Shrugging at the general scene as the Pokéball popped back into her hands, Aquos merely glanced back at her Pokétech. Well, well, it came as no surprise that she purchased some lotto tickets once again, deciding to try her luck even more this time by buying three tickets instead of her usual one. Anyway, it wasn’t too big a deal … or maybe, it was. She didn’t have much money left, you see?
“Who cares, anyway?” she mumbled to herself. She then purchased the tickets under a name that wasn’t hers, considering that the Pokétech wasn’t really hers to begin with, anyway. After that, she turned back to the battlefield, and a grin erupted on her face. Her Pokémon were fast learners, it seemed, and the two cats were now down, leaving them with one left. It was time to end the whole deal, and get the show on the road … but not before healing. “Tempo and Canon, use Fury Swipes and Fury Cutter. Get cracking!” she ordered, her Pokémon getting ready to launch their respective attacks. She didn’t need coordination and perfect strategies this time around. Well, with both Tempo and Canon having a good relationship in working together, the show was pretty much guaranteed to be entertaining to her. Turning to the little Turtwig, the girl offered him a little piece of sandwich, which he nibbled eagerly. “Clavier, you’re to strike at range, okay?” she said to the turtle Pokémon. “If those two didn’t seal the whole deal, you’re at liberty to attack with Bite and Tackle, or Razor Leaf – whichever you prefer. Just make sure this turn is the last for this battle.” Standing up straight once again, she waited for the battle to run its course. Tempo, Canon - Fury Swipes and Fury Cutter Clavier - Bite and Tackle/Razor Leaf if Meowth isn't knocked out Edited by Aquos, May 22 2009, 11:08 PM.

Well, the battle was pretty much over at this point which was obvious so all three of your pokemon were ready to just head off and finish up already. First up was Tempo, your sentret, who was closely followed by Canon. The two pokemon darted along the sides of the meowth masterfully, bringing their claws across its body rapidly, taking turns really with fury swipes. Clavier however was standing back, keeping watch of your other two pokemon as they attacked their target, he seemed to have gathered their plan already in his mind and he was ready to just move along from this battle. "Sen.." "Irusa!" Your two pokemon said as they each used a chain of Fury Cutter against Meowth, first was Teddiursa who launched Meowth in the air, then Sentret who continued the upward attack, followed by teddiursa, then sentret. And so this chain continued until neither one could reach Meowth any more. That is when Clavier came into the mix, firing off a nice and well-aimed Razor Leaf attack which finished the poor kitty-kat off. Well, atleast it was all done with, right? Yeah, it was all done. Well, that was nice and easy right? So, now what did you want to do? I assume you'd want to recall your pokemon and go get them healed, right? Well, whatever you do is your choice Have fun!Clavier gained 6.3 ![]() Tempo gained 6.3 ![]() Canon gained 5.5 ![]() Edited by Alternia, May 28 2009, 03:02 PM.

Without having anything to do for the time being, Aquos stretched out as her Pokémon gathered around her. Soon, the familiar feeling of her Pokétech beeping alerted the girl. She looked at her watch, and noticed that someone was going to trade a Pokémon to her for the cat she just caught. It sounded like a pretty good deal, actually, a Pokémon for a Pokémon. Agreeing to the trade almost at once, the girl obtained her new Pokémon. She didn’t bother to let it out just yet; it was a freaking bird, and it might fly away. Maybe later she’d let it have some fresh air. After that, she noticed the tournament flyer, but didn’t want to join it at all. She had no interest in this kind of fighting as of now. As Clavier, Tempo and Canon walked by her, Aquos smiled at them. “Okay, to the Pokémon Center!” she said, and her Pokémon either laughed or commented on stuff to each other. Together, the small party proceeded towards where they had come from like before, significantly stronger, but also weaker. As they neared the red-roofed building, Aquos stood outside and recalled both Canon and Tempo. Clavier, she smiled at him. “How’s it going?” she asked him, and getting a nod. Clavier was always himself, steely with determination and independent. Aquos needed to look out for him more than the others … After that, she entered the building and approached the nurse for healing. |

So, the trade was complete. The little bird Pokemon was now on your team. Nice trade, if I do say so myself. With that completed, you began your journey towards the Pokemon Center. As you did, nothing really 'important' occurred. Nothing strange, just a plain old, bland walk towards the center. As you entered the building, the Nurse smiled and grabbed all the Pokeballs and placed them on the machine. DING! It sounded as she removed them and placed them on a tray on the counter before you. "Have a great day." the nurse said with a smile. Now what, your Pokemon were all fully healed and were ready for whatever was brought at them. You could take your leave. You were in Millenia at the time anyway, you had a full ocean view before you. Take a trip down there, maybe? That would or could always be fun! New Pokemon to be discovered there anyway. Also, you could just go about town, let your Murkrow out for a bit, give it some fresh air. It was all up to you what you would do now. It was your journey after all. You can't ALWAYS be in a plot, right? Sometimes you gotta think for yourself, use your own two feet per se? Anyway, it was all up to you now. What would you do? |

Right, having a great day didn’t seem to be possible with Pokémon jumping her at every other corner. With a smile at the nurse, Aquos nodded her thanks. She then released her new Pokémon from its captivity. A Murkrow emerged from the device, crowing. It was black in color, and it was a bird. “Krow?” he asked, looking at Aquos and company. “You’re Fugue, and you better remember that. This is Clavier,” said Aquos. She gestured to the Turtwig sitting on the counter with a grin on his face. Fugue gave his greetings with a little spin in mid-air. Trying to think of something to do was a little difficult. This was Millenia Town, a town in essence. There was the beach nearby … perhaps she’d take a trip down there. Water promised new adventures, and besides, she missed the feeling of the sea water against her feet. With a grin on her face, Clavier trotted after her as Aquos headed to the beach. Fugue wasn’t too far off as he fluttered behind his new Trainer. Fugue was a little confused, all in all. He had barely gotten to know his previous Trainer when he was already traded off. The Murkrow gave a little cry of indigence as he landed on Aquos's shoulder, sighing with distaste. Aquos gave him a little look, and shook her head. “Fugue …” |

Oh! The beach! Places like that were always an awesome way to obtain new and exciting Pokemon, or finding a new adventure was just around the corner! To the beach! The sun was warming the entire scene, some sea winds were blowing, but everything seemed as though it was a perfect beach scene. All of your Pokemon were healed, which made the adventure ever better. As you approached the beach, you noticed something overhead, and on the ground. A battle? Yes, it was. A battle between a Wingull and a stationed Corsola was occurring. No one seemed to take notice, but the two were fighting, back and forth. Water guns blasting, other little attacks such as tackle, on the Wingull's part, etc. It seemed as though the battle had just started too! Both looked as if they were quite strong and still ready for more battling. What would you do now? Would you go ahead and take the opportunity to maybe fight alongside one of the two Pokemon, or would you go ahead on your merry way towards the rest of the ocean. Now you had Fugue, so another bird, versus bird wouldn't be bad. Now that you had him, you could use him if you'd like. Possible Enemies ![]() Level 8 ![]() Level 9 |

Aha! A battle, just not too far off the coast … good – and it was another double battle, which meant that it could be a little less messy as compared to the previous battle. With a nod towards the bird fluttering by her, Fugue landed on her shoulder, picking at her hair absentmindedly. “Stop that,” sighed Aquos, shrugging her shoulder. Fugue took flight at once, cawing mechanically. There was a flash of light, and the Murkrow was no more – he had been withdrawn into his Pokéball. Naturally, the battle was going to be fought by the favorites, uh, no, the usual guys. Aquos glanced around for a moment. Clavier stood by her side, ever-ready. “Well … what say you?” she asked her companion, and the Turtwig nodded. This could be an easy task, actually, with his Razor Leaf technique; the Corsola wasn’t going to be a pushover! Now, that left the Wingull … it was actually going to be a little bit of a predicament. Clavier shrugged nonchalantly. If there was going to be a fight, he could take care of it, no problem! However, if Aquos was going to ask his opinion … he didn’t quite like the sight of the seagull’s beak. That was going to sting if it ever made a mark on his body, or twig-like appendage. “Turt,” he said calmly, staring up at his Trainer. With a nod, the girl smiled at Clavier. “Let’s check out the beach,” said the girl, walking onwards and away from the battling duo. |

Well then, you'd chosen to avoid the battle all together and just head on toward the beach, aye? I guess that's alright, though you might have missed out on some EXP for your pokemon because both Wingull and Corsola looked pretty strong. Whatever I guess, it was your choice and I'm just the guy who tells you how it works. So now that you were headed to the beaches of Millenia you noticed the great increase in human population. I guess it makes sense, an Alternian Summer was incredibly warm and it made sense that these people would come to the beach to relax and cool off. While you stood on the beach with Clavier at your side you noticed an amazing amount of trainers with their pokemon playing games, and very few trainers were actually battling. Not too far out in the distance was a rock walkway heading into the ocean, it didn't look very safe but you could see a few trainers fishing off of it, and others actually diving off of it into the water. The trainer's that were jumping would appear soon after happily, often times carrying a pokeball. I wonder what was down there, pokemon? Well, whatever the case, these trainers were obviously very dare devil-like. Now, you have a choice, you could hang around on the shore, take a swim, play with your pokemon, jump on the rocks, or find something else to do. It's all up to you. :] Have fun! |

Right … maybe walking away from the fight wasn’t the best thing to do, huh. Summer was here, and boy, was it warm! Yawning a little from the heat and stretching, Aquos turned to Clavier, who was by her side. If she was going to try the lotto – at this moment, her Pokétech beeped annoyingly. The girl felt tempted to hurl the device into the sand and stamp on it, but common sense prevented her from doing so. Good idea, actually; she had no idea as to where she could get another item like that. Some people were jumping off rocks and in general, having fun in the sun, for lack of a better word. Aquos too, was tempted to have fun like they were, but she wasn’t exactly decked in suitable outfits. She rummaged around in her waist-pouch, drawing out a pair of tinted glasses. It was a pretty long time since she had time to wear these; what better time than now? Stifling yet another yawn, she headed down towards the Trainers. “Hey,” she said, approaching one of them. The person she had approached was fishing. Even though she didn’t want to admit it, the fishing rods piqued her curiosity … well, it was the beach, after all! Aquos letting herself loose was a good thing – all prim and proper wasn’t her idea of fun, anyway. Clavier lurked around her legs, occasionally snapping at the sand. |

Ah.. Blue sky.. Blue water.. "Oh, hello....." He took an analytical look at Aqous for a second, and began talking once more. "Ah, You appear to be a trainer, yes? I'm a water trainer to the heart, but I had to begin with this Zangoose. I'm fishing to find something more to my tastes right now... I don't care much for him, would you mind taking him out of my hands for me? I'm sorry to be such a burden..." Oh. Wow. Talk about the right place at the right time, huh? A perfectly good Zangoose just happens to now be close for the taking. Being a thief, you were probably setting your eyes on that rod of his... Which doesn't sound perverted at all. But, he nicely offers you a Zangoose after you abruptly wake him up... And not a bad one, either. What is with people and Zangoose, anyway? Why not go for a nice, giant snake? (Seviper) Always for the cat ferret..... Well, anyway. Nice day today, huh? Take it? As she talked to the guy, hoping for a battle, Aquos was nicely surprised by the presence of a non-hostile person. Really, these kinds of fishermen were rare and far apart now. As he offered her a Zangoose, supposedly his starter, the girl couldn’t help but feel a little thrilled. Oh, you know how girls act – they go all swooning and fan-girl movements, but that wasn’t going to happen in Aquos. The most she does would be shining a smile, accept the gift, and go away marveling at her luck. “Uh … I … sure,” smiled the girl, looking at the fisherman. “It’s okay; I’ll take it,” Aquos continued, grinning at the guy. Clavier glanced up at her, slightly worried. Accepting gifts from strangers wasn’t something too good … wary, the Turtwig shifted closer to the girl. He had no idea what kind of beast she would have brought unto herself, but he could only do his part as a partner and accept the fact. Clavier sighed and pawed at the sand for a moment. The blue-haired girl nodded at the fisherman. “I should be thanking you,” she said, softly, as she watched the fishing rod and the sea for a moment. “So … um, thanks,” she said, laughing slightly. She was amused by the whole situation, considering that she was just surprised so nicely. |

The fisherman politely handed over the Pokeball containing the Zangoose, then turned to Aquos. "Ah, don't mention it! Now, I'm questing to get me a Gyarados!" With that, he re launched his fishing pole, and set his eyes onto the water once more. ....Well, he was nice, but maybe..... Alittle.... Ambitious....? Well, not your problem anymore. You just got a nice, basicly free Lv 10 Zangoose! At the same time, it is now the strongest member of your team. Though it's attacks are smally lacking, a move tutor here and there could cure that, yes? Letting the fishermen get back to his 'quest', Aqous walked into the general beach area. Well..... all these people around... Though, not many of them looked like they really wanted a battle around now. You heard several splashes to your left, and turned to look. It was the daring trainers, jumping off the small outlet that went far into the water. They looked like they'd battle, but then again, what were they diving for...? Looking out at the water, someone walked up to you. "Oh, wondering what those boys are doing?" It was a mother, apparently in her 20's, walking her 2 year old beside her. "They're diving looking for Lapras eggs, there's an old myth about Lapras having an underwater cave somewhere around here, and they lay their eggs in the mouth of the cave. They're trying to look now, but wouldn't be better to wait for low tide? Sometimes people are just unexplainable....." She waved, then walked towards the water to play with her son. Hm....... A myth of a secret Lapras nest? This could be something. (I'd request a Umod+ plot to go with this, for this be about as far as I can go. Had to do SOMETHING with that thing Shad created..) |

Having gotten the Zangoose from the fisherman guy, Aquos grinned at him. “Best of luck with your hunt,” she said, nodding at him, “have a nice day, will you?” After she had wished him a good day, she clicked the clasp on the Pokéball, which in turn released a white-furred creature as expected. Slightly anxious, Clavier took a step back. He snapped his jaw tightly shut, and stared straight up at the Zangoose. It was as if the little green Pokémon was challenging the creature larger than him; heck, the cat ferret Pokémon was even taller and bulkier than Aquos was. “Clavier, meet your new team-mate. He’s Requiem,” said the girl, smiling down at Clavier. She didn’t really understand Pokémon speak, but she did recognize the mild hostility within the grass-typed Pokémon’s eyes. Requiem skulked around a little, raising his claws and studying them for a moment. He was one of those quiet types, not speaking much, but always gets the job done. His small, narrowed eyes were fierce, yet the Zangoose had his feral instincts under control. Well, after that little introduction, Aquos saw fit to continue her little trek down the beach. After all, it was summer … and summer was not to be wasted upon potentially trivial matters like mild hostility, even though it could brew into something larger in the future. A moment later, the female Trainer stopped in front of a rock, where several people had and was going to dive off it. She saw nothing interesting about the rock and the sea in that particular patch, but since there were people this interested in it, there must be something behind it … “Yeah … oh, so there’s a Lapras nest somewhere here?” said Aquos, after listening to the woman’s statement. This was interesting … no wonder people were diving off the rocks to reach the next! Oh yeah, and the woman was making perfect sense … no point searching for the eggs during high tide, unless they floated up, but there’s no way that a Lapras mother would be this careless. Blinking to herself, she walked up to the water’s edge, Requiem and Clavier trailing behind her. |

It seems like you're ready to find yourself a lapras! But then again, you still have to wait for the tide to go down, yes? Well, that might take a while so why not entertain yourself with something else? I mean, there's a ton of stuff to do around the beaches of Millenia. First of all, seeing as it was high tide, it was the perfect opportunity to look for Crustacean pokemon that could be washed out from the sands thanks to the water. That could be fun, find yourself a Krabby or maybe a Corphish to help you look for lapras. Who knows, maybe a Shellder of Clampearl might wash in too! Or a Staryu! Or maybe I'm just getting ahead of myself... yeah, that's probably it. If you didn't want to go looking for pokemon, you could always just relax with your own pokemon. Maybe work on some move tutoring, or play a fun game of... something. Build a Sand Castle maybe? Whatever, it could be fun to build a stronger bond between you and your pokemon, don'cha think? Oh! Or you could sit in the sand and watch as all the couples watch the sunset and rest in one another arms... of course, that might not be the greatest plan considering you were alone right now and the chances of you finding someone right this very second were slim-to-none. Ooooh! Another thing you could do which might be more appealing is maybe ask the two guys diving if they had found anything. It was worth a shot, right? I mean, any info you could get would be useful in this situation considering there was probably some time before night rolled in. Sooo, what do you want to do? Those aren't your only options, but one of 'em might just get you a few steps closer to Lapras. |

Aquos figured that she’ll move tutor just a little first. Releasing Tempo and Canon from their Pokéballs, she smiled at Requiem, then at the two Pokémon. From her waist-pouch, she drew out some snacks and handed them to the Sentret. Happy, Tempo nibbled the biscuit, her eyes shining brightly, but dimmed slightly when she realized what might just go on after this. If Aquos was giving her some food, there had to be some ulterior motive. The Scout Pokémon glanced up at the cat ferret, and then at his yellow eyes. Seriously – that looked a tad intimidating. Canon stood by her, brave like always, but as long as he had his honey-coated paw, he was a content little creature. “Right, we’re going to learn both Fury Cutter and Fury Swipes,” said the female Trainer, grinning at everyone. Clavier hung around by her legs, assuming the role of leader almost at once. Tempo and Canon had no objections, but evidently, Requiem had a bone to pick. His pride somewhat prevented him from obeying a Pokémon much smaller than him – for now. Once Clavier evolved, he’d be larger than he was now, and his final form even larger. Requiem clicked his talons against each other fiercely. He was ready to serve this new Trainer of his; his previous Trainer had abandoned him (or so he thought), but he would not let this happen again. This mistake was simply … unforgivable within his books. Determination pumping within his veins at the same time as adrenaline, the Zangoose raised his massive claws. Happy with her little treat, Tempo proceeded to glance up at Aquos. “I need you to perform Fury Swipes, Tempo – Canon, you too. Clavier, you’re in charge of the targets,” ordered the girl, nodding at everyone. Clavier, readying his leaves, fired them into the air. They weren’t the best leaves, but they would suffice for target practice. Besides, if he fired them slightly weaker, he would be able to go at this for much, much longer. Unsheathing her claws, Tempo lunged for the nearest leaf, slashing it up with dexterity – she was the first one of Aquos's team to pick up this skill, after all. Smirking contentedly to herself, she cast her eyes over to Canon. On the other side, Canon was more of a mimic, better at emulating movements rather than thinking up his own ideas. However, when he did mimic … the bear Pokémon made sure that he followed them to a perfect T. After executing Fury Swipes, he returned to his original position, nodding politely at the newest addition to their team. “Right, Requiem – you’ve seen how it’s used. In an enraged state, you swipe at the desired target for two to five times,” said Aquos, “And with your claws, you’ll be doing a marvelous job, don’t you think? Requiem watched as the two Pokémon performed Fury Swipes. He wasn’t too impressed by their feat, especially since he reckoned that this skill wasn’t going to be too powerful on them. After all, they did not have claws like his – large and sturdy. His tail swished to the side, his legs pawing against the ground. Narrowing his eyes, he focused on the projectile heading his way. The single leaf hurtling towards him did not carry any magnitude behind it; it was almost like it was gliding through the air. Stamping his right foot on the ground, he launched himself into the air, attempting to slice through the leaf with his right claw, then the left. Two blows would suffice, Requiem reckoned. --- No matter how the move-training turned out to be, Aquos and her team now proceeded towards the rock, where the people were diving off of. There were two guys there, and if she wanted to glean some information, what better source than them? It still wasn’t too late at night – if the tide receded early enough, the Trainer planned to head down to wherever the rumored nest was, be it in the water, or on land (provided the tide receded low enough to reach there by wading). “Hey, you two!” Aquos had called towards the duo to get their attention. Requiem - learning Fury Swipes Edited by Aquos, Jul 3 2009, 06:14 AM.
