Joshua stiffened in suprise as the Pulse appeared out of the ball. He swore the the trainer had thrown the Makuhitia's ball in the bin. Today certainly had its suprises, that said most of them had been good. He watched with interest as the Minun and Pulse chatter away they were quite cute. If he culd capture them or get them to join his team that would be great. They would work great along side Rose. That might be easier said than done however they seemed to like each other if he could ge one he might get teother n the bargain. Just then the Minun and Pulse turned to him and started chittering away. From what he deduced they were wrried about the Makuitia and wanted to go after him.

Joshua stopped to think about it, he could not just leave the Makuhiti to the trainer. On the other hand he had no idea where he went. Plus he was not sure what he could actually do if he caught the guy. That said their was no way he could live with himself if he did not try. "Ok I will try and get your freind back," he said to the Minun and Pulse. He turned and looked down the way the trainer had run off. He had no idea where to start but he guessed that way might be a good idea. Maybe some kids down their would know him. "Ok guys, ... and girls lets go. Rose walk in front and split the crowd please. Maybe we can find that trainer and get you a new freind," Joshua said.

Minun and Plusle both chirped happily. They gave each other a hug, then both turned and grasped each of your legs. Not only do you have unnecessary weight, but it's friendly weight! Jokes aside, you now have two powerful partners at hand, but I don't think they're built for fighting. Keep that in mind, because a fainted friend isn't what you want. With the Plusle and Minun death-hugging you, it was a little tricky to walk without one of them crying out. Eventually you found out how to walk without them whining. Hurrah!

You walked along until you came across a playground. Despite it being built for the little tykes and toddlers, there were plenty of kids your age out and about. These teenagers were battling, and they were playing for keeps. Winning money for wins, losing a lot for losing. That's the way the game goes. Anyway, there were people, lots of them, and they looked they could spot an outsider in minutes.

Hey, I guessed right. As I suspected, there was a girl, about 15, walking your way. Her hair was blonde and kind of poofy, and she looked... well, mean. Like she was going to kick your ass kind of mean. As she stepped over to you, she looked you over one time and said, "You look nosy. What do you want from us?"

She meant business, dude. Better answer her with straightforward answers, especially because all the other kids behind her were heading this way to back her up. I'd be nice and play along, because I'm sure I spotted a Swampert in one of those battles going on.

Joshua looked down at the two pokemon clinging to his legs. If he did manage to catch them they were staying in their pokeballs. Walking without them whining was almost impossible but he some how managed it. Walking along he surveyed a playground full of teenagers. Their were a lot of them and they were all battling, most of them looked damn good to. However he could not see the guy he was looking for. Maybe that was a good thing becuase if he was freinds with these kids he had no chance of saving the Makuhitia. Joshua watched the girl walk up to him she looked around 15 and was a bit shorter than him. She clearly thought she was tougher than him maybe he could use that to his advantage.

"I didn't mean to come nosing around I am just looking for someone. He has something I want and doesn't deserve it. If you know where he is tell me and ill be on my way," he said eyeing the girls freinds. He could be in a lot of trouble if this turned bad. Suddenly this whole rescue seemed like a very bad idea. Rose was good but some of the kids pokemon were a heck of a lot tougher. Hopefully they would give him the information and let him be on his way. Though he doubted that would happen and started looking for a way to escape shoul he need it.

The girl met your gaze. Sniffing, she looked at you, then her 'people'. Tapping one foot lightly, she looked up at you and said, "Two-hundred. Even. You want to find him, you'll pay up."

It seems she wasn't joking around. She stopped tapping her foot, but still held her gaze. It seemed this wasn't a ruse or an April Fool's joke. No one could keep a straight face that long. Sucks, too, because something awful might befall that poor Makuhita!

And just as you decided to start mapping an escape route, a boy that was about 3 or 4 inches taller than you noticed you glancing around. Slowly, him and maybe three other people started inching around to behind you. Looks like your plan to run if need-be was demolished.

"Yeah, I saw you," The guy who started the block-off said from behind. "You aren't getting away from Dannielle when she starts spittin' prices. Best you pay up." Seems she's not the only one demanding cash. Although it's almost all of your cash, it may be worth it for the Makuhita and revenge on that awful kid.

Looking back at the girl, she was starting to reach for a Poke Ball. The odds of her being the Swampert owner from before aren't that slim, seeing as she's only one of 8 people. Good luck!

Joshua tapped his finger agaisnt his left leg. Being surronded was making him nervous, this was clearly just not his day. He needed to catch up to the trainer and these teenagers were just wasteing his time. They thougt they were so cool, in essence they were just bullies. He had no way to escape now so he would have to pay. But he only had 300 so if he paid what she wanted he would have almost nothing left. His best course he thought would be to haggle. But he had to watch out he did not offend the group that could have a nasty end. He was willing to pay 150 but he knew if he just said that he would get no where.

"Thats way to much i will give you 100," he said deciding on a course of action. He watched the rest of the circle. He just hoped he could talk his way out of this otherwise he would have to win a third battle today. He put his hand on Roses shoulder. Now he thought about it he was not sure if Rose could handle another battle. So it was all up to him to talk his way out of this. Rose had done so well earlier today it was up to him to hold up his end.

The girl thought it through for a moment and then scoffed. "No, I want three hundred now since you're wasting my time." Her posse began to snicker and glance at you with humored expressions. They started moving closer to you and some of the boys began cracking their knuckles in anticipation. Minun and Plulse could sense something was wrong. The two pokemon attached to your legs began to tremble. This whole situation wasn't too good and it was about to get 100 times worse. Minun and Pulse suddenly stopped trembling and jumped from your legs. With a synchronized breath the two pokemon emitted a thunder wave. The electrical pulses began surging through the group as members dropped like flies, paralyzed. All but one.

After the attack only one person stood back up, the leader. She snarled furiously and her hair now resembled an Afro from the static. Grabbing the poke ball the young woman had been touching earlier, she released the pokemon. In a flash of red light her companion was revealed. A Bibarel. What a relief but either way, this was still a strong pokemon. The girl began to stumble a little and then speak angrily. "You've asked for it dude. I'm not gonna hold back, you better hit me with all you've got!" You've got your hands full and it would be wise to finish before the others can overcome the paralysis. Before you could even react, Minun and Plusle stepped forwards and looked back to you for orders. "Min?" "Plu?"

Joshua grimaced as the girl raised her price this was not going well, he could not afford that price. But he had to find out where that trainer went. If he left the Makuhiata in the trainer's grasp he doubted he would be able to sleep at night. He then snapped back to reality and stiffened in shock as the Minun and Plusle dropped the teenagers surronding him with a thunder wave. "Hmmmpphh You don't know who your messing kid," he said. "Lets get this over with bullies like you annoy me and I have already had one hell of a day."

He folded his arms and called out to his Pokémon, "Ok team lets keep this quick and simple. Plusle use Thunder Wave and then Growl open it up for Minun and Rose. Minun I want you to use Growl then Quick Attack. Move quickly and keep out of its reach. Try to keep it distracted till Rose can move in for the KOl." He stopped for a breath and to think about what Rose should do. The Bibarel was fairly strong but he had 3 Pokémon it was hardly a fair fight. He looked at Rose, "Ok Rose lets do this, Use leer to unsettle it and then focus energy. After that move in and use low kick try to stay out of reach and aim at vital areas when you have a chance," he whispered to her and stood back folding his arms. He hoped everything worked out, he did no want to visit the Pokémon center so soon into his journey.

I'd be a little bit careful with your spelling and grammar here, DeadShot.

I must admit - to say that the Plusle and Minun aren't even yours, they sure are willing to help you out! If anything, they're life-savers - now you only have one opponent to deal with rather than seven or eight. "You sure have weak pokémon for somebody who talks so tough! Bibarel! Hit that Plusle with a Rollout! the girl yelled, realising that the cheering pokémon with the minus signs upon it was the weakest of the three pokémon that she was facing.

The Bibarel merely nodded his head, stepping back a couple of steps to give himself some leverage to start the move - before curling up into a ball and rolling towards Plusle with speed. Sadly, the cheering pokémon hadn't realised that the Bibarel was aiming for him, and was struck full on by the rolling beaver pokémon - and was forced backwards and into your legs. That was going to hurt in the morning - if he made it through this.

Much to your chagrin, your allied Plusle had entirely forgotten what the hell he was meant to be doing - and as such, Minun and Rose were on their own for the time being. However, since both pokémon were of a type that were strong against Bibarel, it wasn't going to be too bad.

Despite being a wild pokémon, the Minun took total notice of your commands, giving a cute growl towards the rolling Bibarel - which may as well have been directed towards a wall. The cheering pokémon then darted forwards, aiming to strike the Bibarel with a Quick Attack - but all he succeeded in doing was being hit by the rolling beaver pokémon in a similar vein to his ally, Plusle.

"Your pokémon are absolutely useless, kid! the girl yelled, watching her Bibarel roll around the field of play with increasing speed. However, due to the general idiotic nature of the beaver pokémon, Bibarel was unaware of the attractions of the playground - and as such, managed to roll straight into the base of the swings. That had to hurt. "You stupid, stupid pokémon!!!" she yelled, slamming her hands straight into her face - why had she chosen such a stupid pokémon as her partner?

Thankfully, it was now time for your Machop to make her move - though it was clear that she no longer needed to stare at the beaver pokémon. After all, the Bibarel was unsettled enough already. As she took a close look at the dazed pokémon, Machop merely decided to focus her energy to heighten her awareness of her surroundings - before unleashing a low kick upon the hapless beaver pokémon.

Like Plusle and Minun before him, Bibarel flew into the air with the greatest of ease - before striking straight into the base of the swings again. "What the hell are you playing at, Bibarel? Get up and kick the living crap out of those worthless little runts!" the female trainer yelled, having seemingly lost all rational thought within her head - whether her Bibarel could hear her was another story altogether. After all, he did seem a little dazed.

You seem to have the upper hand, Joshua - make the most of it.

Sorry I forgot to run it through the word spell checker. I wont forget next time

"This is not going well," Joshua thought to himself. All he could do was watch in horror as the Bibarel rolled around flattening the Minun and Plulse. All his fears were coming true in this battle, he realised now he could be way over his head. He knelt down to wear the Plusle had been knocked against his leg. "Are you alright little fella," he asked concerned. He had been hoping to get through this battle without any of his Pokémon getting seriously hurt but know that seemed like Mission Impossible.

He stood back up just in time to catch the Bibarel rolling straight into the base of the swings. "Finally some good luck for our side," he thought with a smile on his lips. He let out a small cheer as Rose kicked the Bibarel up into the air. "Great work Rose, I knew i could count on you." He was starting to feel better about this battle now. He had the upper hand now all he had to do was keep it. As Bibarel feel back down to earth and struck the playground again he had an idea.

He stepped forward and pointed at his opponent. "Yet again you underestimate my Pokémon, bigger does not always mean better," he said. He ignored her tantrum and turned to Rose and the two cheering Pokémon. " Ok gang here is what I want you to do. Minun, Plulse stay away for the Bibarel it is to big for you to effectively attack it. Instead i want you both to use Thunder Wave any time it gets up. Knock it off its feet and leave if at Rose's mercy. Rose I want you to keep using low kick, but try and aim so you will kick him into the play ground objects. That way you might do some extra damage and keep him dazed. And whatever you do make sure it cannot start rolling again," he ordered them quietly. He stood back and crossed his arms again. Hopefully it worked but judging by the Bibarels first move this was going to be a tough battle.

"Plu!" the cheering pokémon muttered, picking herself up from your leg - whilst it was clear that she was keen to have you as her trainer, she knew that her main priority was to defeat the beaver pokémon that was now slightly dazed from hitting the base of the swing twice in the sapce of a few seconds - not that it was going to keep the Bibarel down for long.

"Yet again you underestimate my Pokémon, bigger does not always mean better," you mocked, incensing your foe even more - you annoy anymore and she might just come over to you and smack you in the face. Whether she does or not is a different story - and one that you hope would end up being the latter of the two options.

As you gave out your instructions, your female opponent merely stared at her pokémon in disbelief - just how was she losing this battle? "Bibarel! Hit those two mice with a Tackle!" she yelled, watching as the beaver pokémon finally picked himself up to receive the instructions from his trainer - he realised that he had made a huge mistake by following the inital instructions by using Rollout. Whilst he could attack with it, the momentum was far too much for him to control.

However, he didn't even have a chance to get anywhere near the two cheering pokémon - as your allied Plusle and Minun combination launched a frighteningly strong Thunder Wave attack, that struck the hapless beaver pokémon for six! Due to the intensity of the electric attack, Bibarel ended up being paralyzed - and to add insult to injury, had taken a slight bit of damage! "You stupid beaver! Why the **** did I even bother training you if you're going to act like you're on holiday?!?!" the female trainer yelled, becoming even more agitated with you.

Soon enough, she was going to be extremely hacked off with you - as your Machop began to ready up yet another Low Kick attack to strike the paralyzed beaver pokémon. As your Machop unleashed the fighting type attack, the Bibarel was launched into the air once again - but this time, rather than being flung into another playground item, was flung straight into his own trainer!!! That had to hurt! "You son of a *****!!!" your opponent screamed, wincing from the pain she had suffered from the attack.

Good job with taking the initative here, Joshua - your move.

It was hard to keep himself from bursting out into an idiotic grin with the events that were folding out in front of him. The girl had completely lost it, he would not be surprised if she ignored the battle and tried to take a swing at him. On second thoughts maybe that was not such a good thing, it would probably be good for his health if he kept his mouth shut from now on.

Joshua experienced a moment of doubt as the beaver Pokémon climbed back to its feet. But he need not have worried as Plusle and Minun launched thier attack. He grinned at the two Pokémon as the thunder wave knocked the Bibarel right off his feet. "That was the best thunder wave i have ever seen or will ever seen you two good work," he said. He could not help but be proud of them, he knew now he definitely wanted them as part of his team. In fact it took quite some doing to keep himself from mocking her some more.

He was already planning his next moves when Rose used he low kick to launch the Bibarel into the yet again. He winced as it smashed into its trainer, more for the Pokémon than the girl. "Umm Rose try not to hit the trainer next time. Apart from that it was great work," he said somewhat sheepishly. He had this battle in his hands so it was time to do a bit of experimenting.

"Ok Guys, and girls of course lets finish this. Minun use quick attack now to make sure it stays down for now. Plusle use thunder wave again but this time aim for the playground. Rose use low kick again and aim for the play ground again if you can," he called out to his battle team. If all worked as planned the thunder wave would hit the metal and stay their long enough for Rose to kick the beaver Pokémon into and sock him. If it did not work the Bibarel still suffered damage so it was a win win move.

Onward! We got a world to take over!

The girl... with a bit more cursing kicked bibarel off her... and kicked him hard. Damaging him!!! Holy, miltank... you might win because of this trainers sharp temper and short tongue... I mean short temper and sharp tongue. Boy, fail. Anyways, back in the game. Bibarel reluctantly steps up to the plate to take another beating... or was it going to actually fight well this time around?

The bibarel was sick and tired of all this crap. It was not about to be pushed over so easlilly again... and his trainer had the same thoughts. "BIBAREL! We are winning this, do you hear me, you furry little failure?! Time to use those TMs that I apparently wasted on you. Dig, Bibarel... DIG!! Then come up and use blizzard hit as many twerps as possible!" She shouted, her voice hot as a flaming pepper. Bibarel plunged under the earth and proceeded with dig. The ground seemed somewhat unfriendly because the beaver could lurk anywhere... and then strike. Suddenly, the ground under minun's feet trembled. Before you could even say "Get out of there!", the ground cracked open, releasing the big fat opponent. Minun took double damage due to weakness and went flying into plusle. The two rammed into each other and tumbled against a tree.

The beaver took advantage of this and fired blizzard at the trapped twosome. At first it looked like a couple of white dots leisurely floating from the mouth of your foe.. but it took only seconds for the real storm to heat up... or in the case of blizzard it would be cool down. A swift and violent gust of burningly cold wind was hurled at the two thunder Pokemon... and this wind carried snow and the ability to create ghastly ice. The poor pokemon were blasted with this horrid wave of ice. They took big damage... and soon a giant block of ice formed around the base of the tree... concealing your companions in thick ice. Machop, aware it had to make into hands, flew over to the beaver with low kick... the kick landed perfectly on target. Bibarel shot up and landed in the sand box. The sand got in it's right eye-- temporarily blinding it.

Joshua glared at the trainer as she kicked her Pokémon was this city filled with people had no respect for the Pokémon. When he thought about it, it should not surprise him these teenagers had no respect for anyone let alone their Pokémon. "You really should have more respect for your Pokémon," he called out to her barely keeping his temper in check. He was going to finish this battle quickly and go after that trainer.

However it was not going to prove that simple and his jaw dropped as the Bibarel disappeared into the ground with a spray of earth. "Well that was unexpected, so much for my plan," he thought to himself. He looked around trying to figure out where the Bibarel was going to pop up. Just then the ground started to tremble beneath Minun. "Watch out Minun," he called out as the beaver shot out of the ground into the cheering Pokémon. He cursed under his breath as the Bibarel froze them both with a blizzard. "You’re going to regret that."

He turned to Rose, "Alright Rose this battle has gone on long enough time for you to claim your victory," he said to her. "I want you to use low kick first and then try to prevent him from digging again. But if he does I want you to climb under the swing away from the ground so he can't hit you. Have you got that?" The fighting Pokémon nodded and turned to face the beaver Pokémon. He glanced at the frozen lump of ice that was the Minun and Plulse he hoped they were ok but he could not check now. He had to finish this battle and get out of here. He could find a Pokémon centre after he caught up with that other trainer.

Just be a little careful with grammar a little, ok? Other than that, no problems.

"You really should have more respect for your Pokémon," you called out, seemingly unable to keep your temper in check - if you want to annoy her even more, you're going the right way about it. Either way, what does it matter? It's not as if she actually cares about her Bibarel anyway - Dannielle, like most teenagers, sees her pokémon as a battling machine that has no feelings! Maybe you should teach her the real way to treat her pokémon - if she lets you.

"Don't tell me how to treat my pokémon, shrimp! You've got no right!" she yelled, again furious that you had decided to stick your nose in where she believed it didn't belong. "Bibarel! Use Blizzard again on that Machop!" the female trainer yelled, knowing that it made a huge difference to the match the last time that her pokémon used it - and that would hopefully do the same thing again.

However, what she had forgotten was that her Bibarel had sand in his eyes - and as such, his aim was off by some margin. Rather than striking your Machop, he had instead aimed the Blizzard towards his own trainer! "What are you...do..." Dannielle yelled, trying to slate her pokémon for missing his target so badly - however, as she began to speak, it became clear that like Plusle and Minun before her, she was freezing! That was certainly going to make things easier - it wasn't going to help you find that Makuhita mind...

Either way, you'll come to that road when you beat that Bibarel! Naturally obliging to produce the finishing blow, your Machop darted forward into the sandbox, delivering yet another Low Kick to the beaver pokémon - which finally finished it off!!

So what now? Surely capturing the two cheering pokémon would be of some use now? And what about Dannielle and that Bibarel?

Ok I will do my best. I think the grammar is ok in this one. Nothing is showing up in words grammar check. The only other thing I could do would be get another member/mod to check it before I post.

"Look who the shrimp is now. Make a nice appetizer for some Pokémon out there.," Joshua commented to the frozen Dannielle as Rose finished off the Bibarel. Now what was he going to do, with Danielle frozen he had no way to get the information he needed. Not to mention he was in the middle of a circle of paralysed teenagers with a fainted Minun and a frozen Plusle. Sighing he fingered one of the poke balls on his belt. What should he do now; he had to get Danielle to tell him where the trainer was. He was in quite a pickle here. First he had to help the Minun and Plusle, get them to a Pokémon centre. But he could not carry them both all that way. He looked down at the poke ball he was stroking and a grin started to form on his face.

"Sorry Guys I wanted to give you a chance to join on your own accord but this is the only way forward I can see," he said more to himself than the two cheering Pokémon. Mostly because they were both frozen and one knocked out. Pulling two poke balls from his belt he threw them at the Pokémon. One for the Minun, and one for the Plusle. He turned to Rose with a large smile on his face, "Great job Rose but now we have to get out of here. Would you be able to carry Dannielle for me?" He would take the Minun and Plusle along with Danielle to the nearest Pokémon centre. Get the two cheering Pokémon fixed up and the trainers location from the bratty teenager.
