Derping... All Day, Every Day!

This seemed to be sort of dragged out now that I think about it, right? Let's see what happens next. Ryuuza didn't want to waste time. Bidoof certainly showcased all the time in the world. Again, wasting no time, your Bagon attacked with haste. Two bites and they caught the boost from Focus from the round prior to this one. When Bidoof stared at him, it was too late. Another strike! Eh, you have this anyway... Bidoof never attacks in succession. "Whoa, great job, Bidoof!" The trainer started up his cheer, no matter what. He reached and grabbed another pokeball. "To have you prepare... Go, Poliwag! Don't feel like you need to attack... Poliwag won't attack until you have a pokemon ready for it." The tadpole stretched, and made a little noise. As much as Ryuuza might be able to take it, you'll want to find a way to heal it first. Besides, it's energy is getting low. Feel free to finish off the Bidoof, though. Hmm, another idea: have a double battle to share experience if you'd like to train pokemon.

Right ... now the little dragon was down to the lower end of his hit points. Remembering all of a sudden that there was some bushes nearby, Aquos bent over and rummaged through some of them. Hopefully they would contain something for her dragon – preferably some healing berries or the like. Otherwise, he wasn’t going to last very long in this fight … well, at the same time, her opponent had complicated matters by releasing his second Pokémon, a Poliwag. Well, the girl figured she had the right Pokémon for it. Considering the small gap in difference and waving it aside as nothing too important, the Trainer nodded at the Cestar. Laughing rather rudely and loudly, Accelerando made his way onto the battlefield. The Cestar gave his friend a smirk and discharged some energy from his body. He was ready. If she now had some berries, Aquos would give it to Ryuuza to heal him. And once that was done, it was time to continue the battle~ “Ryuuza, finish off Bidoof with a Bite and use another on Poliwag. Accel, use Taunt, then charge in with a Dragon Rage … then a Thundershock.” Ryuuza – Bite on Bidoof, Bite on Poliwag Accelerando – Taunt, Dragon Rage, Thundershock (Poliwag) |

It's time to finish this battle off. Pitting Ryuuza against Bidoof, and then also having sent out Accelerando the Cestar. Before even a greeting from Cestar, Ryuuza dashed off. His eagerness to end this quarrel was at it's peak. One Bite didn't seem to be enough. Your original plan was to then divert attacks to Poliwag, but it didn't work out all the way. Biting down again, the plump mouse fainted. The Trainer grimaced, and returned the plump mouse. Ryuuza had gained 23.4 from the long battle, and he grew to Level 8, with 7.8 exp remaining. What a bummer!Cestar used Taunt, and this was all while Bagon was attacking. Poliwag would only attack him. A really strong attack followed. Dragon Rage. It has a powerful damage dealing factor. As it surprised the tadpole, it's health was slipping away from it. As Poliwag sat, trying to fight the 'Taunt', it was vulnerable. It made many noises, and tried to hit Cestar with strike, but Accelerando managed to dodge it, and blast through it with a Thundershock! It may not have done an overwhelming lot, but certainly use Dragon Rage and you can have it in no time!

Oh, this was getting mind-numbingly simple without all the additional factors such as ... well, limiting factors. Accelerando had easily and immediately slashed the tadpole's health points down by half. Past half, if the girl was to get technical. Now ... with the Bidoof down and out for the count, the two dragons were able to focus on the remaining Pokemon. Ryuuza grinned at the Cestar; he had managed to surpass him in terms of level. The other dragon wasn't fazed - after all, he just wanted to have fun. Fighting, blasting things into oblivion came second to playing with his friend. Okay, now for the Poliwag ... which they had left alone for a moment or so. With the messy Hypnosis attack hopefully out of the way, both Pokemon were relieved. No more sleeping ... and worrying about falling asleep. And Aquos too was relieved. "Accel, you can go for another Dragon Rage. Ryuuza, go for a Bite, and if that tadpole isn't finished off yet, use Thundershock, Accel." Accelerando: Dragon Rage, Thundershock if Bite doesn't finish Poliwag off Ryuuza: Bite |

The Male Trainer seemed to put his hopes quickly from Bidoof to Poliwag. But by this point in the battle, it was pointless. Poliwag was done. Especially with Dragon Rage. The move just owned anything! Weaker pokemon had no chance. Cestar opened it's mouth, charging it's Dragon fire up. Out it came, and flew into the newly contending tadpole. Without a doubt, it was done. As if racing the shot, Ryuuza had rushed in to make his mark the last, as if he wouldn't drop things without it. Standing over Poliwag, Ryuuza claimed his fainted foe. Grimacing, the man recalled Poliwag. To replace what was lost on the field, he grabbed what seemed to be two Great Balls from his pocket. "My two favorite, and strongest." With a light toss, the spheres unleashed two formidable foes. A Houndour and Scyther. As both revealed themselves in the light, you seen that they not only looked strong, but acted as if they knew it. The canine showed teeth, only to make sure they were white. Scyther scrapped his hand-scythes together. Their actions made it seem like that wanted nothing to do with you. Ryuuza gained 6.9 ![]() Accelerando gained 7.9 Your Bagon grew to Level 9, with 6.7 left over! Your Cestar grew to Level 8, with 0.9 left over!

Yes, indeed. Dragon Rage in all its rage-y goodness was completely wicked against anything weaker than the user. Of course, it did fixed damage - that was also part of the reason why it rocked against weak Pokemon. But ... back to the situation and less gawking at the power of Dragon Rage. Aquos realized that whatever the new Pokeballs contained, it would be something totally different. Perhaps more deadly, and yes, they were indeed, more deadly. A Scyther and Houndour ... it was a combination that could potentially be ... well, with her team's levels, they might be decimated easily. That aside, she recalled the two dragon Pokemon and retrieved two other Pokeballs. "Cadence, Sonata!" called Aquos, and clicked the trigger on both devices. From the first, a Charmander emerged - followed by a Shinx from the other Pokeball. The readings on her Poketech adjusted themselves as per usual to reflect the change in fighters. On her end were the Charmander and Shinx, and the other side ... was a level 17 Scyther and a level 14 Houndour. Yay. First thing, to hopefully eliminate some of the problems they might face. And then unleash some attacks to kill off one of them, then manage the other ... "Sonata, use Attract on Scyther. If the first doesn't work, try a second time, and maybe even a third time. Once you succeed, try to convince Scyther to fight for us and against Houndour. Cadence, prepare two Rock Slides and unleash it on the hellhound. If Sonata's Attract doesn't succeed, use a third against the Scyther." Sonata - Attract (Scyther; until success), try to convince Scyther to fight Houndour if successful Cadence - Rock Slide x2 (Houndour), Rock Slide (Scyther if Sonata's Attract fails) |

Calling back Bagon and Cestar was a good choice. Although, Cestar needed about two good rounds to defeat one of these badass pokemon. Well, out goes your Shinx and Charmander. They stretched, upon hitting the nice air. After tutoring, they had time to get a short but effective rest in their sphere. Anyway, Scyther and Houndour looked them over, and continued not to really pay attention. Noticing this, Shinx went right to work. Her move Attract didn't seem to do anything. Scyther was simply not paying attention. As Sonata looked at you, you sort of gave her a mental budge to try again. Doing just so, Scyther gave a glance. He thought of Shinx being stubborn, and persistent. But, to no avail, was he Attracted. On the third try, he finally gave in and looked at the entire display. She had become sort of cute, but he wasn't to involved. Giving it her all, she spoke in her language and tried to convince Scyther that he should attack Houndour. However, through his tiny attraction, his friendship deemed more valuable then his petty crush. You ultimately failed. Houndour was distracted at Scyther turning to him, and the canine waited to see what happened. He heard what Sonata wanted, and it angered him that she would turn Scyther against him as so. As his rage built up, the canine found that Scyther was much stronger. And with it, he took off towards Sonata. Scyther seemed a little shocked, and taken back. Not Houndour. As the canine rushed in, Cadence gathered a massive force and struck the ground. The force was strong enough to shoot a piece of rock up out of the ground, and towards him. Trying to stop his sprint, Houndour ultimately failed and was hit. The rock tumbled into him, and the canine went. As he got up, he quickly limped over. His front leg was hurt. With such pain, he tried to make his way back to Scyther, but Cadence did Rock Slide again. It was no match in terms of speed, and knocked over the Houndour again. This time, it didn't break anything nor injure a new leg. Just hurt immensely. But that wasn't all from this tiny lizard! One more try, and this time, the Houndour tried moving it faster. Truth is, it wasn't for him. As Houndour dove to get out of the way, it went right over him and knocked into the unexpecting Scyther. Better luck next time!

Alright, this turn has its ups and downs. Cadence had managed to fire all three of his Rock Slides without much trouble, but the current problem was his energy level. How long could he stand before his energy dropped down to the lower digits ... ? Aquos had to wonder about that, and ponder how to take this match. Sure, Accelerando could have decimated pretty much everything with Dragon Rage, but this two Pokemon needed some training. And training they shall get ... whether they faint or not. (If they faint, she'll be pretty screwed anyway.) "Sonata, I need you to try Attract on Scyther again. Try it, and get him to attack Houndour ... if not, try it a second time." That would take up two of her moves, which once again dampened the attacking force. It was just Cadence fighting now, then. "Alright, Cadence. Keep your distance from the Houndour and you should be fine - it has a wounded leg, after all. Rock Slide on it twice." Hopefully they would be able to reduce the canine to low health, and they could finish it off the next round and start attacking Scyther with Cadence's fire attacks. Considering Sonata's peaceful tendency, asking her to attack would be a little difficult ... but as long as they were fast, things should work out just fine. Of course, it was just hopes and more and more hopes, but sometimes things needed a little hope. Sonata: Attract x2 [Scyther] Cadence: Rock Slide x2 [Houndour] |

You were very persistent on trying to find a way to have Scyther attack his ally. Isn't that harsh for a nice, young girl? Well, no matter what, Sonata was trying her best. In her first attempt, Scyther seemed to show a little more affection. As Sonata was mentioning striking Houndour, he didn't give in. The trainer even cringed at the thought of how evil you seemed to be getting. Maybe his pokemon fight amongst themselves. It was all tactic, you'd say. Finally, Sonata found a breakthrough with the bug type. As if he was partially straining himself, Scyther slowly turned to Houndour, who only turned with wide eyes. The scythe-handed bug swung his limb down, striking the canine. Because of the sharp scythes, Houndour was nearly sliced open, but only suffered a cut that wasn't as deep as it's potential look appeared. Before long, a loud noise tumbled towards Houndour. You seen it was Cadence's Rock Slide. Houndour failed to see it, probably due to the shock of what had happened with Scyther. Their trainer, who was equally shocked, had his jaw dropped and was speechless. Houndour had become nearly roadkill again, with the rock plowing over him. The worse part: his hurt leg which was becoming more and more of a nuisance. As slow, or quickly, as he could, the canine regained balance but couldn't move well. Any pressure became a surge of sour pain forcing it's way into his shoulder, and eventually waves of it swaying throughout his body. He bore teeth, having the mental struggle of not being able to do anything.

Well, before delving into morally and socially correct values, Aquos was more occupied with getting the Sableye and getting her Pokemon out of there alive. Whatever the case, the girl seemed to think that the Trainer had brought this unto himself by asking her for a battle. Of course, it was sort of her fault as well for sending out two weaker Pokemon, but she never blamed herself 'cause she'd feel bad then. And she didn't want to make herself feel bad. So yeah ... do the bad thing by blaming the other guy, then come out feeling ... pretty good. Yay. Thankfully, her Poketech reported the Houndour as weakened enough. Now ... Cadence can start focusing on the Scyther while Sonata handled the Houndour. Hopefully the slight difference in level wouldn't matter as much, eh? With that in mind, Sonata rushed towards Houndour with a Bite as per Aquos' orders; if the canine didn't faint, a second Bite would be in order, if not she was ordered to use Hidden Power on Scyther. Of course, that might incur Scyther's rage, but that was what Attract was for ... defensive measures ftw. Umm ... now what? Oh yeah, Cadence. He was a little low on the energy level thing, but might as well ask him to use a Rock Slide or two on the bug-type Pokemon. Sonata: Bite on Houndour, another Bite if it doesn't faint; if it does, Hidden Power on Scyther Cadence: Rock Slide x2 on Scyther |

Getting right on track, Houndour was getting very low on health. Sonata noticed this, and you changed up your tactics along with it. Instead of using Attract, you're using Bite. All is well, because Sonata got to rush up and use Bite once, damaging the canine. However, dark moves are halved. But I think it is a good time to use this move to just slowly finish it off. With another, before the hound could get to you, and it fainted. Moving on to Cadence, he used Rock Slide twice on Scyther. Two giant rocks erupted from the ground, and rolled towards the Scyther. When the first hit, it dazed Scyther a little, making it more vulnerable for the second. Didn't help that Scyther was very effected by the typing of the moves. However, no matter how much I tried to boost the sounding of Rock Slide up, the factor that Cadence was so many levels behind Scyther didn't help. The only good part was that it turned into a two-on-one and Scyther had flinshed. "Damnit, you're winning quicker then I thought it would be. But now face the strength of my Scyther. Well, as soon as he snaps out of this ordeal of flinching." The trainer tried to boast about level of Scyther, but you knew it had no game in the way of battling. The only thing left to do is either use both to attack, or call out one of the stronger pokemon you have to quicken things up. Of course, it'd be good exp if you just kept these two out.

"Will he?" Aquos asked almost innocently, her face expressionless. However, she smiled as she shrugged; what she said would be of no use. After all, she'll have her Pokemon knock out the Scyther - and if she apologized after that, she'd just seem like a playground bully. Well, trumping someone with Attract wasn't a legit move either, but like before, the girl wasn't questioning it one bit. Not at all, no. With Cadence's Rock Slide and Sonata's Hidden Power, this match would be over ... in some time. Despite the effective moves and all, it just wasn't a super-killer because of the difference in level. Taking note of Cadence's dwindling energy level, she calmly issued her orders. "Cadence, use two Rock Slides, and Sonata, use Attract once then Hidden Power," she said, taking care to make sure that Scyther's infatuation - however brief - did not fade. Of course, if she could subdue and make Scyther not fight altogether, she'd do it ... but a battle was a battle, once challenged and started. Flawed logic, yes; lessened determination, no. Well, she was just in this for the experience points. Evolving her Pokemon so that she could scale new heights ... yeah, she hoped that would be the best thing to do, but it seemed that having fun came first. And yes, she was most definitely having fun now. (Beating up other Trainers with weaker Pokemon, wtf.) Sonata: Attract, Hidden Power Cadence: Rock Slide x2 |

The trainer grimaced. Scyther didn't seem to show interest in attacking Shinx, but eyed Charmander. While that doesn't sound too bad, Shinx would eventually have to go down too. Though, Scyther was his last pokemon to use. He couldn't use Sableye and send this girl a fainted pokemon. Trying to find a usable tactic, the male called out some commands. However, trying to keep the Scyther spun around Shinx's paw, she used another Attract. This time, it came easier. Scyther nearly had petit hearts in his eyes for Sonata. But as it seemed, she then charged up Hidden Power, the move she just learned and finally went to put it to the test. As the orbs shot for Scyther, the trainer could slowly see Scyther becoming more known that Shinx wanted to still hurt him. Their love would slowly tear apart. The orbs bombarded him, and before acting, Scyther was run over with a boulder from Rock Slide. "Scyther, get up and attack! Shinx preferably." The bug type got up and looked at both Shinx and Charmander. He had a crush on Shinx, and didn't care for the lizard. As his attraction remained in contact, Scyther put his eyes on Charmander. Using his wings for not flight, but speed, Scyther started to hover quickly to Cadence, who before he could be hit, used Rock Slide again. It took a moment or two for the Scyther to regain balance. The rocks were throwing him off, but this time he'd make a mark. Using Strike, Scyther left a heavy deal of damage on Charmander for one hit, before returning back to his side of the field. "I will get Shinx out of the way... somehow." The trainer raised his voice so you could here him swearing to get Shinx with at least one attack.

Oh, what the heck. This battle was taking too long ... much too long for impulsive and a tad impatient Aquos. There was no way, no way in the world that she would stand here, amongst bushes and trees while her Pokemon battled an almost impossible fight against a Scyther. Cadence's energy levels were dropping by the minute and attack count, while Sonata's own energy levels weren't looking too pretty either. With Scyther's bothersome ability activated, it would be a rather uphill task for them to ... hey, why not just cut the Attract and have more pew pew? "And perhaps your Scyther would get you out of the way?" Aquos suggested almost too innocently, but let the subject slide. After all, it was not in her best intentions to turn a Pokemon against its master. Okay, the thought had previously crossed her mind, but she had dismissed it. After all, it was the thought that counts. ... Perhaps it wasn't the thought, but Aquos thought that she'd better stop confusing herself and turned back to the battle. Yeah, the battle~ go go go. "Cadence, use a Rock Slide - if a second one dampens too much of your energy level, use an Ember. Sonata, use two Hidden Powers. And stay out of the way of those nasty, nasty blades." Cadence: Rock Slide, Rock Slide again if energy level permits, Ember if it doesn't Sonata: Hidden Power x2 |

Joukai Pass The battle was at least getting low, right? Well, we're trying. Charmander started off using Rock Slide, which caused a rock to come close, but Scyther was prepared this time. It sound of moves, but the leg was knocked aside. The damage was still all the same, though. Examining it's foot, Scyther received a nasty boulder to the body, but Ember would have, in fact, done closely the same amount of damage. Scyther was basically overwhelmed, each round, with the boulders and rock power. However, Cadence was just too low of a level to do real harm. But Sonata was another story, as her Hidden Power built up and fired. The area around you seemed to get hit as well, and slowly but surely, holes were made all over and you really came to see them. And again, the Hidden Power happened, making more holes and hitting Scyther. It was about time he started feeling the effects of the Ice, as his hurt leg began to shiver, and you noticed it wasn't a pain shiver, but a cold shiver. "Scythe, Scyther!" The giant scythe-handed pokemon hovered over, staying off of his leg, and swatted at the, not the lizard, but Shinx! As he raised he hand to her again, something was seemingly holding him back. The Trainer in the background urged him to go forth with it. After a dramatic pose of nearly bringing his scythe down, he finally felt exhausted and hovered back. Now, thank god you had used Attract on him, or else he would've just hurt you even further. But now at the end of this round, you realized that the affection he had was slowly decreasing. One more round with just Cadence hitting him with two Rock Slides will do, but maybe it isn't the best due to energy. Finish this Scyther off!
