Items in Battle

Okay just a question about items. My Beldum just fainted in battle and little ol' me has no way of reviving him...or do I? I do have a Rare Candy that I could use to bump his level up and give him 2 extra Hp which will revive him. This also means he will get EXP in battle whether I win or lose.

My question is. Can I use the Rare Candy in battle. In the game it was a no-no but since this is a realistic RPG I would like to check.

You realize knocked out means immobile... even if you gave it to your Beldum, he'd be unable to eat it.

hmm that is very true. I was thinking that it would work but okay thought I'd check. Damn, no matter what the outcome my Beldum got screwed lol.

There have also been Pokemon that were KO'd but still leveled up and stayed KO'd. You based this off of the game, but realisticly it just doesn't work that way. On a side question. How would you feed it to Beldum? They have no mouthes and feed off of electrical energy.

Revive is a weird crystal thing. I'd expect that a fainted Pokémon in its immediate vicinity would draw the energy from the crystal (radiation?) leaving the user with a useless (and valueless) bit of glass.
