Welcome to Nogou Village! This seems like a really popular place for people to start for some reason. No really, I've done like four here out of the six I've done. Erm, yes, anyways, you're here in Nogou Village and ready for some action! With a Swablu and Magby by your side, there's nothing you can do! To the Batmobile!

The Batmobile's gonna have to wait though. Coming up fast is something small and rolling. It comes to a stop by your foot and you stare down at the familiar design. Then two eyes pop open and it screeches loud enough to deafen you for a minute. Another one joins the fray and the two glare viciously at you. Uh oh, this doesn't look good. You better either a) run for your life before they explode or b) send someone out to prevent them from exploding on you. And you better hurry because they look pissed.

OOC: I've decided to take another shot at roleplaying here. One last shot. Hopefully anyone I offended can forgive me. But, seriously, two Level 6 Pokémon against my Level 5's? What is going on here? Whatever, I'll try to beat them....

IC: "Whoa!" Zeke said, hopping back a bit as he was startled. He had came across not one, but Two Voltorbs, Pokémon he had never seen before in his life. Well, seeing how he had never seen a Voltorb, and how it was rare to find one out in the wild, he took out his Poketch. He then flipped on the Pokedex option of the Poketch. And with that, Dexter began to read the information stored within the Pokedex about Voltorb.

Voltorb, the Ball Pokémon. Voltorb was first sighted at a company that manufactures Poké Balls. The link between that sighting and the fact that this Pokémon looks very similar to a Poké Ball remains a mystery. It looks just like a Poké Ball. It is dangerous because it may electrocute or explode on touch.

With that knowledge, Zeke closed his Pokedex, and then turned to his two Pokémon, that were coincidentally behind him. "Swablu! Magby! Are we just going to let those guys stand in our way and block us?" he said, cheering them on to Battle. "Magby!" his Fire Pokémon shouted, taking the first stand to battle. Magby wasn't afraid of anything, and he sure wasn't going to let some Voltorb and his pal stand in his way of where he was going. Next was Swablu, who, didn't really feel like battling. It was just a little afraid of the Voltorb. Comforting it, Zeke said: "It's alright, buddy. Just get in there and try your hardest. If we don't win, we don't win, we can give it a try another day."

"Blu!" the bird Pokémon said, flying into battle. It flapped it's wings, hovering over the battlefield in the sky. It had a slight advantage over the fact that it could fly. However, Voltorb were electric Pokémon, and if they were to hit Swablu with the slightest jolt of electricity, it would surely fall from the sky. Even so, Zeke wanted to play a game of strategy against these two Voltorb. He didn't want to catch them, he merely wanted to battle them for the battling experience. "Alright, you two, let's go!" Zeke said, shouting. "Magby, use Smog on both of the Voltorb. Swablu, get ready to dodge whatever they throw at you."

OOC: How long do I have to wait for my Egg to hatch?

(OOC: Seeing that this is your first ref, it might be a while for the egg to hatch. Also welcome back)

Glimmering light reflected off the two Voltorbs as the sun rays shot down on them. Well, the sun was shining down everywhere, your eyes would cringe whenever you tilted your head even a little bit upward. Enough blabbing about how hot it is, lets get back to business shall we? The Voltorbs were stupid, I mean incredibly stupid. The Voltorbs charged at Magby head on with a tackle. Magby hesitated to blow pumes of smog, but managed to before he was ran over by the Voltorbs. A cloud of thick poison covered the area in front of Magby, Swablu hesitated to do something and just flew behind you in terror. Magby eyed the smog cloud, waiting for something to happen, something to come out. Spherical silhouettes appeared in the smog, it was ovious they were getting closer to Magby. Magby was a strong pokemon, he refused to run from a challenge like his comrade Swablu, even if it ment him getting killed.

In an instant, two purple balls rolled out from the smog and ran over Magby one at a time. By the looks of it, the Voltorbs were poisoned, hurray! But, your Magby managed to get a good chunk of damage done, being brave all the time might lead to a bad outcome. Swablu, still as useless as ever, completely hid himself behind your body. Magby turned back and stared at the frightened bird in disgust. To make matters worst, the Voltorbs decided to bring magby down even more. A loud screech boomed causing Magby's attack to lower, Voltorb had used intimidate, and it had succeeded. The other Voltorb shot a deathly gaze at your magby, Magby went mad for he thought the Voltorb was insulting him, staredown was a success. It's time to be more cautious then ever, no mistakes allowed. Magby was at a huge disadvantage and swablu was no more then a flying chicken. But maybe there was another way to get rid of these two Voltorbs, there was definitely another way.

"C'mon, Swablu!" Zeke said, shouting at his Pokémon. He didn't mean to scream at it however, it was making him mad. Though, if he had ever wanted to go down in the history books as a decent Pokémon Breeder, he would think twice. He had to come up with a solution for his Swablu. His bird Pokémon wasn't much of a battler however, it loved to perform, much like how Pokémon performed in Pokémon Contests. By nature, his Pokémon wasn't made for battling. However, what if there was a way to compromise with his Pokémon?

"Swablu, I'm sorry for yelling at you but, Magby is our friend. Are you really going to let your friend get beat out there? What I'm saying is, for you to just work with me in this battle. In fact, don't even see this as a battle, see it as a Pokémon Contest. You like to perform, right? Well, let me see how well you perform in this contest battle."

Zeke's speech touched the heart of Swablu. "Swablu?" the bird Pokémon said, pondering on if it should battle or not. After a few seconds, it had came to a conclusion. It would battle and help out Magby for now, only because Zeke and Magby was his new home. "Swablu!" the bird Pokémon shouted, agreeing with Zeke's terms and flying into the front lines next to Magby. "Magby!" the little Fire Pokémon said, encouraged that Swablu would be aiding him in this battle. Both Magby and Swablu stood fearless against the Voltorbs.

"Alright, let's spark things up! Swablu, use Astonish! Magby, hit him with Thunder Punch!"

First, Magby would attack. They were both going to hit the same Voltorb, seeing how it would be better to take out one of them first, and then take out another one later. That attack pattern seemed like less of a hassle. Magby's fist began to spark with electricity, as it ran towards one of the Voltorbs aiming punch it in the face. Sure, Thunder Punch wasn't one of the smartest of moves to use against an Electric Pokémon however, it's much better than using nothing. For now, Zeke had to fight with strategy, and his strategy was to hit the Voltorb as many times as possible. Hopefully, if the Thunder Punch were to make a direct hit, Swablu would help out with the job with Astonish. If they were lucky, the attack would work in succession and end this battle. Then again, in a battle like this, anything can go wrong.

Voltorb in Nogou Village? Strange, but I guess anything can happen here in Alternia. Why they're this pissed I have no idea, but they certainly were. And poisoning them didn't really help much. Well, can't run away now, and beating them to a pulp is sounding a lot better to Magby now that they've given him their death glare Staredown. He was rearing to go and pound them into a bloody pulp, and Swablu was building up his courage to attack. Once your two Pokemon had gotten focused, the round began.

Now, the last ref may have mentioned that these Voltorb were stupid, and they were, but that doesn't mean they didn't know how to battle. They saw Magby run in for the Thunderpunch and knew that the attack wouldn't do much damage. At the last second they each used Charge, covering themselves in electrical sparks. The sparks couldn't deal any damage, but they did raise their special defense. The punch sent the first Voltorb spinning into the second, band for a second you thought you may have turned this battle around. Unfortunately, the Voltorb had planned for this. The second one used a Tackle on his own partner, propelling him into Magby! The little live coal Pokemon had no time to dodge and was slammed by the Voltorb.

So far this wasn't going too well for you. But Swablu still had yet to move. He saw the Voltorb slamming into his friend and while he was afraid, his anger at the Voltorb for hurting his friend overcame that. He gathered all his courage and dashed in for the Astonish. The Voltorb were not expecting the little bird to attack them, so the Astonish caught them off guard. Critical strike! The Voltorb spun a little but it soon regained composure and was as mad as ever. Swablu saw their fierce eyes and his courage immediately faded. He started to fly back to you but suddenly his muscles clenched and he dropped to the ground. He was paralyzed! Looks like the Charge from earlier boosted the Voltorb's Static ability.

This isn't going so well for you, is it? Let's recap. Magby dealt a little bit of damage, but he took quite a bit as well. The Voltorb had done a bit of damage to his partner, so that was good, and Swablu did some good damage, but the little bird was paralyzed. Well, it could be worse, right? I mean, be thankful those Voltorb don't know Selfdestruct or Explode yet.

I have a bad feeling about this Zeke said to himself, grabbing his stomach. Figuratively, his stomach was churning round and round like a laundry washing machine. He felt a sudden sense of unease, as he felt that he might just lose this battle. Though, it wasn't like this was a Pokémon Battle with an opposing trainer, he was going to lose a fight with wild Voltorb! He could always run but, no, that wasn't his style. If there was anything he learned on the Farm, was that he can never turn down a challenge. No matter how tough this fight would be, he would have to stand on the front lines until he died...but, this WAS Pokémon. It wasn't like Pokémon die from battling....often....Oh boy, this WAS bad.

"Magby, defend Swablu!" Zeke commanded. He had paid attention at how Voltorb used Charge. He would only assume that an electric attack was coming next. On top of that, Swablue had been paralyzed by the Voltorb's Static ability. This put both of his Pokémon at an even higher risk. Why, the wrong move, and Magby might be paralyzed as well. And then what? The battle wouldn't even be a stalemate, seeing how the Voltorb would still be mobile. Zeke needed a plan, and a good one and quick. If he could just land a decent hit to knock out one of them out, he could probably buy himself enough time to find an exit and escape. However, he couldn't think of a plan like that now. Now, he had to buy up some time until Swablu can recover from her paralysis.

"Magby, play as Swablu's shield. Use Leer attack on anyone that comes towards you", the young Trainer commanded. He had an idea, somewhat though, it would involve Swablu and her "disadvantage". If Swablu could just recover from paralysis, just for a little bit, he could use her to hopefully land a decent hit with a combo attack. If he could take out ONE of the Voltorb, then the turn of the battle would shift greatly. All Zeke needed at the moment, was just a little bit of time.

OOC: I don't mean to be a "Smartass" but, since you can come up with intense battle strategies like that, can I do the same? And if so, depending on how I roleplay, would the damage be any stronger? Also, the Game says that charge boosts the damge of an upcoming electric attack, so in this RP, it boosts Special Defense? And one more thing, isn't Thunderpunch a physical attack? So, that would mean that boosting their Special Defense is rather hopeless? I'm just asking then again.

(You're not being a smartass, hon. I've done the same things with my responses. Yes, intricate battle strategies are allowed, and CAN come through. As far as I know, it doesn't have anything to do with your roleplaying that decides the success or failure of them, but rather it's decided by a randomizer. (Usually), unless it's going along with a story someone had planned. You're right, on the Charge, though, I didn't really understand that. However, I'll leave that as-is. I'd suggest putting in a query to Cupix, Snow, or someone higher-grade mod than myself. Until then... My ref!)

Magby nodded as Swablu cringed on the ground, small shocks of electricity trailing over his small, frail body. The little biped tried to ignore the pain he felt as he waddled over in front of his fallen comrade, spreading his legs defensively and keeping his little claws spread in front of him. Being no dull-wit, he'd begun to think up his own plots on how to defend himself and his friend, as well, though he wasn't sure how well they might work.

Your little swablu still lay crinkled on the ground as the Voltorbs began revving up their attacks again. Magby dug his heels into the ground as he waited for your commands. His eyes grew wide a moment as they met the eyes of the Voltorbs, who's only falter was in the mechanical recesses of their minds, but it was still a falter. Straight ahead they charged, one after the other.

The first collided with Magby's hands, throwing him back some, so he stood just in front of Swablu, before the second hit his partner and slid back, dazed a bit. The first continued rolling forward, trying to push the little biped under it so it could crush both pokemon at the same time.

It was about now the other one recovered, and instead rolled around, checking out the scene, before speeding towards the trio from behind. Swablu gave a small, plaintive cheep as he spotted the large 'pokeball' heading his way.

Just as collision seemed inevitable and unavoidabl, Magby's foot flew up to catch the other. After only a few seconds, it was obvious the half-balanced pose wouldn't last long.

Magby's solution? He twirled in place, lifting his foot just enough to climb over Swablu before batting him aside and he let his arms and leg fold, throwing him from between the Voltorbs... Letting them blast into each other just before their purple coat glowed softly. That could NOT have felt good.

But... What was that soft little crack you thought you heard? Magby landed on his belly, panting hard from the exertion. Swablu still couldn't move, as the small electric sparks travelled over his downy wings.

There was that cracking sound again. Was it possible... Could it be your egg? The cracks continued until you found the egg again, the little green sprout poking from the top of it glowing slightly once the light hit it. Finally, the rest of the shell burst away, leaving your arms full of yet another little infant. This one was significantly less fire-based than Magby, with it's green coloration and leafy figure, and it continued to glow for a moment before the glow settled and it's eyes opened. "Buuuh?" The little creature asked, looking up at you curiously.

Your Egg has hatched into a Level 1 Male Budew!
Your Level 1 Male Budew knows the Egg Move Synthesis!

OOC: Level 1? How am I suppose to train that? And a Budew? Ah man! Oh well, I guess I'll find a way to make it strong. Hey, can you train your Pokémon outside of battling? Like actual physical training? And wouldn't my Budew need 1 exp to make level 2?

IC: "Who's this little guy?" Zeke had said to himself. He had completely forgotten about the Pokémon Egg that he took from his old town back in Junsei. The mere fact that the egg had been traveling with him had completely slipped his mind. Unaware on what exactly the species of Pokémon it was, Zeke had to use the Pokedex function of his Poketch. So, in the midst of battle, he opened up his Poketch and scanned the young Pokémon. He did it quickly, for he didn't know when the Voltorb would recover from their head-on collision with one another.

Budew, the Bud Pokémon. Over the winter, it closes its bud and endures the cold. In spring, the bud opens and releases pollen. It lives alongside clear ponds scattering pollen that induces harsh sneezing and runny noses.

"Ah." Zeke said intrigued by his new friend. It just stared at Zeke bored, or, confused as to what to do. It didn't know if Zeke was it's mommy or daddy. "So you're a Grass-type, huh, Budew?" Zeke said, lifting the baby Pokémon high into the air with his arms. The Grass Bud giggled, revealing it's playful side. Zeke smiled in return, and then sat his Grass Pokémon down. They both took a look at the battlefield and realized that it was horrible. Well, it wasn't too bad, considering the Voltorb had been damaged by colliding into each other but, that wasn't enough to turn this battle around. I have to win, Zeke said underneath his breath, cheering himself on. Budew watched him as he appeared frustrated. I'll win to show this Budew what it means to be apart of Team Jamora.

Zeke knew he couldn't think negative, for his Pokémon fed off his emotions and used it as strength. As long as he stayed strong in the mind, and his Pokémon stood in sync with him, he could turn this battle completely around. "Swablu!" Zeke shouted, calling out to his bird Pokémon. "Can you move, buddy?"

"Blu...." the bird said, struggling to pick itself up. It couldn't do much because of the fatal paralysis it had suffered. "Magby!" the brave Fire Pokémon said, coming to it's aid. It stood in front of Swablu once again, acting as it's shield. Except, this time, it would be much different. This time, instead of using pure defense, he would return the attack. "Magby, get ready to use, Thunderpunch!" Zeke commanded, as his little Fire Pokémon sparked with electricity. It stuck it's fist out, waiting for the first Voltorb to come across his path. If Swablu, could break free from paralysis, even for a minute, then perhaps Zeke had a plan that could end this battle. Even so, Magby couldn't hold out for any longer. The little Fire Pokémon had it's limits, and couldn't expand it's energy supply anymore than what it could. It could only hope that some kind of miracle would take place within the next minute or two.

OOC: I want to ask, how is happiness determined for a Pokémon? I want to know how much further I have to go before I can evolve it into a Roselia. Oh wait, it's probably in the library somewhere. Also, if I were to roleplay Swablu flying, that would be a godmod, so there's not much I can do.

The past shapes up, but we shape the future.
OoC: 1) Egg Pokemon hatch at level one, and require one experience point to level up to level two and then two. And then three, four, five and, well, you know the system. Sorry, actual physical training doesn't grant experience, but could be used to perhaps tutor moves to your Pokemon or get them use to using certain attacks which in turn would make then stronger. 2) There is no Happiness stat. We're coming out with an evolution item that's not to expensive and allows a Pokemon to evolve as long as they are over level ten. As for the godmodding, sorta. Swablu is under a ref-controlled status condition which keeps it pretty much grounded ( in the metaphorical sense) but if the ref grants next post paralysis freedom then surely you can control the Swablu normally.

It should also be noted you need to use one of your Poke Balls to capture the newly hatched Pokemon. Anyone will do, and it's an autocatch so it just means you lose one of whatever Poke Ball you choose to use.

Zzzt. Both Voltorb took poison damage, which would hopefully make this battle speed up.

Swablu, whom was also suffering from one of those darn status effects, paralysis to be particular. The little cotton bird fluttered up a bit, and with much surprise rose into the air. He had overcome his paralysis, meaning he could easily return to battle with these Voltorb. After all, they don't have Electric element attacks (or ones that did damage, anyways), which would give Swablu some more breathing room. He was actually determined to help Magby and win for Zeke, whether the human realized it or not.

Magby, on the other hand, was starting to feel the ware from battle. His fist was clinched, sparking with electrical energy. Magby's initial plan was to defend his partner, Swablu, but it seems that the Pokemon didn't need much defending now, seeing as he could fly on him own. The little spitfire Pokemon's motive, however, was still there; He would defend the spot where Swablu was if the Voltorb charged, and hopefully could knock one, if not both, out with his fist of shock(+2) attack.

Both of the red and white sphere Pokemon ripped around in circles, creating some static electricity. Their strategy was a bit cloudy, but Magby seemed confident enough that he could stop them in their tracks no matter what their plan. His spiritual energy was literally flowing off his body. The hot headed Pokemon was teeming with the motivation to battle, which was awesome considering that's two thirds of what battling is. Staying motivated to win is very important, and seeing as this battle is close to the end the Pokemon needed that last little internal push to make it all the way.

In a split second, both Voltorb launched themselves with the inertia they had built up rotating right at Magby and Swablu. Their attack didn't seem like a Tackle, because they weren't exactly charging full force toward their targets, but rather tossing themselves into the air. What they had planned wasn't clear, but it was about to be. Both of Zeke's Pokemon looked up toward the spherical Pokemon, but when Magby did he was temporarily blinded by the reflection of the intense sunlight off of the Voltorb. No matter. One of the Pokemon crashed into Swablu, doing around six damage, which wasn't too bad. The cloud-bird-thing fell out of the sky a bit from the weight of Voltorb, but was able to dump the sphere onto the ground. It collided full force, on a rock, which hurt it some.

The Voltorb that was targeting Magby, however, didn't get off so easily. Magby may have been unable to see, but he still swung that electrically charged fist at the opponent as hard as he could. With the luck that little bugger had, he was able to punch the Voltorb clear out of the sky, causing it to fly dead into the ground, and explode. Who in the world would have guessed? Both Voltorb were down and out, and both of Zeke's partners had a handsome amount of experience coming their way. Not to mention the trainer could finally get on his way with being a trainer.

Plus twelve experience points to both Pokemon. Updated in profile already.

"That's right!" Zeke said, cheering. He was very proud of his Pokemon and what they had accomplished. This battle was a true success for the all of them. "Good work, dudes." he said to his Pokemon, calling them over. Magby walked over to Zeke, jumping into the air proudly. It was highly proud of itself, mainly because it had stood strong in the battle the whole time. Magby was a true warrior, a real rare trait in today's Pokemon. "Magby! Mag-Magby!" the little Fire Pokemon said, hopping over to Zeke and hugging his leg. He was VERY passionate about Zeke, and perhaps the closest of all of his Pokemon, seeing how he was caught first.

"Swablu!" Zeke's bird Pokemon shouted, flying over to him. It flew over to him, landing softly on his shoulder. It then cuddled up to Zeke's head, the youngster patting his bird in return. However, it appears that we were leaving someone out. On Zeke's other leg, there was a small Pokemon, a Grass-type to be exact. It was rather small and frail, and a bit shy, hiding behind Zeke's other leg. "Bud..." Zeke's Budew said, fearing his other two Pokemon. It was quite frightening, seeing how it was recently hatched and the first thing it see's is a deadly battle going on. Zeke noticed this, seeing how Budew was afraid of Magby and Swablu and not him.

"I'm sorry little guy." Zeke said, comforting Budew. He patted the Grass Pokemon on the top of it's head. Magby and Swablu both try to comfort it as well by introducing themselves, however, it's unsuccessful, as Budew begins to cry in fear. "Hey, hey. It's okay. They're your friends." Zeke grabbing the little fellow and holding him in his arms. "Listen, don't cry. I'm sorry you had to witness something like that. Hey, maybe I should introduce myself to you. I'm Zeke, and from now on, me and you will be working together as partners."

"Budew..." the little grass Pokemon said, as Zeke put him on the ground, so Magby and Swablu can kindly introduce themselves. At first, Budew was a bit resilient but after a while, he became very fond of both Magby and Swablu. After a small introduction of one another, they began prancing around in front of Zeke, playing with one another. Their playing was rather tough however, the little Grass Pokemon was about to hold up with the "big boys". Zeke let his Pokemon play with each other; himself, sitting down under a tree and relieving his body of the intense sun rays. As the Pokemon played, Zeke took a nap from a long day of traveling. Slowly, he closed his eyes, falling into a slumber.

Wah? What happened? Zeke said to himself, opening his eyes. He had lifted his head up, after realizing how he had dozed off. He took a look at the Poketch on his wrist, clicking over to the Watch function. "It's been one hour." he said to himself, yawning. He had fell asleep for one complete hour. Though, as he realized this as well, he frantically searched around to see where he Pokemon had went. Fortunate enough for him, they hadn't been stolen from him, and instead, they were sleeping all around him. He had figured that it would be rude to awaken them from their slumber. Instead, he would take out a Pokeball, enlarging it by clicking the button. He then pointed of them towards Magby and Swablu, a red beam quietly returning them to their Pokeballs.

"Budew...." a Grass Pokemon said, talking in it's sleep. Though, it would sleep for much longer, as Zeke took out a Pokeball, showing it to Budew. Budew slowly cracked it's eyes open, until eventually yawning into awakening, it's eyes wide open. "Bud?" the little Grass Pokemon said, taking a strange look at Zeke's and the ball he had in his hand. "This is a Pokeball." Zeke said, introducing what the "toy" was to the baby Pokemon. "Some call it a jail cell while other would call it a home for Pokemon. It's up to you if you want to go in or not though, if you do, it'll be better than staying outside. This Pokeball will make a safe haven for you and it'll help you grow strong and independent. Hey, you don't even have to go with me if you want. I'm not going to force you or anything, so think twice about what you're going to do."

Budew took a look at Zeke, trying to understand what he was saying. Zeke put his Pokeball on the ground, seeing if Budew wanted to come along with him or not. He crouched down, waiting to see if he would or not. After a short pause, the Budew decided, Why Not? It hopped over to the Pokeball, pecking the button with it's foot and a red flash capturing the Pokemon and containing it inside. The ball didn't wobble, at all, and Budew was immediately captured and added to Zeke's team. Zeke was happy, grabbing the ball and smiling at the same time. He put his Pokeball on his belt, and headed for the Pokemon Center, calling it a day for today's journeying.

OOC: Subtract 1 Pokeball from my Items list.

Zeke entered the Pokemon Center, er, Pokemart? It had took him a while to find it, because of the design of the place. He couldn't tell if it was a hotel or a park of some sort because of all of the tree's around it. Either way, the Pokemon Center felt very comfortable, and homey. Upon walking into the Pokemon Center of the place, Zeke took notice in the Pokemart on the other half of the building. It was a Pokemart. Zeke took out his wallet, noticing that he didn't have much cash on him. 300 Dollars?! Zeke said, shouting inside of his head. He had been very nervous of the fact that he had been running low on money. Then again, he wasn't making much of it either. Perhaps if he had a job in particular.

Anyhow, Zeke walked over to Nurse Joy at the front desk and offered his Pokemon. If she would accept his three Pokeballs with no questions of any sort, that would be very nice for him. The boy was in a rush to buy some items from the shop next door, and then find a job afterward. Wait a minute.. Zeke said, talking to himself once again. He had recalled something from earlier today. He remember seeing a poster for a farm. Maybe I could work there? It's in the Forest of Legend if I remember correctly. Zeke murmured, pulling the few strings of facial hair he had on his chin.

"That's what I'll do." Zeke said. "Can you keep my Pokemon over night here? I'll be checking into a bed if you don't mind." the boy asked nurse Joy, turning and walking over to the shop next door. It was quite the nifty place however, immediately, Zeke knew what he wanted. He wanted to buy his items, get some sleep and head for the Forest of Legend in the morning. Hopefully, he could pick up on a job there, seeing how Zeke use to work in an iron works. What would be the difference? At least there, he could put the few skills he learned back home to good use. Maybe he could develop it into something else? "So, what do you have to buy here?" he asked the clerk, just before he made his final decision on what to buy.

"Well, that all depends on what your looking for, hun." The store clerk said. She was a petite lady, well into her 20. Slightly long brown hair ran from her head down, just barely reaching her shoulders. She has some amazing blue eyes, the kind you don't see often. Quite the gorgeous woman, especially for a store clerk. You never know what you run into do you? Anyways, she looked at you while she waited to here what you wanted.

People were shopping for things like any other pokemart. It seemed to rather busy for this time, trainers, coordinators, breeders, kids, elderly, almost every kind of person was in this particular store at this time. Not something you see everyday, eh? It wasn't amazingly big though, and she could watch over the whole store from just the Counter. Three kids were rough housing in the back of the store, obviously fighting over something.

She looked over your shoulder at the kids who were rough housing in the back of the store. They were probably no older then the ages of 8 or 9, seeing as how they were rather small. "Hey, no fighting in here!" She yelled rather loud. The kids looked over at her, and then ran out. Well if the yelling didn't scare them off, it could've been the fact that she looked rather foul and angered at their display. She took a small breath as she looked back down at you. "So what'll be honey?" She said softly as she put a smile on her face. She must've been having a good day. She awaited to hear what you were gonna ask her for.

(OOC: Well I didn't really much more to work with, you didn't really say in your posts what you wanted lol)

Wow, this stuff is rather pricey Zeke said to himself as he looked up and down the list of items he were to purchase. The boy had only $300, and to most people that's a lot but, compared to the price of these Items, one would differ. Well, at least he was getting the best prices in town. Let's just hope he's getting the best quality items in town. Zeke looked at the girl, realizing that he had made an awkward face as he looked into his wallet, counting the money he had. The clerk in front of him was quite beautiful but, much older than him. A girl her age wouldn't even think twice about going on a date with a teenager.

"Um, excuse me ma'am." Zeke said, his voice breaking down, apparently from him talking to a beautiful woman. Though, he had to swallow his fear eventually and he did almost immediately. "I would like 1 Pokeball and 3 Potions if you don't mind." Zeke said, taking out some cash. He had already totaled the amount of cash he needed for the items' purchase. He needed $210, and luckily he had it, with $90 to spare on other things. However, for now, he would just stick to his game plan. Buy Items, Put Pokemon into Pokemon Center and get some rest. Of course, if the Bartering system for a thousand years ago is the same as today, Zeke would give the clerk her money, and the clerk would give Zeke the items he wanted. Then, he would turn around and walk over to the Pokemon Center.

OOC: You forgot to do the part with Nurse Joy. I'm taking a guess that she said "yeah" since you didn't reply. Honestly, I gave you a lot to work with. You just didn't see it or pay attention to it maybe. If you did skip it, or that part does work, here's the rest of my post as if I already put my Pokemon in the Center.

IC: Hopefully, without any interruptions, he could make it safely upstairs. With his Pokemon taken care of by the beautiful Nurse Joy, he would walk upstairs, find his room and call it quits for today. Zeke ate something for dinner of course, and then take a shower, brush his teeth and head for bed. Once again, hopefully without any interruptions, he could sleep peacefully through the night. In the morning, he'd wake up with a yawn, and then asking the question: "What's on the agenda for today?"

Though, he already knew what was on the agenda. The boy took a shower rather quickly, and got himself ready in a jiffy. Going down stairs, he didn't hesitate to pick up his three Pokemon from Nurse Joy. Afterward, he shot straight out of the door and back onto the city streets. He was hustling, he was heading straight for the Forest of Legend. From what he heard, that was the perfect place to train Magby, Swablu and Budew but, most importantly, if he could get a job on that farm, then that would also benefit him greatly. Afterall, he needed the job and money more than anything, right?

Onward! We got a world to take over!
OOC:Normally you're not able to control others, but it's fine what you did for two reasons.
1. Nurse Joy, I belive is an exception to the controlling rule as long as all you make her do is heal your team.
2. You posted that you assumed the clerk and Joy did all this, so therefore you merly posted your prediction as to the outcome of you actions... wait... I'm confusing myself. Long story short-- you're good.

Leaving the warm and friendly pokemon center in your wake, you set off to the beautiful Forest of legends, full of pokemon your team is tough against... type wise any ways. The sky was a pleasant blue with a ting of grey in it. But over to the north you could see heavy storm clouds, and the wind was blowing south. There's is a for sure 100% chance thunder storms tonight... so before dark I recommend finding a shelter. (Oh, Zeke. Mention this storm in your post in case the next mod doesn't read mine) The asfalt roads were blank and plain under the calm sky... and few people were out today seeing as how it look like rain was coming and because you weren't in the most populated part of town.

As you progress with your adventure, your three pokemon hop from their pokeballs, obviously bored by the quiet emptiness of the city. Swablu flutters around your head while Magby and budew just do... pokemon stuff. It was about a half hour later when a young girl, maybe 5 or 6 years old walks up to you. "Excuse me mister man. Can you help me?" the girl began looking very sad. "Me and mommy were going to move to Millenis cause she said it was big and nice to be in. But I got lost in the crowd at the train stapin... no... sta... staton or something like that. An then the train lef with my mommy in it and I don't know what to do and..." The girl burst into tears. When she calmed down she said"the only pokemon I have to protect me is this..." She releases a baby hippopotas from a pokeball.

OOC 2: Yes, the spelling errors when the girl is talking are purposely put there so don't ask about them.

Crud! Now you've got two options: Get a train ticket and ride the girl to Millenia and find her mom... or take her with you to the forest and hope her mother comes back and finds you. You can't have her ride a train to a whole different city alone... and you can't trust her some other random person. All she has to fight with is an witty bitty hippo. Unless you take her to the forest and train the hippopotas so she can fight... but still. She's only 5. What are you going to do in this mess?
