With more money in his pocket, a new pokemon and more respect Jimmy felt like it had been a rewarding day. He looked towards the lady that had given him the money and nodded in thanks. "You really didn't have to...but thank you very much. This will come in very useful I can see. If you will, I will be on my way." Jimmy said, smiling at the lady who was not as snobby as Jimmy expected her to be. Upon handing over the thief Jimmy expected the woman to force a thankyou and leave, not to reward him. Jimmy watched as the thief was dragged off by the police person, still unconscious. It was a funny thought, that at one point this man had been in an alley, and the next thing he knew he was in a police cell. Feeling rather tired at this point Jimmy thought it best to head off to the pokemon center and rest up. "You must be tired huh Beldum?" Jimmy said, petting his Beldum on the head. "You deserve a long rest." Jimmy thought that Beldum might enjoy the trip to the pokemon center in fresh air so decided not to return it to its pokeball. With a final nod to the lady whos purse he had returned and a final look back to where the police person and the thief were, Jimmy started walking towards the pokemon center. In My Little White Room Again
|
For starters, Kijustu was one of the most polluted cities in all of Alternia – so your intention of allowing your Beldum some “fresh air” ended up as a complete failure. The air here was thick and had an acid-like taste, which only augmented as you strayed farther into the cities interior, in hopes of finding the desired Pokemon center so that both he and your newly captured Grimer could get some much needed apt rest and relaxation. Your trip turned out to be somewhat of a long one, for this center was nearly camouflaged into the massive slate colored buildings and factories that riddled this secondhand metropolis. But after much wandering, and asking a few passer bys for directions, you finally made it – only to discover that it was crammed to the capacity with people, namely trainers. Could this urban centers lack of sanitation be the cause of some many people bringing their Pokemon to this one hospice that specialized in Pokemon care? Or is it that this lot all partook in gruesome battles across this city? Much like you have – but not to the gruesome extent, of course. Anyways, there was quite a wait till you reached the structures front desk, but you did make it –eventually. There the nurse took your team with a smile plastered across her scenic face, and told you that your wait wouldn’t be much longer. As you waited, you happened to notice a few trainers at the other side of the room. Three boys, two about the age of seventeen or so, the other around twelve, and it looked as if they were having a heated argument. One of the older boys had his Ekans wrapped around his neck and she too seemed engrossed into this intense quarrel, for you could hear savage hisses coming from this serpent from across the room. Another of the older boy’s had his Houndour out, who sat at his master’s feet. Your curiosity started to peak, for you strayed away from the front desk to get a better look, only to notice that the hound was snarling at the younger boy…wait. What was this? By the looks of this now it seemed as though the older punks were harassing the younger one – who had a relatively young Poochyena wrapped in his arms. It was then though, that you were called back to the desk by the nurse –with both your Pokémon’s Pokeballs in her hands. Well they were healed, what do you want to do now? Do more hero work by stopping this fight, or maybe just ignore it and go spend that wad of cash you previously received? Its your choice, do whatever you please~ |

Jimmy took his pokeballs from the Nurse and gave her a smile. The sad thing was he knew that in a few minutes he would be asking her to heal his pokemon again. The decision was not a hard one to make. Firstly Jimmy needed to hang around at the pokemon centre whilst he waited for his friend to turn up so they could trade. Secondly it was just the right thing to do to help the poor kid out. "Huuuh I hate people who pick on little kids." Jimmy said to himself as he place the pokeballs in his pocket. He started to walk over to the two punks picking on the poor boy when he wondered why the Nurse wasn't doing anything to stop this outrageous act. "Well at least I have something to do whilst I'm waiting" Jimmy thought to himself. "And at least if I help it may help get my name known more so I can get more work as a mercenary." Jimmy continued, not forgetting his dream to be a travelling mercenary. Jimmy reached the two punks and stood behind them. He tapped them on the shoulder and looked at the kid as he said to them "Are you picking on this boy here?" Jimmy started "Because if you are I suggest you stop. Otherwise you'll have me to deal with." He finished, placing his right hand in his right pocket which held his pokeballs, getting ready to draw them out if they refused to cooperate. |

The boys, who didn't quite strike as imposing figures as you did, turned and, at first, dismissed you, then looked back again, taking a refreshed note of your rugged appearance. "Hey, back off! This don' gots nothin' to do with you," the Ekans trainer spat, glaring at you. "Go catch a Grimer!" Barked the Houndour trainer, unaware that you already had, and speaking as though the command was a form of insult. It wasn't really, but perhaps it would've hurt his pride. Of course, his pride and yours were two different prides, and had two different levels of offense. The Ekans trainer took a moment to offer some mild congratulations, as though the insult had had any real effect. The Houndour, though, quickly regained their attention, snapping at the other boy and startling him into falling back into the chair, staring wide-eyed at the Houndour and tugging his Poochyenna closer against his chest. The nurse finally spoke up, though it wasn't what you'd hoped she might say. "Boys, please, if you're going to have a battle or fight, go outside. There's not enough room or AC in here for that." |

Jimmy pondered this fact for a second. Taking this battle outside would make life easier for the Nurse who was trying to help poor, sick pokemon. It wouldn't be good for business if trainers started battling right in the middle of the centre and it wasn't a friendly. The tensions between the battlers could cause them to make rash decisions that could harm others and scare people away. "Fine with me" Jimmy said looking at the two punks. Jimmy desperately wanted to just give them a headbutt himself rather than just battle but battling was a more civil way. "Outside now, unless you're scared in which case you leave this boy alone and get out of my sight NOW!!" Jimmy yelled. He began to get angry and to avoid starting fights in the centre turned around and started walking towards the exit. Stopping suddenly Jimmy remembered he was meeting Azedankae here and walked up to the counter to where the Nurse was standing. "I'm sorry about all the bother" He said, looking her in the eye. "I just can't stand bullies. I'm going to wait outside for them but I'm supposed to meet my friend here. If he comes in can you tell him I'm outside battling. If I'm not battling then don't worry about it but I don't want to keep him waiting, he's travelled a long way. His name is Azedankae Azuduori." Jimmy finished up and stared back to the punks. He pulled out a pokeball and released Grimer, causing a bit of a stink. "Oh look what I've caught" Jimmy sneered as he returns Grimer and walked to the door. "We'll be outside if you're man enough to face us." |

The nurse gave you a knowing look, hearing your request, but was still so preoccupied with the rush of trainers coming into her center that it most nearly fell prey to the "in one ear and out the other" cliche. Surely, though, she would remember the name if she heard it again, but you could tell that she wasn't currently thinking of Azedankae at the moment. This was probably a good thing, and because she was so busy, she also neglected to hear your short little line about "getting work as a mercenary," not the smartest thing to say in front of a public worker in any case. As the next trainer in line handed over his Pokeballs, though, you had also moved on to another situation, calmly dealing with the arrogant teenage bullies as any assassin for hire would. They laughed, but any psychologist could have told you that their laugh was phony and obstructive to whatever true emotion they were hiding. At this point, that hidden emotion was obviously fear, helplessly intimidated by your serious tone and athletic appearance. Across their faces spread ridiculous smiles, which were worn mostly in submission, afraid that their silly little game with their silly little Pokemon had gotten out of hand, and also scared that whatever Pokemon you had hiding in that other Pokeball of yours wasn't too dangerous or excitable. They sneered at the back of your head as you walked out of the Pokecenter, and pushed their human target in front of them, in your direction. There was a certain familial aura about the young kid and the trainer with the Houndour, and it could be assumed that these kids were brothers in a rather dysfunctional family. You first saw the twelve-year old kid being pushed out of the Pokecenter as the two stooges walked out of the center, and he stumbled to the ground, lying supine near your feet, weakly regaining his footing after a few moments. The brother and his friend came out afterward, the Ekans hissing louder and the Houndour at the brother's side, playfully lighting the ground with his Ember, reminiscent of a kid playing with matches. Both Pokemon were edging for a fight, not unlike your ally's Poochyena, who had jumped out of the youngest trainer's hands, protecting his master. Luckily for you, the Houndour or Ekans weren't incredibly difficult battling opponents, but the kid's Poochyena would certainly need some help, being the weakest (yet bravest) Pokemon on the field. Level 7 Level 7 Level 3"Man if you're gonna stand up for my embarrassment of a brother, do it!" the brother yelled at you. His friend responded to the statement with a muffled word of encouragement that could hardly be heard (a "yeah!" maybe? It was impossible to tell). They both eyed your Grimer, and you could almost hear the rusty wheels in their heads grinding as they began to whisper a battle strategy to their Pokemon, ready to start the battle off proper. Speaking of which, you might want to do the same before your new enemies can pull of a quick hit on your Grimer or the Poochyena. |

At last Jimmy could prove to himself that he was ready for a real challenge. To protect a pokemon on the battlefield that would surely be defeated in order to protect an innocent person from ruthless thugs that had no seeable reason for their crimes. Jimmy knew he wouldn't be relying on Poochyena too much this battle so he couldn't count that as a battler this battle, so to even things up he would need to summon his Beldum. And even though they had only just met Jimmy already trusted him greatly and his awesome defensive ability meant he would be a sturdy combatant. "Alright Grimer, Beldum lets show these guys what we're made of" Jimmy yelled as he thought of a strategy to use against these guys. He should try and take advantage of Grimer's smell and poisonous abilities. "Okay Grimer I want you to use Poison Gas on Houndour. Beldum pretty simple I want you to use Take Down on Houndour after the poisonous fog has cleared. I don't want you getting poisoned too. Okay Beldum once you've used Take Down get as far away from Houndour as possible as it holds a type advantage over you." Jimmy ordered. Trying to think of every possible angle he wondered if he could use the kid's Poochyena to his advantage...although it may cause more problems than solutions "Kid I don't know what you wanna do but if you want your pokemon to battle I suggest, unless you have a lot of experiance battling, you let me take contol of Poochyena, just temporaliy of course. Otherwise I sugegst you return him and keep him safe." Jimmy told the kid laying by his feet. This would be his most difficult battle so far, he hoped he was ready. |

OOC: Steel Pokemon cannot be poisoned, fyi . You tossed your Pokemon out, and the Houndour trainer whistled while the other just sneered at them. The young boy has been rather timid up to this point, he hasn't said anything. You can't exactly be sure what causes this next part, whether its you helping him that giving him courage or that he's gotten brave from now being able to stand up to his brothers.. "My name isn't Kid, its Steve! And Poochy is my Pokemon! Poochy, use Howl!" Poochyena let out a Howl as you commanded your Pokemon, a fierce Howl but its easy to tell from his voice that the Pokemon is still young. "Ha ha ha, look at the pathetic dog, howling." "Shut up and concentrate, this guy is serious. At least one of the stooges seems to take this fight seriously. "Houndour, show them what you are made of, use a Focused Ember on the Beldum!" "I don't need you ordering me around. Ekans, Wrap up that Grimer and Strike it!" Your Grimer let out a poisonous burst of purple gas and Houndour focused on increased its Special Attack, working splendidly and getting Houndour Poisoned as he was too busy focusing to dodge the attack. However, Ekans slithered under the Poison Gas and attempted to wrap up Grimer, but Grimer's body just slipped through the coils and underneath. Ekans tried it again, but to no effect again, Grimer are just difficult to get a hold of considering their body is made primarily of goo.. Beldum charged forward as soon as the Poisonous gas started to dissipate, but by now the Houndour knows the attack is incoming and lets loose Ember through the remaining gas for a direct hit! Its super effective! Your Beldum backed off, its heated body not feeling too good. "Ha, you don't stand a chance against my Fire attack! Even if Ekans is useless." "Ekans, if it doesn't work the first time why would try twice!? Dumb Pokemon, try something else of course!" Poochy continued to Howl even though the kid's brothers aren't paying attention to it. This could be to your advantage, an ace in the hole if you can avoid that Ember. Not the most successful first attack in the history of battling but at least Jimmy managed to poison the Houndour. That meant he was now able to focus more on Ekans and try poisoning him. "I also gotta make sure not to put Beldum too close to that Houndour. That last attack almost fried him." Jimmy thought to himself. Jimmy studied the battlefield for a second. He noticed that his opponents were not taking the kid's Poochyena too seriously. Jimmy sighed. To be honest he couldn't really take the pokemon too seriously either. It was too low a level and the damage it would inflict would be minimal. But it's howls made it seem more confident, it looked like it would be able to deal some more powerful damage that it would have earlier. Maybe Jimmy could use it to launch a suprise attack. Jimmy bent down to and whispered in the kid's ear. He did not want his opponents to overhear his plan. "Okay kid these guys don't care about you. I want you to make Poochy use another Howl. When it does that I'm going to have Grimer belch up another Poison Gas. When it does that I want Poochy to run around the outside of the gas and attack Houndour. Don't worry. Both my pokemon will be behind you." Jimmy finished. It was as he was standing up Jimmy suddenly remembered that Beldum was unaffected by Poison Gas...that made things so much better. "Okay Grimer lets use another Poison Gas, make it as thick as possible. Beldum as soon as Grimer's done that soar on through and use Take Down on Houndour, then fly back into the fog." Jimmy yelled. If this attack failed Beldum would be weakened and may not be able to continue in this battle. If it succeded Jimmy would be able to strike hard next round and would give an open oppurtunity to Poochyena. |

Steve wasn’t terribly thrilled. Now instead of his brothers ordering around, it was you. Still, you weren’t shouting insults at him, which was an improvement. Now was as good a time as any to try Poochy’s special attack. Steve had spent a lot of time with his young Poocyena and they were quite close. In that time he’d also taught his friend a move that symbolized and used their strong friendship. “Poochy!” he called. Poochy turned and trotted over to his trainer. Steve knelt and murmured in Poochy’s ear, giving him his instructions. As he talked Poochy smiled. Whatever Steve was saying, he sure liked the sound of it. Finishing his little chat with Poochy, Steve stood up. “Got it?” Poochy barked eagerly in reply and leaped forward, just far enough away that his friend wouldn’t be hurt by a stray attack meant for him, Poochy. You didn’t know about the special move, of course. The older boys either didn’t know or didn’t care, so confident were they that victory would be theirs…even if Ekans’s trainer thought it was stupid. Paying them no mind, you focused on your own pokémon instead, giving them directions. Grimer was a bit bored…so far all he’d done was spew Poison Gas, and you wanted him to do it again? Well, an order was an order. He’d have to grimace and bear it. Meanwhile, Beldum was trying to ready himself for his next Take Down. He was NOT looking forward to getting in close to that hot Houndour again…his metal might get melted and then what would become of him? He still felt sick from that last Ember attack…he didn’t know if he could take another one. For you though, he’d certainly try his best. Maybe with Poison Gas covering his moves he could avoid another nasty Ember attack. “Alright Houndour, do it just like last time. Focus followed by Ember!” A nasty grin appeared on Houndour’s face as he Focused, readying his charged up attack. “Let’s see if we can pull off something Ekans. Use Leer on Grimer and then use Strike! We’ll see if Grimer can just ooze away from that!” Nodding in compliance, Ekans Leered at Grimer. Although Grimer wasn’t actually afraid of Ekans, that nasty look it was giving him sent shivers down his…uh…goo? From the “sidelines” Poochy Howled, his soft puppy Howl more cute than anything else. The Howl served to pump him up though in preparation for his attack. He was determined to make this attack count, even if he was at a much lower level than the other pokémon in the battle. As the final notes of his Howl faded Poochy crouched, ready to dash forward and strike when the opportunity arose. Shaking off the Leer as best he could, Grimer sucked in a deep breath and poured out as much Poison Gas as he could muster. If he had to use this attack again, he was determined to do it right. The good news for Grimer was that it hid Ekans and that awful Leer from his sight. Without that chilling look on him Grimer was able to really belch out the Poison Gas! He had almost the entire field (area) in front of him covered in it. Not that it would really do any good…Ekans was a Poison type and couldn’t be poisoned, and Houndour already was poisoned; he couldn’t get poisoned anymore. Seeing his chance, Beldum surged forward and rammed Houndour, whose Focus was disrupted, canceling out the attack. Angrily, Houndour opened his mouth and blasted a stream of Ember at Beldum, wanting revenge for that hit. The attack missed Beldum, thankfully, but it hit Grimer’s Poison Gas attack, which exploded. Everyone (except Poochy, who was too far away) got hit by the shock of the explosion. It wasn’t overly powerful, but it still hurt. In all the confusion Poochy sprang forward. Now was the time, the opportunity he’d been waiting for! He skipped on over to Houndour, barking happily. Poochy proceeded to energetically lick Houndour’s face, nip his ears playfully, bop him on the head with a paw, and literally jump on his back and dance for joy! What a crazy Poochyena this pup was! He was that close to his trainer though, for his attack was Return! A secret weapon Steve had taught him because it relied on happiness and friendship. With a bond like theirs, he felt Return symbolized their relationship perfectly. As if Houndour didn’t have enough problems! He snarled at the irritating pup as it spazzed out all over and around him. Had it lost its mind?! Still, with as unpredictable and fast as Poochy was, Houndour couldn’t catch him. Eventually Poochy’s feelings were spent and he ran back to Steve and stood, panting happily. That had been a lot of fun, although it wore him out a bit. Thanks to the explosion Ekans completely forgot to use Strike, a fact which made her trainer curse her stupidity. Why did his Ekans have so little brains? On your side, Beldum and Grimer were recovering from the shock of the explosion. That sure hadn’t been expected…but at least it wasn’t a very powerful explosion, or else Beldum might have been knocked out. Take Down did some damage to him, and then the Poison Gas exploding did a bit more. Ouch… Your Pokemon Level 6 30/37 88%(Defense -1) Level 5 15/35 85%Your Ally’s Pokemon Level 3 31/31 75%(Attack +2.5) Opponent Pokemon Level 7 33/39 84% Level 7 5/39 80% |

"Phew that was a tough round" Jimmy thought to himself. "But at least Poochyena managed to nearly take out that Houndour...Mental note, do not get on that kids bad side" Jimmy finished, getting his mind back to the battle. But what to do? He had an idea where he could do a large amount of damage to Ekans, but at the same time he wanted to take out that Houndour. "No. Houndour is more dangerous right now. If I'm going to take it out, I'm doing it now." Jimmy thought to himself. Guessing what moves Grimer must know at his level Jimmy formulated a plan to take out Houndour as soon as possible. Not forgetting the events of the last round Jimmy turned to the kid trainer and said "Nice moves last round. That was amazing." Now that that was off his chest Jimmy could focus back onto the battle. All Jimmy needed was to take out Houndour. Once the fire type was out of action, not only would that leave only one pokemon on the opponent's battlefield but it would take out Beldum's weakness meaning the battle would be a lot easier. "Okay Grimer, Beldum, Houdour hasn't got much left. We're going to take out Houndour now. Beldum use a Staredown to lower Houndour's defence. Next Grimer, I want you to jump into the air and use Harden, then use Pound to slam down on top of Houndour." Jimmy commanaded. This was the best plan Jimmy could come up with for now and it kept Beldum away from any fire attacks and any explosions. |

IT'S A MAGICAL LIOPLEURODON CHARLIE
|
As you were giving out commands the Houndour was now down, barely aware of his surroundings anymore. He was panting with what looked like all his might, and a puddle of drool started to form under his jaw. Your Beldum started to stare his big red and black eye at the Houndour, and the Houndour did not like this. Unfortunately for him, the Houndour's master did not realize what was going on, and just shouted instead of paying attention. "Get up you dumb mutt, we've got to win this! You can't loose to that pitiful excuse of a team!" shouted the owner of the exhausted dog while pointing an extended finger at you and Steve's Pokemon. He was apparently trying to pep talk his Pokemon, but was doing a miserable job at it. Using the words "dumb" and "mutt" does not encourage living beings to try harder. But of course this particular Houndour was use to this sort of trash talk and just looked back at his master with an annoyed look while getting up. Now it was the Houndour's turn not to pay attention to his surroundings, but this was all because his trainer's rambling. As soon as he got up and looked up, he saw a purple glob of hardened goop heading his way. The Grimer used a pound to make the impact even more effective, and when it made contact with the heated hound, it was all over for him, or at least for this round. His owner started to grumble and mumble intelligible things, but you could make out some words like "stupid" and "wimp". Steve patted Poochy's head and started to whisper his next command. "Poochy, run behind that Ekans so that she doesn't see you, then and then strike with your teeth like a bite. Run back hear immediately afterward so the she doesn't have a chance to attack you back." Poochy followed his trainer's command, running clumsily but undetected by the Ekans. Once he was behind her, he made his move, striking with his teeth, which was pretty much a bite. The Ekans squealed out a noise of pain and annoyance, but mostly annoyance. She looked back behind her and saw the little pup run away back to his owner. The Ekans was mad at him and slithered over to the Poocheyena in stealth mode, and then used wrap then poison sting. "Errmm, I didn't tell you to do that, and you shouldn't do things when I don't tell you to do them, but good job anyways." said the Ekans owner, surprised at how much anger his Pokemon was putting into it. Poochy was in great pain, and was poisoned too. Steve watch with his mouth dropped open as to how unhappy his pokemon was. "Please, stop! I won't attack your Pokemon anymore, just stop hurting Poochy!" shouted Steve at the Ekans owner. "Fat chance little boy, you annoy my Ekans, you pay the price!" the Ekans owner retorted. The Ekans finally let go, and smiled at the result of his work. Well, atleast no damage was done to your Pokemon, except for a little bit on the Grimer, for having a rough landing. (Shouldn't Grimer have +1 Defence, not -1 Defence?) Yes what a round that was. Houndour was finally out of the way and Ekans didn't look like he would last too long. With a clever enough strategy Jimmy could win this battle either this round or next. Now all he needed was some good moves and a bit of luck. The Harden/Pound combo seemed to work well last time but Jimmy was hoping for something a little more creative rather than just using the same strategy as last round. Seeing as how Ekans seemed to anger easily by getting attacked Jimmy thought he should let Grimer deal the majority of damage as he still had a lot of HP left. Then again Beldum's steel defence meant he probably wouldn't be harmed to much by Ekan's Wrap attack and he was unaffected by poison meaning he could attack with next to no consequences. Seeing as how the battle was nearing the end Jimmy decided to just attack go for the win rather than think out a full-proof strategy, but he decided that when this battle was over he would have to teach Grimer some more powerful moves. "Okay Grimer, Beldum great job last round. Now then I think we should close in for the win. Beldum hit hard and fast with Take Down. Grimer once Beldum has hit with Take Down I want you to jump into the air and slam down with a Pound got it?" Jimmy commanded, checking to make sure Steve and Poochy were okay. He hoped this attack would work well and leave Ekans weaker or knocked out. He also noted how the trainer seemed to show respect for his partner when it pulled off a good move...maybe there was hope for at least one of these punks. Edited by killaz, Mar 3 2009, 03:44 PM.

Victory was in sight... you could practically smell it. It's just a shame that your opponent didn't realize how badly the battle was going for him, otherwise he might have had the sense to pull Ekans out before it got seriously injured, but he didn't. As you issued what you hoped would be your final commands for the battle, you noticed Steve rush forwards and scoop his Poochyena up in his arms. That boy had clearly had enough of the battle, considering the state of his Pokémon, and had decided that he was sick of sticking up for himself. Looked like the rest of the battle was going to come down to you. It didn't matter though; the way things were going, there shouldn't be any reason that you wouldn't be able to win it on your own from here. Suddenly, the Ekans struck. Once again, her trainer hadn't issued any orders to her, she was taking over this battle... or so she thought, as she raced along the ground towards your Grimer. The speed that the snake Pokémon was able to travel was almost frightening and it was only due to the fact that Grimers are almost liquid that he managed to dodge the makeshift tackle. Unfortunately for the Ekans, that was as close as it was getting. As soon as the snake had slipped past, Grimer and Beldum were both on it's tail. In an incredible display of determination, Beldum through itself fiercely towards Ekans, impacting where the Pokémon's shoulder would be... if it had them. Of course, it didn't look particularly comfortable for Beldum, as is the nature of take down, because it ended up landing uncomfortably on top of Ekans before sort of bouncing off across the street. In any case, Ekans was far worse off. Grimer didn't waste any time either; as soon as Beldum was clear of the target area, he launched himself into the air and dropped down in an aggressive Pound attack. Ekans let out a scream of pain as she was crushed between the ground and the Grimer, but managed to turn around to face her opponents one last time. The Ekans' trainer was in absolute shock, and had been for quite some time, because ever since Ekans missed the tackle maneuver that she'd attempted, he'd been standing there with his jaw hanging open, unable to say a word. Anyway, this battle was won. You could be nice, and leave it like it is, which wouldn't really get you anywhere, or you could finish the Ekans off, rake in the experience, and teach those bullies a lesson they'll never forget. Ekans was helpless. This wouldn't last long. Jimmy may have given this kid a chance to return his pokemon. But after the way they disrespected him and picked on Steve there was no way he was going to let this punk get away. Seeing Steve collect his Poochyena, Jimmy knew it was all down to him. Poochy had played his part in the battle. "Steve, don't forget there is a pokemon centre behind you if you want to heal Poochy." Jimmy said, trying not to sound like he was ordering Steve around. "Yeah here we go!" Jimmy shouted, gloating a little. This was his chance to prove that he wouldn't stand by and let people do whatever they pleased if it was wrong. This was also another chance for people to notice Jimmy and may ask for his services, therefore putting him one step closer to his dream. Now then the only thing standing in Jimmy's way, was the hopeless Ekans. A truly worthy opponent, the only problem was the trainer. A poor excuse for a trainer the ended up with his own pokemon disobeying his orders and battling the way she wanted. "Okay guys this battle will soon be over. Lets make this quick. Hit them hard and fast." Jimmy commanded. He didn't have anything special planned. He was just going to launch a simple yet hopefully effective attack. Although he couldn't see Ekans surviving this round there was still a chance an attack might not hit so he should be prepared to battle another round. "Beldum hit Ekans with one final Take Down attack. After that Grimer use Pound. Lets get this over with." Jimmy finished. His attacks were set. All he had to do was wait and see what happened. |
