So it's raining. Yeah, it's raining. You are near the ocean, a little rain couldn't hurt, right? Well, this is how your first step in Alternia is going to start: with rain. C'est la vie, mon ami? Yes, I speak French. What of it punk? Eh hem, well let's see what we could do in the glorious rain. Well, there's the shop you're standing in front of since you are hiding hiding under the awning from the rain. If you glanced up, the sign would read 'Millenia PokeMart'. Well, it wasn't so unusual but maybe Drifloon would like something? At that moment, a particulary power gust of wind blew by. Thankfully Drifloon was safely in his Poke ball at the moment or you would be chasing after a flailing balloon. As you stood huddled under the awning, a girl came running up and stood under it with you. It looked like she had been crying but the only evidence of this was just her red eyes. She wiped at her face quickly and sniffled loudly. She was about your age and soaking wet from the rain. In one hand, she held a dripping wet sketchbook. |

Athan rubbed his forehead, this simple battle had become a life and death situation, a life and death situation that he no longer wanted to be apart of. Athan had to think about his own life, he indeed was in the situation too deep but he really did not want to continue onward. Athan watched as Houndour performed the maneuver he had ordered him to do and smiled, however soon Athan's smile was wiped off his face as the buff guy ordered the Snorunt to use Icy Wind; Athan hated the Icy Wind attack, it wasn't the first time that it bought him hell in the battle. All Athan felt he could do was watch as the next few things played out, and unexpectedly they completely surprised him. When Athan looked at the Snorunt and then to the Houndour, the Snorunt was in even worse condition than he had figured. When the Ember and Icy Wind collided it made Snorunt go flying and causing an icy point to hit Houndour, but what he observed next gave him hope. This battle has forced me into a tight spot, I might be able to do a quick turn around with the Snorunt in its current state. Athan thought. The aspiring Pokemon Watcher took a look up at the ceiling of the Pokemon Center, it was then that he decided that now would be the perfect time to attack the Snorunt other than give up the battle. "Alright Houndour here's our chance, lets try to take this battle! Go in close and use Ember and then ram that Snorunt again!" Athan yelled, he was feeling a lot better than he had felt earlier at that moment. Athan cracked his knuckles, although the battle seemed to be in his favor there was no telling what could happen next. The buff blue trainer that had taken over the battle after killing his own teammate seemed to have put a bit of fear into Athan, the Pokemon Watcher had no telling what he was going to do next. As Athan continued to try and push on the threat that he might end up dying crept up in his head once more. Remembering what the blue trainer who he was battling against not to long ago had said he began to wonder if he was doing the right thing by continuing the fight, after all it was his own life that he was risking and Athan's life was worth more to him than many things. It's decided, I want to finish up this battle and then I will flee town. Athan thought. He couldn't handle the situation any longer, the stress and fear that came along with it was too much...on top of that he was planning on escaping from the red crew anyway. The whole thing seemed interesting at first...but now Athan's opinion had changed and he was ready to get back to exploring the new and strange region he had stumbled upon. |

Houndour nodded, he understood your commands, and he knew he could pull them off. He started to run towards Snorunt, and he peppered out an ember to keep him distracted. Snorunt dodged it easily, but Houndour was doing that just distract him. He began to run faster and faster, sprinting towards the ice pokemon. He put his head down, signaling that he was going to ran him. Snorunt took the hint, and without orders, he opened his mouth to bite. Houndour smiled, his secret plan worked perfectly. The new buff blue guy stomped his foot. “Hey, you weren’t supposed to do that you little runt!” he screamed at the top of his lungs. Snorunt looked away towards his new trainer just long enough for Houndour to give him a stomach full of headbutt. Snorunt flew through the air, and hit the ground. Defeated. Houndour howled in victory, and ran back to you. Wow, he sure was a good pokemon. It would be great to have him around, maybe while you leave you could try to smuggle him out. You would have to be careful not to get caught, otherwise you could be in huge trouble. But if you stick around, you would be in trouble too. Looking around, you noticed that everyone was too busy battling and the rental lady was sleeping at her post. Ha, it was the perfect time. If you’re going to skip town, now would be the perfect time. It’s not like they took your name down, and if you left town, they couldn’t find you. Then again, if you saved the crew, you could get the Houndour and other rewards too. You looked at the door, just to make sure it wasn’t guarded. Clear, you’re completely in the clear. Houndour sat down and looked at you weirdly. Apparently, you had a worried facial expression. Whatever the blue crew had in store, it was huge. Maybe even big enough to effect the town. Oh boy. It was a big decision, but it was still yours. Houndour Gained 13 Leveled to level 11! 3 EXP left over. (This will be added if you keep him)(No matter what you choose, request me, I got a finale for you either way. You’ll love it, trust me.) |

Athan smirked as he watched Houndour perform his commands effectively adding a short touch onto them. Athan knew that staying in the battle was such a good idea...but now that the battle was wrapped up he had to figure out what he should do next. He had decided he was going to keep Houndour and take him away from the life of being a tool for some gang members. "Return." Athan whispered to the dog-like Pokemon holding the Pokeball for the Pokemon. Afterwords Athan looked around the Pokemon Center, everything seemed to be clear but...something occured to him. Would it be really right to leave these thugs when I know they might be facing death? Athan thought, that was when he decided that he must stay for the sake of the people in the Pokemon Center, besides if he allowed a gang to take over the Pokemon Center they could potentially take over the whole town which could mean more than hundreds of people could lose their lives of this; Athan knew that he would at least have to inform Blaze about what he had found out. Athan pocketed the Pokeball of Houndour and walked off to locate Blaze. That rental girl is fast asleep so I doubt she'd know the location of the red gang leader...but I have to find him somehow this is extremely important. Athan thought as he walked along, he may have been a lazy and commonly rude person but he wasn't evil. "Excuse me I need to speak to Blaze." Athan said walking around on the red gang side of the Pokemon Center, he hadn't felt so nervous in his life, he was actually feeling afraid, a feeling that he often tried to prevent. The situation basically depended on him finding Blaze, if what the blue guy was talking about was true he and the rest of the red crew and maybe even many other people could be facing death. Athan glanced around and around the red gang side of the Pokemon Center, hoping to find Blaze as soon as possible, he didn't want to die and he was even reconsidering leaving from the Pokemon Center. |

Sorry, this one is a little short. Just a little hard to get alot of a introduction and a little talking. You walked around the Pokécenter, all the red crew were either in fist fights or in Pokémon battles, in fact, everyone was ignoring you. You could have walked out easily, but I’m sure all these people will thank you later for sticking around. I mean, you were going to save them all in the end, you had the information. As you got towards to back, the Pokécenter got more and more crowded, you could hardly move at all. A mosh pit, would be a good example I suppose. You waded your way through a thick crowd, and looked aimlessly for your red leader. Out of nowhere, you got tapped on the shoulder, you thought it was just you getting pushed around, till you got tapped harder. You pushed through the crowed and turned around. Blaze greeted you, tired and beaten up a little bit, probably from some fight. “KID! Thank God you’re okay. We have a real bad situation on our hands here, and none of my crew will help me out. They are all busy with the other battles. I’m not sure what’s going on, but something is up. Do you know anything?” he panted, and then put his hands on his knees to rest a little. “All I know is that they seem to be losing every battle, and not caring at all! It’s really strange, they have to be up to something.” He continued, catching his breathe. He looked at you, you seemed to be staring at the dead body behind him. It was the guy that was killed during your battle. Turning around, he noticed the body and quickly turned back. “Okay, tell me everything” |

Athan continued his stroll around the Pokemon Center still attempting to seek out Blaze, he knew how important it was for him to find the red crew leader as he didn't want anybody to lose their lives like the blue guy had. Damn, what's the maximum capacity in this building? Athan thought trying to squeeze through the crowd, things felt slightly hopeless for him as he just couldn't seem to find Blaze. All around he saw red crew members in battles and fist fights, man the thug life was highly violent and Athan could not wait for all of this to be over with. Athan continued his walk through the crowd, getting even more annoyed by the fact that he couldn't even find space to breath, he began to think about the possibilities of what the blue crew could be planning, there were many people in the Pokemon Center at the time...maybe there were going to set off a bomb of some type, or maybe somebody was going to burn the building down, whatever happened all Athan knew was that he was going to try his best to prevent it and be on his way. As Athan continued his stroll through the Pokemon Center he felt the tap on his shoulders, he jerked a bit as the tap caught him by surprise and widened his eyebrows as he felt the second. He turned around and saw Blaze and he didn't seem to be in one hundred percent good shape. Athan let out a silent sigh of relief when seeing the red crew leader, he couldn't wait to relinquish all of the information he had to the leader and to save all of the lives in the Pokemon Center. He skimmed through his memory trying to make sure he had his facts straight before he went spilling out towards Blaze, after all the information he had could lead everybody in a bloody fight in the end. After a second or two of thought the eighteen-year-old Pokemon Watcher finally had his thoughts together and was ready to speak, ignoring the fact that Blaze saw the dead body of the blue guy. "Sir, I have a lot of decent information that you would most definitely should now." Athan began, he gulped and began to speak again, he had never felt so nervous before in his life but he knew that now was the time not to be afraid. "Alright Blaze, sir, earlier while I was battling against a member of the blue crew...that dead guy right there, he said something about how I and every other member of the red crew was going to die." Athan explained. "Then afterwords the blue crew leader called for him to shut his mouth and...well...a goon of the blue crew, his fellow member laid him out in the position he is today." Athan took a look at the dead blue crew member on the ground, his blood was boiling and pouring through his veins real fast and his forehead began to feel hot and it wasn't because of the fire Pokemon or the crowded Pokemon Center. "The blue crew must be planning something big sir." Athan concluded in a hushed tone, there was really no telling what could happen next. |

(200th post!!!! W00t) Blaze was in awe, he couldn’t respond to those bone chilling words. It must have been a lot more serious then he though. He stood there emotionless, until he was tapped on the shoulder. Blaze snapped back to reality, and random goon one began talking to him. You couldn’t hear what the goon was saying, but blaze seemed calm. The goon ran off, and Blaze confronted you again. “Alright kid, here’s the deal. There has been a lot of hubbub in the basement. I want you to do check it out. I have to stay here and order my crew. I know you don’t have a lot of good powerful Pokémon, so you can borrow a few of mine. It’ll be a huge fight, but I like your style. Don’t let me down.” You nodded, understanding his motives Blaze handed you three pokeballs and then ran off to do another chore. You looked at the pokeballs, he had given them to you for now, but he forgot to mention what exactly they were. Hm. Well maybe before you go into the basement, you could heal your Houndour. He could be useful in the upcoming battles too. Whatever the blue crew were planning, it was probably big, and very well guarded. A random goon walked up to you, he seemed to be the same goon that gave Blaze his information. “You’re the kid that he trusts the mission with?” You nodded, it sure would be nice if you knew what was going on. “Well it’s simple, there are 3 powerful blue members downstairs, and they seem to be planting bombs under the foundation. You need to take out the three members, and I mean take out as in knock out. If one of them detonated that bomb, things would get bad, quick. Good luck” He dashed off. Well this was a really heavy situation. It was nice to know that you were trusted. Well, let’s begin, shall we? |

Athan stared at the astonished Blaze while letting out a sigh. Blaze seemed to be certainly freaked out by what Athan had told him, then again he should be, it was rather disturbing news. Athan stood patiently watching Blaze and a goon began to exchange words, he wondered what they were talking about, and he knew that anything at this point was serious. What have I gotten myself into? Athan asked himself sighing again, he tried to remain as calm and relaxed as possible, after all the worst really does come when you look at every thing in such a fearful and depressing manner. After Blaze finished speaking with the goon he was speechless as to what the red gang leader had told him afterwords, he was to investigate the basement of the Pokemon Center and it was basically guaranteed to him that there would be a large fight underground. He felt a slight relief however when he found out that Blaze would be giving him some of his Pokemon to use while he was down at the basement, he would have to be fully prepared for whatever could happen next. Athan turned away heading over to the nurse counter, Houndour did take a large beating during the last battle so he could use a good healing, as he walked Athan noticed the same guy that Blaze was talking to earlier stroll up to him; Athan's eyes widened in shock as the guy gave him a slight bit of information, there were three extremely strong blue crew members at the bottom of the basement, Athan had a hard time just facing the blue crew boy from earlier and now he would have to take on three strong trainers. A sweat drop rolled down Athan's head, he was nervous as heck but he tried to keep it within himself. After the guy took off Athan proceeded over to the counter of the Pokemon Center and dropped his Houndour's Pokeball in front of the red nurse, he was a red crew member at the moment so he would have to give his Pokeballs to her for the duration of his time at the Pokemon Center. Athan glanced back at the blue crew side of the Pokemon Center, after he got Houndour back from the nurse he had no choice but to head down to the basement. |

Looking around the Pokécenter, you notice that escalator downstairs was barely on the blue side, but within reach. With a single motion, you took your Houndour back, and you began to walk to the escalator. Luckily, you weren’t on the blue side long enough to be identified as a red member, most likely because you are dressed in street clothes. You causally stepped on the step, hitching a ride into the unknown. You began to sweat bullets, even though you had lots of hopefully powerful Pokémon at your disposal, you didn’t know what they were or what they could do. You also didn’t know exactly what was going on down there, so in a sense, you were going in completely blind. This ride downstairs was possibly the longest ride you have ever taken, but it would be worth it, hopefully. You took a deep breathe, trying to find your courage. This is it, after this, you would have saved the center and the people in it, and be the hero! Well, unless you were already too late. Thoughts of what could happen started to flow into your head, all of them worst case scenarios. What if they blew it up anyways? They had nothing to lose, what was stopped them from just doing it now? You shook your head trying to get the thoughts out. That wasn’t true. If they did it now, they would kill every member of their crew, along with themselves, not to mention their leader. You still had plenty of time; you just had to use it. Without even realizing it, you stepped off the escalator, greeted by darkness. Suddenly all the lights turned on, one by one, until the entire basement was filled with it. Oddly enough, nobody was here. The lights has sensed your presence, and turned on automatically. You walked around, looking at the walls and the foundation. You weren’t an expert on explosives or buildings in general, but you couldn’t see any sign of bombs. You put your hand on your hip, and looked at the back wall with a puzzled look on your face. Maybe they were upstairs? But how would they get passed the red crew? You were the only one not dressed up in your color, it was possible for you not to be noticed, but if anyone blue stepped on the red side, there would be hell to pay. It didn’t make any sense. A few moments later, you heard footsteps behind you, and they almost scared you half to death. Quickly looking back, you noticed three blue figures stood in front of you, dressed in usual blue attire. “Hey, what’s this punk doing here?” The one and only woman said as she began to walk towards you. “I don’t know, and I don’t care, take care of him then tie him up, we can’t let him interfere with our plans.” The first blue guy responded. Both of the men put their backpacks on the floor. The woman smiled. “Alright, looks like I will be able to have some fun!” Her smiled turned into an evil grin, and then she threw out a pokeball. “Let’s go! Weavile! Weavile popped out of his pokeball, and did a fancy battle pose. It looked very well trained and powerful, you better use one of Blaze’s Pokémon. But you had 3 pokeballs, and no idea which one was which! You threw a ball at random. A Magmar joined the battle, fists ablaze. Well, this would be interesting. You better use that poketech, otherwise you won’t know what moves this guy can do. A battle plan would help too. Level 20 65/65 100%-----------------Vs---------------- Level 20 65/65 100% |

Here we go Athan, you got to do this! Athan thought as he retrieved Houndour from the nurse, he turned away from the counter and let out a deep sigh and walked towards the escalators. It was quite frightening, the escalator leading downstairs was piratically on the borderline between the sides, thankfully he wasn't wearing any red crew attire or he might have been screwed. Athan felt sweat roll down his head, he had never been so nervous in his life, then again that was probably stated before. Athan let out a sigh once more, trying to slow down his fast heartbeat; awhile after trying to muster up the courage he finally began to go down the escalator. When Athan went down the escalator to the basement, he was confused, he couldn't see anything. He tried to feel around to see if he could find a light switch of some sort so he could turn the lights on and look for the blue gang members but he could not seem to locate it. $#!+ Athan thought scratching his head and his eyes widened in surprise when the lights flickered on automatically. "Some mess up crap is going on here." Athan muttered under his breath, he couldn't see anybody so he figured he would look for bombs...but he couldn't see bombs. Maybe that goon was just making up crap to scare Blaze and me, I should head back on upstairs and report. Athan thought turning around to leave, that was when he noticed the three blue crew members. Athan began to shake, these must have been the powerful blue crew members they were blabbing on about, he was going to put on a tough guy act, if he showed fear then the blue crew members might take advantage of him and take him down. "Le-Lets do this!" shouted Athan trying to be brave watching as a female released a Weavile, searching through his pockets he grabbed one of Blaze's Pokeballs at random and tossed them out onto the field, he was surprised at the Pokemon that exploded, a Magmar, he would draw the two Pokemon that exploded out onto the field but there was no time to do that at the moment also there was one thing to think about...what if the two other blue goons went to set off the bombs while he was wasting time on the woman, he glanced to the two others behind her and blinked. Damn it! I just realized I don't know anything about Magmars. Athan thought rubbing his hair back and letting out one last sigh, he looked back at the Weavile nervously...there was only one thing for him to do, use his Poketech to find out the techniques for the Magmar. Athan slipped the green device out of his right pocket and pointed it at the Magmar, he didn't normally use his Poketech as he didn't really find a reason to use a whole lot. Athan pressed some buttons "Find out the moves for this Magmar." Athan said, he never used this feature before and he didn't know what to do for real and trying to voice activate the Poketech wasn't exactly a good idea either. He pressed some more buttons, attempting to find the app. that checked Pokemon's moves and groaned, he must have looked like a real loser to the blue crew gang members. |

Your poketech beeped, hearing your command. A little camera scanned the Magmar, and beeped again. “Magmar, level 20. Moves: Smog, Leer, Ember, Smokescreen, faint attack, fire spin. Also knows TM Flamethrower and Egg move Fire punch.” You smiled, satisfied, but the blue members just started laughing. They obviously thought you were a joke, not knowing the moves of your own Pokémon. You shook your head. It was obvious that it didn’t matter, but it still hurt your pride a bit. After all, it wasn’t your Pokémon, and it’s not like you can do much about it. Magmar did a little taunt at Weavile, not caring that you were ignorant of his moves. His sole purpose was to battle, and win, a personality trait that could certainly help you. The woman stopped laughing, just long enough to insult you. “Hey, so you going to read the instruction booklet on battling? Or are we going to fight today?” she joked, the men in the background laughing hard. Weavile, looking at Magmar and shaking his head, was obviously not impressed. He had the disadvantage, but he diffidently thought he could take him on now that he knew how new of a trainer you were. Magmar looked back at you. You couldn’t let Blaze down, he let you borrow these Pokémon, and if he didn’t, you would have been toast for sure. Magmar took a battle stance again, trying to make up for the embarrassment. One of the men in the background laughed again. “Hey, make sure you turn the on switch on that nightlight, so when we put you to bed, you won’t be scared.” he joked, while all three of the blue crew started laughing their butts off again. Well, this was sure a good distraction, it would be best to ignore them, and start the battle unexpectedly. Not only would they not be ready for it, but it should also give you the upper hand in the long run too. Magmar, had a lot of good moves to work with, there were lots of possible move combos you could use also. In fact, as long as you play it smart, and let them distract themselves, this battle could be in the bad. As long as this Weavile wasn’t as strong as it looked. So what’ll be? Let’s get this party started! |

Athan sighed in relief as the Poketech read out all of the attacks for his Magmar, and unsurprisingly they were some pretty decent and powerful attacks. Athan tucked away his Poketech, now the device was only in the way as he no longer had any use for it. Athan cracked his knuckles and let out a smile and a chuckle, which quickly turned into red faced anger when he looked up at the blue crew members. All three of the blue crew members were laughing...at him! There was nothing that mad Athan madder than to watch people make fun of him, he snarled at the blue gang members as they continued to make fun of him. I will show you true power! Athan thought balling up his fist in anger. "Lets start out this battle Magmar! Use Smokescreen then go in for a Fire Punch!" Athan exclaimed towards the Magmar. Now was the best time to attack anyway, the blue crew members were too deep in their mocks and insults towards Athan giving him an opening to attack. Even though there was an opening for attack Athan knew that he opening wouldn't stay open for long, once he attacked he could finally see the power of the Weavile. After calling out his attacks Athan let out a groan and silent sigh, boy he sure seemed to be sighing a lot today. A comedic anime-style sweat drop drooped from behind his head as well. The insults from the blue gang members weren't doing nothing but making the Pokemon Watcher even more angrier than he already was, Athan cracked his knuckles once more, it was on and he was going to prove it to the blue gangsters. This $#!+ is whack, these blue crew members are pretty much underestimating me. Athan thought in anger, this was the most angry he had felt all day and he was ready to throw down. As Athan stood trying to keep his cool he began to plot how he was going to end this, he didn't want to end up in pointless and constant battles so he began to look for ways he could move and end the situation, alas there were no bombs and he couldn't do anything. Athan shifted his focus from looking for ways to stop the next upcoming battles to the next few moves he was going to use, he figured that he was going to use the upcoming smokescreen as cover for all of his upcoming attacks to score a hard win. |

(sorry for the average quality, it's late) Looks like we have a little character development huh? That, or the rage from being made fun of and passed as a joke angered you enough to give you the courage to stand up to them. Which is a good thing….right? Magmar cracked his neck, letting a thick smokescreen over the area. This was a good idea, not just because of the battle, but because the other blue members couldn’t see anything either! The longer you keep them at bay, the less time you might have to take trying to cut the right wire. I know that for the sake of everyone, the less you had to do of that, the safer they would be. A couple seconds later, everyone was coughing up a fit. Smokescreen was one of Magmar’s specialties, so it was pretty clear that well…it wouldn’t be very clear at all. There WAS a problem with this little plan though. Magmar couldn’t see anything either! He ran in with a blind fire punch, which not only does it have short range but lower accuracy too. The attack missed horribly. Hm, it seems the rage you had was blind. You should think about your attacks a little more. The blue members continued to cough. “Damn, we can’t work like this! We got to clear it up!” said one of the men. “I got….this” the woman responded. “Alright…Weavile…Ice beam!” she coughed, and an instant later, you saw an ice beam go past your head. It seemed that Weavile saw your silhouette, and thought you were Magmar! That couldn’t be good. Magmar grunted, he missed horribly, but he saw exactly where the ice beam came from. Now that he had a little more of a clue, he could attack with a better chance of hit. No matter the orders, he was ready, but maybe you could think about what moves would be better suited here. Fire punch is short range, but flamethrower can spread, even if he misses the first blast, he can hold it and spread. But, he was your Pokémon, for now. Use him anyways you want, but be creative! Athan let out a grunt and a cough as the smokescreen filled the surrounding area, he smirked, his plan was indeed working...or at least that was what he had believed. Athan couldn't see a thing but the good thing that he observed out of that was the fact that the blue gang members could not see anything either. Athan chuckled and tried to think of his next move, it would be obvious that he would have to find a way to get passed the seeing restrictions caused by none other than the smokescreen he had the Magmar use itself. Maybe I can use this time that the smokescreen is in play to look for that bomb or whatever it is I am looking for. Athan thought letting out a slight cough. He heard everybody complaining about the smokescreen and he sighed, he had to complain too as he couldn't see anything. The fact that Athan couldn't see the battle also met he really couldn't tell what was going on in the battle, he tried to make out the shadows of everybody else in the basement hoping that one of them was the Magmar. As Athan continued to glance around the smokescreen searching for the Magmar he heard somebody cry "Ice Beam." Athan's eyes widened in shock and he turned his head as an ice beam attack zipped right across his head.$#!+! That almost took off my entire head. Athan thought, he felt chills go through his spine, that was most definitely a life and death experience. After the Ice Beam nearly hit Athan the Pokemon Watcher got an idea. "Magmar, wherever the hell you are use flamethrower in the direction in which that Ice Beam came from then follow it up with a Fire Spin!" Athan shouted, it was a last ditch move and he had nothing else to work with. Athan squinted his eyes, he would also use the flames from the Magmar to guide him to the Pokemon, he didn't exactly feel to safe being by himself with three strong gangsters in a smokey basement...anything could happen. The Pokemon Watcher said a silent pray, this move had to work or else he would probably be screwed. After about a moment or two after commanding Magmar to use the flamethrower/fire spin combination, Athan took it upon himself to begin searching for the 'bomb' wherever it was, every second was needed because he was yet to have an idea what the blue gang members had in store. Athan walked a few steps to the left and right, teetering and tottering as walked, he had to careful not to bump straight into Magmar's attacks or else he would be literally toast. Come on, I am going to have to do this right, lives are on the line. Athan thought as he continued on. |

Yeah, the pressure was on huh? Once you have the time to think about things, you can realize how difficult of a situation you are in. If you didn’t succeed in beating all these guys, then you and many other people would die. That wasn’t counting for the buildings next door either, or the fire it could cause. In fact, the more you thought about it, the more destructive you figured out the situation was. If the building blew up, it would probably take out the entire town as a ripple effect. As the situation got darker, the light of hope inside of you got brighter. Though the situation was grim, you knew that you could overcome it. You had the tools, you just needed the courage. Hopefully courage will get the memo. Magmar took a deep breathe. Both of his attacks were wide spread, but hopefully not to the point to burning the entire building down. With a huge exhale, Magmar breathed his Flamethrower into the smoke, relative to where he though Weavile was. It was unknown if Weavile had taken any damage, but Magmar took another breathe, ready to shoot off his Fire spin. Once he realized he didn’t know where Weavile was, he fired it onto the floor, letting it spin around him, using it as a shield. The literal ring of fire surrounded Magmar, and he looked around for the icy fiend. With all this smoke, it was really hard to tell what exactly happened to Weavile, but it seemed like he didn’t attack. Maybe he was doing something sneaky? Hopefully not, otherwise it could be bad news. Without being able to see, you couldn’t see it coming. Literally. The ring of fire gave Magmar away, but it would be a good shield, and it would also let him know where the Weavile was coming from. Maybe you should come up with a good tactic to go along with it. Meanwhile, the blue crew were still coughing. “Damn it, all this smoke is getting in the way; I can’t work under these conditions!” One of the men said in-between coughs. It was obvious they weren’t expecting it to last so long, but Magmar has one heck of a smoke screen, so it was expected. “We’re just going to have to wait for it to clear up.” The other man answered, giving you an idea. It was risky, but it could work. If you kept the Smoke thick, then they won’t be able to plant the bombs. Though, you still have to win the battle, but at least you could solve one problem, for now. BATTLE RESULTS UNKNOWN Edited by Zygon, May 6 2009, 08:27 PM.

Athan let out a loud cough then a wheeze, the smoke was certainly much more annoying than he had wanted it to be. He had to come up with a way to use the smoke as an advantage in the battle as he could barely see anything. Athan couldn't really tell if Magmar got his commands or not and worst of all he had no idea where the enemy Weavile was or where the blue crew members were, he paced around in the cloudy darkness a bit thinking to himself when he felt a slight warmth. Glancing up Athan noticed a flamethrower shoot through the thick smokescreen and then a ring of fire appear, the attacks were launched in the direction he had commanded. I wonder if those attacks made contact with Weavile; its hard to tell any thing with the smoke in the way. Athan thought. It was true Athan had no idea what was going on at the exact moment of time. His idea of where Magmar was standing was quite cloudy and most importantly there was no telling where his enemies could be and what they were doing. Athan felt a cold chin travel through his spin, what if the blue gang members were planting the bombs as he stood there thinking...what if they were already set to explode. The thought that Athan might be good as dead already set him off, he was pushing his thoughts to the limit trying to think of a way he could over come the smokescreen he had set and defeat Weavile and destroy the blue crew members. As Athan thought he heard noises through the smoke, it was the voices of the blue gang members. Athan left his thoughts and lifted up his head to listen to the blue crew members once again whine and complain about the smoke. They can't plant the bombs, I knew this smokescreen was good for something! Athan thought a small devilish smirk forming on his face; he had a perfect idea to keep the blue crew members at bay for awhile to stall the bombs being planted but at the same time he knew he would have to come up with an attack. "Alright Magmar use smokescreen again to thicken this smoke up then use spin around and use flamethrower!" Athan called out to Magmar. His plan was to use the spinning flamethrower to possibly hit the blue crew members and Weavile, if he were to disable the blue crew members he could possibly foil there plans before they could even get started...but the plan had only one flaw, Athan himself could be burned by the blast. |
