Character Template Name: Zeon Esparde Age: 17 Gender: Male Profession*: Pokemon Trainer Appearance: Too lazy to find any, so let's just take this. ![]() And the hair should be slightly yellow-gold in color. History: Zeon was blessed with a happy family when he was born. The Espardes were kind, loving, and lived a modest life. They'd go on parties, celebrates birthdays, go for some badminton, maybe plop into the swimming center nearby for a quick swim. Pokemon was part of life to all the citizens where Zeon lived, and he had made friends with several of them in his life. It was a bliss, a heaven for him. However, everything soon changed. Something took the family by storm, tearing it apart as if a hurricane blew off the roof of a house, separating it from the foundation and leaving the citizens exposed within. In this case, the roof was Zeon's mother, Schery Esparde, the foundation was his father, Ytorry Esparde and the foundation was he himself, Zeon Esparde. Their protective arms came apart and exposed to Zeon the world outside in all its glory. And the hurricane was none other than a simple family dispute. Unlike the 'I-will-divorce-with-you-because-you-want-to-buy-an-expensive-stuff' agenda in comedies and comics, the problem that struck the Espardes was a much more serious case. It appears that Zeon's father was caught trafficking some Pokemon from their town into another region. Zeon only listened to them, hearing how his mother asked him to quit doing so and his father replying by saying it gives them more income. Their quarreling became like a hurricane itself, so unbearable that Zeon spends more time with his Pokemon friends than his quarreling parents. Just then, the aforementioned hurricane swept his parents away, with both of them signing for a divorce. Zeon's mother took Zeon with her before turning away and not even looking at her husband being carted away by the police. And that time, Zeon was only eight. The divorce worsened things instead of patching things up. Zeon and his mother knew they couldn't live with the remaining money in his mother's wallet for long. Besides that, rumors and gossips emerged in the neighborhood, mostly targeting Zeon's mother, saying that she divorced so she wouldn't get involved and so on. The situation was stressful for his mother, which developed a serious illness and died three years later. By then, Zeon, 13, was a full-fledged teenager. He figured the money left wouldn't support himself for long, so he started working as a Pokemon Ranch worker, basically working with the Pokemon he'd adored so much. One day, feeling slightly adventurous, Zeon wandered in his house, looking around for anything left behind that might be of any value. He soon came across a dust-covered trapdoor on the floor in the master bedroom. And right then, he stopped wondering why he had been kicked down the stairs by his parents for entering their room without permission. He eagerly opened it to find a Pokeball and a note. To his dismay, the note was crumpled up, chewed by some mysterious insect and served better as a tool that made Zeon pace to the trash can few feet away to throw it away. He eagerly opened the Pokeball and watched as the red laser shot out and carved the shape of nothing other than a Clamperl. 'Great. All those years, and they left me with a pearl in clamp.' Zeon said silently. After a thorough scrutinizing, however, he realized the Clamperl had not one pearl, but three; two tinier pearls had developed after all the time the Clamperl had spent in the Pokeball. They looked almost exactly like the main pearl, but they are lighter pink and seem incapable of attack, but still, they make a neat addition. Personality*: Hard-working, Pokemon-friendly, sometimes unruly and can become downright depressed when his parents are mentioned. So he hates to eat cherries. Starting Pokemon: Clamperl || || ![]() Nickname*: Shinju Differences*: Two additional pearls instead of just one, both incapable of action Starting Town: Nogou Village Poketech Color: Black Other: Shinju means pearl in Japanese, according to an online dictionary anyway. I'm going to ask a higher up for the pearls since it isn't a simple color change. Everything else looks good though so hopefully this won't take long. |
