Alright, we as the administrators of the site would like to apologize for over-reacting to the situation at hand. I wont speak for the other two admin because they have voices of their own and it is against my nature to muffle those voices so this apology is from me and me alone.

I'd like to start off by saying that we over-reacted to the member's NOT posting in the nominations topic, and for that I am sorry. We meant for the entire nomination/vote for staff members to be a way for our staff to get some feedback on how their doing and that way we could reward them for their hard work at making your RPing experience here an enjoyable one. However, once I realized that the members weren't as excited to tell the staff how they were doing as I thought they would, I will admit that it seemed like either I had failed in promoting it or that the members just didn't care because it didn't involve them. So, I decided to believe the latter and went along with DS' plan to just threaten the members into voting for the staff member nominations.

None the less, after seeing the reaction of not only the members, but members of staff who were not informed on the decision I began to feel bad. So, I held a meeting with the other two administrators in AIM and we came to a decision: We'll not be holding this staff nominations thing any longer but rather we'll be holding a staff-only competition based on posting skill in a forum visible only to staff. However, do to some reactions we saw from the members when they thought we were gone it is HIGHLY unlikely that the members will regain the festival.

But that's beside the point. So truly I am sorry for over-reacting with the Nominations and hope that you will remain with us despite this little action we took.
