{{Your quote is poorly contexted >>}}

Yuki quietly watched his Pokémon play and eat their meals. Jester seemed to have the healthiest appetite of his entire group. They were in such a tranquil place that Yuki was starting to feel a little uneasy at catching the Pikachu once again. He didn't get to go very far as this time Artemis picked up on his negative thoughts and started to peck at his head until he stopped. Laughing at how Umbros and Artemis seemed to be acting like parents Yuki waved Artemis off his head.

"I'm fine, I'm fine. Just wondering if I made the right choice in catching the Pikachu this time. I know the Zangoose and Rhyhorn were the right choice, they were a danger to the other Pokémon around them, but Pikachu seemed like a danger to herself. Now seeing how peaceful these wild Pokémon seem, I was just wondering if I made the right choice..." Before he could continue both Umbros and Artemis jumped him and started tickling him with wing and paw until he couldn't stop them this time. The other Pokémon watched in amusement, even Loo gave off a chuckle which quickly killed the mood. Loo's laugh was like listening to nails scratch a blackboard eerie. Yuki and the other Pokémon started wide eyed at him until he turned away out of embarrassment. Yuki then started to laugh again.

"Good to see the big guy can show more emotion than just rage and hunger."

Once everyone had finished eating, Yuki brought all the bowls to the little pond while four out of six of his team went play. Magna had been recalled for safety of the woods near by and Loo was napping against a tree. Once all six bowls were cleaned, by hand and just using pond water Yuki would never contaminate clean water with soap, Yuki placed the bowls back into one another and placed them back in his bag. Once he finished packing everything away he whistled for his team to gather around.

"Ok guys, we still have a bit of way to travel. Umbros and Jester, I'm going to continue your training somewhere down the line. Arial I'll continue yours once we get to Nogou." The three of them nodded and Yuki recalled Arial, Jester, and Loo. He was going to travel with Artemis and Umbros out this time but before the left the area, Yuki wanted to do a little hunting on his own. He remembered seeing Miltank on the way in and they produced Moomoo Milk which had healing properties. As a breeder he had to catch one before he made it all the way to Nogou. He remembered reading in the book he borrowed from the Nurse in the Pokémon Center that it was possible to carry more than six Pokémon at a time, but it required you to own a building and a License. He planed on doing both once he got to Nogou. He'd make a temporary Daycare where he can raise a few of his own Pokémon and possibly earn some money raising other people's Pokémon.

He'd also train his Pokémon Part-time as taking on the gym would make him a decent amount of money to help jump start his Zodiac Alliance. All he needed to do was, as mentioned earlier, get a place for him to work in and start a small business. As his first member to his guild he needed to try and monopolize the Breeder industry of Pokémon. At least this way he can help provide for the new members of his Guild. The thought of owning his own Daycare excited him enough that Umbros and Artemis were slightly confused at how fast he changed his moods.

"Artemis, Umbros, we are going search for a specific Pokémon before we continue to Nogou. We need a Miltank before I can do anything as a breeder. She'll be a great asset to our team and a main way for us to make a living." Artemis and Umbros simply nodded as they didn't exactly understand what Yuki meant, but knew that it their trainer was this excited about catching a Pokémon then it must be a good idea. Together with his two Pokémon Yuki started towards where he saw the Miltank in hopes of catching one for his team.

A Miltank? That sounds like something I can help you out with. Truly, a Miltank shouldn't be too hard to find out in this little grassland area. Besides, you are at a nice watering hole. If you want you could just wait around here until one comes around. Granted, that could take a while, but so could running around searching for one. Oh well, it's not my problem, right?

Anyway, you and your two traveling companions took off in search of the elusive bovine of the feminine variety. You three back-tracked your way nearly to the forest and yet, the Miltank and Tauros were gone. Great, that means even more searching. Well, it is only after lunch time, so perhaps they decided to rest out the hot mid-day sun. Well, Artemis decided to glide upward a little bit to see if she could get a glance of them. Umbros did likewise, but tracking them on the ground. Well, in the first few minutes of searching from there, you found Nidoran of both variety, Plusle, Minun, Oddish and a few others thrown in for good measure. However, they still weren't a big pink cow.

You and your two pokemon search party took the better part of an hour before your eye in the sky found something. Apparently, the heard was over around the opposite end of the lake now. Well, that kind of figures, doesn't it? Well a little longer walk and you were close to the heard. Question is: how are you going to be able to single out one member from the rest? As you thought about what could be done, you got a lucky break. A younger Miltank walked over to you, a little unsure of why you were there. Unfortunately, Umbros started growling at the cow, which put her on edge and willing to fight. Some times things happen for a reason and this time, you got a break. Well, good luck with this battle. You just might need it.

And the search is on! Yuki tried back tracking to the woods he passed through the first time round to see if he could spot the herd from the last place he saw them. Umbros and Artemis quietly followed him as he searched for their prospected new member. Umbros and Artemis soon decided to aid their trainer once the first few attempts at finding the herd failed.

None of the three were having any luck with their search and started to head back to the lake they had found, hoping that searching the vast expanses of the fields would make their search easier. This proved to be more effective as Yuki and his group finally found their targets, but they seemed to be on the opposite end. With a heavy sigh, Yuki started around the lake in an attempt to catch up to the grazing herd. He only needed to single out one Miltank so he wouldn’t have to fight the entire herd.

For once luck was on his side. A single Miltank wandered away from the rest of her herd and managed to make her way to Yuki. She was defiantly not a calf so Yuki wouldn’t have to wait for her milk to become drinkable. What did concern him was that she looked a lot stronger than most of his team. Yuki was getting fairly good at distinguishing possible strengths just by looking at wild Pokémon. Umbros, taking a sniff of the air, caught the Miltank’s scent and it set him off. He started to growl and this in turn startled the Miltank into a defensive stance. Well at least this one was a fighter.

“Artemis we’ll start off slow with this one. She seems strong enough to take out half our team on her own. You and Umbros will be fighting alone for a change. Start with Sing and try to lull the Miltank to sleep. Umbros, use Howl to raise your attack and cancel the effects of sing towards you. Artemis, you’d best fly over the Miltank to have a better effect.”

Yuki was setting up his defenses, but knew the offensive part was going to be tricky. The Miltank was stronger, that wasn’t a lie. He knew neither Umbros nor Swablu would last very long with straight attacks. He’ll have to plan carefully and watch the Miltank’s movements for possible weaknesses or traits that may give an advantage over the Miltank. Keeping Artemis out of range would defiantly help, but Umbros would have to rely on speed and agility to dodge the Miltank.

“Umbros wait to see what effect Sing has on Miltank. If she falls asleep, charge in and Tackle, if she manages to break the song Focus on your Speed and concentrate on dodging her attacks. Do not attack her if she remains awake. Artemis if she doesn’t fall asleep Growl at her to lower her attack. If she falls asleep then wait for Umbros to finish his attack and then hit her with Dragon Rush.”

All that was left after issuing the orders was to wait and pray the herd doesn’t decide to go homicidal on him.

Life is not a fairytale and there are no happy endings.
**This isn't going to be the best ref, but im very tired so... Cope with it xD. hopefully it wont be too bad.

You were certainly capable of coming up with some bright idea's and techniques wern't you? Allowing your dark pokemon to defend itself from Swablu's sing with Howl was certainly a bright idea not many people would think of. However, lets see if it works to your plans.

Artemis began to head slightly higher in the air, and directly above the Miltank, whilst Umbros seemed to spread its legs wider as it braced itself ready to Howl. Miltank looked slightly worried as it looked up at Artemis, and kept her eyes switching between both your pokemon, looking slightly more focused on Umbros. Your flying pokemon suddenly began to let a lovely sound out, chirping and twittering away with the power of sing. This was que for Umbros to Howl, which he began straight away, the dark pokemon lifted its head in the air and let out a wolfly howl which drowned itself, keeping him at safety from the sing.

Unfortunately, this also helped Miltank. Miltank was part listening to sing, and part listening to howl, which kept the effects of sing at bay shortly. Knowing full well she had little time to act, she quickly charged towards your Poochyena with a tackle at a slow speed, the sing was taking its toll and making her drowsey by the second. As Umbros realised she was coming for him, he quickly sidestepped out of the way and dodging the oncoming cow with ease. Ofcourse, now Poochyena was vunerable to Artemis' sing. The cow and the puppy glared at each other, before then coming under the influence of sing. Your Swablu stopped its lullaby and looked towards the ground, only to see two pokemon had fallen asleep.

At first the cloud-winged pokemon hesitated as not understanding what had happened, but she quickly realised she still had another job - Dragon rush. The small bird pokemon began to glow a slight purple colour, and darted towards the cow, tackling her with some force. Miltank did not move, but after a few seconds her body quickly came under the same purple aura. She moo'd loudly but it was just in her sleep, she stopped and the purple aura slowly dissapeared.

The battle started fairly well with both Artemis and Umbros using their sound based attacks. Umbros was doing well, though Yuki hoped that with distance the Miltank wouldn't be affected by the howl as well. Sadly he miscalculated and Miltank was only feeling half the effects of sing. Howl was much louder than Yuki thought. The real mistake wasn't made until the Miltank tried to move on the offensive. It was easy to see that the Miltank was feeling the effects of Sing, she was a lot slower than she should have been, but this was still enough to cause Umbros to want to dodge and release his Howl. With Howl gone both fell to sleep immediately.

Yuki ran to Umbros's side and started to pick him up. He wasn't going to recall the dog from the fight just yet. He still had a chance to fight, Yuki just needed to wake the dog up. Yuki stopped halfway; Umbros would want him to help him this way. Instead Yuki started to tap the dog repeatedly. He was trying to wake the dog up as gently as possible. "Come on boy, wake up. We still got a battle to fight. Come on, wakie wakie." Yuki continued to try and wake his Poochyena as Artemis kept her eyes on the enemy Miltank.

Yuki hadn't forgotten he was in battle, his concern for Umbros just won over the fear of getting hit by another Pokemon's attack. Soon his rational thought returned and he slowed his efforts to awaken Umbros. "Artemis, cover me while I try to get Umbros back into battle. Use a Dragon Rush into Peck Combo. The force and power from Dragon Rush should increase your Peck's attack a lot more than a normal attack. Just watch for if it waked. If the Miltank wakes before Umbros try to distract it as much as you can."

It wasn't normal for Yuki to throw himself into harms way, but this was Artemis and Umbros's fight and Yuki was going to see them through this battle.

Wow, so two out of three are asleep, huh? Well, Sing is risky like that at times. Anyway, you tried to revive your sleeping dog as much as you could, but he just wasn't waking up. For that matter, neither was Miltank. Look on the bright side, you get a few easy pot-shots at Miltank.

Swablu started off with a Dragon Rush, which was almost a little unfair for the Miltank. The purpleish aura surrounded her as she flew in and struck true. Miltank moved slightly, but it looked more like she switched positions than anything. Artemis then hovered in front of the cow before delivering a nice Peck to the top of her head. Miltank felt that one and she opened her eyes. Uh oh, mama cow is awake. She quickly stood up and looked around before remembering that she was in a battle, and the Swablu was right in front of her. She attempted to Strike Artemus out of the sky, but missed thanks to a little flight distance. Miltank then Growled in annoyance. It may have decreased both of your Pokemon's attack power, but it caused Umbros to stir. He didn't take quite so long to come around as Miltank did, but he had your help.

Well, the round is over and everyone is awake; a blessing and a curse, some might say. As you thought about your strategy for the next round, something appeared behind you. You turned to look and found a rather powerful Alakazam staring back at you. Scary perhaps? Still, he didn't stick around long before he Teleported away. However, it seems as though he left a motorcycle. Wait, doesn't that look familiar? Then, you heard a distinctive splashing sound and yelling coming from the lake. The voice even sounded familiar. Finally, you saw a figure dressed in black walking out of the lake, drenched. You might know this boy as Sora. A not-so-happy reunion for this dynamic duo, considering one is wet and the other is fighting Big Mama. Well, it's time to get reaquainted.

Yuki relaxed a bit when Umbros finally woke up. It was a bit reassuring that he wouldn't have to withdraw Umbros from this fight, but now he was limited on moves he could use. Sing was a double edged sword and not good for tag battles like these unless he was using a Pokemon immune to sound based attacks. Sadly Yuki had none on him nor would he most likely catch one. The Pokemon with the ability Sound Proof just didn't appeal to him.

Yuki turned to find himself face to face with an Alakazam, but before he could do anything the Alakazam vanished before his eyes. Of course being that close to a Pokemon using Teleport made him slightly dizzy. To Yuki the after image of the Alakazam left enough shock in him that he almost didn't realize there was a motorcycle near him. The loud splash is what finally drew his attention away from where the Psychic type had been.

"S-sora?! What are you? No never mind. We'll catch up in a bit. I need to concentrate on this battle. Can you lend me a hand? Anything will do. We'll talk more once we finish."

Yuki turned back to his team and left Sora to do what he wanted. He just hoped that Sora's arrival didn't cause the other Pokemon to realize he was attacking the Miltank. He really didn't need the herd backing her up now that he was starting to get somewhere in the battle. He just needed to continue the hard and fast pace he was moving.

"Umbros glad you're awake. Now use Intimidate on the Miltank and then Tackle it from any open side. Artemis Growl to lower its attack and then Peck it from behind the neck. We need to find a weak point or create one ourselves. We need to hurry before others decide to join in on the fun."

Yuki wasn't kidding. With Sora now with him again anything could happen. The two have been through some pretty crazy things and the last thing he wanted was for their odd luck to place them against something really strong. He had to make this battle short and sweet so the two can catch up since their last departure early yesterday.

Well, this could have gone..... Somewhat more pleasant. Sora should have known by now that most male Psychic types are royal smart-asses.

After the Alakazam entered the Teleportation, Sora could feel that it and his stuff were going one way, while he himself was being pushed off into another. Coming out of the move, Sora was over a river- the Alakazam and thankfully his bike appeared in a clearing nearby. But.... now there was the whole falling thing... And the cold rushing river below. This will suck, badly.

"DAMN OLD FOX BASTARD!"

Free-falling, Sora splashed down into the water rather loudly. Hitting the bottom, he pushed off against the current, and tried to get to shore as fast as he could. Quickly getting todry ground, he climbed up out of the water, and shook somewhat like a dog. He started wringing his sleaves out as he walked forward, as he was completely drenched. Well, the cloak would dry by itself quickly, as it had done after they got out of the rain of Joukai pass. Walking to where his bike was, Cross floated over to him.

I probably should have told you they planned to drop you in a river, huh?

"That would have been nice........ And you did it on purpose, you bastard."

Oh, you know it. By the way, you'll see someone interesting in a few seconds.

The little iron leg floated back towards the bike, and someone could then be seen near it. By the looks of it, he was in a battle, against a Miltank apparently. On a closer look..... Black hair, black trench coat, a Swablu in the air, and a Poochyena at his feet. No..... Flipping...... Way..... YUKI! Damn, that's a nice suprise. He 'happens' to be teleported right to where his old travel companion had been battling. That, or the Alakazam probbed his mind while they were teleporting.

"S-sora?! What are you? No never mind. We'll catch up in a bit. I need to concentrate on this battle. Can you lend me a hand? Anything will do. We'll talk more once we finish."

"Oh wow, this is odd as hell. I asked for a random location to be sent to, and I get a river, by you no less. Small world, huh...... Well, I'll lend you a hand in a sec, I wanna get some stuff out to dry first."

He ran over to his motorcycle and took his Poketech off carefully. Not knowing if it was waterproof or not, best to be safe... He drapped it on a saddle bag on the back of the bike, and threw his cloak over the seat. Rarely ever taking the damn thing off, it was a wonder what was under there! And it happened to be.....! A plain black shirt. Wow. 'Real kick in the balls there. Other then the pants you could see under the cloak, he had his ball belt around his waste.

Hiding his wallet in one of the bags, he had about everything out to dry, and turned back to see how the battle was progressing.

Hm..... That Miltank is a pretty high level. Win or lose, if Ravage goes into this battle, he'll get a shit-load of exp. Great thing for a newborn to have... But, one hit and he's down. He's 2ft tall.... So, I guess he could sit on my shoulder for a bit. That way he's out of imminent danger. Eh, better do it now, then.

He reached for the last Pokeball on his belt, and tossed it out. The little blue dragon stomped happily, getting it's first battle. Sora scooped it up, and plopped it down on his shoulders.

"Ok then, Ravage! Dragon Pulse that cow twice after Yuki's Pokemon attack!"

DarkMage's Journey

Silas didn't have long to think about it though, for up the road from him he saw two figures and a whole mess of Pokemon. It appeared that they were combatting a Miltank. Silas' smile turned to a grimace. He apparently would never find time just to relax. Silas made a mental note to spend a whole week at the next Pokemon Center he came across. He continually walked towards them. As soon as he was in earshot, he called out to them, his trench coat fluttering in the breeze.

"Need help?"

The battle was certainly a tough one. Miltank was a very powerful opponent, with a level advantage over every Pokemon on the field -- not like Sora's little Level 1 Bagon was much help -- and the advantage was showing. Even the most powerful attacks you could use seemingly slipped right off the female bovine's fatty flanks, and the more powerful attacks you had to use, the more energy that was sapped from your Pokemon. Well, not everything was bad: at least you got to reunite with an old friend, right? Or, not so much of a friend. I can't tell from your interaction whether you hate or love each other. Maybe secret boyfriends? But through your combined might, the mighty bitch could be taken down with style, grace, and a crapload of power!

Silas
The battle taking place in the field was raging. Both of the competitors were being highly contested by the Milk Cow Pokemon, who was giving both the trainers a run for their money. Your call of "Need help?" was drowned out by the growling and whatnot, so that was pretty much a fail on your part. However, it didn't appear that they were doing a great job on their own... Maybe you should try again, and attempt to help them out! But then again... Your newly caught Skorupi and Doduo were completely drained of all their energy, and Ekans and Pinsir were coming straight from a tough battle of their own. Sure, being recalled to their Pokeballs might have healed them a tiny bit, but not enough to go straight into a direct confrontation once more... Your call. Make the right choice, bub.

Snow and Sora
Everything was set, and the next round of the battle was immediately underway. Bagon perched excitedly from its trainer's shoulder, and the seeming bird's eye view it had from way up there (hey, a 6ft tall guy is way high up for the little tyke) only increased it excitement about the battle. And to add on top of all that, it would get a chance to use its new, incredibly powerful move! The baby dragon Pokemon was more than overjoyed at this exhilarating prospect, and began charging up its first Dragon Pulse. The energy pent up within its tiny body caused its wide maw to glow with an unearthly purplish energy, and it spread its powerful young jaws wide to release the attack... and burped. Uh, that didn't go quite according to plan... But let's check on the actual battlers now, hmm?

The combination of Umbros' Intimidate ability and Artemis' Growl was not only inventive, but served its purpose quite well. Miltank would not be doing near as much damage as before, simply because Yuki's two Pokemon had nearly scared the wits out of it. Seeing no other plausible means of defending itself, what else could she do but that which she was most comfortable with? Miltank quickly curled itself into a tight (albeit quite pudgy) ball, raising her defense and preventing the soon-to-be Dragon Bird and pup from finding any weak spot in her fatty armor. Not only that, but -- oh my god, was she really -- good Jesus that's quite disgusting -- she began sucking on her own teat. Crude and out of desperation, yes, but the Milk Drink sufficed very well for HP restoration.

Now you both had a bit of a problem on your hands: Miltank had raised its defense, and restored nearly all of its HP. The Peck and Tackle attacks did only minimal damage, what with both Swablu and Poochyena's attack stats down and Miltank's portly defenses up, so what was there left to do? Besides that, the energy being expended to use so many attacks was obviously beginning to take its toll on your Pokemon.

Sora's little dragon watched the battle with the buzz of combat clouding its head, from its high shoulder perch. It wanted in! And what do you know, the little beastie ended up doing more damage to Miltank with its single Dragon Pulse than both of Yuki's Pokemon together could have. Most likely because the attack was Special, and Miltank had no means to raise its special attack as well. The pulse struck the bovine with a bit of force, and Miltank shuddered from the impact. However the kick from such a small Pokemon using such a big attack was too much for Bagon, and not only did it disburse quite the chunk of energy, but it was knocked from its perch on Sora's shoulder, right in the path of Miltank.

Peeking out from it's clenched ball position, Miltank saw the dragon fall, and began rolling towards it menacingly, picking up speed; it'd probably reach the Bagon before any of the Pokemon or humans had a chance to save it... Time for the next round, and do something quick, before Sora's little dragon is squooshed!

{{Ubros shouldn't have a malus since Growl from a few turns ago canceled out the Howl from the start of battle Also BIG MAMA! Git et right!}}

So far everything was doing fairly well. Even with the level difference, Yuki was fairing well against the Miltank even before Sora had shown. The Defense Curl was an excellent block against Yuki's physical assault and Miltank was in the best position to use Milkdrink. Yuki used this entire battle taking mental notes on how the Miltank reacted and how it moved. He needed this information if he were to raise it properly. Its best to train Pokemon through the ways they naturally learned and slowly move towards your training methods than jumping straight into your own methods.

When Sora pulled out his Bagon Yuki's mid went straight to his own. So they both hatched. That’s great, too bad I don't have Sora's Bagon's Sister on me right now. The family reunion will have to wait. When Yuki returned to the battle he witnessed the Miltank moving ever closer to Sora's Bagon who somehow knocked itself off of Sora.

"Artemis, intercept the Miltank! Focus on your Speed and strike the Miltank on her side as she's rolling with Dragon Rush. Force her off course and protect the Bagon."

Artemis nodded and flew off towards her target. Yuki could hear someone calling off from the distance. Yuki looked around searching for the voice and could see a silhouette of another human off in the distance. "Hey! Be careful we are still near the herd. Attack the Miltank we're fighting if you have any good ranged attacks. I'll handle the close range attacks. Sora, hurry and get your Bagon off the ground. My Bagon will be pissed if I let her brother get squished just after birth."

"Umbros," Yuki returned his attention to his Pokemon. "Use howl again and Tackle the Miltank from behind. We need to find or create a weak spot to focus on. If we have to make one then we will." Yuki sent his Pokemon out and hoped his two new partners could help out if not he'd have to protect them as well as his own Pokemon.

Well, the shoulder thing didn't work too well. Looks like Dragon Pulse has still alot of kick for a newborn. Yuki ordered his Pokemon to tackle the rolling? Miltank now, and seeing as how it was basicly free-rolling, that should knock it out of it's direct line of travel. Dragon Pulse is still Ravage's main line of attacking, so keeping him on his shoulder to blast the attack is out.

Sora bent down picked the Bagon back up onto it's feet. Thankfully, it's hard head protected it from the fall, and it was just slightly shocked by the sudden change in scenery.

"Ok, that was good. No more shoulder, huh? We're going to do Dragon Pulse again, but hit it on a slight angle. Try to hit it so it rolls away from you, alright? Double Dragon Pulse one more time! We have to count on Yuki to get that thing off-course!"

He braced himself against it's back, and waited for it to begin. If the Miltank continued on it's unstable roll, he'd have to quickly snatch the baby dragon off the ground and roll out of the way himself. He was too large to hold like Horsea, so bracing him on the ground would have to do untill his muscles strengthened. Hell, if some Bagon can launch Hydro Pump with no problem, Dragon Pulse should be easy for it in a few levels.

He heard Yuki yell over to someone approaching, and learned of a herd of Miltank nearby. Yeah..... Great. One was hard enough, if 4 - 5 popped up, they'd be in bovine hell.

((OC: fail post is fail, I'm holding the bagon's back so the two Dragon Pulse I ordered it to do don't blast it back again))

Silas frowned at the surmounting terror of the battle unfolding before his eyes. It would appear that one of them sent in a Bagon that couldn't even stand up at its own attacks. It must be extremely young and not accustomed to its own moves. Adding that to the two Pokemon fighting the Miltank, it was a three on one and still not in the bag. The giant pink cow must be quite powerful to be doing so well in this battle. Silas knew the right thing to do would be to simply walk past them and continue on the road to Joukai, but he couldn't help but feel like assisting these two in their time of need. Much like he did when he heard the Berry girl's cries for help, he felt some obligation to give them a hand. It wasn't all cons though. If the Miltank was as powerful as he surmised, then whatever he sent out would gain a lot of experience. Also shutting this cow down fast would mean that the rest of the herd the other trainer spoke of would not be able to respond and assault him. Silas rubbed his chin and approached the group, now being able to see all the Pokemon and trainers clearly. Pinsir, Doduo, and Skorupi were all Pokemon that required close combat for their moves to hit. They weren't exactly fresh and raring to go either. Well, perhaps Pinsir was, but he would be willing to fight if he was on his deathbed. The key strategy here was to get some range in, while the Poochyena and Swablu kept the Miltank distracted at close range. If he was able to snipe at the thing from afar, then the Miltank might not consider his Pokemon to be the real threat as compared to the three Pokemon that were closer to it. All of this added up to one Pokemon, and Silas immediately reached for his belt for Ekans' ball.

"Ekans. Come."

Silas tapped the button and allowed the serpentine Pokemon to appear at his feet. Ekans looked around, almost overwhelmed with the number of combatants ahead of him. The snake much prefered picking on one target, and using his subterfuge and intimidation to weaken the target. Ekans looked up to Silas and spoke in a questioning tone.

"Kanssss?"

Silas' heart was racing. The glory and challenge of the trainer's life was becoming more and more fun with each difficult battle. However, he kept his cool. The gears in his mind were still cranking out an analysis of the next moves, and his voice remained monotone.

"It would appear the only enemy here is the Miltank. The other three are allies. Use your intimidating nature to cripple the Miltank. Afterwards hit it with Leer to unsettle it. Finally, after the others are clear, shoot a Poison Sting at it. However stay here by me. Let the other two Pokemon handle the physical aspect."

Ekans nodded his head, agreeing with his master's orders. Sniping at one of those other Pokemon sounded like a far more enticing option than taking on all four of them head on. It slithered a bit closer as to not lure attacks towards Silas, but far away to not lure the Miltank any closer either.
"Ekans!!"

Silas crossed his arms across his chest and watched the next scene unfold before his eyes.

Life is not a fairytale and there are no happy endings.
Holy crap, wasn't this a sight for sore eyes. Whatever unsuspecting fool walks in on a story like this has got a LOT coming, eh? Oh.. Fuck. Still, I had a good loll'ing session watching the Miltank 'suck on her own treat'.

So now this battle was going to turn into a 4 on 1? Wow, you guys show no mercy huh? In my professional opinion, this Miltank wasn't so tough. I think you all need to man-up a little and get a job done yourself. Either way, I couldn't stop you from being real unfair to BIG MAMA.

So here it was then. A large rolling normal type ready to squash a baby dragon type. Oh the pain that little thing would endure.. Luckily, a fast, swooping bird had darted in to save the day. With a quick and emphatic hit it seemed to divert the Miltank to the left abit. Great job! And how was your Swablu rewarded for its efforts? A late dragon pulse hitting the bird straight on. Ouch. Artemis hit the ground fairly hard, but wasn't as badly hurt as you would expect seeing as the huge level difference. Tough look however, Yuki.

So now it was time for the second part of the attacks in my ref. The Miltank had now slouched onto the ground after missing its original target. The cow got up ready to attack again, this time however seeing another target. As it stared at the Ekans a quick shudder hit the cow and its attack was severely cut. It winced somewhat as it shown how much the snake threatened it. Yet, it couldn't see to avert its gaze. With that, Ekans had now let in a healthy leer attack on it. She moaned and turned around now, feeling frightened about the number of pokemon against it, particularly that Ekans.

With its back turned, Umbros howl'd loudly. This only made the cow cower more. (Huh, get it?) It was now completely defenceless for a, oh, I dont know.. A tackling pooch? The Miltank was now bombarded with several attacks, none doing more damage that Yuki's Poochyena. At first, the Miltank did not move. Poochyena stayed behind it, waiting for some sort of reaction. Before the canine knew it, he was flying off through the air having been hit by the cow's strike. The normal type was now as angry as ever, it took a few stomping steps towards the lot of you before being hit by the final attack - a poison sting from Ekans. As it hit, the cow moaned in pain. She began to cry, now feeling hopeless and completely hated. Awwwh, shame. You, and all of your pokemon stopped to stare at the cow as it cried. Poor thing, you all had that thought of doubt in your mind that maybe you shouldn't be teaming it so heavily... Well, when I say all of you... BAM! The crying cow hit the floor, hit by another dragon pulse. You all turned to see Bagon staring emotionless at its target. Young, reckless and obviously not knowing that the cow was going through a touching moment a second earlier..

**Not the best ref, I agree. I'm kicking myself right now. However, I have just worked a 8 hour shift whilst being ill and I've had to read I dont know how many posts, nevermind how many different people's posts. So if one of you come to complain about me prepare to have your ass kicked.

Overlord of Blowing $hit Up
Alriiiight, now we're getting somewhere. Yuki's Swablu thankfully knocked the cow out of it's direct line of travel... but Ravage accidentaly hit her. Well, not like it'd do monumental damage, anyway. One good thing about the sheer level differences. The Miltank was now down badly in HP, but that situation could change quickly if it recovered with Milk Drink. There was one thing that could probably work.... And if it didn't they'd have to wait out the Miltank's energy while it recharged it's health.

"Yuki, new guy, I have an idea. Have your teams raise their speed with Focus, then blast the Miltank with two of their strongest attacks while it's on the ground still. Yuki, try double Dragon Rushes from Artemis, and Tackles from Umbros, since that's all he can really do. New guy, have your Ekans shoot another two Poison Stings, or anything else you have that's ranged." He turned to his own Pokemon, who had dealt the harsh last attack the other turn.

"Ravage, since your too low for speed to matter much to the cow anyway, fire then another three Dragon Pulses. It may almost exhaust your energy, but if everything goes well, it should be taken out by the group's effort."

The main portion of the idea was Sora's usual battle strategy: Hit hard, and fast. If they can get their stronger attacks in before the Miltank has a chance to try another Milk Drink on itself, that little HP it's surviving with could dissapear. If all goes well.... Ravage gets a whole hell of alot stronger. That Dragon Pulse he carries would be alot more then just a little nick at the opponent's HP during a battle, too. Also, the higher he levels, the less energy he'll probably have to spend blasting the attack. He could become veeeery good, in time. He'd probably be comparible to his mother at the time she was his age.... And that's a nice little thought to keep at the back of one's mind, right?

"Hey, Yuki. You're planning on catching this thing, right? I wouldn't let it use that ball thing again, it might roll out of our reach. Or even to the river from before. That'd suck."

After seeing the hefty amount of damage being launched at the bovine Pokemon, Silas' heart began to slow down to a normal pace. This wasn't going to be NEARLY as challenging as his previous two battles today were. Ekans launched off two free attacks there... and the cow seemed petrified even though it was clearly a higher level than his own serpentine warrior. Silas knew that this battle was going to be in the bag in the next turn or two, considering it was four on one. Even with its level advantage, the Miltank was going to succumb soon. Silas heard the unnamed trainer call the other one Yuki, and heard him make a reference to catching the Miltank. Silas didn't really care, considering he had other Pokemon on the brain including that Snorunt he was searching for. It was a shame that he had to delay that search, but this was an unforseeable altercation. Also, it was a necessary one if the rumors were true and there was a herd of Miltank nearby. Silas had even begun to doubt that... if a herd mentality Pokemon was moaning that loudly then the others of the herd should already have shown up. Silas had begun to conclude that this was indeed a loner Pokemon stuck in a bad situation. Oh well. Silas couldn't argue with the hefty experience that would be heading Ekans' way, so the battle was still worthwhile in the long run. He looked at his two temporary allies and noticed that they both clearly knew each other on a first name basis. They also appeared to be tough. He didn't want to be regarded as ''new guy'' to everyone.

"The name's Silas Redding. Call me Silas."

He kept his arms folded across his chest. The trainer had a point in that it would be good to hit the enemy while it was down, but from what he had seen he was confident that Ekans' natural speed was enough to get it through the battle. Silas considered other options, and concluded that a stronger attack would be most beneficial when dealing with the Miltank's thick layers of fatty armor. Defense, which was his usual monocre when applying Focus, was unneccesary due to the cow Pokemon's obvious fear of his Ekans. Perhaps when combined with the raised Attack the Poison Stings would pierce a bit deeper, maybe even sinking in that deadly venom.

"Ekans. Focus on your attack and blast it with two Poison Stings."

Ekans was already overjoyed his fear-based tactics were going so well. He nodded his head and rushed to obey the commands.

"Ekanssssss!"
