Slick as oil, dark as the night. No money shall escape your sight! Let those who tremble fear your might! Rah, rah, rah, the thief's light!

What, I enjoy comics. They make my day. STOP LAUGHING. Now then, you're in Millenia Town, whoop-de-do. Let's go rob the bank or something and have Question come conspiracy your ass. Anyways, you're here and waiting for something. Will the police bust your ass or will you be alone for a bit? Either, it's getting dark and maybe you should find some shelter for the night. As long as you don't rob them beforehand. Really, I'm trying here.

But lo and behold, something comes scampering out of an alley. It gives its shoulder a lick real quick before glancing at you with some pretty sly eyes. A bracelet jingles around one paw and it takes a second to admire the pretty pretty shiny shiny. Well now, there's a thief for you. It might become an invaluable asset if it's able to steal a bracelet like that from someone. Although, it could have been really obvious about the whole thing but the people gave up chasing it. Either way, you get a thief or a punching bag if you want to confront it.

Never during this battle did Marche think that happened was going to happen. The male in the couple brought out a gun and pointed it at the little . He then saw the man fall down and a Machop appeared right behind him. Thank God for the little 's brother for showing up. Not to long after the police were here too. Apparently the couple has been wanted for a few years now. Not that much of a surprise but Marche did get paid for it. A nice $300 was given to him for the reward and it was going to come in handy later on.

Marche then took out a Pokeball from his pocket and offered it to the Meowth. He didn't want to force him into joining but offering was the next best thing. The Meowth would become a major asset to his team.

"Meowth, you were amazing. I would like you to join our team. I'm sure Montblanc would too." Marche said to the cat-like Pokemon.

He was then offered a battle from the little 's brother but he had to kindly refuse. The battle has already taken a lot of valuable time from him and he needed to heal him Pokemon and get some sleep. All of which would be done once the Meowth accepted or declined his offer. Once he did either, he was out of here and would head to the Pokemon Center.

The Meowth looked at the you with that little face you see on most kittens and cats when they are worn out from running or playing too long. Believe me, I have one. The Meowth looked at you a bit deciding on what it wanted to do. The cat was wild after all, but after that battle it had with you, it felt like he couldn't refuse. The Meowth smiled and nodded to you happily. Looks like that was a yes and you just received a new Pokemon. How cool huh?

"Meeow!"

The meowth purred happily as he rubbed his head along your legs like normal cats. This cat liked you. How sweet. Now back to the trainer with the Machop. He wasn't too happy about you declining his offer to battle, but he understood and agreed to your choice. The Machop folded its arms and just stared at you, it really wanted to battle.

"Well, thank you anyways. It was really nice of you. Maybe we can battle sometime. You can find us around here whenever, so just feel free to stop by when you like."

With that, the boy, his Machop and his little sister walked along the path of the city where the three of them once stood was now empty. Now it was time for you to find a nearby Pokemon Center. Best hurry if you wanna get there! With a rush, you and the Meowth ran along the city while as your Natu was happily flying beside you. Hey look up ahead. You could see the Pokemon Center right in front of you!

Once you entered the Pokemon Center, Nurse Joy stood there ready to greet you.

"Welcome to the Millenia Town Pokemon Center. We'll be happy to take your Pokemon and heal them for you." She said.

A couple of Chansey walked over and guided your Pokemon, however the Meowth at first didn't want to go, this was still all so new to him. Finally one of the Chansey's were capable of convincing the cat to go and off they went. Now you were alone in the Pokemon Center. What were you going to do?

Suddenly out of the corner of your ear you could hear someone complaining about something to a few others. They didn't seem pretty nice though.

"Yeah so what? I hatched an egg into a baby Stunky but it wouldn't listen to me because all it would do was play and try and get me to play with it. I'm not a game person! I'm a gambler and a hunter! If that Stunky won't listen to ME, good riddance." The guy yelled.

"So wha'dya do with th' baba Stunkay?" The less fluent guy asked.

"Oh that cry baby? I threw her off and left her in a hole in the trunk near the center of Joukai Pass. It's probably starving but who cares right?"

How cruel? A baby Pokemon just a few days old, not even used to living on its own yet. What were you gonna do about it huh? Leave it be as well? Go up to the guy and talk to him? Be friendly? Or go out and try to rescue the little fella? That was your choice so you choose whatever you want. That baby could probably be starving right now and perhaps die soon.

Marche was excited. He had a new Meowth on his team and everyone was fully healed. Things were going great until he overheard some guy talking about a baby Pokemon that he left out to starve. Now that was just mean. Even if the poor Stunky wasn’t listening to orders, it was just a baby and all it wanted was to play, not battle. Marche had to do something before it starved. He walked up to the guy that was telling the story and began to yell at him.

“I don’t care if it wanted to kill you. That poor Pokemon is just a baby and you had no right to leave it alone.” Marche yelled at him.

Marche walked out of the Pokemon Center and tried to recall where the man said he left the Pokemon. Somewhere in the Pass that is between Nogou Village and Kijutsu City. Nogou wasn’t the worst place in the world but it was filled with hippies and they would probably drive him insane. Looks like it’s time to leave Millenia and head to the pass by Route 5. Marche heard rumors about that route and it was filled with strong Pokemon. Maybe Marche would get lucky and find a strong ghost type to add to his team in this night filled area. Time will be the only thing that could tell and it was time to get heading for that Stunky that was his first priority right now.

Oh wow. You just walked right up and confronted that guy? That was pretty, idiotic. That guy was now officially p'oed at you for doing that. Before him or any of the other guys could get up and smack you down you had already grabbed your Pokemon and left the Pokemon Center. That was not a smart idea but it was really brave to try and save that Stunky so points for you!

"Who's that kid think he is. He wants to waste his time on that Stunky then so be it. I could care less, but if he thinks he can act all so tough around me and think he's better than me, he better think again!"

The guy was angry. With shock, the guy got up and ran out the door right after you. You best keep moving fast before he finds you. Being as big as he is, he isn't that fast so you've got a better chance of keeping your distance. Anyways, back to Joukai Pass. You've made there but you haven't found anything. It's so unusual to not find anything because there are so many Pokemon in this pass that you can't stop battling I think anyways.

As you travel you begin to hear a cry. Could it be the Stunky? It was such a small cry that you would mainly hear from babies only. As you continued on to find the Stunky you stumble upon a few grass Pokemon that begin to block your way. They're trying to keep you from the baby. You best try and convince them you're not bad. If that don't work, I don't know what to tell you but battle. So what are you going to do. You better think fast because if that guy gets a hold of you, you're doomed for a long time.

Well, that was rather different. The walk through Route 5 went rather fast and Marche didn't even see one Pokemon. Rather boring if you ask me. But there might be a different reason for that. Besides, he was on a mission to save the abandoned Stunky from starvation. Weather the man chasing him wanted Marche to or not. Either way, he knelt down to the gass Pokemon that were trying to stop him and began to speak to them.

"Listen, I'm just trying to help that poor Pokemon down there from starving. That man chasing me is the one that wants to do harm. Probably to all of you. Now, if you will just let me get some of this food to the Stunky, I will then help you by stopping the angry man." Marche said to the grass Pokemon.

Hopefully they were a very understanding group and would let him get some food to the Stunky. He then called out Montblanc and Llednar, the Meowth. He pulled out the Pokemon food from his backpack and poured some out for all the Pokemon. One pile for the three grass Pokemon, one for Montblanc and one for Llednar. That should be enough for everyone right now. Once the grass Pokemon let him, he would pour some out for the Stunky too. Let's just hope everything works out right for once.

The grass types growled at you for a moment, but could you blame them? Humans could be pretty ruthless and untrustworthy to pokemon. They saw the food you put out and weren't going to eat it, for all they knew it could've been poison. But then the baby Stunky smelled the food. She slowly got up, sniffled back a few tears, and walked up to the food. After a moment she started eating it! The other pokemon were astonished! They looked like they were having trouble deciding what to do. Finally, they decided that if the food was good enough for Stunky it was good enough for them.

Montblanc and Llednar were happily eating their food as well. All was well. After a minute or two the Stunky stopped eating and walked up to you. She nuzzled softly against your leg. Aww, so cute! It looks like you've got a new partner. Everything was so peaceful here. The sun setting created the most beautiful atmosphere for this picture perfect scene. You with your pokemon, your new friend, and these lovely grass types all enjoying a wonderful evening.

Then disaster struck. "You! I finally caught up to you!" It was that loud from before. What did he want? "You think you can talk to me like that? Do ya? I'll teach you some manners!" Well, this was just wonderful. Here comes the big dumbass to ruin a perfect moment. He took out a pokeball and released his pokemon. In a flash of red appeared...

"Scyther!" The man's Scyther dashed forward, and with three swift movements, he slashed all three grass types! They weren't knocked out, but they were too afraid to attack. Then the Scyther turned to you. He had a wicked grin on his face. So did his trainer. "Good thing I found that X-Scissor TM! It's really useful. Now I' gonna use it to take you out!" Well, it didn't look like you had much choice here. His Scyther was fast enough to catch you if you ran and strong enough to slice you right in half. I see no other way than to battle. The baby Stunky looked angry to see her old trainer. She hissed at him then got into a fighting stance. Looks like she's ready to fight too.

It was beginning to turn out to be a beautiful evening for Marche, his Pokémon, and the added company. It soon took a turn for the worse when a familiar face showed up. It was the guy that Marche saw in the Pokémon Center and he wanted revenge for being yelled at. Honestly, the guy didn't have a right to try and get revenge but I guess it was his decission on what he wanted. But, it looked like he wanted to get revenge with a rather strong Scyther. Hopefully this battle won't be too challenging for his team of lower-leveled Pokémon.

"Stunky, you're too young to be fighting in this battle. I want you to stay behind me and try to be calm. Llednar, use Growl on the Scyther and then Bite down on it and use Scratch but wait until Montblanc is done before you use the Bite. Montblanc, use Leer on it and then use Night Shade Twice. Hopefully this will lower the Scyther's health and stats by a lot." Marche said to the Pokémon.

It was a good plan and hopefully the Scyther didn't know any moves that could wipe his Pokémon out in one attack. Marche was hoping that this battle didn't take too much time. He wanted to go out and lood for some Ghost-type Pokémon that would make breaking-and-entering much easier. That and a good Fighting-type would be great too. Hopefully all these things could get done rather quickly.

Stunky looked up at you and she looked pretty angry. But she knew you were right so she stepped back. She's pretty smart for a baby. Llednar and Montblanc immediately began to act out their orders. Scyther didn't have the time to dodge the incoming Growl, and Montblanc's Leer his right at the same time. "Scyther, use Agility and dodge those attacks! Then use a Pursuit on the Natu!" Scyther's speed rose a notch and he dodged the first Night Shade, but the second hit perfectly. Llednar took this chance to dive in for the Bite. He chomped down on Scyther's leg and the mantis Pokemon cried out a bit.

Before Llednar had the chance to use Scratch, Scyther leaped at Montblanc. Montblanc saw Scyther approaching in hot Pursuit, covered by a veil of darkness, and he tried to evade the attack. He jumped to the side, but Scyther's reflexes were sharper than Montblanc's and the Agility only helped it. He darted to the side and slammed right into your Natu. Due to the nature of Pursuit, Montblanc suffered even more damage than he would've otherwise because he tried to dodge the attack. Llednar, still holding on by his teeth, sunk his claws into Scyther's abdomen. Scyther flailed around and threw off the Meowth, but the Bite wound was bleeding.

Stunky watched from behind you and was outraged. She was just a baby, but she felt a strong connection with you. While her own trainer had mistreated her and abandoned her, you, a complete stranger, had tried to care for her. She leaped forward and, covered in darkness, slammed into Scyther. The attack did little other than annoy the mantis, but she then Scratched at the already bleeding Bite wound. "Use X-Scissor on that pest!" Smiling, Scyther crossed his scythes and slashed at Stunky, knocking her out in one hit! Now that's just not right. You can't let him get away with that! Take him down!

Marche watched as the battle unfolded. Montblanc and Llednar were doing a great job fighting against the level difference and this battle might even be over soon! That would have remained true if Stunky remained behind Marche's legs instead of acting out and attacking his evil trainer's much stronger Pokémon. As an end result, Stunky was KOed and Montblanc had a little less then half health left while Llednar has yet to take any damage. Just as he was about to give orders, a message popped up on his Poketech along with a Pokeball.

A beloved member has quit RPing. You get his Grimer! ((Thank you Striker!))

He took the Pokeball and added it to his belt. A Grimer might just be able to turn this battle around if it started going the other way. Although that won't be happening any time soon. Anyway, he picked up the fainted Stunky and then gave his orders to his Pokémon

"Great job you two! Just a little more and this should be over. Afterwards, we need to get this Stunky to a Pokémon Center so that she can heal and you two can get a good night sleep. Okay, Montblanc use two Peck attacks where the wound is. Llednar, after Montblanc is done, do another Bite and Scratch combo on the same wound. After a while, it will continue to get worse and it should be in constant pain soon." Marche said to Montblanc and Llednar.

It wasn't a bad plan but with the Scyther's speed boost, it would be difficult. But whatever it takes to win this, it's going to happen. Even if it means going back to jail.

Your plan is absolutely perfect if you're hoping to knock out the enemy Pokemon within one more round, and I'm sure that that's exactly what you're aiming form, which is great, really. However the plan is completely made of fail in that if you actually think that Scyther is going to stand there like an idiot as you go after the same weak spot over and over, then you're very much mistaken. Scyther are proud and made of pure defensive body parts, mostly its scythes which can knock away your Pokemon and slash them up pretty good. If you don't quite understand what I mean, then just watch and you'll get it by the time this round is over with. Just don't yell at me because your plan didn't go as well as you had hoped.

Montblac flew in towards the Scyther who was much quicker and easily knocked the bird away and flew up into the air to follow it and give him a crushing blow that sent him slamming into the ground. You saw feathers fly in the air which blocked your view from the Bug type for a few moments, and when you saw him again, he had Llednar so his back was against Scyther's chest, and one of the blades held him up while the other was against the cat's throat. Natu had just gotten up and was looking a bit dazed when he saw what was going on, and his eyes widened as he tried sending signals to your other Pokemon to remain calm. Why bother having him going nuts when obviously you were going to do whatever it took to get your cat to safety. Right?

Clearly Scyther wasn't playing around and he had every intention of slicing off that cat's head like a bread knife through butter if you did anything sudden. I can't tell you what you should and should not do, but I suggest you come up with something fast. Personally I'm not fond of killing off player's Pokemon, but it seems that you've really gotten yourself in a predicament here. Maybe you shouldn't have tried taking advantage of Scyther's soft spot, as I think that that's what's caused him to become so aggressive against you. Your plan?

Well, that round didn't go as good as Marche hoped it would. Montblanc didn't do any damage and Llednar was being held hostage by the Scyther. Things couldn't get any worse then how they are right now. The only way Marche would be able to get out of this is if he surrendered to the evil man and his Scyther. That or come up with some ultimate plan to knock out the Scyther in one hit, which is highly unlikely. Just as he was about to give in, he got another message on his Poketech.

Level 11 Aipom up for trade. Wanting $250 and 2 Pokeballs in return.

Marche pressed the accept trade button and 2 Pokeballs and $250 were transfered into the Poketech and to the other trainer and one Pokeball containing the Aipom appeared on his belt. He then took the Pokeball and called him out. Within a flash of light, the monkey-like Pokémon was out in front of him and eager to battle. Marche gave him the nickname of Doned and then came up with a new plan to get Llednar free.

"Aipom, welcome to the team. If you don't mind, I'm going to nickname you Doned. If you look straight ahead, you'll see a Meowth being attacked by a Scyther. The Meowth is on our side and so is the Natu. I want you to sneak over as quietly as you can and then jump on the Scyther's face and use Scratch as many times as you can and try to hurt his eyes. Hopefully he'll go blind. Montblanc, use Peck twice if and only if Llednar gets freed. Otherwise, stay back and Focus on your Speed twice." Marche said to the new member of his team.

Hopefully the Scyther won't notice the Aipom and he'll be able to get Llednar freed. If anything Montblanc will become faster and be able to do something useful next round. It all laid in Doned's hands, literally.

So you know that the Scyther's trainer is probably willing to do anything to teach you a lesson, and the Bug Pokemon is clearly ready to slice off Meowth's head. Yet you still seem to think that you can send out the Aipom that you just obtained through trade and have nothing bad happen? While you think it'd be clever to have Aipom sneak up on Scyther you forgot to take on thing into account. The Bug Pokemon is facing your direction and can see every action you're taking, just as well as the "evil guy" as you called him can. Congratulations on failing miserably at getting Meowth out of danger without putting him in harm's way.

As soon as Aipom was released, the other trainer shouted, "now!" and Scyther's blade ripped through the cat's neck, slicing the head completely off the body. Natu gave a shrill whistle and dove in to the unsuspecting enemy, and Aipom was also completely horrified at what happened. The monkey clung to your leg and hid its face, obviously in shock. So not only did you manage to kill one of your Pokemon, but you also just permanently traumatized the one you just got through a trade. Perhaps you really need to take a lesson in how one should act in dire circumstances, because for some reason you tend to make the worst ones.

Natu's Peck landed right in one of Scyther's eyes, no doubt permanently blinding it and causing it to lose one of the sense it needs most. Scyther can't be a very good assassin with only one eye, which is something you could have thought about in the very beginning of this battle. The other trainer hissed and pointed directly at you. "Knock that bird away and do to that idiot what you just did to his Meowth!" Yikes, I guess you're not going to be given any time to grieve. Better save your life before it's too late!
