Yuki's jaw dropped as he took out the Santdraclaws in one shot. He didn't expect to beat the Pokemon that easily, though that is what he was aiming for. He still couldn't shake the awe from his mind. Two of his newest Pokemon and two of his oldest took out the creature in one try. Defiantly not something that is seen every day. The Santdraclaws did put up his own fight which was well enough. The Dragon proved that it was worth keeping after the display it showed against Yuki's over whelming power combo. He sat down letting his mind catch up to the moment and let his Pokemon celebrate their victory. When he finally remembered what he was supposed to do, he packed up the Items Miltank brought and pulled out his Pokeball. "Guys stand back." Yuki shouted to the Pokemon that were in the way. As soon as they moved he tossed his Pokeball up and at the Dragon. After this head to the Pokemon Center to finish my chores. |

The fact that the pokéball only shook once being 'dinging' to declare your success was an adequate metaphor for the actual battle, if it could be called a battle. It was over before the Santdraclaws really knew what was happening. As you picked the pokéball up, it flickered for a moment before becoming immaterial and disappearing swiftly. It was automatically moved to your PC, which is most efficient for everyone. As it was, this wasn't entirely necessary, since the PokéCenter at Nogou was your next stop anyway. The journey back to the centre of the village was relatively easy work, considering the trouble-laden excursion you'd just endured to get this far. You and your pokémon made an amusing and cute team as you walked along, your head full of your intentions in Nogou. The first demand was for healing, considering that brief encounter with the hostile Ekans, but that was quickly completed. The other chores were easily completed, if a little time consuming, but they were satisfying to get out of the way. You put your Reaper Cloth up for trade, and then went to purchase some licenses - two plus-ones - which allowed you to withdraw Horsea. Wanting some publicity, you managed to get that advertisement up for your farm, but also a 'battle me!' challenge to the residents of Nogou. Feeling productive, it was a nice treat when your Pokétech beeped at you, telling you of two updates; the Reaper Cloth had been accepted in a trade for a Spiraptor and a Mago Berry. Excited, you withdrew the Spiraptor as well. The other thing was that you had been randomly gifted a Stunky and a Rare Candy. Aren't people nice? Satisfied with yourself, you stepped out of the PokéMart for the final time, and took a deep breath of the fresh air. Bring on the rest of the day. |

Yuki sighed when he finally finished his seemingly easy trip to the Pokemon Center. More things have happened than Yuki thought possible, and these little incidents have set him behind on his schedule. Once he finished up all his work he returned back to his home. The trip back was thankfully uneventful. Once he got to the front door, he led Loo and Miltank to the side gate and opened it for them to enter. He then back tracked back to the front and deposited the box on his couch while Artemis perched on a mantle above the fire place and Belluom curled up by his feet. He just needed a moment to catch his breath before he started the next part. After a few moment's of rest he got back up and retreated to his room to collect the Pokeballs he left at home. Once everything was back it its right place, Yuki exited through the back door that led to his farm yard. Once he got back there he headed straight for the shed and pulled out his lawnmower. His Pokemon gathered around looking confused. "Hm? What? I need to cut some of the tall grass so we can practice. You guys can help me." Yuki and the few Pokemon he had out started clearing out a nice large section of his farm land. Once they managed to get twenty feet wide and twenty feet long they stopped and Yuki had the Pokemon around him lay in the circle. Once they were there, Yuki tossed out Spiraptor and Ariel's Pokeballs. "First thing first. Names." Yuki pointed to Miltank. "Bertha. Couldn't think of anything more colorful sorry." Miltank giggled a bit, but she didn't seem to dislike the name. "Jade." Yuki pointed to Belluom who simply blushed. "Wraith." Yuki pointed to Ekans who gave off a very dark smile. "Vice." Yuki pointed to the Spirtaptor who started to lay down next to everyone else. "Well, now that the name game is finished, we have a bit of work to do. Everyone except for Loo will be learning the same new attack. I need you all to space out evenly and make sure there is enough space between everyone. You are all going to sit in place and focus on your inner power. Stay in a Meditation state and search for the Hidden Power deep within. Once you find it, try to bring it to the surface. Concentrate only on the power and try to summon it forth into orbs around your body. When you feel enough power is around you, fire the orbs outward and into the air so as not to harm your partners." Yuki pulled up examples of the moves to show his Pokemon how others have used the attack before and went to each of them in turn to show them. Spoiler: click to toggle He then pulled Loo off to the side. "Your attack is different. You are going to learn Brine. Its a fairly basic Water attack much weaker than Hydropump. The real difference is you have to add salt into the water. As a water Pokemon you can produce the sale naturally seeing as you can survive in ocean water. What I want you to do is mix the salt into a pressurized attack like Hydropump and fire it off that way." Yuki pointed out to the open field away from the rest of his Pokemon. "That's really the only difference between the new attack and the ones you already know how to do." Yuki patted Loo on his back and decided to check on Umbros and Pikachu to see how they are doing. By the time he checks on them the Pokemon should have some effort put into their attacks. |

All having had the chance to see what the attack was meant to look like, each of the 10 pokémon (except Loo, since you were now talking to it) found a patch where they could settle, allowing for comfortable personal space. Very quickly, it began to look like a yoga session with bizarre creatures. Each one relaxed, calmed, focused on themselves, the calm, the strength they each had within them. Some of them found that your images had helped; they had a rough idea what to do with the energy that slowly started to fall under their control. Some of them found the commands too vague, and though they knew how to summon energy, they weren't entirely confident about what to do with it in this case. As with any large group doing the same thing, the results differed immensely in this first attempt at Hidden Power. Artemis was one of the more successful ones; it didn't take long for her to harness the power needed, and she managed to use it to create formless shapes which slowly circled her. As she concentrated, they began to become proper spheres, but they lacked any special type, which was key to Hidden Power. They were just energy balls, but at least she knew how to get the base down. This problem was the most common for most of the practicing pokémon. The Swablu released her energy, sending them flying upwards and outwards. The balls disappeared within moments, but at least the basics were down. Magna had managed roughly the same as Artemis, but in his practicing, he had focused specifically on his fire power to see if he could influence the spheres. It worked, to an extent. Hidden Power isn't supposed to be manipulated like that, but it helped to give the spheres a typing, and when released, they fizzled out with small bursts of flame. It just needed some refining. The Trapinch wasn't having any such luck; desperately trying to focus on his inner energy, Jester just wasn't getting it. There was one moment when a shapeless blob formed right in front of his nose, but he lost it within moments. The Ekans had seen Magna's strategy, having peeked out from his meditative-like state. This meant that her reproduction of the move failed, but at least he had a better standing for the attempt. The spheres were pumped full of his poison energy, and they fizzled as they spun around him, a little uncontrollable. They went bouncing off across the grass when he released them, and one hit Jade, completely interrupting her concentration. The Belluom made a sad noise as the spheres she had been carefully forming were lost, but she had made decent progress before being interrupted. Vice had witnessed it, and also lost concentration, but he hadn't been having much luck anyway. He didn't have the patience for it, and had tried to form the balls before truly harnessing the power within him; the result were rather pathetic, transparent, easily destroyed forms which had floated about him lifelessly. He didn't put as much effort in as some of you other pokémon, but he was naturally more powerful, which made up for it... but only a little. His spheres disappeared the moment he stopped paying attention. One of Wraith's stray balls had also struck Ariel. The Horsea, completely surprised by the unintended attack, also lost concentration, which was a shame, because she had been doing extremely well. The spheres had taken a while to form, but they were exemplary, and Horsea was just figuring out the 'type' situation when she was hit. The poison drained her small body for a moment, causing her to cry out in pain. Bertha was the one to go to her 'rescue'; making sympathetic noises, the Miltank cooed the Horsea to calmness, and helped Ariel to concentrate once more. Bertha had been able to afford the distraction because her first attempt at Hidden Power had been, by far, the best of all. Having relaxed and focused, she had been able to form the spinning spheres with little to no difficulty. Once they were complete, and she was happy she could do no more, they had been sent flying. She had done so well as to touch on the 'type' and 'power' property of her Hidden Power! This was the only real weakness in her attempt, though, for only a few of the balls had been imbued with the Ghost power. Loo, meanwhile, was busy with Brine. As you had said, injecting the salt was simple enough; the only problem was knowing how much to use, or how little. He had spent a lot of time using salt-powered Water Guns (and a few Hydro Pumps) all about the place. Though tempted to aim them at the other pokémon, he wisely chose not to - though perhaps testing it in battle would be wise, otherwise the balance of salt to water is largely unknown. Problem is, all that had tired him out a fair bit, though he pretty much got the hang of injecting salt. Knowing Hydro Pump already, how hard could it be? When you went to check on Umbros and Pikachu, you caught them snuggling up together. When they saw you, they edged apart a little, and the Pikachu giggled. The two seem to get on very well! Yuki laughed when he saw Umbros and Pikachu together. He waved to them and returned to his Pokemon while they were showing their progress with their tutors. Loo made excellent progress with Brine. It didn't look like he'd be able to perfect it until they had to fight. For now they could keep working with what they can. "Loo that was great. For now we'll do like we did with Hydro Pump. Start off with just a little and eventually add more and more as you go. We can only guess as to the amount, but I'm sure that even with a little salt in the water the move will be as effective as it should be. I mean we are literally rubbing salt into the wounds with this attack." Yuki chuckled and left Loo to do his business. He moved to watch the others attempt the same move. As Yuki expected, three Pokemon did the best. Two had personal training with energy manipulation already and one was a Pokemon that specialized in special attacks so there was no real surprise in their effort. "Good work guys. Bertha I want you to help the others since you have the most experience with these types of attacks and have shown the most advancement. I saw that some of you tried to focus the attack by focusing your own elemental energy into the ball. That was a good attempt, but this attack calls on a random element when used. You have to find your hidden power deep inside to master the attack. Bertha will help and Artemis too. She has learned energy control when she learned Mirror Move." Yuki managed to make he went over every detail he could with each of them and hoped that as soon as Bertha learned the attack she could help teach the attack to the others. He walked off to a somewhat safe distance to watch them and wondered how fast it would take for his advertisements to spread around. Edited by Xander, Mar 18 2010, 09:09 PM.

Move Tutoring, such a useful skill to have and it looks like you have it done pretty good. Maybe you should open a shop or something. Oh wait... you already did. Anyways, it looks like most of your Pokemon had a general idea of the attack that they were trying to learn but the others were completely lost on what to do. Hopefully some of the Pokemon finish this round so that they can help the others that are struggling. Loo started thing off with trying Brine a few more times. It started by firing off a slightly stronger version of Water Gun and added a very little amount of salt to it. After getting used to using the attack with a small amount of salt, it began to add more and more at a slow pace, making sure it had different ratios of water to salt. Loo was still unsure about the perfect amount that it needed and that could only be determined when the attack is used in battle. Next up was Bertha and everyone else with trying to understand Hidden Power a little bit more. It seemed like Bertha already had a general understanding of the move and she started to make noises so that everyone would watch her while she demonstrated the move. She performed the move just like she did before, but this time, she was speaking PokeLanguage during the entire time so that everyone could understand everything that she was doing in order to pull the move off. She focused a little and soon enough, she had spheres circling her again. This time, the spheres were a silver-ish color and seemed like they'd be hard as steel. She then fired them off into the air and shortly after, they disappeared seeing that there wasn't a target for them to hit. Bertha had fully learned Hidden Power and now she'd be the perfect Pokemon to help the others learn it. After Bertha had finished demonstrating the move and going through it step by step, everyone else decided that it was time that they gave it a shot. Artemis and Magna did the best on there second attempt compared to everyone but Bertha. They were able to from spheres, make them circle around themselves, and give the spheres a little amount of random typing. Artemis got water while Magna got rock. All they had to do now is fill the spheres completely with the random energy. Next up was Jester and Vice. They had done the worst last time and now they wanted redemption. Well, Jester wanted redemption and Vice just wanted to prove that he was better than everyone else. Jester did exactly as Bertha showed but was still having a little trouble with it. He got a few shapeless blobs to circle him but they didn't have a type and when he fired them off, they didn't go very far. As for Vice, his shapes were a little more defined but not quite spheres. He was also able to get a type into them, but it was only his own. As for distance, they were a little further than Jester's but still didn't go as far as they needed to. Lastly, it was time for Wraith, Jade, and Ariel to take a second shot at the move. All three of them were able to get spheres to circle around them but only Ariel was able to get a type into it that wasn't her own. Every sphere went the full distance that they were supposed to and it looked like they didn't have much work to do until they were finished. Well, everything was finished for this round and everyone was coming along nicely. Just a little bit more practice and everyone should be done. It looked like Jester needed the most help and then everyone else just needed to practice the move a little. And as for Loo, it spied something shiny slithering across the freshly cut lawn. And if you were to look up, you'd notice that it was a Sneel and it looked like it'd be the perfect opponent for Loo to practice Brine on. Yuki was proud at how fast his team was picking up on the attacks. Most were past the halfway mark thanks to Bertha's assistance and a few previous moves to a couple of them. They should get it perfectly after a few more tries. There wasn't anything else Yuki could do but watch and make sure they didn't break anything while practicing the attacks. "Bertha keep up the help. Most seem to have it down and need to perfect it, but Jester seems to be falling behind. Try to show him. Have him fire it off twice. Show him before he attempts then again after he attempts the first shot. The Show and tell should help him out a lot more." "Artemis, Manga, Ariel, and Wraith, you four move away a bit so you don't distract Vice and Jester. Like how Bertha is going to help Jester. Each of you fire off the attack once more. See how she does it, and then try to correct yourselves." Yuki turned to Vice. He was making somewhat decent progress, but like Jester, didn't seem to have much luck with ranged moves. Hidden power may be the only thing Yuki tries with these two until they practice Ranged attacks or if he could ever get his hands on some TMs. "Vice you are going to do like the others except you are going to try to launch a successful attack three times. Watch Bertha's explanation, then attempt. After that, see where you think you may have messed up and try again, then for the final time try to fix any other mistakes you made and focus the power in as best you can. You've got the most heart in this training. I don't want to see you fall behind." Hopefully the egging on would get Vice to try a bit harder and end up with more success. All that was left was Loo. Yuki went to Loo's side and saw Loo staring intently at something in the grass. It took Yuki a while to find what held Loo's attention to strongly. When Yuki saw it he chuckled. "Have an issue with Snakes, Loo? Well its time is fortuitous. You needed some way to perfect Brine. I really don't want to attack a wild Pokemon, but it wandered into our farm and needs to be taken care of. I'll bring it to the Pokemon Center afterwards. Hit it with Hydro Pump to damage it and then try to use two Brines. The first to try and gauge the damage you deal, the second to make the correction you need to master the attack." Yuki didn't feel good about attacking the Pokemon, but it was wild and did trespass into his farm. Normally his Pokemon would attack it anyway. It just showed up at the right place at the wrong time. Yuki is going to have to take it straight to the Pokemon Center and ask how to keep wild Pokemon out his property or if they had a special call system to pick up wild fainted Pokemon so he wouldn't have to make trips to the Center every time he has to scare off or faint a wild Pokemon that comes into his territory. |

Seems Bertha’s Hidden Power type shifted a little before she finished it, but to no great trouble; she now had a good Steel attack, until she levelled. Plus, thanks to her help, several of your other pokémon were exhibiting signs of revealing their random typing, which was a marked improvement. The Miltank didn’t need to call for the others’ attention this time, because most of them already knew that the tutoring would go markedly faster if they watched her. She waddled over to Jester, who was a little ashamed at needing extra help, but willing to accept it. The Trapinch watched as Bertha pulled off yet another perfect Steel-type Hidden Power, the balls safely vanishing into nothing, and a sudden revelation passed over Jester’s face. Concentrating, the ant pokémon summoned the energy for another try, and this time managed to form several solid balls, which hung in the air around him. With a small cry, he sent them spinning away harmlessly, and then set to work immediately on another set, knowing that they were missing something. This time, the balls crackled with hints of electrical energy, and Bertha made a motherly, approving noise. The Trapinch was delighted, but got a little distracted; the balls dropped to the ground and became nothing. Still, it was a massive leap, especially considering that he struggled so much early on. The five who were taking well to the move - Artemis, Magna, Wraith, Ariel and Jade - all moved away, despite you not telling Jade to. She was a little upset that you’d forgotten her, and so moved on her own initiative with the others. It didn’t mean that she didn’t put effort into it; she assumed there was just a lot on your mind. She was a kindly little Belluom. The five discussed tactics and mistakes, and, watching whenever Bertha performed, had another go. Two of the five, Ariel and Magna, managed to complete their learning completely in moments, and then began to help the other three, who got very close to finishing it thanks to the help. Every one of them, now, had managed to imbue their attacks with a typing, which left very little to practice. Vice was the only one left from the Hidden-Power crew. He resented the light patronisation; as if he couldn’t do it and needed ‘special help’! Pah. He didn’t like these cutesy methods. He pulled a face at you as you turned away to deal with Loo, but knew that he had no choice but to perform your commands. He was better than this! Pulling away from the other pokémon, because he knew he didn’t need help, he fell silent and began to concentrate. The first attempt was good, but not great; he failed at the typing, but the balls formed well and flew further. He grunted, and began again, focusing on where he had gone wrong, for he knew that he was better than that. This time, when the balls formed, they were faintly green, and he muttered his name in a faint echo of victory as he sent them shooting off. The third time was only needed to reinforce his new knowledge, but it did the job; he had done even better than Jester, and completely finished the move. Arrogant and extremely pleased with himself (though of course this was to your benefit) he pointedly sat down to relax. He knew he was the best. The last thing on the menu was Loo and that Sneel. The Cthooloo was really quite pleased with the idea of targeting an innocent pokémon; it was meant to be the embodiment of evil, afterall. The little steel snake had no idea what was happening when suddenly Cthooloo unleashed Hydro Pump upon it. You were almost at risk of losing your target as the water swept across the grass, dragging the snake with it. Loo hissed happily, and began to run after it, seeking out its prey. The small snake wasn’t too hard to find, because suddenly the air was filled with a loud Screech. Loo flinched at the noise, but it didn’t deflect it; the beast whipped around and made towards the sound, preparing a Brine. The little Sneel, rightly annoyed at being attacked with no warning, was prepared to defend himself. Loo shot one trigger-happy Brine at the thing, which made the snake cry out angrily, and rush forwards. Loo shot another, careful to adjust the levels of salt in accordance to the previous performance, and was rewarded with a snake in the face. The Sneel had somehow managed to attach himself to Loo’s head, Wrapping his body around as many times as he could. It was very impressive, considering the difference in height. If he managed to hang on, though, he risked severe confusion; being strapped to a Cthooloo’s head is about as ‘in contact’ as you can be.

Loo didn't seem to have much going for him in the battle. It was a little embarrassing to see him get his face bound up the way it was by a snake possibly 1/10th his size. Actually it was a little humorous. Yuki defiantly chuckled a little at the act but quickly lost the laugh and sighed. "Loo don't let it take you like that. Try to take it off your face. If you can't force it off, then try to use Mega Drain and Confuse Ray to see if those work and get the little bugger off your face. You really don't need any more tentacles there." Loo yelled out hearing the amused voice of his master. He did not like being made fool of. Yuki just hoped he didn't antagonize Loo too much. He turned to his team that was still tutoring and was surprised to see more than half firing off mastered attacks. He was proud of all of them, even those that still haven't finished. Just a little more and the ones that fell behind would catch up. "Good work guys. Jade, Artemis, Jester, and Wraith continue with the training. The rest of you can go and relax for a bit. Once everyone is done I'll go make us all some food. Bertha if you could continue acting as the tutor for this I'd appreciate it. I need to go check on Umbros and Pikachu." Yuki smiled when Bertha nodded and turned to give the remaining four pointers on how to use the attacks. Quietly Yuki slipped into his barn and gave very light taps on the wall to let the two know he was coming to check on them. He felt bad that what ever baby they may have, they may not be able to keep. Yuki didn't plan on keeping the Pikachu. Umbros may not be too happy with that idea, but the idea for this part of the Daycare was to breed Pokemon that he could sell to keep him and his Pokemon happy with their current home. He knew that's what some Miltank and Tauros farms did back home in Johto, but he never visited those kinds. He's only ever lived in the Dragon Shrine. He shook thoughts of his old life out of his head and went back to slowly walking towards where he remembered Umbros and Pikachu were. |

Let’s handle the battle first. With Sneel attached to the face of your Cthooloo, there was little more it could do aside from cling to the tentacle’d face of your Pokemon and hope for the best. Alas, with a Mega Drain it fell off a little from the sudden sensation of having its vitals ripped from its body. But, it wasn’t going down so easily, well…it proceeded to use Screech, and then went in for a Bind before getting a face full of Confuse Ray. Your Cthooloo huffed and grunted, signalling that it wanted more orders so it could put the disoriented snake. Move Tutor time. Bertha went around to Artemis, Jester, Wraith and Jade and gave them pointers on what they needed to be doing to achieve Hidden Power. Bertha performed the move again, and then went through each stage, or at least how she felt about each stage, and again, they discussed about where each of them were going wrong. Granted, they were all pretty much done with the move, they just needed the finishing touches on the move. They decided to try it all at once, in unison to try and learn from one another, with Bertha leading the mass. Each one in turn focused and drew deep from their innermost power, the power that was, up until this point, hidden from themselves. One by one they released their attacks into the sky and lucky for you, each one was flawless; which made Bertha clap just the once out of glee and congratulated the group. All that was left was to relax and wait for some grub while you returned. The light taps informed both the Pikachu and Poochyena inside of your presense, and by the time they came into view, Umbros was looking up at you, chin resting on Pikachu’s curled up form, a slight blush and contented smile spread across her face. She was awake, and her tail was twitching slightly from how they were laying, but it was quite clear that the magical moment was going to be happening sometime in the future. Be that the actual act, or the sudden and mysterious appearance of an egg, we wouldn’t know. Either way, for now, they were being close and intimate, and things were progressing well for you. Oh, and right. Forgot about this. Outside you heard two things. One was a whistling, coming high above followed by the panicked cries of your Pokemon responding to the following crashing into the ground. ![]() Would you find an announcement come across your PokeTech about a Pokemon giveaway in the Meteoric Plains in exchange for rare meteors that seemed to be crash landing all about the region. Luckily for you, this was one of those meteors and it seemed to be cool enough to pick up and carry with you safely. On top of this though, you would have a helicopter to catch, or at least should catch when it arrived. The whirling of the blades spinning was the second thing you could hear, and it was getting closer. Just need to signal that helicopter, settle your Pokemon, and get on with life, dig?

Yuki smiled and sighed at the sight of his Pokemon. They were very cute together and it hurt him that he'd have to give up the Pikachu one day. At least for now they could just take care of the egg together while he tended to his business. He went to the front to go get a nursing blanket he saw earlier when he heard an odd whistling noise. When he heard his Pokemon cry out he rushed outside just in time to see a meteor smash into part of his land. Luckily it was fairly far back in his land and the impact didn't cause that much damage. Yuki met up with five of his Pokemon as he went to check out the site of impact. Jester was crawling out of the crater with some odd black rock in his mouth. Yuki took the rock and patted Jester. It was cool to his touch and gave off an odd light inside. Yuki tossed it up and placed it into his pocket shaking his head. "Looks like I'll have to start digging that pond soon." He laughed to himself but then retreated into his house where he caught a broad cast on his Poketech. Some lady was speaking about some beast that was in Nogou forest and how helicopters were being sent to pick up trainers all around Alternia.Yuki scrambled around the house, making sure it was locked up. Yuki then picked up his Poketech, grabbed his pack and six of his used Pokeballs, recalling Artemis, Jade, Vice, Bertha, and Ariel. He turned to see Loo still fighting against the snake Pokemon. "Loo we need to finish up like now. Double Hydro Pump while its disoriented. I'll take care of it when I get back. Just hurry and finish the battle or scare it off." Yuki turned to the Pokemon he didn't recall. "Guys soon a helicopter is going to pick me up and I need you to watch the farm while I'm gone. I already locked the front and back door so just listen if someone tries to break in. If they do, don't use ranged attacks inside. Wraith, you are in charge again. Jester, you stay inside the fence line. Magna, you are going to protect Umbros and Pikachu in the barn. They just had a baby so they can't move right now. You all work togehter until I get back ok?" The three nodded. And Yuki stood by Loo ready to recall him when Loo finished his battle. {{OOC: Have the helicopter drop me off in Meteoric Plains after Yuki gets the message about Cestar. }} |

Moomoo Milk Posts: 9/20 Well... I don't even have to say anything, Sneel was in the middle of a large, muddy crater as Loo was recalled. The helicopter came moments later, landing in your largely empty field. Yuki boarded, and was whisked away to the surprisingly close area that the large turtle Genbu was rampaging... ----------------------------------------------------- That ended rather efficiently.. Pokemon and their magical moves... Thanks to one trainer's Super Fang wielding Spheal, the turtle fell rather fast. As you boarded the helicopter for a return trip, you noticed that there was an unread message on your Poketch. Apparently, the meteor you found a while ago can be traded in for a rare Dragon Pokemon, and this was plainly in your area of interest, wasn't it? You asked the pilot if he could change his destination, and you were on your way.. But first, let's see how things are at the farm~ Once the spectacle of the machine was gone, your Pokemon pretty much meandered around and did their own thing. Magna went into the barn, and Wraith stopped an attempt or two from Jester trying to leave. The little Trapinch eventually gave up, and decided to go over and visit the still unconscious Sneel. He climbed up the little mount that the crater had caused, and looked down at it. The water was absorbed into the dirt, causing mud to fill the space all around it. The Sneel's head was just above it, and it was faintly breathing, yet still with it's lights completely out. Stepping onto the driest parts of the ground he could get to, Jester waddled his way over to the snake. Once he was in range, he poked it a little with his stubby foot. Nothing happened.. He tried again, gaining the same result. He tried one more time, and strangly, the snake twitched. Jester jumped back in surprise and quickly fled from the mud, leaving the snake alone again. Funnily, it was only an escaping air bubble under the snake that made him twitch... But, anyway... The helicopter landed breifly to let you off before soaring away to transport someone else. Dust from the charred field blew into the air all around you as it took off, and it took a moment before you could gaze out at the crater ridden field. The event was set up around a very large meteor, that also had a pulsing crystalline substance embedded on it's sides. There was a deck like area build around it, and stairs for workers of the event to get into the large meteor, along with a crane to lower themselves into it. There was a larger main area build onto the deck, where a large table was set up. There was a man sitting behind the table, and on his left was a large bin with the collected meteors, and to his right a crate of Pokeballs, apparently the reward. You made your way to the middle of the field where this was all located, and climbed up a set of wooden stairs. As you got to the top, a staff member of some sort directed you to the large table. "Ah, welcome young trainer. You have something for us, I'm betting?" With a slight nod, you took the large, black stone out of your back and rested it on the table. "Ooh, one of the black ones. These are quite rare among the ones that fell. As promised, here is your Pokemon. It's a Dragon/Electric type that fell to the earth in the large meteor behind you. The small meteors have some.. use to us, so we decided to hand out the dragons in return for trainers bringing these marvelous stones to us. Here's yours, good sir, and thank you for participating!":cestarHe handed you a Pokeball, which contained the aforementioned dragon type. You were led off the platform and back down the stairs. This time, you took a closer look at one of the crystal pannels on the very large meteor. It was almost something like a window.. Inside, you could barely make out the figure of a man, and several small figures around him. Uncaught dragons, maybe? You were now off of the main platform itself, in the middle of the crater filled Meteoric Plains. Kijutsu City was a short walk away, and you may have some team ordering to do, maybe? Up to you now.. ----------------------------------------------------- Obtained Cestar! Cthooloo gained 12.2 exp! Cthooloo leveled up! Cthooloo became Lv 10 with 4.3 exp leftover! Sneel gained 4.5 exp! |

A lot happened. Yuki was whisked off to fight a giant monstrosity, brought half-way across Alternia Island, and settled down in Meteoric Plains to receive a small electric dragon. Now he was left stranded in the meteoric plains with his Pokemon and an Egg from the battle before. He took out the item he received and also called out Belluom. "Hey girl. I've got a present for you. Its called a Miracle Seed. I don't know how, but its an item that boosts up Grass typed moves." Belluom smiled and nuzzled Yuki as he put it on her. Once Yuki was done with Belluom, he let her rid on top of his head as he walked to Kijutsu. He needed to do a few things. He was allowed to carry nine Pokemon with him while out of his farm thanks to his daycare license and his 2 +1 licenses. With Cestar, Yuki had seven total. He was going to head into Kijutsu, but four Farming licenses, one for each acre he owns back home in Nogou, and then withdraw Santdraclaws and his baby Bagon. Santdraclaws should be able to teleport him back to where they fought, then Yuki can let his Pokemon out and start to work on his farm. So much for him to do, so little time to do everything he wanted. |

Heading out to Kijutsu City are we? Not too far from where you were now which was a bit of luck. Although it would still take a half hour or so, trekking across the boring Alternian Routes, watching trainers and pokemon alike battle and grow. Along the Route you were met with a number of interesting sights, that caught your attention although perhaps not enough to make you actually want to investigate them. The first was two Rattatas, fighting over a Pidgey they wanted to eat. One seemed to have caught it, but the other wanted to share the feast and they were screaming and rolling around trying to claim the prize for their own. The second was the formation of clouds which had taken to weird shapes as the day was beginning to close. Night was slowly creeping up on you, although light was still shining through. A rough guess would have made it about six pm. After much wandering and little else happening you finally reached Kijutsu. Traversing the town, you finally came across the pokemon centre. Entering and heading inside you headed straight to the front desk where you asked to buy four licenses. Exchanging money you were now four acres better. Next you headed to the PC where you withdrew two pokemon. Your baby Bagon and Santraclaws. Both would grow to be powerful pokemon, lucky you. With that all sorted there was nothing left to do, so you Teleported back to Nogou so you could make your way back to your farm. Have fun. Yuki grabbed onto Santdraclaw's arm as tight as he could and held his breath. In the blink of an eye the scenery around him changed in a spinning fashion from the dying yellow of Meteoric Plains, back to the lush green of Nogou. For a short while, Yuki started to feel incredibly sick as his insides felt as if they rotated a full 360 degrees as his body stood still. He and Santdraclaws landed solidly back in a half frozen clearing that Santdraclaws last remembered. The place Yuki caught him. "Ugh...Thanks for the ride, but I think I'll walk the rest of the way home now." Yuki tried to smile and recalled Santdraclaws before making his way back down the path. It took him a little bit longer coming home, not recognizing the area right off hand, but he eventually made his way back to his still freshly bought house. He released Artemis for a bit and she stretched her cotton like wings before flying around. Jade eventually popped out as well and made her way to the top of Yuki's head. Yuki opened the back gate and released Bertha, Loo, Santdraclaws, Duchess, Vice, and Cestar into the back field. "GUYS WE ARE HOME!" Yuki shouted through a set of cupped hands. Umbros was the first to appear from the barn. He wagged his tail excitedly and quickly licked Yuki on the side of the face when Yuki bent down to pet him and ran back into the barn. Yuki chuckled remembering that Umbros was watching over his new baby. Wraith and the others made their way over soon after to meet the new additions. Duchess remembered very few seeing as her hatching wasn't widely known to the team. The rest of the Pokemon greeted Cestar and Santdraclaws as well. Yuki let them all get to know each other a little longer before he disappeared into his house with Artemis and Jade still with him. He set some of the Contents of what he held out onto his kitchen table and started to save some things into his room. Once he had finished organizing the rest of his belongings he grabbed each of the Pokeballs that belonged to his Pokemon and went into the Barn. There he found the machine he wanted. The large computer like machine stood on the western wall, one of few walls in the barn that was completely bricked. He found the user manual and started reading it. He slowly set each of his Pokeballs into the machine and allowed them to be read and registered into the machine as owned. Once he finished installing every last Pokeball, he payed a very short visit to Pikachu and Umbros. Both were sleeping soundly around the egg. It made Yuki smile before he went into a different area and placed his Genbu Egg in the stall. He put some of the straw around the egg to keep it warm and had Magna come up into the stall to watch the egg for him. Magna made sure not to get close enough to set the straw on fire, but not far enough away that his warmth didn't reach the Pokemon Egg. Once he was satisfied with the outcome of the barn, Yuki made his way back outside. He had one more trip to the Pokemon Center that he would have to make later, but first he decided to pay some of his Pokemon a visit. Once he was outside, Yuki whistled for his Pokemon to come to him. Soon all that were available were outside as well. He selected Jester, Wraith, and Loo. "Guys I'm going to have you three help me with something in a bit, but first I need to head into the city, so for now you three will protect the farm. I'm taking Artemis, Jade, Vice, Bertha, Cestar, Ariel, and Santdraclaws. I'm going to need you guys for a while. Duchess, you go play in the barn ok?" The Bagon danced and hopped about while the other Pokemon nodded. Yuki planned on picking up some more Pokemon from his PC, it would take a couple of trips, but he wanted all his Pokemon on his farm before he started expanding on the actual look of his farm. Soon he'd be ready for business. All was falling in very well. Yuki waved to his Pokemon he left behind and started off down the road that lead to Nogou again. (Gunna go for my ToA Spawn now. Genbu should hatch soon too XD) |
