Rebuild the World in Ice
As you stepped onto the streets of Nogou Village, you could feel a fresh breeze lightly wrap around your ankles and cool you. Nogou Village is one of the region's principle cities because of its economic purpose in Alternia. The village of Nogou was the top producer of food for the region. So basically you made a good choice in selecting your city; lets just try not to get you into any trouble while your here.

It was a wonderous day to start a Journey. The sky was clear and not a thing could go wrong. It was although the world was at peace and nothing wrong could ever happen. Otherwise a perfect time to start a Journey.

Anyway, there are many things that you can do here. Go to the park, look for a job, you could even look for pokemon that inhabit urban areas. Though, some pokemon like Grimer aren't always nice to have around. However, there are plenty of other things to do as well including finding another pokemon trainer and battling him or her for glory, honor, and the right to rub it in their face if your opponent loses. Remember though, battling is just as much physical as it it mental. Fair warning if you choose the path of the warmongerer. In fact look over there I see a Voltorb rolling towards you. You could fight it if you want or maybe even try to play kickball (That'd be mean but it sound rather fun). Wanna take it on?

:voltorb Level 6 :male

So yes, WELCOME TO ALTERNIA.

Donald watched as Iggles leaped into the air. He had instructed her to go after the Bellsprout, but it seemed his Igglybuff had other ideas because she went straight for the Cherubi. Donald only liked fruit when it was in some sort of desert that he liked, and he would never eat apples even if you paid him. Though it seemed Iggles loved fruit a lot because she went straight for the pokemon that looked like a walking cherry. What seemed funny to him was the dance his Igglybuff was doing in the very middle of her jump. She seemed awfully eager to eat the Cherubi and for some reason Donald felt as if she was making it look like he didn't feed her on purpose. Watching as Iggles fell down toward the Cherubi, Donald barely noticed the flash of yellow that zoomed across the road until he saw it hit the Cherubi. Even as he watched the Pikachu and Cherubi roll into the bushes, Donald began to laugh because his Igglybuff looked as confused as he did. It was hilarious to see his Igglybuff looking so confused and as if she was about to cry because she'd lost her fruit.

"Iggles.." Donald said, trying not to laugh at her. "I told you to go for the Bellsprout...." Walking over to his Igglybuff, Donald picked her up again and tried to comfort her. That was when he saw the Pikachu come out of the bushes beside him, wobbling a bit as it walked as if it had just gotten back from a night at the bar with the boys. Pulling his Igglybuff's pokeball from his pocket, Donald returned her to it and pocketed it. Looking at the Pikachu, Donald smiled shyly at it as he reached out toward it. Placing his hands on it's sides, Donald picked up the Pikachu and held it close. "It seems Igglybuff wasn't the only hungry one..." he said, using the edge of his shirt to wipe the stain from around Pikachu's mouth.

Looking into the Pikachu's eyes as he wiped it's mouth, Donald smiled at it. "You know, if you were hungry you could've just asked me for some food, Pikachu. I would've given you some, you didn't need to interrupt the battle we were having.." Suddenly remembering that Lucius was there, Donald looked over his shoulder. "Er.." he then began to chuckle nervously, standing as he held Pikachu in his arms. "I guess you should battle the Bellsprout, Iggles still seems to be a bit unruly.." Turning is eyes on the Pikachu in his arms again, Donald knew he really wanted to keep it, but he'd leave it up to Pikachu if he'd need to fight Pikachu to catch it or if it would come quietly.

"What do you think, Pikachu? Can I keep you?" Donald asked, his gaze turning serious. "I'll battle you if you want. But I'd really love to be your friend.." Placing the Pikachu back on it's feet, Donald walked a few steps away from the Pikachu, Donald pulled out one of the three pokeballs he had and threw it at the Pikachu, trying to catch it.

Despite his somewhat calm demenour, Avalon was extreamly peed off that the Pikachu had eaten his 'catch of the day' and even moreso when Donny laughed. He was angry about it, infuriated you might say, he always got this way when something didn't quite go to plan. He thought that there was no use staying around, Donny was busy trying to coax Pikachu is his drunken state. So Avalon scooped and picked up Kindle, turned and headed back to the Pokemon Center, keen to make himslef feel better by logging into the PC and sending a message to his parents in Miracu. The Pokemon Center came into view, he passed a few things on the way but paid them no head whether they be battles or not, and entered the sliding doors f the Nogou Pokemon Center.

He found an unoccupied PC and sat down at it, he typed a message to his parents mail adress. It read:

Email : miracu1254@pokemail.alt

Dear Mother and Father,
I have had the time of my life since my arrival and aquired two new friends, a Hoothoot that I caught in the forest and a Houndour that hatched from the Egg. I met a rather nice guy on the way to the pokemon center, his name is Donald. We're hitting it off pretty well, and don't worry I haven't done anything drastic with him, I havent even kissed him yet which is a shame. The one bad thing about my journey however, no a big catastophy though, is the fact that pokemon are unpredictable in the wild. Anyway, I need to go,

See ya, Avalon =3

Once he had finished the email, he clicked send, as you do and entered the PC trading. He saw that there was a Spinarak there that read "Free to a good trainer." Well It didn't literally, there was a small price attached to it. So Avalon decided why not and took the items and money needed and deposited it into the PC, and recieving a said Spinarak from the box. Avalon clicked the ball onto his belt and exclaimed nod "I shall call you Nibbles little Spinarak, fine and cute name it is." Avalon gave Kindle a little rub under his chin and which made him pant, Avalon had calmed down now, and realising that Donny had been left at the scene of the suposed battle by himself with only an Igglybuff as protection. He felt a rush of energy, he logged off from the PC and ran out of the Pokemon Center with Kindle in his arms and Nails in tow. "Nails" he said "If we get there and Donny's in dnager, Peck at whatever is attacking him" he said as he realised now how follish he had been "And Kindle, you can use Ember on it too, but only if he is in trouble got it?" Kindle looked a little confused, but gave a short bark in response as Avalon neared the place he had left Donny.

Phasing Flashback Defender Vigilance

The Pikachu wobbled slightly as Donald reached out for it. He picked it up and it bobbed its head to one side as it blinked, or at least tried to. Rather, each eye seemed to open and close independently, one after the other. “Chaauuau”, the little yellow rodent moaned. It was either a sound of disorientated delight or of intoxicated distress. Nobody would be able to quite tell which. The Bellsprout, though, wasn't standing idly by. It looked at Donald, then the Pikachu in his arms, then Iggles, then back at Donald. The Pikachu gave a satisfied belch and driblets of reddish juice flew from its mouth. The Bellsprout's eyes widened with horrific realization at what had become of its fellow plant Pokemon. Its bright yellow bell turned several shades paler. Its leaves curled in disgust, and it game to a decision. It decided that it had no intention of suffering a similarly terrible fate as the unlucky Cherubi. So, it quickly dove into a bush and fled back into the wild lands from whence it had come.

The Pikachu seemed to be listening to Donald as he spoke to it. But, neither party involved, Donald nor the rodent that he held, could be quite sure that it completely understood what he was saying. It rolled its eyes and smiled in a goofy manner as he spoke. Then, it stretched its arms upwards, into the air, and allowed its body to collapse forward. Then, it pushed itself back up. Donald placed the horribly disorientated Pikachu back onto the ground. It stumbled a few steps backwards as it tried to regain what little sense of balance it had left. It turned away and began to wave its small fists into the air, as if fighting some unseen menace. Donald hurled the Pokeball at the mouse that stood only a short distance away. There was no way that he could miss... That is, there was no way he could miss if it stayed where it was. Unfortunately, that is not what happened. The Pikachu lost its balance and stumbled forward before falling onto its belly. The ball flew over its body, nearly hitting its ears, and landed into a roll where it stopped several feet from its intended target.

The Pikachu stared at the Pokeball for a moment, its chin resting on the ground. Suddenly, its tail stood erect and its ears became stiff. It jumped to its feet with a slight wobble and looked at Donald fiercely. With a yell, it quickly shot off several Thundershock attacks in quick succession. One arched upwards and dissipated into the air. Another flew into the ground, leaving a dark singe at Donald's feet. A third flew off to the side, its final destination unkown. The sudden burst of energy knocked Donald onto the floor, and into a sitting position. He sat for a moment, his hair standing on end and his eyes clearing from the light caused by the attacks. The Pikachu squinted at the human. It smiled and began to lean forward, as if it was going to fall. It stumbled and regained its balance only to lose it again and end up on its back. A few seconds passed. The Pikachu didn't stir. All that could be heard was the soft snoring sound coming from it.

By this time, Avalon was long gone. He had effectively navigated the streets of Nogou and had reached the center relatively quickly, with little trouble along the way. He had sent his letter and was, in fact, on his way back. Not only was he on his way back, but with heroic intentions in mind, he was running back to save Avalon from whatever danger he might be in. Unfortunately, this rush caused his trip from the center to be much less uneventful than his trip to it. He turned a corner and suddenly found himself crashing into the unsuspecting man that was standing on the other side of it. The air was suddenly filled with very many fliers and one very surprised Houndour. The fliers fluttered down and landed softly on the ground. The Houndour, on the other hand, was not so light, nor so lucky. It landed with a resounding thud and a painful yelp.

The man was taller than Avalon, though by no great height. He wore a plain, white, short-sleeve shirt and blue jeans. One pant leg was torn slightly at the knee, while his clothes in general seemed to be rather worn and loose-fitting. His hair was unkempt and his face, which had either the remnants or the beginnings of a beard, was full of sweat. His shirt showed signs of sweating as well. He, along with Kindle, the fliers, and Avalon, had also been knocked to the ground by the impact. Nails, who was actually a short distance behind, had been the only one to avoid getting involved.

“Auuugh! Again!”, the man yelled in frustration as he got to his feet, “You people need to where you're going! Now I got'a pick all this up! I ought'a make you pay for makin' me run behind!” He started frantically picking up the fliers that he had been carrying. Avalon saw that they were advertising some sort of tournament, and they read:

The 100th Annual Tournament of Aegis

On June 1st, 2009, Alternia will be holding its 100th annual Tournament of Aegis. The Tournament allows people to enter up to three Pokemon. Matches are organized randomly, and entrants will be allowed to use each of their three Pokemon in the fights. However, it is only one-on-one combat. Two or more Pokemon on the field results in immediate disqualification. The Tournament is divided into multiple tiers based on skill level. There are 24 possible tiers, but this year, estimated funds will only be enough to support five of them. We will be fielding trainers from Tiers 1-4. Tier 5 will host all trainers more skilled than those in Tier 4. If no one enters your tier, you will be put into a lower tier with a handicap. The Tournament charges a fee of $100 that pays for mass transit to the facilities from all three major cities, the facilities themselves, and the prizes. This year's prizes will be the following:

  • 1st Place: Trophy, $2000, and a Tier X 1st Place Badge
  • 2nd Place: Trophy, 2 Ultra Balls, a Great Ball, and a Tier X 2nd Place Badge
  • 3rd Place: Medal, One Great Ball, One Specialty Ball, and a Tier X 3rd Place Badge
  • 4th Place: Tier X 4th Place Badge
  • 5th Place: Tier X 5th Place Badge

The Tournament will be held at the foot of the Joukai Tower. Legend says that this Tournament gives the legendary Pokemon of Emotion, Mesprit, Knowledge, Uxie, and Willpower, Azelf, the power to keep Alternia safe. This tournament will also keep the Joukai Tower a place of peace and calm. The excitement, strategy, and desire of the trainers and their Pokemon makes the source of the three fairies' power regain its strength. Thus, this is the Tournament of Aegis, the tournament that keeps Alternia safe. Legend also states that this tournament revives the power of other artifacts of power that keep the power of legendary Pokemon at their peak.

Do you have what it takes to be in the legendary Tournament of Aegis? Registration tables open on May 31st at the Joukai Tower Arena. Be there!

“What are ya' doin' just starin' at the ground?!”, yelled the man once more. “Help me pick up this mess! ”, he demanded, “You better not run off like that other guy!”. Suddenly, Avalon heard a whimpering sound to his left. Kindle hobbled over to him, with one paw raised pitifully in the air. Apparently, the fall had injured the little dog to the point that it could no longer stand on its right forelimb without feeling pain. The man was unconcerned with Kindle's plight. He had not noticed due to his own focus on picking up the fliers.

Donald watched as the Pikachu stumbled away and wobbled, barely able to keep its balance. Yep, the Pikachu was definitely drunk from eating the Cherubi. Donald didn't know what had become of the Bellsprout, but from the rustling of the bushes nearby his only guess was that the Bellsprout had fled the scene instead of sticking around to become a salad. When the Pikachu looked at Donald with a devilish glare, Donald knew that the Pikachu was angry that he'd tried to catch it. What Donald hadn't been expecting was for the Pikachu to begin firing off random volts of electricity in odd directions. In it's drunken state, the Pikachu definitely didn't seem to have any control. Blinking in confusion and trying to get his bearing again as well as clear his head, Donald saw the Pikachu wobble a bit more before falling over it's back and asleep again. "I have to catch it..." he mumbled, crawling past the Pikachu on his hands and knees to grab the pokeball he'd thrown that had missed before. Grabbing the pokeball, Donald crawled back over to the Pikachu and looked down at it. "This time we'll do things differently..." he growled lowly, pulling out the pokeball that contained his Igglybuff.

Releasing Iggles, Donald placed his finger to his lips to let her know that she needed to stay quiet. Seeing this, his Igglybuff nodded and looked at the Pikachu. Even she knew it was drunk and she began to frown. She didn't like drunks because of how they usually screamed and got violent. Puffing up in indignation, she looked at Donald, wondering what he wanted her to do. Thankfully, Donald nodded at her and whispered in the softest voice he could muster "Use bounce and bounce on it's head like a trampoline. Then when it wakes up, use Sing to put it back to sleep..."

Avalon without a thought for the man and his fliers stooped and picked up Kindle, being careful not to furthur injure his paw and gently cradilng him. On of the fliers had stuck to Kindles back paw, Avalon took it and read it, noticing that the Tournament of Aegis had since expired and it had done so a long time ago. Kindle was still whimpering softly but not as much as he had been before, Nails was graowling at the man whom was hurriedly picking up the useless fliers, he was in a hurry alright but what does he want with all of these fliers? Did he have a Growlithe who was yet to be housetrained? Or a strange recycling fetish? It all seemed very peculiar.

"I am sorry sir," he said politely not wanting to anger the man further, just-in-case he had on him a pokemon that Avalon had no change in hell of beating. He gave Nails a nudge with his foot, and a stern look that said 'If you attack him I swear you will not be hugged for a week' and that seemed to calm the small fireball. He looked around to see if there were anymore fliers, there were some but many had either been picked up already, or blown away, he none-the-less helped the man by picking up some of the scattered fliers and placing them back into the hands of the man. Avalon had no mind for impatient people, even though he himself was quite impatient, so he was hurrying with the fliers. "I have no where better to be sir, no where at all. I am sure my previous travelling companion is off having another adventure somewhere else and I am thinking of what I could do next," Avalon explained not caring if the man did not care about what he was thinking. "I was actually hoping to go and find a few pokemon battles, maybe a quest or something, it is very exciting being in this lovely lush village, not as lush as Miracu but lush enough."

Avalon finished picking up the fliers, "You have my leave sir," he said poshly and strode off away from the man. He was thinking, thoughts rushed through his head like Rapidash on an open plain. He was hoping to get some training done today, but a loud whimper from Kindle came mid-thought and he turned his attention to once again navigating his way back to the Pokemon Center to see fif this injury was a sprain or a break. Nails tottered along after him happily, Rammy, Nibbles and Lark were safe inside their pokeballs, fresh and full of life. He cared about Kindle at the moment and walked briskly once again towards the Pokemon Center.

As you approached Nurse Joy, she eagerly took Kindle from you to care for his wounds. After that she also took the other Pokemon to be healed. Therefore you got to enjoy the best part of the Pokemon Center: the wait for your Pokemon. After what seemed like an eternity, you finally received your Pokemon and decided to head out towards the forest.

As you reached the town's edge however, you happened to notice some Pokemon dancing around on the path in front of you. They hadn't noticed you yet, so you might be able to get the jump on them if you play your cards right. However they are in awful close proximity, so an attack on one of them will end up being an attack on all of them. It would be a team battle. A good opportunity to get some training in, I think. However you could do something else entirely as well. The choice is yours.

Avalon eyed the pokemon carefully, thinking of his options. There were three pokemon to decipher as to their importance, but perhaps the most appealing pokemon would have to be Oddish. Oddish was a beautiful female, and it was easy to predict that she would make a wonderful addition to his contest team, she had been on his list for a long time. He already had a Noctowl, well a Hoothoot anyway, and could easily substituad a Houndoom for a Glaceon, so Bellossom would be a likely ally in his prefered future. The other pokemon were less appealing, he did not really like Victreebel, or Bellsprout for that matter, and although Lopunny was fun to have around, he could get by without her. The thought process only took about thirty seconds, but by the end Avalon had worked out his plan.

He would battle the pokemon with Nails, Kindle and Nibbles. Nails has an advantage over grass types because of Peck, so taking out Bellsprout would be an easy option, but he wanted to give his smallest pokemon some EXP so he would let Nails tackle Buneary with Peck. Kindle could focus on Bellsprout then, his first battle with a grass pokemon should be easy with Ember. Finally, Nibbles can focus on wearing down Oddish so she will be easier to catch, knocking out the other to will dodge any resistance and/or change of escape skillfully and Oddish can be captured if it faints too, but we should aviod that, just in case a trip to the Pokemon Center gets too repetitive.

Avalon gripped his pokeballs containing Nibbles and Nails in one hand, in his other he held Kindle. With a flick of his finger the pokeballs opened without leaving his palm and Nails and Nibbles came out to "play", and he set Kindle down at his feet after he had reattached the two pokeballs to his belt. "Okay guys, here's what I want you to do. Nails, you focus on Buneary, Peck her and dodge her attacks as best you can. Nibbles, you are to focus on wearing down Oddish, iff possible, climb up something to get a higher vantage point and then when the time is right go in for a Poison Sting. And Kindle, you can focus of Bellsprout, she is the weekest and is vulnerable to your Ember attack, your leg should be fine now so be nimble and quick and ignight her like a candlestick." Avalon was pleased with his little nursery rhyme anecdote. "Ready guys, go get them!.

With the brilliant flashes of white light, the three pokemon turned and looked towards you. Their playful demeanor became quite serious. Whose wouldn't, upon seeing three battle-hungry Pokemon and a trainer walking up the path? They assumed their battle positions, and the fight was on!

Nails was first to act, and darted forward towards the Buneary. He drove his head spike towards her, much like a bird would do with a beak, but he didn't seem that into attacking. It must be because of his innate Rivalry ability. Nails must have considered the Buneary as a potential mate, and didn't really have much of a desire to hurt her. She yelped out in pain, and responded by angrily driving a fist down onto his head with a Pound.

Over across the way, the Bellsprout responded to Kindle's steps towards her by darting forward and bringing a Vine Whip crashing down on the young pup's head. He shook it off, being naturally resistant to Grass moves, and unleashed a firey spray of embers towards his foe. She yelped out in pain and began hopping on one root..foot..thingy while holding the other scorched one in the air. Ember must have burned her!

As for Nibbles and Oddish, the battle was far slower and less interesting. After all, both Pokemon were resistant to each other. Oddish was first to act, and tried to leech some health out of Nibbles by utilizing Absorb. Nibbles might have laughed at the pitiful attempt if her attack fared much better. She unleashed a torrent of needles towards the Oddish, who shrugged off the attack as well. Unless you explored other options with that battle, it could drain Nibbles' energy pretty quick.

So that's the long and short of it, trainer! What do you do now?

Avalon watched as Nails unenthusiastically attacked Buneary, driving his spike forward. He was a little disappointed that Buneray didn't recieve poisoning from using that pound but beggars can't be choosers he supposed. Nails was thinking of Buneary as a potential mate but Buneary was an enemy right now so Nails would have to make do with that. Kindle had sucessfully used his Ember, but not without receiving a Vine Whip and a little damage. Avalon was pleased with Kindle's attempts and he was doing quite well for himself, Kindle was a brave little pup, with an advantage mind you. Nibbles attempts at attacking were less than average, considering the fact last time Avalon had checked Poison attacks against Oddish dealed normal damage due to Oddish's grass type. However this Poison attack just glanced the surface and didn't do much in the way of damage.

Though Avalon was overall pleased with his pokemon, and whilst they were pulling off their attacks he had more time to think. He thought about the pokemon he was battling. Buneary were cute, Belsprout were good pokemon and Oddish were his desired choice. But for some reason he though that someone may WANT the Bellsprout that Kindle was currently fighting so he decided to go with this instinct. As soon as both Bellsprout was down he would capture it, and Oddish as well. He would leave the Buneary out of it though, for some unknown reason he did not see her as a potential. Avalon brushed a strand of hair from his eyes and began the next stage of attack.

"Nails, you're doing very well. I want you to give Buneary two more Peck attacks, do your best to sustain as little damage as possible from Buneary."

"Kindle, your doing great for your first battle, I'm proud of you. Keep up with that Ember and use that twice as well."

He thought about an attack strategy for Nibbles now, it took him a moment but he finally decided to teach her a move that would do her well to learn: Constrict.

"Nibbles, listen to me carefully, I'm going to try and teach you constrict using your String Shot move. Fire a stringshot at Oddish and wrap it arround her, then without letting go of your end, pull tightly and hopefully the strong web won't break when Oddish is squeezed." Avalon hoped that the attack would work, if Nibbles was capable of learning this simple move it could make the battle go alot smoother. Avalon continued to think now. He had his pokemon team, Sheildon, Nidoran :male , Houndrour, Spinarak and Hoothoot. As much as he liked Hoothoot he found it a bit unsettling, he decided that Hoothoot would do well in the hands of another trainer so he decided that he would trade him for something much better, and he could trade Bellsprout as a packaged deal too, that trainer would be lucky. Anyway, that was for later, for now he had to finifh this battle.

♣Alternia♣

The battle was well underway and all pokemon looked ready for more, despite the previous round where things went rather slowly, this round promised to be more eventful as far as attacks went. Now, how about we check ourselves into the battle between Nails and Buneary? Last we saw, Nails was thinking of the little rabbit as a potential mate and didn't seem like he wanted to attack her, but this would have to be worked out because their was definitely a need to win!

Having heard the commands, Nails began to prepare himself for two consecutive peck attacks and focused on the Buneary as an enemy now, though deep in the back of his mind the sense of mateness was still awake. None the less, he charged like a lance headed for another jousting man and as he approached Buneary contact seemed eminent! Except for when Buneary quickly used a splash attack and dodged just before pushing off of Nails' head causing him to slam his head into the ground. Not only that, but while Nails recovered, she came right back with another Pound attack, this time aimed for Nails' side, but the Nidoran was fast enough to turn and use a successful peck on Buneary's arm before it made impact, and wouldn't you know it? He also landed a poison status on her!

Kindle was up next in his battle against Bellsprout. Most people consider Bellsprout to be a weak pokemon, considering it doesn't lean many damage-dealing moves until it reaches maturity at around level 20, but obviously for your Houndour this battle was about as good as he was going to get for now. So with your commands set, he released his first volley of embers toward the weed and wagged his tail excitedly at the thrill of the battle! However, when he saw the Bellsprout lash a vine through the air and strike down most of the embers before they actually got to it, he was a little bit let down, but that didn't stop him from sending a second array of the attack! The second ember however was a complete failure, for Bellsprout had seen it coming and had moved out of the way as soon as the attack was released and then came back toward Kindle with another Vine Whip, this time hitting him hard in the side. Even his resistance to grass-type attack wasn't enough to keep him from pain.

Now, let's move on to your tutoring, shall we?

Nibbles was intrigued by your offer to tutor a move and listened carefully to your words. What he understood was that he was to wrap a stringshot around the oddish, and then just hold tight. It wasn't too difficult, but now would he be able to do it? Quickly the young spinirak began to collect the sticky substance in its mouth and released it as it would any other day, careful to aim properly in order to wrap it around the Oddish. He was successful as far as striking the oddish went, but the angle at which he hit the oddish did not allow him to easily wrap his string around him. Neither pokemon did much after that, Oddish's mouth had been shut closed by the string, and its feet stuck to the ground so it was left immobile for now.

Avalon was, shall we say, moderatley enthused about the battles outcome thus far. All the pokémon in the battle seemed to be doing very well, Nails had embraced his truly invigorous side and done some damage to the female Buneary, even landing the poison state somehow on the the young female pokémon's supple flesh. However, Nails in turn sustained some damage so it wasn't all good, though it was better than instant death, of expulsion from existance. Kindle was doing very well indeed, considering the fact that his attempts at Ember were foiled by that, if I may say in an Irish accent, "bloody plant." He was happy with his first attack, cute little tail waggin' an' all, but the pain endured from the after effects made him a little apprehensive about attacking again. Nibbles had suceeded in immoblising Oddish, and had learned what may be the beginnings of a useful move, whilst Oddish was immoblised the String Shot attack to Constrict could work in Nibbles' favour.

Avalon decided to finish this battle ASAP, he had a feeling that something may happen sometime soon and being in an advanced battle wouldn't exactly help the situation. He spoke, in a strong, firm and concise tone.

"Nails, you did really well, what I want you to do now is lauch two more Peck attacks, be careful though because Buneary may dodge, so be tricky and try to outmover her."

"Kindle, keep it up, that last round was a bit of a let down but this time I want you to use Beat-Up on Bellsprout and whilst it is distracted put all your energy into an Ember attack."

"Nibbles, it is your turn to strike, Oddish is immoble. What I want you to do is fire a Stringshot at Oddish and wrap him up good and taught, then pull on the string to make it tighter."

To recap, he wants:
- Nidoran to Peck twice, hopefully foiling dodging with his fancy footwork.
- Kindle to use Beat-Up and hopefully land an Ember with power behind it while Bellsrput is distracted.
- Nibbles to try a new Technique for CONSTRICT.

Continuing the tutoring of constrict, I see. Your instructions sounded fine, but let's see how they play out, shall we? First, let's start with Nidoran, named Nails, versus Buneary. Nidoran charged at Buneary, pointing it's horn forward, ready to use peck. However, Buneary had other plans, and getting hit wasn't in them. As Nidoran got close, Buneary used splash. Yes, splash, you hear me right. Don't worry, you're not hallucinating or anything.

Splash was actually fairly useful here. Buneary used it to propel herself into the air, going over Nails. This served as a way to dodge the attack, basically, albeit wasting a alight amount of energy. However, Nails swiftly spun around, using it's second peck on Buneary, managing to strike it. However, managing to recover from the attack, Buneary quickly spun around and slammed it's big ears into Nails with a pound attack. Buneary then took a little damage from being poisoned.

Now then, onto the second of the three, Houndour and Bellsprout. Before Houndour could even react, Bellsprout sprout out a vine. Another one shot out, as they both slammed into Houndour. It was using Vine Whip. Houndour then used Beat Up, as five dark images of Avalon's team members appeared, attacking Bellsprout. Bellsprout used another Vine Whip to destroy two of the dark images, however, three others reached it, dealing somewhat mild damage.

Houndour then took Bellsprout's opening to fire it's ember attack. Spraying our a horde of miniature fireballs, they pelted the Bellsprout, doing super effective damage. Afterwards, Bellsprout took damage from the burn it received previously.

Now for the final of the three, Spinarak and Oddish. Spinarak tried to do as you commanded, spraying out the sticky webbing from wherever spiders spray such material. It kind of wrapped Oddish up, but Spinarak had to circle it a time or two to fully wrap it up. All the time Oddish was squirming, but couldn't easily break free, due to lack of arms.

Spinarak then pulled the string back a little, tightening it as Oddish could be heard squirming a little. Things seemed to be going okay. Suddenly, Spinarak had pulled it TOO tight. The line attaching it to Oddish snapped. The good news was, Oddish was still tangled up, so if you hurried maybe you could still use it as a target.

A little advice, it'd be easier if Spinarak learned how tight to pull it, among other things.

Avalon enjoyed his momentary victory, after returning from his lapse in thought he had noticed his team awaiting his commands. Nails it seemed had ended up doing a fait bit of damage the the Buneary, Kindle was doing just fine with the Bellsprout and Spinarak was using her instinctive instincts to command her web in the form of a constrict attack. Maybe it was best to wrap this battle up as soon as possible. Avalon was still holding his egg, a strange thing he had found, and he decided that holding it like this was a bit dangerous, so he quickly knelt and took the Egg Container from his bag, placing the egg inside and pressing the necessary buttons. He looked up from this position and called out to his three little battlers.

"Nails, your doing great, but I have a plan, I want you to focus on the Buneary's movements, and when the time is right, I want you to kick out hard with your back legs and try and do a Double Kick." Avalon was confident that this move would be a touch easier to learn and against a Normal Type it would do some pretty good damage.

"Kindle, I want you to be as nimble as you can and aim to hit Bellsprout with two Ember attacks. If it is knocked out by the first I want you to aim the second at Oddish, but be mindful of Nibbles." Avalon knew his little puppy would do just fine with this.

"Nibbles I want you too give Constrict a little rest for now. Attack Oddish with two Strikes, and be mindful of Kindle please." Avalon had given Spinarak a little rest from the tutoring, seeing if that would help. After that he stood and was over come with a feeling on a little more weight added to his belt. He reached around with his free hand, the other holding the Egg Container in place, and grasped a sixth pokeball that had not been there before. It was odd, he thought he should see what it was, but after the battle. He also located a colourfully wrapped lollipop, the label read "Happiness in candy form," in his pocket, lord knew how long that had been there. Puzzled, he returned to the battle at hand, afterwards he may see what these new objects contained and/or did, thought he had a feeling it wasn't the last he would see of these surprises.

(( Recap: Avalon has stopped tutoring Constrict to Spinarak and has moved on to teach Nidoran :male Double Kick. He has just noticed the Lollipop and Budew he recieved from Cupix [ Shad ]. May I have my prizes from the Genbu quest please? I know its a bit late, I have been busy. I recieved a penalty and I do not know what items I got. ))

Nails went, running at Buneary. He quickly turned and thrust his back legs out, hitting Buneary and knocking her to the ground. However, it was really just a kick. If not a little better. Buneary was knocked to the ground, stunned by the kick. You could probably take this opening to use it as a Move Tutoring target. Next up was Kindle the Houndour. He was told to use ember on Bellsprout, and if it wasn't fainted, a second ember. If the first ember fainted Bellsprout, use the second one on Oddish, but look out for Nibbles.

Opening his mouth, Houndour unleashed the flurry of embers, striking Bellsprout. This did just enough damage to faint Bellsprout, as it fell to the ground, defeated. One down, two to go. Turning to the Oddish, Kindle used it as it's second target, shooting the embers out at Oddish, avoiding Nibbles. While it did little damage to the Oddish itself, it served as a neat distraction. Due to the low speed, Oddish couldn't have even dreamed of dodging.

Spinarak then ran up, smacking Oddish with it's. . . legs I guess? After doing that, it smacked it yet again. Oddish shot out an absorb at Kindle, but he managed to swiftly avoid the green energy.
