Derping... All Day, Every Day!

You wanted to end this, and move on, right? A wager was on the line, and the $400 seemed to be in your grasp. All they was in between you and victory was a stubborn plant pokemon. Beldum knew this as well, wanting this battle end. He rushed in, coming down on Bellsprout hard, taking out a good chunk of health. Grimer moved in, to throw some Sludge at Bells. It hit, consecutively, and knocked Bellsprout over. It was tired, and eagerly wanting a nap. With the defense down, you made it go low enough.

:bellsprout 's :hp is at 13/57

"Return, Bells." He said, recalling his pokemon. You made it go below the twenty-five percent mark, making this battle more pointless. He took out the money, rolled it up, tied a rubber band around it and tossed it your way. "I'll get you back, one day, punk." He turned and started to walk.

Any last words, or actions, and where does Jimmy seek to go or do next?

Battle Won!
Won $400
:beldum gained 22.75 :exp from battling a Trainer.
Beldum went to level 18 (3.75/18)
:grimer gained 22.75 :exp (I doubled... no tripled checked) from battling a Trainer.
Grimer went to level 15! (14.65/15 (Sorry, but it's what I got))

Returning his pokemon, Jimmy watched as his opponent ran off like the scared little baby he was. Finally the battle was ended.

"Couldn't even see it through to the end huh? Hahaha" Jimmy laughed as he received his $400 and his opponent disappeared out of his sight. Well that certainly killed some time. Seems like Beldum and Grimer got pretty strong too. After a slow walk out of the forest, Jimmy ignored the surroundings and headed to the pokemon centre, healing his pokemon and making sure to get out before anyone bothered him. Now he was back where he started. Standing outside the pokemon centre, looking for trainers. He had already defeated two and it seemed like he was on a roll. Defeating a family with some powerful pokemon wasn't easy, but hopefully the embarrassing defeat of the last two will get some people out, maybe looking for revenge for their fallen comrades.

Thinking to himself however, Jimmy didn't really want to stay in Nogou anymore. Those two battles had certainly calmed him down. This greenery was sickening. Maybe he could find some stronger trainers in the Joukai Pass. He had skipped by it earlier to get here and never really explored it. It may hold some rare pokemon and items...and powerful trainers. So, abandoning his earlier plans of defeating every trainer in Nogou, Jimmy decided to head to Joukai. Spitting on the floor as he began walking.

"I'm sick of this awful town."

As he headed to the exit of the town, Jimmy wondered if it was worth expanding his team to add more steel/poison types, or whether it was worth concentrating on the ones he had now. Aron certainly needed experience. Zephtyrex suddenly sprung into Jimmy's mind. He's been to Joukai before. Zephtyrex didn't know Fly...but could it take him there. Oh well for now Jimmy decided to walk. There was more chance of something interesting happening that way.

You healed up, looked over your things, and decided to work. You decided to get on your way, desiring a new scene surrounding you. Walking may turn out to be the best, and who knows, you could find a pokemon you want.

Walking straight through Nogou, and out of your way towards Route 2, you reached it in no time at all. You thought of how you wanted experience for Aron, but maybe keep up with Beldum and Grimer. Beldum is becoming very strong, and nearing the twenties. Oh, by the way, may I say that hitting twenty is the way Beldum evolves. Can you imagine having it evolve? Sorry, but I'd really like to see it. No joke, at all. But things are up to you.

Looking over, you're nearing the place you want to be by see an open opportunity. A Croagunk family is moving along towards Nogou, the path you used to get to where you are.

Well, well, well looks like a real treat. A group of Croagunk's that looked particularly powerful. What a great chance to increase his power...and increase his team. If Jimmy's theory was correct, then that meant Croagunk was a poison type. Perfect. It had two younglings with it as well. Jimmy was sure they could be sold off. Better than leaving them to starve without their father...yeah that would suffice as an excuse. Guess it was yet another battle Jimmy decided. This time, a surprise attack would be in order. Drawing out two pokeballs. One containing Beldum...Jimmy was stuck for choice on the other. Aron took quadruple from fight and ground..but even at Level 20, Croagunk didn't know many powerful ground types and no fighting type moves yet...still the risk was too great. Jimmy decided Grimer would be his choice this battle.

"Come out." Jimmy shouted. Throwing his two pokeballs into the air. His two pokemon stood, ready to receive their orders. "You guys ready for more battles." Jimmy said, with a smile. He realised he had been a bit harsh on his pokemon recently. They had been through a lot of battles because Jimmy wanted to prove something to the rest of the humans...it wasn't their fault. Jimmy decided he may as well treat them better, then they would work harder for him. Both pokemon seemed raring to go, Beldum seemed especially excited. Jimmy wondered what it was all about. Maybe he'll find out soon. "Right, see those Croagunk there?" Jimmy pointed. "Let's get a sneak attack on 'em. Beldum use two Take Downs. Grimer, use Harden, then a Pound attack, both of you go for the stronger looking one." Jimmy ordered.

Another battle. At least it wasn't a trainer for now. But soon he'll find some more. Jimmy stood tall as he waited for his pokemon to attack. It was true what he thought. His pokemon deserved respect, but until this world realises how powerful he is, he would hunt down trainer after trainer.

A sneak attack, huh? Not to fair, but then again, who said you wanted to play fair. Releasing the pokemon and sending them to attack was sharp, and I got to see how this unfolds. Beldum, the one your gave orders to first, moved in. Quickly. However, seeing you before the others, the runt of the family moved in your way. It took an extra hard Take Down. She got up, still blocking the way, and took a second. Sorry, but the father figure seems to be protected.

Even Grimer had the same trouble; after using Harden, moving in was a piece of cake. The pound was delivered to the runt, who jumped in again. She showed a lot of determination to save her father and sister. All three then had to retailiate by using Astonish, twice. They came at your pokemon, disappearing with speed to only reappear at a blind spot. Only for the move, was speed that great. The level 20, the father, did a little more then you expected, but not much.

So the little runt wanted to die? That's fine. Jimmy was shocked at how the youngest was protecting the oldest. Surely it should be the other way around. No matter, if they want to stand in his way, he will run them all down. Having to avoid using Poison type moves, Jimmy decided it was best to stick with Pound and Harden for now. Once the kids were out the way, Jimmy would take on the adult. It was the most powerful pokemon Jimmy had faced yet. But that didn't mean it would be the most difficult. It was only a wild pokemon. It hadn't been raised properly by a trainer so it wouldn't fare equally as well as the Nuzleaf did earlier. That means this battle should go a bit quicker. Just a bit though.

"Right. Beldum use two Take Downs on that youngling. Grimer, Harden, then use Pound!" Jimmy ordered. If both of them attacked the little one, it would fall, there was no doubt about it. Beldum was three times it's level, both Take Downs should be enough to finish the baby one off. "If the Croagunk goes down, aim your attacks at the other youngling!" Jimmy shouted. That way he wouldn't be wasting his attacks. Jimmy was 100 percent confident that he would defeat the younger one and take a small chunk out of the other Croagunk's health. Perhaps he should attempt a capture at the younger one. May as well. Removing a pokeball, Jimmy prepared to throw it when the Croagunk fell.

Rushing in with the same momentum, Beldum clearly wanted to finish off the youngest. It's thirst for battle was equal to what seemed your own. Flying through the air like a bullet, the Croagunk took a critical Take Down, knocking it out for good. That's what you wanted; you and Beldum, a like. Now, with the next Take Down, it went quickly for the other youngling. It didn't do as much damage, but did a lot. Grimer wasn't too far behind, sneaking in and getting in his moves as well. Croagunk, the youngling, was nearing the status of it's younger relative.

With no moves to really damage you, both used Astonish on the Beldum. The round ended fast, and the Croagunk's watched on, witnessing each other's demise and defeat.

[OOC - The Level 12 Croagunk was Male when we started!! XD]

Excellent. The first Croagunk had fallen and it wouldn't be long before the second one fell as well. Grimer was sufficiently pumped up so he could attack a bit more now. Unlike previous battles, Jimmy was saving his three move combo for later, when he would launch an all out charge against the eldest Croagunk. Seems like he had picked up some experience in the last battle, where his three move combo had failed horribly. Now then, onto the battle. Fairly simple. Continue to abuse Take Down and Pound until the second Croagunk was no more, then it was onto the adult. Jimmy decided he would make a capture of the weakest Croagunk. After he had made his orders of course.

"Beldum, hit hard two Take Downs against the second Croagunk!! Grimer, two Pounds." Jimmy ordered. Again it was nothing special, but it should deal some decent damage, enough to knock Croagunk out in the next round perhaps. Holding the pokeball in his hand, Jimmy decided it was time. Throwing the pokeball into the air he attempted a capture on the knocked out Croagunk. There was nothing left to do but wait.

Moving in quick, knowing your intentions, Beldum used Take Down. Momentum helped take a little bonus again. A second one followed, taking out good damage. Grimer moved in and you found it damaging it enough. Enough to try a capture attempt. It took a minute of struggling, and the frog was freed. The ball was kicked back to you, well, it was an attempt to hit you but failed. Croagunk didn't get captured, but you didn't lose a ball either. Damage it again, and we can see what happened. As for the frogs' turn, they simple kept on you with Astonish. That is pretty much all they can do. Unfortunately, this cannot go faster.

[OOC - So is the Level 12 female now? It was male earlier. =)]

So the capture attempt had failed but at least Jimmy had saved the pokeball. Hard to believe a knocked out pokemon had the energy to break out. Still he'd try again next round, after hopefully knocking out the slightly stronger Croagunk. So one down, two to go, things were looking pretty good. It only confirmed that wild pokemon were a lot weaker without a trainer to guide them.

"Don't worry, we'll soon fix that." Jimmy thought to himself as he made sure he had two pokeballs on hand to attempt two captures. It shouldn't take much to knock out the second Croagunk. It was almost down and with the Level difference between it and Beldum, and the fact that Take Down was a pretty high ranked move, it should fall this round. This was all theory of course. The end result would be based on how much effort his pokemon put in.

"Beldum, two more Take Downs on the weaker Croagunk. Get a knock out. Grimer two Sludge attacks, if Croagunk is still standing, then finish it off, otherwise aim for the stronger one." Jimmy ordered. So with the orders set, he threw the pokeball he retrieved towards the fainted Croagunk (Level 6.) The other one would be thrown at the weakened one (Level 12,) if it was knocked out of course. That should guarantee a capture. If not, oh well. They would eventually succumb to tiredness and give in.

So another battle you're in, aren't you bored of them? Anyway, I think this battle has been a little too easy for you, so I'll try my best to make you hate me. You ordered your Beldum to use two Take Downs and your Grimer to use two Sludges. Let's get to that...

Your Beldum... floated to the weakest Croagunk and used a Take Down, successfully knocking it out. The genderless piece of steel looked over at the strongest Croagunk. You did order to use two Take Downs, so your Beldum charged at the final Croagunk. This time, luck wasn't on your side. The Croagunk evaded the attack and struck the Beldum. Hard. Your Grimer, who seemed to come out of nowhere, launched its two Sludges on the Croagunk, doing some damage. It was very little damage though, since Croagunk was resistant to poison moves. The fighting frog wasn't done though. After being shot with Sludge, he charged at your Grimer and used a Mud-Slap. It did a decent amount of damage and it also lowered your Grimer's accuracy.

This battle is far from over. You're now dealing with a fresh, strong Croagunk who's looking for some revenge after beating down and capturing his family. Oh right, I forgot to add that part in. You captured the two Croagunks and they were sent to your PC, congratulations. Maybe you can reunite the family by capturing the last Croagunk; maybe...

What an expected turn of events. The two weaker Croagunks were defeated and out of the way. Now it was time to defeat the most powerful of the Croagunk family. Perhaps it was time for an all out assault.

"No. Not yet." Jimmy thought to himself. He should power up his pokemon a bit before launching an assault. Maybe next round. The two pokeballs had dinged to signal a capture. Wonderful. They would be traded off hopefully for spare parts. Maybe some potions or pokeballs. There was definitely a profit to be made from the strongest one. Jimmy made sure he had a pokeball spare for this one. His family was gone. He may as well just give up now. he would soon be beaten. The Croagunk may be strong, but it couldn't defeat Jimmy's strongest pokemon. Now then, onto some orders for this round.

"Beldum, Focus your Attack and use a Take Down now!" Jimmy shouted. "Grimer use two Pound attacks!" Jimmy finished. The attacks should deal some decent damage. Both Beldum and Grimer were powerful. They had never let Jimmy down before. They better not now!

You have had it easy for this match, but maybe it should be harder. Yes. It'll be harder so you can earn the experience. Here we go...

Your Beldum used a quick Focus, increasing it's attack power. As it went for the Take Down, the Croagunk seemed to glare at you angrily. No, not a Stare Down, but just a normal look. As you got close, it disappeared with fast speed, appearing to your side and using Astonish on you. It barely moved you, but hit for a little damage. The Beldum turned, and finally connected a Take Down.

Grimer moved in, seeing the Take Down a success. Again, Croagunk moved, using a Mud-slap, decreasing the accuracy more. It was only hit by one pound, you getting it right in the jaw, where Beldum had used Take Down. Oh well, nothing seemed to be working this round. However, the Croagunk used a lot of energy, and if it keeps it up, it may become sluggish.

So this Croagunk certainly had some skills. It was far more powerful than other two combined. That's good. It certainly made Jimmy want to add it to his team. Something like that would definitely prove handy in the future. And it was a poison type. That made it even better. Now then, if it could keep up it's assault that would be even more impressive. But for now it was 2 v 1, and Jimmy intended on making it 2 v 0 very quickly. It would just take some precise orders. Deciding to bolster his strength some more before a full on assault, Jimmy knew he had to cover Grimer's sight loss in order to make his assault worthwhile.

"Right Beldum, Focus your Attack one more time, then hit with a Take Down!" Jimmy yelled. "Grimer, two Pound attacks. Hit as hard as you can!" Jimmy finished, waiting for his pokemon to take in the orders. This battle shouldn't last too much longer. Croagunk may be strong. But he can't take the brunt of two strong pokemon. He would fall soon. But first, Jimmy wanted to see just how good it was.

In My Little White Room Again
Well, it appears as if you decided to take the route of defeating your easier opponents first and saving the little toughy for last. Plausible strategy, yes (especially since there was a major difference in levels), but now you had to deal with the remaining Croagunk – the one who has become very upset after seeing his comrades falling in battle and being captured by the trainer that is you. But I doubt a character of your stature wouldn’t be intimidated by an infuriated toad such as this, so I’ll move on to how this round of your battle fell into play!

To begin, the limb like creature that was your Beldum closed his single eye, humming as he concentrated on the power of his attack. The moment his eye flicked open, he quickly hovered across the field to the enemy with Take Down and slammed into the Croagunk with great force. The toad fell backwards upon impact, but was able to jump back up onto his feet as Grimer readied himself for his part of the attack.

Irritated with the embarrassment of being knocked down by his opponent, the Croagunk shot forth to attack your Grimer and…disappeared? Confused, Grimer spun around in place, dumbfounded by the fact that his opponent vanished into thin air…that is until he reappeared behind him and smacked hard into Grimer with a fierce Faint Attack. Grimer flailed after being hit by the Croagunk’s sneaky strike, and randomly smacked his arms into the air attempting to Pound the creature like you had ordered. Unfortunatly, he only managed to hit the toad once.

But don’t think that this Croagunk was done with your team yet! For after being Pounded by Grimer he decided to retaliated with his own version of Pound (aka Strike) right into Grimer’s gut. Your Grimer heavily exhaled upon impact, but then, oh but then you could see a sly smile manifest upon his face. The Croagunk tried to retract his hand so that he could retreat to his side of the field when he discovered that he was stuck in Grimer’s sludgy body. He cried out, trying to pull out of the Grimer with all of his might but was unsuccessful. Perhaps now would be a good time to do some massive damage? Maybe even finish the Croagunk off if you were lucky? I would be careful though, because there is a change that you may injure your Grimer if you decided for say, Beldum, to attack….
