:cestar ![]() Hidden Power Firstly, she turned to Clavier and quietly told him what he needed to work on. Basically, he needed to gather more energy to form the orbs, much like he gathered energy to make sure his leaves could be produced quickly enough for Razor Leaf. In short, he needed more short and quick bursts of energy to drive the production of the orbs. After that, he should have everything settled and done. Yes, and more practice, but that would come later. As for Cadence, she told him to work on creating a moving pattern for his orbs. The Charmander not only needed to know how to make them appear and move, he was going to use them to attack later on. With practice, he could fire them at range, but now ... they were just spinning - which reminded her of Accelerando somewhat. Either way, Aquos gently told the reptile to work on firing them. The typing could wait, for it came naturally. Requiem was Requiem, for lack of a better word. All he needed to do was practice, as typing was slowly inching its way into his Hidden Power. With words of praise, Aquos greeted the Zangoose and urged him to continue his work. She figured that he didn't need too much guidance; after all, he had started doing what he did all by himself. Which in fact, was always the case. She did, however, pat him lightly on the shoulder and offer him a calm smile. Moving on ... Sonata. Aquos felt a certain chill surround her as Sonata attempted Hidden Power; surely it was an ice-based attack? Hopefully so ... but even if it wasn't, the girl didn't really mind. After all, it was the Shinx and her desire to create an attack of her own - if she wanted to stop others from fighting by literally freezing them in their tracks, then she can do so. The teenager glanced at the cub for a minute or two, and grinned. Those orbs were indeed pretty; Sonata knew that as well. "It's pretty, isn't it?" she commented with a laugh. Accelerando and Ryuuza. The two were similar enough, but Ryuuza was probably a little more diligent and the Cestar slightly more ... dense? Or was he just ignorant? "Well, you two could try working together ... like, do something you two are doing?" muttered the girl, slightly unsure of what she was saying. Perhaps leaving them alone would work in her favor ... sheesh, she was seriously leaving too much up to chance these days. "Oh, I know. Accel, show me something cool and flashy; Ryuuza, you show me something totally different and fresh, okay?" Lastly, the Heracross - Aquos wasn't sure how to approach him. He seemed so absorbed in his practice that he didn't even notice her walking up next to him. When he did, though, he jumped a little. (Yeah, just a little.) Opening his palms, he showed Aquos a small orb of brown; his Hidden Power had took on its typing. "Hey, not too bad. You've come a long pretty far~" she commented. |

As you caught the fact that Turtwig needed to built up energy, he of course knew it from Razor Leaf but was he himself realizing that? Maybe; Turtwig was smart. Either way, Clavier shut his eyes tight, and focused. He could now easily focus and make the orbs small, really quickly. Putting more into them was the problem, and to make them that size faster. However, they all seemed to build. That is when you noticed something. If you look all around Clavier, he had orbs of a good size. The more focus he seemed to be putting in to it, the more steady they became. Not only that, but they slowly seemed to be moving into the area, towards Clavier. As it got more intense, they flashed more of a black color, but also shot out slowly. Clavier was getting very, very close. His focus on being a leader fueling him every step. Learning Curve for Turtwig ~ 75% Cadence kept up his orbs, and their spin. But when he had seen what happened to Clavier, he focused on sort of absorbing them towards him. When he did, they sort of did just what he wanted, but were still slightly spinning. The Charmander's face cringed when his focus was put to the test to move them close to him without hurting himself. Then the orbs shot away from him. They were not strong, but budged all of the other pokemon. Now, he definitely need a type and determined power. Learning Curve for Charmander ~ 80% Requiem was just Requiem, right? Anyway, the Zangoose found a focus once more. His tutor would be done in no time. The orbs flowed around him, and they seemed to slowly move towards him. He was, before, further then Clavier, and now had met up with him and now Zangoose was a little behind. No doubt, Zangoose will get very close to finishing the move this turn or next. The orbs got closer and closer to his body. His facial expression showed very intense focus to hold the power, and when they flickered pink, you could tell it was Psychic. Now, for the power, or the ability to shoot them out. When Zangoose couldn't handle the immense focus, he shoved his hands out from him and the orbs went. Along with them, nearly your pokemon. These were stronger then Cadence's seemed. Everyone was hit and budged to the side. Learning Curve for Requiem ~ 85% Shinx was moving along, and keeping up with Requiem better so then Octave was. Which, as the bug seen this, he grunted. The Shinx wasn't competing at all. She focused on the Hidden Power that might be able to be released soon. As she built up the orbs, the icy blue colors returned without a doubt. The orbs instantly flowed inward, and popped out! Whoa, she seemed to have a natural talent. Of course, it didn't happen as fast as I said. She had focused for a little longer, but when these orbs went outward, they didn't necessarily attack anyone. Luckily, everyone knew to dodge them this time around. Now, for a certain power! Learning Curve for Sonata ~ 90% You wanted to see something flashy and cool from Cestar, and something different from Ryuuza. The two dragonic pokemon closed their eyes after giving each other a high-five at the praise they seemed to have gotten. When focusing, their orbs were building up, more and more. In a way, maybe they were feeding off of each other's energy. Not their focus energy, but their physical energy. As dense as Cestar might've been, and no matter what Ryuuza seemed, they could be. The orbs around Cestar seemed to take a blue color, and began to shake like a wave. He was focusing on the element right now, before working on anything. Searching deep inside of himself, he found a Water hidden power. Ryuuza, a little different. His orbs showed a fiery ref color, which flickered around like an actual fire. They seemed to have focused pretty well on elements, and were receiving them. I don't know about Cestar and water, but fire on Bagon could be useful! Learning Curve for Cestar and Bagon ~ 75% This should be short, as you've been hearing the same thing from me the entire time. Octave tried his hardest to focus once more, and he seemed to already know his typing. A rock type? How awesome... well, it seemed so to me. To you, I'm not sure. However, none the less, Octave would probably finish it. The constant blows of orbs all around him was lowering his mood. He needed to catch up. Having found a glimpse of hope, Heracross set off to find it in himself to catch up. As he built the orbs, they took a more earthly tone. Slowly, his orbs started to multiply and some were being sucked in towards him. Not all of them. Maybe he focus of keeping up is slightly clouding his mind with other thoughts. At least he had his element, Learning Curve for Heracross ~ 80% |

:cestar ![]() Hidden Power Walking over to her turtle Pokemon, the girl grinned as she saw the flashing black orbs. However, what was lacking seemed to be speed - no worries, that could be fixed pretty soon ... with everyone else progressing well, Clavier should have seen most of what they were doing. Yet, she felt no need to press him, and was content to let him move along at his own pace. "I like how steady your orbs are," she commented with a smile at her Pokemon, "Just let them go along at their own pace. There's no need to fire them all over the place ... haste makes waste, like I've said before." "As for you, Cadence~" said the girl as she looked at the Charmander with a nod, "You need to work on making sure they do what they need to do. Also, think about it - it's no use being an awesome fighter if you can't trap and tangle your enemies' footsteps. Making sure they are distracted before attacking ... how's that for a plan?" Aquos glanced into the reptile's eyes, then at the blazing blue flames coating his tail. "You're unique; blue flames don't just shine for anyone." She rubbed Cadence's head lightly, and the Charmander smiled calmly. Oh, what do you know~ Requiem was actually losing to Sonata in terms of progress. Despite gaining momentum in the earlier parts of the tutor, he had slowed down somewhat. However, remedying the situation was deceptively simple. It was more of the physical aspects left to hone for the Zangoose, rather than mental aspects. "Your attack's ferocious and so are you; but I think Hidden Power is just a little more complicated than that. Try envisioning a bottle filled with water, but with a narrow neck - your orbs should gradually flow out, but without stopping until the end of the attack." Laughing just slightly, the girl ruffled Sonata's fur with a quiet smile. The little Shinx was getting better and better by the minute - despite her initial fears, she seemed to have overcome them with some help and ideals she can grasp confidently. "Hey, awesome job~" she commented with a smile, "You missed them on purpose, didn't you?" The girl grinned as the cub nodded, staring at the ground - it was never in her intentions to hurt her teammates at all times. "Now, should you ever find yourself in a desperate situation - envision yourself in that! Freeze them with your Hidden Power; just that little bit more and you can do that!" "Oh, how cool," smirked Aquos as she looked at Cestar, "And you too, Ryuuza. Fire and water ... and here I was thinking you two were alike!" The Cestar simply laughed and high-fived the Bagon again. "Basically, fire them out! Yes, Accel, fire them out ..." The Cestar seemed a little stunned; how could he fire them at Aquos? Or even worse, at Ryuuza? ... perhaps he could test his firing skills out on Requiem; muttering his plans into Ryuuza's ears, the two dragons set off to cause some mischief. Eying them, Aquos was slightly worried, seeing as one was trouble enough, and two was ... pandemonium. Octave seemed to be a little disturbed. The one he was competing with ... unbelievable - Sonata had surpassed Requiem! Impossible; blasphemy! Horrified, he turned to Aquos while gesturing wildly. "Huh? Requiem ... he's still ahead of you," the girl told the bug Pokemon matter-of-factly, causing the Heracross to pale and sigh. "Well ... try focusing a little harder on mastering your technique instead of other thoughts; at least, I think that's how Sonata managed." |

Derping... All Day, Every Day!

Haste makes waste. Well, certainly a nice choice of words. Turtwig's previous shot was not fully intended. He needed to work on building the orbs up a little faster, yes, but also power. And, as long as he seemed to know about them shooting, he might as well practice that too. The turtle realized that working in such a group would be bad. And as such, Clavier wouldn't treat his teammates badly. Dashing off to the side, much more a ways off, Turtwig then tried to focus. From all the practice, the orbs seemed to come in fine. They started to build up nicely. Over the time, the orbs naturally came with each attempt. Once you had something, it was only right for it to improve instead of... well, decrease. However, Turtwig's orb soon turned black, and seemed to stay that way for a longer time. His true inner power? Dark; had to be. The orbs had made a movement to go in towards him, and then burst out. Clavier had a type now, and had control over the actions of the orbs. He solely needed to focus on determining a power. Learning Curve for Turtwig ~ 90% As you spoke to Cadence, surely he was excited to hear how you were going to help with his 'True Warrior' image. Wait until he gets to Charizard, then he'll definitely be a very beastly warrior. Anyway, he isn't that form now. Trapping and tangling your enemy? That sounds like it could do, but maybe not entirely his style that he seen. Although, as Cadence shut his eyes, he incorporated that into his imagination. Fortunately, he was right under a tree that was set off to the side. The orbs built up, naturally. They held for a moment. In his mind, he must be thinking of the grass properties, as he may have seen some Grass types use vine whip and suck. Moments passed and as you studied the Charmander, it seemed to be as he had a perfect sense of the type. Leaves, small and big, started to slightly hover with him. His orbs started to reflect the color of the leaves, a very leafy and spring green. Cadence then tried to move the orbs in towards him, and then force them out with a natural feel. A special kind of power swept through the area as the orbs were tossed all around. When they collided, they didn't seem to do a hell of much. But, they did a number on trees and the ground enough to say that Charmander has finally finished the move Hidden Power! Learning Curve for Charmander ~ 100% (Grass, C) The Zangoose stared you down, but not in an evil way at all. It was trying to understand you. It seemed to have a psychic type, but tried to think more of the bottle with water, and flowing orbs. His natural wasn't as gentle as this flow seemed. However, Zangoose was pretty far ahead that all he needed, and could get this time around, was the practice of tossing out the orbs, and maybe even his power. Zangoose, no doubt, had a knack for power. It seemed he would thrive for a power higher then Cadence. With closed eyes, naturally the orbs came back. Good size, pink color, strong and steady focus. It seemed that Zangoose caught back to his major focus point, the images he had been using this entire time. As the flow of power swept over him, the orbs moved inward. Bottle of water; orbs flowing! Was this to mean only that he should have the orbs fire naturally, and not forcefully? It got to the point that the orbs started to shake, and shot out. However, the entire time, Zangoose didn't seem to make any movement saying that he was forcing them to burst out. He had seemingly mastered the aspect. Now, the orbs. They flew out, and all the pokemon, by now, knew to dodge. The trees, and ground, and anything else that was in their path seemed to have a way bigger mark left then Cadence. It seems that Zangoose, through his focus and nature, has achieved a much higher power then anyone may imagine. Learning Curve for Requiem ~ 100% (Psychic, B) Eager to find out what happened next, you even said to do the little more required. For Sonata, this round would be the easiest, and maybe even the easiest for any of them at this point. She had gotten everything in experience except for the power. Zangoose, who was right behind her, needed to focus on a few more things. Cadence, even. Clavier. You get the point. For this Shinx was a natural. She looked around, and noticed Clavier had a pretty good idea. Seeing as how strong Zangoose's power seemed, even the Shinx thought it was good to get away. She dashed to the side, opposite of Clavier. Sonata had to close her eyes, let the orbs build up, have them go for her, and then let them go out away from her. As this all took place, she focused on having a power that seemingly would be powerful enough to stop fighting, but at the same time show a demand to it. Something seemed wrong for a moment, as the orbs were about to fire. A power was undetermined. She couldn't seem to get as strong as Zangoose at the time, when they burst out, they were strong. But as they hit, you noticed that were as damaging as Requiem's. Learning Curve for Sonata ~ 100% (Ice, B) The two dragonic pokemon did seem to have a plan, and it seemed a little dumb. Why would you go for Requiem, who just mastered a pretty strong move, and has a very big power to it. Cestar had to dodge the orbs just to stay safe. Maybe that changed his mind? Not exactly. He found a place, and focused. Hidden Power seemed to come natural to everyone. It was just the speed, element, and power that had everyone. Otherwise, they pretty much had it. As the orbs turned their fiery red, Cestar smirked. He was having fun causing mischief, and along with it, learning. Was this future lesson going to be worth it? Cestar let the orbs fire out, and Requiem seen them coming. What happened next was-- Learning Curve for Cestar ~ 85% So, Ryuuza had seemingly gained a Water element. Not bad, and for the record, it was opposite to Cestar. Could it have had to do with training with him that seemed to make it so? Who knows. Ryuuza knew when a dumb thought was dumb, right? Sort of? Kind of? Hopefully. As the dragon focused, he wanted to just get this done and not seem like he was going directly for Requiem, as Cestar did. However, maybe he would if his friend was in danger. Ryuuza powered up, and the orbs fired. They knocked in the ground, and luckily, missed the Cestar that was turned. However, were they able to hit Requiem if he tried anything to Accelerando? Either way, surprisingly, Ryuuza mastered all the progress up to the power. Learning Curve for Bagon ~ 90% Octave showed a face of struggle. He wanted to compete with Requiem, but only seemed to be left behind. Even by a Shinx. The Heracross surely had a nature for keeping up, and not maybe the best of focus. However, I cannot say that exactly. He did get this far with trying to compete, in a way. Octave tried to breath, and let everyone flow very peacefully. His orbs, they came up quicker with this clear mind. They took a color of, well, a brownish tint as well. Definitely Rock. As the clear mind had seemingly done so much good, Heracross' orbs fired out. You were almost hit, but the orbs went all over. The knocked into the tree and grounds, and you could see that Heracross had surprisingly caught up. Wow; what a clear mind can do to you! Learning Curve for Heracross ~ 100% (Rock, C) Edited by Kazuki, Nov 14 2010, 09:33 AM.

:cestar ![]() Hidden Power Alright, the hurdles are past and the finish is near for this tutoring of Hidden Power. It was a little tiring, for both Aquos and the Pokemon. Without saying another word, she proceeded to walk over to where Clavier was. Despite a slight feeling of pride for her Pokemon, she suppressed the urge to grin in a silly manner and instead, projected her pride in something similar to a quiet, calm smile. "So, Clavier ... one day, you're going to be this huge turtle," she said, and the Turtwig nodded, "Well ... I don't know where I'm getting at with that, but there's this quote from a movie: with great power comes great responsibility. I know you can handle this power; whether you've evolved, or if you haven't. There's gotta be someone to back up those Pokemon and show them that everything can be done - it's gonna be you." Clavier nodded. Of course, he was some sort of the leader of this team; despite not choosing it voluntarily, in the earlier stages of their journey, everyone else had looked to him for leadership. Naturally, he nodded, and proceeded to practice more ... On the other side of the pitch, while the other Pokemon were relaxing, Accelerando and Ryuuza were talking to each other. The Cestar was a little unpleased that Ryuuza was ahead of him, despite the difference in level. The both of them were batting each other playfully, that is, until Aquos glanced at either of them. "What's up?" And because of unknown reasons (read: laziness), the two went back to training, Accelerando working on focusing and firing them accurately, while Ryuuza attempted to make his work ... better. Either that, or make them stronger. |

It was time to finish up the tutors for each and every pokemon left; which is Clavier, Accelerando, and Ryuuza. Clavier was up first, and it was so near to the ending of everything and that met no need to worry on building up the orbs. Rejoice for that! Well, the only thing anyone seemed to really need was a power. Each and every pokemon needed a base power. Clavier built it up, focused, and fired. The trees took damage. It seems that Clavier's personality is nice, and kind, but his Hidden Power is the opposite of that. A negative and opposing force to it. Well, Clavier will be glad, because he tied with Zangoose, as well. Learning Curve for Turtwig ~ 100% (Dark, B) The two pokemon seemed to watch and follow Clavier. This wasn't going to take much. They closed their eyes, and did what came natural to them. Basically, Hidden Power without knowing how strong they were. Like I said before, maybe they could feed off of each other's powers and energy because everything they seemed to do was in sync with the other. As the orbs fired off, it seemed like a very big, and mass meteor shower happening down on the ground. The orbs hit a variety of things, and seemed to be quite strong. They both got C powered Hidden Powers. Learning Curve for Cestar and Bagon ~ 100% (Fire, C) | (Water, C) It seemed that as soon as you were done with finishing up the tutors for Clavier and allies, bushes to your side had rattled. Something lurked within the leaf-y shelter. If you were to look, you'd see absolutely nothing. You can try attacking whatever is in there, but the rattle wasn't too much. |

Well, now everything was done. Returning some of her Pokemon to their Pokeballs, namely Sonata, Requiem, Octave and Cadence, the girl proceeded onwards and after the mysterious Trainer that had won the Tournament of Aegis - but WAIT, what was that? Bushes had started to rustle, and it wasn't her movements. Or Clavier's, or either of her Pokemon's. Curious, she turned to stare at the bushes for a bit, but Accelerando was quick on the uptake, rushing headlong into the shrubbery with Ryuuza trailing him. "Hey guys, what's ..." she spoke, but ended her sentence with a sigh. So much for having patience. With a second glance at the bush, she decided that it wasn't too worth chancing whatever was in there - or if they had chanced it, it was highly possible that the Cestar would get something along a nip on his nose or a scratch across his forehead. She turned to the Turtwig and attempted to confirm her thoughts, only to receive a worried gaze from the turtle Pokemon. And then she realized it. "Accel, don't attack whatever it is if it attacks you, okay?" she stated. Slightly worried for her two Pokemon, she stepped into the shrubbery and attempted to literally fish out the two Pokemon out and away from mischief. |

The bushes had an unsettling feeling. What had been watching you, as it had no doubt been. Your pokemon seemed eager to see what it was. However, you weren't so sure. After a while of just moving around, it might've lost it's scariness. Whatever it was, didn't seem to realize that. It seemed like five minutes went by; the bush rattling, you and your pokemon on hold to see what it could be. Finally, it seemed to make a move. Out came a gem-like rock from the bush, and it instantly began to float mid-air. As slow as it was, it seemed to be rock hard, and reminded you of something. More time passed with the gem floating in the air. Until it finally passed by close to your Poketech. The beeping started, and the device had instantly identified the gem as that of a Sableye. That is strange. Sableye aren't invisible, but the gem sure did look closely enough related to it's eye gems. Abruptly, you heard giggling. A purple figure leaped from the bushes, and did a little opening dance. Yes, a dance. Finally it stopped, it's dancing, and stared at you... with one eye. The floating one finally got back to it, and it seemed to just toss it back on. Sure is gross! Before it could attack or be attacked, some more rattling in the bush! This time... Out came a trainer! He was quite young, and certainly out of breath. The boy took a few seconds to catch it, before he even tried to talk to you. This entire time, I really cannot imagine what would be going through your head. As the man put a hand on the Sableye, you must've known it was already caught. "Pesky, little bugger. He is a hand full. Sorry if he caused any drama." The man returned Sableye. "Actually, since he is gone... would you care to have him? He is too much for me. All I would ask for is that you battle me. Accept?" You do want a Sableye, right? Would it be the right one for a Sableye with some weird eye trick. A fake eye, maybe. Surely the playful mood would help it get along with Accelerando. Without a moment more, the man released his first pokemon. His first, and probably easiest. It was a way to bait you in to the battle. Lv.9 |

"..." Aquos took a step back, staring at the strange apparition - no, strange floating gemstone. Slightly worried, she turned to her Pokemon, seeing what they were doing. Ryuuza and Accelerando were rooted to the ground, but thankfully, they were by her side. Clavier, on the other hand, was staring at the strange Pokemon that had appeared. It seemed a little mischievous, a little playful, but it mainly seemed to be plotting ... something. However, it was busy playing with its - ARGH MISSING EYE. Fake eye. Her jaws slacked just a little before she regained her composure; she wasn't sure if she was going to fight it, for one, he seemed as if he was waiting ... waiting for ... The girl jumped when something else emerged from the bushes. It was a Trainer! A Trainer who was rummaging around in the bushes! What the heck ... shaking her head, Aquos realized that sometimes, weird things happen. Like a Sableye who has a missing eye and a Trainer who ... just came out of a bush. With a Bidoof - oh, he released that after coming out from the bush. Shit happens ... she tried to convince herself, but was kind of failing at it. "Drama? I can't even begin to fathom how he lost his eye ..." muttered the girl, but nodded all the same. "Of course - I'll take him off your hands," she added pleasantly; after all, she had planned to add a Sableye to her repertoire of Pokemon. "And yes, I'll battle you!" "Ryuuza~" The Bagon stepped up, nodding calmly as he stared at the Bidoof. Was he going to fight it? Sure, sure, bring it on! Stamping one of his feet on the ground, the little dragon charged into battle - "Ryuuza, head in with a Rage attack - if you are attacked, use Rage again, if not, use Bite!" Ryuuza (Bagon) - Rage on Bidoof; if attacked, Rage; if not, Bite |

The male Trainer seemed to be very happy that you agreed to taking Sableye. He was so happy, he felt that inside he should call off the battle and just hand him too you. But, he had to train his pokemon so why not use this battle for that. As he watched, your Bagon dashed to the Bidoof and whacked it. However, through it's Rage attack, it seemingly did nothing. Bidoof, often seen as a dumb pokemon, was just sitting there. He was unimpressed. That seemed like a taunt to Bagon, who used Bite. As Bidoof was taken back, he still was unimpressed. "Good thing Bidoof didn't attack. Rage wouldn't do much more with his "Unaware" ability. Stat modifications don't mean a thing. But, Bidoof, you should attack next round." The trainer called out, and the plump mouse only nodded, ready to attack in the next round. Clearly, it would be tough. But the Bidoof seems to be dumb enough to not attack. There IS a chance that Ryuuza can defeat it. As long as you use Bite and Hidden Power. That can work!

Drat. Well, a situation like this simply called for even more brute force to be used ... as much as she didn't quite take to fighting in this manner, she felt that it had to be done. After all, a battle was a battle, and fighting it half-heartedly only meant that she did not respect her opponent and could end up with her being on the losing end. And she didn't want that. Aquos glanced a second time at the Bidoof; the way it was going, the Bidoof would just be a tank, or something of the sort while her Pokemon worn himself out with a lack of energy. Put short, something had to be done and so, she was doing it. Without caring for the consequences, yes. Slightly annoyed, Ryuuza stared at the Bidoof in disbelief. What Pokemon wouldn't attack him? He knew that someone like Requiem would be all too happy to take advantage of the situation, but ... he wasn't Requiem. Looking back to the girl, he awaited his commands - "Use Bite twice, then get out of the Bidoof's range and use Hidden Power!" - and with a determined gaze, rushed forward. The first attack would ideally take the rodent's mind off attacking him while he took advantage of the situation and used Bite a second time - and while Bidoof attempted to retaliate, he would get out of harm's way and use Hidden Power. While it was a rather interesting and useful plan, the response (or rather, lack of) on the Bidoof's part would be rather troublesome. Perhaps it would be time to keep his temper and emotions in check and just battle it like he would. Ryuuza - Bite x2, Hidden Power |

Now things would start to heat up. That isn't even suppose to be a reference to the element of Ryuuza's hidden power. I swear. Anyway, the male trainer clenched his hand, and raised it. He looked like one of those that were waiting and cheering to hear they won the lottery and was hoping the numbers matched his. Either way, Bidoof didn't make any movements. Ryuuza wasn't like this; instead of waiting, he would begin what would be an assault. Bite, number one. Bite, number two. Bidoof then followed through with a single Strike attack. The male trainer jumped with joy. "Yes! Get him Bidoof!" Who was dumber here? The Bidoof who often looked dumb, and was, or the trainer that caught him. I wonder... Ryuuza certainly didn't like that. He got his distance and focused. The orbs that he had so long practiced summoning came naturally, and built up. The air had a warm sensation. Maybe you could feel it. The orbs soon launched out, and engulfed Bidoof. Nothing Ryuuza was doing seemed to really effect Bidoof to the point he had to be terrified. Maybe that is why he was acting as he was? No, I highly doubt that. Just keep up the attacks, and Ryuuza should have this. Better just watch out for those Strikes. If you need too, maybe some berries will be in the bushes.

Well, not too bad. The damage was to be expected from a level 9 Pokemon - and for Ryuuza to not faint from an attack as a level 5 Pokemon was already an achievement in itself. However, the battle now was not against the Bidoof, but against the dwindling energy count of the dragon. Oh, and also the idiocy of the Trainer ... but that was a battle for another day. And besides, Aquos didn't quite feel like fighting against a guy right now. Though she'd take him on any day - just not today. Ryuuza panted slightly from the exertion. A Hidden Power and two Bites would be easier on him when he was much stronger, but now he was the weakest in the team - the weakest link. And so, he must fight. Battling against logic dictating that a Pokemon his level would rarely triumph against something so strong, he listened to his orders and launched into action. "Alright, use a Focus to your attack stat, then go for a Bite!" Aquos told the Bagon. Nodding, Ryuuza stamped his feet on the ground, and a ring of energy started to form - it was Focus, and he shut his eyes in preparation for boosting his attack. After that, he would launch himself in a blue whirl at Bidoof, chomping down wildly with his Bite technique. Focus (Attack), Bite |

Throwing out some new tactic here. That is the perfect way to go about this. Using Focus on his attack, Ryuuza will slightly deal more damage. This way, next turn, two bites will get the last end of the Focus and do enough. Maybe Bidoof will faint next round. We can only hope. The Male Trainer was back to hoping for another hit. Though, what are the chances of this Bidoof doing anything. Oh, well, I'll tell you. Probably twenty to forty percent. This pokemon seemed like a sort of open opportunity for Ryuuza to try. Using Focus, Ryuuza suddenly felt stronger. Then, it was all on from there. Game on! Bidoof blankly stared him down, and watched as the dragon closed the gap. "Bidoof, dodge. Then counter!" The trainer said, upon seeing Ryuuza dash at his pokemon. The Bite connected, doing some more damage to the plump mouse. The Trainer's face cringed. "Biiiiiidoof! I said dodge." He said, depressed. The expression of sadness turned to a worried one. "Bidoof, you have to strike the next round." Like before, Bidoof nodded.

"Yeah, he'll keep nodding. Watch if he doesn't nod off." Accelerando snickered at this. He wasn't able to fight this turn, but watching the Bidoof was amusing enough. He wished he had some popcorn to go with the amusing, amusing show. The Cestar watched Aquos for a moment, then leaned back as well as he could in midair and crossed his arms. Soon, Ryuuza returned to Aquos' side and gave the other dragon a high-five. Oh yes, this was certainly an amusing, amusing game his friend was playing! "Um ... yeah. Go in for two Bites, okay?" Aquos told her Pokemon, watching calmly as he returned to the fray. Dark energy streamed from his fangs as he slowly gathered speed from where he was, dashing past shrubs powerfully. With sufficient speed, he would be able to potentially launch himself up from the ground and onto the unsuspecting, albeit slightly stupid Bidoof. And he hoped and wished he could. Two Bites ... it could be all he needed to make things work and, well, finish off the poor mouse. At the end of everything, Ryuuza did have a little bit of a soft spot for his new punching bag.
