The Battle Camp is a small patch of land in Millenia Town. Similar to the Battle Tower in Hoenn, it is an area where trainers are asked to put their pokemon into battle with one another with various secondary-effects occuring during the battle.
Here at the battle camp a trainer registers themselves for a day of battling within the camp. Depending on which difficult the trainer chooses at registration the battle settings and rules differ. None the less, the trainer is provided with a home, food, and a temporary daycare for their pokemon for the day.
Now, the difficulties one can choose from range from Novice to Master, each with its own rules and guidelines discussed below.

Novice At the novice level one enters battle using level 15 Pokemon, none of which are their own. Basically, upon registering for a day of camp at this level, one puts their pokemon into the daycare (or leaves them within the room) and selects three pokemon from a provided list of six. Using those three pokemon, the trainer battles other trainers constantly. After each battle, the trainer may choose to switch one, two, or all of their pokemon with a pokemon from the losing trainers team and then heals their pokemon in order to return for the next battle.
Beginner Beginner level camp days are a bit easier in some views. At this level you are allowed to use your own pokemon again, and battles go by much faster. This is because when you enter this kind of battle your pokemon selects its attack on its own, thus leaving the trainer to simply stand there and watch while the pokemon do all the battling. Luckily, this rule also applies to the opponent. Trainers MAY on the other hand command their pokemon to do something, but the chance of them listening to their trainer is not very high.
Intermediate Intermediate is mostly a speed-based camp experience in which you must defeat your opponent in a set ammount of time. Basically you must defeat your opponent's pokemon within three posting cycles or the judges will simply go by which pokemon had a better hit-streak, effectivity-streak, that kind of thing. So here, you will need some luck along with a well-thought strategy. On the plus side, you get to use your own pokemon again.
Master The Master Rank is the highest of the high where only the strongest of trainers are asked to compete. Of course, that doesn't mean everyone else isn't invited to compete either. The rules of the Master Camp are simple, you enter with your pokemon (choosing three of them as per usual) and battle against the pokemon of other trainers. Except this time while you battle you are forbidden to use moves that the target pokemon has a weakness to. Not only that, but you are also only allowed to choose ONE pokemon to battle the opponent, despite having three with you, and the fun doesn't end there. The pokemon that is sent out is chosen at RANDOM, thus not even giving you the option of which pokemon to battle with. On the off-chance that your pokemon's attacks are ALL weaknesses of the opponent's pokemon, the opponent pokemon will be switched for another. There is also a final 'rule' which involves various tertiary-effects such as field changes, status effects, etc. coming into play mid-battle.
Certain Moves are forbidden in these battles: These include moves that cause the trainer's pokemon run/switch from battle. Including, but not limited to, Baton Pass, Whirlwind, Roar, etc.
What is the point of the Battle Camp? Well, at the end of the day each difficult has an award ceremony in which the trainers with the most wins are awarded with fabulous prizes ranging from rare items, or rare pokemon.
