Welcome to Kijutsu! Well, that's what I would be saying if it wasn't so darn dreary here today. Although it's not raining yet, the sky is overcast with gray clouds that could let loose at any moment. Good thing you were under the shade of a bus stop awning. The large shelter was popular at the moment as people huddled under it before dashing to the nearest shelter. It was fun to watch really, all these people who had forgot their umbrella. Well, you technically were one of those people too. It might not be too easy to laugh at them when you were in the same boat.

Well, it doesn't look like it's going to rain just yet so you've got time to find something to do. Maybe go to the park real quick and see what's there. Couldn't be that bad. Or you could - hey, what's that?

Something had leaped onto your leg and clung to it desperately. Glancing down, you would find a Rattata hugging your leg, trembling from head to foot. It glanced behind it, squeaking in terror before hiding behind you. Well, what in the world could be going on? Then a growl echoed and several people screamed. Bolting through the shade was a Growlithe, chain rattling behind it. It snarled viciously and glared at the rat, baring long and pointy teeth. Something was up with that dog.

You could run and hope the Rattata could fend for itself or fight the dog as the people scattered from the beast.

  • In no way, shape, or form did Alexion consider himself a picky individual, but this place reminded him a little too much of New York City. Take, for instance, the sky and its slate gray coloration. Just peaking up past the awning of the bus stop made him wince, a thought passing through him about how everywhere he went, rain seemed to follow. Why couldn’t he have picked a sunnier place to go and start his pokemon journey? Why this hellhole?

He grumbled to himself something unintelligently incoherent, his arms crossing over his windbreaker…which didn’t have a hood. A hood would have been nice seeing as even his Beret wouldn’t be saving his hair from the downpour whenever it happened. Hopefully, he could find some semblance of shelter before it started to rain. He detested rain, in all shapes, including when it was frozen and fluffy white as well as when it was hail.

He blinked when he felt tiny nails pinprick his skin only to look down and notice that a purple rat was clinging onto his ankle for dear life. “What the hell?” he asked, stooping slightly to nudge the thing off. “Get off me,” he grumbled, trying to pry the little claws from his skin. “You’ll give me rabies and I don’t have health insurance.” Alexion only stopped speaking when he heard a threatening grown enter his ears, his blue eyes peaking up and narrowing on a Growlithe.

It became clear, all too suddenly, that this little guy hanging onto his flesh was being chased by the dog over yonder. And though Alexion had a soft spot in his heart of dog pokemon, he definitely did not like bullies. Reaching into the pocket of his windbreaker, he pulled out the only pokeball which contained a pokemon, pressing the center button to enlarge the sphere before chucking it at the ground and watching it burst apart. A female Electrike began to manifest where the white light gathered, shaking out her fur as soon as she was standing on all four legs, happy to be out of the confined space.

“Illuminare, we need to teach this bully a lesson.” She yipped in agreement, focusing her blue eyes, so alike to Alexion’s, on the firedog. “Start off with a thunder wave and follow up with tackle.” Without further ado, the young pup bounded off to do her trainer’s bidding. Meanwhile, Alexion glared at the rat still clinging to him. “Well! Are you stand up for yourself and help or just sit there like an idiot?”

Well the people around you sure cleared out in a hurry. No one seemed to want anything to have to do with a dog attacking other Pokemon. They may be the smart ones, who knows how this can turn out.

The Rattata was unaffected by your insult and continued to hide behind your leg as it watched the enraged Growlithe stalk closer to its prey. Luckily for it you disliked bullies and was there to defend the poor helpless mouse from its impending doom. The fiery dog glared at all three of you the mouse because of what it did, and you and your Pokemon for getting in its way.

Illuminaire's body began to glow a dull blue as she charged up her Thunder Wave. At the same time the Growlithe opened its fanged maw to reveal a glowing of its own. As soon as Illuminaire released her Thunder Wake, the Growlithe released his Ember attack. The two attacks bypassed each other and seemingly homed in on their respective targets. The electrical energy swirled around the orange furred dog and caused every muscle in its body to tense up and then spasm. The Embers struck Illuminaire right in the face causing her to yelp in pain and producing a few burns. Rattata still hid behind your leg and continued to watch the free show of dog eat dog. Illuminaire tried to finish her orders, but the burns irritated her too much for her to move much. She sat still and tried to tend to the wounds on her face while she got a moments peace from the attacking opponent.
