks. And those that were not made to toothpicks would become paper, or other useless objects that he'd end up tossing aside anyway. The terrain that had nothing would be populated by people, maybe he would even be merciful and give Econix their own little patch of grass to live. Then again, he probably wouldn't. And of course, Darkfire would be his police throughout the nation of Alternia! There would be no opposition to his power, for all who dared would be stricken down immediately! Yes, amazing dreams that kept him awake at night with glee. The only thing in the way? Rapidash wasn't moving quickly enough. "Hurry up!" He growled to the horse on which he road, and the unicorn-like pokemon quickly sped up, causing him to wish he'd never told it to speed up. On the bright side? Within a matter of moments he'd reached his destination. "Good," He said and quickly jumped off the horse, recalling it to the ball in which it came before running into the tower with mal-intent in mind. |

Now was the time to ascend the tower. The opening was just feet away from him, calling his name, a call which he would accept. He looked around to see if his enemies had come near and luckily enough for himself they still seemed to be a long ways away... then again, how could he tell considering he'd come about two miles away. Rapidly he went into the towers first floor and upon entry to the ancient tower he noticed a few things. First of all, the floor within appeared to hold items which seemed more modern than the tower itself implied. But easily enough, the stairway to the next floor was nearby and quickly he was running up the stairs to the next floor. On the second floor carlos found what appeared to be a development of futuristic material. On the third, things from the past. This pattern continued for a horribly long period of time, until eventually Carlos ended on the fiftieth floor of the tower. Of course, he was not even half way up the incredibly long tower and there was no hope that he'd have the energy to continue much longer. So on the fifteith floor --a floor adorned in metals, weaponry, and surprisingly enough, food-- he rested for a long period of time. At the window placed on this floor he looked out to see how high he'd gone and found himself quite a way away from ground level below he could see the blur that he assumed was the battle. He quickly looked about the area and found a few things of interest. "Nobody will miss these," He said to himself as he started to grab various items, whether the knew what they were for or not. Those who's purpose he has no idea he woould soon figure out for himself, but for now he practically stuffed anything of interest in his bag. Suddenly a loud roar came from above, and the tower seemed to shake. Carlos looked up, seeing only the roof of the tower floor dropping dust from it. Carlos smiled at this, there seemed to be something of power at the top of the tower, and he wanted it. So immediately began running up the stairs once again. "That power is MINE!" He said to himself aloud as with new determination he ran up the stairs like a mad man. What will come next? Well, it'll be up within a few hours so we'll see. |

Carlos looked at his watch, he'd been climbing for hours now and he finally found himself near the top of the tower. Thank some deity up there, but the strange thing about this tower wasn't that it was so tall but when he looked out of the windows and holes in it he would see various things outside. On one floor he looked out and it was dark as night, in the distance a flame ranged brightly. He smiled at that sight, it seemed like Nogou was finally getting what it deserved a burning death. He laughed for quite some time as he watched the sight and eventually continued scaling up the tower. However, when he reached the second floor there was a completely new image outside the window. You see on the second floor he looked out the window and the sky was covered by a purple haze and it seemed as though morning was just setting in. At first, this didn't seem strange, it was a possible event but then he noticed that there was a huge enormous pasture, and at it's end a forest even larger than of Nogou! But the strange thing was, it looked just like Nogou Village! How could that even happen? On the previous floor he'd seen the village burn to the ground! There was definitely something strange on this tower. However, at this point he didn't care because there were only three more floors in between where he was, and the top floor. The following floor --leaving only two and then the last-- led him to a room filled with Scientific technology and all over the word Scion was written and items with the team insignia were found. So many records, so many incredible items... but how could Scion have arrived up this far? That was the question, but it didn't matter, because when he had power that team as well as Econix would be gone! The next floor was even more of an annoyance to see, for on it were the items and whatever other trash Econix themselves had created. Not only had Scion apparently made it to this part of the tower, but as had Econix, no telling what they could've done and taken prior to his arrival. Those a** h**** would rue the day, they would RUE IT!! On the next floor however he found something truly astounding. You see, on this floor there was red and black all over, charcoal covering nearly every inch, items that he'd never seen before that immediately called out his pokemon and drew them to the items. What was this? Well, it didn't matter because he recalled his pokemon soon enough --each holding a new items which seemed to increase their strengths quite a bit-- and smiled. All over the insignia of Darkfire was printed, and he finally thought he might've been catching on to the power which was held at the top of the tower. Finally he ascended to the top room of the tower, and in it all he found were two glass-covered shelves. On one, a pocket watch that seemed from olden times, considering it was no longer moving. And on the other a similar to the pocket watch however moving at an incredible pace that he couldn't really figure out. They were definitely different than anything he'd found before, or anything he'd imagined the relics to be like, but eventually he gave up trying to figure it out and lifted to glass cases grabbing each relic. !!!!ROAR!!!!!!!!GRAWR!!!!!!!!SCREECH!!!! He turned to see a distortion in the room just beyond the cases which held the relics. A smile came across his face and he watched as from the hole came forth a frightening beast. "YES!!!" He called alone, holding up both relics and commanding the beast to enter the pokeball on his belt. Let's just see how that works out... NEXT TIME |

From the distortion came forth an enormous beast, it's body winding continuously as it filled the majority of the floor. With a diabolical grin Carlos brought forth the two relics and shouted to the beat these words: "YOU ARE NOW MINE TO CONTROL! WITH YOUR POWER UNDER MY BELT I WILL CONTROL THE ISLANDS OF ALTERNIA AND NO ONE CAN STOP ME! NOW, ENTER THIS BALL AND FALL UNDER MY CONTROL!!!" His voice echoed in the large room, even with the beast filling the great majority of the space. The beast again roared loudly and the tower seemed to shake, Carlos flinched briefly before dropping the two relics onto the ground where they slid off on the wooden floor. "WHAT?!" He questioned, noting the beast as it lowered his head toward him, mouth open as it released another great roar. Suddenly a bright light shone through the room and the body of the beast became visible to Carlos. It's head was covered by a bone-like helm, which then branched off to a white almost fin-like scale-pattern. It's skin was a dragonic brown, and it's underbelly a swampy green. It was armed with two wings, however, there was no note that it needed them. On it's back as a trail of jewels leaving to the end of it's tail on the opposite side of the room. :todramth Level ?? Damian once again ordered the beat to listen to him and it roared once more, it's name seemed to be in the background of the roar. Suddenly a loud echo fell through the room, and the voice of this dragon --Todramth-- was heard. HUMAN! Leave this place at once or you will regret ever stepping foot in the tower of Past, Present, and Future. Todramth's words echoed loudly before he roared once more. Again, Carlos cringed at the sound but did not move. You dare not heed my warning? Then regret it you shall! The dragon pokemon opened it's mouth quickly and an orb of light brown began to form. Carlos stood firmly there in the tower and reached to his belt, pulling the first pokeball available to him and throwing it into the air where it erupted and formed one of his pokemon. Level 61"Houndoom, quickly, use Flamethrower!" Carlos ordered but noticed the frozen stance of the dark pokemon as it simply marveled at the grandiose beast before him. "HOUNDOOM!" Carlos shouted once more and the dog seemingly snapped out of it long enough to form a chain of flames which then began whipping at the head of the dragon, Todramth. Fools! He called briefly before releasing the light brown orb in his mouth which quickly smashed into the Houndoom. The orb then surrounded the dog and began to shrink down, causing the dog to Howl in agony before it was all over and done with. Now I get you one last chance to leave before this tower becomes your grave! Edited by Carlos Gouka, Jul 18 2009, 03:56 PM.

!!WARNING!! Enormously huge post and Epic battle beyond this point. Proceed with caution. Previously-- Carlos has awoken the legendary dragon pokemon, Todramth, protector of the present day in Alternia. After having mistakenly assumed that by using the two relics he could control the beasts he was given the option to escape unharmed. Upon ignoring the warning he was attacked by the dragon, but his Houndoom was the one to take the hit as opposed to him. After the attack went through, he was given one last chance to escape with no further harm done to himself or his pokemon. Carlos listened to the words projected to his mind by the dragon and his fists clenched tight and he stood his ground. "Houndoom, Smog and Beat Up. GO!" He ordered before gripping something on his belt tightly. "Corinth, Alphagur" He ordered before throwing two pokeballs up into the air where they erupted into burning red beams of light which soon formed two more pokemon. Level 60 {Corinth} Level 61 {--} 67 {Alphagur}As the two pokemon appeared on the field a wicked sandstorm came forth, brought upon by Corinth's special ability. However, the sandstorm didn't seem to bother Houndoom or Alphagur, due to intensive training as a trio prior to this day no doubt. "Corinth, Stone Edge and Dark Pulse! Alphagur, Lava Plume and Hyper Blast! NOW!!!" Carlos ordered angrily as both pokemon quickly took a powerful stance and prepared themselves for the attacks. However the dragon would not take the attack sitting down, figuratively speaking. Without giving the beasts the time to prepare their attacks, Todramth began reciting what seemed to be an ancient chant. Houndoom quickly released a powerful smog attack from it's mouth which covered the entirety of the floor shrouding all in its darkness, but of course the trio on Carlos' side seemed unaffected by it. Quickly the follow up began as both Houndoom and Corinth leaped into the battle with full force. The tyranitar rammed its body roughly into the dragon's skin while the dog pokemon powerfully struck it's body a total of fourteen times with Beat Up. Magmortar stood back until the two seperated away from the monster and pointed it's arm cannons at it. "Maaa~g!!" It called loudly as an orb of golden and burning red spiralling energy formed in it's right cannon. "MORTAR!" It called as a large, powerful, and well-focused burst of Lava Plume and Hyper Beam was shot toward Todramth. However a large, powerful roar came then as suddenly the smog and sandstorm, as well as the powerful attack sent by Magmortar had been stopped. A purple tunnel of wind appeared around the dragon and stopped all three attacks flat and sent them through odd distortions in the area. You were warned once before! Now there shall be no warnings! The dragon's voice echoed throughout the area as Suddenly a second tunnel of wind appeared, literally lifting all three pokemon into it's vortex along with their trainers. Todramth roared one more time as the Win Tunnel disappeared and sent all who it had collected in it against the walls of the room. "POWER OF THE ANCIENTS! He called quickly as a mass of orbs appeared around him and slammed into the pokemon and human alike, crushing their bodies even more so than they were, bringing them closer to death. While the orb crushed Carlos against the wall he struggled to move, but ultimately reached his belt once again and was able to grab and throw one more pokemon onto the field. "ENIGMA!" He called loudly as he threw the pokeball out onto the field where it erupted like the others had before and formed a pokemon that was truly unexpected. Level 100 {Enigma}With the sudden appearance of the coal duckling pokemon it seemed as though the Dragon laughed. The attack which crushed the four was released and the Magby looked at the dragon Childishly. Suddenly, Alphagur moved over in front of Carlos and placed his canon's out ahead of him. Corinth slammed her tail against the ground and up came a large boulder of pur energy around her, Protect. Suddenly the room became hot, but not just hot, scorching as literally around the little magby the air began to distorts from the heat. Corinth and Houndour were well protected as they each had their own respective defense Mechanisms, and Alphagur was collecting the heat into his Canon's as to protect Carlos from the attack. Todramth however was unaware of the enigmatic power the magby possessed and thus was left unguarded from the heat as it's vision began to blur. What trickery is this! He roared once again and attempted to call forth his wind tunnel once again, unsuccessfully as the dragon's tunnel fell even before it was fully formed. "ENIGMA!" Carlos called from behind Alphagur as the Magby stopped the heat and moved out of the way, giving Alphagur ample opportunity to fire off his Hyper Beam Lava Plume combinations once more, this time successfully striking the dragon. As the room began to deheat, Carlos recalled the Magby to it's pokeball and flinched from the heat which still remained once the pokemon was away. However, it did not matter as he reached to his belt and pulled off a dark red and black pokeball, similar in appearance to a Masterball but with the letters DF as opposed to an M on it's top. With a flick of his wrist the man threw the pokeball at the dragon and as it traveled a smirk came to his lips. It seemed as though he had won, as if he was about to become the strongest trainer in all of Alternia, possibly in all the world. !!!GRAAA~WR!!!! Todramth's head rose up once again as the Dragon released a powerful roar through the space which completely distorted the flow of air even moreso than Magby had. Suddenly the room was still and two distortions in the air appeared as both relics floated. TIME CURRENT! He roared once more as the two relics flew through the air into the two distortions which began to close behind them. |
