Ah, the cool afternoon breeze of the fresh village air whips past your face as you stare into the bright meadow in front of you. Shadowy trees create a sky scape miles away from the edge of the meadow, which seems like an endless amount of miles away. Your first real beginning as a Pokemon trainer, leaving the comforting treehouses and crisp, clean morning air of Nogou Village. You would've started this same journey several years ago if your dear Turtwig hadn't, well you know, been stolen from you after that fateful battle with the two foreigners. However, the day is young and that was a past memory, so let's begin this journey you have waited for all these years.

As you look into the bright sun, you spot a flock of grey-colored birds migrating to the west. One puny looking one looks confused and glides gently towards the meadow ground, stopping ten feet directly in front of you. Its black eyes glow with enthusiasm for battle, are you ready for this?

Oak began to smile. He finally had a good round in attempting to teach Rollout, even if it wasn't exactly how he planned on it to happen. Either way, Oak was now that much closer to learning this dangerous move. And with a new fuel rushing through Oak's veins, maybe he could use this last round to lead him to his complete mastering of the skill.

Oak moved his hand away from his pokeball containing Sudowoodo. Koffing was starting to look more and more like he was going to be able to successfully learn Rollout. The only problem was that he was still dizzy and he was starting to lose a lot of HP and Energy. "It's ok, at least I have a back-up plan," Oak said to himself.

Oak took a deep breath and tried to focus his mind on the last round. What exactly was it that worked last round? Obviously Koffing showed better velocity, so did that mean now they work on control? Or did they start with the growing velocity of each round and then finish with the control? Oak really hated not knowing much about teaching Rollout. He should have stopped by the library first.

"I guess I'll start with the control first," Oak said out loud before zoning back into the battle and focusing his eyes on his Koffing. "Ok Koffing, great round. Now you just need to focus on controlling your body a little more. Speed comes with each round, so if you can start off with the speed you just showed, but control it than we will be in good position," Oak said. He was beginning to feel like he was repeating himself, but he wasn't going to let it stop him. "Koffing, catapult yourself once again, but this time instead of focusing on the speed, you can focus on the control. If you have to, feel free to knock off a little bit of speed to gain more control of your body!" Oak commanded out to his meteorite Pokémon.

Still continuing your training in the midst of battle. Roll out was a very difficult move to try and teach, trust me I know, but this is a fairly good start. With Speed down pact control was needed next and then the combination of the two being the very last and hardest to teach.

Koffing could barely decipher what you were saying. The speed from the previous Rollout was a little too much for him to handle at his current level and with no knowledge on control things were just going to get worse. The wild Doduo was starting to show signs of boredom and fatigue as the Poison was slowly working its toxic magic on the two headed bird.

Koffing slowly reran the battle plans in his head, which wasn't to hard. They were the exact same orders with a twist to learn control. So launching himself high into the air and aiming for the twin bird as it was bickering with itself, Koffing catapulted itself as you said and fell short of its target. Starting a slow spin on landing, Koffing slowly rolled his way towards the bird. I mean painfully slow. It didn't really look like rolling at all until he started to pick up speed and it didn't take 15 seconds to go from his face to his back.

Doduo didn't feel like waiting for the Koffing to make its way close enough to make contact, so instead it simply walked a bit to the side and started to walk towards your Koffing before aiming a well places kick that threw the Koffing from its attack and into the air. Learning new attacks were not good in battles, as you just saw. Especially attacks like Rollout that require extra focus to use. Maybe it would be best to hold off until you can get some undisturbed time before you try to finish the attack...or you can continue now.

“Oh man,” Oak gasped as he saw his Koffing go flying through the air. Perhaps was time for him to try a new approach in this battle, one that didn’t include teaching Rollout. Oak began to jog over to Koffing, in an attempt to more closely examine his friend. It didn’t take a scientist to see that Koffing was taking a beating, and a huge one at that. He wasn’t out just yet, but who knew how much more he could take.

Oak looked over at the strange Pokémon he was battling and then back to his Koffing. Kneeling down, he grabbed two pokeballs off of his belt, one of which contained Sudowoodo, the pokemon he had been thinking of using this whole time. “Thanks Koffing, but I can’t let you get anymore hurt,” Oak said as he held out one of the spheres with his left hand, recalling his Koffing. Turning his head, he threw the other ball a few feet away from him, and called out his newest addition, a strange tree looking Pokémon.

“Hey Sudowoodo, my name is Oak,” Oak said smiling. “Anyways, I would love to get to know you more, but we are in a bit of a predicament. You see that giant bird over there is trying to kill us and possibly eat us. We need your help,” Oak stated to strange Pokémon. Figuring he had already probably wasted way too much time, Oak decided he better act fast, before the bird did have them all for lunch.

“Ok Sudo, let start this off with a Focus, to focus your attack. Next, use a Rock Throw on the Doduo,” Oak shouted pointing in the direction of the twin-headed bird. He knew that if the Rock Throw landed, the type advantage would put him in a great position to end this within the next few rounds. He just needed Sudowoodo to land it.

Waiting until later to teach Rollout is a good move. Switching Koffing out for Sudowoodo is an even better move. The rock type will have a much easier time beating this bird than the dizzy poison ball thing. He looked around, unfamiliar with his new surroundings, noticing you as his new master. He looked at you with curiosity, unaware of the bird about to attack him. The mother Doduo rammed into the rocky tree with a Quick Attack. Sudowoodo looked at her in anger. She'd ruined his tranquil observance of the area! She must pay!

He Focused on his power, feeling the strength pour through him. He wanted to hurt this be-otch bad. He picked up a rock from seemingly nowhere (seriously, where do they get rocks to throw out of nowhere?) and lobbed it pretty hard at the Doduo. Seeing the deadly rock flying towards it, the Doduo's two heads were filled with fear. Rocks must've cause some bad repressed memories to flood back into her head, because she was freaking out. One head went right, the other left. This didn't end too well for her, since she didn't really move and let the rock clunk down on her. Direct hit! Sudowoodo looked pleased with himself for dealing so much damage.

Doduo recovered after a moment, and was pissed. She ran at Sudowoodo and gave a sharp Peck. The rock tree's happiness was again ruined by this menacing bird! Now it's personal. Sudowoodo got into a battle stance, eyeing the bird very carefully. He awaited his next orders. He may not know you very well, but he knew you well enough to know that you had a common enemy: the bird. This could be a good bonding experience for you and your new Pokemon...so long as you don't lose.

"Yeah!" Oak shouted at the strength of his newest Pokemon. I guess sometimes gambling did pay off, considering that he got Sudowoodo from the Zaroff Weekly Lottery. Something in this battle was finally going Oak's way, he just hoped it'd stay this way. After all, with one more Rock Throw, Doduo should be done for. He just had to figure out how to get it off without Doduo knowing whats coming.

As Oak began to ponder up a plan to successfully end the battle, he remembered the injured beautiful girl which was laying beside him. Her leg really did look messed up. If he didn't get her to the Pokemon Center quick, there may be no fixing it. Boy did Oak get himself in a situation this time. "Just hang in there Bella, I am going to try to end this right now," Oak said clinching at the pain the young girl was most likely in.

Turn back to the battle, Oak figured out that maybe if he intimidated the bird first, Sudowoodo could have an opening for his Rock Throw. It always seemed that if you tried two moves back to back it had more of a chance of failing anyway. But maybe that was just Oak's superstition. Either way, it was time to go on the offensive. "Sudowoodo. Let end this ok buddy?" Oak shouted with a smile. "Use intimidate on Doduo, and then when she is distracted hit her with one more Rock Throw. That should do it!"

Your philosophy about using the same move twice sounded legit, but was it? Either way, you've come up with a new plan so let’s see how it works out for you.

By now, Doduo was very pissed. The angry twin-headed bird looked at your equally-angered Sudowoodo, and then to you, and then down at Bella whom was now ready to jus die from the pain in her leg. As the Doduo's heads made its way back up to look at Sudowoodo, the strange Pokémon met one of the heads with a strange look. Next, the Pokémon began making strange noises and motions. This was Sudowoodo's version on intimidation.

One of the heads on the Doduo flinched back, but the other wasn't fazed. Honestly, did you really think you could intimidate a mother? Now more angered at your poor attempt to scare her, the Doduo began racing off and very fast speeds, before crashing into Sudowoodo with a Quick Attack. It seemed that you were the one that was distracted. With small growl, by the bird, Sudowoodo's attack was decreased.

As Sudowoodo recovered from the Quick Attack and growl, he was still ready to try his Rock Throw. The Pokémon began making more noises, as if trying to do another Intimidate, until he reached out and launched a large rock onto the twin headed Pokémon. The attack was successful, and Doduo hit the ground in defeat!

Well, Doduo is out cold, so if you want you could catch her. But whatever decision you make, you better help your friend out. Her leg is getting worse and the pain is unbearable.

"Finally!" Oak shouted as the large rock fell right on Doduo, knocking it out. Oak was so relieved that the battle was over. For some reason, he noticed that it took a lot longer than it should have, most likely from him trying to teach his Koffing Rollout in the beginning. But that didn't matter anymore, because the battle was over and the Doduo would soon be his. Hopefully anyway.

Oak looked down at the beautiful Bella that he could now take to the pokemon center to get some now needed rest. "Alright Bella, lets get you help now,"Oak said with a smile, hoping that she wasn't already half dead from loss of blood or extreme pain. "First though," Oak said as he took off his last unused pokeball from his belt.

Oak reached back and flung the pokeball at the Doduo. If all went well, the Doduo would be his with no extra fight, considering that it was KOed. Besides, he wasn't even sure he could take another battle. Not only did Bella need a pokemon center, but so did he.

Oak kneeled down and threw Bella's arm over his shoulder before raising back up. "Sudowoodo, assuming Doduo gets caught, could you please grab the pokeball and follow me to the pokemon center," Oak said trying to guide Bella to the pokemon center.

Doduo was conquered and you wasted no time aiding the beautiful girl lying in pain beside you. Muttering words to her that you will now get her help did nothing to make her feel better, but instead she was disappointed that the battle took so long. Although she was disappointed and in pain, she couldn't help but feel somewhat thankful for you, after all you were her only hope. "Thank you," she said flinching at the pain she was still feeling.

Almost forgetting, you put the girls’ pain on hold for one more second to toss a white and red sphere at the KOed Doduo. With no energy left, Doduo was basically a for sure catch. You watched another second or two until the ball stopped and DINGed to insure your capture. You commanded Sudowoodo to grab the pokeball for you, and you rose back up to walk the girl to the Pokémon Center that wasn't too far away.

:doduo was caught! Added to your Profile.

The red roof of the building could be seen in the distance and boy were you lucky it wasn't any further. I bet if you were any smaller that you may not have been able to carry Bella like you were doing, even with her being small in stature. As you fought your way to the Pokémon center with her immobilized body around yours, she couldn't help but laugh even with the pain.

"I can't believe I just met you and you are already going to take care of me," Bella couldn't help but laugh. She must have forgotten that it was basically your fault this happened, considering that you stepped all over the eggs. Either way, you made it to the Pokémon Center.

"Oh my!" Nurse Joy said as she ran around from behind her counter to meet you and your crippled girl. A Chansey followed closely behind wheeling one of those beds on wheels thing. (I don’t know the actual word). The nurse and Chansey placed the girl carefully on the device and wheeled her to the back. "Due to our privacy laws, you'll have to come back later to check on her," The nurse said before disappearing behind doors leading the back of the building.

Well, you made it and it seems that Bella is going to be ok. However, you can't be in the back with her, so it seems like you have some free time. Assuming you were wanting to check back up on her, that is. Obviously you’re going to heal your Pokémon, but what happens next?

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Event Ref

With your free time away from your potential journey partner and possibly even more if you know what I mean, you decided to walk out of the center after healing your pokemon. What were you going to do now that you were on your own again? You could always just leave her, I mean she wasn't your girlfriend or anything. Yet anyway.

As you stepped out of the doors, you were met by spinning blades of a helicopter and a guy shouting out to you. "Oak. Are you Oak, the Pokemon Trainer?" he asked. You shook your head and he began yelling at you some more, telling you that you were needed and to step up into the helicopter. Deciding, why not? you decided to accept and jumped up into the chopper.

"There is a healing machine and PC. We will be there in a few minutes," the man said before turning back to the pilot and speaking to him low enough to where you could make out what he was saying. You sat back on a strange chair-like thing but after about two minutes the man turned back to you and explained that you would fighting off a strange beast that was threatening to attack Nogou village. Looking down you saw that he wasn't kidding.

:genbul

Quickly he handed you a parachute and told you to jump. Crossing your fingers and hoping you didn't land in the thing's mouth, you jumped.

---------------

Congratulations! You helped defeat Genbu and now its time to get you back to your journey. You climbed back into the helicopter and were instinatly met by clapping hands and hugs. The pilot, the man, and some woman with a camera all congratulated you. The man with the microphone from before that was yelling at you, also handed you a basket of goodies.

As you jumped back off the plane, you realized that you were right back in front of the pokemon center. Well, maybe check on Bella? Or continue alone, it's up to you.

Oak landed safely to the ground from the plane and looked around to find that he was right back where he started. Oak tucked away all of his earnings from the Great Genbu battle and took a few steps toward the pokemon center doors before stopping. "Maybe this would be a good time for some Move Teaching," Oak said to himself, remembering that he never completed Koffing's Rollout.

He gazed around making sure that he had enough room to operate with and then looked down into his backpack. He dropped down to a knee and fumbled through his bag until he had all six pokeballs lying next to him on the ground. Oak zipped his bag back up, put it on his back and stood up with all six pokeballs in his hand. One by one, he tossed the pokeballs until Koffing, Starly, Pineco, Sudowoodo, Seedot, and Doduo were all standing in front of him wondering why they were all being called upon.

"I'm going to teach you guys some moves!" Oak said excitingly to all of his pokemon. He was hoping that they were all just excited as he was, even if this was about to be a lot harder than he had hoped. With his six pokemon in front of him, Oak directed them into 3 seperate groups to work with them. "Koffing, Pineco, and Sudowoodo, you guys all come over here to the right," Oak said pointing to a place over on the right side. "Now Doduo, you go with Seedot over to the left," He said directing the acorn and the bird. "Starly, you will be your own group," Oak said as he moved the tiny bird in the center by itself.

"First off will be Koffing and Sudowoodo. Pineco, watch carefully because your attack will be similar," Oak said before turning to give Koffing and Sudowoodo all of his attention.

Koffing & Sudowoodo - Rollout
(Koffing is already at a 45% Learning Curve from earlier)

"Koffing you already have the basis down, so now that you are full power and high leveled it should be easier for you. You are going to begin spinning forward like before. Shoot out bits of gas to help your speed, but stay at a speed where you can still manage yourself at. When you are at comfortable speed, you shoot forward like a tackle while still rolling," Oak said before looking over at Sudowoodo.

"Sudowoodo, you will be learning the same move, so if you need to watch Koffing first to get a better idea of how it's done. Yours is going to start way differently though. You are going to get a running start and then when you get your speed at a comfortable area, you will curl up into a ball and finish it with what is like a Strike attack," Oak said before turning to the final pokemon in the group, Pineco.

Pineco - Rapid Spin

"Pineco, you move is Rapid Spin. It's similar to rollout, but instead of rolling forward you will just spin around on your tip and finish into what is like a tackle attack when you hit the target," Oak said. He figured that this would be the easiest to teach.

Seedot - Quick Attack

Oak went over to Doduo and Seedot and looked at his Doduo for a moment before deciding how to go about teaching Quick Attack to Seedot. "Doduo, use Quick Attack twice to show Seedot how it's done. Seedot watch carefully," Oak said hoping that this would make it easier for the acorn-like pokemon. "Now try it on your own Seedot. Focus your Speed up and then run as fast as you can and crash into your opponent like Doduo did," Oak said before turning to Starly whom was all alone.

Starly - Sand Attack

"Your move is easy Starly, it's Sand Attack. Basically all you do is kick up dirt or sand into the face of your opponent. I know you can kick dirt, anyone can so basically we just need to work on how much to kick and the direction. Just work on kicking enough to blind the opponent and kick straight in front of you," Oak said hoping he explained it good enough.

Move Tutoring, eh? Rollout to two, Rapid Spin, Quick Attack, and Sand-Attack. Quick Attack was an Egg Move, so it'd take a little more to learn then the rest. Koffing was ready to finish Rollout. He started spinning in the air a little, seemingly doing great this time. He was spitting a bit of gas out to help his speed. Hmm, it's like a wheel of a motorcycle! He then shot off, rolling almost perfectly. Would he get it? It seemed he was doing good. But. . . What would he do next? Trying to turn around, two things happened. One, if he wasn't a round ball shape, he would've toppled over. Two, he kept rolling and he almost hit Sudowoodo!

He didn't know how to stop. He hadn't perfected turning either, as when he turned to avoid Sudowoodo, his round shape made him turn the wrong way and he ran right into a tree. Aww. Well, he was almost done, Koffing just had a few kinks to work out. Otherwise, he could know Rollout, yay! Anyway, now it's time to see the efforts of Sudowoodo on Rollout, yes? You told him to get a running start, and when he was at a comfortable speed, curl up into a ball and use what is essentially a Strike attack.

Now. . . I see a major flaw with that. You will see in a minute. Sudowoodo did as you said, who was also glad that Koffing didn't hit him. Would that happen to him too? Sudowoodo thought this as he prepared. Who knows. Anyway, Sudowoodo started in a run, getting to a speed that was a little fast, but he could manage. You then told him to curl into a ball? This is the problem. I don't think they can do that. I'm not sure how they'd use Rollout, even. Maybe just roll on their side like a log? I'm not sure. I'm sure Sudowoodo aren't that flexible though. Anyway, as I was saying.

Sudowoodo tried to curl into a ball. Instead, he kind of did a flip in the air and landed on his back. Oh well, not much progress there.

Rapid Spin is next. It might be the easiest to learn, but maybe that would be Sand-Attack. Pineco got ready, and started spinning around. It seemed to be working a little, but it wasn't getting enough speed. And it was moving around un-controllably. Pineco was spinning around, and ran into another tree. Rapid Spin was going okay, but it would be a good idea to teach the pine cone how to stay still when spinning.

It's Starly and Sand-Attack time. It was simple enough, Sand-Attack. Starly was ready. "Starr!" It chirped, as it hovered slightly over the ground. Starly started kicking up dirt, kicking in front of him. Once he was done, Starly looked at you. He had made a little hole in the ground, and had kicked dirt around in front of him. I think this would be easier with a target. Not necessarily a person or eyes, but at least something for Starly to aim for. That, and actually explain how much enough dirt is.

Now for Seedot. She watched Doduo do it, as the bird ran at fast speeds around, running into a tree. Of course, it was on purpose, as Doduo had picked the tree as it's target. It demonstrated again, doing it one more time. Focusing on speed, Seedot concentrated. Then, it ran forward, going a bit faster. Her target was a tree. Tikvah had slammed into the tree, yes. However, the tree didn't shake or move or anything. Seedot had got the movement right, but not the force. Otherwise, it was good.

Oak took a few steps back as he watched his pokemon one by one try to complete their attacks. As he watched, he remembered something and reached down into his bag. He pulled out out a strange item, one that looked like a strange arrow in a way. It was a Poison Barb. He held the item, waiting for Koffing to get done trying his Rollout, so he could attach it to him, and raise his poison stat. Next he looked down at his Poketech for a minute or two and punched in some numbers for the Weekly Lottery. It was his week to win, he knew it.

Looking up at Koffing, who was first to try out his move, he watched as Koffing was looking a lot better than when he first tried in the battle with Doduo. He just needed to work on turning and stopping. Next was Sudowoodo, who completely blew it at learning Rollout. "Ouch!" Oak said while watching Sudowoodo. Honestly, he probably was done trying to teach Sudowoodo. Following the two Rollouts was Pineco with Rapid Spin. It didn't look too bad, just needed a little more speed and a lot more balance. Starly and Seedot was next with Sand and Quick Attack. Starly's sand attack would have been close to perfect if Oak would have explained a little more, and have a better target. Seedot on the other hand just needed more practice and a little more force.

After everyone was done, Oak decided it was time for round two. He began making estimations of how long it should take to master the four moves, and started to think up plans of how to go about teaching them further. Before however, he adressed Sudowoodo. "Sudowoodo, you didn't do anything wrong, but considering you have good defense I need you to help Starly and give him a target to work with. Please," Oak said to Sudowoodo and directing him over to Starly. With that taken care of, it was time to continue teaching.

Koffing - Rollout
(70%)

Oak now knew what he needed to work on and was ready to help Koffing master Rollout. His speed and form was fine, he just needed to learn to turn and stop. "Ok Koffing, just like last time but we are going to attempt to turn and switch directions. How you do this, is when you are rolling you just kind of shift your weight to the direction you want to turn, and you roll that way. It will feel weird this time, but it will come natural the more we practice," Oak said as he tried to think of how to explain stopping. "Once you are done with the move, you start slowing down, until you can manage to completely stop. Now, let's see if we can finish this. Just focus on Turning and Stopping," Oak said before turning to Pineco.

Pineco - Rapid Spin
(35%)

Oak zoned out for a moment as he played the perfect version of a Rapid Spin in his mind. Pineco's shape should help make it easier for him to master, all he needed was more focus, and maybe a better teacher. "We just need a little more speed and some balance Pineco and the move is yours," Oak said with an encouraging smile. "Pineco, you are the perfect shape for this move. For this round, focus more on balance than speed. If you have balance, speed will come easy," Oak grinned. "You bottom tip is great for balancing on. Balance straight on it and begin spinning. Be sure you are balance though. As you spin, try to gradually get faster without losing your balance. If you begin to become off balance, just slow down. That'll be good enough for now," Oak said.

Starly - Sand Attack
(40%)

Oak turned to face his little Starly. Sand Attack is one of the most basic moves, but you never really know how hard it is until you try to tutor it and explain it. Sudowoodo was now standing across from Starly, which made Oak very happy, knowing that Sudowoodo was willing to take a hit to help out Starly. "Sudo, be sure to keep your eyes closed," he said before turning to Starly with his next directions. "Starly, you have the basic concept down, so now lets finish this. You want to kick enough sand/dirt to blur the vision of Sudowoodo with just one kick. Aim for his eyes," Oak stated.

Seedot - Quick Attack
(50%)

Now was time for Oak's final pokemon of this round. Seedot had the move down great, he just needed to use more force this time round. "Doduo, show Seedot once more," Oak said to his Doduo. After Doduo did her Quick Attack, Oak turned to Seedot to give his final commands for the move. "Seedot, your speed is up, so now focus your attack. Next do exactly as you did last time, just try to gain a little more speed. Once you are close enough to crash into your target, just use a little more force than the last time," Oak said taking a step back to watch his pokemon.

Ugh…alright, may as well get this ref started.

Right, first up, your Sudowoodo looked at you and trudged over to Starly, not particularly liking the fact you wanted it to be a target for one of your other Pokemon. What was it? Just some training dummy for you to abuse? Either way, bad things were going to happen sometime down the line; karma is karma after all.

Alright, first up is Koffing. After hearing your directions, it went to work building up speed and set about doing like it did last time, easing its way into learning how to turn. Next was your Pineco, who listened and gave a hearty cry before setting towards getting balanced. So far so good, Pineco began to spin and it was gradually gaining speed. Starly waited for its turn, noticing Sudowoodo was now standing across from him, awaiting the next part. A single kick to blind an opponent? Sounds all too easy, so Starly mentally prepared himself as you went on to explain to Seedot what to do next. Doduo performed, and now all Seedot had to do was copy, applying a little more force to make up the lack of mastery.

And so, things unfolded.

Koffing was going well, slowly getting the hang of turning just fine. But it was here where things went downhill. Sudowoodo didn’t like being a target of attacks at all. Who could blame it, being singled out (For a logical reason or no), to be the target of one of your other Pokemon. You, in Sudowoodo’s eyes, were creating a hierarchy within your team, and in Sudowoodo’s mind, it was being placed at the bottom. So, what did it do? Well, Sudowoodo responded to the Sand-Attack attempt by using Rock Throw, startling Starly and making it jolt to the side, right into the path of Koffing.

Koffing learned what it was like to stop, if only because of Koffing knocking down Starly. As if the beating couldn’t get any worse, Seedot used Quick Attack right as Starlet fell, and those two collided as well. Sudowoodo huffed and turned his nose up at what he had caused and turned away, folding his tree-arms and sitting down nearby for a break. Seedot was concerned about Starly who seemed to take a few hits, and get no where with his tutor. Oh, but Pineco was doing fine, contentedly spinning there and getting the balance down gradually; he was coming along well.

Rollout Learning Curve(Koffing): 90%
Rapid Spin Learning Curve(Pineco): 55%
Sand Attack Learning Curve(Starly): 40%
Quick Attack Learning Curve(Seedot): 65%

Guess karma gets repaid faster than what we expect, huh?

Oak stood still ready for his tutoring to unfold. Folding his arms and staring hopefully at all of his pokemon, he felt better about himself as his progress was getting closer to becoming done. That's what he thought anyway. Just as everything began to start, Oak looked over to see the disgusted look in his Sudowoodo's eyes. Knowing this couldn't turn out good, Oak reached for Sudo's pokeball, but it was too late.

With a lot of determination from his pokemon and a few rocks from a disgruntled Sudowoodo, almost all of Oak's Pokemon ended up in a pile with barely any progress. The only one that seemed to get anything accomplished was his Pineco that managed to stay away from all of the madness.

"Sudowoodo, what are you doing!?" Oak called out in anger and disbelief. Never had one of his pokemon gone completely against him. "I wasn't punishing you, I just knew that you were strong enough to take a hit!" Oak shouted not knowing what to do. "If you can't learn to be a part of this team, than you won't be!" Oak finished holding out Sudowoodo's pokeball, ready to return him if he attempted another tactic like before.

As Oak's pokemon returned to their learning stations, Oak took a deep breath and readied himself to continue his training and try his very best to explain the attacks as best as he could. First up was Koffing, who was very close to finishing.

Koffing - Rollout
(90%)

Despite learning how to stop by crashing into his own teammate, Koffing was just about finished with learning his first tutored attack. Oak finally found a small smile after all of the madness, after he started thinking about how close he was to successfully tutoring his very first move. "Koffing, you are doing so great," Oak said with a smile. "All you need now is to learn how to change directions. As you use your rollout, try shifting to the right, and then back to the left. Once you turn a few times, stop and go back through it once more so it feels more natural," Oak finished turning to Pineco.

Pineco - Rapid Spin
(55%)

"Way to stay out of all of that Pineco and focus on your attack, I can tell you are really trying hard and that means a lot to me," Oak stated. "Now Pineco, same as last round, just try to spin a little faster this time. Remember, balance is the key to speed. If you can get the balance and speed down this round, next round we can work on the damage part of the move next round and finish soon,"

Starly - Sand Attack
(40%)

Turning to Starly, Oak felt bad for everything that just happened to the poor bird. "Sorry Starly, I have no idea what got into Sudowoodo. Just try to work through the pain please, I promise I will get you healed right after this," Oak said feeling very bad for his small bird pokemon. "Just same as before, remember everything from the last round. Kick up enough dirt to blind the opponent with one kick," Oak said turning to his final pokemon, Seedot whom was standing with Doduo.

Seedot - Quick Attack
(65%)

"Seedot, same as last time. Focus on using a little more strength when you crash into the target. If you gain a bit more speed it will set you up for a good finishing blow. You can do this, I know you can," Oak said before taking a deep breath hoping this round was different than the last.

Looking down at his Poketech, he realized that the last round wasn't all bad. He had won another rare pokemon from the Lottery, this time an Unown. "I wonder how many trainer's have this pokemon," Oak said wishing his pokemon didn't have to go to the PC. Grateful for his luck, he typed in a few more numbers buying 5 more tickets.

If it could be described in a metaphorical way…Well, I’m probably going to fail at that but…Koffing learning Rollout was in somewhat of a correlation with Mario Kart. How you may ask? Well, imagine it. First, there are the lights signalling the start of the race, in which people usually rev up. This was your commands to Koffing, psyching himself up for the final stage in his tutoring. As soon as the signal to start was given, off Koffing went, spinning rapidly and rolling about; I don’t really get how it could considering it floats in midair, but that’s not really important. So off it went, spinning and like you said, shifted its weight slowly to the left, finding that turning was much like drifting in Mario Kart; easy once mastered, and allows for precise shifts in direction without losing speed. Koffing went about and soon enough was going around in circles, thoroughly enjoying the newly tutored move.

Rollout Learning Curve(Koffing): 100%! – Rollout Learned!

Lesson number 2, assuming the Mario Kart thing was the first lesson. Rapid Spin could be compared to say a ballerina practising how to spin. Spinning fast, in place, without getting dizzy; granted, this works a little differently for Pokemon however it was a start considering where you were up to with your tutoring. Building on what was learned last round, which was pretty much the speed of the move, now it was time for the balance. As such, Pineco went about spinning itself as fast as it could, gaining momentum but only spinning as fast as it could while maintaining its balance. Soon enough, it was remaining fairly stable while it spun, but there was also the issue about damage, which from my understanding is what you’re working on next. Awesome.

Rapid Spin Learning Curve(Pineco): 75% - Speed and Balance Mastered

Lesson 3, well…Yeah. Okay, looking back on last time, Starly didn’t get anything at all done last time because of Sudowoodo, but that was over and let’s see how well this progresses now. Struggling against the pain, Starly flapped its wings and kicked up sand, although the quantity was there now, the accuracy was lacking. Chances were, if Starly were to use this in battle, it would act more like an area of effect attack. While that may sound good, it wasn’t if Starly and your other Pokemon suffered from sand in the eyes also. Landing awkwardly, Starly tried it again, managing only the same until it reached the correct amount for the attack, but by this stage you were already giving orders to Seedot.

Sand Attack Learning Curve(Starly): 65%

Speak of the devil, or rather acorn. You gave your orders, and the little seed sucked them up like nutrients. Speed and power? Easy. Focusing first and readying in mimicking what it did last round, Seedot pushed off the ground and sped forward, crashing into its pretend target and hopping back into position. It tried it again after your Doduo gave another example, and pretty much got the hang of it. It needed to be refined so that the movement was in one fluid motion, but that was pretty much it, and should be down pat by next round anyway.

Quick Attack Learning Curve(Seedot): 85%

SUDDENLY, as if this wasn't some elaborately planned edit to save the day, a loud whistling was heard from above, followed by the rock landing nearby. Importance? Well, you got an announcement over the PokeTech that essentially means you can trade this in for a Pokemon in the Meteoric Plains. It was definately safe to pick up, and it seemed to give off small tendrils of cool-ish smoke. Ah well, up to you if you picked it up or not. Heck, your Pokemon may even be a little spooked; let's just hope it doesn't interfere with your tutoring.
