Yuki weighed his options with the current battle. Artemis wasn't capable of doing the damage needed so she needed to be switched to defense. He weighed his options of calling other Pokemon out. Yuki looked at both his Pokemon and then at the opponents. Only damage done was to one of the Shellos was barely anything. The light screen should hold up on its own for a while longer. "Cestar use Nasty Plot. Once you are done attack one of the two that wasn't attacked. Hit them with the strongest Spark you can and then attack the other with Spark as well. We'll try to knock them down as fast as possible. Artemis you stay behind the shield. Just focus on your special defense and then try to lull the Shellos to sleep with Sing." Yuki looked at his Pokeballs. Miltank would be good to use and so would Santdraclaws, but right now Yuki wanted to let Artemis get some experience with Cestar alone. He'd have to see how well things played out before making a new strategy. He hoped the two Sparks would do more than enough. The little water slugs will take some heavy damage if they connect. |

:: Duijok SwampMoo-moo milk 4/20 (Stays at a stand still during battles.) Wait, wait, wait.. Was I seeing this right? A bunch of Shellos, almost besting one of the most prolific trainers in the whole region? No no, surely not! *Adjusts glasses.* Oh wait, yeah I'm seeing it right.. Cestar used nasty plot. As the dragon pokemon began to conjur up dark thoughts and mischevious plans, it's special attack instantly rose, somehow, however that works I did not know. Still, it's special attack stat was now raised and would proove it's moves to be alot more powerful that usual. The spark then came, and wow what a spark it was! The level difference to Shellos number two wasn't so significant, but with the stat boost, the weakness Shellos had and ofcourse, level multipliers. The Shellos that was attacked was so hurt it actually shrieked out in pain that even hurt your own ears. The third couldn't react quick enough to do any damage before Cestar got in with the second spark directed at it. As it looked down at its rather hurt sister, Cestar got in the spark. Again, the Shellos screached in pain as the electricity ran through its body, dealing an incredible ammount of damage. It looks like the tables had certainly turned. Even the first Shellos who was damaged early couldn't do enough, even it's water pulse that came in and hit Cestar did very little compared to what it would of done if that light screen wasn't up. With that, it let Artemis in with the oppurtunity to lul the ugly, useless pokemon to sleep. Whilst in the background, the bird had focused on it's special defence and was now singing. That Shellos fell asleep, unfortunately the other two had a serious ringing in their heads down to the electric attacks they had previously recieved. Therefore, unfortunately the two were not victims of your birds lullaby. Still, could this round of gone any better for you? One Shellos was sleeping and the other two was so distracted by the sheer pain and ringing through their bodies they hadn't even tried to retaliate.
(Lost my mind halfway through this ref. x.x Don't think I forgot anything though! If I have, feel free to PM me.) Edited by Ashy, Jan 26 2011, 03:53 PM.

Yuki whistled when Cestar attacked. The Shellos barely knew what hit them. They couldn't even fight back after the quick assault from Cestar. Yuki wondered why they'd bother to attack him when they couldn't even take simple attacks without crippling in pain. He shrugged it off as type advantage Cestar had and left it at that. He wanted to get past this point and make his way to Millenia. He was starting to fell sorry for them, but again, they were impeding him and his journey. "Cestar finish those two off. Another Spark each should do it. Artemis if Cestar can't finish them, try to sing them to sleep again. If they fall asleep or faint before you have a chance to sing use Dragon Rush on the other Sleeping Shellos. If you don't have to use Sing on the other two, then use a second Dragon Rush." Both nodded and readied for the round. Meanwhile on the farm: John hammered away at the broken fence while looking back ever so often to keep an eye on the Pokemon he was left in charge of. The Trapinch had stopped digging a while back and was now sleeping next to him while he mended the fence. Three other Pokemon took up the Trapinch's job and were toiling away at the ground. The Cthooloo, Helagua, and Stunky were hard at work deep within the hole. Between the three of them and the little the Trapinch managed to do, the hole was wider by two feet. John was impressed. He placed the last board on the post and quickly hammered it in before waking the Trapinch and walking towards the barn. He wanted to go check on the Pokemon that were trying to breed when Yuki first left. He knew that Yuki's Vozelle and Stantler were in one stall, and after he left the Pikachu and Poochyena went at it in another stall after John reassured that the Pichu was going to be fine after some rest. John also gave a quick peek on the three sleeping Pokemon. He didn't know when they'd come to, but he felt it better to leave them to rest there. The two new Genbu that Yuki had gotten were guarding the three. They looked like two badly placed ornaments as they both hid in their shells. John took this time to take a quick peek over the stall doors to check on the two Pokemon pairs and once satisfied, went into the house to fix him something to eat. tl;dr Yuki Battling. John/Farm checking on breeding and the three fainted Pokemon from the Snorlax battle. |

:: Duijok SwampMoo-moo milk 5/20 (Increases by 0.5 per Battle Post.) I think you may be overestimating Cestar's abilities a little bit there...actually no, it would appear this was a done deal. Seeing as how the dragon had a type advantage, level advantage, STAB advantage, I think maybe you were correct with your assumption that two of the wild Shellos would fall this round. Although they still have some fight in them, they weren't going to faint without dealing a final attack. Cestar coated himself in electrical power, and delivered a powerful tackle on the first Shellos, completely wiping it out. The second was no exception, a Spark hit and it was down for the count. Guess there would be no final attack from these two...and the final one was still sleeping, fat lot of good he's going to do. Artemis did a similar thing, coating herself with dragon energy and delivering a very powerful tackle on the sleeping Shellos, knocking him back, reeling back and attempting to attack again, Artemis somehow misjudged the accuracy of the attack, maybe due to the sheer power and focus needed, and pounded the ground nearby, sending a few stones, knocking onto Shellos's head. It wasn't ideal, but at least it was something. Anyway this round was over, it wouldn't take much more to finish off one pokemon, and then you could move on and finally meet up with your partners for the Run! On the Farm!! John had made his rounds and was getting a quick snack from the Fridge. He made sure to note down everything he had done, and made a status report for you to read through the Poketech: Message Reads: Check Fainted Pokemon: They are still on the mend, but you can see signs of recovery. Maybe a few more hours should do the job. Check Breeding Pokemon: There is definite signs of attraction between the pokemon, but so far no Eggs can be seen. Given more time, you may expect to return to find a few Eggs waiting or hatched. Pond Status: The pokemon have made excellent progress, now just to add water. Reconstruction: The fence is mended, but wild pokemon can still slip through. If a pokemon were to appear, should I use weaker pokemon to battle to strengthen them? or just use the strong ones already there? ~ End of Message ~ [OOC - Sorry, I wasn't sure if I was to ref the farm bit, hope it is all in order]

Yuki smiled as Cestar rammed his way through his opponents with his Spark attack. They fainted fairly quickly leaving him and Artemis healthy enough to take of the last one remaining. Luckily it was fast asleep. It didn't look like it would wake up soon, but Yuki couldn't take that chance. He needed to beat it fast and be on his way. "Cestar finish if off with two Sparks. Artemis, if it doesn't faint from that you'll use two Hidden Powers. That should be enough to KO it so we can leave safely." Both his Pokemon nodded and returned to ready their attacks on their unsuspecting foe. Yuki gave a quick prayer that the Pokemon he beat weren't harmed any further than this. He didn't want any of these and seeing as they moved to attack him first, he didn't feel the obligation to capture them. He stood back and waited for his Pokemon to finish their battle. He still wondered what that sound was. He could still hear it getting louder, but he didn't want to investigate it. He needed to pass through the swamp and make his way to Millenia. |

::Duijok Swamp Moo-moo milk [5.5/20] The two Shellos you had beaten were still quivering with the shocks of electricity running through them. They'd be fine though once that had worn off, you hadn't hurt them physically at least. The last Shellos was still snoozing, blissfully unaware of its impending doom. Looking utterly peaceful, just lying there, wouldn't it have been nicer to just let it be. Cestar charged himself up again and charged through the shimmering light still protecting your team. Crackling with electricity he slammed into the sleeping Shellos. The shock of the attack snapped the Pokemon out of its dreams and into the reality of pain. The electricity coursing through its body all the Shellos could do was just take the second attack. Cestar hit the poor Pokemon again with its second attack before returning to your side. The Light Screen faded as the battle ended and both Pokemon turned to you triumphantly. Artemis did a couple of quick loops in the air beofre perching on your shoulder. Cestar was still crackling with a slight electric charge but apart from that both Pokemon were relatively fine. Nothing a quick trip to a Pokemon Center wouldn't fix anyways. The whistling sound was getting closer and seemed like it was almost upon you. Before you had a chance to move towards Millenia the bushes behind you parted. Out of the swamp emerged the strangest man you'd ever seen. A long beard hung all the way down to his knees along with scraggly brown hair. His eyes gleamed with the look of someone totally oblivious to the world, having lost all sense of humanity years ago. His body was caked in years of grime and dirt giving him some shred of modesty as he wore no other clothes. Suddenly noticing you he gave a feral cry before rushing straight towards you. His arms flailing wildly and still screaming at the top of his voice the man was almost upon you. As suddenly as he had started his charge though, he stopped. His eyes took in Artemis and Cestar and the three fainted Shellos and seemed to make the decision to not bother you after all. Turning he ran off across the swamp, weaving wildly as we went, in the vague direction of Millenia. He quickly disappeared into the bushes on the other side of this particularly marshy section of the swamp, though you could still hear him crashing through the bushes. Despite being crazy the man seemed to know his way through the swamp. Maybe it would be a good idea to follow him though there was no way in knowing where you'd end up. Anyway it was up to you...... Experience {This was my first ever ref so apologies for any mistakes in experience etc. Knew you wanted to get to Millenia quickly so just went wild on the whistling for fun-Matt} |

Yuki took a deep breath when the battle ended. Forgetting where he was he started to choke due to the stench that was being made from the muck in the water. Once he got his breath back under control he looked to his two Pokemon and gave them a gentle smile. "Good job guy..." Yuki watched as the strange man was assaulting him in the middle of the swamp. Yuki took a defensive stance, but the strange man stopped and started to walk away. Was he mad? Did he live in the swamp? He'd have to be pretty insane if he did. Yuki watched him walk off through the brush and checked his map. The man was walking in the same direction as Millenia. Strange coincidence. "Artemis follow him but not too close. Just enough to keep an eye on him. Cestar you follow Artemis from a distance as well. I'll follow the two of you." His bird and Star Dragon nodded and followed after the man at even paces. Yuki waited a bit and then followed and checked his message he had on his Poketech. Check Fainted Pokemon: They are still on the mend, but you can see signs of recovery. Maybe a few more hours should do the job. Well that was good. At least they are doing well. Check Breeding Pokemon: There is definite signs of attraction between the pokemon, but so far no Eggs can be seen. Given more time, you may expect to return to find a few Eggs waiting or hatched. More good news. Pond Status: The pokemon have made excellent progress, now just to add water. Maybe he was rushing things, but still this was good. Reconstruction: The fence is mended, but wild pokemon can still slip through. If a pokemon were to appear, should I use weaker pokemon to battle to strengthen them? or just use the strong ones already there? Yuki had to stop and think for this one. He started typing another message back. "Thanks for watching them. Just keep an eye for when they awaken and then ease them back outside. Let them rest before sending them into anymore danger or working. As for the Breeding. Just check in every so often. When the Egg appears I think there are blankets in the barn already. And for battle. Yes use the lower leveled ones unless things look really bad. If the Pokemon looks like it could do damage even to the lower leveled ones, then use a stronger Pokemon." Yuki pressed Send and focused on following his Pokemon and the strange man. ::On the Farm:: John received the email and nodded to himself. Finishing his lunch, he walked back out and grabbed the Pokemon Feed from the Shed. He went to some of the feeding troughs on the side of the barn and filled them up. He then placed some in individual bowls for the Pokemon that were too short to reach the troughs. "Lunch time!" John banged on a small pot to get their attention. One by one all the Pokemon that were around the farm minus Pikachu, Umbros, Vozelle, Stantler, and the ones that were knocked out appeared and started to eat. John stayed to watch them all eat to make sure they were all fed. He then placed some bowls by the fainted Pokemon and pushed two into each of the stalls that were in use. When he went back outside, he saw that the two other Genbu had hopped into the pond and were helping the other three dig it out. It was making decent progress now at two fifths of the way there. They were pushing half way. They even made part of it deeper. Everything was going pretty well for his first day. |

Duijok Swamp Moomoo Milk [6.5/20] Egg [0/15] After finishing a battle, it may be rough to follow the guy and end up in another. If he had any sense, he was going to the Pokemon Center; or better yet, home. With the Swablu and Cestar tailing the guy, it'd be a little difficult for you to lose him. Prior to your own walk, you had gain some messages and sent one of your own. It seemed like everything was going fine, right? The Sablu and Cestar made a low grunt, having reached Route 4. You seemed to have been on the south side of the route, heading for Millenia. The guy was also walking, for some reason never looking back. The man seemed to stay towards the side of any path, though. "Grah... guh, gah!" You heard some sort of gurgling, mumbling noises coming from the guy. His humanity must really be gone; he lost the ability to speak normal English and maybe he has actually lived in the Swamp. Suddenly he stopped, looked into the bushes and made another loud noise. It seemed he knew he dropped something along the way and here it was a fainted pokemon. Whatever it is you couldn't see it at first, but when he turned he spotted you. In a panic and nearly rage, he ran towards you. "GARH!" He yelled, rushing through you and your pokemon, heading back to the swamp. Had he come all this way to get this fainted pokemon; hell, maybe he came to get it to nurse them back to health before he came after you for another rage fit. "They sure was weird." A guy said, coming from the other bushes across the way where the mysterious man was. This guy seemed to talk normal, even look normal. He was in the usual Ranger getup. It seemed he was watching you and the swamp man, but he came out of hiding. His hat looked like a cowboy's, while it hide his hair underneath, his clothes seemed to be a red jacket and red pants with a black undershirt. Truly a ranger. "I've been assigned to watch that guy, but that was kind of weird." He chuckled, his voice was deep and you could tell by his face that he had to be at least late twenties, maybe early thirties. "I better get going. If you need to heal up your pokemon, Millenia is just down the road." With that, he walked past you in a way better fashion then the swamp man. Maybe you'll meet one of them again. It was some good information the Ranger gave you, since now you knew where the town was. Your pokemon must be a little tired from the fight with the Shellos, as ugly and useless as those slugs are. Moving along the path, you seem to have caught the eye of some pokemon in the distance. It had been a pair of Nidoran-species, a male (Nidorino) and female (Nidorina). They might've been catching a nice meal of grass before laying down in the grass to mate. They weren't the only ones. A pokemon had been eyeing you nastily. A Stunky, grumpy looking skunk, had been on the opposite side looking tired. The yelling from the Swamp Man must've woken him up and he'd take it out on you if he could. And of course, behind you a little ways was a little family of Raitcate and Rattata moving along the path, sniffing for any traces of food they could pick up on. Wild Pokemon
You had a check up from John, who seemed to be doing good for his first day or so of working on the farm. There had been a little incident a while ago with a Snorlax, right? Now it seemed things were just building and having some food. The two deer who took to the barn seemed to be the last to be feed, because John knew they wanted to have time alone but he couldn't skip them. When he went in there had been more then the usual presents for him--this was a little bigger. An egg seemed to appear and John's eyes widened. He went to message you but heard a noise outside. After rushing out, he found a scary sight. He didn't think it was exactly that time of the year, but apparently some Nincada had come to the farm and was frightening some of the pokemon. He didn't know exactly which to use, so he made sure to hurry and send you yet another message. It read: "Sorry Yuki to keep sending messages. Two things. One, Stantler and Vozelle have had an egg. Not sure exactly what type it is, but it had some odd colors in it as if it could be a baby Vozelle. Another thing is Nincada have come tot he outskirts of the farm and disturbed some of the pokemon. They may range in various levels and I wanted to know if there had been any pokemon that you'd want me to use first for training. I count about five of the Nincada and maybe more on the way, due to the way they showed up." What a long message... Wild Nincada *Snow, if I messed up something you know you can 75% of the time find me on AIM. So I can fix anything. Edited by Kazuki, Jun 1 2011, 10:58 AM.

(Farm posting is on hold cause I can't have two battles like that. Counter still moves though~) Yuki watched the bizzare man and the ranger that was following him disappear back into the marsh. The ranger was kind enough to give Yuki proper directions to Millenia. He waved to the Ranger in an attempt to say his thanks, but Yuki doubted that he had seen the gesture. His new path was clear and he looked over Cestar and Swablu before heading out. Neither took much damage but they were tired. Artemis perched on Yuki's shoulder while Yuki carried Cestar. It was better to have them out while resting just in case. He made his way along the path and came across a group of Pokemon. He scanned the two Nidos to see what they were worth, if anything to other trainers. He found a small trade request for the male. He looked at the two as they were resting and then back to his Poketech. "Well seems like a good enough reason to train. I could use them to help with farm expenses." Yuki sighed and reached for Vice's Pokeball. "Vice show time!" Yuki tossed the ball ahead and watched his skeletal raptor emerge from the light. His red eyes saw his foe and he looked towards Yuki. Yuki nodded. "We are after the two Nidos. If anything else attacks defend yourself. I'll call out Bertha or Santdraclaws if we need the help. But for now we focus just on the two Nidos. Since they don't seem to notice us yet, we can hit them with a pre-emptive attack. Start with Double Team and then hit them with a Magnitude. We'll see how they move afterwards." Yuki felt bad for this. He remembered how he caught Pikachu but business was business. He needed them if he were to survive. |

Duijok Swamp MooMoo Milk 7/20 Egg 0.5/15 These two Nidos were enjoying their day. They had a nice meal, had a good time with one another, and in any and all respects life was good. Well, that's all about to change. Vice split into several copies of himself with his Double Team, and his ferocious roar Intimidated the hell out of your two opponents. Combined with their Rivalry, and the female's attack strength dwindled to barely anything, though the male's decrease was lessened. Before the two Nidos could react, Vice let loose his Magnitude. Unfortunately for you it wasn't the STRONGEST Magnitude, but hey it was better than nothing. It could've been worse, after all. Still, with STAB and type advantages it packed a decent punch. The two dinosaurs reeled back from the attack, but quickly caught their balance. Deciding that their attack strength was too low, they went with another tactic. The male took a few good long looks at Vice while the female turned around and shook her tail back and forth. Well their tactics sort of worked. Due to Vice's evasion boost, only two of the Leers and two of the Tail Whips actually hit. Still it was enough to lower Vice's defence by a good chunk. He'd need to move fast of he was going to take them out before they got to him. Thankfully they only have a handful of moves that can actually hit him, and only one or two that can deal significant damage. Team Yuki Team Nido

Yuki watched the battle in confusion. He knew the Nido's had no really fatal attacks against his Spiraptor and there weren't many other things they could do. Though lowering his defense didn't help them in the long run. With luck Spiraptor could easily beat both of them with one attack, though Yuki didn't want to rely just on luck. The one Magnitude he hit off did a decent amount of damage even though it looked weak. Yuki tried to set Cestar down, but since the little dragon could float, it just hovered over the ground. Yuki turned to make sure the other Pokemon weren't planning anything. He could have Bertha to deal with the Rattata if they attacked. Yuki guessed Ariel would work against the Stunky if he needed her, although Santdraclaws would probably maneuver better than Horsea. Since the only battle he was in was against the Nido's he focused back on them. "Vice, another Double Team then this time fire off two Magnitudes at the Nido's. Let's try to take them out quickly before things get ugly." Yuki readied two Pokeballs just in case the Nido's were knocked out with this next set of orders. Better to be prepared than sorry. |

.:Duijok Swamp, MooMoo Milk 7.5/20, Egg 1/15:. As the lovely Nidos were interrupted they wouldn't go quietly even if their were two Vice's on the field. Both of them each picked one as there eyes followed closely the target they were going after. Just then Vice used another Double team splitting himself from two to now three. The Nido couple didn't seem to care. They each took one. Nidorina used a tail whip than a poison sting, while Nidorino did used a leer as well as a poison sting. As you watched the Nido couple get down and use a vicious leer attack on the two Spiraptor's you could see as the the one being targeted by the Nidorino was getting ready to unleash one of two Magnitudes. As the Nidorina used Tail Whip you could see the Spiraptor it went for didn't move it stood still, as something was clearly off. It was a copy, while the one that Nidorino went after clearly wasn't. Nidorino lowered Spiraptor's Defense a bit, while it sent a ray of poison pins at it in the form of poison sting. As the Nidorina sent a poison sting towards the clone, you could see as it popped and vanished it was a clone after all. While Spiraptor sent out a killer Magnitude. As the magnitude shook and broke the ground the Nido pair sure felt the effects. It was a devastating move, it had completely taken out the Nidorina. While the Nidorino was holding on by a bit of life. As Spiraptor was ready to use the other Magnitude, Nidorino shook the damage from the previous one off. Spiraptor fell down with another one. This was seemed to send ripples through the earth completely taking out the Nidorino. As it feel to the ground Vice let out a mighty roar. It had just taken out two pokemon with two moves. It was a swift victory. As the two pokemon were taken out you could now catch them, and judging by the Poke Balls you pulled, that's exactly what you intended to do. Throwing one Poke Ball at each of the Poison types, they were captured effortlessly. Vice seemed quite proud of his power. As he finally settled down he waited to see what you would do with two knocked out foes. The choice was up to you. Victory

The two Pokeballs Yuki threw caught both of the Nidos effortlessly. None of the other wild Pokemon seemed interested in him nor did he find any of them interesting. Before he could retrieve his prizes, they were transported to his PC. Well that made things much easier as that was where he intended to send them when he got to Millenia. Yuki smiled and patted Vice on his side. "Well done Vice. Now time to rest untill we get to Millenia. I hope its not too late to join the party there." Yuki set off down the path the ranger had pointed to. He wanted to reach Millenia soon after having two minor breaks. In all the excitement he forgot to check back on the farm. Pulling his Poketech up while walking he read the message sent. A Vozelle egg was good news, but the Nincada weren't. He messaged back. 'Use Magna, Yanma, and Stunky first. Gage the Nincada and switch to Loo and Jade if things get too wild. If more are on the way, ass Helagua and Wraith to the battles.' Yuki pressed the send button and continued travelling to Millenia with Cestar and Artemis. .:Back on the Farm:. John read the message sent to him from Yuki. Use the Slugma, Yanma and Stunky. Well Yanma didn't seem to have many moves under its belt so John was a bit skeptical of this choice. Of course Yuki wanted to let the lower levels get some battle practice in as well. With Cthooloo and Belluom on back up it could possibly work. "Magna, Stunky, Yanma!" The three called Pokemon made their way to John. "See those Nincada, they are invading the Farm. Yuki wants you three to do battle with them. Magna I want you to sweep them with Flamethrower first. Then use your Hidden Power on which ever is closest. Try to sweep low so we don't have too many issues. After Slugma attacks, Yanma is to use three Quick attacks and hit three of the Nincada. You pick which three would be your best targets, but try to stay out of reach after hitting them. We can't let you get grounded by them." Slugma and Yanma nodded together and readied themselves. Stunky was left and waited for his orders. "Stunky, You give off a loud Screech before Yanma attacks. This may help Yanma deal more damage. When Yanma is away from the Nincadas you use Poison Gas in their direction. If we are lucky we can poison one or two of them." Stunky nodded and joined with Yanma and Slugma. John needed to prep Cthooloo and the others next. He called them over and explained what Yuki wanted. Loo, Jade, Wraith, and Helagua started to spread out a bit. The other Pokemon started to keep an eye out for any other Nincada that may emerge to join in the fight. Loo was told to use his Water Pulse on any stray fires that start and Belluom was to ambush any new Nincada that appeared with Stun Spore. The others were simply to watch and be ready. |

{OOC: Was unsure about the counters but assumed since a battle was going on in post it was halved even if it wasn't you specifically battling. Just PM me if that's wrong and I'll change it} ::Route 4 MooMoo Milk [8/20] Egg Counter [1.5/15] You wandered through the murky swampy on your way to Millenia town with your Pokemon. Hopefully whatever it was you wanted to get there for hadn't happened yet. I'm sure it hasn't, time seems to wait for you in a place like this. The good news was there began to get less and less of the swampland and the ground became even more solid. After a couple more minutes of walking you emerged onto a wide grassy road that stretched off round a corner. Peering you could just make out the sea and Millenia Town at the end of it. You were so nearly there and not long now until you did arrive. There were various Pokemon running around on the route. A group of Patrat were hustling around a small patch of trees and continually on the look out for any prey. They kept a particularly close eye on a flock of Spearow flying overhead but the birds passed by uneventfully. A weird chiming reached your ears and a group of bell-like Pokemon floated across the road. The Chingling continued to chime as they went on their way down towards Millenia. You took your first step out onto the route and were almost run over by some autumnal Deerling as they pranced about with joy. Luckily for you none of these Pokemon were the slightest bit interested in you or your Pokemon. I suppose that was a bonus as you had already had two unnecessary interruptions this trip. Well the Pokemon were there if you wanted them but I assume you just want to get to town as quickly as possible.... ::On the Farm Back on the farm John was having to deal with an invasion of Nincada into the ranch. There were five of them swarming onto your land though one for now was hanging back out of the way. They began to head across the property continuing in a dead straight line. Who knows what they wanted. John read your message having waited anxiously for a reply and set to fending off the attack. He ordered your slightly weaker Pokemon to attack in the hope they'd gain some battle experience. The Nincada were moving quickly but Yanma was quicker. Stunky tried in vain to Screech before Yanma got off at least one Quick Attack but the bug landed his first attack swiftly and surely on one of the male Nincada. Stunky then emitted an ear splitting screech that halted the bugs in their track. Yanma continued his onslaught and hit another two of the males before zooming out of the way. In that he wasn't quite quick enough. The most powerful Nincada leapt at the flying bug and swiped furiously at it. He managed to get in four hits and almost knocked out the Yanma before he could escape. With Yanma finally free Stunky fired off a Poison Gas attack. The highest levelled Nincada was closest and got the full brunt of the attack. The poison seeped into his system and he cringed at the pain of it. Unfortunately the gas quickly dissipated in the open air and despite inhaling a tad the other bugs suffered no ill effects. One of the Nincadas had stopped and was focusing on itself and a faint gleam shone across its body. Hardened up it leapt forward and Scratched Magna before retreating. Magna retaliated with a swepping Flamethrower attack that set the bugs screaming. One of them seemed to catch fire and managed to get a burn from the poweful fire. The burnt Nincada tried to cool it by flinging sand everywhere with a couple of Sand Attacks though only succeeded in blinding your Pokemon. Magna summoned up the mysterious Hidden Power and attacked the burnt Nincada again. Th female Nincada scuttled across and just Scratched Stunky before running off again. To finish the attack off the strongest Nincada used a Leech Life on Stunky and managed to regain some health and energy. So far none of your Pokemon had fainted but neither had any of the wild bugs. The other female was yet to join in and just milled about on the edge of your farm. The rest of your Pokemon were watching the battle and were ready to jump in at a moments notice. The Nincada seemed to regroup for another attack and John prepared himself.... Battle Conditions
