Officer Jenny pulled a chair up to the side of your bed, and then produced a clipboard from god knows where. As she sat down it became very apparent that you were going to be here for while a while, for Jenny put a lot of effort into getting herself seated comfortably before she began questioning you. After what seemed like an eternity, she began:

"Ok, Azedenkae, are you ready?" Wait, was that the first question? Was it a rick question? Should you answer it? These are the kind of questions that would be chasing each other around the inside of most people's heads at a time like this. Now, obviously I don't quite understand how the inside of your head works, and it would be foolish of me to assume that your head is the same as everybody elses, but assuming that there are the thoughts running around in your head, then things probably aren't going hugely well, because the only thing that had been asked was "Are you ready?" Luckily, Officer Jenny decided to simply move straight on to the next (or was it the first?) question without awaiting your reply... I mean, how not ready could you be? It's not like you were going anywhere.

"Now, Azedenkae, I'd like for you to describe for me exactly what happened yesterday. Start with the first thing that you remember before this whole untidy incident occurred, and try to be very thorough. The more you tell us, the easier it will be for us to determine whether you're going to be in any trouble."

After that, Officer Jenny just sat there patiently. Sure, it was a big and open ended question, but she was probably going to get down to the specifics a little later. Besides, so long as you were simply recounting events, you;ll probably remember more of the specific details yourself as you go along. Anyway... don't just sit here staring at her and contemplating the situation, you don't want to get Officer Jenny angry, as that probably wouldn't help your case much. I suggest that you start telling the lady what you know.

[[ OOC: Sorry that this is so vague, but honestly, I think this is probably how an interrogation would start out. When we get to more specific questions, whoever refs you will probably stick a whole heap in together, but for now, this one should keep you going for a bit. ]]

OOC: No probs, best this way anyways.
BIC:
The last part of the question actually relaxed Azedenkae a bit. So, he'd only get in trouble... that way won't be spoken of if he actually killed. Hopefully anyways. You never know how each police officer differs from each other. Either way, he best recount his story.

"Well..." Azedenkae began, recounting from before he ran into the guy. "I got hold of this guy in Kijutsu, who wanted to trade a TM with me. So I made way to Kijutsu, running as fast as possible to try to get there as early as I could. Whilst doing so, a man appeared out of nowhere and challenged me to a duel, because I was ignoring people or something. So, since I was tired, I knew I couldn't get away. Instead, I responded to him whilst secretly taking out my Tentacool, and at the earliest possible chance, she poisoned him, as she did with an earlier thief I also had to fight. So the Magnemite that belonged to the man electrocuted me, I fell down and a girl rushed over with I think a Growlithe or Arcanine. Unsure as what would happen, I withdrew Ran, my Tentacool, into her Pokeball, clutched it tight and fainted. The next thing I knew was that I was here..." Azedenkae finished off, now waiting for Jenny's judgement.

Meanwhiles, Azedenkae still wondered where Ran was, and if she was okay. He hoped she was, because if not... well, he wasn't sure what he would do at all. But, well, there was nothing that'd guarantee she'd be worse off than him... after all, Pokemons get shocked a lot more than humans, but recover quicker. And, more than that, she was in her Pokeball... So of course, she'd have a lot more protection than him... must be. Ran was, and is, very important to him. Being his first Pokemon and all, they had a special connection, as with any other Senkran and their destined Pokemon. Plus, he still had a lot to do with Ran, making it the strongest Pokemon ever and things like that and all.

I know you're out there somewhere...
Officer Jenny listened to what you had to say, taking out a note pad and taking down a few notes. She stopped midway when you said that you had Tentacool poison the guy that you were battling with. You poisoned somebody because they basically got in your way when you were trying to get somewhere where you could make a trade. Now that I come right out and say it, that does sound a bit ridiculous and not very good, does it? Well she blinked a few times while looking at you, probably trying to figure out what to say. Eventually she opened her mouth and started talking, which wasn't very good if you were hoping for some good news.

"So let me get this straight. A stranger stopped you because you were ignoring people, which honestly sounds to me like he's an attention seeker. But that's hardly the point. You should have just brushed him off, or since he decided to battle you, you should have battled him... appropriately. However you decided that the best idea was to have your Tentacool poison the guy, which you just admitted you did to not just him, but to another person as well. Whether or not we can actually prove that this other guy was a thief is improbable, but you admitted poisoning another person with your Pokemon. Do you realize that you have just admitted to committing a very large crime? Using Pokemon to hurt another person is absolutely forbidden for a trainer to do."

Clearly upset, Jenny began walking back and forth with a hand on her chin, thinking hard. Finally she just lifted her hands up in the air and gave a loud sigh before walking out of the room. You heard her cursing out loud and walking away, probably on the phone or something. Looks to me like this case is pretty much open and shut now, and that's definitely not a good thing. While you might think that she overlooked the fact that you were electrocuted, it seems that she was able to piece together that the Thundershock was meant for Tentacool, but you got it instead. Besides, that was what the Pokemon did on its own, which is obvious since you had poisoned that guy by the time the Thundershocks had been used. Well this wasn't very good, now was it?

Leaving you alone in your little hospital room, you had nothing to do but stare at the ceiling and twiddle your thumbs, although I don't know if you're one who would actually do that. Anyways, after about thirty minutes, Officer Jenny came back in with another officer, who was male and very beefy. They both looked down at you, and then behind them walked in the guy who you had battled and got yourself in this mess with. Once he saw you, he immediately pointed at you, eyes wide and started going at it.

"That's him alright! He's the one who poisoned me! I couldn't do anything after that. I know I ended up fainting, so you'd have to ask someone else who was there to verify his story or whatever. But yeah, he poisoned me alright. Just because I stopped him for ignoring everyone and acting like a stuck up ponce gives him the right to use Toxic on me? Somehow I don't think that's written in the laws anywhere."

Officer Jenny nodded and took him out of the room, leaving you alone with the other cop who pulled up a chair and sat down next to you. "Alright kid, listen. You're in a lot of trouble right now. Poisoning two people with your Pokemon is enough to get your Pokemon and trainer status taken away from you. If I were you, I'd find yourself a good lawyer and start working on a way to get you out of this. Because frankly, it's not looking to pretty for you." Shaking his head, he got up and also left the room to deal with the guy you had poisoned. What do you do now?

Azedenkae

For once, in the many years of his life, he had suddenly started shaking again. Fear was not something that gets to him easily, and never had ever since that day... that fateful day, upon that island where he and his Pokemon were almost killed. He had thought both invincible back then... had changed his thoughts right after the event, but it seemed like the idea of invincibility had once again managed to hold onto him. Thinking back, he did not know when it started, whether it was with his last Pokemon, or from ever since he took control of Ran again a few days back, and seemingly had no problems at all fighting alongside her. After all, he did win a lot... did he get that fact into his head? Was he so overconfident about himself, that he made a huge mistake with out even knowing it?

Back then, it had seemed so right... he was dishing out punishment, and he knew that if he did not fight the way he did, things could have gotten really bad. The thugs had beaten up the old man right before making away with his stuff... who'd know what could have had happened if other people were not around? Not would they fight with all their might... they'd might have used real weapons as well, those that can hurt, and would they be merciful? Of course not! They had bashed that old man in, even when Azedenkae was just opposite the street!

Then the man... Azedenkae did not look at him as though he was a criminal or something. No... he was simply surprised, extremely so when the man appeared so calm and innocent. He hated people like that, pretending and pretending, lieing to everyone, especially to the authorities. Though, the man... he said he was an undercover officer... wouldn't Azedenkae's name be on some list there? Stating what he had done for the good of others?

He couldn't believe it... well, he could, it was happening... but he was getting in trouble for being stopped by a man, threatening him like that... yet that man was getting away free? Yes, he did poison a human... but what else was he to do?

Well, guess he can't do anything except lie here and wait for the officer to turn back, or, miraculously, for the old man he had saved to come bursting in or something. It was a long shot... and the old man may not actually hold much of a position at all, but besides the guy, there was no way he'd be getting off with out at least a lawyer.

Sitting back against the bed, Azedenkae laid his wall upon the wall and sighed, before closing his eyes and meditating, waiting for whatever to happen to happen.

[[ OOC: Ok, I really had nothing planned, and I'm in a crappy mood, so If this isn't wonderful, I'm sorry. ]]

Just when you thought that you had some time to yourself to contemplate things, the door swung open again and crashed against the wall behind it... I guess they need a new door stopper. That's not really the point though. The important thing was who came through the door. I'd love to tell you that it was your undercover friend, I really would, but I don't want to lie to you, so I won't tell you that at all. Instead, I'm going to tell you that it was Officer Jenny, accompanied by a woman that you'd never met before. The woman was clearly a nurse, which comes as no surprise, since we've already established that you were in some form of medical facility, but unlike the other nurses you'd seen so far, this nurse actually paid you some attention, coming over to your bed to check your chart, then checking some monitors and such around the room before turning to Officer Jenny and nodding.

"Alright Azedenkae, time to get up out of bed." Jenny said, as the nurse left the room. "Nurse Taylor says that you're fine to be moved, so that's what you're going to do. Now, I've just spoken with my superiors about your situation, and unfortunately due to the nature of your crimes we're going to have to take you down to the station and hold you there at least over night until we can get this mess sorted out."

Well, this was going to be fun, huh? You were now officially under arrest for Pokémon Aided Assault and you were about to spend a night behind bars. Could this day get any worse? Probably not, but let's watch and see, just in case.

Without waiting for you to say anything, Officer Jenny continued her spool: "Azedenkae, this could take quite some time to get cleared up but you've been wonderful and cooperative thus far and if you can continue to cooperate with us like this you WILL be much better off. Obviously I can't be sure about how severe your punishment is going to be just at the moment, but we'll work out all of the details as soon as we can. Right now, we need to get moving."

I guess you don't have a lot of choice, but here are your options anyway: You can either get out of bed and go down to the station with Officer Jenny, or you can get up and try to jump out of the half open window that's just next to the bed and make a run for it. I can't tell you which floor of the hospital you're on... It might be the ground floor or it might be the first floor... or it might be the fifth, who knows? Furthermore, I can't tell you where your Pokémon is, so jumping will probably make life a little difficult for you, as you'll probably have a hard time finding Ran again, but hey, it's your life, right?

Azedenkae

Azedenkae sighed, knowing fully well that it was best to follow the Officer. The TM trade is probably canceled by now, him not knowing just how long it has been since he's been in the Hospital. Now, to resolve this peacefully... but how? It was obvious that they trusted one of their own more than him. That deceiver... acting all strong and mighty and he stopped him, but now acting puny and innocent. Such a large man, so hurt over being poisoned? Well, if it was an indication of just how strong Toxic is - then it isn't that strong, since he seems to be fine.

Whatever. He was not here to judge the people.

Well, he was, partially, but it's more to explore this place, than anything. He really, truly did just want to explore the place - and of course, level up Ran and make her extremely powerful. Anywho, if this was solved, at least. He had never been behind bars before, but he hoped that it would all be alright.

So, he got out of bed, nodded at Officer Jenny, and waited to be lead away, hoping for the best.

Officer Jenny nodded at you as you stood up and gave every indication of cooperating. She slapped handcuffs on your wrists before leading you through the compound, down two flights of stairs and out the door where a patrol car was waiting. There the big burly man you saw earlier was waiting with the rear door facing you wide open. Officer Jenny led you to the man who guided you into the back seat before slamming the door and riding shotgun. Officer Jenny sat behind the wheel before gunning the engine and pulling out of the lot.

The ride didn't take too long as you got to see a residential area before coming to the station. Once you arrived there, Officer Jenny and her friend led you through to a cell where they removed your handcuffs before guiding you in and slamming the barred door. The scents of the place apparently took a beeline to your nose. I can't tell you how jail cells smell because I never been in one, but I'd assume it wouldn't be pleasant.

So you're alone except for a guard who is giving you the stink eye every time he glanced your way, which he usually avoided unless he felt he needed to make sure you were still in your cell. There is a toilet in one corner and a cot on the other side of the cell and not much sides. Due to the size of the cell, the cot was literally a foot away from the toilet so it couldn't be too sanitary. There really isn't all that much to do in these dismal surroundings.

Azedenkae

Azedenkae sat in the cell, waiting for the police to arrive and question him further or something, or perhaps just force him to stay there overnight, before letting him go. Either way, there really was, absolutely nothing to do, at all. Azedenkae sighed, and wondered how it all got to this. He really just wanted to not be rude and everything, but with people like that random guy around - it was hard to. And that'd mean that he probably could get into trouble with the police a lot...

Talking about the police... Durvice! That old man!

"Durvice!" Azedenkae suddenly shouted, realizing something. So, he helped a person out today, and did the opposite on the same day. Still, he had good intentions. If he could talk to that old guy again, perhaps they could work something out - a compromise, or something. Perhaps so... maybe he could even volunteer for community service or whatever, after all, the goal here was to be helpful or whatever, not to be a criminal. Oh and, of course, to raise Ran into something super strong, but there are many paths to that.

Oh well, contact him first.

"Hey... there." Azedenkae spoke to the nearest guard outside. "I need to talk to a police officer called Durvice please. He should know me... tell him my name's Azedenkae."

The guard that had shown you complete and utter disapproval gave you a glare. He didn't look like he was going to help you out as he let out a chuckle at you.

"What makes you think I'm going to help out a criminal like you. You used a pokemon to attack a person. That makes you the one thing I hate," the man said, "so I think I'm going to sit here and watch you rot in a cell. I really hope the judge throws the book at you."

So it's clear where you stood in the guard's opinion. A little above a serial killer. Not much above, just a little bit. Kind of makes you wonder why, does it?

Before you can pursue your train of thought, a female police office that wasn't Officer Jenny walked into the holding area with a woman who looked to be in her early twenties.

The civilian stood almost six feet tall, her smooth, toned skin showing a slight tan. She had short green hair that was held to one side in a businesslike style by hairpins. She wore a skirt that went to her kneecaps that was businesslike, but form fitting. It was clear that most of this woman's height was leg. Of course, it looked like she was a small B-cup or a large A-cup.

"This is him," the nondescript female officer said to the civilian woman.

"Lutteecran Azeduori Azedenkae?" the woman asked, looking at you with her light blue-ish gray eyes through her thin frames.

Azedenkae

Azedenkae was about to retort at the man, but then his attention was drawn towards two women, making their way towards him. The first woman, the one who was leading, was obviously a police officer. The other woman, on the other hand, he wasn't sure what she was, though he hoped that she was his way out. Though, that would be reduced to a few options - either he really will be serving community service, or he'll be placed in some reform facility, or maybe he'll get deported, or some other sucky option.

He really wish that it was the first option - seems like the best, out of them all. Well, better answer her first.

"Yes... I am." Azedenkae spoke to the woman, giving a nod and a smile as he looked back at her. He didn't say anymore, because he knew it was best to let her tell him what this was all about, rather than the opposite. After all, being offered things is better than having to ask for them. And since she knew of Azedenkae's full name, that was probably the case. He wondered just how much they knew about him - besides his full name, though he wouldn't be surprised if they knew everything, already. After all, he did have to show his passport upon arrival...

Well, whatever the case, he'll just try to do his best. After all, he still want to complete what he came here for, and everything will be alright. He hoped.

Bringing sexy back? Apparently?
The lady peered down at you, an expressionless visage for you to look at as she gathered her thoughts. Just who was this person anyway? In any case, she pulled up a chair and sat outside your cell, placing one leg delicately over the other and folding her hands in her lap. He pulled a small plastic cup full of water from somewhere, possibly a small table outside your cell that you could neither see nor reach; either way, she was thirsty and had a drink. There was something refined about this woman, be it her glasses or clothes, there was something about her.

“Do you mind if I drop the formalities and call you Azedenkae? Good.” Not bothering to wait for your answer, she pulled out a clipboard from, possibly the same location as the cup of water, and began looking at its contents, taking out a pen and fixing her hair before continuing. “Azedenkae, I represent the man you assaulted, it just so happens that I’m his sister, and his attorney. However, I wish to resolve this matter as fast as possible for in light of your actions, my brother has been…difficult of late.” She coughed, noting something down and then looking at you directly. She clicked her tongue, wondering what to say or rather, how to accurately phrase her next part.

The guard that seemed very against you before was eyeing this lady cautiously, before getting told off by the female officer that escorted her in. ”We have two options for you. You can either be sentenced for assault and be stripped of your Pokemon for the duration of your sentence, or, you can work off what you did via community service.” Didn’t seem like you had much of a choice, but there was a way out of prison after all! Granted, further inquiry as to what kind of community service was going to be undertaken may be needed, but the other option was losing your Tentacool for who knows how long.

Your call, bud. How’re you gonna play this out?

Azedenkae

Azedenkae really did not have time to reply - not at all. Though, he wasn't going to protest, either way. After all, his name is Azedenkae. Why can't other people call him by his name? Though - he did wonder. Normally, according to how the names here are laid out, people who just look at his name would definitely call him 'Lutteecran', not 'Azedenkae'... since as a Senkran, his name is listed in the opposite order. Then again, if she knew this much about him, she probably know in what order his name flows as well. Oh well.

Now, the two possibilities...

Sigh, obvious answer is obvious. Azedenkae nodded at the woman, accompanied it with a smile. So, the two choices - he would either have to serve term, before being reunited, or he can be reunited now - both have its advantages and disadvantages. The thing is, he had no idea how long his sentence would be, and it may as well be very, very long. Community service, however... "Can I have a bit more information, please? For example - if it's the first choice, how long will I have to serve? And if it's the second choice... what exactly entails the work? And also, how many hours in total will I have to do? I'm sorry, but I want to know a bit more about what I may have to face, before choosing - I hope you understand." Azedenkae replied, still with the smile. It was potentially risky, but really - this was his immediate future being discussed, he needed to know as much as possible, before deciding.

The woman looked at you over the top of her spectacles, watching you as you spoke and refering to her notebook as you asked questions. As you finished up, the majority of your questions had answers. It was starting to dawn on you what the enigmatic thing about her was. It was the small things on her ears, fingers and clothes that hinted she was well off. There was gold, gems, and other things that shone in this otherwise dark and uninviting holding cell. This could be for a variety of reasons, be it winning cases and being paid royalties, or something else.

She listened to your questions and returned the smile in kind. “If you choose to pay off your debt, I have a job that needs doing, and considering that I’m the person you attacked, sister, I’ll consider us all square. As for how long it would take would depend on when you get the job done. It may, or may not be something you can just hurry and do.” He smile faded, and tone became suddenly more serious as she peered at you through the glasses. “As for sentencing, well…for assault can be highly variable depending on the circumstances and the evidence available.” Her cold tone was possibly used to put you in place, and something about it hinted that they had enough to put you away for a very, very long time.

“If you’re interested in the job, then we can sign the paperwork and you can start straight away with a police escort to ensure you do the job. Otherwise, at the current point in time I can estimate you could easily spend a few years in that cell right there for what you did.” Sounds…well, rather one sided. Your call though, surely an inmate could turn up sooner or later. Heck, if you wanted to, you could risk yourself in the eyes of the court. I'm sure that while you were in jail, someone would take care of your Tentacool...hopefully...

Azedenkae

Azedenkae's smile faded a bit as he turned and looked away, at a corner or somewhere that no one was. He was seriously pondering the possibilities now. It was obvious that he was on the losing side here, whatever the choice was. The obvious fact here was that despite explaining a bit more about what the so-called 'community service' would entail, she was deliberately leaving out certain facts. Certain, important facts. By choosing community service, he would be playing straight into her hands, that was for sure.

Although, what interested him was the 'police escort' part - so he was supposed to 'team' up with an officer, more or less. That would mean that, no matter how... 'special', the woman was to the police force, whatever he was doing, he probably won't be skirting the law - too much. Well, he hoped, anyways.

Azedenkae sighed in his mind. Well, whatever. He was fine with it.

He turned back towards the woman and smiled. "Sounds cool. Community service, is what I mean. I'll do whatever it is required - with two conditions - after this, we're even. Well, me and your bro, anyways. Secondly, I get to bring along my Tentacool. There's already an escort with me, so there's no worry of me disappearing away. Besides, y'all probably are aware of what I may do now - it won't be possible for me to attack y'all either, I hope... but yes. Bring on the paper work, coz I agree." Azedenkae told the woman. Now, to see what she was going to say. He knew that she was smart, and she probably will work out - or probably have worked out that letting him bring along Tentacool won't matter so much, and since she actually want whatever the 'job' entails to be done, no doubt she'd find a little motivation for him all the better. Plus, if it involved battles, Azedenkae could do much better with a Pokémon he's familiar with, than one he's not, so again - better chances of the 'job' being done. And being even - well, that was what she suggested, so why not? Indeed, the woman should probably have worked out by now that it'd benefit her more than it would him. Yes. Hopefully. He haven't fully figured out Tohean mindsets, yet.

The woman smirked as you agreed, looking at you through her glasses and stating sweetly, “Excellent.”. The guard from before reluctantly came over, and opened the door for you while the lady stood to the side. Perhaps it was obvious that your reunion with your Tentacool was granted upon your acceptance to this Community Service, but I’m telling you now that’s what this lady meant. There was something amiss about this, but hey, you got out of serving a prison sentence, so you shouldn’t complain. Both guards, along with the lady, escorted you to a small conference room with a fairly sterile and plain with a table and two chairs on one side of it while there was one on the other.

The lady sat down on the side with only one chair, and motioned you to sit down opposite her while the male guard sat down in the other chair. “So, Azedenkae…The job lined up for you at the moment is a…retrieval mission of sorts. We have located a cave nearby, and there is rumour that the cave is home to a rare stone that I would like you to aquire.” She placed a Pokeball, your Pokeball on the table for you to take. It seemed like the officer next to you was going to be your escort, ah well, can’t win them all. But hey, just think, if there are indeed rare stones down in that cave, perhaps you could get one for yourself, if only to sell for a pretty sum.

Before you could say anything more, you had your Tentacool back and were standing outside the cave with the lady and your escort. It was a quick ride via the patrol car, but even then, your task was clear now, and it only left you to descend down into the darkness. As the lady wandered away, the cop grunted and waited for you to enter first to ensure you didn’t escape. The first floor of the cave seemed to have enough light that you could see, but deeper down a light source may be needed. A screech was heard and before you could react, a Zubat came down to greet you, flapping its wings hurriedly.
