[ journey start ] Welcome to Alternia! More specifically, the quaint village that was Nogou. It wasn't a particularly popular place for trainers like you to visit, but that didn't mean it didn't have its perks! After all, you'd be hard-pressed to find a better Daycare than the one Delia ran here. And if you were going to be spending some time searching for a forest- or mountain-dwelling Pokemon, the Happy Campers store was chock full of the supplies you'd need. There was even a gym! The townsfolk passed you by, all with agendas of their own for the day. You were walking past one of the smaller shops, when... "SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME!" The voice seemed to be coming from one of the less-popular vendors, Melinda's Berries and Herbs. Loud crashes could be heard from inside the store, and it seemed either the citizens of Nogou couldn't hear them, or simply weren't worried. Well, if you chose to investigate further, you would find that the store's shelves had all been ransacked. A tall, thin, wispy-haired woman was standing behind the counter, her hands over her mouth as tears quietly leaked out of her eyes. Her beloved Bellsprout lay fainted on the ground, having fallen victim to today's troublemaker. She was short, somewhat chubby, with spiky blonde hair. Her face was caked in heavy makeup and her baggy clothes looked like they hadn't been washed in days. "I beat you fair and square. Now I'll take what's mine. Natasha, grab the goods!" Her Pokemon, an equally chubby Venonat, squeaked in acknowledgement of her trainer's commands and began to devour everything in sight. The blonde-haired girl sighed, turned to leave and saw you there. "This is what a strong trainer looks like," she told you arrogantly, before walking off with her head held high. Moments later, her Venonat scurried after her. So what will you do? You could go in and talk to Melinda - she seems pretty shaken up and could use some help cleaning the mess they made. Or you could catch up to the blonde girl before she disappears from your view ... make her swallow her pride and pay for the damage she caused? Or you could do something completely different. Really, the ball was in your court now. Edited by Racer, Jul 21 2009, 12:10 AM.

Silas stood there with a stony grimace locked on his face. He was only in town for one day, and it appeared that a situation was on his hands already. All he wanted was to settle down and maybe find something to eat. It appeared that the carefree day he had planned was not going to happen unfortunately. There would be time to relax later. Silas felt bad for the crying girl. From his years of growing up on the streets, Silas knew sometimes it was necessary to take things if you needed them. However there was no excuse for bullying someone and being greedy. Silas frowned and looked back and forth from the retreating girl and the wrecked shop. On one hand, Silas knew that the shop was already wrecked. Nothing anyone could do about that. On the other hand, the girl could still be stopped. Silas detested bad manners and he detested bullies even more. Silas knew he was going to need his companion's help on this one. It certainly was a good start to his journey away from Goldenrod, having to battle somebody on his first day at Nogou. He reached down to his belt and grabbed Pinsir's pokeball.* "Go. Pinsir." As the words flowed softly and calmly from Silas' mouth, he pressed the button on the ball and tossed it into the air. "That girl there robbed a shop. She also gave me some attitude. Shall we go adjust her attitude, bud?" Pinsir flexed his arms as a glint appeared in his eye. "Sir. PinSIR!" A small smile formed on Silas' face at Pinsir's enthusiasm. This girl had to be taught a lesson and, since no one else was stepping forward, it looked like he was going to be the one to have to do it. Silas and Pinsir walked briskly up to the retreating girl and her Venonat and shouted so that his monotone voice could be heard. "Hey. You." Silas folded his arms across his chest. His tattered trench-coat was fluttering in the breeze as stared at the trainer. "That was rude. I suggest you return what is not yours." Pinsir clacked his horns together and balled his clawed hands into fists. "Sir!" Edited by Silas, Jun 11 2009, 10:41 PM.

So... you chose to follow the girl didn't you. You couldn't of just helped to clean up. nah i am just messing with you. in all honest, that was a better choice... it was what a gentleman would have done. Maybe there is hope for you in the world. All kidding aside lets see how this would turn out for you. At first she doesn't think you are serious and keeps running to a checkpoint to meet up with... wait in nogou town, what would they be driving, a cart? a getaway Cart??? oh well, i guess it is good enough for now. to meet up with her getaway cart. It would seem at first that she doesn't notice you... until your Pinsir calls out for the second time. this time she takes notice of you and pivots to look you over before speak to you bluntly in a new york floozy accent. "Why did little Mike have to be late... Hunney, you don't want to mess with me. If you don't want trouble, I suggest you turn yourself around and try helpin' that little lady at the Shoppe." She stands silently as the two of you face off. She has to have a worry of how long she could hold out before her ride would get there. it is obvious from the look on her face that the fact you aren't running to help the shop keeper is either putting her a little on edge. Trying to keep up a tough image she barks out an order to her pokemon "Natasha, SUPERSONIC, RIGHT NOW!" Her voice seemed to squeak a little as she barked her order. The venonat in front of her giggled a little at the peculiar sound of its master's voice. It must considering that its trainer hardly ever got angry enough to squeak while talking. But when the statement was finished, the Venonat searched with it's eyes till it found your Pinsir. Once it found them the small purple bug opened its mouth as small blue circles are released. The circles then grow in size and fly towards your Pinsir. Pinsir's eyes soon turn blue as it becomes confused, and looks around to find its true oppnent. Sensing an easy defeat, the girl turns to you and tells Venonat to put some of the Loot on the ground. "tell you what hun. you just recall your little pet and pretend this didn't happen, and i will split the loot, give you something to take back to Melinda." So once more you are faced with a problem, do you attempt to barter with the criminal, and fall into her web. Do you battle her to try and take the loot back, and potentially damage what she stole... or are you going to go headlong into some righteous vigilante justice. once again silas, the ball is in your court. The smallest of smiles appeared on Silas' face. Normally, a new trainer would be panicing in this situation, but Silas was not exactly the 'normal' trainer. Silas could hear the squeak in the woman's voice. It was an obvious ploy to cover up something that the annoying little witch didn't want anyone to figure out. "That small little squeak in your voice... it does a poor job at masking your fear. You're not used to having someone stand up and hold you responsible for your actions, are you?" Silas lifted a hand to his face and rubbed his chin. Now there was this offer to be considered. Getting some free goods was always enticing to someone who grew up on the streets, but he couldn't accept the offer. If the girl had been confident in her abilities, then she wouldn't have wasted her breath with an offer. This only further convinced Silas that she was afraid of him. Not to mention she had been rude, and insulted both him and Pinsir by blindsiding him with that Confuse Ray. Silas' smiling countenance turned into a grim gaze. He knew that he and Pinsir would give her something to really be afraid of. "You had your chance." "Pin...sir? Silas shifted the gaze over to his partner. Pinsir got hit with that Confuse Ray pretty hard. It was a good diversion, but Silas doubted that Venonat of hers would be able to take Pinsir on physically. If he could get Pinsir back in his right state of mind, then it might be a quick and easy match. The challenge would be getting Pinsir to attack the enemy and not himself due to the confusion. He unfolded his arms and raised his left one. He pointed at the Venonat while he raised his voice. "Pinsir! Concentrate on the task at hand with Focus Energy! Snap out of it, and then grab the little bugger with Bind! Squeeze him into submission!" |

So... you made the foolish choice to battle her. Even though your pinsir was confused and could like succumb to the wills of heckling Refs that want to test your meddle. I mean all you had to do was recall it and then sneak attack the fur ball to get all of the goods. But I guess you have made your decision and now comes the time to face the consequence. Your pinsir listened intently to your words. But all it heard was the sound of silence. In fact it began to sing along to that very song while it figured what to do. Finally it tried to use any attack it could think of... only to charge into a small shrubbery and cause damage to itself. All this is quite a lot for the girl, who is no longer focusing on the battle, but on finding that get away cart. She turns to you and flicks her hair "Hun, you got nutin' on me. Give up. Natasha, give the fool his half." The venonat picks up the berries and supplies that had been set-aside for you. It waddles over to you and places the bundle down at your feet. It then looks to you in a peculiar manner, as if wondering if you would take the parcel. Seeing you stiff it pushed it towards your feet like an anxious pup wanting to play fetch. It then moved back to the side of its master. "Now Natasha, Tackle that overgrown bug." The Venonat leaped into action, unlike how it acted earlier and pummeled the Pinsir behind the bushes mercilessly. It is almost too much to watch. Though, to divert your attention away there is one thing that is present. As soon as both bugs disappear, your Poketch begins to beep. When you glance down it is an advert for the Zaroff Island Lottery ::BUY A TICKET:: Admittedly it isn't a good advert, but when you are not trying to promote gambling the best way is to have bad adverts. Now that your time has been wasted, you probably should go check on your pinsir... and lets not forget getting what loot you had recovered back to the shop, then there is the lotto... decisions, now I guess the question is what will you choose? Silas remained completely stone-faced while the events unfolded around him. Not only was it a bad omen he got forced into this whole situation, it was a worse scenario considering he appeared to be on the losing side of things. However, the cackle of the witch was all he needed to hear to keep him going. He never gave up before when he was living on the streets, and he wouldn't give up now. This had become a personal vendetta to prove himself. The annoying advertisement kept popping up about the lottery on his poketech. Silas hadn't gotten the hang of using this thing yet, so he couldn't figure out how to shut it off. He sighed and did the only thing he could do. He quickly replied to the ticket service by buying two tickets. There went 50 bucks down the drain. Now that the poketech wasn't jammering at him, it was time to go see how Pinsir was faring. He scooped up the parcel that was on the ground out of instinct from his urchin days, and ran behind the bushes. The girl wouldn't just leave the Venonat behind, so as long as she stood there feeling confident about herself, he might be able to get the upper hand again. "Pinsir! Where are you?" As Silas ran through the bushes, he finally came upon the bug Pokémon. Pinsir had gotten hit by the tackle, but he wasn't down for the count yet. Silas knew that getting attacked like this would only rile Pinsir up more. "Focus, Pinsir! Lock onto it with Focus Energy!" Silas took a deep breath and remained calm. He needed to think fast. Focus Energy wasn't enough. He'd need to land a blow or two. Even a confused Pokémon would know where an assailant was if it was pummeling him at point-blank range. Silas' eyes widened. That was it! Venonat was still trying to use tackle, since the stupid girl didn't seem to be paying attention. "It's right in front of you! Grab ahold of Venonat with a Vicegrip! Put a little pressure on it!" PinSIR!!! Silas clutched his hands into fists, hoping this one would work out. If Pinsir didn't snap out of his confusion soon enough, this battle might be lost... |

Well now, it would seem you are a good little boy when it comes to trying to fight off the enemy, but not so when it comes to taking care of your own Pokemon, because it still is confused. something I will exploit till I get tired of it. Fortunately, the numbness in my mouth causes me to grow tired quickly. Anyway as much as I know you LOVE heckling, we need to get back to the battle. Your pinsir looked to its enemy and began to hit at a Venonat, only the one he was hitting was another shrubbery. Soon out of confusion it began to hit itself with the move strike. the bug took a hit or two before snapping out of its confusion and unleashing a full fury vice grip. Wow a critical hit! you look on in awe at the purple muff ball even flinches and can't attack. But, there are other things that need your attention. As you peek your head out of the bushes, you see the chick is gone. Perhaps she too is looking for her Pokemon. At any rate she has left the other half of the Loot on the ground. If you are quick you might be able to get the bag before she gets back to notice. But if you are going to grab the bag, you should hurry. there is a sound of a cart in the area, among other sounds you cannot tell if it is coming or going. The getaway cart might be closer then you think. But before you can get moving two other sounds catch your ear. the first is Pinsir shouting as venonat uses tackle. to think that the armored bug is howling at the pain induced by a puffball. The second is your Poketch as yet another Advert for the lotto is heard. ::buy a ticket, win stuff, and buy a ticket win stuff... the Zaroff island lotto:: Wow, those guys really need to hire an agent to do the ads. you don't have much time in any direction. your options stand at two. you can coach pinsir on to victory. Or, you can nab the bag of berries. Either way i would think fast. YOU level 5 ![]() 13/35 85%(no longer confused) Opponent level 6 ![]() 25/37 84% |

Silas was once again put in a position where he needed to think fast. The stupid poketech must be broken. He'd fix it later. He mashed a few buttons quickly before finding the mute button. Now he could concentrate, at least for now. Silas' mind was racing, contemplating over the different options and what to do. His fists clenched tighter as he realized the situation was looking increasingly more grim. There wasn't much he could do. Thanks to some higher power, Pinsir had ended up doing a hefty amount of damage to himself. The easy decision would be to cut one's losses here and snag the berries. No one would blame him for getting the loot back. However, if Pinsir could pull the win out, then it would be him and Pinsir versus the chubby girl. Those odds would be phenomenally in his favor. When faced with Pinsir's horns and her fuzzball out of comission, there was no way the coward would refuse to yield the stash. Besides, if he and Pinsir combined had the edge over the abandoned Venonat. It was all alone, and for the last two turns was only able to rush at it recklessly, whereas his Pinsir was focused on the puffball and completely ruthless. Silas quickly glanced around the bush and the area where the whole ordeal had started. She wasn't there! She must be looking for something... probably that vehicle approaching in the distance. She probably wouldn't leave the Venonat, considering her Pokémon was worth more than a couple berries, but she must have decided that the battle wasn't worth her watching. Stupid move by the girl. A great chance for them. The berries could wait. This fight took higher priority. "Pinsir! Scare it out of its wits with Intimidate, and then go in for another Vicegrip!" Pinsir furiously clacked its horns together, and then rushed to obey the commands. "SIR!!!!!!" A bead of sweat ran down Silas' face as he stepped to the right, getting closer to the second half of the loot. His days as a thief and urchin as a kid still had some influence, and it was hard for him to resist the alluring temptation of the free goods. The battle was heating up, and this next clash could be the difference between victory and defeat! Edited by Silas, Jun 17 2009, 12:11 PM.

Pinsir locked his spiny horns together and glared at the furry Venonat with fearsome eyes. Pinsir kept his perfect gaze, instilling fear into the ruby red eyes of the Venonat and began to clack his horns together at a slow pace, and then increased the tempo. Somehow Pinsir's natural noise had intimidated Venonat, as the bug shrieked and lowered itself into a thick leafy bush. Pinsir figured out it was trying to flee from the ongoing battle to its owner, who was now advancing quickly to the getaway ride, basket of stolen goods in hand. Meanwhile, Pinsir was still clacking his thick horns together at impossible speed while Venonat whimpered in its pitiful position against the nearby bush. Pinsir then bent over halfway at his back, and rushed the now scared senseless Venonat, and locked his horns on each side of its thin neck. As Pinsir tightly pushed his horns closer together, forcing the spines on them to gouge deep into the Venonat's flabby neck, the bug thrashed his puny arms, trying to strike Pinsir hard enough for him to release his grip. The bug had virtually no cahnce of surviving the match now, and Pinsir had squeezed his horns tight enough around its throat that the Venonat was struggling for just one breath of air and was now suffocating. If Pinsir held his deathgrip on Venonat for another minute or so, the Venonat would run out of stored air to breathe and eventually die. The thief was only five yards of pitifully running with her chubby legs from the escape car, but I doubt she would leave without her precious Venonat. I mean, what would be the point of stealing berries and other assorted goods without a Pokemon to feed them to? The overweight gothic thief must have realized this, because she suddenly stopped her run and glanced back at the battle scenario. Pinsir was now repeatetly thrashing the Venonat into the earthy ground while maintaining the Vicegrip around the Venonat's neck. Cracks in the earth widened each time the Venonat crashed into the ground, weakening and slowly creeping closer towards death every second. "Stop! Your going to kill her! Tell that freak to stop, please! I beg you, talk all the goods, just please spare her, please!" squeaked the crying thief who had sat down on the road and curled herself into tight ball, rocking back and forth. It is now your complete choice on how to end this conflict. You can either force Pinsir to stop his killing antics and recieve the stolen goods and return them to the shop, or let Venonat suffococate to death in Pinsir's grip, andrisk the thief escaping with the other half of the goods. Silas inwardly sighed with relief, the bead of sweat running down his face and dropping onto the ground. It had been a brutal gamble, but Pinsir's ferocity had allowed him to come out on top. Now he was going to get all of the goods, and a victory in his first battle in the Alternia region! The tall teenager smiled and relaxed his tight fists. He brought his hands up and folded them across his chest. A spare breeze caught his trench coat, and the tattered piece of clothing fluttered in the breeze. His voice was cool and monotone as he spoke to the thief. "Like I said, that was rude." Silas gazed at the trembling girl. Her tough cover had melted, revealing her true fear. She was just a stupid little girl, and she had appeared to learn her lesson. Silas was also a thief himself, and could understand how she was feeling being caught in the act. Silas figured she wouldn't ever trouble him or the Berry shop girl ever again. "A word of advice: next time, don't abandon your Venonat like you did against a fearsome opponent. Your overconfidence is your weakness. Pinsir!" The scarred gaze of Pinsir turned to hear Silas' next order. "Pin?" "Victory is ours. Release it." "Sir!" Pinsir released the crushing pressure from his horns, tossing the Venonat and allowing it to fall to the ground. It continued to clack it's horns and flex its arm muscles, directing it's intimidating eyes at the would-be-thief. Silas approached her, reaching into his backpack at the shrill sound of the advert for the lottery. Once again, Silas purchased two tickets because he didn't have time to consult his instruction manual on how to silence it. He would have plenty of time to figure it out when he didn't have more important issues at hand. Upon reaching the crying girl, he stretched out his hand. "I will be taking that, if you don't mind." Silas had left Pinsir out of his pokeball in order to be ready to leap at the girl and her fallen Venonat in case of any sudden moves. He simply did not trust her or her insect, and would not put it past her to try a sucker punch. The goods were as good as his. Edited by Silas, Jun 24 2009, 11:49 PM.

Well now, the scary fat girl was beaten, and unwillingly handed over the goods she stole... Which was alot. Where the HELL was she carrying all this? Bag of stolen goods: x4 Pecha Berries x2 Oran Berries x5 Rawst Berries x1 Sitrus Berry Now, wouldn't it be a good idea to keep these for yourself? No.. It wouldn't. Bad karma after all, riiiight? Bad karma is never good in the way of the workings of the world, riiiiiiight? Well, ebing the good samaritian you are, you took the bag and began walking back towards the store. Getting there, you noticed that many other people had run away screaming. Was your Pinsir that scary? Of course not, who couldn't love that... beetle... thing... Anyway, you turn around to see what the ruckus was about, and find yourself starting at a now-hissing Ekans, which apparently just slithered out of the alley next to the store. Well, what do you do first? Run in and drop off the berries real quick, or let the Ekans have at them? Pinsir didn't look too well after the Venonat battle, so maybe running inside and asking to have that Sitrus berry would be smart, yes? Battle? It appeared Silas went from one controversy right to another. Pinsir couldn't have much left in his tank after battling that fuzzy little twerp earlier. This Ekans looked fresh and ready for a fight. No one else was getting Pokémon out to challenge this serpent. If Silas got out of its way and let it go, it would probably start attacking anyone else. So it looked like it was once again up to him put an end to a crisis. Smoke looked down at the loot, and poked through the random berries held within the sack. He picked one up and identified it as a Sitrus berry. This could give Pinsir the edge he needed to handle the serpentine problem. He looked at where the Ekans was coming from. The alley seemed to be rather narrow. If he kept it there, the Ekans wouldn't be able to worm his away around Pinsir and attack him from the sides. In a head-on-head collision, Pinsir's horns would crush the Ekans' coils. All Pinsir needed was the strength to keep on battling. He certainly had the will, however, which was painfully obvious as the insect Pokémon was already clenching its fists and stepping in front of the alley to confront the Ekans. Silas had to think quick... if the girl was still in the store weeping over her Bellsprout, then maybe she'd be a bit more sympathetic to the situation. Silas hated depending on others, but he didn't see another way out of this one. He stepped towards the store and pushed the door open, yelling inside so he did not have to tear his gaze away from Pinsir and Ekans. "Hey you! I got your berries back, but you have another problem on your hands. You've got an angry Ekans out front ready to create a world of problems, and my Pinsir is weak from battle. I know your Bellsprout took a beating earlier, and I can handle this problem too. I just need to give my Pinsir this Sitrus berry!" "Sirrrrrr pinSIR!!!" Always ready for combat, Pinsir clacked its horns together and was preparing to strike on its own. Silas had the berry within his hand. There wasn't an option. If the girl wanted to give him the berry, then taking action now wouldn't be a problem. If she didn't want to give him the berry, well he could pay her back for it when an Ekans wasn't looking to chomp on him and Pinsir. Then it would be like he bought it fair and square. Silas was waiting for an answer, and the standoff between Pinsir and his opponent didn't look like it was going to last much longer. The girl wasn't answering. What was she doing in there? Silas dropped the loot bag in the store and yelled out once more. "Sorry! Neither I or the people this Ekans is frightening or attacking have all day. You're going to have to put this one on my tab!" Silas ran over to Pinsir and handed it the Sitrus berry. "Pinsir! Eat the berry to regain your strength! Then lock onto it with Focus Energy! See if you can find it's weak points for critical strikes!" |

Before the girl could even call out: "That's fine, thanks anyway!" You ran out of the store, and fed the Sitrus berry to Pinsir. This did wonders for it's HP, but it's energy was still the same. Well, can't have the best of both worlds... Getting ready for the battle once the berry was down it's throat, Pinsir began to focus it's mind on the weakest points on the Ekans.. After a moment of being in the strange trance, the spots were decided! The Ekans, first keeping it's ground as you started your move, now saw that you had finished with whatever it was you were doing, and lunged for you. It went to try a Wrap, but overshot and ended up flying for Pinsir's.... pincers. Being smart, it grabbed it in a Vicegrip as it came close, seeing one of those weak spots open. And ow, that must have been a critical. Being clenched hard, the Ekans began writheing in immense pain. This looked bad... For the Ekans. Good for you, though. If the Ekans couldn't wriggle itself out of the hold, it would be done a ton more damage next turn, like this turn. This battle looked... relatively easy compared to last. The Ekans didn't look like that good of a battler, but we really haven't seen much of what it could do yet, have we? There was quite a crowd now, people no longer ran, as the giant snake was apparently being contained for now... But, how long could that last....? Head of Registration - The Exploding Train

It was good that the girl let Pinsir use the berry free of charge. Silas was happy to know that good things do happen to Good Samaritans sometimes. However, it was time to get back to the battle at hand. The Ekans was bold, no doubt, but obviously unskilled in the area of combat. The serpent was probably used to it's intimidating nature to scare weaker opponents into submission as opposed to actually fighting. If Pinsir kept up the pace, this battle would most certainly end in another victory. Silas once again began clenching his fists, something he liked to do when he was locked in the heat of battle. His eyes glanced around to make sure that this Ekans was indeed a wild Pokémon. His checkered past as a thief made him less adverse to stealing things, even Pokémon. However, any novice catburglar knew that it was completely idiotic to steal something in broad daylight, and there were still crowds of people who had fled for their lives from the Ekans huddled against each other watching him and Pinsir. Silas frowned as he wondered why on Earth so many people would run like frightened little girls from one lone Ekans. Sure it might not be the cutest Pokémon around, but his Pinsir was much more intimidating by comparison. "Sirrrr PIN!" Pinsir's voice snapped Silas out of his reverie. His insect Pokémon was concentrating on preventing Ekans from wriggling away. It was certainly an epic picture, the Ekans wriggling in pain due to the pressure of Pinsir's horns combined with Pinsir's scarred gaze locked onto its foe, his needle-like teeth quiverin and its own fists clenched in concentration. This was an extremely fortunate scenario. As long as the Ekans was trapped, Silas had complete control of the battle. A plan had already begun to form in Silas' brain for this Ekans, but he knew that the wild Pokémon wasn't nearly worn down enough yet. "Keep it up, Pinsir! Keep applying the Vicegrip to knock it down a peg or two!" Unlike the last battle, Silas didn't want to tell Pinsir to use another attack as a combination. He wanted to hurt the Ekans but didn't want to push it too far. The next few stages of combat were very delicate, and needed to be handled with extreme finesse. As long as Silas could keep the sway of the fight in his hands, he might just be able to catch this Ekans! Edited by Silas, Jun 26 2009, 11:58 PM.

Loosening his grip on the Ekans for a second, Pinsir readied for another Vicegrip. Squeezing quickly after, the damage was dealt to the snake Pokemon, and the crowd gave a small cheer. Apparently, they appreciated someone taking care of the snake, yes? Well, this snake was alittle better then it looked. Waiting for the opportun moment, the Ekans aimed itself at Pinsir's back through it's writhing motions, and blasted it in the back with Poison Sting. The impact of the attack forced Pinsir to retract it's grip, allowing the Ekans to drop off. Still not done, the Ekans jumped in for another try at Wrap, which made it this time. Wrapping around the Pinsir, it began to squeeze it. Pinsir wouldn't have this at ALL. Going almost feral, it grabbed the Ekans by the neck (under the head?), and slammed it into the floor. Ripping it off of it did alittle damage to itself, and took a toll on his energy, but he was able to dive at it, and lock it in another Vice Grip, this time pinning it to the ground. Although it wasn't a hit to it's vitals, it still had done some decent damage. Hm...... This Ekans looked almost ready to catch, yes?. But, with still so much energy left, it would be able to resist pretty well unless it was K-Oed. That, and you'd get full experience for it, even after catching it. Win/win, yes?
