( this is a joint journey of Ryua and Doragon, just so everyone knows ) As you stepped onto the streets of Nogou Village, you could feel a fresh breeze lightly wrap around your ankles and cool you. Nogou Village is one of the region's principle cities because of its economic purpose in Alternia. The village of Nogou was the top producer of food for the region. So basically you made a good choice in selecting your city; lets just try not to get you into any trouble while your here. It was a wonderous day to start a Journey. The sky was clear and not a thing could go wrong. It was although the world was at peace and nothing wrong could ever happen. Otherwise a perfect time to start a Journey. Anyway, there are many things that you can do here. Go to the park, look for a job, you could even look for pokemon that inhabit urban areas. Though, some pokemon like Grimer aren't always nice to have around. However, there are plenty of other things to do as well including finding another pokemon trainer and battling him or her for glory, honor, and the right to rub it in their face if your opponent loses. Remember though, battling is just as much physical as it it mental. Fair warning if you choose the path of the warmongerer. In fact look over there I see a Charmander (doragon ) coming towards you. It looked ready for a fight and was probably coming towards you because of that reason. Wanna take this thing on? Level 5

Doragon was pretty beat up but for the most part he was still good to go though a trip to the pokemon center or a potion wouldn't hurt he was hurt but he refused to return to the pokeball he was proud enough to want to walk around and about on his own even if he did look a little beat up he had won and that was what mattered in the long run. "Char Char" Doragon said 'Fine but tired' as he sighed heavily he was good for a bit but he doubted another battle would do him any good right now. |

The store clerk shook her head. "A few items were stolen, but nothing important thank Arceus." Thank Arceus? That's pretty extreme for the situation, wouldn't you say? I mean, it's not like they carry TMs or Evolution Items. Or do they? No, they don't. Well, the store clerk thanked you again then left to go back inside. She was probably going over what needs to be restocked and such. The store was currently closed due to the robbery, so there's nothing really of interest here. The rest of the town was a sparkling jewel. The trees, the clear skies, everything was so peaceful. You two were enjoying the sights of the town and the town was enjoying you two. That is to say everyone was friendly, smiling as you passed by. There were a few pokemon battles going on, but nothing too serious. Just friendly rivalries and small skirmishes, nothing like what you were involved in before. The sights of all the pokemon battles were pretty exciting. But your pokemon were still wounded and tired from that last battle. Maybe you should head to the Pokemon Centre over there. Suddenly, out of the bushes came two wild pokemon! A Hoothoot and a Natu were fighting! They were really going at each other. You could intervene, maybe catch them, or you could just go to the Pokemon Centre and get your pokemon healed. They looked pretty strong, so maybe it would be best to just avoid them. Then again two strong birds could be valuable allies. Level 12 Level 11

The thought of another Pokemon battle was cool... but even though little Chi would have the type advantage... there was no way she should take on a pair of Pokemon, each one twice her level. Although she watched for a moment, she let them be, and kept walking. Chi wasn't exactly thrilled with this, but even she could see a fight where she'd be overmatched. Rather than risk getting all of her Pokemon totally knocked out, Ryua kept walking. They weren't making a very quick pace, of course, but it was a plesant day, and she was willing to let Doragon keep his pride. The Pokemon Centre soon came into view, and she sighed with relief at seeing it, without having had any more major mishaps on the way. It would be good to get Doragon and Boba healed back up to full fighting strength. Before she decided to enter the Pokemon Centre, she decided it'd be a good idea to see what was inside the Pokeball the shopkeeper had given her. "Alright, whoever you are. Come out and let's take a look at you!" She dropped the Pokeball gently on the ground, opening it. Edited by Ryua, Apr 19 2009, 09:31 PM.

Doragon snorted when the two pokemon on the path ahead decided to pop out and bassicly flaunt in front of him when he was not up to fighting condition he was quiet angry... quiet angry indeed... but he knew better than to act on his anger he was in no mood right now to fight he had escaped becoming poisoned so he knew that he had been lucky in that last fight he was tired and he ached so he figured his best bet right now would be to follow Ryua his trainer to the pokemon center but oh just wait if they where still there when they were done at the center Doragon would teach them a thing or two about battling in the middle of the road... oh yes he would... |

Well, skipping over the two battling Pokemon might be the better decision as of now. Getting to the Pokemon Center was more important at this time. Your Pokemon were tired from the previous battle they were in. Luckily for you, you had won and had gained a new Pokeball from the shop keeper. As of right now, you still had no idea what was inside, but you were soon going to find out. Hopefully it was something you wanted, right? As you approached the center, you had decided to give the Pokemon stuck in that little orb a little freedom, eh? Plus, seeing what your new addition to the team was, always a great plus. You tapped the button and opened up the ball, releasing the red aura onto the ground. As you could see, the beam of light began to show a Pokemon figure. Suddenly, the Pokemon shook off the excess sparkles and you saw, standing before you, a brand new Buizel. The water type sea weasel. Aww, how cute was that? Awfully cute if you ask me. Suddenly, you noticed a man coming out of the Pokemon Center. He either didn't see you, or he was completely oblivious to the world around, because he ran into you, and it was hard. It was as if he were running. But, what could it be for? "Ugh, move! I'm busy and need to get somewhere right away. Leave me alone or I'll make you leave me alone by force." he said, turning around, mumbling little nothings under his breath, clenching his fist, and then walking quickly away. What was his problem? He stumbles into you, then insults you, telling you he's 'busy'. What a jerk. Obviously, you need to take care of something. Whether that be this man or taking care of the new found Pokemon, you had something you needed to do. So, what shall it be? The new Buizel seemed rather confused at where he was. But other than that, he seemed okay with the circumstances. He did look rather hungry however. He seemed like he wanted something to eat. So, Pokemon Center, or taking care of this bully? Maybe, if you hurried to heal up your Pokemon, you could do both. Catch up to this jerk who had pushed you, then see what his deal was. Maybe there would be something in it for you, like experience? Or even some undiscovered treasure! (Well, I have no idea honestly, except for the fact that you seem to be in a plot if you follow the guy, other than that, I guess you're on your own.) |

(Huh. Could'a sworn I posted this already...) Ryua grinned, kneeling down delightedly. "A Buizel! You're a cutie, aren't you?" she said, peering at the quick-looking little weasel. A Water Pokemon would be an excellent addition to her team, she was quite well rounded now! "My name is Ryua, this is Chi, and Doragon," she said, indicating both of her still conscious Pokemon. She was about to say something else when she was bowled over by that man. "Hey, watch where you're going!" she snapped when Chi let out a distressed squeal and almost fell off her head. She glared after the man. It was INCREDIBLY tempting to go chasing after him... but her Pokemon had to come first. And Doragon was fading fast, and Boba was right out of it. Hopefully she could move fast enough to get it taken care of... "Chi! Could you stand out here, and keep an eye on which direction he goes, for me?" she asked. Chi chirruped an affirmative, and Ryua scooped up Doragon, heading into the Centre. "Dora, if we do this quickly enough, we can get after that guy, and find out what his problem is!" Hopefully, the Pokemon Center would be able to heal up her Pokemon nice and quick, and they could go after the rude man who'd stumbled right over her. (Doragon, feel free to request a ref when you post, just say that we're still on Shockwave's plot) |

Doragon grunted a brief hello to the new pokemon but otherwise leftg it at that he was feeling very tired suddenly. As the rude man bumped into Ryua Doragon let loose a very brief and small bit of fire at the mans heel as he hurried off but that was all he could manage at the time. As Ryua scopped him up Doragon struggled briefly in vain he did not like being carried even if it was by his new 'trainer' he did not like the idea in the least but he was to weak at this point to argue. |

(If I'm not allowed to just assume that I got healed, please tell me and I'll change my post.) The nurse was as competent and careful as always, and Doragon and Boba were both quickly ready to go. Ryua used the couple moments to check on the eggs she was carrying in her backpack, making sure they hadn't been damaged and were still warm enough. They seemed fine, still safely cocooned inside some extra clothing. She clipped Boba's Pokeball to her belt, and let Doragon run at her side again, knowing he wasn't exactly thrilled with being carried. "Alright, Doragon, let's go get that guy!" She headed quickly out of the Pokemon Centre, meeting up with the overly excited Chi. "Which way did he go, girl?" she asked, kneeling beside the tiny, giddy mouse. Chi let out a stream of Pichu babble, which Ryua couldn't understand but Doragon probably could, and waved her teeny arms off in one direction, pointing towards an alley. She scooped Chi up and deposited her on her head again, where Chi could tug on her hair to pull her in one direction or other. "Doragon, you can help track him, right? Between you and Chi, I bet we can catch up to him in no time!" Well, that was her hope, anyway. And with her new spread of Pokemon, she felt sure she could have a decent match against whatever he'd throw out at her. At least, she hoped she would. |

Doragon grinned as he sniffed at the air he hadn't even understood a single word the pichu had said because quiet simply... it had talked to fast. Luckily he understood where Pichu had pointed and he hurried off overthere. One day he would be able to fly over citys like this looking for people but that day was far from close and he new it but eventually he would not have any touble tracking down people. Eventually Doragon managed to pick up a familiar smell though he had been extremely tired before he now knew that nearby somewhere was the person that had been rude or the trail of said person. |

((I'll just say in this ref that you were healed. Makes me feel special the longer the ref.)) You entered the Pokemon Center with your friends at the ready. Nurse Joy turned to you, a bright smile on her face. She gladly accepted your Pokemon, setting them in the machine. The giant piece of technology whirred and made buzzing noises, then went silent. A green light lit up and a bell clicked, making it official that you were healed up. The nurse noticed that you seemed a little antsy, so she quickly handed you your Pokemon back. After giving the eggs a nice once-over, it was time to head out for the ruiner of peace! Chi the Pichu saw where the person was running, and tugged on your hair as this trio of a person and two Pokemon were running after him. You* led the way, being able to catch the scent of the man. The air smelled of cheap flowers that one would buy with a dollar fifty, yet purchase a whole boquet of thirty. Anyway, the trainer followed the Pokemon, who was following a man that smelled like plastic roses. Applause, applause for you two. As you came to the edge of the town, the person was resting against a tree. They were trying to regain there breath, taking their breathing back under control. You started to slowly walk towards the person, trying not to spook them into doing something irrational. You took one last step, and what do you know? You stepped on a small branch. It was larger than a stick, but smaller than tree, so it must've been a branch. "Stop! Now!" the androgynous person shouted. Their voice was clouded by a sick scratching sound. I think it's safe to assume either this person smoked heavy ciggarettes or they were sick. They tossed a Poke Ball out, and as it landed, the ball erupted into a ray of light. Standing in the position was now a Lotad. Seems as though Androgynous Pat wants to battle. Will you take this guy/gal up on their offer? Enemy Pokemon: Level 8 ![]() 41/41 100%* means Doragon |

Ryua frowned when the Lotad was sent out. "I just wanted to know why you ran headlong into us, then left. You could have hurt Doragon or Chi, and I don't like when people give my Pokemon trouble." Chi was positively vibrating with excitement at the sight of an opponent Pokemon, and nearly fell off Ryua's head. The trainer grabbed her first, to keep her from launching herself immedinately into the fight and getting killed by some ridiculously strong attack or something. That was a tough looking Lotad, probably in better shape than it's trainer... not that that would take much, going by appearances. Not quite wincing at the mild static shock that went through her fingers the more excited Chi got, Ryua knelt down, setting her on the ground. "If you want a fight, I'm sure we could oblige you, but..." With both Chi and Doragon out of their Pokeballs, she was ready for an attack, but did really hope to avoid one if at all possible. A couple of well placed water guns could be very painful for the Charmander, and he'd just gotten healed up. "I'm just curious, mostly." Chi was obviously spoiling for a fight though, and Ryua stayed ready to snag her in case she went running off at the wrong moment. |

Doragon scoffed angrily at the Lotad he knew he was not much of a match for the pokemon because even though it was a grass type it was also a water type so his fire attacks wouldn't do any extra damage but if he got hit by even a single Water Gun it would probably hurt him pretty badly. Pichu would also be at a disadvantage he had watched Lotad fight other pokemon in the wild only having seen them lose to an Ekans which is Poison a Weedle and a few other Bugs and some birds Flying They lacked any super effective moves to use but Pichu would probably do the best in this scenario. Pinsir would do good but it didn't know any bug type moves so that woudl be useless.... Doragon would leave it up to Ryua to decide in the end. |

Well, it seemed like you had to call out a pokemon at some point. Considering that your Charmander seems to have run away all of a sudden. Yes, he ran away, maybe you'll find him again in the future, but for now, he's gone. Anywho, the Androgynous trainer ahead of you looked relatively angry. He seemed to have some issues, but he wanted to battle. The question was would you agree to the battle? Then again, why would you have chased him if you hadn't planned on it in the first place? Anyway, now the question was which of your pokemon would you throw into the fray? You had Pinsir who could definitely do a ton of damage in this battle seeing as he was bigger than lotad, not to mention he had two relatively good attacks that would be perfect to use in this battle. Or maybe chi? He had Thundershock at his dispossal which was a long-range attack, so it was unlikely that Lotad would get close enough to deal damage unless it used Water Gun. In which case, Chi was also really really fast, which meant he'd probably be able to dodge with ease. And if you didn't want to use either of them you had Buizel as well who had a nice plethora of attacks at his hand. You could be all "Pew pew pew!" or "FWOOOSH!" and win the battle easily with him. Or not, whatever, it was your choice. Oh! Or you could pretend that your eggs already hatched and then be all like "Use tackle!" and then realize that they'll get squished once Lotad goes "FROOOSH" with Water Gun. Anywho, it's your choice what you do, but I suggest doing it quickly. [[This officially means that you and Doragon are not Journeying together anymore.]] |

"Alright then, Chi... looks like you're up," Ryua said. The type matchup was too good of a chance to pass up... plus, Chi had been itching to have a battle for ages now. The miniscule Pichu bounded forward, squealing with excitement at the prospect of a battle. Her fur was standing almost straight out from her body with built up electricity, which made her look much rounder than usual, if not a lot bigger... While it meant she would have a good solid amount of electricity to spend on a Thundershock, Ryua wanted to start of a little differently. "Chi, I want you to use your Charm... make that Lotad absolutely helpless!" The little Pichu really could be downright adorable, and when she tried, she was nearly irresistable. With her soft, poofy fur, and massive eyes, and cute little grin, it seemed like she barely even had to try. She just exuded cute sweetness like a fire radiates heat, looking so unbearably loveable that nobody could bear to hurt her. At least, one hoped that was how the Lotad would feel about it. And just at the height of her adorableness, Ryua said, "Thundershock now, Chi!" Chi squeezed herself up, scrunching her cute little red cheeks to sent a zap directly at the Lotad. |

Well judging by the previous posts you are in one weird situation...battling an Androgynous trainer, not that I know what that is anyway. Anyhow onto the ref. You were certainly happy with the type match up that you had, your electric-type Pichu would most certainly fair well against the opposing Lotad. However instead of choosing to make this match a quick one you decided to start off slowly with a Charm attack, oh well it was your move after all. The Androgynous trainer...or the strange trainer as I would like to call him wasn't too keen on your move, rising an eyebrow in surprise at your beginning move. Either way he was mad and ready to counter...unfortunately it was too late for him. His Lotad looked at your Pichu rather astounded by its Charm attack and the effects of the attack took over for that turn. The Androgynous trainer let out a sigh and went on the offensive but once again it was too late: your once cute Pichu unleashed a Thundershock attack hitting the Lotad head on sending the small Pokemon back a few feet. If the enemy trainer wasn't agitated before he was agitated now. "Lotad get back up on your feet and use Tackle!" the trainer shouted. The opposing slowly lifted herself back up and charged towards your Pichu. Well this round was certainly...good for you to say the least despite the fact that the foe Lotad managed to land a Tackle on your cute Pichu.
