Such an awe-inspiring sight. Beldum's raw power overwhelmed the Sandshrew into submission...but that wasn't the only thing...Beldum began to glow, and change...into a new pokemon...Metang. His form was different...but it looked so much more powerful. Jimmy knew he had made the right choice when he stole Beldum all those months ago, looking at his raw might as he screamed out his name

"METAANNNG!!!"

With this new pokemon, Jimmy was one step closer to realising his dream of being the number one most feared pokemon trainer of all time. A malicious smile crossed Jimmy's face. This was it.

"Alright Beldu...Metang, looks like you've finally become something fierce. I wanna test out your new power." Jimmy stated, but that would have to wait. He did have to finish move tutoring the last of his pokemon though. It seemed like Nidoran had also finished his training, that was good. Helping Hand would prove rather useful in the future.

Aron had done well for now...he was certainly starting to prove himself. Once he began to get stronger he would become a real force to be dealt with. Returning him to his pokeball, Jimmy was proud of how his team was shaping up. They were not slackers, but rather one unit, all with the same goal as being recognised as the most powerful of pokemon. Fitting that after being together so long, they all now have similar goals...Jimmy guessed it's true that the traits of a trainer rub off onto the pokemon.

Tentacool

Tentacool was close, real close. He could build up water and expel it out quite well, now he needed to get the confusion part down. Simple enough.

"Tentacool you've done well. Build up the water again, but also remember how to use Supersonic? Allow a Supersonic to flow through the water as well, then release both at once, same as before. That should make you realise how the move works." Jimmy ordered. Over to Croagunk.

Croagunk

Looks like all that was left was the explosion. Again Jimmy ordered Grimer to use Sludge Bomb, and for Croagunk to observe. Seeing the Sludge Bomb impact should show to Croagunk how the move should finish.

"Croagunk...build up another Mud Bomb, hold it above your head and launch it as hard as you can. Pick a specific spot, don't just throw randomly. Try making it a little bigger than normal so you can cause a bigger radius." Jimmy ordered.

Things were close to wrapping out. Jimmy had made his final decisions on his next move. Although he had had a number of thoughts on what he did next his decision was clear. He wanted one of two things. One was to find the winner of the Tournament of Aegis and challenge him, the other was to seek out and recruit two potential allies so he could journey to the Rythos Islands and claim all the rare treasures they had to offer. But finding recruits wouldn't be easy. Jimmy didn't care if they were soppy do-gooders, or people who's hearts were tainted with crime. Jimmy wanted those rewards and would do anything to get them. He could then challenge the Peddleton Gym Leader and take over that stupid town. The first of many.

:tentacool

The jellyfish was trying his best. Putting Supersonic waves through water sounded easier then it was. He tried once more, building the water up. After he started to release it, he tried mixing the Supersonic with it. His face cringed, showing it wasn't going all that easy. Maybe another try next turn, but Tentacool stopped his combo and started to show a little fatigue.

Curve at 90%

:croagunk

Croagunk's instructions lacked. He had been having trouble with the bursting effect. The radius of the break was what needed to be looked upon. As Croagunk conjured a yet larger ball of mud, his worries caught up to him. The mud was getting to be heavy, or too soft with the mass and moisture. He tried to quickly pick a spot, hold the mud together, pick it up and throw it with such haste. In the air, the mud started to fall away, but the majority of the mud stayed in tact and fell to the ground as one. The burst was the same, but a little more because of the hasty throw. The best I could say is: Try Again.

Curve at 80%

You were getting towards the end of tutoring. Tentacool and Croagunk were both almost at the same area of their moves. However, when you glanced into the distance, something caught your eyes. A rather large pokemon chasing another. One had scythes, which would probably catch your interest any day. The other had a rather bulbous plant attached to it. From the distance, you couldn't be one hundred percent sure, but pretty sure. Scyther and Bulbasaur.

(A little speed here, because there is a lot to this plot...) You went into pursuit after seeing them. Returned the pokemon to their respected pokeballs, of course. After a while of going after them, they split up. Well, isn't that strange. You could've sworn that the Scyther was chasing the Bulbasaur. Why didn't the Scyther go down the same path? But then it hit you: the fear of something. You turned around only to see a pair of twins stopping at the sight of you. They were about sixteen in age, with brown eyes and short brown hair.

"Bulbasaur went left!"
"Scyther went right!"

They shouted out the obvious. Both were staring at the path, and only minding you as a blockade. They didn't look your way, nor say or mumble a word. But that was all about to stop.

"Mister, get out of the way. We need to get those pokemon. They're ours to catch!" Who were they to be talking to you like that!? Of course, to try and catch such pokemon, surely they had to have pokemon on them. Looks like you'd be fighting for the right to go down a path.

"My name is Remedy, here is my friend!" He sent a Luxio out.
"My name is Melody, here is my friend. And don't make fun of my name!" He sent out a Tauros. The four-legged pokemon seemed aggressive, but nothing would stop the new Metang!!!!

Just as things were finally about to wrap up Jimmy's interest was sparked by the sudden appearance of two very interesting pokemon. Bulbasaur and Scyther. Now although lacking too much knowledge on pokemon Jimmy knew instinctively that these pokemon were future steel and poison types. He had made sure to do some research on these types of pokemon so that he wouldn't end up catching some useless pokemon that he wouldn't need. Returning his pokemon, Jimmy watched as the two pokemon sped off in different directions...that was a pain.

Walking slowly towards the area the pokemon had sped off to, he was suddenly greeted by two youngsters who seemed to be rather disrespectful towards him. However they started running their mouths and told Jimmy their names;

"Mistake Number One!"

Was the first thought in Jimmy's head. Never tell a complete stranger your name, it was pointless anyway. Only the victor's name needed to be known, the losers didn't need to be remembered. With that they pulled out their pokemon and seemed to challenging him to a battle.

"Mistake Number Two!"

Now they just showing Jimmy their pathetic pokemon. They should have at least waited for him to agree to battle...their impatience would prove an advantage, especially seeing as how they didn't seem to get along too well. A small, malicious grin appeared on Jimmy's face as he looked at the two of them;

"I guess I've got some time" Jimmy said calmly, as he released Metang and Nidorino onto the battlefield. "Nidorino, start by using Helping Hand, then use a Double Kick on that Tauros. Metang, use a Confusion on that Luxio, then charge at Tauros with an Iron Head" Jimmy then ordered. This battle probably wouldn't cause too many problems, these trainers didn't seem like they could cause any threat.

"Execute"

The twins started things off with such haste. That much was for sure, and you seem to have been thinking it was to your advantage. However, you never know if they have more then one pokemon. This would be a rather big, and tedious battle. So let us get started so we can get as soon as possible. This way you can get to Scyther or Bulbasaur.

Nidorino had previous learned Helping Hand before he had evolved. Which was pretty sudden to you. Must've been the fighting at the Tournament. Anyway, Nidorino used Helping Hand, boosting the feeling and power within Metang's steel body. The giant purple pokemon assisted in any way he could with the giant, blue, steel pokemon. Then the mighty hind legs of the purple pokemon twisted as it took almost no time at all for it to run to Tauros. A quick thrust almost caught Tauros, but the raging pokemon dodged as quick as your Nidorino tried to kick it. It came down, striking Nidorino.

Now it was Metang's turn. Ohhhh, this beastly pokemon was sure to do some damage. Not to mention that it rocked in defense, I think. Whether my knowledge of Metang's is enough or not, I'll double check in due time. Anyway, your first part in the chain of commands was to use Confusion. Beldum didn't know this move, so watching it use this must be new. It's eyes turn a rather red color, or maybe a light pink tint in there. Either way, Metang sent it's new psychic powers towards Luxio, and grabbed it. The canine-like pokemon was in the air by the time you looked over and witnessed it. As if in pain, the Luxio's face cringed. Confusion was a move that sent chaos into the victim's mind. I wonder what sorts of things it was sending... Anywho, that isn't the end! Metang released it, and Luxio fell to the ground. As Tauros had been distracted seeing what was going on with Luxio, Metang hovered quickly to it and caught it (unlike Nidorino) with an Iron Head. The move knocked the bull-like pokemon in the shoulder, shocking a major wave of pain.

What a round. But on to the next one. Luxio didn't attack; Metang did some heavy shit inside his head.

Jimmy watched as Metang executed it's new attacks with little difficulty. How strange it was that it had suddenly mastered these moves with no effort, just through a form change. Evolution was certainly curious, but Jimmy welcomed this new power with open arms, it would only bring him one step closer to his goals. Metang certainly proved it was just as tough as it was as a Beldum, if not tougher. The love of the fight and the pointless sensation of eliminating ones enemy was just glorious. These twins certainly didn't have a clue what they doing. They had barely attacked. This was all just wasted effort, but if it meant that Jimmy could inflict just a little pain, it would be worth it.

"Stupid little runts." Jimmy thought as he decided on his next move. Not that it mattered, this battle would be over soon.

"Nidorino, use two Double Kicks on that Tauros, I don't expect you to miss again. Metang, after Nidorino, use an Iron Head on that Tauros, then concentrate and use a Confusion on Luxio, I want you to cause as much pain as possible." Jimmy ordered. Watching Luxio cringe in pain earlier only tempted Jimmy's desire to cause more. Such a scary power was psychic ability. It was like invisible torment. Jimmy certainly lucked out when he stole Beldum all that time ago. It's psychic ability would be perfect later on. For now this would do, Metang and Nidorino could handle this round for now.

Derping... All Day, Every Day!

Your new orders were in; a dual kicking move, twice, and an assault from the steel BAMF (wait until the Metagross). Let's get this going, though, shall we? Your Nidorino ran in and towards the Tauros. Previously, missing his target and having to redeem himself. However, it wouldn't be hard at all now. Tauros' shoulder was injured. It was bad enough the weight he carried was on it, let alone putting more force on it to jump. The first of two Double Kicks hit, knocking the Tauros nearly to the ground. Even with his balance, Tauros was close to falling over and then it'd be close to done. I don't think cows, or bulls, or even horses can be on their side without it causing possible damage. Then again, I have no knowledge on them. Either way, Nidorino rushed the few steps he had to take before twisting around, once more, and delivering two heavy kicks. Double Kick always keeped like a good move to have if you want to cause damage!

Metang wasn't far behind. Your entire team seemed to be rushing the Tauros. The Iron Head knocked Tauros, forcing him to slide a good twenty feet away, maybe more. The Tauros' face cringed with pain from it's shoulder, and from the assault you were laying on it. It felt disabled to move, not wanting more pain. It was almost like giving up. Metang left it alone, however, and went to Luxio. The electric type was getting closer, to strike the huge steel type, but the Metang's eyes glowed once more and caught the Luxio. Lifting it into the air, the chaos reigned supreme once more. Luxio fall to the ground, and let out tiny howls signaling pain. What power you're displaying for a couple of kids. (Haha).

"How pathetic," Jimmy said, looking at the pair of worthless excuses for pokemon trainers standing in front of him. "I was hoping to have a little fun with this battle, but you two aren't even worth fighting against. I'm going to finish this battle off, you've wasted enough of my time." Jimmy finished. He couldn't believe how these two had managed to even raise their pokemon to this level. Did they just drop them off in a daycare or something? They had barely launched any attacks, and Jimmy's team was still fighting fit. True, they may still have more pokemon left, but at the rate this battle was going, they were just digging graves for their pokemon.

Jimmy couldn't even be bothered to come up with a battle plan. He was just going to pound them into the ground until they couldn't get up. If they released anymore, then they would also be destroyed. Why did they have to children though? Jimmy hated children. They always seem to get in the way and cause more problems.

"You two ready?" Jimmy asked as the battle prepared for it's end. "Metang, use Confusion on Luxio. Cause it such severe pain it will curse it's owner's weakness. Then, destroy it. Nidorino, use three Double Kicks. Pound Tauros until it's blood stains the ground." Jimmy ordered, keeping a straight, calm face. He had never been bored in a battle before. They were worthless and pathetic. They would pay...with their pokemon's lives.

Aaaaaaaaalright! Continuing the battle, we have Tauros knocked over, Luxio with a headache. What more badass things can you do? Oh, I can just see what is going to happen within the note you left. If Luxio's head doesn't explode, and Tauros' body fall apart limb by limb, you may have a battle in the next post. Let's get started and see where everyone stands. As for the kids, well, no need to worry. They look as if they are about to be in tears due to what is happening to their pokemon. Brutal.

Metang took no time at all; lifting Luxio was no problem anymore. In a few seconds, the chaos channeled into the four-legged pokemon's mind. It's mind and face cringing at every sour thought. When he thought it was done, you did it again. Oh, and you didn't want to stop at two. Instead, a third time! When Luxio got down, it took a few moments to recover. Truth is, you're so harsh that it didn't recover properly. Instead, it whacked itself a good punch, or paw, to the side of it's face. Nearly nothing left...

Nidorino was just a beast with it's Double Kicks. Without wasting time, it moved in and did the first pair. By the second, Tauros fell over. Melody returned the Tauros that was beaten and released a much more terrifying monster--HOUNDOOM! RAWR! This badass looking canine turned my stomach. :3

Sorry for length. Wanted to get it done before I got too busy and it is at least right to the point. If any problems, PM me. I will fix them as soon as I can!

What a sight to witness such a magnificent pokemon like Tauros fall without putting up so much of a fight. That was the power Jimmy had been searching for within his pokemon and it seemed like they had found it. The pathetic excuse of a pokemon trainer would return their pokemon and would commence with sending out a second...Jimmy waited patiently as he anticipated the next pathetic pokemon to appear.

"What?" Jimmy cursed, as the pokemon that appeared was a Houndoom. "Hah, just my luck" He said to himself. If there was one thing Jimmy could be sure of from a battle, it was that the opposing trainer would use something that would cause Beldum/Metang to be at a disadvantage. The first few times this happened Jimmy was certainly annoyed, but now being used to it, he welcomed the challenge. Metang was easily capable of taking out the pathetic hell hound, as was Nidorino. In fact, Nidorino had an advantage. This battle was just going to drag on until these stupid kids decided they didn't want Jimmy to kill any more of their pokemon. Hopefully they'd realise soon so Jimmy could be on his way.

"Alright looks like you brought something out that can actually fight this time...not that it matters. Metang, don't worry about Houndoom for now, it should only know one fire attack at this point, and it's a pretty weak one anyway. For now focus on killing Luxio. Use Take Down to get in close, then use a Confusion at close range, got it?" Jimmy ordered to his first pokemon, Metang. Normally he would avoid using Take Down, but since Luxio had a resistance to steel type attacks, Jimmy had little choice. It was now that Jimmy wondered why he had yet to hear Metang's voice inside his head. Beldum certainly liked to express it's opinions over every move Jimmy made. Maybe Metang had finally accepted Jimmy was the master and it was just the pokemon.

"Now for you Nidorino, your fight type abilities are super effective against Houndoom, I want you to use a Leer on it then execute a Double Kick, make sure it connects." Jimmy ordered sternly. With that all sorted, it was time to watch Luxio die, and to begin watching as Houndoom slowly rots away to nothing. Jimmy was certain the Houndoom's owner would focus on Metang, what with the type advantage and all, but that didn't matter. Jimmy had a pokemon hidden away just waiting to get back onto the battlefield.

This battle wasn't exactly close to being over. Remedy still had one more pokemon, that he boasted the pokeball by playing juggle with. Although, deep down, he knew it would be no match. How could it be, when his Luxio is being beat down. It didn't matter right now, because Metang went forward, and tried to get close with Take Down. Luxio thought it could get around it, but as it moved, it was caught. Metang finished it off with Take Down instead of Confusion. Oh well, saves you some energy. (Experience Points for the end of the battle.)

On to the next part. Remedy throw up a pokeball, when he had taken Luxio's out. The next one seemed to be a more valuable one, as it seemed by treating the situation. Out popped a Sandslash. The mouse quickly moved to where Metang was and struck him with a Crush Claw. He wanted the steel type to experience his power. As that ended, your Nidorino made a very loud noise. Maybe it was a battle cry. Oh no, it was Houndoom laying down two nasty Bite moves, after Nidorino had seemingly knocked it around with it's hind legs. It seems Houndoom had more damage then it was worth, so leer must've worked, as well. However, it didn't really do anything. The level gap between them made the move feel like almost nothing happened.

"So the true battle begins" Jimmy thought to himself as both Sandslash and Houndoom made their presence felt. "Well it's about time."

The two trainers had released pokemon that looked like they actually had fighting potential, not bad. But runts were still runts and the fact that Jimmy had knocked out Luxio and Tauros so easily, he didn't hold much hope for these two either. In fact he knew they stood no chance at all. Even if they somehow defeated the tiring Metang and Nidorino, they would be no match for his Tentacool, who would make swift work of both of them. It was a losing battle that was just dragging on for the hell of it now.

Still, Jimmy got a chance to boast Metang's new power, and he gets to kick around some worthless trainers so it wasn't a massive waste of time. Jimmy wasn't a fool. He knew the level difference wasn't in his favour, but his skill far surpasses theirs. The victory was absolute. All he had to do was make sure Metang and Nidorino came out with as little injury as possible. He may need them still and he wasn't going to make another stupid trek to the pokemon centre.

"Well then, that takes care of the warm-up, what's say we make this interesting? $250 says I'll come out on top this battle. Do we have a deal?" Jimmy beckoned to the trainers who's names he had forgotten...not like they was worth remembering. Still he might as well try and squeeze some money out of them.

"Metang let's stick with the same strategy. No point changing it for these losers. Focus on Sandshrew and twist it's mind with a Confusion, then charge in fast with an Iron Head. Nidorino, use Leer again on Houndoom, then try Double Kick once more." Jimmy ordered. The fact that Double Kick was a super effective move on Houndoom, and it still did little damage would be a big problem. If Jimmy could whittle it's defence down little by little, then it should start feeling the effects. Still nothing left to do now but sit back and enjoy the carnage.

The boys looked at each other. Money wasn't exactly a problem to them, but that was a lot for them to just give up--if they lose. Which, they had enough confidence to last them. They finally decided it was reasonable. Like telepathic twins, they turned to each other and gave a high-five to the other, without words. How cool. Didn't matter; a battle with a wager was now going on. First off, Metang. What a beast! Why haven't these kids learn anything? Well, it was time for them to learn. Metang immediately focused on the Sandslash, picking it up with Confusion and starting to spread chaos. As you dropped it, the Metang sprang forward, hitting it and sending the oversized mouse pokemon into a tree. The boys were in shock. Not just them, but Sandslash seemed to be. Or, confused, not shocked. It went to go and strike Metang, but missed. Then it did it again, and ended up hitting itself.

As for Nidorino, well, need I say more? This was pointless. Didn't you learn that? The leer connected, and Houndoom roared in anger. It was actual Howl. By the time it stopped, Nidorino knocked him with Double Kick! You're going to need to hold a turn and use as many Leers as you can. Otherwise, find some weak points, or something. But Houndoom wasn't going to let you go. Instead, it bit Nidorino's hind leg. Nidorino got away, running after that happened. But as it did so, you noticed the Bite was deep.

The twins had accepted the bet...wonderful, Jimmy could use the money. This battle was lasting longer than Jimmy wanted to, as much as he would like to say it's time to end this, that Houndoom was going to cause problems. It's level was high and it was resistant to steel and immune to psychic. Not only that but it had weakened Nidorino somewhat and had injured it's leg. Oh well, there was nothing to be done about it. If Nidorino could simply weaken Houndoom, then it didn't matter what happened to him, Jimmy's next pokemon would defeat it.

It seemed that Sandslash had taken quite a bit of damage from Metang's attack, and to top it off it was confused. Two more rounds and Metang should finish it off. For this round, Jimmy was going to have to try and get around that Houndoom's defence and try and weaken it enough that noticeable could be inflicted.

"Alright Metang keep it up, use two Iron Heads!!" Jimmy ordered. "Nidorino, use three Leers. Time them right so that they all connect, don't let Houndoom have a chance to dodge. Try and keep your distance as much as possible this round." Jimmy finished. Jimmy fingered the pokeball containing Tentacool in his pocket. He didn't want to have to use him, especially since his training was unfinished, but if it came to it Jimmy would decimate both Houndoom and Sandslash with it.

Whoa, this time around is a little different. No more Confusions and Double Kicks! This time, you were going for some Iron Heads and Leers. Whoa, that is a lot of leers! Surely, Houndoom's defense will be low. As Nidorino performed each, in succession, Houndoom was caught by each. He allowed himself, and arched his head up repeatedly, beckoning for the Nidorino to come forth and try hitting him. The canine smirked, watching drops of blood come from Nidorino. On the other side of things, Sandslash was confused. It hit itself in confusion. That gave Metang enough time to get to the mouse, and it also left it vulnerable. Boom! Metang clashed with the mouse, and as it fell to the ground, Metang did it again. Brutal.

"This isn't going good for us, Melody!"
"Why must you remind me! Sandslash! Houndoom! We're commanding them horribly. But do not fear, we'll go after the other pokemon that this man does not!" Melody seemed to have a plan.

((OOC: Sorry for the length. Trying to get this battle over so we can move on. It's a long battle. lol))

This battle was over, there was no point continuing. Houndoom, although fighting strong had such low defence that an assault from both pokemon would knock it down a few pegs. Sandslash was near defeat and would hopefully fall this round. Jimmy couldn't help but overhear them talking about going after whichever pokemon he didn't go for...well since he was about to crush their remaining pokemon they didn't stand much chance. Such simpletons. At least they admitted their commands had been pathetic, Jimmy couldn't help but rub it in a little bit...even if this would give them attack ideas, at least he could have a bit of fun in this battle. Jimmy had done nothing but go through the motions to get it over with. His adrenaline hadn't pumped him up, and he hadn't felt the sudden rush that normally drove his mind crazy, making him make risky moves in a last ditch attempt at victory. Such a pity.

"Of course your commands have been horrid, your style of battle is immature and pathetic. You've focused on the fact your pokemon are evolved and should therefore be stronger. Your levels may be higher, but you have no strategy. You haven't even acknowledged the fact I'm fighting with a steel type and you own a fire type. Not only that, but your Houndoom is also steel resistant. If you'd have focused and thought things through you could have done quite a bit damage. But you failed to work together and now your going to lose. I've never thought anyone so useless, let alone a pair. I'm through playing around waiting for you to do something." Jimmy spoke calmly as he prepared to attack.

"Metang, tuck your limbs in and use Jet Propulsion to speed towards Sandslash, hit it as hard as possible with an Iron Head, then take to the air and slam back down with a second. Utilise your maximum speed and attack!!" Jimmy ordered. Jet Propulsion was a unique ability for Metang and should allow him to build up a great speed to deal extra damage. The second should hopefully knock out the shrew pokemon. "Nidorino, Houndoom is weakened greatly. Use one more Leer, then use two Double Kicks. Try to avoid using your injured leg." Jimmy finished. He wondered how far those two pokemon had gotten now. If he could only go for one he knew exactly which of the pokemon he wanted. That winged pokemon with the scythes...he couldn't remember it's name, but it looked very powerful. A perfect fit for Jimmy's team.
