Silas was led along like a Mareep as Jessica steered him towards the clothing stores she desired. After she found some things she disappeared into the dressing room. While Silas could only imagine what she'd chosen to put on, he decided to sit and wait it out. He was going to try and buy the outfit for her, and doubted he could actually afford her outfit plus whatever he would want to wear. He wished that Rattata had been able to get some experience, but if wishes were Magikarp then the lake would be full. He also still hadn't gotten any job offers yet, which meant the higher-ups of the Captoris Corp were having issues getting their name out to all the trainers of the world.

He began to let his eyes wander as they fell upon a sunglass rack conveniently placed next to the changing rooms. This piqued his interest, as he always had enjoyed wearing sunglasses when he was a kid. Browsing through them, he disregarded the shutter shades almost immediately, trying to decide whether aviator glasses or the sleeker glasses were cooler. Perhaps he'd ask for Jessica's opinion when she was done trying on clothes. Silas allowed his mind to relax, realizing this was probably the first time since he had got to Alternia where he wasn't battling some villain or saving some person or getting in some other kind of scrap. It was actually kind of refreshing. He turned back to see if Jessica had come out of the room yet, his curiosity growing.

While you were busy browsing the rack of sunglasses, Jessica had finished putting on one of the outfits she had selected. Upon exiting the curtain enclosed dressing room, she looked at where she had left you, and couldn't find you. She began to look around and finally noticed you to the side of the changing rooms looking at sunglasses. Almost perfectly, as if planned by the gods (or Tari), you turned to check if she had come out of the dressing room, and much to your good fortune, she had. She was now about a foot away from you, wearing a rather elegant light blue sundress. The sundress extended further down her legs than her "ninja outfit" had, touching at about her knees. Now, man-to-man, it was unfortunate that it wasn't a "V-cut" one, which generally allowed for a nice cleavage view from just about any angle. However, because I'm incredibly awesome because of the difference in height between the two of you, as you looked down, there was a rather nice cleavage shot. The top of it only just covered her well-endowed bosom. The small, thin... spaghetti straps.. hung over her slender shoulders..

"I think the aviators look the best." said Jessica as she reached over and grabbed a pair of aviators that she felt looked nice and suited you. She opened them, and placed them on you before you could really do anything or even respond to her outfit. Your chance was coming though.

She smiled. "There. Looking good." She winked at you and backed away. Her hands gripped the dress a little, and she began turning from side to side, letting the bottom of it swish back and forth. She turned to look at the mirror that resided beside the dressing rooms. "What do you think? Pretty? I've always really liked dresses.."

Silas smiled as she picked out the pair. The pair she chose seemed to fit perfectly, and they looked pretty good in the mirror. Now he turned his attention towards her. She looked... wonderful. It was hard to believe just a little while ago, Silas had just met her and had been battling her. Now they were all the way in Millenia having a ball. It was just such an odd feeling for someone who had relied only on himself to be spending this much time with somebody. Other than Pinsir, of course. He smiled and walked over, tilting his shades down in what he hoped was a cool maneuver.

"It looks great, Jessica. The dress is almost as pretty as you."

This was Silas' first date since coming to Alternia. He was having a great time, and decided that he was going to pay for the dress. She may have turned down the offer of his Spiraptor earlier, but at least now he could get her a gift. He had the spare cash, unless of course this thing was made from pure silk or something. Not to mention he was acquiring some excellent shades for himself. He hoped it wasn't too pricy, but figured it would be worth it anyway.

"Is that the one you want to get?"

Silas hoped she liked this one, because as patient as he was, he was also starting to get hungry, and figured they should find food soon too. He didn't want to hurry her though, because as long as she was having a good time, then he was too. He also realized he really didn't have much of a plan for the rest of the afternoon. Well, it never hurt to figure out what the lady wanted to do.

"Also, do you have an idea for what you want to do next?"

On a date

For a moment, Jessica was still in her own world - trying the dress on and seeing how well it worked with her, to the point where she almost forgot you were there. She really liked the sundress, though it also might have been she just enjoyed dressing up and looking pretty. Regardless, she liked it. When you complimented her on how she looked, her face flushed. Her cheeks inhabited that rosy pinkish red color that always seemed to show up when she was felt embarrassed, flattered, or shy. Still, she smiled brightly because of your compliment.

"Thank you.” she froze a moment as she was at a loss for words. Finally, you broke her tongue-tied state, by asking her if this was the one she wanted, which sparked a few questions in her head. Was he in a rush of sorts? Is he going to buy the dress for me? Among others. The female turned back to look at herself in the mirror, admiring how pretty the dress made her feel, and on top of that, how pretty you think she looked in it. She turned back to face you and nodded. ”Yes, this is the one.” She twirled around in it one more time, before heading back into the change room, and switching back into her ninja outfit – the sundress back on a hanger which she folded over her forearm and held close to her.

"I'm not sure. There's still a lot of things I want to se-" Jessica's words were interrupted by her stomach growling in hunger, something she felt wasn't befitting of the lady she was trying to be to impress you. For whatever reason, she felt she still needed to try to captivate you. "I guess we'll go for food.." her head hung down and blushed ffrom embarrassment.

The two of you made your way to the cashier to purchase your respective items, but before you could do anything, Jessica paid for both the sundress and the sunglasses. She smiled and linked her arm around your own, pulling you along outside the clothing store before you even had the chance to react.

Once again, she turned to you - this time with a question of her own.

"What food do you like most? I saw a few small restaurants with different variety of foods. There's also that one restaurant that everyone was talking about - a sushi bar of sorts. What do you think?"

Before Silas could even whip some cash out of his pocket, Jessica had ended up paying for both items. He smiled at her and put the shades in his pocket, not needing to wear them while indoors.

"Thanks for paying for my shades. I appreciate it a lot! Now I'll treat you for lunch."

Silas blushed a bit himself when he felt her arm link around his. He was glad her stomach had started growling as well, for he didn't want to give off the impression that he was rushing her. Fate, it seemed, was in his favor this time.

"Well, I'm definately not a picky eater, and I'll try just about anything, but I suppose my favorite places to eat are good pasta places. Of course, I have a penchant for sweets as well."

He chuckled.

"However, I love sushi as well. We could go anywhere you like. What types of food do you like?"

If Silas was being honest with himself, he could be eating dirt for all he cared, as long as he was sharing a table with the ninja girl he had found himself in the company of. However, Silas was doing his best not to try and look stupid or seem forward. This was his first date in a long time, and he didn't want to blow it at all. Normalcy was out of the ordinary for Silas. He figured he'd just let her lead the way and follow along like a happy Houndour. He looked down at his normally bouncing companion who seemed hungry and slightly embarassed for some reason.

"And you don't need to worry, Jessica. We have all day to explore. After we grab a bite, we can go check out more shops and just continue to have a wonderful time."

He hoped that would reassure her. Silas was indeed having a wonderful time.

Still on the date ;)

Jessica smiled as you thanked her for buying you the shades and nodded in response. She didn't mind paying for them, especially since she liked you and all. Furthermore, as she learned about what types of food you enjoyed, she thought about where she could take you that served such foods. Luckily for her, you said that you were fine with sushi - upon her errands in Millenia, she never learned of any Italian Cuisine Restaurants in the area. However, she did learn of a famous sweets store that she could take you to after, which made her all the more, happy.

”Actually... I like a lot of foods..” Jessica scratched the back of her head lightly. ”I really enjoy eating. So I exercise a lot to not get fat.”

She blushed a little from embarrassment again, but shrugged it aside and pointed to the fancy looking restaurant about a 5 minute walk from your position. ”The sushi restaurant is right over there.” With her arm linked around yours, she began walking in the complete opposite direction of the aforementioned building. After several steps, she realized her sense of direction failed once again and she had led you the wrong way. She pouted briefly then led you back the right way towards the restaurant.

The Sushi Restaurant was having an all-you-can-eat special today, so I guess you were kinda in luck. Jessica could eat all she wanted to, and since you were paying, you wouldn't have to spend so much money. The both of you entered the restaurant, and were greeted by a host. After Jessica indicated there were only two of you, the host directed you over to your booth and the both of you sat down.

After she left, Jessica looked down at the menu card - it required you to check the dishes you would like to eat. She looked up at you and shifted the card over to you.

"So what would you like to try? Some Miso Soup for starters? California Rolls? Maybe some Calamari?" Jessica had placed her forearms against the edge of the table, and cupped her chin in both her palms, as she smiled at you.

AN: This took way longer than it should have.. sorry about that. x.x;

She was extremely cute when she got lost. Silas smiled and allowed her to lead him the wrong way at first, and then ultimately to the restaurant. He was incredibly lucky for the place she wanted to eat at seemed to be having a special deal today! Unless Jessica knew that and chose this place knowing that he was going to be picking up the check. Whatever the reasons behind it, Silas was looking forward to having a great meal with Jessica.

Silas looked down at the menu card, glancing up and down. He wasn't sure exactly how bold Jessica's tastes were, since the California roll was a pretty safe choice, but didn't really feel like disagreeing. He picked up the pen and marked off 2 miso soups, a platter of fried calimari, and a california roll. He also saw individual pieces of sushi as well, seeing one that he particularly liked. He let his eyes meet hers as his heart fluttered a little bit.

"Those sound like excellent selections to me. I also see they sell individual sushi. Do you want to try one of the eel* ? If you're unsure, you can just try some of mine."

If she said yes, he'd mark down two. If she said no, he'd only get one.

"Also, what do you want to drink? I'm going to get a soda."

Silas was glad they finally got here, because he was starving.

*AN: I have eel written there with an asterisk because I'm unsure as to whether it would be eel or some eel-based Pokemon.

Jessica still had her elbows on the table, with her chin cupped in her hands as she looked down at the menu, upside down, since you were reading it. Every now and again you both would conveniently look up at each other and your eyes would meet. You already knew how it effected you, but Jessica's heart fluttered even more, and she couldn't seem to keep her gaze on you for more than a few seconds, before shifting her eyes elsewhere. Apparently, she was shy again. She retreated back to another position, removing her elbows from the table.

Jessica's ears perked up as you mentioned the eel (I guess it would be eelektrik.. who knows.) and a shiver jolted throughout her whole body. Unfortunately, she was afraid of eel, she disliked how slimy and wriggly they were. But of course, she wouldn't tell you that.

"Y-You can order it. I'll try some of yours, if I feel bold enough to eat it.." Jessica stuttered and rubbed her arm. "That is, if you don't mind. Also, I'll have a soda as well." You marked down one eel, and the two drinks. Then, at that moment the waitress came to see if you were ready, bringing two glasses of water with her. She set them on the table and then asked if you had finished ordering - Jessica spoke up here.

"Yes, for now. Could you bring us another menu card after? We may feel more hungry and order some more." Jessica smiled at the waitress who nodded and took the menu card with her to get your orders. As she left, Jessica grabbed the glass of water, and began drinking it from the straw. After a small drink from it, she set it down and her elegant blue eyes focused on you again. She brushed a few strands of hair behind her ear before speaking.

"What do would you like to do after we finish eating? Anything particular you had in mind?"

AN: Hopefully there's enough in here for you to respond to.

Silas made a mental note not to mention the word 'eel' to Jessica. She obviously had an avulsion to it, judging by the look on her face. Thankfully, the awkwardness was broken by the waitress' perfectly timed entrance. Sipping his soda, he nodded the waitress away after recieving the second menu. That was when Jessica started looking at him again, and the Butterfrees in his stomach really started fluttering around.

"Hmm, well I haven't really thought about it. I've been having such a good time I let the future slip from my mind."

He smiled and began weighing his options. Clearly he needed to come with some method of training. His Poketech remained silent, so there were no calls from work. He'd have to look in on that: being a bounty hunter was useless if you didn't have any bounties.

"Well, if we're getting bored, I'm sure we could take on some of the fellow mallgoers. Otherwise, I'm sure there is plenty to do around the city. We could just walk the streets and soak in the nightlife. Or we could journey on, heading towards the next place. Explore some new territory, fight off wild Pokemon, and live the life. Any of those sound good to you?"

Every good thing had to have an end: even fun dates. However, hopefully this one was going well enough that he'd be able to have more later. He sat patiently and waited for her answer.

That same pinkish red hue once again began to invade Jessica's peach tone cheeks. This time, the reason she was blushing was because of how you mentioned you were having such a good time, she felt.. happy, which in turn... well, you know. Regardless, she returned the smile back at you and awaited your answer. As you explained your options to Jessica, she thought about the last one you mentioned, about exploring other territories. The beautiful girl was still definitely up for exploring the world - it was pretty much the second reason why she wanted to tag along with you and your adventures. Can you guess the first? But I digress.. Thankfully to drag me away from pointless idle, the waitress returned back to your table with a cart containing all your orders on it. One by one, she placed the dishes on the table before the both of you, rearranging them so that all the dishes would be able to fit properly. Finally, she pulled out the last dish from the cart and placed it in front of Jessica - the last remaining place on the table.

"And the eel. That's everything. If you need anything else, just let me know." the waitress smiled, bowed, and pushed the cart away to go tend to other customers.

Jessica's eyes widened as the waitress mentioned the eel, and somehow conveniently it was placed right before the one who seemed most afraid of it. You're welcome. A shudder ran through her entire body, before she let out an adorable.. "Kyaaa~!!" Not even an instant before she screamed out, did she cover her mouth from embarrassment. Poor girl.. some @$$hole keeps putting her in all these embarrassing situations.

Jessica slowly switched the eel with another plate, just so that the eel wasn't as closed to her, before she began mixing her miso soup to try and pretend like nothing happened. She then realized that she never really gave you an answer and spoke up again.

"Both those sound really nice. Maybe we could just enjoy the rest of the day, and then later we can leave and start exploring the rest of the world, if you're okay with that, that is."

Before you had a chance to answer, a loud glass shattering sound echoed throughout the restaurant. You were right, every good thing had to come to an end. Off at another table on the other side of the restaurant, was a heated argument. From the looks of it, a man was drunk and was shouting all kinds of nonsense at the hosts and waitresses. His wife - visibly drunk as well, though considerably more intoxicated than her husband, was also b*tching at the staff members. The argument wasn't exactly audible, but you could hear the sounds of the debacle. Were you gonna interrupt your little perfect date and investigate? Or were you going to continue spending your time with the lovely Jessica?

Silas sighed at the sound of breaking glass and screaming voices. The two continued to eat, Silas nomming all the eel quickly so Jessica wouldn't have to see it on the table anymore. The romantic mood of the afternoon had been destroyed, the tranquility shattered and replaced by this now slight awkwardness. Only Jessica's smiling face allowed him to keep his cool. After the meal was completed, he motioned for the check, which came quickly. The waitress was obviously happy to be at any table but that one. Silas paid for the meal in full and placed the check down on the table, taking Jessica's hand in his.

"Sounds like a plan to me. However, these people have been really nice to us. Why don't you and me help them take out their trash -"

With that, Silas nodded his head towards the arguing couple. If he continued to let the two go on like that, the restaurant would acquire lots of damages and lose its reputation as a good place. The food had been very good. Plus it would give him a little bit of action and bring some excitement to the date. After all, the hero usually gets the girl, right? Maybe he'd look good and noble by helping out the restaurant owners. So he wasn't exactly a self-less saint... but he was a pretty good guy.

"- and then we can go get some ice cream, ok?"

He smiled at her. Whenever she blushed she was incredibly cute. It was at that moment his Poketech beeped. Apparently he had won some kind of prize and recieved a '09 festival item, which he would hock, and a.... Magby egg? Astounding! The egg was transmitted to him, and he held it in his hands, stunned. Then, he recieved two offers, one for King's Rock and one for Butterfree. Both sounded good and he called forth Ekans. He took the King's Rock from him lifted him up onto his shoulder.

"Looks like we got a job to do, Ekans. Sorry about the rock, but I'll make it up to you, ok pal?"

Ekans nodded and curled affectionately around Silas neck and back, knowing his friend must know what was best. Silas was pleased to recieve not only a TM, but an extra Pokeball and a charcoal as well. He turned to Jessica and outstretched his hand.

"Shall we?"

Jessica looked at you as you grabbed and held her hand. She was a little taken aback by the sudden gesture, but quickly warmed up to it and smiled back at you - her fingers curling around your hand. As you mentioned the rather crude and disruptive duo in the restaurant, Jessica sighed. She was trying not to pay much attention to them, mainly because she wanted to enjoy the time she had with you on a date. The fact that you two would be adventuring for quite some time wasn't enough apparently. Nevertheless, she did have a sense of obligation to do good, and knew that the right thing to do would be to help you defeat the delinquent duo and give the restaurant and its staff some peace of mind.

The beautiful female blinked a few times as you summoned forth your long snake (not like that.. =D ) and watched in slight fear as it wrapped around you affectionately. The lovely maiden, wasn't just scared of eels, she was afraid of long, slithery-like beings. Either by shear luck, or possibly because she was too afraid, she managed to stop herself from screaming once again, and inched ever so slightly away from the Ekans. However, as you turned to face her and extended your hand to her, she had to move closer to you. Hesitantly, she reached out and grabbed your hand, before you pulled her off towards the couple.

As you made your way over to the two, the conversation was actually decipherable. The woman and the man were complaining about the service (which was good), the food (which was delicious), and the building itself (which was clean). They seemed as though they really just wanted to start drama. Jessica, who was probably more eager to get away from the snake around your neck, stepped up towards them with that ever-so appealing fiery attitude of hers.

"Hey! What are you two complaining about?! This restaurant is amazing! The service is wonderful, and the food is incredible! I think something's wrong with the both of you.."

Unfortunately, this only seemed to irk the couple more, and they retorted angrily and violently to Jessica, who seemed un-phased by it.

"Listen 'ere, young missy. I ain't know who ya think ya are.. but ya got some nerve ta talk to us like that!" Their drunken stupor was clearly visible by the way the male spoke. "Why don'chu mind yer own biz'ness, run along and play dress-up wit' yer boy toy."

Jessica's ears twitched and the fire in her eyes grew more wild, completely forgetting that one of her greatest fears was right behind her. She didn't like being talked that way to, and using her training as a ninja, the female delivered a swift slap to the burly man's face. For a slender girl such as Jessica, the force had enough power to cause the male to stumble back a bit. His wife, instantly got defensive and grabbed a Pokeball, enlarging the orb within her grasp and summoning forth her Pokemon companion. A Seviper appeared before Jessica - conveniently one of her fears, putting the poor girl into shock once again. She stumbled back, tripping on her own feet. As she landed, Seviper lunged forward towards the female. You better act fast.

Silas couldn't believe his eyes and ears. Not only were the two of them completely rude and cruel, they were attacking a human with Pokemon. This was, of course, completely forbidden by the Pokemon League, and this would not stand. He'd get these two to spend the night in a prison cell, but for now he would have to take on this Seviper and hold them here until the police arrived. Of course, of immediate consequence was saving Jessica.

"Ekans! Leap forward and Strike the Seviper! Knock it off course and protect Jessica!"

"EKANSSSSS!"

Before the Seviper could strike his lovely lady friend, Ekans rammed into its head and sent the two crashing into an empty table. Now the snakes were hissing at each other and getting ready to face off! Silas ran over to Jessica and got her back up onto her feet.

"Are you OK?"

He held onto her as he glared at the boisterous couple.

"That was rude. And wrong. You will pay by being destroyed."

Silas turned towards his Ekans and nodded.

"Ekans, follow up that Strike attack with a Dark Pulse. Shut it down!"

He glanced towards a waitress.

"These two are attacking innocent people with Pokemon. I'd suggest calling the police. Don't worry. I'll hold them here."

Finally, a battle. Silas loved the heat of the fight and any chance to make him and his team stronger. The fire blazed in his eyes as the gears started grinding, plotting superior strategies and plans to help his Ekans claim victory.

Crash! Shatter!

Those aren't rally sound effects.. but that's pretty much what happened when your Ekans attacked the Seviper and they both crashed into an empty table. Plates were shattered, and the salt and pepper shakers were spilled along the ground. Perhaps it would be best if you went outside the restaurant and fought, otherwise you might break more stuff and damage the restaurant. The drunken male finally regained his composure and glared devilishly at Jessica, who at this point was slightly cowering behind you - beside of the snakes. She wasn't really hurt, just spooked and she let you know she was fine by the gentle, yet nervous smile she gave you.

"Yer gonna pay fer dat one.."

He was visibly enraged now, (umadbro?) and the remaining customers in the restaurant were afraid. They panicked and began rushing out the entrance of the restaurant, making it increasingly more difficult for you to take this battle outside without further damaging the store. The drunken man grabbed his Pokeball and brought out his own Pokemon - Cacnea. Jessica saw this and realized she was going to have to bring out her own Pokemon, and in doing so, her Jigglypuff was now ready to battle. The waitress hurried into the back and began dialing for the Police.

With the Police on their way, you just had to worry about stalling long enough for them to get here.

"Cacnea! Use Poison Sting!" ordered the man.

Cacnea raised its right arm, aiming towards you, rather than your Pokemon, which quite frankly was pretty stupid, and obviously going to get them thrown in jail. Before the poison sting could go off, Jigglypuff delivered a devastating blow to Cacnea, sending the cactus Pokemon crashing into the wall.

"I'll handle the old guy! Please take care of that old hag. spoke Jessica, who annoyed the aforementioned woman.

Head of Registration - The Exploding Train
Silas was glad to see that Jessica was back up on her feet. Now he could turn to the battle at hand and try to figure out what exactly he wanted to do. Unfortunately, it seemed that Jessica's fear of snakes made her not want to take on the Seviper. Silas knew he was more suited to take on the Cacnea with Ekans having the type advantage, but wasn't about to argue. He nodded and smiled, trying to reassure her.

"You got it, partner! With you fighting at my side, we're unstoppable!"

Now it was time to focus. The Seviper and his Ekans would offset each other, neither able to poison the other. Silas knew he had a small advantage with his Ekans' Intimidation factor combined with some secret weapons. While Ekans' moveset wasn't exactly powerful on its own, Silas had given his serpent some powerful moves with different TM's he had acquired. It seemed that the foe was male, so Attract was out of the question, but he had another few moves up his sleeve. The gears spun as he chose what he considered to be a suitable strategy.

"Ekans! Lock eyes with the Seviper and hit it with a Glare attack! Then, hit it with two Dark Pulses! Show him you're the superior serpent!"

"KANSSSSS!"

Ekans whipped his curls around and furiously dove into combat. Silas watched, hoping not only that his strategy would work, but that Jessica would be able to handle the Cacnea. It seemed that the people had all left and the police had been called. He'd just have to survive a bit longer...
