Well, Kijutsu city, your long time home. Not to mention the crime capital of Alternia. Since you are a resident, I really don't have to go into all the long winded details, describing the grime, crime, and filth that is Kijutsu. You should just consider yourself lucky to have grown up on the good side of town, even if it isn't much better. Regardless how bad it is, you want to eventually try and clean it up, right? To be honest, that will take quite a bit of work.

I mean, just looking down the alleys and side streets, you can see all sorts of bums and trash scattered about. There is even a low hanging smog cloud, just ready to give someone an allergy attack. This place could use some real TLC. Just then, as you are walking along one of the more "main" streets, you step in some sort of goo. Oh, well, that's just great, but it gets better. The goo starts moving and working its way up your leg. It looks to be coming from the sewage drain, but what could it be. Then, you see eyes surface, along with a mouth. It looks like the filth is trying to attack you. Well, will you take it on, one pile of goo at a time?

When he woke up that morning, Shiro was absolutely ready to head out on his quest. Things were looking up. He had never hoped in a million years to be able to find a Tangela egg, even better yet, the egg of his mother's Tangrowth, amongst the rubble of his old home. And, Officer Takahashi set him up with some Poke Balls and a brand new Poketch so he could set out on a journey of his own.

After a great farewell breakfast and a tearful goodbye from Miko, Officer Takahashi's daughter, Shiro set out onto the streets of Kijutsu, not really knowing where to start. The first thing he did was release Matsuri, who squealed happily and shot some vines around Shiro's arm so he could sit on Shiro's shoulder, which the young boy had no issue with. After that, he bought three weekly lottery tickets, which he had always longed to do but couldn't, on his Poketch by looking up the Zaroff Weekly Lottery. He chose the following tickets: [04, 29, 22, 15, 13], [19, 02, 25, 26, 01], and [14, 18, 17, 06, 20]. $75 was subtracted from his account, and he anxiously waited for the results.

However, just as Shiro was about to set out towards downtown Kijutsu, where he knew there to be a lot of Pokemon, he stepped in some goo. Not just any goo, but purple, sticky, moving goo that began to crawl up his leg. "That can't be good," Shiro commented lightly, scanning the goo with his Poketch, "I bet it's a Grimer." Sure enough, his Poketch told him that the goo was a male Grimer, at Level 5. "I might as well battle it," Shiro said to Matsuri, "Grimer evolve into Muk, which can be very powerful. Matsuri, are you up for it? You're at a slight disadvantage." Matsuri squealed and saluted Shiro, who laughed and said, "Well, let's get to it." Shiro wrenched his leg away from the Grimer and leapt back a few paces. "Matsuri, I want you to Focus as much as possible on Attack, then use Constrict as hard as possible." Matsuri squealed an affirmative "Tan! Tangela!" and leapt off of Shiro's shoulder to get ready to battle.

Ah, your first attempt to purge the city of unwanted scum. In this case, it was literal scum, so all the more fun, right? You and Matsuri prepared for battle, your words ringing out and Matsuri's squeals of delight boosting your morale. Your first commands: Focus and Constrict. Simple enough. Matsuri focused her gaze very steadily onto the Grimer, who sloshed about in place still as it tryed to gather itself for defense.

Matsuri then slung out a couple of vines, which easily wrapped around the Grimer. From there, he squeezed the vines as hard as he could, which would ensure death to any average bodied creature. However, as the grip became tighter, the vines seemed to sink into the Grimer's icky flesh. The pile of slop was actually absorbing the vines! The Grimer smiled mischievously. If you didn't do something quick, there might not be much of Matsuri left to cuddle :(

Oh but wait!~ Matsuri wasn't going to wait for you to order it to stop, because really, Pokémon have brains too. Using even more of his strength he managed to rip his vines from Grimer, and withdraw them back into the rest of it's tangley body. The surprise on your face was just as evident as the surprise on the Grimer's face, and in retaliation the Grimer threw itself at Matsuri, pounding it with less than righteous fury.

Matsuri closed his eyes for a few seconds, Focusing his energy to raise his Attack. He was soon ready to fight, and Matsuri shot a few vines at the Grimer. For a second, Shiro thought it worked, as the vines quickly wound around the Grimer and began to squeeze. However, it was too good to be true, and the vines began to sink into the slimy mass of Grimer's body. "Oh, shoot. Matsuri, get out of there!" Shiro hissed under his breath. He was sure Matsuri couldn't hear him, but the Tangela squealed and began to pull back on his vines. To the surprise of both Shiro and Grimer, the vines began to reemerge out of the Grimer's body, and Matsuri reeled them back to his main body.

Shiro smiled grimly and said, "Well, that wasn't my smartest idea ever. Sorry about that, Matsuri." The courageous Tangela at his side squealed, waving a vine like a human would wave off a small mistake, and looked defiant, ready for his next order. The Grimer immediately began to slither towards Matsuri, however, and soon enough, the purple glob of goo was wailing away at Shiro's young friend. Even with its courageousness, Matsuri was still very young, and it wasn't going to last long against the barrage.

"Okay, I need a plan...need a plan...that's it!" Shiro said suddenly as an idea popped into his head. He looked around at the makeshift 'battlefield' and saw a bunch of things that could be used as weapons. "Matsuri, I need to you to try to release a Sleep Powder!" Shiro was banking on the fact that the Grimer was so close to Matsuri that it wouldn't be able to dodge a cloud of powder blasted right into its face. "After that, if it works, wrap your vines around some of these trash cans and slam them down on top of Grimer! If the Powder doesn't work, then try to intimidate (GAL) the Grimer to get it to stop!" Matsuri squealed slightly, though Shiro wasn't sure if it was a confirmation or a gasp of pain. Thinking of one last thing, he shouted, "And make sure to watch out for a Poison Gas attack! It's a possibility!" He crossed his fingers and hoped for the best.

This is NOT a pic of me.
Well, so your making the rash move of putting Grimer to sleep are you? I like you, man, you act like me. Well, so just as you said... the vines were'nt all too wonderful. So lets take a look-see at weather your sleep powder worked shall we? Tangela spewed out the sleep powder. Grimer... sorry to say this. Grimer ATE the sleep powder. Sure, it made the sludge ball drowsy, but not fully asleep. Tangela, even without orders decided this was the time to strike. Tangela hit the grimer hard with a slap of a vine. Grimer roared in agony as tangela contiued giving it a face-spank if there is such thing. Grimer was now about ready for revenge on tangela.

Grimer charged up its sludge... when it suddenly can to a stop. It looked at you and tangela in terror. Grimer looked in all directions and stormed of as fast as it could. Of course, it didn't leave without giving you a dirty finger sign. Wow, did your teeny little tangela scare off a grimer by whacking it in the face? Grimer are far more brave than that... and Matsuri seemed to know that. Puzzled, your pokemon peered around, looking for what made Grimer go chicken. As if God wanted to answer tangela's question, a flapping sound came from over head. Then. in a flash the smog was whirled away, and down came a male, terretorial Gligar. This Gligar was afr stronger than Grimer, which is why the ball of filth had run off. The Gliger glared at you both and began to fight.

What are you gonna do in this situation? Seeing how this gligar had such powerful wing that apperently could clear smoke... I could help you clean the city up. But! Rmember how strong it is and don't do anything stupid.

Matsuri managed to gain an opening and blasted Grimer full on with a Sleep Powder attack. Unfortunately, the Grimer...ate the attack. Shiro nearly faceplanted when he saw that and muttered, "That's really lame...really, really lame..." However, the Grimer's snack break turned into an opportunity for Matsuri to attack. The Sleep Powder, while not fully sending Grimer to dream land, did make it a little drowsy, and that was all Shiro's Tangela needed to start back on the offensive. 'That sure is a smart Pokemon,' Shiro thought proudly. Matsuri extended a whip and, for lack of a better expression, began to face-spank (Geo gets the credit for that one, lol) the Grimer. This time, the vines were actually able to do some damage, as Grimer began to roar in agony. However, that also managed to dispel the drowsiness caused by the Sleep Powder, and the purple pile of goo was about ready to attack again.

However, that was not to be. A loud screech rang out from somewhere nearby, and Grimer froze midway through preparing for what looked like a Sludge attack. Shiro noted that, thinking that Pokemon would be an excellent addition to his team, knowing a Level 20 attack at Level 5. However, it was not to be. Grimer looked around in all directions with...was it fear?...and squished away as fast as possible, flipping Shiro and Matsuri the bird on the way out. Both Shiro and Matsuri were curious as to why the seemingly powerful and proud Pokemon would be spooked away, and both trainer and Pokemon looked around to see if they could find the source of the screeching noise.

They didn't have to wait long, as a Gligar came swooping down out of the sky. The smog created by the Grimer's mere presense was whisked away by a sudden breeze, and Shiro realized that the Gligar must have blown it away, showing its powerful wings off in a display of power. The trainer pointed his Poketch at the batlike Pokemon and scanned it, and the Poketch returned back that the Pokemon was at Level 9, a possibly dangerous challenge for little Matsuri. Without warning, the Gligar swooped down and dived towards the Tangela, readying an attack. Thinking fast, Shiro shouted, "Okay, Matsuri, run over near those garbage cans and do what we had planned for that Grimer! If that works, blast Gligar with a Sleep Powder while it's stunned! If it dodges, then wait until it gets right up next to you, grab it with your vines, and slam it into the ground!" Matsuri squealed an affirmative and ran towards the trashcans. Shiro once again crossed his fingers and hoped for the best.

Hoping wouldn't help you in a battle. The Gligar heard what you muttered to your Pokemon and it automatically put on the air brakes. Guess your plan didn't work. This Pokemon appeared to be pretty smart, you had better be smarter. Matsuri waited, patience was the key here. It was like a patient fisherman waiting to reel in his catch. The Gligar on the other hand wasn't that patient. It wanted fight but it knew the rissks if it charged at the Grass Medusa Pokemon.(See what I did there?) It was a stalemate, each Pokemon staring the other down. The Gligar then had a spark of inspiration. The Gligar Landed and now slowly walked closer and closer to your Pokemon. What was it planning to do?

It was now in range of your Pokemon's Vine Whip. Matsuri was about to attack when the voice of someone could be heard. "STOP!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I saw that Pokemon first its mine!" a boy shouted at you as he ran up behind you. He had Psyduck running behind him. The boy looked about 14 years at most. He came up panting and catching his breath. He didn't seem to be very fit and was actually very fat. " I was about to fight that thing *pant* when it just flew off." he began. He turned to Gligar "You're not getting away this time!" he said. Wow this kid looked like he could faint any moment.

"Alright Psyduck charge in and use scratch!" he said. The Duck started rushing towards the Gligar. It had one hand in the air ready to swipe. The Gligar looked amused as there was no way a little Psyduck could beat him. He just jumped out o the way and instead, Psyduck hit Matsuri and knocked over some trash cans. " Hey Noob, your stupid weed got in the way of my attack!" he said. Matsuri pushed the duck off it and gave it a very angry stare. The duck quickly retreated close to its Trainer, shivering in pure terror. So what now, were you gonna let this guy get away with interrupting your battle or were you gonna do something about it?

'Once again...dumb move...' Shiro thought in disgust, 'I have a LOT to learn as a trainer...' He was referring to the fact that the Gligar had excellent ears (dang it) and heard his plans. Now the bat Pokemon was hovering in midair, staring down Matsuri while the grass medusa (haha, love it) did the same. Shiro assumed correctly that the Gligar knew the risks of getting into battle with the vine enclosed Pokemon. However, he was slightly confused when the bat Pokemon landed and began to slowly walk towards Matsuri, who was also a little confused. However, the Tangela was not distracted by the sudden change of tactics.

Shiro was about to order Matsuri to attempt a Strike (GAL) with a vine (OOC: Tangela doesn't know Vine Whip yet) when a rather fat kid appeared in the alley behind Gligar. He had a Psyduck trailing behind him, breathing almost as heavily as the pudgy kid. "STOP!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I saw that Pokemon first! It's mine!" he shouted angrily in between pants.

Matsuri and Shiro both seemed to have the same thought: 'This kid needs to get out more...'

The kid finally caught his breath momentarily and tried to look defiant, but it was dampered by his red, sweaty face and rolls of fat. He pointed his finger at Shiro and snapped, "I was about to fight that thing *pant* when it just flew off." He looked down at the Gligar, who looked slightly amused, and boomed, "You're not getting away this time!" That was a laughable statement. If the Gligar decided to get playful again and run off, which it had better not do, the kid would probably have a heart attack. The kid kicked at his Psyduck and said, "Alright, Psyduck, charge in and use Scratch!" The Psyduck, who also looked a little on the chubby side, waddled over to the Gligar and reared back for a swipe. Gligar, still with a mischievous look in its eyes, simply sidestepped. Psyduck swiped at mid air, fell down due to momentum, and started to roll, crashing into Matsuri and a couple of trash cans.

Shiro said, "Hey, what was that for?" Matsuri also squealed angrily, waving some vines around threateningly. It knocked the yellow duck back to where it started, and the duck Pokemon began to tremble in fear, as well it should, since Shiro's Tangela was giving it the worst death glare it could.

However, the pudgy kid thought differently and snapped, "Hey, Noob, your stupid weed got in the way of my attack!" Oh, no, he didn't. He just dissed Shiro and Matsuri in one fell swoop, and neither liked it one bit.

Shiro ignored the true noob on the battlefield and whispered, "Matsuri, come here for a second." The green vine enclosed Pokemon obediently ran over to his trainer, squealing repeatedly in righteous fury, as Shiro knelt down to talk. "Okay, okay, tiger, calm down. We'll get back at him in a minute." Matsuri let out a breath and listened to his trainer. "Now, we're going to attempt a new attack. It's called Absorb. Do you think you can pull it off?" Matsuri nodded a few times. "Okay, now, here's what you need to do. I'm gonna abbreviate it since we're time pressed. The first thing you need to do is to feel around inside yourself to find your core. This is essential. Now, try to feel the same thing inside that Psyduck, and when you get a good grasp on it, try to connect your core and its core together, and pull energy away from it and into you. Do you think you can do it?" Matsuri considered the request for a moment and then nodded eagerly, squealing once.

Shiro stood up and looked at the Gligar, who was still looking rather mischievous. He had a plan, but it was risky. However, he thought it would play on the Gligar's apparent fighting nature, so he had a good feeling about it. "Gligar, listen to me for a moment!" he shouted. The purple bat gave him a sideways glance. "I know you like to battle, so I have a proposition for you! You team up with me to beat his Psyduck, and once we win, you can continue your battle with Matsuri that was rudely interrupted. What do you say?" Shiro waited and watched both the Gligar and the pudgy kid, awaiting what would happen next.

The kid grinned. “Alright Psyduck, just like we practiced! Water gun!” he ordered as he slowly caught up to the battle. Psyduck ran back towards his trainer, and gathered water in his mouth, then Gligar looked at you and the kid, undecided whether to join you, or to just flee and let you guys fight amongst yourselves. That was, until he got hit directly with a weak Water Gun. Gligar looked at the Psyduck angrily, and then nodded at you. This kid needed to be taken down a notch. Gligar used harden followed by Focus, raising both his attack and defense. The gloves were off.

The kid looked at the angry Gligar, then at you smiling. “Hey, no fair! That stupid weed can’t help my prey! That isn’t fair!” He said in a weasely voice that could give anyone headache. This guy was not only stupid and insulting, but annoying. At least he was outnumbered…wait. He was pulled out a pokeball, and smiled evilly. “Let’s torch this weed! Go Charmander!” he said with cockiness, releasing the pokeball. The fire lizard popped out of the pokeball happily, and immediately shot an ember at Tangela. Gligar quickly got in the way of the ember, and took the hit, though it wasn’t effective. Woah, he was a team player, that’s for sure.

During all this, you’re little grass buddy was focusing as hard as he could, trying to lock onto the core of Psyduck, but his concentration was ruined by all the orders and the ember. Tangela grunted. Too many distractions, maybe this wasn’t the best time. That and the fact that he learns absorb at level 8. If you win this battle, he’ll learn it. Gligar considered Shiro's offer, but he didn't have much time, as the brat shouted, "Alright, Psyduck, just like we practiced! Water Gun!” The expression on the duck Pokemon's face as it gathered water was very reminiscent of a constipated person's expression. Gligar kept looking back and forth between Shiro and the brat, trying to decide on his next course of action. However, his mind appeared to be made up when Psyduck unleashed (and I use that word lightly) a very small jet of water, which hit Gligar right in the face as he glanced back at the brat and duck.

That seemed to make up the purple bat's mind very quickly, as he glided to Shiro's side and nodded fiercely. He immediately glowed briefly with a slight slimmer sliding over him as he used Harden, and then he used Focus. Shiro assumed it was to raise his attack. This angered the brat, who shouted angrily, “Hey, no fair! That stupid weed can’t help my prey! That isn’t fair!” Matsuri stuck his tongue out between his vines at the brat, and Shiro shrugged noncommittally. Gligar shrieked gleefully, happy to tick off the annoying kid.

Their happiness was not to last for long, however, as the brat pulled out another Poke Ball and chucked it. He shouted evilly, “Let’s torch this weed! Go Charmander!” The ball opened to reveal a Charmander, who actually looked happy. He was obviously better trained than the out-of-shape Psyduck, as he immediately shot an Ember attack at Matsuri. Shiro was about to shout out an order when Gligar intercepted the tiny fireballs, taking a small hit but protecting Matsuri from damage.

"Thanks, Gligar!" Shiro said happily, and Gligar screeched back a "you're welcome" in Gligarese.

Matsuri was attempting to use Absorb this entire time, but the going was not well. He couldn't concentrate much to begin with the loudmouth brat yapping away. It got even worse when the Charmander appeared and began the Ember assault. Its concentration was completely lost, and now it had to concentrate on two opponents instead of one.

“Okay, I’m going to assume you know no egg moves, Gligar, so if you have any, let’s see them now,” Shiro stated. Gligar screeched and flapped around the young man, though never taking his eyes off of the brat and his Pokemon. “We’re going to try a double status assault. Gligar, you whip up a Sand-Attack and follow up with a Poison Sting to both of his Pokemon. Matsuri, you use Constrict to hold both Pokemon in place right before Gligar fires the Poison Sting, and use Sleep Powder at the same time as Gligar’s attack. Can you do that?” Matsuri squealed with righteous fury and waved some vines around. Gligar screeched an affirmative and swooped down to float next to the Tangela. Shiro just hoped that the brat didn’t have anything else up his sleeve, and he also hoped there wouldn’t be any other interruptions. This battle just kept getting bigger by the second, and it was starting to get a tad annoying.

Aww, but what fun would this battle be if the trainer didn't have any wild cards hidden up his sleeve? While you were ordering some pretty fancy team attacks the annoying trainer decided to screw the rules (Don't worry, he probably had money.) and issue a command in the middle of yours! "SMOKESCREEN!" He shouted, the Charmander nodded and a black tar like substance dribbled from it's mouth, quickly turning into smoke as it cooled. "Now, EMBER!" He ordered...... But no, this won't do. As the Charmander charged up the attack you could briefly see the bright orange glow in it's belly through the smoke.... The Gligar decided that NOW was a better chance for attack and unleashed a barrage of needles just as the fire lizard shot a barrage of flames!

The two attacks collided, Only a few stray shots managed to make it through the onslaught. Both giving status ailments to the respective Pokemon. Alright, time to get back into your plan! The Trainer secretly ordered his Psyduck to sneak around the smoke and scratch your Tangala... Bad idea... By now the smoke was starting to clear and the Psyduck was almost perfectly visible. It let out a nasally war cry "PSYYY!" as it charged with it's claw's stretched out... Yeah, needless to say it got owned... The Gligar swooped in front of it and blew some sand in this poor duck's face, The Pokemon covered it's eyes and cried out in pain as two long vine's shot out of Tangela's side's and wrapped themselves around the Psyduck like a knot.

"WHAT THE CRAP!??! YOUR CHEATING! YOU CHEATED!!!" Your little opponent whined. But, nobody care's about him since he's stupid and he smells bad. As per your orders, your Tangela released a green sparkling mist from it's body in an attempt to lull the psyduck to sleep. "Psyduck! YAWN!" He ordered again, nobody really had to have to told it to yawn as it was doing plenty of that already... But One yawn was louder then the others, and sent a tiny white cloud over to your Tangela. Right now it didn't have much effect, but who knows what will happen next turn? Well, Your in the lead of this battle.... Question is, can you STAY in the lead? Well, of course the dumb trainer would screw with Shiro's plans. Idiotic, pudgy, rich, moronic brat...back to what we were doing. The idiotic brat shouted, "Smokescreen!" and his Charmander obeyed the order, releasing a black cloud of smog into the air. He immediately followed up by shouting, "Ember!" and the Charmander prepared for the attack. But, luck was on Shiro's side, and the Charmander needed time to charge.

Obviously, the brat wasn't a good trainer. The moves his Pokemon knew weren't well orchestrated at all, as was evident by the orange glow that Shiro, Matsuri, and Gligar could see through the translucent black cloud. Gligar wasn't waiting on anybody, and he sure as hell wasn't going to get blasted without a fight, so he fired off a Poison Sting round. Unfortunately, the Charmander had finished charging, and fired a barrage of small fireballs as well, and the two attacks collided in midair. A few errant needles and fireballs got through, and both Pokemon were damaged and inflicted with damage-incurring statuses.

Once again, the brat was a bit sneaky, as he had given his chubby duck orders to attack Matsuri from behind. However, the dumb brat forgot to tell Psyduck not to cry as he attacked, and Matsuri was able to hear him as he jumped at the Tangela with sharpened claws. Gligar also heard him and slapped some sand in the dumb duck's face. The Psyduck squealed with pain as the sand nestled into his eyes, and Matsuri added insult to injury as he wrapped two thick vines around the Psyduck and began to squeeze, forming a knot around him.

The brat was not pleased, and he made sure Shiro knew it. "WHAT THE CRAP!??! YOU'RE CHEATING! YOU CHEATED!!!" he bellowed. Shiro ignored him and paid more attention to the battle. Matsuri, having the Psyduck right where Shiro wanted it, released a cloud of green powder right into the yellow duck's face. Unfortunately, the brat shouted, "Psyduck! YAWN!" and the Psyduck managed to release a white cloud from his mouth before he went to na-na land. The cloud floated to Matsuri and dissipated, leaving the Tangela a tad droopy and steadily getting worse.

Shiro examined the battle scene. The Charmander and (temporarily) his Gligar were both still going strong, but both were losing power due to the poison and burn, respectively. Gligar was living up to expectations, loving the idea of a good battle. The Charmander was obviously better trained than the Psyduck, and he would provide the biggest challenge. Matsuri was looking a bit ragged, now going on his third and fourth consecutive opponents. However, Shiro had an idea of how to really get the battle in his favor using his first Pokemon. Finally, the Psyduck...never mind. He was not a very good battler. His trainer gave him orders and all, but the poor Pokemon was not able to follow through very well. When Shiro looked at the duck's trainer, he could see why. The brat was always giving Psyduck extremely harsh glares whenever it couldn't do something right, and Psyduck tried as hard as it could, but it could never get anything done. Charmander, on the other hand, was battling extremely well for its low level, and it seemed happy to be with the brat, which was incomprehensible for pretty much anyone else concerning who was being discussed. It was almost as if...no, that couldn't be right...or could it? It was like a case of Pokemon abuse Shiro had read about in one of his dad's Pokemon Monthly magazines. But he couldn't worry about that right now. He had a battle to win. (OOC: I'm giving someone an opportunity for something. Maybe take advantage of it, please?)

Shiro thought for a few moments, thinking of a good strategy. He finally came up with an acceptable one, and he shouted, "Okay, here's the plan, you two. Matsuri, use Ingrain to gain some HP and energy back. I know you'll be stuck, but we can use that to our advantage. I know that Yawn will kick in soon, so let's make good use of our situation. Beat the Psyduck on the ground using a few times using Strike (GAL) and then chuck it into the air. If Charmander attacks, use it as a shield instead!" He now looked at his bat Pokemon, wincing slightly at the burn on his stomach. "Gligar, if Matsuri sends Psyduck at you, Strike it as hard as you can, and then send it flying right into Charmander with another Strike!" His Pokemon nodded affirmatively and got ready for action.

This is NOT a pic of me.
Well, this certainly is a new way of getting out of a tight spot. I commend your brilliance. And I'll commend you by doing your ref right here and now... Savvy? Okay, Tangela began to burrow its roots into the ground. It then sucked up health, you could see the blue of its vines becoming a rich and healthy color. All that was needed now was a good nights sleep. Which unfortunatley was coming quite soon. Tangela smacked the chubby duck on the back with one strike. But when it started the second and more effective Strike, Tangela went out.

Now it was all up to your batty friend. Gligar was quite confused as to what to do... so it went with another plan. Your plan failed so you can't blame him. Gligar flew into the sky, dodging flames shot by charmander and shot a rain fall of Poison Sting like a machine gun. Charmander was hit hard by them, but they unfortunatley hit and woke up Mr. Duck. The duck pokemon hit Gliger with a Water Sport, knocking the bat out of the sky and down to the ground.

And there you have it. Sorry, I'm tired right now. But I managed to get this done. TG! (thank god)

Matsuri immediately released a few thinner, brownish-colored roots from near his feet, which shot into the ground, anchoring the young Tangela in place but replenishing his energy for the rest of the battle. Shiro knew it wouldn't be long until he was asleep, so he was hoping Matsuri would hurry. Matsuri shot a few vines out and whipped the sleeping Psyduck on the back once, but it was short lived, as he fell asleep right afterwards.

Gligar was naturally confused, as he now had absolutely no idea what to do. Shiro's plan was shot, but he was still quite knowledgeable, which Shiro was quite proud of. He really hope that he would be able to get that Pokemon when this battle was over with. Gligar weren't known for their intelligence, but this one was truly something.

Anyways, Shiro shook his head and got back to the battle at hand. Gligar was confused, but that didn't mean he didn't have the capacity not to able to come up with another plan. The brat shouted, "Charmander! Ember again!" The purple bat quickly performed some nifty aerial maneuvers, dodging every single fireball sent his way. Shiro noted the brat's ineptitude at not getting in an easy super-effective attack in on Matsuri. Gligar then opened his mouth and released a machine gun-like barrage of Poison Stings. Man, that Pokemon was something. Charmander was hit hard by them, and Psyduck was as well, but unfortunately, the attack woke him up. The duck Pokemon, groggy from just being woken up, shot a Water Sport into the air, which unfortunately hit Gligar and knocked him out of the sky.

Now Shiro had to come up with a plan, as the tables were turned on him. However, he now knew that Gligar was extremely smart, clever, and resourceful, and he was going to use that to his advantage. The Charmander was very well trained, as he previously had assumed, and he noted that the fire lizard's Ember attack was very powerful. Psyduck was...still Psyduck, and Shiro maintained his earlier suspicions about him. Hopefully, Matsuri would wake up soon, but the Ingrain would keep up replenishing his HP until then.

Now, to think of a plan for Gligar to use while Matsuri was in na-na land. Luckily, the bat Pokemon was very mobile and agile as well, and Shiro believed that he could use that effectively. "Okay, Gligar, this is going to be tough. You can do it. I know you can!" Gligar screeched and got back up onto his feet. After a few seconds of flapping the water off of his wings, he took to the skies again. "Excellent. Now, I need to you to come over here for a second." Gligar looked confused for a second, but he obediently swooped over to land on Shiro's shoulder. The young man lowered his voice to a whisper and continued, "I'm doing this so they don't hear us. If we need to, let's do this again next time I need to give orders. Now, first, I need you to Focus (GAL) on your Speed. That would enable you to be able to dodge any of their attacks. Now, the next thing I need you to do is to take to the air and take special care to avoid any of the brat's Pokemons' attacks while you're up there. If you are near a non attacking Pokemon of his while the other is attacking with a long range attack, fly down and put the nonattacker in between you and the attack. This should especially work if the Psyduck is the one attacking. If you don't get a chance to do that, use Poison Sting at your leisure, but if you do get an opportunity to do it, then fire a Poison Sting at both Pokemon when the attacking Pokemon calls off its attack. Do you think you can do that?" Gligar looked very confused, but after a few seconds processing the information, he screeched softly, and flew back onto the battlefield, ready to go again.

Shiro then turned to the brat. He had a risky plan, but he was pretty sure the idiot would fall for it, judging by his behavior concerning the wild Gligar so far. "Hey, brat!" he shouted, ignoring the brat's outrage at being called a brat, "I've got a proposition for you!" That shut him up. "I'll make you a deal. If I beat you, you give me $200 and a few Poke Balls. If you win, I'll leave you alone to capture Gligar and won't bother you again." Gligar immediately flew back over and started to screech worriedly. Shiro waved his hands in a calming motion and whispered, "It's incentive for you to win. I want to be your trainer as much as you want to be away from him, so you can use that as incentive to win. I need money, too, and I just want to beat his butt into the ground. Do you think you can do that for me?" Gligar screeched happily and went back out onto the battlefield, and Shiro awaited the brat's response.

Well now it seemed your opponent made a grave error, whilke water sport knocked the Gligar out of the sky it also increased its resitance to fire; guess what? Chamander just happened to be a fire type, lucky you. Now with your plan in mind and Gligar ready and willing to carry it out, it looked like you were ready to get back on the offensive. Keeping that in mind the Gligar began to follow your commands perfectly, wow for a wild pokemon it certainly was obidient wasn't it? No wonder you wanted it am I right? Regardless it began to focus amping up its speed then it shot off like a bullet into the air. It seemed to be scanning, waiting, biding its time, waiting for the chance to follow your orders. Judging by the weasly brats experience levels your plan would go off without a hitch, hopefully anyway.

The brat stuck out his tongue at your offer and said in his mocking voice, "Yeah whatever, I'm going to win so you might as well give me all of it anyway" he then looked extremely smug then said, "Chamander ember that bat out of the sky and don't stop till its burned!" he seemed to be getting angry, very angry. Anyways the charmander began to launch a fury of ember attacks on Gligar. Gligar reacted by using its speed while airborne to postion itself in the perfect spot. When charmander shot its next ember, the Gligar's eyes gleamed and it spun then dived down in front of a very confused Psyduck. As for the chamander, it followed it's trainer's orders and shot off another ember attack...directly at Psyduck, ouch, that had to hurt. This was evident a few seconds later as some of the hair's on psyduck's head caught fire and it began to run around in a panic.

The brat was aghast with horror and screaming out obcenities at his pokemon, right as the psyduck amusingly ran into a wall dealing some damage to itself. The tide had turned on this battle and it was about to get better, see that gligar was wild, it followed it's own rules some times and this was one of them. With mischief in it's eyes it flew and landed on the back of the charmander, this of course cause the fire lizard to panic and start shooting off fireballs left and right, most of them had no consequence, but one, one managed to hit the psyduck. Uh ohs, the gligar foresaw what was about to go down and quickly got the heck out of dodge. The psyduck, now wide awake, burned, and angry, went ape on the charmander, running at it and begining to claw at it. The charmander responded in kind with its own claws. All the while the brat was beside himself with anger, screaming at his pokemon to stop while they would not listen.

Some times the best laid plans aren't apt to fail but succeed in the most spectacular and brillant way possible.
