Nagou Village is a lush green village with lots of... well, green! It's a great place to start a Pokemon journey, and there's plenty to do! Like the Nagou Manor, which is just up the road is due for some exploring. There's bound to be a spot where Pokemon gather in that gigantic place. There's also the Nagou Gym, where you can earn your first badge. True, the people in there are rather skilled, but your Volbeat is unstoppable, right?! Maybe not right now, at this moment... but it hopefully will be one day! Next thing you know, you might be the walking out of the gym doors with a smile on your face and badge in your Trainer Card! If the gym isn't what you're aiming for, how about exploring the Forest of Legends? Maybe it's a little tough, maybe it's not. The only way to find out is to explore it yourself. Remember, don't believe everything you hear-- your eyes never lie. See? There's plenty to do here in Nagou Village! If you want to stock up on items and head to another town, there's a shop right here in the village. Nothing's stopping you from adventure!... Except this here Slowpoke. It looks kinda' tough. Perhaps because it's so slow, you'll have the upper hand in battle. By working together with Volbeat, I know you'll dominate this guy! Level 5Do what you have to do, but have fun while doing it. Guess who's back...

Yes you should of. What came out of the muddy puddle was horrific. The sight of it could kill children. You had to be prepared. It was a Grimer and it stared you down. It seemed pretty strong. How you could overcome the smell of this Pokemon was a miracle. It had a smell that could knock out a Snorlax. It quickly tried to unleash a Poison gas attack on you. You avoided it while covering your mouth. You threw the Pokeball and out came Shelakah. The Grimer used threw some mud at Shelakah's face which pissed her off. It could barely see what was coming next. Grimer then slapped your Pokemon with a pound attack. It seemed it didn't work because your slowpoke didn't react to it. However after a few seconds, it finally felt the pain. Grimer then stared at you aggressively , wanting you to leave. A few bones near the cabin caught your eye. You then saw a human skull. Those must be the bones of the Grimer's previous trainer and the possible owner of the cabin. He must of passed away a long time ago and Grimer refused to accept it. The pokemon in the swamp was a Grimer. Matthew noticed some bones and a skull near the door and deduced that the previous owner of the cabin must have passed away and this Grimer was probably his pokemon. He must not want anyone entering his deceased master's territory. While Matthew respected the Grimer and his wishes, he needed a rest from wandering through the dangerous swamp. He reflexively released one of his pokemon and was pleasantly surprised that it was Shelakah. She was a water psychic type so she would be useful against this Grimer. But she didn't know any psychic type moves yet. Well, if Matthew could get Lucidus to use confuse ray before he learned it through gaining levels, then maybe he could do the same with Shelakah and confusion. "Alright Shelakah, I know we got off on not such great terms, but I really need your help now. I want you to use yawn on the Grimer, then I want you to try and use confusion. I want you to try and get into the Grimer's head and use his mental weakness against him. Take advantage of his anger ad rage and twist his thoughts very slightly so it causes damage to him. Do you think you can do that?" Shelakah gave him a long hard stare. Matthew wasn't very shocked at her response. He needed to try and get through to her. Hopefully he'd find a king's rock sooner or later and evolve her into a Slowking, well, a Slowqueen really, but nonetheless he needed to increase her intelligence soon. He hoped that his description of confusion was accurate enough for her to understand how to do it. "You have psychic powers within you, Shelakah, you just need to look deep within yourself to unlock them. Once you can use this simple attack it will open doors to hidden psychic potential. Please Shelakah, please understand me. I really need you here." |

Shelakah kept staring at you for a moment, allowing your words to sink into his snail-pace brain, and then he finally turned back towards the Grimer. Shelakah didn't look confident about what she was about to try, and the Grimer didn't look impressed by the adversary that you had sent him. Nonetheless, it would be a battle. I probably don't need to tell you that it was Grimer to kick this round off. Your Slowpoke had barely managed to be completely facing the sludge Pokémon when the purple blob came flying towards her and slammed a flipper-shaped section of sludge down on the top of Shelakah's head in a vicious Pound attack. Pain eventually set in, but the Slowpoke did manage to stretch her mouth open in a gaping wide yawn before the Grimer could manage to attack again. The poison-type approached one more time, and it looked like Shelakah was in for another Pound, but fortunately the Grimer's movements were sluggish, and by the time he'd managed to get back within striking range (for the momentum of his last attack had carried him a few feet away) the blob was in a deep slumber. Losing almost all shape, the Grimer collapsed into a puddle on the ground. Now it was time for Slowpoke to attempt what you had told her to do. She stood there thinking about it for a moment... well, actually, for ages, her moth hanging open and her dopey gaze simply peering into the empty space in front of her eyes, not actually focused on anything. You watched and waited, but in the end, all that happened was that Shelakah tilted her head to the side and let out a sigh. Now being the nice person that I am, I'm going to tell you exactly what went wrong. See, the Slowpoke in front of you is actually quite intelligent compared to other Slowpoke (though that's still not saying a whole lot), and she understood the goal that you had set for her, being a psychic assault on Grimer's mind, but unfortunately, she didn't understand how to go about achieving such an end. In fact, she didn't have the slightest clue. But let's face it, trying to explain psychic energy is a difficult task, and trying to explain how to create it is an even more difficult task, especially when you can't do it yourself. But, keep trying... I'm sure it's not an impossible task. ------------------------------------------------------------ Your Pokemon: Level 6 25/37 90%[Accuracy -1] [Confusion 15% Learned] ----------Versus---------- Enemy Pokemon: Level 7 39/39 75%[Asleep] ------------------------------------------------------------ [[ OOC: I'd like to meat up with you in character some time, because your Volbeat knows Silver Wind, and I'd like you to tutor it to my Chilkit. Well, at least the Grimer was asleep. And psychic energy was a difficult thing to master. Matthew decided to try a different approach. Maybe by explaining how to use psychic energy in a different way would help. "Alright Shelakah. You're doing great. Psychic energy is a tough thing to create, and even harder to explain. But I'm going to try anyway. I want you to look deep within yourself. I want you to visualize the thoughts of your opponent the Grimer. Try and imagine them." Shelakah stood there staring for quite a while. But it was okay because the Grimer was asleep. Finally she closed her eyes. After making sure she hadn't fallen asleep herself, Matthew continued. "You have them? Alright, now imagine them being all messed up and out of order and generally confusing. Try and do that and use that energy and force it into the mind of the Grimer. Try and expand your thoughts not only within your own mind, but try and expand them outside your body, try and sense the thoughts of the things around you. Don't hurt yourself though, you've got some time before he wakes up. And if he does wake up then keep trying, I'm sure you'll get it soon. I believe in you." Hopefully his words would be accurate enough to help Shelakah create psychic energy. Though trying to explain something like that was hard at best. Especially since Matthew wasn't entirely sure himself about how to access psychic powers. He could only hope that Shelakah was able to tap into her hidden psychic potential without injuring herself. OOC: Sounds awesome, I'd be totally fine with that. Well work out where and when later. Edited by Jsol, Mar 18 2009, 04:39 PM.

Shelakah closed her eyes and listened to your words, beginning to think of Grimer in her mind, how gloppy he was and gross and just plain icky. She had a good visual of him sleeping now, and she started mixing everything up like you asked until it was nothing but a swirl of confusing images. Then she tried to force the thoughts into the Grimer's head, though it was very unsuccessful. Right now she just simply had an idea of producing images in her mind and messing them all up, but she still couldn't figure out how to push them into someone else's mind. Meanwhile, the Grimer just yawned and continued sleeping, obviously not having any desire to wake up anytime soon which was good for you. You're definitely going to have to come up with a better way of explaining things to Shelakah or else you'll never get this move taught to her. But then again maybe you should hold off of teaching Confusion for now and just work with what you do have. After all, you don't know when Grimer will wake up, and it might be awhile before Shelakah gets a hold on this move. It'd probably be easier if you had a Pokemon with you that knew Confusion too. ![]() Level 6 25/37 81%(Accuracy -1) [Confusion 30% Learned] ![]() Level 7 39/39 75%(Asleep) |

Shelakah was still having trouble learning confusion. Matthew couldn't risk her getting interrupted by the untimely awakening of the Grimer, so he decided to bring out some backup. He threw the pokeball and out came Croagunk. He looked around and saw what Shelakah was trying to do and snickered a bit at her effort. "Don't listen to him Shelakah. Just keep trying, I know you'll get it eventually. Focus on nothing but you and the Grimer. Focus so much on him that your thoughts enter his head. You need to imagine him in pain, or just confusing images of him. You need to think of these things and concentrate very hard on that Grimer over there. You need to concentrate so hard that everything else in the world is meaningless, so hard that your thoughts enter his mind! You can do it, I believe you can!" Shelakah stared some more and Matthew prayed that she would be able to learn this move, because if she did then it would be much easier to learn other psychic moves. Matthew then turned to Croagunk. "Croagunk, I know you probably don't like me very much, but I'm confident that if we work at it we can become great friends. But for that to work you nee to trust me and obey my commands. Now, I want you to use a couple mud-slaps on that Grimer over there." Croagunk would be a valuable asset for him to have. He needed to build friendship with him. With any luck, this battle would help him gain that friendship. Meanwhile Shelakah was still trying to learn confusion. With Croagunk here to defend her she'll have less to worry about and she'll be able to concentrate more on learning the move. |

So you were deciding to continue trying to teach Shelakah to use Confusion, aye? Well, it isn't my place to tell you otherwise. At least you now had some backup though, Croagunk looked strong... oh, wait, he doesn't listen to you? Um... alright then, good luck now ![]() While you continued to command your Slowpoke to focus on solely herself and the currently immobile Grimer you were all battling against. With her intense focus on only those two, who knew what the results of her training would be. So as she looked onwards in her mind, envisioning only herself and grimer she attempted to project her thoughts into the sludge-monsters mind, if only for just a second. Eventually, when she thought she'd been able to project her thoughts effectively she opened her eyes to see no effect on Grimer what so ever. She sighed, and awaited orders once again. Croagunk however didn't seem like it wanted to follow your orders, despite it being willing to battle, it didn't seem so willing to battle under you. "Croa," He argued before taking a seat on the ground, crossing his legs, and watching Grimer on the opposite side of the feild waiting for it to awaken. "Gri..." Here came the moment you were somewhat dreading. Across the field you saw the disgusting sludge beast start to wake up slowly, it yawned once as it it'd just awaken from the nicest little nap, obviously unaware of Slowpoke's attempts to use confusion on him. "Grimer!" He then called out angrily as he balled his hands into fists and rose them high above his head. For a moment you thought that it had been holding out an attack on you, sludge bomb at this time wouldn't have been very nice, but luckily enough it was just angry. Sounds like a weird thing to be happy about, but when you realized that it was unlikely that he would attack you this turn, well, you were relieved. Sadly, within just a few seconds there was a foul stench looming over the area, smelled like you'd been caught in a car with all the windows rolled up and someone passed gas... only you were out in the open. Ew. Croagunk took a whiff of the disgusting odor and stood up immediately, fanning the stench from its face as it looked at Grimer who seemed contented with the smell. Lucky for Croagunk he was immune to poisoning, but Slowpoke wasn't that lucky, and she began coughing up something bad almost immediately. "Croagunk please! If not for me then for Shelakah. Besides, it'll make you stronger. You'll be able to fight all sorts of nasty people if you battle with me. Besides, Shelakah really needs you to help her. Please Croagunk, please." It didn't seem to be working. Maybe Matthew should try a different tactic. "Okay, if this Grimer knocks out Shelakah, will Tikvah be very happy when she learns that you were able to defend her but chose not to out of pride? That's right, I saw you talking to her. You two seemed like you were becoming good friends. Do you want to ruin that just for your pride? I don't think you do. Now, use two mud slaps on that pile of sludge!" Matthew really hoped his words sunk in deep enough for Croagunk to obey him. It was tough, but it was the only way to get the pokemon to listen to him. As for Shelakah, she looked like she was really trying hard. She was getting pretty close too. It looked like she was almost half way there. If only he had a pokemon with a psychic type move to show her how to do it! "Shelakah, you're doing great. Now, you're poisoned, but just ignore the pain. Shut out everything but you and the Grimer. Don't even pay attention to Croagunk. Ignore the poison, ignore the swampy smell, ignore everything around you but yourself and the Grimer. Now, keep imagining him in pain and concentrate on the image so hard that it enters the Grimer's mind. Imagine him in pain and make the image so strong it becomes real! Get him to imagine it too!" Shelakah closed her eyes once more. She pictured the Grimer as it was. Then she imagined it getting hurt from an unseen force. She ignored the poison coursing though her, she shut her mind off to everything but her and the Grimer. If there was one thing Slowpokes were good at, it was ignoring things. She focused on nothing but herself and the sludge that was in front of her. She pictured him in pain coming from some unseen force. She concentrated extremely hard on the image. She didn't even hear Matthew's words of encouragement. She didn't hear Croagunk in the swamp. She didn't hear anything but the sounds of the Grimer's pain. She heard it so clearly it could've been real. But for now it was still just an image. She did what Matthew told her to do, and imagined it so forcefully that maybe the Grimer would imagine it too. She tried to calm herself and expand her mind over the living creatures in the area. She tried to sense the Grimer's presence. She tried to focus on only the Grimer and nothing else, and tried to push the thought into his head. She tried so hard she forgot why she was doing it in the first place. She forgot where she was, and even who she was. All she knew was the Grimer in front of her in pain. She was completely consumed by the thought and didn't even know who she was anymore. She didn't even know if she was within her own mind anymore. |

So, you were going to use fear to make Croagunk attack this time? While I'm not a huge fan of the tactic, I suppose whatever works, aye? None the less, Grimer didn't look too happy right now, maybe it was Shelakah's attempts at causing him pain that were making him angry? Well, for now, we didn't know. "Grimer!" The sludge pokemon called as it flung its arm outwards little chunks of its body flying off into your direction, but not as an attack. Soon enough the disgusting pokemon was moving towards you rather quickly, and Croagunk was still contemplating whether or not to attack. When Grimer got close enough though, you started to get worried. Not even looking at Slowpoke, Grimer quickly moved his 'fists' in a jab motion into Croagunk's stomach and at that point, Croagunk made his decision. With a loud croak, Croagunk dug into the dirt somewhat, releasing water particles from his body to produce some mud, and then sent out two disgusting waves of mud towards Grimer, waves that covered it from (if it wern't a glop) head-to-toe. At that point Croagunk just looked like he wanted to finish this little grimer off, but then remembered that Shelakah was trying to learn a new attack and decided to hold off for a bit. For moments there was no action what so ever, Croagunk was staring down Grimer, unknowingly mezmorizing the pokemon with its eyes. Luckily enough for you, this meant that Grimer's mind was vacant for the time being, and Shelakah was close enough to Grimer that she wouldn't have to focus too much more than she already was. For a moment it didn't seem like anything was going to happen, but then all of a sudden you saw Shelakah start to glow a dull pink maybe one or two hues darker than her skin tone. After a few seconds, you saw that same hue surround Grimer, and eventually Grimer started to cry out in pain before running away to escape the damage. A few moments later, it stopped running and was back to where it had begun at the beginning of this match. Well well, it looks like there was some progress made with Slowpoke this turn after all... now, just to figure out a way to perfect it. Shelakah was making good progress. She had damaged the Grimer a bit! All she needed to do was perfect the technique a bit more. Croagunk had also finally decided to help. Whether it was the threat he gave or the Grimer approaching him Matthew didn't know or care frankly. All he cared about was that progress was being made. "Shelakah that was excellent! Keep trying and try to get into his head! Try and force your thoughts into his head! If this doesn't make sense then just ignore me and do whatever you were doing before." Matthew turned to Croagunk. The frog pokemon looked like he wanted to take out the Grimer by himself. But Shelakah needed to learn confusion and this was the perfect time and place to teach her. "Croagunk, I don't know what got you to attack but don't stop! Hit him with another mud slap then use astonish! Try and get him to flinch if you can." Suddenly, Matthew's poketch started to beep. It seems that the trades he had set up on the poketch wi-fi trading network had been finalized. One, from a user named Blazing Falcon, were two pokeballs in exchange for $180. Matthew accepted the trade and soon two pokeballs materialized in front of him. He placed them in his bag and went to check the other trade. It was from someone named Crosse. She wanted his Timer Ball in exchange for a Duskball. A Duskball would be very useful here in the swamp, so he accepted. His Timer ball disappeared into the poketch and soon a Duskball took its place. |

With your stash of newly obtained balls, this day was just getting better and better, wouldn't you say. I mean, for one thing, you've kinda-sorta got Croagunk working on your side and your Slowpoke has practically learned how to use Confusion. Well, sort of; You've seen Shelakah practically using confusion, but for some reason she didn't realize that she'd even done it! I'm not sure whether this was just a Slowpoke thing (you know, with the crappy reflexes and such) or if it's just the way that Psychic moves are, because let's face it, I don't have psychic powers. Anyway, Shelakah seemed pretty surprised when you told her that the attack was going well, and heeded your advice. She wasn't confident enough with her own abilities to actually just do the same thing again, I mean, surely that would just have the same result as lat time, and what was the harm in trying something knew, right? Shelakah closed her eyes again and probed outwards with her mind, trying to force her way into the Grimer's head and thoughts. This time as she pushes she felt the Grimer's thoughts becoming intertwined with her own, so she took her chance and pushed, or squeezed, or twisted, or whatever would be the most appropriate mental action in the situation. Now, I've decided something, just now: Slowpoke have really lousy reaction time to external stimuli, but I think that this may be something to do with the speed at which signals move between their nerves and their brains, because when Shekalah was fighting with her mind, there was certainly no delay! From the outside, all seemed like it was going well, at least for a moment. She seemed to know how to attack the Grimer's mind now, but sustaining that attack was where the move was lacking. The pink glow surrounded both Pokémon for a few more seconds, the Grimer screaming out in pain, but then it stopped. Well, that just means there's more to be learned. The slowpoke looked over her shoulder at you, waiting for your next command, but it had forgotten that the battle round wasn't over. Luckily, Croagunk was in a good mood, so finished the round off; he charged forwards, dipping his claws into the dirt again and flinging another pile of mud in the Grimer's direction. He wasn't quite quick enough with the move, for the Grimer managed to slide out of the way, only to be caught offguard by a swift Astonish attack. Grimer hit the ground pretty hard, but got back to its... well, not feet, but you get the idea. He was, however, a little dazed from the whole ordeal, so didn't get an attack in this round; Yay! Level 7 23/39 63%[Slowly hardening due to mud.] [Accuracy -2] VS Level 6 15/37 52%[Poisoned] [Accuracy -1] [Confusion Learning Curve @ 85%] Level 6 32/37 79%

Shelakah had almost got it. She just needed to sustain the attack for a bit longer. Croagunk seemed to listen to him and made Grimer flinch so that was another plus. "Shelakah you're doing wonderfully. You just need to try and hold on to the attack for a bit longer. Try and keep your hold on his mind and get a concrete grip. Once you master this attack you'll open the door to countless psychic possibilities. Just keep trying and remember to hold onto the attack for longer this time." Shelakah turned her head to Grimer once more. She closed her eyes again and reached her mind out to grasp his. This was easier said than done, but she seemed to be getting it. She was almost there. But the poison was hurting her. Matthew could tell she only would have a few more rounds left if Croagunk didn't defend her. "Croagunk, that was great. I apologize for threatening you before but I had to. It was the only way to get you to listen to me. I'm not a bad person, ask any of my other pokemon and they'll tell you the same. For now, though, we need to focus on this battle. Now, we want the Grimer to stay conscious for long enough so that Shelakah can learn confusion, but we don't want him to hurt her and interrupt the process. So use another astonish and then if he doesn't flinch use another one, but if he does then just wait until he recovers and only then attack him again. Got all that?" Croagunk understood. He was starting to like Matthew a bit more. He supposed that not all humans were bad. Matthew was a good one. He was nice and he really cared for his pokemon. Now he understood why Lucidus defended him from the attack. Maybe humans and pokemon can coexist in peace. Maybe he and Matthew could be beacons of partnership between humans and pokemon. |

So you were still attempting to take down this muck of poison, named Grimer. (no pun intended) Not a bad idea, especially with the whole using Psychic moves things. Quite the genius strategy. Heck, maybe I should take some notes. Well, no time for that now..you had quite the battle taking place right here and now. So you had given the fighting Frog it's orders, while the Slowpoke attempted to reach out mentally with it's attack. Not a bad strategy, but as the Croagunk moved into action, the grimer saw it coming and decided to attack back. As your Croagunk got near...the solidus body moved into action, and avoided the attack, and then came with a disgusting punch of it's own into the stomach of the frog. The Croagunk wouldn't be able to complete it's own attack after taking the hit...but knowing that you were counting on it, it soon followed up with at least your second command. The Grimer looked like a fighting type itself as it attempted to do a counter attack against the Astonish, but failed and took the hit. Did it flinch? No. Epic Fail there. But then, a success you might not have expected took place. The Slowpoke ripped into the Grimer's mind. And the poison Pokemon would let out a cry of exagarated pain. It would bring it's grimy hands up to it's "head" to hold it in pain. Slowpoke had accomplished it's task of learning Confusion and while it mostly was confused 24/7...it had now made Grimer share the mental anguish. And now, the battle was nearing it's close...time to finish this off quick young trainer. Though, once thing you might notice was that the Slowpoke had become quite exhausted both mentally and physically from the effects of learning the attack...and the poison. So, another hit would probably knock out the Slowpoke if Grimer had a chance...so it was time to end this now young trainer. The Swamp seemed to just give off the eerie feeling as the surroundings at any moment could turn into reinforcements for the Grimer. So you needed to quickly take this beast out, or expect a much harder battle on your hands...and even with confusion learned now...you weren't gonna take out a swamp fool of disgusting poisonous creatures. Level 7 7/39 42%[Slowly hardening due to mud.] [Accuracy -2] VS Level 6 11/37 48%[Poisoned] [Accuracy -1] [Confusion Learned!] Level 6 26/37 59%Congratulations! has learned Confusion!

Matthew smiled widely. Shelakah had done it! She had learned confusion with no prior psychic power! Matthew was so proud. He was also pretty proud of himself for being able to teach a psychic type attack. But Shelakah was exhausted. He needed to finish this battle now. Shelakah didn't look like she had much strength left in her, and he didn't want to push her into using another confusion. She had done enough in this battle and deserved a nice rest after. "Shelakah that was incredible. I am so proud of you. We've almost got this, just a few more hits. Croagunk, use mud slap and if that doesn't finish him off, Shelakah, use tackle." Shelakah was panting slightly. The effort must have really drained her. But who could blame her? She did just learn a new move after all. And a psychic one no less. Even Croagunk looked proud of her. Croagunk was much more obedient now. He seemed to have a new respect for Matthew. Matthew didn't know why, but maybe it had something to do with the way he gave Shelakah encouragement. Matthew got one of his new pokeballs ready. Grimer would make a good trade for him. |

The end of battle is near. Both side showing signs of fatigue and neither side wanted to give in. You, your Slowpoke with her newly gained psychic attack and your Croagunk stood your ground and faced your opponent with a determined look in your eye. The Grimer, your current opponent looked as if it were breathing harder than normal, but that’s to be expected as you gave it one hell of a beating, physically and mentally. Though Grimer was riddled with may faults keeping him from doing a successful attack, your side was not without its own shortcomings. Your poor slowpoke was near her limits, mainly from the attempted tutoring of the low-leveled Psychic attack known as Confusion. While it was a good move to have, her prolonged tutoring made the battle longer than needed. With the poison coursing through her body, it was making it hard for her to focus on her target and wait for Croagunk's attack to fire. Grimer picked himself up with a sloppy and sickening squelching sound. He gave you and your Pokemon a deadly stare before charging in for the final outcome of the battle. His mad dash was actually a mediocre crawl, but to him, he was moving fast. Croagunk dipped his hand back in the swampy muck and tossed out a large chunk of slimy earth that had been sitting in the water for way too long. Once again, the nasty gunk fell on target and smacked the Grimer right between the eyes causing it much discomfort. The Grimer even stopped in mid charge to wipe the nasty, yet not as nasty as it, gunk out of its eyes. Slowpoke took this pause in battle to attempt your order to charge in and tackle. Although with each step she took, the poison moved quicker in her veins. Her poisoned state made her breath more ragged than normal and she started to wheeze a little as she ran. It wasn't just her poisoning that made it hard, but she was running low on energy as well. She was barely holding out when she came within striking distance of the Grimer. Grimer stopped wiping at his eyes when he saw the on coming attack and raised both arms as high as they could. As soon as Slowpoke was close enough Grimer brought down his double pound in the square of Slowpokes back just as she made contact with Grimer's body causing both to faint at the same exact time. Well this was awkward, as you hadn't been expecting that had you? Well Slowpoke needed a rest and Grimer is catch able so why not put that Pokeball to good use after examining your team for any sort of problems they may have other than a few scratches. Oh and I'd most likely let Slowpoke rest for a bit before trying to continue onward. With sometime she may come to. Croagunk, while he needed little attention found a nice deer trail that will lead you to a small glade not to far off that was dry enough to sit in and rest. Croagunk gains 5.8 EXP +1 Lv. Croagunk is now Lv 7 with 0.8 EXP left over. Slowpoke gains 4.3 EXP +1 Lv. Slowpoke is now Lv 7 with 3.3 EXP left over. The Grimer gained 8.6 EXP +1 Lv Grimer is now Lv 8 with 1.6 EXP left over. {{Just a note, since you never posted actually trying to catch the Grimer I didn't make you. The warnings about that were given many times in other journeys and as a mod you should know this. We don't assume anything. You can try to catch it in your next post but that may make it hard to move to the safety zone. You could try to carry it but I wouldn't touch the Grimer >< to icky.}} Edited by Xander, Mar 31 2009, 06:29 PM.
