Deciding to train some more before taking on Millenia's gym was a wise decision. You had some strong pokemon, but the water based gym was no easy stroll. The only way it would be a stroll if you had a really tough Electric pokemon, or even a grass pokemon.. Maybe an Electivire? Yeah, it would be a stroll then.. Unfortunately, you don't have an Electivire.. What a Shame. =D

After checking up at how your pokemon were doing back on your land, picking some pokemon up and dropping others off you decided to teleport back to Millenia. Perfect place to train against water typed pokemon, especially at the beach where you were heading.

The sand was soft and the wind coming in from the ocean was cold and tough. It did that annoying thing where it was blowing right down your ear causing an uncomftable noise for you. Looking up, the sky above Millenia was clear, yet out to sea you could see a giant cluster of dark grey clouds heading your way. The waves were crashing against each other and the water looked murky, not its usual diamond blue.

You released your Bagon and Belluom. Not only would a battle be good experience for them, but in theese conditions they could well learn some valuable mental experience of dealing with such terrains and weather.

Your grass type released her sweet scent, primarily aiming it out to sea, although the wind seemed to scatter it around in all directions. You even got a mouthful of it yourself, nice. You began to wait patiently, to see if any pokemon would infact be lured. Suddenly two white horned heads emerged from the water, both of them looking directly at you. They got a real long stare at you, before coming out of the water just a little bit more. Get your chance to attack first!

Yuki waited with his Pokemon for something to show up. When they finally did, he was a bit worried. Seel were capable of using Ice attacks which both of his current Pokemon were weak to. He'd have to try and beat them quickly if he wanted to make sure they stayed healthy enough to train, although the Pokemon Center was close by. The Ice attacks would still cause some heavy damage to Belluom.

He needed to make the battle as easy for his Pokemon as he could without cutting down his experience gain. Belluom had a few support attacks, but Bagon didn't have much of anything to use against the two Seel. She'd have to rely on brute force. Yuki tested the sand by wiggling his foot. It was soft and pretty loose so physical attacks could be cushioned not to mention that starting off at a run would be difficult. The Seel weren't made for battle on land like this either so it would all play out on who had the better attacks.

"Jade start off with Stun Spore to hold down the Seel. Then aim for the stronger one and fire off two volleys of Magical Leaf."

Belluom had more of an advantage against the Seel being a grass type versus them being water types. Miracle seed that was being held by Belluom would increase the damage dealt to them from Magical Leaf, but Yuki didn't know if that would be enough to knock out the stronger Seel.

"Duchess use Leer on the two Seel twice. We'll lower their defenses to ready for your next attack. I want you to wait for Belluom to finish attacking then go after one of them and use Thrash."

Hopefully the defense drop would be enough to tip the scales towards Bagon's favor. Yuki was ready to recall either of his Pokemon should the two Seel prove a little to much for either of them. He couldn't let his Pokemon faint at all. This would be an endurance test for both his Pokemon and himself.

It was true, these two wild pokemon had a potential advantage over both your ice-sensitive pokemon. However, your Belluom obviously had an advantage against them aswell. I guess this battle would come down to whoever was more ruthless with their attacks, or whoever distributed them better.

The male Seel was first to move, senseing the hostility. He fired off an ice shard, slipping quickly through the air and hitting your Belluom. It did some heavy damage, but fortunate for you this basic evolution would not get STAB from such an attack. Belluom moved next, although 'the Seel' didn't really tell her which one to aim for, but she let off the stun spore anyway. The spores were inhaled by female Seel, paralysing her good. This allowed your Bagon to move next, getting off two leer attacks on both Seel.

Taken back by the leers, the male Seel was slow to react this time, allowing Belluom to get off a first magical leaf onto the stronger, male water type. He then retaliated again with another ice shard, before Belluom again retaliated with magical leaf.. Real back and forth stuff, doing excelent damage to each other.

The female Seel either seemed too scared to move, or was too induced by the paralysis. Bagon, took advantage. Thrashing the poor thing about like I don't know what. It again didn't retaliate, which was a lucky break for you. A fairly mixed event of a first round, but it looks like you had edged it.

Belluom's attacks seemed to be fairly effective against the Seel. Yuki didn't anticipate for her attacks to have that much power behind them with the Miracle seed in place, but it was a welcomed surprise. This just meant that if he timed his attacks right they could defeat the two Seel before they did any major damage to his team. One more attack from his Belluom and Yuki should be able to knock out the stronger of the two Seel. Thankfully Belluom's attack was Magical Leaf, there wasn't much chance of it missing let alone hurting her partner.

Duchess was out of Yuki's control thanks to thrash. She'll continue to thrash about against the Seel until she becomes tires from the attack, then the unfortunate side effect will kick in. Teaching her new attacks is going to be a priority after this battle. Yuki was becoming more aware of what his Pokemon's individual weaknesses were with their attacks and moves. He'd have a lot of work ahead of him if he intended to challenge the Millenia Gym.

"Jade, hit the stronger Seel with another round of Magical Leaf. If it faints, support Duchess and attack the weaker Seel with Magical Leaf. Try to dodge any ice attacks that they use. Duchess won't be able to do much other than thrash about. If she slows down and stops, try to defend her."

The stronger Seel spewed more ice directed at Bagon, but Jade, faithfully executing your commands, leapt in front of Bagon to protect it from the dangerously chilly attack. She had wrapped herself in her leaves, but the attack still inflicted heavy damage, since Jade was weak to Ice. Unfurling her leafy wings, she flung glowing crescent-shaped leaves in retaliation. The velocity with which Belluom had hurled them made it impossible for Seel to try to pull itself out of the way by scooching to the side with its paws. Once sliced into by the glowing, fast foliage, the Water-type's muscles all relaxed, and Seel did a face plant, for it had been knocked out!

Landing, Belluom pivoted before Bagon could even move and released more wicked leaves toward the weaker Seel. This one met an end similar to its stronger partner. Belluom's type advantage, speed, and strength proved to be too much to handle when manifested in a leafy boomerang form, and Seel, too, faceplanted. A double knockout! Bagon stopped thrashing about and was incredibly confused. It wasn't the "Oh, I'm going to hurt myself when you need me to use my best move to knock out that one annoying Ghost-type Elite Four member who use Confuse Ray on me" kind of confusion, but for having battled so much, it had not even a scratch on it.

What now, Trainer?

Yuki wiped the sweat from his forhead. He was a bit worried about his team due to type match up, but everything fared really well for him. As both seel lay unconcious on the sand, Yuki checked their information out as well as any trade information for people wanting a Seel. He managed to find a taker that was looking for a Seel around the area of the ones he just fought.

Yuki reached into his bag and pulled out a spare Pokeball tossing it at the weaker of the two Seel. It was the better choice to trade as they wanted a moderatly low leveled one. He'd have to wait for the Pokeball to stop before he could do anything else, but he wanted his Pokemon to stay alert. He looked around, both Duchess and Jade were still in battle mode looking around them for other opponents to fight.

As soon as the Pokeball finished, Yuki was going to go back to the Pokemon Center to heal Duchess and Jade for a bit before they came back for more training against Water Typed Pokemon. His team was almost to a good stopping point for tutoring, but he wanted to make sure he trained them enough. The Gyms weren't a laughing matter.

After helping to fell Deimos, that great leviathan, these two Pokemon were rather boring to battle. The weaker Seel submitted itself to a Pokeball without a fight; the red light flashed, and a ding registered immediately without any shaking or shuddering necessary. It was now yours for the trading! Duchess and Jade perceived no immediate threats, so you recalled them for a well-deserved reprieve after a hard-fought battle.
-----------------------------
At the Pokemon Center, it seems your triumph had not gone unnoticed by Nurse Joy and the staff on-hand. Presenting you with your Pokemon, she thanked and congratulated you on your victory in Joukai Pass. She informed you that they had treated your Avicle with an extra dose of care as commendation for its instrumental role in the incident and wished you well in your endeavor to take down another Gym!
-----------------------------
As you stepped back onto the beaches on the outskirts of Millenia, you were greeted by a gang of angry crabs! A Corphish with larger, more pronounced spikes with two weaker-looking Krabby snapped at you with their claws, provoking to a fight! Get ready, Trainer!!

Yuki's head was spinning from how fast everything seemed to happen. He just wanted to get some rest for his Pokemon and ended up dragged into an all out war between two world or so it seemed. With all said and done, there wasn't much to do other than sit down and enjoy his spoils of war, though that really wasn't in Yuki's character. He took a moment to polietly accept the praise he was getting from the nurses. He wasn't the only one involved, but it was rude not to accept even if he didn't feel all that deserving.

With all that out of the way, Yuki returned to the beach. He had planned on trying to teach a few moves to his Pokemon, but when he returned, he noticed a few crustacean Pokemon had moved onto the beach and didn't seem to like the fact that Yuki was on their turf. Yuki didn't know if his Pokemon were ready for this, but he set out Belluom and Bagon to fight against the three crabs.

"Jade, start off with Stun Spore and try to hit all three with one shot. The use Magical Leaf on the Corphish. Duchess, use two leers and stay back for now. If they use any ranged attacks, both of you try to dodge as best you can.

John woke up from another nap. It had been a while since Yuki's surprise visit, and now he had finally had some decent resting time. He found a small note left for him on the door and figured Yuki had left it. It only had one thing on it requesting him to tutor the Pikachu that Yuki had. It needed to learn two moves before Yuki was ready to open it to trading. The two seemed okay.

John went out to check on Yuki's Eggs and Pokemon first. Most of the Pokemon could be seen napping in the sunlight in various parts of the farm. The pond seemed to be getting filled up fairly fast and Yuki's Cthooloo seemed to be resting inside it. They were mostly tired John didn't blame them.

He went into the barn and checked on Vozelle, Stantler, and their egg. It was sitting up against its mother who was nestled up against Stantler. The two Eggs Yuki dropped off were safe and sound with Slugma in the Incubation room. Well all that was left was to do what the note said.

John went outside and found Umbros and Pikachu resting with their baby Pichu near one of the outer walls of the barn. Umbros was the first to be aware of John and looked up waking Pikachu but not Pichu.

"Just the girl I wanted to see." John bent down to pet Umbros and Pikachu.

"Yuki wants you to learn a few attacks so I'm gunna have to help teach you them. We'll start off small ok?"

Pikachu looked up a little nervously but after being nudged by Umbros she figured it would be ok. She followed John a little bit away from Umbros and her baby.

"OK this first one is called Charge. Its really simple. You build up electrical energy in your body so that when you next release your attack it doubles in strength. We'll start off small. You can use Electric attacks already so you know how to build a charge. Start as if you were using Thunder Shock, but hold the charge in. Don't release the charge. Let it build up and then aim out into the field and release a Thunder Shock after charging up."

The three crabs eyed you with vehemence as you trepassed on their territory as though you were doing nothing
wrong. To make matters worse, you summoned two of your companions and the words that broke past your lips
were not what Corphish and his lackeys had been wanting to hear. Clearly, you weren't about to apologize for being
on their turf and had decided to ATTACK them! Corphish clicked his pincers together, agitated, and his two Krabby
'bros' fell into line behind him. Fair enough, if it was a battle you were after, Corphish and pals would be sure to
give you it!

Corphish was the first to move. A steam of Bubbles drifted from his mouth, splattering against the bodies of your two
girls quite audibly. Jade looked a little perplexed at the weak Bubble that had just smattered her form. The attack did
a little more damage to Duchess, but wasn't really anything she couldn't deal with in the early stages of this battle.

Jade moved next, shaking her leaves and forcing the paralyzing spores to drift exactly where she wanted them to. The
spores scattered over the trio of crabs (though I'm certain Corphish is more of a lobster... type thing, but I digress!)
inflicting all three with the status effect. Good, you were certainly going to need that advantage to win two versus
three with these level differences! Well, to win without taking a beating, at least.

The first of the two Krabby tried to move, but found his limbs immediately locked by Jade's Stun Spore and after a brief
moment of trying to struggle against it, gave it up and ground his jaw irritably at his inability to attack. That meant
Duchess was able to sneak her attack in before the second Krabby. Her eyes narrowed, Leering at the three red water
types. All three's eyes widened in fear as their defense dropped slightly, leaving them more open to attacks. The
second Krabby was able to move, his shell glinting under the light of the sun as he focused and Hardened his
carapace to negate the effect of Duchess' Leer.

On the next movement, Jade was able to move first, taking full advantage of the Speed drop effect on the water type
Pokémon from her Stun Spore. Her Magical Leaf hovered in the air for a brief second - coloured leaves glittered like
shards of broken glass in the sunlight and their edges just as deadly - before the attack was let loose at the Corphish.
The attack struck true, battering Corphish in the face brutally, her Miracle Seed boosting the attack nicely. It wasn't
enough to knock it out, naturally, but the mixture of leaves smashing his face and the Paralysis that wracked his body
was enough to cause Corphish's body to lock up as he tried to make a move to Vicegrip your Belluom.

Duchess pulled off another successful Leer, lowering the defenses of the three once more. The first Krabby retaliated
which his own Leer, but that didn't really matter. I'm sure Jade and Duchess can shrug through one defense drop
as though it was nothing. The second Krabby sent up a splurge of mud in the form of a Mud Sport almost as though
the trio feared electric attacks. Not that you have any... but they don't know that, do they?

Well, that round could have gone a hell of a lot worse for you! Time to lay the smack down, I say. Get rid of one of them
so they lose the massive advantage in numbers!

The little Pikachu stared up at John, trying to understand what the orders had been. They were learning TWO new
attacks today? This was the first, however, and certainly didn't SOUND too difficult. After a moment of calming her
mind, Pikachu moved away from John a little way to ensure that he wasn't hit should things go wrong. She sat on her
haunches, staring out at where John had indicated she should aim her Thundershock. Breathing deeply, she began.

Firstly, she concentrated on drawing the power for her Thundershock, but instead of releasing it immediately, she
allowed it to build little by little until she felt as though she could no longer hold it. Her body emitted sparks as she
tried to control the erratic energy known as Electricity, her mind locked on that one task. After a moment, the
Thundershock burst from her a little off target but definitely stronger than a standard Thundershock would have been.
There was a streak of shocking blue amongst the electrical energy, signifying that her first attempt at Charge had
actually been pretty damn good.

Perhaps now she should focus on charging and holding the energy once more... but try and bring in the added effect
of the move? That Special Defense buff will possibly be the hardest part of the move for her, but she was definitely
off to a fantastic start!

(I know my levels changed, but I don't know if they qualify for the current battle. I'm going to assume that since I started the battle at Level 18 with my belluom, she's still level 18.)

{Millenia}

The battle started off very well. Yuki's team had the advantage so far, all that they had to do now was keep the advantage. Duchess had no moves that could really do any sort of damage to the crustacean trio that didn't require her to get up close and personal. That wouldn't do for now. Jade didn't have any decent ranged physical attacks yet either. Leer was going to have to do on Duchess until she weakens the two Krabby enough to get in close.

"Jade, use two Magical Leaves on the Corphish. He's the primary target right now. Duchess, you stay back and continue to use Leer. Knock them down another two levels by using it twice."

Yuki's Poketech started to beep. He looked at it and it was a message from John. He had started to train Pikachu Charge and then farm was fairing pretty good. Yuki was a little surprised that John was going to do a few tutors he had intended to do, but he didn't really see any reason to complain. He'd have to remember this when it came time to pay John.

{Farm}

John put his hand to his face as he watched Pikachu's progress. It was small but a really good start. Pikachu was able to hold the attack off until a decent discharge, but it didn't seem to be complete yet. What was he missing? Pulling out a small notebook, he flipped through the pages until he got to the one he was looking for.

'Charge, Electric type attack that stores energy within the Pokemon until it is released with the next electric type attack used. While storing the energy the Pokemon's Special Defense is also raised.'

"Oh so that's what's wrong." John exclaimed calling the attention of Pikachu and a few other Pokemon. "Ok Pikachu. You did really well. We're going to do the same thing again, but this time you'll need to focus on raising your special defense while you charge the electricity. The way charge works, as you build up extra electricity in your body, you also make your body more resistant to other special attacks. So while charging, focus the energy you collect through your body, making it more resilient. You need to raise your Special defense while holding the energy inside of you. When you feel the build up is too much release both the stored electricity you build up, and the energy you used to raise your Special Defense."

Other Pokemon had started to come and watch, either waking from their naps or not having anything else to do and were bored. Two of them in the front were Yuki's Poochyena and Trapinch. They both seemed pretty eager for some reason and looked as if they were waiting on orders as well. John took his Poketech and looked over their information.

"So you two want to finish off the attacks Yuki had started with you as well huh?"

Umbros and Jester both nodded. Jester was close to finishing Dig while Umbros still had a way to go before he finished Iron Tail. Neither seemed very easy, but the general idea wasn't complicated either. John though over what the two could do.

"Ok. Jester, you almost have dig done so lets see. Try using dig and come up right before you get to me. Just trot over about twenty feet away and try to dig your way to me. I'll tap my foot on the ground so you have something to try and look for, but remember you need to come out right in front of me."

Jester nodded and trotted away from John. This was similar to what Yuki had him do before. He knew a little of what he needed to do.

"Umbros, you'll need to focus your strength into your tail and fortify it. Make it as hard as steel as you can and the swing it at the ground. Iron Tail can be used to lower your opponent's defenses with its power so you'll need to make it strong enough to cause a small dent like crater to appear when you hit the ground. If we had a Pokemon that could take the hit easily I'd have you practice it on them, but I don't and don't think Yuki would like me using his Pokemon to test your attacks."

John looked to the Poochyena. His attack was much harder to think of, but he thinks he got the basics down. He just wondered if the Poochyena can pull the attack off.

Well, time to keep this battle moving if you ask me. Corphish made to move first, yet instead of clamping his pincers around either of your gals, his body refused to move and he winced at the surge of static energy that coursed through him, causing his limbs to go completely rigid in shock. Jade used that moment to fire off a vicious array of Magical Leaves, striking the Corphish all over his body. Duchess Leered then, managing to catch all three in the cross fire and lowering their defense once more. The first Krabby managed to fire off a bubble which entirely missed Duchess, but struck Jade for minimal damage. The second Krabby used a Leer, lowering your defenses another stage. But don't worry, I'm still confident you can handle this!

Corphish pushed away his paralysis long enough to clamp a vicegrip on Jade, crushing her in the large appendage before letting her drop to the ground. Not one to just take a hit and leave her opponent unpunished, Jade fired off another Magical Leaf that was stronger than her previous, causing the large lobster to stagger and crack his head on a small rock jutting from the sand. Once more, Duchess let out an intimidating Leer, forcing the crustaceans to lose even more defense against physical attacks. Both Krabbys found their limbs locked and unable to attack.

Well, seems luck favored you pretty hard this round. May want to try to hurry up and finish off the strong one, however. If he lands any more of those vicegrips, things could turn ugly!

+ Yuki's Farm +

Back at the farm, Pikachu listened to her new tutoring commands, nodding soberly. The other two who had appeared, eager and raring to go also listening intently as John issued his orders, before all three moved away from each other, ready to begin.

~ Charge; 100% Mastered! :pikachu
Pikachu was up first. She had made very good progress on her first attempt but had been lacking that vital element to truly perfect the attack. This time, however, she knew exactly what she needed to focus on in order to master Charge. This time, Pikachu closed her eyes and scrunched her fists in to her chest. Her body curled over slightly as the electricity surge began to build up, her body enveloped in a snapping and crackling armor casing of electricity. She fought hard to keep the energy steady whilst pulling some of it away to coat her body in a more defensive manner. She focused on raising her special defense whilst doing so, the thin sheen of sparky power coating her like a tight-fighting suit.

She certainly felt empowered, and she prepared herself for the incoming electrical release. In a blinding flash of electricity, she fired of a Thunder Shock, being careful to aim for some where not populated by pokémon. The Thunder Shock had a bright blue element to it, signifying how it was at least twice as powerful as the little Pikachu's standard. Not to mention, her body glinted for a split second as her Special Defense rose as a sort of aftermath of the Charge attack. Congratulations! Pika-Power!

~ Dig; 90% Mastered! :trapinch

Jester was up next and he pottered away a good twenty feet as requested before taking a breath. He needed to focus. His hearing tried to tune into the rhythmic tapping of John's foot on the ground before he took another breath and began burrowing into the dirt. Once he was through the first layer of earth, he tried to keep his concentration focused on that tapping, trying to use it as some sort of echolocation to guide him towards the Farm Aide. He dug deeper before curving to burrow directly towards the tapping, and then curving around once more to bring himself up towards the surface.

He broke through the earth, popping out and looking around to see how close he had gotten to you. Well... he wasn't FAR off... He was a few feet away... Seems he just needs to tweak his precision on the attack and then he'll have it mastered! Once more should do it, if my guess is anything to go by. Good Luck!

~ Iron Tail; 60% Mastered! :poochyena

It had been a long time since Umbros has tried this move, but he still remembered every thing he had been taught up to that point. He was decently along in the learning curve, but now it was time to perfect it through plenty of practice. After moving away from John, he turned to present his back end to the Farmhand so he could better see the progress the little dark canine made.

He slapped his tail to the ground a few times to test before focusing on what he had been told. Concentrating with all his might, he slammed it back into the ground, taking a pause between each bash to attempt to make the appendage stronger and more resilient. After the fourth slam, his tail seemed the shimmer under the light, a definitive glint to it as he continued to periodically force his tail to strike the ground. It was definitely getting there. Might need a couple more attempts to fully harness the steel power and to control rather than it just building as he slams his tail. After all, he wouldn't have time to build it up in battle!

Just a little more!

MOD NOTE: Yeah, we can just do the EXP at the end, adding it onto her current.

Sand shifted under Yuki's shoes as he fidgeted around. The battle wasn't bad, in fact it was going extremely well. It was just taking way too long. He knew that the level gap between his Pokemon and the Corphish added with the fact that his Bagon had no long ranged moves to use, was drawing this battle out longer than it probably should have. The experience they'll both gain will be amazing, which is the only saving grace at the moment.

All three of the opponents were paralyzed and weakened defensively, but Yuki still couldn't risk a close range attack yet. There was one thing that Yuki could do. He had been holding out on using it because he didn't know if he'd get more Pokemon capable of learning the attack, but now was a pretty good time to use the Dragon Claw TM.

"Jade keep them busy. Fire a Magical Leaf at the Corphish. If it doesn't faint then use another on it. If it managed to faint, then fire a Magical leaf at both the remaining Krabby. Duchess pull back a bit."

Yuki pulled his pack over to his front and started to dig through it. He fished out the small disc item and put it into his Poketech.

"Going to give you a new attack to use. Becareful while using it as you have to get in close. Those Krabby aren't going to go easy on you."

Yuki loaded the Dragon Claw attack into Duchess and readied her for battle.

"Duchess, if Belluom attacks either of the Krabby after KOing the Corphish, you attack the one she did. Get right in its face and give it a Dragon Claw. If you don't knock it out, hit it with another and if you can try to send it into the other Krabby. If you do manage to knock it out, then attack the second Krabby with two Dragon Claws."

Once Yuki had set his team up properly, he heard a beeping come from his Poketech. He checked out what the message was and found he had one a couple of lotteries that needed claiming. He accepted all four of them.

{Farm}

Pikachu mastered Charge, while Jester and Umbros were close to finishing. John was surprised at how hard the three wanted to work. Watching Pikachu made Umbros' chest swell up as he was quite happy with her. She looked over and blushed a little. Umbros couldn't be left behind after watching Pikachu and Jester get so far ahead.

"Good work everyone. Jester try one more time. You pretty much have it. Umbros, keep up the exercise until you feel as if you have a good grasp of how to harden your tail. Once you do we'll try a different way to use the attack. Once you feel comfortable using it, I want you to jump into the air and flip so that your tail is being slammed downward. Imagine that you are slamming your tail into an opponent in battle and force it to harden. Your tail basically becomes a club to bash over your opponent's head. Once you master it that way, the attack should be easy enough for you to use in any type of swinging attack."

John cheered on his employer's Pokemon. All that was left was to try the impossible and teach Pikachu Wish.

John looked at Pikachu.

"Girl, this next one is going to be hard. I don't want you to get discouraged, but its going to take a lot more effort to learn than Charge was. This move is called Wish. Its a healing move that has a bit of a delay. According to what studies have been done with it you search for a shooting star and make a wish on it for health, though I don't know how we are to do that. Shooting stars are extremely rare so there has to be more to the attack than that."

John gave the little Pikachu a reassuring scritch under her chin.

"Here is what we are going to do. We'll pretend you see a shooting star for now. Look up at the sky and imagine a star racing across the sky. The sight is a magical one, full of hope. Make a wish, put all your energy into that wish. Your wish? You wish for good tidings in your battle. For you to be able to carry on in the battle when all is lost. Let the energy build up and release it as you make your wish. Then we'll have to wait and see if it comes true."

John gave her a quick and gentle pat on her head and left her to her work.

My my! Someone with as much going on as I do! Well, lets take things one step at a time. First up, combat!

You've booted up the Dragon Claw TM to teach Duchess. Her eyes locked on the screen and they were intently focused on the subject. As she watched, the TM disintegrated, and her hands began glowing with draconian power.

While Duchess learned Dragon Claw, Jade shook her head, launching the Magic Leaf attack. The rainbow hued leaves arced through the air, and struck Corphish in the face. The attack was strong, but just not enough to put the shellfish out.

The seafood buffet team was up next! Krabby 1 clacked his claws, just to be paralyzed in his tracks. Corphish fought through his disabilities, and delivered a powerful Vicegrip assault on Jade! Then followed Krabby 2, who suffered the same fate as his brother.

Duchess was ready to fight now! She ran in, claws glowing, and knocked out the Corphish in one blow. This left Jade attacking Krabby 1 with another multi-hued Magical Leaf attack. The attack was super-effective, dealing big damage!

The Krabbies weren't going to stand for this, and they advanced on Jade. Each Krabby almost made it to Jade, and froze with their claws up! Paralysis... NO! It was a psych out! As Jade relaxed, both Krabbies struck from each side! Ouch, that was almost enough to put Jade out!

You'd made your three attack orders, and it was time to follow through. Once again, Jade fired off Magical Leaves, and right behind them, Duchess landed the finishing move Dragon Claw. That left one Krabby shaking in his boots! The crab turned, trying to make a break for the sea! It was hampered in its attempt by the Paralysis!

Good luck in the battle!

WISH 10% :pikachu
Wish was possibly the hardest move Pikachu could learn. It was an egg move, so that's hard. Pikachus don't learn any healing moves, so there's nothing to base it on. And, on top of that, the best description of the move is that you make a wish. That's not really a lot to work off of. But, Pikachu was going to give it her best shot. She squeezed her little black eyes shut, and held her hands together... And nothing happened.

~ DIG learned! :trapinch

Jester got it! He got it! He burrowed down into the ground, went a distance, then -POP- he was on target! Not really a lot more needed there.

~ Iron Tail; 70% Mastered! :poochyena

Umbros was the last up. The dog smacked the ground with his tail until he thought it was stiff enough. Then he tried rolling forward, using the tail to smack the ground. It wasn't graceful, but it was a start. A few more tries, and he'll have it.

Good luck tutor!
