You strolled into Millenia and looked around. The entire town wasn't that big to begin with. But it would be a nice, quiet place to start with your Numel, that little cutie. Right now, the little camel was aimlessly wandering about beside you, lowing softly. His attention was on the sky though. For all you knew, there was a storm a coming and you should get inside somewhere safe.

Then what the Numel had been watching came into sight. The large carapace fluttered into view before it landed on the ground. The red and black bug scuttled about before finding a nice patch of warm grass to sun itself. The back part opened and the wings came out as it lied in bliss. Well, Numel could go out and pick a fight with a defensiveless bug. Or you could wander about town, maybe check out the Meteor Field if you're interested.

I'm wrecking this place up like a tornado of vengeance! Sideways is the best ways! Look out, Aro. You're about to be diago-NAILED!
Sherry and Drifloon were both getting into the swing of things; with your confidence, and their continued small victories, they were less nervous than before and more eager in performing your orders. Drifloon had the added concern of Shaira, who he was very attached to, probably on the other side and maybe in danger. At your command, he promptly flew back to the group, targeted the closest Ralts, and summoned all his Ghostly energies to Astonish the nasty thing twice. The Ralts, one of the weaker ones - and consequently, now very close to fainting - cried out and batted futilely at the balloon. Drifloon easily avoided his reach, and was about to retreat a little to get out of the way of Sherry’s imminent Embers when, suddenly, he was targeted himself. The little Ralts had drawn attention to the enemy in their midst, and before your teammate could escape, he was suddenly caught by no less than three simultaneous Confusions. Unable to move, and with his mind in increasingly chaotic agony, the balloon merely hung there, caught by malicious psychic energy.

Sherry gave an angered cry on the behalf of her ally, and, from her safe ranged point, shot her small fireballs at the Ralts in an attempt to distract them and free the balloon. Though they all hit their marks, they did not do enough damage to stop the attack, and she could only watch helplessly as Drifloon suffered.

Fortunately, your team did not consist solely of two pokémon, though it was not Psyduck which came to the ghost’s aide; with a battle cry, suddenly the Umbreon broke through the ranks of Ralts and their psychic barriers, rushing directly for the Drifloon. Obviously he, or Shaira, had seen the Drifloon’s state, and gone in for the rescue. It worked, though also left the Umbreon open to attack. One by one he batted and slammed into two of the Ralts who were to blame for attacking the Drifloon. The last one, the third one, was the Ralts with the ultraball, stood off a little from the group and therefore a little harder to reach. The Umbreon also wasn’t helped when it completely knocked out the Ralts which Drifloon had Astonished just beforehand; that Ralts had managed to Trace Drifloon’s Aftermath, and, as a result of fainting from a physical attack, took its last revenge on the Umbreon before collapsing to the ground. The blast from Aftermath had, unfortunately, not damaged his fellow Ralts, who had anticipated the finale and shielded themselves. Several of them struck out at the Umbreon as he staggered, weakened considerably by that last misfortunate blow, but the dark-type was determined to free Drifloon of his bonds. The ultraball-bearing Ralts was pressing on with a malicious Confusion, and was managing to keep Drifloon stationary all by himself. When Umbreon, summoning the last of his energy, charged at him, the Ralts immediately let go of Drifloon and targeted the dark-type instead. The ghost floated away with a vacant look on his face, going in no particular direction; he had come away from the attack confused.

Things didn’t look to be going any better for the Umbreon. Though it had the type and level advantage, this Ralts was far more fresh, and far more cunning; plus, it had Teleport, which was exactly the move you were reluctant to trigger. Just as Umbreon got close, wanting to perform his third and final move, the Ralts vanished, leaving the startled Umbreon to run into nothing. Just as the Umbreon skidded to a halt, the Ralts daringly and insultingly reappeared right in front of the dark-type, severely mocking him. The Umbreon barely had time to hiss before the Ralts utilised his own three-move turn, casting yet another Confusion directly into the mind of the Umbreon before him. The canine could do nothing to stop it.

The Umbreon, exhausted, battered and beaten, could take no more. The Confusion assaulted his mind for mere seconds before he slumped, his eyes gently closing, and he was done. The Ralts, still holding that ultraball, straightened, victorious, and glanced sideways at you. He knew he was good. He still expected to take you out, single-handedly.

That may have been possible, but behind him, his allies were fading fast. The last illusion had long been destroyed, and another Ralts had been downed to go with the one Umbreon had managed to take out. The remaining two did not look to be in good health, and were desperately trying to keep the rest of your allies at bay. Now that the middle was weaker, and there was less distorting psychic energy in the way of your vision, you could finally see your allies clearly. Shaira was the tallest figure, standing in the middle of a depleted gang of various pokémon; she was staring at her fallen Umbreon with her jaw open. The Taillow was still trying, though his efforts were lacklustre; a Paras was trying to break through to Scratch and hurt the remaining Ralts; a Sneasel, fighting viciously just in front of Shaira, probably now was standing in for her Umbreon. To the side, unconscious, was a Weedle and a Seedot, who were quickly joined by the Taillow, who was caught by yet another Confusion. The good news was that Ledyba and Volbeat were still active, though it looked like they were only hanging on due to the fact that they were working so closely together. Their energy was sorely depleted, but they aided the Sneasel in any way they could, using their Bug powers to combat the psychic energy.

Despite her smaller numbers, the woman you were all fighting did not yet seemed distressed. Either she had something up her sleeve, or was convinced that you would fall before she did. Something happened, though, which nobody could foresee - something fell from the sky, just adding to the chaos, coming to a thudding, dramatic stop some yards behind your position. The woman stared at it for a moment, wondering if it was something to do with you, but then decided that the matter at hand was more important. Should you investigate, you'd find a large, glowing grey meteor, radiating cold.

Large Battle is Large

Umbreon was an accedental spawn that was caught way too late. It shall remain until the Mod is finished, but cannot be caught by the member. ~Snow~
