Batura accepted the healed Pokemon from Nurse Joy. She was so happy that she had succeeded in capturing Smeargle that she was smiling and giggling the whole time she was in the Pokemon Center. She turned around, Pokeballs in hand, toward the door, but noticed a boy pickpocketing a stack of cash from and older woman. She frowned. He had just spoiled her moment. She decided that she would do what she could.

Batura exited the Pokemon Center, putting Cacnea and Smeargle's Pokeballs on her belt. She walked up to the thief and smiled down at him. She then looked at the cash in his hand and gasped. Though she had already noticed the boy stealing, she thought she could add a little thespian's touch. "Uhm... What do you think you're doing?" She asked the boy, "surprised". She blinked at him with her long eyelashes "curiously".

You walked up to the little thief and acted all so innocently, nobody would question you questioning him. "Darn! Master! Master!" the boy shouted, running away into an alley, wad of cash in hand. He now stood next to a man in the alley, and the little boy was giving the money to him. Before we go on with these weirdos, let's take a look at the rightful owner of the money.

The lady heard the shout from behind her, and looked back at you, standing right next to the open bag. The real thief was already running away before you could start, so now you were framed. "Thief! A thief stole from me!" She took a pokeball from her open bag and tossed behind you. You turned around to look and saw a Snubbull, waiting for commands.
:snubbull :male Level 7

Now that we've described the lady's reaction, lets see what the man and his thief do next. The man walked right near the lady and offered some assistance. "Oh, I just hate it when the the law is abused and people have to pay for it. May I offer you a hand in helping teach this brat a lesson?" "Why certainly sir, help all you want. I'm not giving mercy until that wretch gives me my $300 back." the lady accepted the assistance and requested $300 from you, which you did have and could just give it to her, takes away all the hassle a battle would bring. But before you could even think of that, the man threw out his own pokeball next to the Snubbull. It released a Spheal, and boy were you outmatched!
:spheal :female Level 21

But justice took course, it couldn't have you lose when it wasn't your fault. Another man walked out from the crowd and insisted on your innocence. "I saw the real thief, and it wasn't this girl. He ran away to that man!" He pointed a finger at the man that owned the Spheal, and then took out a pokeball. He threw inf front of him, and out came a Numel. Looks like more and more people were getting involved.

"Fleena, use ember twice on that Spheal!" The Pokemon followed her commands, running slowly toward the Spheal. When she was in range, Fleena shot out a couple of fireballs, and the Spheal only got to dodge two of them. She being an ice type, this did more damage then it would've done, and was quite effective. Now it was your turn to attack, if you were going to.

Batura grumbled to herself as the lady unjustly accused her of stealing the money. She tried to explain, but the woman was already pumped and ready to go, letting the Snubbull out of its Pokeball. Even angrier when the evil man let out his Pokemon, Batura was ready to give up her money. She had been threatened into submission and was about to pay up, when suddenly, a man from the crowd appeared! Ever so grateful, she smiled at the man when he ordered his Numel to attack the Spheal. "Thankyou, kind sir!"

Batura then decided to examine the situation. The Spheal, a cute Pokemon that was adored by many people, was a Pokemon she had seen before at her mother's breedery. She remembered that it was Water/Ice type. That meant that if it had any water attacks that it could hurt Fleena, who Batura noticed had fire abilities. She came to the conclusion that the combined powers of Cacnea and Fleena would be quite the Type Advantage. She released Cacnea from her Pokeball. "Go Cacnea! Let's do this goon and his Pokemon justice!"

She gave Cacnea a little pat on her spiky yellow head, being careful not to cut her hand. "You did wonderfully last time Cacnea! Together, we were able to capture Smeargle. But it's mostly thanks to you. Unfortunately, we have more battles to fight. I need you to help again. That Spheal is the Pokemon of an evil thief! So I need you to use your Absorb attack on the Spheal, ok? That should help the Numel over there, who's on our side. And then I need you to give that pink Snubbul over there a good 'ol Poison Sting barrage! Use about two or three Poison Stings on him. I'm sure you'll do perfectly!" Batura glared at the thieving man in anger, and then nodded at Cacnea, giving her the signal to execute the plan. She would have brought Smeargle out too, for extra power, but she worried that he would still have hostility toward her from their last battle. So Batura just focused on having Cacnea do well and helping Fleena and her master out. She flipped her long purple hair in irritation with the old lady's ignorance. She hoped she would understand later. With that she turned to the man standing beside her and thanked him again. "I really appreciate the help. We need to get crimes like these off of Kijutsu's streets. That's what my father had always said. Anyways, let's take this jerk down!"

Yes, you certainly did have a type advantage over your opponent. This battle would be a breeze, if you played your cards right. Your Cacnea listened to your commands, ready to please you to the max. The instructions were quite simple and easy to understand, so she was not very confused, just that she wasn't sure who Fleena was. This was not a problem, because it had nothing to do with the attacking. Attacking was all that mattered at the moment, or at least to Cacnea it was.

Cacnea was now getting to work on that absorb, shooting out green energy toward the Spheal. Once it reached her she cringed in pain, as the attack was twice as effective as it would have been originally. Cacnea didn't gain any more HP though, because she already had her HP at maximum amount, being that you just returned from the Pokemon center. Your Cacnea moved onto her next target, the Snubbull, and shot out a sting of poison. The shot hit the Snubbull and effectively poisoned him, lucky you!

"Snub snub..." grumbled the Snubbull, he was feeling some pain because of the poisoning. "You're not gonna take that and let that cactus get away with it will you? Show her your scary face and then fire fang." yelled out the lady. "That camel should pay for hurting you, and you'll collect the payment. Use body slam, then back away a bit and use water gun." shouted the man. Man, these people were showing no mercy. The Snubbull put on a scary face and stared right at your Cacnea. She was frozen in terror, and the Snubbull used this opportunity to use fire fang. While running toward your Cacnea, he gathered fire energy in his teeth, and gave a light bite to Cacnea when he reached her. The Snubbull wasn't very smart, and bit Cacnea in a thorny spot, the thorns prickling the Snubbull's tongue. "Snub! Snub!" the dog cried in pain, now wiping her tongue with a paw. This wasn't the smartest thing to do either, it just put more pressure on the prickled parts, making them start to bleed.

The Spheal was quite smarter than the Snubbull, and wouldn't make the mistakes he did. She charged forward and hit her belly against Fleena's side, the move dealing damage and paralyzing her! Numels were slow enough as it is, but now she would be even slower. This was not good, but nothing could be done, unless Fleena's owner had a paralyze heal, which he didn't. But that's not all, now the Speal was backing up for a water gun, and Fleena was trying to flee. Parlays kicked in and slowed her down, making it impossible to dodge the stream of water, which was already flying toward her. It hit, and Fleena fell down, complaining about how much the attack hurt. "Nummm, nuum..."

Fleena was still getting up when it was her turn to attack, so I guess you would have to go first then Fleena would follow after you. Now the odds may seem against you, but you still have a chance at winning. The Snubbull was poisoned, and the Spheal had weakness to you and Fleena. Now what would determine if you win or lose is what you would next and in the next couple of rounds. So the future's in your hands, you just have to shape it correctly.

Batura cheered as Cacnea successfully attacked both Pokemon, but was alarmed at both Cacnea and Fleena's health loss. Realizing that through Fleena's Paralysis and low health, she was in danger, Batura decided to take some initiative. "Cacnea, we need to help Fleena, that yellow Pokemon over there!" She pointed in Fleena's direction, but she assumed it should already be obvious to Cacnea that the Pokemon her enemies were attacking were also her allies. She smiled at Cacnea, who had done well, and then began thinking of some orders for her.

Ok... Let's analyze this playing field. Cacnea is relatively close to Fleena, but the last attacks will make Cacnea slightly less mobile. And we don't want our opponents to be making the first attack. So a moving attack would be in our best interest... Unless... Batura glanced at Smeargle's Pokeball on her waist, and then shook her head. No, it's to much of a risk. If Smeargle disobeys it could cost us the battle. Use of him must be a last resort. So... a mobile attack should be ok if Cacnea uses Poison Sting. And then when Cacnea is able to get in front of Fleena, Cacnea could Leer at both the opposing Pokemon, in the hopes of moving them close together. Then use Absorb! And if they are close, it should Absorb from Snubbull and Spheal! Perfect! Batura gave a little giggle at her plan and moved up to Cacnea. She kneeled down and looked Cacnea in the eyes. It was time to explain the plan.

"Ok Cacnea. You know who Fleena is now, right?" Batura smiled as Cacnea understood. "I want you to move towards her and then use Poison Sting. One attack for Spheal, the blue Pokemon, and one for Snubbull, the pink one. Use an arm for each Poison Sting attack. Try to focus on the Spheal while you move towards Fleena, because it would be to our advantage if we poisoned her. Stop using Poison Sting when you get close to Fleena, and then use your Leer on both Snubbull and Spheal. Try to get them to move close together, and then use an Absorb Attack wide enough to drain them both!" Batura nodded at Cacnea, insuring she understood the plan. She then gave Cacnea a little nudge and a smile for support. She backed away then, toward the man from the crowd who came to help her. "Ok, Cacnea! Do everything I just said! Go!!!" Batura glared at her enemies, who were awful people. Even the woman, who seemed innocent enough at first, so desperately wanted her Snubbull to beat up on Cacnea. She yelled at her Pokemon and couldn't even refer to it by name. She deserved punishment for her injust ways. Her faced scrunched in anger, Batura began watching her dear little Pokemon follow her orders.

Trying to get a two for one deal huh? Well that was some resourceful thinking, and hopefully it would work. If it didn't, only G-d I knows what would happen. You told your commands to your Cacnea, and she nodded her head, or body, or whatever it is. Walking toward Fleena, she got her arms out and aimed one at the Snubbull and one at the Spheal. She then shot with all her might, making spikes fly toward both. This was quite tiring, walking, aiming, and firing at the same time, but never the less she continued onward. The two who were being shot were trying to run away, and this made it even harder for your Cacnea. Even more disastrous, the Spheal was sliding right toward Fleena! Of course your Cacnea had too many things to focus on, and aimed at her two targets without paying attention to where they were. She shot right at Fleena while shooting at the Spheal, and noticed this a tad bit too late. She knew she was getting close to the little camel, and stopped her barrage of stings. The attack did have some positive effect though, it poisoned the Speal, but did not hit Fleena enough to poison her. The owner of the Spheal was shouting out commands saying "Spheal, don't let that Cactus shoot you! Use body slam, then powder snow!". He hadn't directed who to attack, so the Spheal just went for the already weakened and easier target, Fleena. She gathered up all her fat and weight, and slid toward Fleena. She had successfully bumed into her, and was getting ready for the powder snow.

Although Fleena was now shivering out of fright, she hadn't expected an ally to attack her. The shock from being just body slammed by the Spheal once again didn't help either. Now the Spheal was blowing out a powder snow, gently covering Fleena with soft white dots of snow. Oh no, how horrible for you, Fleena was now shivering in a block of ice, frozen! Sorry, status effects are not up to me, I use a randomizer to see if a Pokemon is affected by a status condition, and apparently this randomizer hates Fleena, I mean first parlays and then being frozen? Oh well, with the Spheal being poisoned you have another advantage over your opponents. The reason your Cacnea had not immediately leer the opposing Pokemon was because she was regretting her actions, surely you would be mad at her for hitting Fleena! Now she had just remembered you had told her to use a leer, and remembering your command, was glaring at the Spheal with anger. You had said to do the attack on both, but the little cactus thought she would have trouble making eye contact at two Pokemon that were in two different locations at the same time. The Spheal wasn't very impressed with the glare, but had lowered her defenses.

Cacnea now raised an arm in triumph, and was sending out green energy toward the Spheal. There was no way she could send out enough to hit both Pokemon, and if she even tried she would probably hurt herself doing so or at the very least take away a lot of energy doing so, and suspected you didn't want that happening. The energy entered the Spheal and was slowly taking away his energy. A few moments after watching this, you saw the green energy come out and back toward Cacnea, entering her. The gained HP from this surely helped, and now Cacnea felt stronger and more confident. The Snubbull was watching this, envious of the Cacnea. "Snubbull! You know you want to hurt that little brat so do so! I don't care how you do it, just hurt that little cactus in some way." The Snubbull ran toward your Cacnea with his bloody tongue sticking out, leaving a little red trail behind him. He lunged toward Cacnea, his both right open and blazing, his teeth blazing with fire energy. Your Cacnea just stood there in fear, and the Snubbull now had his teeth around Cacnea's arm, the spikeless part that is. Fleena would now attack if she could, the was her oppurtunity to do so, but unfortunately she was frozen and could do nothing. So I guess it was your turn attack once again, maybe you could find some way for Snubbull's fire energy to get to Fleena. That could thaw her out, making her once again useful. Well its all up to you, you now have some choices to make.
